Used to love donating here tell I came today and was told it's appointment only and couldn't donate so won't be returning I usually donate when I can on one of my random days off but now I can't do that due to they new appointment policy so now I will just donate at CSL plasma and least they open on weekends so I can donate then when I'm off you guys just lost a donor
I've been donating for a month now and have not had one negative experience here at ADMA. The employees are polite, do their job well and make me feel comfortable. I would recommend anyone to come here to donate plasma. It does get busy sometime and that can result in a lengthy wait, but that's just the way it is... we wait everywhere.
I've been going there for a while now the people are knowledgeable and skilled, they try to do what they can to help with customers issues
I donate plasma twice a week. Plasma donation helps many people and I get paid very well for it. The wait time to donate varies from hour to hour. For the most part it is a painless procedure except for the initial vein puncture and removal of the tape from my hairy arm Personal tvs are there at each chair to pass the time. I listen to music and read. It's a great book time. Great way to make extra cash and help people at the same time. I highly recommend ADMA. And I encourage everyone to donate your time
Edit: been waiting over an hour to be called back to donate? everything else is great just don't understand why it's taking over an hour to be called back. After reading the reviews I was literally scared to come here. Honestly tho,, but the lady that helped me in the front was respectful and pleasant. No there is no one at the front desk because they are working on other things but there is a bell and when you ring it they come right up. The nurse who does the physical was really nice and the phlebotomist
UPDATE: Sunday I called at 11:30 AM to confirm before going that there was someone to do a physical. I was told by am employee, yes, there was and I arrived at the center 25 minutes later. After filling out my paperwork and reviewing the binder, I walked up to the desk to turn in paperwork to be told they were not taking any new donors. Unbelievable. This is why your business will fail. I will not be back. This is my 2nd attempt to donate at this location. There are no directions when you walk in. So I wal
I have been coming here from about a year and the past 5 months have been horrible. The wait times are the worse in the area. The fastest I have been called back was an hour. I am waiting now and have been here an hour and 15 mins on a random Tuesday (not during peek hours) and still no sig of being called back. I will have to go back to donating at CSL because I have never waited there this long. Staff in the front are rude. I'm not sure what had happened here but it has gone downhill quick and just not c
Supposedly deferred due to a non listed federal guideline about some thyroid issue I don't have not listed. I never saw anything about an option I don't have any issue whatsoever. And I'm not sure what this lady supervisor lied to her about. But I asked for proof and didn't receive it at all. I simply swallowed a piece of fireball and it made me cough a bit. Other than that I am perfectly fine. Racism at its finest. I was left in a room when the young man was called out during a physical lab test he was doi
Been going here for a while, but it's gotten worse over time. For some reason or another, all the good phlebotomists don't stay long, leaving more and more incompetent workers to stay. The old lady that works in the front has the nastiest attitude, definitely shouldn't be dealing with people. The ladies when I first started donating were all wonderful. None of the workers now ever seem to be in a good mood, and often complain out loud.
1 Staff personnel can make the team look bad, especially if they are placed in a position of authority. In my return I was placed in high return pressure and Katrina asked, MOD, Maria. She looked at me rolled her eyes and went past 2x. On the third time passing by me she says, Ms Nicole do u want me 2 look at it... Doing your job And making sure the donor is safe should be your main priority instead of having negative personal feelings regarding the donor due to previous mismanagement of the donor on a prio
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Today 4 yes 4 new donors were all turned away due to not having good veins which is a joke. I have been giving plasma in another state for years with no problems.but yes today they said my veins were to small. What a joke. I went to another plasma donation center and guess what??? They had no problem with my veins. I saw another new donor who was turned away with me due to bad veins and this plasma center had no problem finding hers either. Incompetent workers that do not w
Will not pay you what your supposed to get, don't pay on time either, staff are rude ?? ?? not the ideal place, csl and octapharma is better
I absolutely LOVE this place and wouldn't go anywhere else! The staff is amazing (all of them) and they make donating so much fun! All of the negative reviews on here are really unfair to them. Why would u show up an hour before they close anyway?! Don't u think they want to go home just like you from a hard day of work?! Also, I've NEVER been stuck more than once. Maybe their veins are super deep or something lol. That's not their fault. Y?all are amazing every day and I LOVE y?all!
David (the director?) is the most rude person I have ever met. He treats donors and his staff terribly. He walks around talking down to everyone. Make sure you donate when he is not there. The rest of the staff is amazing. David needs to go.
I've been a donor at this plasma center for a while and have had good experiences in the past. However, my recent visit was quite disappointing. As a returning donor, I had to wait longer than expected to receive my compensation. When I called to address this, I was hung up on, which was frustrating and unprofessional. While waiting to give plasma, I noticed that four people who arrived after me were called in before me. This inconsistency in wait times is unacceptable. Additionally, the center needs to fig
They simply do not have it together here. It's a Systematic problem. Women are nice that's about it. Avoid at all costs!
I've been donating plasma for 20+ years for the most part. ADMA Biocenters is my new center for making donations. The staff seems new to this business, but have not lacked in their ability to produce quality donating procedures without fail. ADMA is definitely worth visiting. The wait time is very short too... In and out in an hour usually. Excellent work, safe and sound.
I was here on Wednesday with a friend of mine while they were donating. I came inside to go to the bathroom and as I was in the building I heard a donor threaten the life of a young lady sitting at the front desk and then leave. I assumed that donor would be banned from donating or something but when I was in there again today I saw that same donor in the building. Apparently this center allows donors to threaten staff members and still continue to donate. I do not feel comfortable being in this building, l
Better than Octa or csl for sure but I'm taking 2 stars for the rude inconsiderate staff that would rather chat about stuff not involved with work then check you in or act like you are a burden on them while the pay out is nice but they need to improve their bedside manners stop acting like they are better than the donor it's not like the donors coming are druggies or drunks just coming for a fix it's respectable people that are helping to save others lives when they realize this maybe it will be a 5 star f
This facility is clean. Staff is friendly. The screening process is fast. No long wait times. They are very clear with fees that will be given to donors. Some of the donors become friends staff. I found this to be distracting. Once in a rush to finish a conversation the employee was not a gentle as you should be with a needle . I have been left with cuff placed on me too tight to the point I lost feeling in my fingers. Once the machine was alarming for at 3 minutes. She advised she didn't hear it,
The experience at ADMA is the same every single time.... AWESOME....Rose is always attentive and urgent, I love her energy...Amanda, Gina, Jade, Shyanne, Drea, hell the whole crew is AWESOME, I ve never had any issues service wise, and I know somedays and people are better than others, but they continue to joke, laugh, and interact just to keep others comfortable. Even when people come in late (Not me though ??), they continue to make it happen. The ADMA Crew is GREAT from front to back, and yall might no
I have been donating here since they opened and I really like it here I have been donating since I was 18 years old just to help others the money help me out
Staff is very professional. Thoroughly explained the procedures for donations.
I come here twice a week to donate. The staff is very friendly and they remember you! They're always good conversation. It's a great way to earn some extra dollars and help folks.
Update: after seeing the ?owners? message I tried to call the facility, and was almost directed to the same man that was aggressive with me, only to politely decline and told to re-call the regional manager ?Caleb?. Caleb tried to inform me that he did call me, however, I had no missed phone calls, nor a voicemail and typically always am in an area with good reception. He also told he was a part of writing this reply to me. He then told me I was now deferred for 56 days( strange that I was never informed t
The facility is so clean and new. The staff was super accommodating and made sure to make me comfortable every step from check in, to physical, to being stuck. The first time is a little lengthy but I feel from this point on it will be a quick painless process for some quick extra cash that can save lives.
Hopefully a manager that care can see this but I am a regular at ADMA in Goose Creek,SC. When I first started coming here, I made sure to call to see when is the latest time I could donate. The receptionist told me as long as I come in before 6:59pm that I am good to donate. Well today on August 22nd, I walked in at 6:50pm. Amanda that was at the front told a donor that was sitting in the front ?well I might as well go to my car and get my cigarettes since I know I'm gonna be here for another hour.? I ignor
If I could give this a no star, I definitely would. I went to go as a new donor from Mt. Pleasant. I left the minute I got off work. However, due to traffic, I saw I was running no more than 10 min behind their last time for new donors. I did the responsible thing and called them. I advised I was no more than 10 min away and I was a new donor. They advised that they will not accept me if I was 1 min later than 5:30pm. This is ridiculous. There should be a contingency rule for traffic issues. I ended up
It was my first time donating today. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it went very well! I jokingly told my husband that their screening is more in depth than a physical at the doctors office. Haha. But that's a good thing, of course. I'd much rather them be thorough. The staff was sweet and down to earth and made me feel so at ease. I watched them interact with donors that frequently come in. They laughed and joked like they were family; You can tell they enjoy what they do. And I appreciate that so much.
My first time donating Plasma at this place. Everybody is wonderful there, from check in to the actual plasma donation. Clean and modern facility. Love it there. I will be back. They also took their time to explain everything and answer any question I had.
First time donor tried going there I waited from 4 to 6pm for them to finally show up at the front desk to tell me that I can't be seen because the new donor time policy even though it was there incompetence of not actually being/working at the front desk even after I walked back 3 times to ask about the new donor sign up process they kept ignoring me and finally/rudely asked me to wait at the front desk that someone will be there I understand if it was busy or under staffed but that wasn't the case It was
Editing my review after 4 visits. Today I and others witnessed the supervisor with the mullet be very rude and unprofessional to the staff during a machine/operating malfunction. When you're in a setting as such, it's best to be calm and professional and that was not what happened. I feel bad for that woman she was looking for a problem with. Do better. Be professional. It's work. Make your money and go home.
What a clean and beautiful building! The staff are wonderful and professional. They really took care of me - looking out for my safety and making sure I was always comfortable. The TVs were connected to the comfortable arched seat while I donated plasma. I'm going back tomorrow with my wife.
Got there at 3pm and was turned down because they didn't want to take any more new donors. The lady at the front desk wasn't welcoming at all and had an attitude with one of the other donors before dealing with me.
Not at all friendly to new donors. There was 0 instructions for new donors, no one was there to check me in, I called out for someone to help and no one answered me.
Great service always a pleasure to do business with.
Hands down the best place to donate plasma in the area! Not only is the lay better the staff is absolutely the best from front to back. It's a lot friendlier and somewhat of a fun environment at ADMA! Both the wife and I are extremely happy donating twice a week here. Not only does it help others it really helps ease up on the bills! Highly recommend going here!
The staff is super kind and very professional, I felt comfortable every step of the way. Above all the facility was IMMACULATE! Super clean and inviting atmosphere, cannot wait for my next donation!
My first time ever donating plasma. So far the experience was great. The staff is amazing. I will be back..??
Very clean, wonderful staff, I enjoy being able to donate and also get paid for it. Even when they're busy, the staff are very attentive and very friendly. I enjoy coming here to donate plasma.
When I first went there it was great, the pay was good, the people were nice, now, the people at the desk have an attitude, you get under payed now, and it always having to wait to get the money I went for as well, highly disappointed now, ?? thought this would have changed the plasma places but they following the rest of them now what a joke to take advantage of people while you make 4x off of me, while I get the lowest payment possible, I don't recommend donating plasma anymore, there just there to take a
The staff are genuinely kind and the process is efficient and pain free. I recommend this center over any other in Charleston.
The staff were all very professional, courteous, and accommodating. The center itself was clean and had plenty of space in the waiting area and on the donor floor. They also offer incentives for consistent donations and bonuses for referrals. 10/10 would donate here again.
Quick and easy. It only took 2 hours for my first visit, which is saying something. The facility looks amazing. Clean and professional. Definitely way better looking then the eye sore the other place is.
Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and facility appears clean and welcoming.
The first few times were Iffy but i really needed the money. I went today and requested that they use my other arm the lady wasnt able to finda vein so she used my bruised arm. the needle wasn't secure and I started pooling blood she removed the needle and attempted to retry my other arm to give back my blood but wasn't able to An employee named DAVI ATTEMPTED TO HELP but instead proceeded to DIG in my skin Another employee informed her. My vein was not that far in SHE STILL poked hard enough to
First time donor. I'm so impressed by this staff. Everyone I have come into contact with has been extremely friendly. This facility is very clean and they take all precautions when handling everything. I will definitely be returning to donate at this location.
Very pleasant experience. They have several layers of informed consent you must go through so you feel very informed and safe by the time you start donating. They do everything they can to make you comfortable and ensure you are not pressured to donate. Super nice and friendly staff.
First time Donating, my brother suggested me to come donate. I have to start off by saying I'm so impressed by this staff. Everyone I have come into contact with has been extremely friendly. They have been sure to answer and go over any questions, helping and providing any and all help they can. This facility is very clean and they take all precautions when handling everything. I will definitely be returning to donate at this location.
My name is Chasity Failey and If I could rate zero stars I would!!! This place doesn't even deserve one star. I have never been here to give blood. However my Blind husband Antonio Failey, is trained to travel he is ADA certified. He goes to the gym right next to the blood bank. Well they have a sign out on the sidewalk advertising their business but it's blocking the whole sidewalk!! My husband and several employees from the Planet fitness gym where my husband goes every day have asked them to move t
This plasma donation centers is one of the best I've been to by far. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and professional, and they don't take their time trying to get you in and out. From the moment you show up they make sure the process moves efficiently and smoothly. Definitely a pleasant experience at this center.
This was my first time donating. The staff was so helpful in walking me through the entire process beforehand. The facility is new and so clean. Couldn't have asked for a better first visit!
I've been donating for a little over a month and the staff here are absolutely wonderful. Each and every one I have had interaction with have been very professional and extremely friendly.
I had a heck of a time getting started due to needing medical authorization from doctor, etc. The team was super professional and was concerned with my safety and well being, which I appreciated very much! Highly recommend. Staff super friendly!
I've been waiting to hear from them to go back but every time I call the nurses is reviewing a new donor and they're doctors doesn't finish there paper work. Even when it's there mixup. So don't get bused and if you do do t go back Intel it's gone or you have to set and wait Intel they finish there job. My arm was brused from there personal. I know when you have a needle put in. There us a good chance of a buse.
The wait times at goose creek have gotten horrible. I have been waiting over an hour just to get seated. They need more staff!!
Cheyenne, Jennara, Jennifer, Abby, Yolanda, Cindy, Kylie, and Fayevette were absolutely AWESOME and made sure that my first experience here went by without a hitch and were just all around great to hang out with while I went through the donation procedure! This process is all brand new to me but they made me feel so welcome and I'll definitely be back to donate again!
I've had a great experience here. New donor process does take time but it's worth it. The staff is very welcoming and everyone is so friendly. The staff in the donor area are attentive always ! Highly recommend
Don't even waste your time at this place. If you have ever had anything on your background even from over 5 years ago they will ?permanently defer? you causing you to never be able to donate anywhere ever. If you visit the hospital for any reason you better have follow up paperwork from a primary care doctor. If you go get that paperwork they will try tell you it's fraudulent? until they call and see they're wrong. Talk about judgmental. Cynthia is the one that is the worst. The treatment from them is absol
The ADMA team is awesome! All are friendly. All are respectful. All are patient. Come check them out!
The staff is very friendly caring and timely, they respect their clients so much and make you feel as comfortable as possible. I recommend them to anybody , definitely come give your donations with ADMA !!!
The facility is very clean and everyone is very nice and welcoming. The staff is very knowledgeable. This was my first time donating and I felt very comfortable. I will definitely be returning.
I donated 3 times with no issues. The staff was amazing and the workers were always professional. I came in to donate for the 4th time and was told I would no longer be able to donate due to ? information told to them by someone?. I know exactly who this person was who told them this information which turned out to be false, it also had nothing to do with me or my donations. The person who gave them this information is a close friend of mine and they received a ?false positive? and was extremely depressed a
Shelby is absolutely amazing!! All of the staff treat you like family and the facility is clean and love the music they play!! Definitely recommend ADMA
You even get 5$ if you make a Google review? Wow 5 stars!
Walked in to become a new donor. Everyone was nice and patient in taking care of me even though they were busy. Thank you guys. Definitely recommend this place. Located near me also so very convenient.
Amazing staff! Everyone is very friendly and willing to help and show you how everything works. Facility is very clean and organized. I highly recommend!
Staff is 50/50 depending on who you get really, some will bruise your arm and re stick you multiple times others are quick and gentle barely feel the needle, I'm only leaving a review now cause they've been closed for a week due to "computer issues" and nobody can answer the phone and give a more detailed description of what's happening
The facility is new and very clean looking. The staff has been very Nice and professional. I recommend if you live in the area and donate plasma they have great compensation and bonuses.
My husband Wesley Walton was turned away fir 3 months on his 2nd visit due to small marks made by this facility. It is completely deplorable & wrong to be not taking any responsibility for his inability to donate due to no fault of his own.
This place is great!!! Literally every single staff member has been an absolute pleasure! I recommend them to anyone who's looking to donate plasma! Lots of great bonus opportunities to earn extra money too!
Nice and friendly organization and staff.
I have never donate plasma before. They make it very easy and help you understand things that sound complicated. After everything was said and done it was fast and easy. They staff is great and friendly. I will be coming back.
This place is a one of a kind. They are all so friendly and treat everyone very well. I would recommend everyone to ADMA Biocenter if they were interested in donating plasma. Makes you feel if you're part of a family
Very fast CLEAN!! Good cause and friendly staff. Up to date donation chairs with personal television's. Lots of extra ways to earn more than just the regular donation amount. Bonus's!!
I am impressed by the thoroughness and professionalism. This review gives me a reward from the clinic, but my star count of 5/5 would not change if I were doing this for free.
Very clean, professional and comfortable facility and experience. Staff is very polite and attentive. By far the best donation center I have visited.
Nice and friendly organization and staff.
Very professional, very well run. Spotless and clean center, personable and thorough staff. Andie and Fayvette were awesome. Smooth new donor experience.
Always a good experience at Adma!! I loveee Rose she is the best!! Thank you as always :)
I was permanently deffered due to taking insulin as a diabetic. This was after an hour of doing other tests and forms. I have done research and taking insulin has nothing to do with donating plasma as long as your diabetes is under control and you do not take bovine insulin. However, if this is simply a company policy then it should be a question on the beginning questionnaire or on their list of unacceptable medications instead of wasting an hour of my time when I told everyone from the beginning that I wa
Great way to help and earn money. Very nice people here as well. Definitely coming back often. Would recommend it to others to look for something to do ??
I feel most of the employees here are nice, it's clean and way better then other centers I've been to in north Charleston.
Great experience! Everyone was kind and friendly, the building was clean, and the staff was thorough, but efficient. Recommend!
ADMA BioCenters has a great environment amd great plasma donation center. The staff is very welcoming and very helpful. it was my fist time donating and they made me feel welcomed.
Wonderful staff and a great experience! They answered all of our questions and made the process very easy. I will be returning!
Staff is amazingly friendly, the facility is clean, individual TVs at each donation station, and great bonuses for donating! Much better than the other plasma donation centers in the area!
Great staff. Very professional and quick. In and out faster than any other plasma donation center that I've been to. Great new donor compensation as well as for returning donors.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
