Andie and her team did a great job during my last donation. The Georgetown location is very new and very nice. They did a great job of getting me scanned and verified, hooked up, and out the door in a very reasonable time frame. Other plasma centers are very over booked.

Donating plasma has been such a fulfilling experience for me. I love knowing that I'm helping others in my community?possibly even saving lives?with something as simple as my time. It feels good to contribute to a greater cause in such a direct, tangible way. The compensation is a nice bonus, too. While it's not why I started donating, the extra money definitely helps and makes it easier to stay consistent. THEY ARE REFUSING TO PAY MY HUSBAND! His payments have been wrong the last 4 times he went, then this time he never received one at all and the first time he asked they told him it could take up to 2 hours. Then they said up to 24 hours. Still nothing. They are very polite the first time you go, and then if you come more than a few times they seem to intentionally make people not want to come back. They waited until the end of the process to tell me my tattoo was too close to my elbow. All 3 people I saw said nothing about it until the end. I wasted a lot of time here. The old lady doing the physicals was very unprofessional and the nurse was pretty rude. I couldn't even donate. Go there if you need the money, but this place was terrible.

Truly professional, kind, and patient staff. Clear and thorough explanations from start to finish. Very clean facility with great attention to detail. As a first time donor, clinicians made every effort to ensure I clearly understood the process, and that I was comfortable throughout. Scheduling my second appointment was a no-brainer. Nurse Tracy is awesome! She was asking me how I was doing the whole time and making sure that I was informed with what was going on. She really cares about everyone she sees!

Been going here on and off the past 7+ years. Never had a horrible Experience like recent. I was walking from my chair area all the way to the front dripping a significant amount of blood. I went there to donate plasma on February 1st. Beth helped check to make sure I was eligible to donate. She was very informative when I had asked questions, just from my own curiosity. Everyone was very sweet and kind there. They check up on everyone frequently throughout the appointment. They will reassure you and they make sure you are comfortable as well. This biolife center is definitely my favorite location to go to. It's always a quick process to get in and out and all of the nurses are always friendly and helpful. I've had some problems at another location but since I've been going to this one everything has been going smoothly.

I was just turned away only 5 minutes after my appointed time because apparently the grace period doesn't apply to the last appointment time of the day. This people up in the front, not doing their job correctly, been in the medical field for 9 years and done plasma centers. I know when someone is not doing a finger stick correctly. There's a report you can run how many people this lady has sent away cause I noticed at least 3 people in front of me turned away for HCT c?mon on now get better staff. April 6th was my first time donating and I was very nervous. Christie and the rest of the staff made me feel safe and comfortable during the entire process! I could not have asked for a better experience, thank you BioLife staff!

If you're going to donate be sure to note their hours!! For example: they don't always close at 8pm during the week. They close at different hours. So if you book at 7:30pm on a Friday like I did, arrive early or else they will turn you away even if you're a minute past and it's only 7:31pm. They offer a 10 minute grace period for appointments, but not the first and last ones of the day so be sure to check their hours before booking. Been going here off and on for 3 years! It's good to see some familiar faces even after all this time. Staff is extremely wonderful and I personally have never had issues. Not too much of a wait either h less you go at prime times whenever gets off of work.

Did my vitals wasn't told I needed a physical before waiting in line and on the beds only to be turned away due to being an out of state resident despite last year being able to do a physical at the same location last year, now an hour of my time has been wasted and I have to go all the way back to the origin of my very 1st donatation just to get a physical which was not needed last year. I WISH I CAN GIVE NO STARS! I went in yesterday to donate and I overheard a worker inform someone that there is a delay in payment. Completely understandable! Today I had a disgusting experience when taking blood from three people, they tried to take caviar from my vein. I understand that they were interns and such. I think it is unacceptable, they should be taught and then allowed near people. I am simply shocked??

Went into Biolife today to sign up to donate as a new donar. They made me anappointment at 3ish it's 7:54p.m. I jus5 walked out this business. Sad this business gets good money for plasma & only has one physical nurse working in the afternoon. That was 5 hrs sitting waiting on a physical to be able to donate. They where staffed so why would they have anyone waiting max 5 hrs. This visit was slower than usual, the facility seemed to be short staffed based on several previous visits. Also the technicians that take vitals need to make sure and clean both the fingers print scanner and the thermometer where each donor holds while taking temperature. The bathrooms need towels instead of hand dryers, you need towels to open the door as not everyone washes their hands.

So far, my experience here has been fantastic, and I definitely want to give a couple of shout-outs. Chris has been so gentle with the needle and does an amazing job making me feel safe and comfortable. This will be the last time I donate plasma due to repeated issues with the process. They missed my vein and couldn't establish a good flow. The attendant seemed indifferent to my concerns and tried to force the needle deeper into my arm. When they tried the other arm, the same problem occurred. Now, due to their mismanagement, I'm prohibited from donating for 8 weeks, and both my arms are bruised.

I've been coming to BioLife Austin for a few years and sometimes have issues with my heart rate and it unfortunately keeps me from donating. I had some anxiety during my screening about this heart rate issue but Jane put me at ease during the process. Her professionalism and understanding when I informed her about my heart rate was top notch. Truly, BioLife has a amazing management and wonderful staff.

The donating process was fine. I donated at different center, returned to biolife, and was told to come back two days later. I return two days later and get a permanent defferal. Not a "you can't donate again right now, come back on xyz" A "you aren't allowed to donate at biolife ever again". All for following the instructions given to me by a biolife employee. Pretty ridiculous.

Biolife Plasma Services has welcomed me into the family and I'm so happy and grateful for the opportunity to help my community. My intake process the first time I walked in took a few hours to complete because 1) I had my wallet stolen recently and my SS card was in there which is a required document BUT they were able to confirm it online it just took some extra time and 2) they were SLAMMED that day and short staffed. Length of time spent at the center is ridiculous. Staff is friendly and patient. Even when very busy, folks are always calm and pleasant to deal with. Facility is clean and bright. And size of parking spaces in parking lot is more than generous. Seldom need to worry about being dinged by another car?s door.

On a Sunday be prepared if your appointment is at 11 to to wait in line for 30 minutes and then wait to get a bed for another 30 to 45 minutes. I scheduled an appt for tonight, 1/15 @ 630pm. When I scheduled it, nothing came up saying I needed a physical before I could donate. However, when I got there and scanned in to do my questions, it said I had to get a physical. Very professional, the few times I've had any complications with the donating process the issues were explained succinctly and handled efficiently. Beth was very kind and did a great job in particular, but there's also been plenty of other kind staff that made the donating experience great I can't imagine going somewhere else to donate, the only times I've had things to complain about were lines outside of the staff's control.

Came here last 5 months ago and left with a hematoma and a botched donation. I do NOT blame the phlebotomists, they're simply too overworked and too busy that I don't doubt they'd make a minor error in sticking someone. Although the nurses and staff were nice, this was my first time donating and I have a bad hematoma. The bruise is huge, and I'm fairly certain the needle for the IV was put in too deep because I never even flinched once. No hatred towards the staff, but pls have them check what they're doing. This is a very painful healing process, and I'm hoping it's nothing more than a hematoma.

Wild how you give new donors over 700$ but the reoccurring donors that come every week make a little over 400$. Maybe pay your donors that come and keep you running every week and you wouldn't constantly be seeking new donors... ??. I wanted to give a huge shout out to Beth, who helped me immensely on my last donation. After experiencing some confusion and getting misguided by someone else Beth was able to provide me with helpful information and was informative, friendly and efficient. In addition to helping me, she was calm and collected while attending to others as well as maintaining the flow of the floor by keeping donors moving into the appropriate areas. Honestly usually have a great visits. But it all depends if I have to deal with 1 person. She will make you feel like you are a burden. And not very friendly. But for the most part I still feel like all the others are super sweet.

I'd love to give this place 5 stars. Staff is super helpful and once you get vitals done and to a bed, the process is fairly efficient. Lately though, the line goes to the back the building, adding at least an extra 30-45 minutes to your time spent there. I feel like they overbook appointments and no one cancels, resulting in a backup in the line. Currently been a donor for a couple years now and the service has been going downhill every month, the techs talk to each other more than they do their job, the management do nothing but walk around and send people on lunch during the busiest time, and I'm currently sitting here waiting for a tech it's been 40min.

The staff is very efficient and courteous. Beth handled my intake today and I've been very comfortable with the whole procedure. Her work space was tidy and her repor was professional and agreeable. I'm happy to be a regular here.

The whole process at the Austin facility has greatly improved. The app has a great update and scheduling is a lot easier. The check in is very pleasant. Beth always has a great conversation and makes you feel relaxed while she gathers your vitals. I'll continue to recommend this facility to give plasma. They really care about your well being.
