I've been donating at this site since they opened in late 2022. Within a few months, I became less than enthusiastic with some of the staff at that time, the limited (1 working) kiosk, the wait time & accuracy of compensation, so I went elsewhere. This past December, I decided to revisit this site. I'm pleased to see how much they have improved by addressing all of the prior issues & will continue to donate here exclusively. Keep up the good work ladies!
I have been donating at the Wilmington location almost 2 years, I see lots of post about long wait times and long delays getting paid out ..lol.. I have absolutely no clue what planet those folks are on . I have never been in there past 2 hours..95% of the time when I entered there was not more than 1 or 2 ahead of me..in and out within a hour .paid out within 20 minutes. the staff is extremely friendly and good looking ??.. never had a bad stick ..only deferred twice due to my protein being low..great pl
Misleading advertising for the new donor bonus. $200 first week only then a potential "up to" $130 a week (same as repeat donors) . Staff is friendly. Short wait times. Update 2/13/25: payouts are even worse than before. Currently receiving $75 for 2 donations a week., which is horrible. But that is the only bad thing I have to say.
Staff if short and very unfriendly you can call up to establishment 20 times and be lucky they answer once. Staff is very lazy and does not want to do their job they like to sit in back in gossip .
Honestly I was their very first done and the whole staff was extremely professional and respectful
The inside is stark white and way too quiet. I felt like a lab rat the moment I walked in. Also they are seriously short staffed which means the employees are doing more than 1 job and it shows in their performance. Sometimes it takes hours for compensation to post.
This place is nice and clean some of the staff is nice, nice except for the fact that they gypped me three times on my money on my payments and never gave it back to me. The first couple times I was there to get my payment, and then they turned around and never gave me my money. I was supposed to get $100 for a referral bonus that I haven't received yet for my son and he's donated more than three times and they didn't give it to me and then they short changed me $10 out of my money when I was supposed of go
!!!!!!DO NOT DONATE HERE!!!! Very lazy workers. All the women there act like they don't want to work at all, I waited over 2 hours to donate because apparently everybody went to lunch. Just overall incompetence and laziness not expected to see in any healthcare setting. Everyone needs to be fired
Nice and clean environment. I would have given them more stars. The workers there were so nice. It's so quiet and boring though in there. No music playing not even elevator music playing ?? No TV's. No news board. I know the employees are bored in there. Other than that it's great place. The hours are kinda short. I understand because the safety of the workers. But please need to add music or TV's. Maybe both or something. Ladies keep doing you thing in there. Stand strong ????
Staff is always very professional and courteous to me.I have donated at another place and it didn't compare to B Positive at all.B Positive gets me in and out of there in a short amount of time.Place is very clean also.
I am a donor in PA. The location is temporarily closed. I went to Delaware today and they wouldn't let me donate. I have donated about 20 times with B Positive and the appointment was for the first time. I went to Wilmington last Friday without an appointment and I could donated. Nobody told me that for the next donations it was required to make an appointment. In addition, it is important to indicate that when I try to make the appointment, the page always indicates an error. I hope someone can help me
The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. They put you through a rigorous physical when you first start, which I think is great so not just anybody could donate. But that's really as far as the good of it goes. Almost every time I get hooked up, I have "no flow" issues, which rarely occured at the other places I've been to. They say that could be credited to the amount of fat in your blood, but my diet has changed drastically since before I started donating here, and I eat a lot less fatty fo
Some unfriendly staff make for cold and unwelcoming environment. Was there for second weekly donation and was mis stuck, so I could not donate the second time for the week. No compensation at all I'm pissed!!
The wait time may be long but the ppl there are so sweet u get yo sit down etc. it's nothing compared to Csl where u have to stand for hours listen to rude staff ALL THE TIME and get paid barely anything. B positive pays me so much more then Csl, and their more comfortable then them it's a new site ppl need to relax and to be honest alot of those one star ppl are crack heads who get turned away. The place tells u how long the wait time BEFORE you donate as well as tells you the risk of donating like bruisin
I cant even make an appointment on their website. I am a new donor and I have been referred to this place and the first time I try to set up an appointment and it doesn't work. I get to the time page where I pick a date and time and nothing happens. I click on a date and nothing. I refreshed the page and nothing. I closed it out and started again and nothing. Not off to a good start.
Great place has a Cain and relaxing workers that sweet n caring, idk her name but the lady who works the front desk and lines is carry a kid and work the hardest and always has a smile for you, bad review is from people who got turn away n I have before but that was on me
The place is extremely clean, and the staff are patient and pleasant. Compensation for first time donors is high.
Rude, unhelpful staff that clearly does not want to be there. Worst B positive experience.
nice area but wait time is off the charts i suggest closing the place & hire more staff to make things run faster
Overall bad center always short staffed always slow . Just incompetent.
Very nice place nice people who work there give them a raise lol but the truth
When it comes to getting in contact the phone message box is full and no other number available
If I could give 0 I would my mother spent over 4 hours there told her her money would be on the card within an hour bruised her arm all up never received money
I like when 2 of the employees there take care of me
Went to the website and made an appointment. Came on appt day and they said I didn't have one. SMH
You guys treat me very badly, that's all I can say
This is my first day here and the service terrible please email me to make this right.
I was told by the operator from another location that the manager quit and the are closed.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
