Went in for my first 2 times this last week. 1st time was supposed to take about 2 hours but didnt seem that long. Quick and easy process. The staff are very nice, professional and make you feel comfortable. They check on you as you're donating every few seconds to make sure you are doing ok. Highly recommend this location if you want to donate plasma
I am submitting an updated review. Over the past several months (6+) the company has improved the employee retention, reduced hours to help keep staff from staying too late (good thing), and has been consistently keeping my total out the door time in under 2 hours total. Most visits are under 1.5 hours total from time I walk in, screening, through my donation, and walking out. Staff are still usually very friendly and some regular donors are even pretty funny. Overall I would recommend, especially if you a
Very clean facility. Great staff but Logan is the best. He is always kind and gentle during the entire process. Total time for first visit is up to 4 hrs and second visit is maybe an hour of your time. Totally worth it for the money you can make donating twice a week. Helping others and getting paid. Great plasma sourcing is done at ADMA!
Since they updated their hours to be closed on weekend wait times have dropped drastically. The staff seems to be happier and more friendly. It's not perfect but they try and of the two plasma places in town this one is much better. I like going first thing in the morning at 6 then going to work afterwards it works good for me.
Been going here for a year or so now! Was GREAT when we first started! Now they wanna close on Saturday and Sunday knowing people work and have children in school until 3:30! Was told to come back THIS SATURDAY drive all the way here to the doors locked and them closed?!? There communication here is TERRIBLE!! They lack skills when it comes to COMMUNICATION! Husbands heart rate was high, so he had to retest and he asked to go outside and come back in a few minutes THE LADY SAID THATS FINE! he comes back ins
This.place is so awful..from the rude staff to the forever long wait times. The staff is always short handed (which tells me how greedy adma is) two people on the entire floor. When will the community wake up and run this scam out of town??
Wait times are too long. Wait to be seen to tell you if you're able to donate. And wait time to be called to the chair to actually donate. Some employees better than others at sticking the needle. Some seem preoccupied. Need more employees to make the whole process move quicker. Otherwise certain times of the day and certain days should be avoided. However I have not found out when those are.
Went in for my first time ever donating and was met with extreme waiting with no one guiding me on what to do next. Other new donors took it upon themselves to try to do the next steps themselves. Receptionist lady came out blazing mad and talked down to all of us in a very unprofessional manner. I walked out. A few good samaritans attempted to calm down the receptionist and get her to understand she cannot talk to us/about us like that and I just got up and left. Very unprofessional. Very rude. I can't bel
I'm sure this place is nice if you could actually get in. First time there I signed in and waited. No one was at the front desk. 2 different times 2 different women came out and looked at us sitting there and said nothing. Didn't look at the log in book either. I sat there for over 30 mins waiting for anyone to at least come speak to me. The security officer at the front said someone should be there. Waited a bit longer and nothing. Tried calling and there is never an answer. Huge disappointment ??
This past Saturday, April 27th, I got there at 6:30am (right when the doors open). A bunch of us stood outside waiting and waiting and an employee came out and told us they could not open until a nurse got there and the nurse was running late. I stood out there for 52 minutes past opening time, until I finally had to leave at 7:22am and no longer had time to donate. I don't have any idea what time the doors were finally opened but I wasted all that time for absolutely nothing. Was unable to wait even longer
Everyone is very friendly and they know their jobs. Very clean. Just need a little background music
I've completed my 1st 3 visits and am returning for a 4th, today, and I have to say that overall I've been pleased. The pay has been accurate and as advertised by the staff, the facility is well maintained, orderly, clean, and the staff have been very professional and accomodating. Though the staff has been kind and friendly, for the most part, I will say that I noticed a bit of a difference in their demeanors between the 2 of 3 visits I had when their inspectors were on site (very bubbly and extra welcomin
I like the place and love the staff However the second donation has went from 80 to 75 instead. They are having a raffle with restaurant gift cards instead. That extra 20 per person per month goes much further toward food for everyone donating than 3 people winning a stinking gift card. What a rip off!
One star is required to leave a review, otherwise it'd be a zero. I stuck it out long enough to finish out the new donor promo. Each employee I encountered was TERRIBLE. On the very first visit, Marissa had a terrible convo with another employee about someone she knew with PTSD from deployment and she thought he should get over it already because it had been 4 years.. Excuse me? Laura/Laurie is so ROUGH. She shoves the needle in and yanks it out. Zack seems like he's scared of his own shadow and has to have
Staff is nice but the equipment needs an update. Many of us clients are seeing" high return pressure " on the display and I'm sure there has to be a fix to this on going issue.
I started going to ADMA yesterday, and I'll admit I was a bit worried because of all the negative reviews. I encountered many different people as it was my first time and I had to do all of the testing and physical. From the lady at the front desk that checked me in, to the nurse that tested my plasma, to the nurse that did my physical, to the super sweet ladies that were working in my pod.. they were ALLLL fabulous! I will say I went Monday and they kept telling me to come back in a hour and I just didn't
If you ever have a reaction and refuse an ambulance you will get a permanent deferal for doing so even though you are never informed it's mandatory
The wait times are atrocious, if you have nothing else to do that day you can spend 3-4 hrs there. 75% of that time will be spent in a full waiting room. The workers are great it is the only reason the place score as high as a 3.
Staff are very unfriendly and rude. Definitely would not recommend. I suggest go to. Adma.?
I absolutely love the staff at this location. The customer service is amazing and every-time I come to donate; they always get things done in a timely manner. They are well organized and very professional. I want to take an extra second to Bragg about one of the staff members in particular His name is Renan and he by far has been one of the best. He was very welcoming, friendly, supportive, timely and well knowledgeable: He took such great care of me this last time and I am so appreciative of him and the ex
Update: They get better then worse. I have been coming for about 1 year and as of right now I am super frustrated, between 4 hour waits and don't get me started on trying to call them. I have called 18 times and counting throughout the day cause I was supposed to get $135 for my donation and only got $40. I don't have the money to go down there to get this fixed but I know the fix takes 5 min. If you wait too long to get it fixed they can't fix it. I feel bad harassing them but if I go in frustrated they wi
So far, I've been here two hours, and a needle hasn't even grazed me in yet. Quit running your mouth and do your job. If I tell you it's too tight, it hurts and isn't feeling right, then fix it. I've done this a lot. I know what it's supposed to feel like when we it's right. One more visit to get my final payment as a new donor, then I'm done with them. Going back to KED
I gave 3 because most of the staff are amazing and hard working but this letting new donors skip ahead is ridiculous! Anywhere you go, you are taken care of when you arrive. Dedicated donors should not have to be pushed back for new donors! I wasn't. And the calling out of staff members are ridiculous too as it overwhelms the other staff. I understand people have to as people get sick or family emergencies but this is ongoing daily. But as far as the staff-most are keeping a good attitude regardless on how
The staff is really rude. I came in on the weekend and was told they would not accept new donors. I complained to Alicia, the childish AA lady with golden studs on both nostrils and she started arguing with me over the fact I was a new donor and could not be accepted. I was complaining because I was told over the phone that I could go in and be assisted as a new donor and I also looked online and it said that they accept new donors on the weekends and she sat there giggling with another associate by the nam
Just finished my 4th donation in two weeks and everything has gone very smoothly. The initial visit took about 3.5 hours (which I expected) and subsequent visits took 1.5 hours or less. Ms. Paula at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Clean, modern facility and (generally) friendly staff. Compensation always received before I leave the premises. Overall, very happy with my experience with ADMA so far.
Given 1 star because i had to .. when i say don't go here, DO NOT GO HERE.. used to go last year and stopped for a few months because of how terrible my bruising and the number of times i had been infiltrated time after time. i returned to give this place another try being that it's been months later i assumed there would be new employees and a better experience.. boy was i wrong and wrong-er then ever before? my first day back i told them i had a tetanus shot during my time away so i was deferred until the
update I'm a new returning donor and I'm always having problems with getting my money they always have to adjust my payment and sometimes it takes up to a day to receive my money and went yesterday on 1/17/2025 and brought my cousin with me to become a new donor and I have to help her write and sign things cuz she has Frederick attaxia which is something similar to Ms and this one lady was giving us a hard time didn't get her name cuz it wasn't on her name badge (which tells me something not right right the
First time donating with information for those considering.. I arrived around 9am where there really wasn't many people at all and left a bit after 12pm. I highly recommend first time donors show up EARLY for the fastest experience because by 11pm on a Monday it started getting busy! The whole process was easy, informative, and friendly. Your only job before you show up is to eat a big meal and drink plenty of water. While I was waiting I noticed a man become nasty with the front desk after being rejected
To the staff member that told me I should receive 100 dollars for new donors that come in . I haven't donated over a year and i was classified as new donor , now after I get the card after you donate plasma. It only was $40.00. What kind of establishment are yall running? Rude and unprofessional, now liers???? What the hell is wrong with the staff? Now cutting us short now
After spending over 2 hours waiting and being there longer than any other customer by at least a half hour, they inserted 7 new people in front of me. I was returning after a deferment of 5 weeks because they blew out veins in BOTH arms. Good luck.
I was a regular donor trying to get my first month bonus payments. I donated one day and the nurse spent a long time trying to stick me. She even told me she was nervous she wasn't going to get it. She got the needle in, but then there was an error and her superior had to come fix the needle. They moved the needle around a lot in my arm. Halfway through donation blood began leaking out of my arm and they had to remove the needle and stick my other arm. I had no issue with this, but the next day had an enorm
Extremely disappointed, after my first time giving they had a technical issue that closed this location for two weeks. I showed up multiple days to give to no avail. No information on when they would reopen, if at all. I returned 5 days after they reopened and gave, after the fact they wouldn't honor my first month rate even though there was no possible way for me to do so in that time frame. The refused to make any adjustment despite my efforts and reasoning. This is most likely a corporate issue since th
I gave 2 stars simply because the staff is very friendly and I never had issues with them however the new donor system is a joke. With the way they operate their hours it makes it very difficult to make it back sometimes being 45 minutes away. My 30 days fell on a day that they were closed (Monday) and I was out of luck on getting the $150 bonus after I went all the way to my last donation only to come up a day short due to them being closed on Mondays. Be very careful on how they stick you because if you b
Very clean facility and management has always addressed my concerns. However, the payouts have always been inconsistent or wrong. I stopped donating for these headaches. I received a call to return and was promised these issues had been corrected. I have donated again twice since that call. Both times pay was incorrect. Wait times have improved but the fight to get corrected payouts isn't worth my time.
Great staff and smooth at sticking. Power outages bringing down machines, reduced payment amounts. Plus they are understaffed in the mornings. Need to bring in coverage till they can hire/train.
There are some very nice staff members at ADMA. That being said there are also some very rude staff that act like they could care less if you actually donate at all. Major problems after getting screened and beginning the donation itself. I have been 6 times and only stayed to donate 3 of those 6. Not because they are busy either. Overall because a lot of staff that just dont care and lack of management. Who is in charge?Anybody at all! Nothing at all l can say good about my experience. If u like wasting
Ghetto as hell . Rude . Only one person in there was maybe nice . Wasted my time. Had be fill out a lot of paper work then a questionnaire when the questionnaire was all that mattered.
worst effing place EVER. the guy popped my vein and LEFT for the day, then another woman proceeded to stick me in the other arm, leaving the tube dangling until they could fix his other mistake of tightening the tubes too much. i lost so much blood that they never returned to me and the service was never completed, they just told me to leave. still haven't gotten my money and i just wanna say I HATE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!! not worth $100 for a hematoma in my arm
Been donating for over a year now at ADMA, not impressed overall. - long pre chair wait times(30-90 minutes after being screened) - inconsistent compensation - high staff turnover rates resulting in understaffing issues(would probably explain long wait times) - have to call to make an appointment if you're coming late in the day or early morning(made an appointment for the next day at 6pm, show up and find out appointment was made for the day I called and not the day I requested. No solution offered by man
If it wasnt for the wait, and the company not caring to hire more people, I would give 5 stars. The ladies and gentleman inside these 4 walls are amazing. The place is very clean, never issues with that. Most everyone there is great, but the 2 ladies I love the most are Leah and Kori. They take their time and listen, they are patient but work efficiently. They do not mess around. A lot of the ladies on the floor that are newer are very slow, they do not know how to work as efficiently. When your busy at wor
Serious staffing issues make coming here a hassle. My first visit was 3 hours as expected, everyone was very friendly and I had generally no issues. But I've come 3 times since then and every time I've been here 3+ hours just waiting to get in a chair. They just lowered the compensation to match a competitors in town, go there instead. You'll be paid the same but you'll only have to spend an hour of your day instead of 3.
This place is a JOKE!!! My boyfriend has been 3 times total. Was told the first 4 donations are 100$ each, well the first two times he went was only paid 40$ when he called and went there to talk to someone management wasn't available. The third time he went to donate waited 3 hours donated and wasn't able to receive his blood back so wasn't paid at all. And not allowed to donate for 21 days. The fact he didn't get his blood back should effect payment. Don't waste your effort going here this place is poorly
Never have too many issues here. Sometimes needles need to be moved and the techs are always willing to help and make sure you can finish your donation. I had a bruise once, likely because I didn't hydrate properly the day before and the needle had to be moved a lot. Next time that week I was told I could donate with the other arm but if they had to restick me and I couldn't get my red cells returned I would be deferred for 8 weeks. I had hydrated really well so I took the risk and had no issues. 2nd month
Place is horrible the front desk girl was rude. Said my wife couldnt donate cause we rent a apartment at a hotel! Then said she needs a lease agreement to donate plasma. Place is a joke it was 3 of us going to donate there but we will just go to the other place.
I've donated more than 60 times in the past with other plasma centers and never had a problem. I moved to the area recently and decided to try this center. I was deferred here day one due to my mental health, despite my medication not being on the list of medications they don't allow. Extremely disappointed in this center.
The drug addicts asleep in the parking lot is a nice touch ?
My experience was with the front desk person only, no medical staff. I went to your facility located off Legends Rd in South Carolina on Friday to donate. I talked to a young man about donating. I did not have my SS Card with me but he looked at my DL and said I had time to return that day. I never returned until today Sept 12th, Monday. There was a girl at the desk this time. She told me I could not donate because I was beyond the age limit. I had to ask her what the limit is? She said 65! I'm 66
The screening process is really fast. The staff is great. The pay out is good for now, hopefully the rates will increase next month and I love the personal tv sets on every bed.
I just donated on 11th of November and I was supposed to get 115 when I got home 2 hours later I only had 40$ giving to me so please fix my amount that was giving to me please thanks have a blessed day
Clean plasma center. Waits are long (1-3 hours) if you get there at an awkward time. Decided to donate plasma this month and after I get paid out one more time I'll never return. Workers are incompetent and clearly can't stick a needle properly because I have bruising still on my arm and it's been 6 days. Was in complete pain with blood going everywhere in the middle of donating. ADMA messed up my pay, so in a calm manner I asked the nurse at the front why my pay wasn't accurate? the lady (PAULA) falsely ac
I know life gets in the way and sometimes we lose track of time, but when you call to verify if you are still within your 30 days and you are told, by their staff, that your payment for the day will be "X" amount and that I am within the 30 days, i should feel confident that what they tell me is correct. So I went and donated and only received a 3rd of what was owed and called to ask to see what happened, the girl Katie lied and said something else. I will never go back here. What a waste of time and it's
Most abysmal wait times? literally sit for 3-4 hours before getting in a donation chair.. on a Tuesday night.. y?all really should just close down for a day or two or more and hire more staff.. this is ridiculous. really frustrating especially after already working a 10 hour shift..
Pay attention to their terrible rating and if you absolutely have to go here for money make sure you just lie through your teeth or they will waste countless hours of your time for no reason at all. Say no to ever even looking at any of the medications on their list because they'll flag you and you can't donate because of a medication you mentioned of 20 years ago. I would not recommended to anyone, they're all brand new or act like it in the whole office.
Very professional and personable staff along with a well maintained facility. The deep vein specialists Ms Wanda and Ms Paula have inherent natural talent for a very pleasant jab,and great bedside manner. #WORTHTHEIRWEIGHTINGOLD
Very professional... good people amd staff..
The staff at this place is amazing. The management however is doing something terribly wrong. High turnover of staff, long waits, slow internet? they have plenty of donors to pay staff more and keep them, but it seems like management does not care about their staff.
I'm sitting in the facility they lobby full of people and staff talking on there phone looking at pictures, using the same gloves that she used handling her phone to set a donor up and stick them with a needle, so unprofessional and bad unsanitized area ?? so sad even a nurse was on the floor talking and looking at Pictures, staff Marissa talking not changing her gloves, putting clean gloves over dirty gloves I'm sitting in the bay watching her they bought me back here I've been sitting for over 25 minu
I had done my first donation 3 weeks ago, My arm still had a bruise on it, because the first time I donated the needle wasn't put in right. So my arm started to fill up with blood. I tried to go back again an all I got was a oh we are sorry but you can't donate again till the bruise is all the way gone. So not only did they give me a huge Hematobium in my arm filled with blood . Now I can't get any of the new donor money because by the time I can come back the 30 days will have passed.. I feel like there sh
What a joke. The nurse that gives the physicals is so mean. She told me that I looked like I had a stroke and denied me after I had been there 3 hours already. It was my day off and I was thinking, why not? I can make some extra money and help some people at the same time. Well......I had Bell's Paulsey 40 years ago as a child and she was so unprofessional in her demeanor asking why my face was drooping on one side. Mind you, no one else even my ppo has asked me about this. I cried in the parking lot. She d
The people who work there are rude, they have no personality. And mis-sticks, bruising at the pu.cture site are common, whixh will defer your next donation, messing yp your schedule if you dont take steps to mitigate it. And forget trying to get a straight answer out of them on getting back on schedule.
The security guard that you guys have was very rude saying that I'm a weekly donor have been coming here for almost 4 years always been early for the opening said to me that he can't have me in the breeze way at all when he is supposed to the security guard for ADMA only not the whole complex next time I have a smart remark from him I will be calling corporate or your local office for details for your guy
I don't understand why they reduced the money. from $150 and $50 to $80 and $40. You're alienating your regular donors. You give your first time donors a $1000 for 1 month. And you are reducing the amount that a regular long time donors are getting. plus paying for gas or taking a bus is not cheap???
For the returning new donors, we should not have to wait all day for the rest of our funds. You got all my plasma at once Went at 10 and it's 6 and still waiting
Clean, friendly, efficient, I could go on, and on. Staff is comforting and professional. Nanette and the others (wish I remembered all their names). Walked me thru the process with smiles and compassion. Little to no wait. A One business!!
Everytime I go here I regret it the people are nasty they act like the money comes out of there pocket The only nice person here is keke and verybody else is nasty and rude all the supervisor do is talk about getting off and not helping people if they put the needle in wrong they don't try to change it they will push it in further and your arm will swell from the pain not only do you go through all that but they will short your money or find ways around the pay out don't waste your time never would I recom
Very disappointed went in at 4:30 to do my first donation and they close at 7 and they denied me said they aren't doing anymore donations today. When I walked over 20 mins to get there. Was a waste of time in my opinion. Also called earlier to make sure what time to be there before they closed. And what I needed. They said before 5. Very disappointed.
Probably one of my worst experiences at any business period a waste of time and the staff were rude and improperly trained
Have been coming here for a few months and the wait times are still horrible..usually a 1.5 - 2 hr wait too be called and then usually another hr to donate..but if u have atleast 3 hrs too spare then u will be ok..they said call ahead i did that several times was told we r not buisy and it still took 2.5 hrs to get in and out..time too find a new plasma center
wasted 2.5 hours of my day because they didn't think to ask about how recent my tattoos were and you have they have to be 4 months old to donate. very disappointed
I would have picked no stars but it will not let me pick none I have done all that they wanted me to go to this physical they wanted me to go get paperwork from my doctor I've done it they've lost itAdministrator doesn't want to come and talk to nobody I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone they pay alot less than grifal plasma. I can't stress enough that adma is a horrible place to go
Wayyyy better than Ked plasma. Nice facility and pretty friendly staff (for the most part). They get you in and out most of the time but sometimes an hour donation turns into 3 hours because of the wait.
After today I will never go back I got there at 12:30 and 6 people went in front of me and they got there after me. Definitely don't recommend!!
Never lets donors know of closures or changes until they're on site. Donation only takes maybe 45 min but the wait had been upwards of 3 hrs, becoming a waste of time amd energy
Much nicer than my experience with the local alternative. Friendly staff and I like that they show and explain everything to you as you progress.
40$ 1st visit, 70$ 2nd. Bonuses on top of that is 20$ on 6th visit, 20$ on 7 visit and 40$ on 8th visit. So in one month of 8 donations you can make 520$. That's after the initial 1000$ new donors earning for first month
Did not honor 50 referral bonus. Called about it 5 or 6 times and always told management will return my call. I hope they get hacked again.
The last 3 times I've only gotten $40. Then I checked my card as I was leaving and only received $33.
I'm a new donor and the last 2 times I have been they are under staffed and raciest I had been sitting in the back waiting to get stuck and they sit someone beside me and stuck them first management is poor poor poor
They are rip offs and they don't pay you the right amount ! your better off going to kedplasma, they give you $125 without the ?30 day limit? adma also don't count the days they deferred you so it's just a waste of time
This was the worst experience I have ever had donating plasma. The front desk receptionist was the rudest woman I have met in a While. Needs to find a new job, absolutely unacceptable.
You are incredible with your procedure, I have a problem today with my right arm that you can't get the blood and try many time with the needle stick and cause I refuse to use my left ( cause one time I use with you and I have a problem a big bruise I get deferral for two week) they said by instructions of the manager I have to return on next Monday I don't know why so much time if I can return tomorrow or Friday, sincerely you guys have a really poorly customer service for all your clients
Still bruised almost 3 weeks after first donation? decent experience otherwise with most of the staff
I went back and found out the person i needed to talk to was on vacation, i spoke to her and she was more than happy to help me, I guess I just needed to show some patience on my side my apologies to you guys you did a wonderful job and I thank you all very much
This is place is awesome worth the wait. Love the staff. And hey just seen this photo of me check out ya boi!!! (Pssst in the red)
They need to train the staff better my brother's arm was Bruised bad, all they said was sorry and he had to wait 3 weeks before he could donate plasma again and all he got was a sorry.. Train you staff better
Seems very professional. Since I take prescription sleep meds I need Dr release. People were nice
They do not allow donations if you live in an apartment building. They were super rude and kept cutting me off as I was trying to explain I lived in an apartment building as a permanent resident of the building.
No one answers the phone!! Takes donors up to age 65. The other place takes up to 69
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
