My Plasma Donation Experience From the moment I walked in, everything moved quickly?but not in a rushed or uncomfortable way. The team working that day made the entire process feel smooth and comforting. The first woman who greeted me set a welcoming tone, and the lady who handled my intake was kind and professional. But it was the sophisticated sister with the natural locks who truly left a lasting impression?her warm energy made the whole experience feel personal. Even though the staff mentioned they we
My first time donating plasma went fine, it was a longer process than I hoped for but nothing too unbearable. My second time in was a different story. The person helping my donation was not confident when finding my vein and it was obvious they did not do a good job with the needle, as the machine kept stopping and the process was much slower. After an hour, another worker came over and confirmed the needle was not in a good place so I could leave once they returned my blood. They started the return process
This was my first time trying to donate plasma. This location is 35 mins from my home. So not a quick drive to get here. First time I walked in they asked me for my ID and SS card. As nothing during the process of making an appointment through the app told me I would need my SS card, I didn't have it with me. Fine. A few days later I make another appointment. I have everything I need, but traffic is bad. I walk in 10 mins after my appointment time. Now I am told that is too late and my appointment has been
This place is always busy when I go but they try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. I don't feel they have enough workers to get us on to the machines and the wait in line sometimes is over an hour after appointment time. I plan on being there for 3 hours. It is a privilege for me to donate so I don't mind the wait. The employees are like family now. I've been going since Jan and I look forward to going twice a week. When they have 3 people doing vitals and 4 people on machines, I'm out if there
This place is always very busy! The staff is always working quickly to get donors in and out as quickly as possible. Natorious was my technician and explained the process, was courteous, and efficient. Her professionalism made me feel comfortable while I was donating.
Staff was informative and efficient, not to mention patient with someone not naturally comfortable around a busy clinic these days, in even a donation environment with this being flu season and I never liked being poked or seeing ones own blood. Especially Mrs. Jennifer who was comforting and diligent. To the staff that extracts and monitors you, thank you and kudos..Their new donor process was streamlined but still made me confident in their safety protocols
Never had a problem. The user Candid America just sounds like a racist. Everyone is always sweet to me. Everything is a process. There is no in and out anywhere you go. Don't like the process, don't go. It's basically free money. You don't need it, don't go. Bruises happen with a venipuncture. Miss sticks can happen. If you cannot handle that, don't go. Other than that, the people are friendly and efficient at their jobs. Leave your entitlement at home.
The first time I stepped into this company, I immediately recognized its sufferance of bad management. Within this facility, any employee can make critical decisions that, in nature, are ideal for managerial roles, such as denying service to prospective donors due to reasons the donor had no way to be aware of. Even more surprising, employees have mentioned they have no actual medical certifications, yet these employees do all of the blood work. Upon entry, a basic employee informed a female that she would
I would like to commend Kibwe for his outstanding professionalism and excellent service during my recent visit to the plasma center. Kibwe was courteous, knowledgeable, and made the donation process smooth and comfortable, his attention to detail and compassionate approach truly stood out and made a positive impression. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and genuinely care about donors. Thank you for providing such a high standard of care.
This place is always the best and cleanest with an extremely friendly staff. Shouts out to Kibwe for always a painless and quick donation with uplifting support. And Marcus, for being an amazing manager with these great people. Would recommend 100%!
Employees are polite. Parking is difficult to find when they are busy. Waiting after check-in to be processed, vitals checked, waiting for a chair to donate is cumbersome and downright uncomfortable. Don't come here if you have trouble standing for long periods of time or if you're looking for a quick in and out donation process. 2-3 hours is the minimum amount of time you will be at this facility. I'm not able to post a picture here but my second visit left me with a huge bruise on my left arm. Not sure
Be careful. If you ever need to close your debit card (which by the way incurs a $3 a month penalty after 3 months of not being reloaded) they neither know how to do it and they won't help you figure it out. I've recently moved out of state and will no longer be a donor at the facility. However, after many attempts of trying to reach them thru phone and email to close the card. No response. No call backs. The Mastercard issuer can't close the card. Only the facility that actives it. This for me is a next
And this is being generous. We live almost 30 miles from the center and my husband usually donates. He went in as a new donor and have his third donation, he was told that something went wrong with his first blood testing. No one could tell him why, and he went back twice to donate and was turned around without any explanation more than his results had not been reviewed. Several weeks have gone by and several phone messages were left and there has been no response from the center
I've come 3 times and have not been able to donate. I understand it's no one else's fault, but my own, but my blood pressure was high. The second time I tried to donate the first time I tried to donate. I had to reschedule because of the snow and I showed up at the reschedulesd app at the wrong time. And they would not see me. the third time I came My appointment was at 3 PM. And I showed up and walked through the door at 312, and they would not see me. I understand people have to stay on schedule but to
My first time back in awhile, I normally am pretty talkative but this time I was quiet. When I got called over to purple I noticed Kibw? was sticking. This was the first time he would stick me and most of the time I request 2 others, but since it was my first time back in a few weeks I decided to trust and Kibw? was able to stick me without me even noticing, no pain at all. Shout out Kibw?
Great people that work their, unfortunately their ?understaffed? and would hope they get new great workers because it's not the fault of other people that their understaffed and some have to cancel their appointments
The customer service is good, staff was very helpful and friendly. I feel as if the technology at this place is behind when it comes to other plasma donation places and I have donated before. BioLife plasma machines take a while to get plasma. I donated here and it took an hour, when other places I've been it only takes 30 minutes.
The nurse jammed the needle WAY too far into my arm and insisted the issue was with my not ?pumping my hand enough? and refused to acknowledge my input until the machine shut off for a fifth time. At that time I was given a pre-printed sheet of paper, aka this issue happens often, and a cold wrap for my arm while the needle was swapped to the other arm. Two days later my arm is significantly bruised and noticeably swollen still? all this for $70 lol what a joke. They tell you each donation equals two lives
Very smooth process. I was serviced by Kibw? and he was an absolutely angel and was attentive to everyone in his section. By far my favorite person here.
Workers are great, always very helpful and welcoming! Management not the best. Twice in 2 weeks the center couldn't open due to Manager/Nurse not on time. Both times waited over 30 minutes without the center opening with over 20 others unable to donate. 12/18 no manger 12/31 no nurse.
It's incredible that this place, which looks professional and offers many deals for donations, offers such poor service and denies your donation because you don't speak English. Doesn't a center like this have a translator available? Not recommended.
I stopped going to this center in July. You have now sent me a $700 bonus - here's some facts - I'm a physicist that majors in spectrum biological functions in agriculture and biology medicine - I'm also a juris doctorate that aids peer review in medical claims- I donated plasma because I study these fields - let me repeat myself - science is diverse and only works in a safe environment - this center removed most of its staff overnight - Virginia Megan and their supervisor from Indiana also the young woman
This sucks I'm sitting in bio life now been here for over 2hrs now waiting to be hooked up.all they cansay is I'm sorry about the wait. It's pathetic they make you wait so long for something they pay so little for.they take their time so you'll get mad and walk out and they don't have to pay you. They are completely wrong with the way the treat their donors and we should be given more money for the l0ng waits
I hate to give one star, let me be clear, it is 0% because of the regular staff, who are fantastic (especially the girls up front who check protein), it is because of Michael (white guy who just hangs out in the back) who yelled at me and my wife today for wanting to sit together for donations, we promptly decided to leave instead. We have regularly come 2 times a week for about a year and never had an issue laying next to one another for donations until today. We have canceled our remaining 4 scheduled app
Horrible service. Disrespectful, bad attitude. They NEVER answer the phone. They waste your entire day just to donate. If you're lucky you will get a staff member that knows how to find your vein with the needle.
Not too full in the mornings but the wait is still long . I don't if they are short staffed or just take their time in everything but they should find a better way to make things go a little faster and run smoother
Great experience! First time donor advice: give yourself at least an extra hour to get into their system, get a physical, q&a on their computer, etc. Once in the chair donating, it's an hour followed by 15 minutes (for safety reasons/monitoring). Nurse Jennifer is great, front staff is wonderful, back-staff doing the blood-work are polite and calm. 10/10!
It was a fun Saturday 23rd of November. I love the care Ms. Chastity gave to me, and Ms. Shannon was kind and helpful also. I love the work crew you had for November the twenty third they were amazing together. It was the best, and funniest day I have ever had with BioLife.
The lines are extremely long my last few visits! They work really hard, but always short of staff. If y?all are going to schedule so many people each time slot you need to open more stations with more employees!
This place is a scam. They will steal your plasma and not pay you. Also in one session two people collapsed because of improper medical care. The workers here don't know how to use needles and caused a hematoma and then refused to pay me. Do not go here. Your life is not worth the small amount they pay you. Every time you go expect to wait at least 3 hours before you donate
The people here are so kind and caring they really care about your well-being I love the cleanliness of the place and the help and support that the employees offer you. Everything's very well organized also I just don't like to go nowhere else it's the best one in town by far. BioLife appreciates you and that's a good feeling
This place will test every shred of patience you may have. I had an new donor appointment two weeks ago, I was able to get a physical and do the STE or whatever the blood test is, but unable to donate because they felt like I hadn't eaten enough before- valid. No issues with that. I scheduled an appointment two days later to donate- every time I tried to check in- it would say I was ?ineligible?. Still waiting for the blood work to come in from the lab. Ok. I tried 3 different times. Now I'm being told that
Biolife is a very great an professional place. They are lenient if you don't have address info. I was new to my house an hadn't gotten any mail to prove I was living there they let me donate an gave me a week to get them info. There was also a slip up where I was banned from donating for a whole year but one quick look from a kind manager an boom I was good to go. The experience has been nice with only one incident where a trainie stuck my vein wrong an left bruising up my vien to my shoulder which ended up
I've been going here for a while now and it's by far the cleanest and most friendliest place and pays the best. I'm sorry for ya that had a bad experience but you should try again. Thank you all to the workers of Bio plasma. I love it here. They do blood tests regularly and I have had to wait almost 10 days to be able to donate. It's a pain but they care about your well-being, as they should. Thank you Biolife
Kibw? is very friendly, and always makes it a point to speak to his returning donors. His sticks are gentle and don't hurt at all. Mrs. D is also very friendly! Shannon is the life of BIO. Without shannon everyone in there would be asleep! The recent change in management was much needed! Keep up the good work. But I will edit my review if I ever end up needing an adjustment lol!
Reducing the donation compensation by $40 is not encouraging me to continue to donate regularly. Apparently you have enough new donors and don't need mine. I've been donating for over 2 years. Processes are more efficient then when I started but still 2+ hours no matter what. Twice in the last 2 weeks my appointment was cancelled due to staffing. I'm currently in search of somewhere else to donate.
Their machine broke and they faulted me and said ?u can't give us all the plasma so we can't give you all the money..keep in mind they didn't even return my blood back to my body..I left out feeling like I was gonna pass out?I'm really upset about the whole experience
Cannot get a manager to call me back. Trying to donate in another state. A misunderstanding about my being homeless lead to a deferment and I can't donate until it's removed. Been trying to reach someone at this offfor a few yrs and left multiple msgs.
I gave blood for ~1 year. I gave up because the waiting times kept increasing. They make appointments but don't schedule enough staff to ensure that they keep customers moving. It should take ~1-1.5 hours to get through the process. It was taking 2-2.5 hours to get through because they would not schedule enough staff. Repeated complaints by donors were met with indifference. It is great to give blood and get paid, but BioLife does not care about internal customers.
Everyone is always so friendly and helpful! All in all, each appointment is pleasant!
I understand it's a perk of a new donor to cut the line, however, being pushed back behind 12 people when I've been in line for 45 minutes already is getting ridiculous. Employees are too busy chatting about their weekend or sharing food. No sense of urgency and takes 3-4 hours just to get one donation in. There's 2 people hooking & unhooking people & the rest of the people are behind the counter enjoying their time with their friends. Even worse that if you can't stay for their 3 hour long chat sessions, y
Staff is friendly and helpful. Facility is clean. Scheduling is easy.
When they're good they're great. They'll be quick and friendly. But today particularly sucked. It took over an hour just for me to get my vitals checked, and when my pulse was too high, instead of the 10 minutes I was put in the chair for almost 50. Three people were rechecked and cleared before I even got back in the chair. And once I finally did, she was distracted by other workers asking her questions. However, I have been treated very kindly by all the workers there. They're very polite and make good li
This place is a JOKE. I just spent two hours trying to get signed up here, and during my evaluation I was told that due to being diagnosed YEARS AGO with PTSD that would make me ineligible to donate unless I signed a release of information for them to obtain ?further information? from my psychiatrist. I said I was fine with signing a release of information form, but that I wanted to see a copy of the release form and I wanted to know what information they were requesting exactly. The nurse I was talking wi
only reason i gave one star is cuz i cant give zero . yall really need to get it together . no matter how mancbad reviews yall get yall never get any better and its really terrible . but if we report yall to corporate we would be wrong . yall open one section with 4 workers on the floor . yall can open the other sections too . and yall wonder why there is so many people lining up in here . we stand in the bed Waiting line for hours waiting to be put on a bed because yall wont open other sections and put peo
When they are good they are great. But too often I feel like no one?s time is enough is important. Today my machine was telling them that it was finished for over 15-20 minutes meanwhile everyone is walking around, talking, etc not helping someone because it's not their section. They need more team work and coworkers need to assist each other. This is the 4th time I've been here and I've had to wait for 20+ minutes to be unhooked from the machine so I could go about my day.
It's impossible to donate. I tried I was rejected because I'm bipolar, I'm stable and medicated. They said they'd reach out to my doctor but never did so. I am able to work full time, go to school full time, and maintain relationships. I feel like I'm being discriminated against for my mental health history.
Very very veryyyyyy slow with too much talks about personal life from workers
I love coming here and I've been coming here for 4 years my honest reason for sticking to this place is because of Ms. Shaleka , Ms. Tatyana, Ms. Tenae, Mrs. Leslie, Mrs. Delacey, Mrs. Lakeisha, and Ms. Byrah. They're very comical Anne giddy but excellent workers! I am not over exaggerating when I say they will put a smile on your face before you get the needle in your arm.. I've also been having awesome results with the phleds.. some n some in particular .. Ms. Shailyn, Ms. Natorious, and Mr. Michael Gall
My second time at the location was nothing short of the best! Ms. Chasity is the best person ever, her communication skills and energy are next level! She is definitely an asset to the organization and deserves all the praise!
I'm only giving 2 stars because the facility was nice and clean, in my opinion they deserve 1 (or none at all) but I will give credit when it's due. Other than the cleanliness, I really don't have anything good to say. The staff is extremely rude. They would roll their eyes any time someone walked in the door for an appointment, and they would do the same when you would ask a question. The ladies at the front desk sit up there and have conversations with one another while ignoring the customer. I went a co
ADMA plasma center. "Hammond " 1st Donation $100 2nd Donation $115 3rd Donation $125 4th Donation $135 5th Donation $150 Come on down and check us out...??
Staff was amazing and friendly. The center is very clean and organized.
I have been giving plasma for about a year 1/2 now at this facility. The facility is always clean and the workers are all wonderful. The only reason why I am giving this facility two stars is because of the recent wait times of up to three hours. The wait times have never been this bad. I know the facility is short handed right now so the appointments scheduled per 5 mins should be reduced until you are fully staffed. You are working your employees to death and losing reoccurring donors. I, myself, will be
BioLife you are doing a disservice to the plasma donation patrons and those needing plasma. SHAME on you. As I stand 11th in line for a bed at 10:10am for a 9am appt (again) I write this. I've discovered there are 3 employees called out sick today. (*edited to add a staff member just quit when she was told to help with the line for a bed instead of at the intake counter ) Staff has woefully shared this (long line) happens often with no punishment to those that don't want their jobs and you have no alternate
Donating plasma is great! You get to help save lives, have a brief period to yourself, and earn a little. I've been donating at BioLife for around two years. I started not long after the center in BR opened. The staff is always great! You can really tell they try and that they care. Management is a different story. This center has gone through so many manager changes. The staff is amazing, but there is never enough staff. Wait times in the past six months have consistently reached 2-3 hours. That being said
I rated my experience satisfied because it was! Shoutout to Delancey, i barely felt her needle stuck and they made sure to come check on me every once in a while!
Overall my experience is awesome , but when your called to a bed I feel that you they should be ready to hook you up so you can donate . You shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes to be hooked up
Yesterday was my first visit here, and my appointment included a physical and a donation. I was nervous but the staff was sure to explain every step along the way, particularly Nurse Sheila and Nurse Mecal during the physical; I had several questions but the two of them were sure to answer every one of them completely, and their professionalism combined with their warm personalities not only reassured me about the experience but made it fun. :) The nurses during the donation were caring and efficient, and I
Do not donate here unless you want blood all over yourself and vehicle because staff is too lazy to wrap your arm properly! Apparently when you squirt blood everywhere it's normal to them. I've been donating plasma for 3 years and this has never happened till now. My sweater and truck are both ruined with the amount of blood and all management could say is use peroxide and bring sweater to cleaners and bring receipt for reimbursement. They ruined my evening plans!
My appointment was at 5 pm. I am still waiting at 615. The wait time here has been bad for several weeks. There are not enough employees and the ones that are here are stressed and complaining.
This was my first time donating blood. Everyone there was very nice and warm welcoming. I will most definitely recommend my family and friends to this place.
Seems like it was ALWAYS something as to why they wouldn't let me donate plasma. I done EVERYTHING they asked me to and still didn't get to donate. From proof of address, done physical twice, and now my pulse rate was too high. Even after sitting for 10 minutes and explaining to them that my pulse rate never runs under 100.
I enjoyed the experience and everything seemed professional until I got to the the Physical and evaluation phase. All of my levels and tests were fine but I was permanently restricted from donating because I've had 2 spontaneous pneumothoraxes and because I experience Psychosis. First off the type of lung collapses I've had have nothing to do with blood or even issues within the diaphragm. They happen out of injuries due to sudden pressure change, but apparently that's something that matters still. And I wa
This location, Sherwood and Coursey, is the slowest location I have ever been to. The lines are ALWAYS long and the staff moves very slowly. Not only is this location very slow, the staff is not the greatest when it comes to sticking people, they could use more training in that aspect for sure! Also think they need more training on working the plasma machine. Other than that MOST of the staff was nice & respectful, disregarding a few.
I moved from Utah, the most you waited there was an hour since the minute you walked in until you were done donating. Here is really frustrating, first, why they have only one section open? Why, most of the time there are only two people checking your blood pressure? Sometimes if not all the time you wait at least 3hours!!!!! Very frustrating. Something needs to change!!!!
Since day one every donation has gone really well! All of the staff are polite and courteous and also attentive! Some, like Ryahnna ,go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable! BioLife on Judson Rd has an excellent staff and I'm glad I chose that donation center to start donating at!!!!
In just two weeks you guys went from $140/week to $90/week. I have driven to this facility twice a week from a half an hour away for close to a year. I started to drive in for my last appt to see if it was just me that got cut over 35% but decided to sit tight and see if things change by popular demand or if it's just me you guys would rather not work with.
Got bruised up like crazy here. Donated in tons of places but never knew what a hematoma was before coming here and got one twice in a row. They let people in training poke you without supervision. Never had this bad of an issue with blood leaking either. Feel like maybe two or three people in there actually know what they're doing.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This facility is very clean. The workers always ask how I'm doing.
Some days are good and some days are a nightmare I have a standard appointment fir 12:15 every week on Wednesdays and Fridays. There are times (not many) when I am here no more than a hour and ten minutes. A lot of workers are just standing around when they can be getting us out but they engage in personal conversation. My arm was badly bruised when I first started donating. That has left my arm with serious scar tissue so everyone that sticks me know to stick above or under the scar tissue, however some
The process when you are there is fine but if you have to have blood drawn and rely on them to contact you for the results forget it. You will never be able to get them to answer the phone and they won't call you with your results or leave you a message. You will have to drive there in person to find out your results and if you can start donating again, which is aggravating if you aren't close.
Very disappointed with this Plasma company. They turned me away for coughing and wouldn't allow me to donate. I live with a cough because I'm a smoker. I've never been treated so unruly and I've used 2 other donating centers before and this place is the the worst. They messed up my first 8 donations with their poor judgement and poor training! Very ghetto!
Very friendly staff. As well as a great system to get your customers through the donation process as quick and painless as possible.
The staff is friendly and very professional. They answer any questions you have. Everytime I go for donations it has always been a great experience
you go be here standing for 2hrs before you even donate. they're appointment only but somehow its still 25+ people waiting in line. lots of the workers just stand there talkin , its 9 sections & they will only use 2 or 3 . like its just ridiculous.
The payout structure doesn't work for me. They pay you a small amount your first donation of the week and a much larger one on your second. I have a very busy work schedule and can't make it twice a week most weeks so it's not even worth my time to go at all for the one small payout. I found another donation center that has more even payouts so it's more worth my time on those weeks I can only donate once.
I love honestly all the staff here they are wonderful! Sweet and caring people and make the donation process so easy. Special shout out to Valencia and Chelsea! Both of them are wonderful, Valencia is so funny and quick with the needle you won't feel it at all! Chelsea is a kind soul and able to take action when needed and still maintaining her caring nature. Wonderful experiences with the both of them, but I feel the entire staff is as perfect as you can get. When you are wanting to help others and plan to
This place is awful! Employees are rude and they try to get you to accept as little money as possible . Go to Grifols plasma or immonotek They pay better and are a hell of lot nicer
Their hospitality was great, the staff was very welcoming and nice. The wait is kind of long but I understood because there are certain precautions they have to take due to COVID-19. The only problem they had was when it came to giving blood some of the nurses or employees didn't know what they were doing. The nurse that came to take my blood didn't know what she was doing. She stuck the needle way too far in my arm and kept wiggling it around trying to fix it until my arm start turning purple, which is com
Will not go back went for first time and was almost done with the screening process and went to get my jacket and they were tripping out. I didn't know you had to stay inside and asked when they were checking vitals if I could go get it and was told I could and got told two conflicting things. Was told had to schedule for whole process over again and wait another 3 hrs I think not and wanted to give me a promo card to fill out that makes people not want to come I would?ve been better off going to the other
You people really need to get it together . I understand y'all are short on staff but y'all literally will have 30 people waiting to be put on a bed and y'all let them sit in line for a hour or a hour and a half when y'all got beds open. It doesn't make any sense . As soon as someone gets off a bed put someone else on that bed and it would move faster . Simple . And the managers are no better they make them close sections because they are lazy . So because they only wanna have one section open , people pile
Some of the staff there are pretty nice but the machines there are kinda weird. I went to a different plasma center and was able to donate just fine. But Biolife continues to turn me around each time I go?.and I was a new donor. Update: after my new donor bonus expired seems like I'm always good to donate and on that I'm not coming back here for a long time I'll just continue going to Grifols they pay more for returning donors anyway. Doesn't help you have to stand in line and Grifols have chairs there. W
The staff is always friendly and professional and always willing to answer any questions.
It only take one time but if you can avoid the chick with the small afro and pink visor. Full of BS attitude for legit no reason even when communicating what another staff member said, also the phlebotomist can not stuck very well. Like if you were truly good at your job it wouldn't hurt. Also there is one with red burgundy hair that sticks like she's throwing darts or something and it hurts like hell. Water this promo I will definitely not be returning here
They gave me $40 for my first donation. They don't update their coupons. I kept asking about the new donor price and they all said they didn't know. $40 and I was there for almost four hours. I will not be coming here again. Other places give over $75+ for new donors. I'm going where I can get a bang for my buck. Recommend not going here. Staff is slow with hooking you up to the machine.
Nice building, smooth process and great staff. I've never had a problem at this location.
I feel like I never want to go back to this place again and I have donated over 60 times in the last two years and I have always been happy with my experience there. However the last month has been ridiculous I have had to wait as much as two hours for a bed. Because the staff is so friendly and the payout is good, i was OK with having to wait a couple hours. Today however I had an appointment at 1 PM. I checked in at 1:03 PM and was told that because I was late for my appointment I could not donate. I am
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
