I've been donating here for Years. For the first time, I had what is called a ?cell loss?. Instead of the phlebotomy techs telling me that I won't be able to donate for over a month; I was told to come back in 2 days for my regular donation period. Upon coming back, I waited for over 20 minutes and then was told about the ?cell loss? & that from June 25 until August 8th, I can not donate. i am a new donor.. i was here last week after making an appointment at 8:40 and was told they couldn't see me because they were short staffed after so many people called out.. i come back today after making an appointment at 8:10 it is now 10 and i still haven't even gotten a physical because they are ?short staffed? and the nurse is helping with screening? i asked how many new donors was here she said just me, so i asked her could the nurse just get me out the way and go back to screening and she said she

They falsified my medical documents in order to leave work earlier. Which is an open and shut lawsuit. Then had the nerve to tell me right to my face that they falsified the documents. Overall it's okay but they talk and play around too much for my liking. this one particularly red hair girl with glasses, every time she screens me I fail and get defer for a week due to my protein being too low. My iron u can understand because I do need to get more greens and stuff but I know for a fact my protein is good. And it's always her when she screens that I fail that can't be a coincidence.

Today, was my first time donating at this location. The phlebotimist that set me up today, Chanel, was really great. Super friendly and professional. She did such a great job sticking me, that I promise I didn't even realize that she had already done it. I felt nothing. No pain nor discomfort whatsoever. She was very understanding and willing, to work with requests. As far as my preferences and the scar tissue that I have on 1 arm. That willingness made for a speedy and smooth session. 36 minutes in fact.

I love this center the staff is great they are always polite and very helpful I can only recall one bad experience but like I said the staff are great well my bike was stolen and the staff know me so well one of the higher ups compensated me very well when she didn't have too so I'll always have nothing but good to say and I actually have become good friends with a few of the staff.... i had been goin to a different place to give plasma (not too many to get confused by) and this is BY FAR a superior experience in so many aspects. firstly this clinic is APPOINTMENT BASED, whether you are new or returning. so that means NO LINES! which increases the feeling of safety and cleanliness, so i appreciate that a lot. the front desk is clean and the lady was nice. the lobby is bright and has enough seating but it doesnt look like it gets crowded. i went as a new donor and the process took a minute

Awesome place when you're short on cash, since the old crew has left the team members are much better and it's a happier place. Finally no arguing. Also, now we can get direct deposit or add cash on our card just like you do with cash app. I'm still waiting for tv's or speakers to be placed in the bldg. You can always switch the music up. Bathrooms are much cleaner, tired of bathroom door.

Great location, never had a single issue with staff here, other consumers will be your issues never the staff. Any time I have had a question Robin at the front desk has always been helpful and she always goes above and beyond. She is kind, courteous, and very respectful. She is one of the main reasons I continue to use this site. Definitely a favorite staff person here.

The staff at this location is great. The best time to come I would say is early in the morning. It's a guy named Anthony here (everybody asks for him) that sticks excellent. Never any bruising or pain. It's a lot more people here experienced at what they do and do everything well I just don't know their names lol. Yeah this location is great

Hey I been donating at armingo center for a few weeks now! An I can say the staff are All amazing the front desk girl is the best. She is very helpful and nice! Donating is fast you be in an out. An I have not had one person mess me up by sticking, never I love the energy in the whole center! An if you guys are looking for a housekeeper to keep the center cleaned on a daily basis. I would be glad to come along on the team. This place is the best. They so friendly

If you are looking to give Plasma and get compensated I highly recommend this location. The staff is friendly and well trained.There are times when it can be busy, but I believe over time this will be addressed. This may also be a good career path as well. Many employees have risen in to management and training roles. Great location!

I go twice a week, so far three times I've been told I lost 7-10 lbs between the two day wait, which is physically impossible. Now I get a new guy who didn't remember to take the blood pressure and defers me cause says my protein is down more than half from two days ago when I had chicken last night,same meal my friend had that's donating now. Took 2 needles to stick and 20 mins. Need new training. The only thing good about the place is the girl Stephanie. Not only a beauty who gets the bp up so you're done

Every time i go there I get stuck for the pre exam with some light skin girl with a tacky cheek piercing and tattoos, she's rude, unprofessional, unwelcoming and not very customer service orientated. Tip: If you're unhappy at your job then change your situation, don't come to work and antagonize the customers. I can clearly see why several people I have spoken to in the waiting area have said they don't like her and hope she nvr calls them.

I've never had any problems. The staff is ok. They all seem competent. Downside is the cleanliness of the facility. The bathrooms are horrible, always dirty and never have paper of any kind. Most of the building is messy. If they hired someone to be there all day to just clean, this place would be 5 stars.

I donated for the first time at this location last Thursday. The staff was very professional (though I did wait awhile to see the nurse), and the guy who did the stick was awesome! Don't know his name but it was near closing and he was about to go home. I felt NO PAIN when he stuck me. I'll be coming back

First time at this location and was worried I would have a parking spot. That was not the case, there were plenty of spots. The staf were nice and pleasant. The lead nurse helped transfer my info from the Cheltenham because I was having and issue signing in. Afte he did his magic I went back very quickly and was in qns out in no time.

Tried to call about becoming a new donor and the person answering the phone was catatonic in nature. they went from un enthusiastic to yelling at someone in an instant. then when returning to the call he had completely forgot what I'd even asked. I was a new donor on my 3rd visit passed my vitals iron protein everything was great. Very clean polite and friendly staff make me feels so comfortable my first visit. And concerned when I was uneasy my first visit when you have staff that goes above and beyond with care and concern and respect it's a win win in my book.

I have been to this location about 5 times. 3 out of the 5 times. Other patients were called ahead of me on 3 different occasions. Only this time was it looked into but not corrected. Sometimes a person was 1 person behind me sometimes 2 or three places behind me. This is very inconvenient and unfair I get up early to stand in a line just to be called when the que and staff allow me to be called. This donation center so loud? They allow people to play their music on their phones really loud which is irritating. I'm the waiting area and when donating. No one uses their earphones and staff doesn't say anything. I thought it was one of the rules to use headphones or ear pieces. This is EVERY TIME I've donated. Staff skips over people. B positive plasma center is thee best place to donate your own plasma to the staff are amazing and very professional and I am willing to come back and donate anytime. I have been here maybe a few 10 times and the donation process was fine but the wait omg it takes forever and a day!! The restrooms NEVER have soap!! You don't know who is waiting for the kiosk and who is waiting for screening since there is no separation. I'm kind of hard of hearing so I'd appreciate if they had a better way of calling the next donor other than screaming your name from the other side of the wall. They fail to let you know things like you will be deferred if you go to the bathroom. They are ?allowed? to stick you with a needle and if you go use the bathroom or even get up you will not allow you back on machine. Also if your blood isn't returned you can't get back on nor be paid and will be deferred. Lack of communication, experience and the manager is off of drugs apparently.

Come here with my husband and I sit while he's seen. It's always dirty in thw bathroom and I mean you can come soon as doors open and the restrooms weren't clean from the previous day. Then it's a long line in the front which isn't bad because they process people in quickly but then 6ou have to wait in the back as well because of staff. Them bathrooms are vicious

Surprised that this place was a little more ghetto than I was expecting. Some people were professional and polite others were more interested in flirting with my husband than being polite ignored me to use their cell while getting vitals done and they yelled throughout the donation center having conversations about their personal lives. I was shocked. Wasn't all bad but I didn't go back.

The morning staff is absolutely lazy and unprofessional. They constantly refuse to call people for close to an hour after 10:15 while waiting for the 11 a.m. crew to begin work. Expect a 4 to 5 hour visit with up to an hour after to be paid. My advice is to avoid this place if you want to be treated as a human and donate at a different center.

I have made 10 prior donations with myleft arm. Today the tech and "Acting Manager" made me use the other which didn't work and when they went to switch the manager started backing out of it being her fault. She talked so much the thing closed my session. No apology and they needed to be threatened with the police to even pay me.

Out of all the centers I've been to, this is the dirtiest and takes the longest. Every time I come the bathrooms are dirty, half the computers don't work, and they never have enough phlebotomists to make the line go at a reasonable speed. Everyone just herds at the back of the room waiting for sometimes 2 hours until our names are screamed out with a bad attitude. AVOID and go somewhere else.

Your first visit doesn't feel as long as you might think. The staff are nice and professional. The area is clean and safe. Just drink plenty of water and stay away from any foods which deplete your iron levels. Also stay away from fatty foods.

Although things went smoothly, which is why I'm leaving four stars, i have to take one away because I was not able to donate due to small veins and they supposedly use a large 7 gauge needle which is impossible i was told to donate. I wish the checking of the veins or information about requirements for veins were done before everything else. It could save the staff and people time. Why would a new donor even consider going here. After reading the previous reviews, much improvement is certainly needed. Also, the only pay up to $400 for new donors, in the first 8 donations same as established donors. Other centers around Philly pay $850 for new donors in the first months donations. Avoid if you can. The staff clearly hate their jobs, are extremely unprofessional, and have no respect or consideration. Do not expect to sit down or get a drink or anything while you wait for hours. I've come in and tried to get the donation process started and each time they don't have a dr on staff to do a physical? I signed up about 2 1/2 months ago.. & whenever I'm off from work which is 3 days of each week , they don't have a dr. They say it's best to call and find out if there's a dr. The place is dirty.. Bathroom doors don't close. There's no toilet paper, no soap, and no paper towels. The counter staff is rude. There's not enough chairs.

I did meet some great employees there ... But overall it's it was a bad experience due to the girl at the front desk the heavy set African-American girl she was lethargic unresponsive to customers in the bathrooms there were not enough chairs ?? the computers was broken I said something to the girl at the front desk when they called me they said my protein levels was too low she just was retaliating for not being responsive at work at the front change your staff and it will change your reviews

I finished my donation today and left the aramingo center at 3pm it is now 6:49 almost 4 hours have passed and the center still has not posted my donation money I called on 4 separate occasions today only to be told that they were processing my donation and that I would be paid in a few minutes,this is the second time that they have done this I just don't like the fact they they lied to me all 4 times that I called .
