Mostly everyone was amazing there that I interacted with. I sat up front for over 20 minutes before i actually stood up at the counter because my questionnaire had problems. I know that it gets busy, but 3 other people were helped, and i wasn't even asked if i needed anything when they walked up, i finally just asked what i should do, and i was told to sit by the offices. Once the older woman came back, she started by telling me to walk in front of her and open her door, slightly belligerent and forceful in
Ladies in the front are extremely nice. However, the lady that administers the physical exams is rude! Her nails were dirty and she clearly doesn't know how to talk to people. I don't remember her name, and I don't have any nice words to describe her. So, I will just say she was unable to fit into her chair in the office. Her tone and demeanor were off putting. She should not deal directly with people in any way, shape, or form!
The staff is great, but unfortunately, this place over books their appointments with not enough help to quickly get you through the process. There's too many managers/floor leaders just walking around when it's busy. My last straw was when it took me an hour and five minutes just to still be standing in the line behind six people are only one person was doing the bloodwork check.
DO NOT COME HERE! They are very discriminatory .. if your of a ?certain race? they will flag your account when you've done absolutely nothing and will play victim like they've done nothing! A nurse who would wear a braided pony tail would talk to people with utterly unprofessionalism and defer people just because she knows she has authority to do so. Woman with brown hair - Caucasian gives people dirty looks and starts flagging accounts while laughing with co workers and deciding to leave donors on machine
Absolutely pathetic place. Lost my patience with these people and once I'm pissed I don't hold back. Be aware these employees don't know what they are doing. I took a month break because they kept messing up my arms. I came back today and they messed up AGAIN. I refused my second arm because it was too damn painful and not worth it. And now they are making wait 30 minutes to see if I had any "affects". STAY AWAY from this place.
Decent service but always understaffed. They need to hire more employees. There's no reason I should have to wait 30+ minutes for a 2 minute screening. They have 6 screening stations and only 2 are every used max, often just one open. Also new donors skipping the line MAKES NO SENSE. Why are you punishing donors who are committed to donating??? They should have to wait in the line and the line should move at a reasonable pace if they HAD THE PROPER NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES. Also promotions are given to new a re
So my husband went to the Bolingbrook location and the lady stuck the needle in his arm and was able to take the some blood for his first visit but then took the needle out and stuck him again and now his arm is a little bruised. He doesn't care about that but he went today for his 2nd visit and they turned him away because of the bruise that wasn't his doing.. so now he will not get his full bonus. That's not right and very irritating? I personally love going there and the staff are all very nice and frien
I spoke with a manager on 3/24 and previously sent two customer requests for help with a situation. The actual service on 3/24 was great!! My problem is that on 3/10 your machine malfunctioned and was not able to process the blood of 188ml of mine into plasma, therefore was unable to receive my blood back. With that the following visit on 3/12 my iron was low and again on 3/14. So, because of your machine causing my low blood I was requesting an extension to my donation for the bonus as I was unable to
For the most part everyone is very nice and helpful. I did have a recent experience that left me a little unhappy. During a recent unsuccessful attempt to donate, I had an apparatus warning light come on before my first return started. It took approximately 5 minutes before a tech. addressed my issue. I noticed that they took care of a woman across from me, but walked away without a look at my machine ( I know the tech's. name but I won't mention it here). An unsuccessful attempt was made on my other
They did not set my account up correctly which made it impossible to make an appointment at a closer location to me because it was saying I needed a psychical. I took my psychical with them on Tuesday. They do not answer their phones!!! I called 15 times in a two hour period and none were answered. The google live says they are not even busy at this time. Incompetent!
Wish I could give 0 stars. I've donated everywhere for over 20 years. Never was told the needles where to big for my veins. I asked if they were bigger than the hospital and was told no so I dont understand
Stay away from this place. The high school girl puts the syringe in my right arm and walks away. A new tech assistant walks over and does a new one in my left arm. The next day, right arm black/blue. I'm not sure how the other locations are, but this one clearly has training issues.
Employees are extremely kind and friendly. Wait times can vary however the staff does their best to get you in and out in a timely matter.
This was my first time going. Everyone was very nice and informative. There was a little bit of waiting involved but nothing insane. I ended up getting a little light headed towards the end of my donation and the staff were excellent at making sure I was ok and made sure I got my fluids back up. Completely my fault, I didn't hydrate enough before hand. I know better now and will be coming back.
Overall a good experience. The staff were professional, kind & attentive. The only thing to note is the first time donor intake took one and a half hours.
The facility is always sparkling clean. The staff are warm and friendly while also being super efficient.
Hire staff with the proper credentials instead of On The Job Training. The only person who went to school for phlebotomy was working the front check in and translating for everyone. She is not being used in her field to her strength. That's the first red flag, bad business practices. All but one of the staff interaction I had was pleasant. I was not able to donate I believe because the tech did not know how to properly handle my anatomy. There needs to be an advanced practice NP or MD in the building and on
If you get a good phlebotomist, you're good, otherwise the experience is awful. Plan on being there for about 2 hours from start to finish. 3 out of 5 times, the phlebotomist had to adjust the needle leaving me sore & bruised. The picture is after 4 days.
Scammed me on last payment for donating. Was supposed to be 110 only received 70. No notifications or emails or texts letting me know this. They just did it and I found out after donating. Very sneaky move and very unprofessional.
The donation always goes smoothly and the employees are always great. It's the wait time that REALLY SUCKS! If you are short handed on employees DON"T OVER BOOK DONATIONS! People get frustrated STANDING for over an HOUR!!!
The wait time once seated to donate was 20 minutes sitting in a chair waiting for someone to acknowledge I was in the chair let alone begin to take blood a process that can take as quick as 30 minutes was an hour and 45 minutes. There should be some sort of way we can check in and find out what the wait time is going to be when you arrive. I left yesterday. There were only two rows open and I could not wait any longer. There were 10 people in front of me to begin the first process and there were 12 people w
Staff was very pleasant despite being overworked. They were in good spirits and completed their jobs as efficient as possible
They are amazing here. Would give them 6 stars if I could. Have never once had an issue at this location
Place is clean but can be very slow moving Otherwise no major complaints. However, please try to tell your new hires to speak up. I understand that trainees are nervous and it takes time to learn a new job but they should be personable. My last screener was in the process of training and I couldn't hear or understand a word she said. She spoke very soft and mumbled every word.
The staff is very patient but proficient. They're all polite and knowledgeable. Any time you have a question it's answered and they don't make you feel dumb for even the smallest question. Along with all of this they're very very clean! I like coming here because of all of this and I appreciate their hard work they do every day! Keep up the great work y'all!
All depends it you get a good phlebotomist. Last 3 times I went, 5 different people caused massive bruising on both of my arms and shot through both of my veins. It was very painful, there's only a few people who can get it right
This center is great. Very clean, & organized. The atmosphere was calm. Everyone seems to know what they are doing. I came on a Friday after the holiday at 1:45p there was no wait. ( based on the reviews it is rarely like that, so I got lucky). Everyone at the front desk was welcoming. Will come a different day to see if it is consistent. My donation went smooth?my phlebotomist, Stephanie was great she explained the process & I left with no bruising. The small details they do here reflect they actually care
Very friendly staff. They get donors in and out pretty fast. Clean facilities.
The lines are usually not too long, so my whole in and out experience is usually about 2/2.5hours. My biggest issue with BioLife is how little each appointment pays. Biolife makes an absolute fortune off of each bag of plasma while paying donors a pittance. It doesn't take too much research to find out that a liter of plasma is sold for between $2k-5k. I believe donors should get paid at least $150 per appointment. They could afford to do so, but they don't.
Would?ve been a 1st time donor! Had a 10:15am apt. They checked me in took my picture and fingerprints, then had issues? Did it again 3 more times!! Finally went off to take blood test and vitals.. went to the computer to try and log in.. Nope!!! More issues.. went back to the front desk and another .45 min of nonsense.. More pictures and fingerprints?. They finally said we need to call a tech and reschedule. No Apology and sorry for wasting your time? 0 stars very unprofessional!!!
Why hire a nurse who doesn't care to do their job? I've been going here for over 5 years on and off. My last two visits have been the worst ever! New technician pricked me and it was extra painful, she said it'd be fine, but after telling her of my discomfort, all she did was loosen my arm strap. Once I was done, I bled through my wrap (never have before) and my arm was in pain for an entire week. Today I went for a donation and due to another bad prick (tech was nice but new & the ptsd from my arm prick th
The employees have been awesome. The corporate end sucks. Poor management. Only half was open the day after Thanksgiving. The line to get a bed was over 15 people. It was not moving. I wasted 2 hours there and didn't even donate! Had I waited to donate, it's safe to say that we awere looking at 5 hours. No exaggeration.
If you have to wait on the nurse then I hope you have an extra hour to waste. Had to wait forever just for them to tell me I have to see the nurse about a question. And there's over 6 people wait for the nurse since I first got there.
The whole process is very organized and goes smooth even when the place is super busy. However some of the nurses are rude when answering questions. This particular time, after i completed the donation, I waited for 10 min with the needle in my arm for one of them to take it out. At least 4 different ones came to check on people around me and none checked on me even though the machine is making a sound notifying that it is done. I waved at one and she said that someone will be right with me but then I waite
I love this place! The staff is very friendly . As far as bruising as people mentioning, bruising CAN happen. That doesn't mean that they are terrible at their job. There are new phlebotomists every time I come in. If they have to find the vein again, do t be angry. Although there may be a wait, it's worth helping the ones in need.
The staff is pretty friendly for the most part but my biggest issue is the wait time on busy days. Sunday mornings they have two long lines you have to wait in before you can donate. Only two people work at the check in computers so that takes up lots of time and there's well over a dozen donation machines that are not in use. Clearly this place is understaffed and unprepared for busy work days.
Clean facility and some staff is nice. Wait time is insane and has only gotten worse. They need to figure it out because closing one enter side of donation beds is not the way.
Place full of crackheads man. Make an appointment and still sit in line for a hour. They cut your payout by a lot after new donor promo. Won't return my voice mails or calls for 3 days.
As a long-time donor, I experienced a first at my regular 8AM Saturday appointment. A new person was at screening and to my surprise told me my hematocrit was at 55 and I couldn't donate. When I questioned that reading since I had never been deferred for this, she volunteered that she had rechecked it and the second time it was 60. I asked to see the nurse who also brought over the manager I and was told there were no options for confirming the numbers and they should not have retested the sample. My obviou
The staff here are generally very friendly, welcoming, and focused on their jobs. I feel quite confident that my donation is happening safely and properly. The wait time from walking in the door until sitting down in a donation seat for me has been no more than 30-45 minutes, and usually less than that.
do not come here!! very slow service, and the old black woman in the nursing office was extremely rude. i have never been spoken to like that in my life, let alone by someone of her stature.
I wish I could do half stars as I would like to rate as a 3 1/2 star rating. I like the facility and the people who work there, and I try to get to know each person. In regards to some of the reviews, don't get me wrong, sometimes the wait time can be a while, but I don't think a lot of these reviewers take into consideration, if 30 or 40 people schedule the same donating time, then there will be a longer wait as each person has to go through the same screening process. In addition, the average person ta
You can end up waiting in line for over an hour, only to spend another hour lying on the bed without even starting the plasma donation process due to staff shortages. Even the equipment is painfully slow drawing plasma, even after drinking plenty of water for two days. In total, you're looking at losing up to three hours of your day. In comparison to Villa Park which has better equipment and offers service that's three times faster
Friendly Staff, fast service, easy app and scheduling appointments, appreciate getting paid for saving lives
Always understaffed. Long lines. The people working there are great but there is NEVER enough of them. It's been especially bad the last couple of years. Expect the entire process to take at least 2 hours.
I'm having a hard time giving the business a good review. I LOVE the staff. They all deserve 5 stars, but when I make an appointment for 10:30, I'm not screened until 11:30, and I'm not in a bed about to donate until 12:30, that is very, very poor management. Please get better!!! Edit on 3/8/24 My last experiences have been much better. I am changing it from 1 to 3 stars. If I continue to not have to wait up to 2 hours before I get to the bed, 5 stars are back in their future! Please do not overbook appoi
The center is shiny and new. Everyone is very nice. However, I feel like they may need a little more training. I have given plasma in the past and never had any issues or pain. Today I went and almost at the end one of the workers came over and adjusted my needle - in doing so she punctured my vein. From that point on I was not feeling well. I felt like passing out and throwing up. I looked like I had a jawbreaker under my skin. From that point on the staff (with the exception of one honest person -
Do not go here. On my 3rd donation they messed up my arm and i had to go see a doctor. They basically just stuck the needle in my left arm when they couldn't find a good vein. Been in pain for 4 days since it happened. Right arm isnt as bad, never going back
Horribly under staffed. This is my 4th time here. Made appointment for 10:50am and there is a long line with only 2 people doing the inprocessing. If I decide to stay in this line, I'll be here for a minimum if 3 hours. That's not acceptable. This is always the worst part of the process.
Worst Biolife you can go to, why did I have a appointment at 11:45 and I didn't get seated until 2:20 on a Monday no less. They walk like turtles, joke around while there is literally 25 people waiting. Just go to Villa Park, never have any issues there
The place is very unorganized. Workers do not know how to move the line efficiently. You could have an appointment time set but you don't actually get seen until 30-45 minutes later. Often times I arrive and there's 10-15 people ahead of me waiting to be seen. All with appointments. If you leave because they're so backed up, you cannot come back until the following day, which ends up being the same issue with wait times. How is that fair to people that have work/family? Expect to be there for a minimum of 2
Just had the most wonderful experience at this donation center. The staff is top tier and one member in particular stuck out the most. Ruby was so helpful taking the time to make sure that I understood the process and how I can better my diet before donating. I'll be back for sure because of this staff. Very organized and the lines moves fast. This was AWESOME!!
Bolingbrook Biolfe employee Desiree tech is a wonderful person to have on a pic. She is professional and very knowledgeable at her craft. I enjoy sitting in her area, I know I'm going to have a good stick.
my experiance was pretty fast and easily done thanks to the staff????
This place has been going downhill since I started donating over 4 years ago. The staff has dwindled down to the bare minimum. Lines are exceedingly long because of lack of employees and they can't seem to keep their employees or managers. Management is SO incompetent. I waited 20+ minutes in line when there were only 2 people ahead of me because there was only one person working. Then I get a bed and no managers around at all to do the stick because I have had complications and need an "experienced" person
The Bolingbrook center requires an appointment in order to donate but doesn't care what time you've booked for. I could schedule an appointment for 7PM and walk in when they open at 6AM and be seen, and the center doesn't care about those who want to stick to their appointment time. I've waited for over 1.5 hours many times just to have my vitals checked. The younger staff would rather flirt with each other and joke back and forth than work. There are a few older staff who will pick up the pace. However if
Everyone here is nice. However, making an appointment means nothing. They do not staff properly, and I have waited over an hour just to have the initial check done to donate. On a Monday at 1:00 I have been waiting 20 minutes and they have one person doing intakes. Last week I waited over an hour on the same day and time. They had 2 staff doing intakes. I schedule this on days off and have other appointments to keep. I expect the hour promised not 2.5 hours. I've also had 2 bad pokes which left me bruised.
Shocker- the busy medical facility takes longer than an hour. What the other reviews don't seem to talk about is that this place is very busy and the staff work hard to do their job correctly and safe. It's not THEIR FAULT that BioLife doesn't have more people and you crying at them won't suddenly summon more. Every staff member here deserves AWARDS for the Karen?s and Ken?s they have to deal with. Shut up, sit down, and donate your plasma. Jesus.
I feel staff was trying to work fast. I just wish it was less busy and was able to get a needle in my arm within 15 minutes each time where it is probably more like 30 to 40 minutes. Sometimes it is so busy that I have been here as long as 3 hours from the moment I walk in until the moment I leave. But that seems to be rare. Takes 1.5 to 2 hours each time I come.
Terrible experience when visiting at least 4 locations. Company is horrible overall. They tell you after your new donor requirements are fulfilled, that you'll be receiving $130 per week. For about 5 months my donation pay rate has been decreasing all the way to $95. That is a big pay difference when you were initially promised $130 per week. I also contacted management and they told me this is a corporate issue, but they can't give me corporates information and they won't escalate the problem. So no soluti
Everything from checking in, to starting the process, physical exam and the actual plasma donation was nice and smooth. Everyone was so helpful and answered any and all questions. Even when I was connected to the machine the tech explained everything she was doing from step 1 to the end. She came and checked up on me from time to time to make sure I was ok and comfortable as well. Great place. Great staff. Great experience.
The staff and facilities are great! Despite that, I've about given up trying to donate. I've tried to donate nearly a dozen times, but only been able to donate three times. It's dejecting. I do not test well with blood pressure tests after I've been active during the day. My blood pressure readings are far lower in the morning after sitting for 10 minutes or so when I use my blood pressure cuff. My main sources protein are chicken and fish, but that throws off my protein readings as too high. I misse
Everyone?s attitudes suck here. As a first timer, I was hoping for more friendly people helping and assisting. I wouldn't go back. If you never been here and plan on going, keep your guard up and don't expect any kindness.
This place has gotten worse and worse. First of all I don't understand why I have to make an appointment if I still have to wait an hour before the process actually begins. The line for the finger prick section is outrageous. Y?all need to put a limit on how many people can make an appointment in the same time slot, or take away the fact that someone can show up for their appointment 10 minutes early, it just causes too many problems. I came here one weekend morning right as they opened and I was waiting in
Terrible workers that don't know how to uphold a business. The services suck. They won't even call you back if you leave a message. Nor bother to answer the business telephone line. I called this business over 10 times left multiple voicemails for a call back and still haven't received a call back. For anyone who's waiting on results or needs to be sure there eligible to donate rather than wasting your time an using gas to make it there than to be turned away by computer because so called workers don't ans
The finger stick techs and IV techs are good for the most part, it's the nurses I don't care much for especially some certain ones. This place banned me a few months ago over me answering some certain questions differently from a year ago on the annual questionnaire cause I misunderstood what they were asking and answered differently. They said the decision was final and could not tell me if that would prevent me from donating at other donation centers that are not Biolife. I had some good memories here fo
The wait time is getting extremely high because of low levels of employees, please hire more staff. You are overwhelming the staff you have they are doing a fabulous job
Donating was easy but the experience as a new donor was not the best. I had tried to donate plasma before but ended up not doing so which put into the system. However, when I came back in yesterday I was told I had to see the nurse, even though the Doctor had already released me/given approval. Then after the Nurse gave me approval, I had to go back to the front desk to be "registered". Then I had to stand in line for Temp, BP and blood draw. Once done, I then had to go to the kiosk to answer the questi
I've been coming here for over a month now and have never had a good experience and today was the last time I'll be returning. The staff have no idea what they're doing, they're all young students still learning the ropes and they can't get a good stick to save their lives, and when you try to tell them how to stick you to make it easier for them and more comfortable for you they completely ignore you. So get ready to get stuck multiple times, sometimes in both arms, and leave with your arms hurting. I told
If I get an experienced person doing the ?poke? , I don't get a bruise and can give the 2nd donation that week. About half the time I don't though, so I end up bruised and so can't receive the higher payment amount.
This would be one star if not for the few staff members that work here. Absolutely outrageous wait times have finally pushed me to stop donating. You're expected to stand for 1-2 hours in line just to get a bed and then it's usually another 30 minutes before you start donating. This is all while 20-30 beds remain empty. Staff your locations or accept less people in the reservation system.
Whoever was doing intake screening today needs a serious adjustment. I understand sometimes we have a bad day at work HOWEVER, my friend went there today hoping to donate and had a terrible experience. She was there for an hour all together. This is someone who is very kind overall and has donated blood many times but this was her first time with the plasma donation process. After filling out the questions and getting to the screening portion the woman who was reviewing them with her was talking down to her
I need to come on here and warn future potential patients of the horrific incidents that I have witnessed in my short 3 week donation experiences. The first time I came into donate everything was going okay, until after the procedure started and I was already connected to the machine. I watched a patient get stuck in each arm due to a fail of blood flow and then I watched the same patients arm blow up like a balloon, the staff ignored him until he began yelling for help. They then nonchalantly walked to him
The staff is very kind, efficient, and supportive. The process was a reasonable amount of time, the nurse who did my physical was knowledgable and also friendly, and even greeted me by name at my next appointment, which built a connection.
It was a decent experience with Karen as my phlebotomist. She's can be fun and did a great job inserting the needle. It's a fairly quick process and it nice to give to the ones that need it. So I couldn't donate and when I did they ripped me off for 90 dollars because of there pay period. Rip off scan artists!
I'm not sure what to write. I've had many good experiences, but the last 2 visits the technicians not been able to find the right position for the needle. After my most recent visit, both arms look and feel terrible.
Terrible staff. Inexperienced members, last time a staff never went completely through my vein and I have thick veins, this time I was left with a hematoma. My alarm was going off for 45 mins after I was done and the staff just looked at me and walked away and answered other alarms that started after mine. Ruined whole experience probably will never go back.
I did notice that there was a update to the questioning form since my last visit. Which was an improvement. I was able to get in and out in a decent amount of time. However the process with new-returning donors could be revamped in my opinion... Im sure its a challenge when there's less staff.
I appreciate the excellent service provided by the techs, but I've noticed a need for improvement in the people skills of the RNs. Coordination of services could be enhanced, particularly addressing delays and compensating for extended wait times. This issue has occurred twice in the past month, suggesting a need for a review of procedures and processes by the management. Constructive feedback aimed at improving the overall experience.
Not sanitary, they don't change gloves after blood draw and needle sticks. They touch everyone with the same gloves. Even if the gloves aren't visibly soiled they should be changed whenever there was contact with blood or bodily fluid. This is how diseases are spread. The lines are outrageous? sometimes I wait 3+ hours to just to get a chair. No point in making an appointment if I won't be helped at that time. Staff sometimes isn't the friendliest.
Quick and smooth unlike the other times I've been there..... be prepared to be in and out in 2 hours+. One time I was there for 4 hours, ridiculous. Understaffed, all they need is 1-3 more employees and it would be 10x more efficient. God Bless America.
The people checking in are so rude and do not notify you of reasons why you may not donate. Instead you go through an hour of tests only to find out you can't donate. They could have had a list of reasons before all the testing.
Overall terrible service was ripped of my full donation the app said I still had time the manager their thought otherwise . The girl at the front desk was incredibly rude to me for no reason. Took 1hr to get hooked up to machine while people who where behind me in line where helped first The girl that stuck me did horrible job felt shooting pain through my arm. Avoid at all costs the children that work here are incredibly unprofessional and rude
This location did not work out for me. 1. One of the nurses in the room was rude. And was rushing , not listening to what i say. Not felt welcomed at all. 2. And at the bedside, I was waiting for very long time to start , did not put needle for 20min , though the center was running low in donors that day. 3. Running low on staffs , long wait
This is the latest update BEWARE! THIS PLACE ALMOST COST ME MY LIFE WITH THEIR INCOMPETENCE! Near the end of the procedure after a badly placed needle and too tight of cuff, the nurse in charge ordered it to be stopped. They said it wasn't possible to return my red blood cells and replace my plasma with fluids. The nurse came and told me to sit for 20 minutes and drink some horrible electrolytes and eat a tiny bag of Goldfish crackers. I did. They never checked on me and I left, driving out, I thought I fe
The screening people should be less chatty to each other and move people through. One guy was doing 3 people to the other?s 1. She kept talking and talking to the co-worker. He could talk and work at the same time. She then proceeded to clean her glasses for 5 min. I was so frustrated. What usually take me a little over an hour took me over two hours!
This location is clean and the staff is fine, but the wait is insane. It should be in and out in an hour tops, but I'm lucky if I get out in under 2 hours. Having fewer than 3 screening techs up front is preposterous, but for some reason whoever is in charge cannot seem to figure that out. The workflow is just not well thought out at all, creating horrific wait times.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! The nasty rude nurse that took me back was absolutely atrocious and left me leaving the clinic CRYING. She had the WORST attitude and had not one kind cell in her body. She was a fat black nurse and truly I hope she gets fired, nobody should ever have to feel that bad about themselves when they're simply trying to donate plasma. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, do yourself a favor and take the extra drive to a different location where you'll be treated like an actual huma
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
