I'm driving past a nearby location to get to this one in Arlington. My experience here has been good all around. The people I've encountered, from the front to the back, are/have been friendly/kind, the phlebotomist I had yesterday, Hayley, did her thing and was gentle while getting things handled. There's a young man I watched during my first visit Monday and Thursday (yesterday), who went around cleaning the beds after each donor left, and he also disconnected me after my donation was completed on Monday.
Today sat in silver for over 10 minutes waiting for an employee to come wrap me as well as the person next to me. Seemed like there was assigned sections but when it came to us being done the 3 ladies that had been in the section the whole time I was there, disappeared. I finally waved someone down to wrap me. I understand it is 7:45pm but 10 minutes is crazy as every employee walked by and the ladies section I was in walked by stuck another person, clicked on someone's machine that had stopped and walked b
The facility is super clean! The staff was so friendly and they made my entire experience as a first time donor, start to finish, a wonderful one. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend anyone interested in donating to make an appointment at this location!
Good money, but takes wayyyy too long to complete the first visit. I arrived at 10:45am, and did not leave until 2pm. Mostly understandable because of the required physical and screening; this could be mitigated, however, by allowing to divide the physical/first donation into 2 visits if desired by the donor. It took me 3 weeks to make my first donation because I didn't have 3-4 hours to give up. Aside from this one complaint, the staff was pleasant and helpful (except for one lady who seemed salty from a
Very professional , Clean & the Nurses are Gentle with the needle! Needless to say there online promotions help a lot but always be safe every body is different ??
I had a pretty good experience. Everyone was really nice and great at explaining. I usually always get bruised when I have blood drawn but the phlebotomist were gentle and kind. I was warned by paperwork beforehand that the first time does take longer and it did but everyone was doing their jobs with care and that's all you can ask for when you donate from a loving space.
Worst experience. They don't wipe down the beds or arm rests after each client. Then they take way too long. In take pretty quick. I say in the bed 15 minutes and decided to leave bcz they were not doing anything. It's almost like they feel like they are doing people a favor. That pisses me off. I don't like this location. A New manager is probably needed. Clean the darn beds. You're asking to give someone a Staph infection.
Worst experience ever. They had me there for almost two hours for no compensation, gave me 2 hematomas, and no explanation from the employee who was doing my donation. This was my first time donating plasma. When I went in there, they had me waiting for almost 2 hours. When it finally came to donate, the guy, a young African American with an Afro style haircut, was struggling a bit to find my vein. That should?ve been my first sign to get out. Then when everything was ready, it was going really smooth at fi
Most of the workers are nonchalant, non empathetic and hate being there. Except for the only white lady with blond hair (phlebotomist). She is so sweet and will explain the process very well. The nurses who do the physicals are also very sweet and knowledgeable. Overall it's an okay place they get the job done although they are discontent doing it. The first time coming here is a lengthy process though.
In 13 donations i have had 3 blood tests and I have been double stuck twice in the last 2 weeks. im also getting coupons for bonus in my email with my name on it that don't work and when i ask the center about it. They said that i don't qualify for it. GO FIGURE! I can't figure out why so many issues at this place. I have been donating for 4 years. i went to another place for just over 3 years never had issues like here.
The staff lie on people and the center manager backs them up, I was struggling to get my finger scan to read and then my phone rang , seffi the African lady timed out my questions ,then sent me to the nurse to finish my questions , the nurse said she didn't have time to help me and they deffered me , I brought someone with me so my pay out today would have been 140$ then they claimed I was causing a scene because I called seffi a liar ! The computer showed no questions answered according to the nurse
??I was really excited to donate here as I have been recently donating plasma and loving the experiences but... Well this company sucks so much. I should have lied on the questionnaire.. disqualified for having PTSD? For donating plasma??? Can't donate if I've even taken a single hit from any form of synthetic weed? Oh no, but vaping- smoking cigarettes, even smoking marijuana (in any other form) and drinking is all fine?? ?? You may say that It DOES matter if I've had synthetic weed, but if it did, tho
Attended first appointment. Veterans or any First Responders, beware, they will discriminate you for having PTSD. No where on their website does it say things like sleep apnea or PTSD can be reasons for inability to donate. Then check for veins, barely squeezed my arm to check and automatically it's a no because I expressed how identifiers like PTSD or a surgery in 2011 for sleep apnea would affect me from donating, after expressing my frustrations, it seemed everything was the excuse for denial. BE UPFRONT
Sarah did my physical. It was done as quickly as they could get to my but it was also done professionally and with care. Thise the hooked me up were also courteous and made me feel welcome, safe and respected. Overall pleasant experience!
It is clean, neat, the nurses are great and the techs but just a reminder to your screening techs that we can hear their conversations. Training someone new and talking about friends with benefits & how she worked illegally at 14 at Churchs Chickenisn't exactly appropriate conversations for training or for your clients to hear.
Hire people who are competent. Technician working with me damaged my vein; after she already had the needle in and clamped the tubing to stop blood flow, she then advanced the needle again and that's when I felt a sharp pain and my arm began to swell. She then played it off as my body created a hematoma when in fact they pushed through my vein. Then I was subsequent deferred for donating on my next visit due to the damage caused by the staff Update: @Biolife I already have on 2/7 and someone called and onl
I had a great experience at BioLife Plasma! The entire process was smooth, and the staff was incredibly kind and professional from start to finish. A few employees who I came in contact with Stevie, Angelique, and Faith were especially helpful and made me feel very comfortable. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Thank you for providing such excellent service!
It was an interesting experience for my first time. In a good way of course. They were gentle with me during the process. I will definitely be coming back to donate more!
Bethany was the best! It was easy to get started and everybody was super nice. Will be coming here all the time.
For as busy as this location is, I've always been able to get in and taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. Every one is friendly and caring and during my last appointment a couple of days ago, Ashley was the one to hook me up to the machine. She was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable before she left. I'd recommend this site to anyone looking to donate.
Great staff! The check in process for new donor was long but after that everything is quick! Got in at 11:30 finished at 1:46. Everyone was so friendly and explained everything in detail.
The Arlington center is a pretty decent and quick paced center compared to the few other locations I have been to. Only ever had one issue with getting bruised from needle stick and adjustments, and that was because they were training new people and i wish they would allow people to have a choice if they want a newbie poking them but other than that one time, (which caused me to miss a week of pay), i havent had any other issues. Von is one of the best phlebotomist there. I never feel any pain or have any p
Clean, friendly, and professional staff. Love the setup appointments as it makes the process much smoother and your not standing for what feels like an eternity.
Shout-out to nurse Maria who told me there's no such thing as major depressive disorder when she was asking me about my medical history. She needs a haircut. That's why she's nothing but a nurse at a plasma center, the lowest of the low. She will never be anything as respectable as a doctor or surgeon.
Stuff are very young don't have enough education and experience They try 2 times and hurts so bad and bleeding I fainted I have 2 mark left in my arm ?? Nurse said I have small vein that my fault I am mad shen didn't wanna pay too I just check my creadit They pay me $40 Why u don't hire nurses or people with good knowledge over there ????
A hematoma formed at the injection site during my donation it was not a reaction. No one told me I couldn't donate until the bruises were gone. I really expected better service but I will not be returning.
I have a positive review at first I take it all back. Last time I attempted to donate I can't come back for 8 weeks because of an employee at this location not knowing what she was doing. My blood return paused instead of adjusting the needle which usually works she said I would have to switch arms I was fine with that but she didn't close off the cord correctly causing blood to spill and me to be deferred. It's not fare that I can donate because of her mistakes. I've been to a couple different centers and
this location wasted an hour and a half of my time. they pulled me aside for a vein check to tell me I couldn't donate because of the fine, faint tattoo lines over my veins. no other plasma donation centers, nurses or phlebotomists ever have trouble hitting a vein in my arms with my tattoos but this place would not accept me.
Been here three times and everything's great! Shout out to Von. I couldn't even tell he stuck me. Pretty professional place.
The Arlington Center took forever to stick someone while they were in the bed for over an hour. It's not right for someone to just lay there and wait over an hour to be stuck so they can donate. My appointment was at 1:10 and I didn't get out of there till almost 4pm. Not a good way to show customer service and prioritize the people that came in first. They definitely need more practice on how to prioritize and manage the customers a lil more. The only good thing I got out of that was a tech name Ashley who
i did my 8th and final donation for the promotion bonus and i was taken care of by Ashley. If you find yourself in the care of her hands, expect really good hospitality and an infectious smile. I really appreciate the time, effort, and care she puts into taking care of me as well as explaining everything as she does it. I've had nothing but positive experiences with all the phlebotomists but Ashley sticks out to me.
This was my very first time donating plasma and I had such a great experience. Malissa took me to get my physical exam done and she was SUPER nice and made me feel very comfortable during the whole exam, even managed to crack a few jokes which made me feel a lot less nervous. Definitely planning on continuing to come here, love the atmosphere.
This is the worst plasma center I've been to in my life and I'm from Indiana. Every time I step a foot in this place I leave with blood clogs and ice packs. I was stuck in both arms and then deferred for three months because they failed to return my red blood cells, which wasn't my fault. I never refuse any treatments or sticks. They decided to defer me on their own so they took my blood and my plasma and deferred me. Also I have blood clots in both arms. Don't get me wrong. The people are nice but they are
By far the Worse biolife in DFW! Like the customer service ever here! They take their sweet time!!! They talk to each other more than gaining a repor with the guests!!! I mean take their sweeeewt time! HORRIBLE! Go to irving or nrh hell even Dallas location better than these ppl! Super Rude! Especially the African lady here who was pregnant! She the cult leader to this rudeness! 93% needs to be FIRED!!!!!! Irving is the best location for me!
I do not recommend going here. I went through the whole process of a new patient which took 2 hours to complete.Once I completed it and it was time for me to donate they told me my veins were too small. Which is bs because I've donated at other facilities with no issues. So basically I wasted hours of my time just to be told I couldn't donate when it was time for me to get in the chair. That's something that should've been checked out before I went through the whole entire new donor process.
Emily is the best!! I had a scheduling issue due to my name being spelled wrong in my initial visit that caused some confusion with me getting paid. Emily really went out of the way, she dropped everything she was doing to help me during a busy time. She was nice, composed and completely professional! Thank you Emily! It's refreshing to see someone with a great attitude and even better work ethic in 2024.
Just finished with my donation at this location and I got to say, amazing. Front was backed up a bit but when I got to the beds, experienced the BEST bedside manners from Mrs. Ashley! Walked me through the whole process and made sure I was comfy while donating. Best ?Sticker? ever!
This was my first time and when I went back to have my physical, the nurse I had was not friendly at all. She was a Hispanic lady that seemed irritated when you was asking me questions. I felt very uneasy. She asked me about my surgery history. As I was trying to remember dates, because I've had many, I could just feel her insensitivity. I wanted to walk out then but I just stayed. It came time to do the actual physical portion and it went all bad. Needless to say, I was elated when she said she would get s
I had excellent experiences during my first few visits, with prompt service each time. However, my recent visits have been less efficient, with waits of up to 40 minutes before being attended to. While all the staff members have been friendly and knowledgeable, there is room for improvement in time efficiency.
This place is highly untrained and unprofessional just because I have eczema they won't let me donate and all the employees look at my disgusted everytime I show up yall need to do a better job and informing your employees and skin issues it's not contagious it is just a dry skin problem I form your employees!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was my first time going yesterday to ever donate. The front staff were fine for the most part. The nurse Maria was extremely rude and while she was doing my physical . I struggled with raising my tongue and her exact words were ?I don't know what's wrong with you?. I was already experiencing anxiety while there and she made me feel uncomfortable. They really need to work on their customer service.
These guys are amazing at the Arlington location. My first time I was definitely nervous but the employees answered all my questions and a gentleman Stevie Ray walked me through from start to finish and they made me feel like I was family. Thank you to Stevie Ray and Angelica!!! You guys are awesome.
I've only donated a few times in my life and out of those few times I've had a few bad experiences ESPECIALLY on my right arm. The vein is not as prominent and has always given people trouble. However, Ashley was not only able to locate the vein but I barely felt it go in! It was perfect. Hands down the BEST experience I've ever had donating blood. She just looked like she knew what she was doing and carried herself in such a confident professional way. I missed her today because I came on her lunch break
After being evaluated and waiting for two hours the phlebotomist informed me I have ?bad veins? which I have never been told in my life and told me to leave. Will not be returning. Complete waste of time.
UPDATE: My first two visits here were bad. Really frustrated by how their staffing creates massive bottlenecks. Great people, but inadequate management. I've been here 3 times since and had good experiences due to choosing off hours (mostly early mornings). My advice would be to avoid the busy times. You'll be here forever. This is the most inefficient operation I've ever seen. The DMV is more efficient. People are nice, but their staffing is mismanaged. You have to have an appointment, but it does nothing
Always have a great experience coming here and the staff is so friendly! Victor is by far one of the nicest and friendliest staff members and he always makes sure I'm taken care of before donating. He is so helpful along with everyone else in making sure I'm comfortable when donating which I am so grateful for!
Everything went really smooth! The first appointment takes a while, but they make sure that you are 100% able to donate!
Staff is very friendly, they made the process easy. Facility is clean and everything ran smoothly.
If you have never donated plasma, do not go here. You'll never want to donate again. Aside from the general annoyance with new donors, no one I interacted with explained any part of the process, what it was for, or why it was necessary. When I checked in at the front desk, I answered all questions honestly and made sure to eat well/drink water but was given a snack I couldn't eat (dairy allergy) and told to wait in an empty room off to the side. Several times throughout the 1.5 hours I was there, I had to a
The ladies up at the front were great but the nurse is terrible. I understand she is doing her job but she is very insensitive, rude and judgmental. This would have been my first time ever donating and Ive never had medical issues besides simple illness as a child. So of course I don't know full details but I answered all questions as truthful as possible. Ended up getting turned away because certain answers weren't ?good enough?. I was very respectful and cooperative and did NOT receive anything of the sor
I had Ashley work with me today and she was awesome. She is really good at what she does and she treats you like a good family friend. If any of y?all come here to donate try to work with Ashley.
Go elsewhere it has turned into a revolving door of phlebotomists who don't know what they are doing and will Butcher your veins and get you deferred for waiting to long to do their job and get you deferred. In over 15 years of donating, I have never had a place do this or have so much trouble hitting my veins. Donate at own risk.
After driving an hour to get here they tell me I can't donate because I said ow when I stood up from their low chairs and having to be in a car all this way. The nurse just asked what happened I told her I did sleep wrong and she immediately said I could not donate.I did not have a limp in my step and when the nurse told me I could take medicine I told her I didn't need that and wouldn't be taking medicine for a minor twing that only hurt that moment of getting up. No evaluations of any type just nope and l
Let me preface this review by stating the last time i received money for a donation was 9/2022. So let's start with the physical that I knew I was to take. Maria who is supposed to be a nurse escorts me to an office, she has no name tag, no lab coat, I saw her giving directions to the assistants who first draw your blood and weigh you. Anyway, she starts to review my chart going over my tattoos I guess you have listed. Mind you I originally started donating there in 2021 and never reviewed tattoos with any
Didn't have a good experience at the Dallas Hampton location last week. They overbooked, took me and many others through the entire process after waiting more than an hour, assigned me to a bed, then came over and said they can't take any more donations and would be stopping at 730pm. I was notified at 729pm of this change. I normally wouldn't have been upset, but they knew way before then that they were done for the day. They need to stop allowing appointments after 6pm if they can't follow thru. So the do
Been using BioLife in Arlington for over a year now. It's been a helpful addition to our family budget and a fun enough process each week. I made some friends and learned some stuff about my body. Shout to Ashley! She was the smoothest needle stick I've had there yet, and I've done it 84 times now. She was so kind, thorough, and fun to visit with too this morning. Several of the team members there are. Check them out!
I have been donating at this center since March of this year. I have had no problems up to this point. I came to donate on September 3, 2024. I had recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism (August 2024), and had begun new medication. I marked that, talked with nurse about it, signed form, and was told it would be faxed to my doctor the next morning (September 4th) and that I could donate once that was done. I kept in contact with my doctor. When she still had not received my form almost 2 weeks later, I
Ana Marie was the nurse that did the physical and was so welcoming and informative. As a first timer she helped ease the nervousness. The rest of the staff was also helpful and attentive.
I had a great experience at my new donor physical, this was my first time ever donating plasma or blood. The nurse (I think Heather?) was wonderful. My donor tech was a natural! I wish I caught his name but it didn't even hurt when he inserted the needle into my arm. I was in awe at how easy he made it look. He was fast, skillful, and professional and I felt comfortable the entire time. He deserves recognition and all the praise. I asked him how long he's done this, and he said he started this past January
So I had an appt to donate my plasma for first time and the head nurse calls in leaving only a new nurse on her SECOND day. There is no guidance and my mom and I sat for an hour an a half for our physical watching people come and go. Their website shows masks are required for staff and donors yet nobody was wearing one. My cousin got kicked out the playroom into the heat outside with her baby. The staff said due to Covid restrictions no children allowed but no sign indicating this. I finally got to donate
I had been calling and calling for days trying to speak with someone just to see if walk-ins are welcome for first time donors. And NOBODY answers the phones.. EVER..! Ridiculous..!
It was well organized. The staff is very kind and charismatic. They offered a variety of snacks. The process overall is quick and maintained. It's a great atmosphere.
I have donated 3 times now. I will not be returning. The staff is overall rude, with a few exceptions. I've spent more time waiting around on them than I have actually donating. Once I figured out how much money I was making vs the time I was spending, it's not worth my time. I did the math and it came out to approx $20 per hour. If you have time to waste for that, then this is a good fit. If you don't want to stand around waiting, surrounded by rude employees, then do not come here.
Everyone is nice except LAYLA who has zero customer service skills, always has a negative expression, always looks bothered when you ask her a question. She also defers you for no reason! Also MARIA the nurse, too. She had to question me because their survey computers sometimes select the answer next to the one you tap. In that 10 minutes we spent, she was an absolutely disgusting, passive agressive, sour, ugly, tart b word. Both of them are. Get another job!
What a great experience! This was my 3rd time trying to donate at this location. This day, I was informed that I would receive a referral and not be able to donate if a technician could not get my very tiny vein to give plasma. Well, let me tell you?.for anyone who has a vein issue like I do, don't give up!! Please ask for Ms. Saffie at the Arlington location. First try and the flow began?WOW!!! Ms. Saffie is the reason why I returned to back to Biolife to continue donating and now will forever be a Plasma
Ashley is the best phlebotomist on the staff. She's very nice and professional, every time I donate she goes out her to make me feel welcomed and appreciated.
This was my very first time donating & from beginning to end my experience was great! Thank you Stevie Ray for the smooth check in, thank you Nurse Anna Marie for answering my questions & being patient, and lastly I want to Thank Ollie for making me feel comfortable & being gentle! Biolife Arlington has a great staff! Thank you all again!
This place is a joke. Spent majority of the six visits I made (where I was only able to donate 3) sitting around waiting on the staff to finish Talking amongst each other. every time I visit there is a new issue preventing me from donating either a issue with their system or an issue with their efficiency. It's frustrating. The management (And I use that term loosely) Is a joke. any issues that are brought to their attention are made worse by their incompetency and their attitude. Speaking to a frustrated ?
Shouldn't even have a phone. What's the point of you don't answer it. I've been calling for 2 days straight.. 26 CALLS and let voicemails and not one call back! Terrible operations. Go to Grifols instead???
I had my first experience donating plasma at the arlington Biolife plasma service the nurse i had made it easy for me to go get it over with the best nurse thanks a lot Faith for making it easy for me.
Ashley was the nicest person at the site. She welcomed me w a conversation and referred to me by name. It was really nice to go in and have a friendly face to calm me before the process. Thank you Ashley for being you! ??
Staff is good, machines okay.very busy but Destiny was great today. really made everything go smooth.
My appointment was at 6:50am I arrived 10 mins early. After checking in I was told a nurse had a question for me and to wait in the chairs near the nurse station. Long story short no one ever checked on me I just sat there and sat there and sat there. After a hour of waiting I got up and left. It was a complete waste of time and I will not be back.
I had heard of issues with paperwork, and was a previous donor at Grifols. Knowing there was a cutoff period between donating at other locations, i went in expecting to do paperwork and physical, possibly take a good chunk of the evening, and not get to donate. Not only was the paperwork and physical processed and completed faster than i expected, but being upfront about the previous and semi-recent donations at grifols, I instead was allowed to donate. Even with so many people there, everything was smoothl
I set out on a quest to find a plasma donation center that I could go to regularly in order to be a blessing to others in need. I found Biolife in Burleson. The process was fairly easy & quick. After mandatory questions I had to see a nurse. She informed me that information from my doctor concerning my medications and CPAP machine was needed. They received that information and I was well on my way with this new journey. Burleson was not the closest so I started going to Arlington. After 3 donations all heck
Long wait times and this center is extremely under staffed!!!! When I first started donating here, I would be done with my donation in 45 minutes to an hour. It was a vast improvement from the last company I donated with. Things are very different now. Donation turn around times are more than 2 1/2 hours. I have skipped several donations due to excessive wait lines. Even though the center operates on appointments, there isn't enough staff to process the amount of donors they allow. Employees have a slow mov
The enrollment and regular donation procedures are streamlined and efficient, utilizing Aurora Xi machines manufactured by Fresenius Kabi. These machines facilitate the completion of donations within approximately 30 to 45 minutes. While some individuals find the work environment enjoyable, it is evident that others do not. It is important to note that walk-ins are not accommodated; an appointment is mandatory. Additionally, individuals with mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia,
Not coming back here again!!!! I had my 4th plasma donation the other day and I had a male nurse do the process this time. He was NOT gentle at all, just jammed the needle in my arm without barely checking to make sure it was correct. He had to adjust the needle several times because the machine would stop collecting blood. The last two times that he adjusted it, it hurt so bad that it felt like my arm was on fire. After he finally removed the needle, and wanted to do the process on my other arm but I said
Angelique is very rude, and snappy, and not very good at her job at all, she ignored me completely when donation was done, sat there for an extra 1/2 hour
This place is the absolute best very personal very fast I've never had anyone mess my veins up the nurses are great and they just hired new phlebotomist that a very good and fast. Management is wonderful and nice and I wanted to move to get new donor rates but I don't see another plasma place that can compare. Period!!
Always under staffed!! Staff doesn't see to know what they are doing. I've never been somewhere that has a difficult time finding veins. Need more training!!
I was able to go straight to a computer when I came in. The line for vitals was short and the line for a bed was long but steadily moved. The wait for someone to connect me to a machine was very short and the stick was perfect. It was a great experience.
I always have an exceptional experience every time I visit Biolife in Arlington. The facility is always clean, the wait time is never long. and the staff are awesome. Especially Angelica, if she is working when I get there, she always makes me feel like family.
I went early this morning and I went with my 1 year old daughter waiting in a area not close to people waiting on my aunt so she could watch my baby after she is done so I could donate. I was sitting there for an hour before a lady came and told me that I have to leave due to ?COVID restrictions? why wasn't I told this before when I came it wasn't an issue before but since the higher up person was there I had to leave. There is no sign that says kids can't come there is literally a sign for a play room. And
I have never been to this place before so I thought I would give it a chance. This appointment was for my fiance. I was just there because his car is broken at the moment. We walked inside 15 minutes before the app and no one talked to us for 10 minutes. Once talked to we were greeted very rudly by a lady named Saffie she was not respectful at all said my fiance ID was expired and he had to point out that she was looking at the wrong thing. We then waited 45 minutes and the 3 people that came in after us go
This center never answers the phone or responds to voicemails. It's so inconvenient when I have to drive down there, stand at the front desk for 20 minutes, and be told I can't donate for something that I could've been told over the phone. People need questions answered. Going all the way to biolife shouldn't be the only way to get those answers. Most inquiries are time sensitive because you can only donate 2x a week with 2 days inbetween. DO BETTER!! This is the center on arbrook in arlington btw.
Steve was very nice and had a great personality didn't get the person name that did my set up but i did not feel a thing when the needle went in. very clean atmosphere staff was awesome ??
I come here regularly, and the staff is always very nice and professional. But today I came and this woman named Layla took my vitals. I found the way she talked to me to be very cold and rude, and this is not the first time I've felt this way with her in particular. She told me something I already knew, so I said yes ma'am. Then she told me something else, and again I said yes ma'am. I guess the way I spoke offended her because she then called the manager to come over. Immediately after, she said my iron w
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
