I had a great experience at this place. It's very clean. A caring staff that makes you feel comfortable. The needle didn't hurt going in. I was relaxed with no pain the whole time. I say this because I'm usually queasy when it comes to needles and such. They are very attentive and will answer your questions. They have new machines so the process goes faster. They had me in and out. I would recommend this place every time!
I had an appointment at 8am, was checked in super fast! Very friendly service and professional staff. But when I was ready to donate blood, Kwinn got me ready! This man sticked me with that niddle so fast and easy...I didn't feel a thing! Hell, I told him to train me. I done applied for a position. Lol. I want Kwinn to train me when there's openings for a technician. ??
I don't have any complaints about this place. Everyone is kind and friendly. I didn't have to wait very long to get screened or wait that long to get in a chair to donate. It's clean and nice. I started donating in November of last year and there have been times when I was there for over 2 1/2 hours due to long lines and long waiting times but it seems to be like that when you go later on in the day. Overall, I've never had a bad experience here!
Very nice & clean donation center in Bossier! Pretty quick too, the whole process takes maybe an hour. The ladies at the screening desk are always so sweet & friendly, & Kisha is so helpful! Kwinn, Chelsey & Jamie are great on the floor, they know how to stick without hurting you! I had to do a physical & Ellen tried to do it as quickly & efficiently as possible to not hold up the rest of the process. Definitely recommend!
These guys are so kind and patient. The lady who did my physical exam even gave me some beef jerky to make sure I didn't have a reaction. Wasn't able to donate because my veins were too small but the service was so stellar I honestly didn't mind. Definitely coming back as soon as possible!
Ive given several times, and haven't had a bad experience. Staff is friendly, and the environment is clean. Kwinn was the one taking my donation today, and was awesome! He apologized for any wait I had, and had me hooked up and ready to go quickly.
Everytime I've been to this location, I have been greeted upon entry, any questions I have had have been answered and the staff has always been friendly. Usually in and out of there within an hour unless I decide to not eat healthy and the donation itself takes long. Everything is clean, staff is attentive and have not had a bad experience yet.
The Best experience I've had donating plasma. The process was very quick and seamless. The staff was very friendly. especially Mrs. April, that did my physical. Look forward to returning
Kwinn was Great ??, well they all are really kind, nice, and very professional people!!! Go Donate it's for a good cause and put some ?? in your pocket at the same time it's a win win!
I had a great experience at BioLife Plasma. The thing I notice the most is how nice every is there. I love the newness and clean, modern appearance of the facility. It's not drab and old feeling at all. Everyone was very prou, quick and so friendly! I will be back for sure! Shelbi checked me in and the other ladies up front assisted when necessary. Chelsea and Kwinn were super nice, fast and friendly. So glad I came!
I was greeted and treated like a friend even though it my first visit. Every employee that I encountered was very nice and polite. The experience was great! If anyone else would like to join in a quest to others in need, I would highly recommend this facility.
First time I've been up there I was denied because of my documents, cool understandable got the correct documents set up a different appointment went up there for a second time denied again for some BS reason not going back because it shouldn't be this hard to donate plasma in the first place. And this is not my first time donating plasma.
I didn't want to go out my way to make a review but I hope things change when I post this. I've been going to that particular location since September last year and everything was great until today. They moved the line from the front to the side and that was a mistake. One of the workers stood on the side close to me and carrying a conversation talking about the football game to a waiting doner. they got loud and distracting. More people joined in and I was very distracted while I have a needle in my arm tr
Went and signed to donate. Waited for over an hour for somebody to help me. Workers were to busy on Facebook. Not sure if it was bc I was white they didn't wanna serve me or not. It sure felt like that. Don't be white and go in here.
4 visits, little over 10 hours of time. Still couldn't ever donate. Block off the whole day if you plan on donating and don't be surprised if you still cannot donate after getting bounced around for hours. Edit - Spoiler alert! They don't bother contacting you if you fill out the form in their reply. 10+ days and counting now. Edit 2 - It took over 2 months, but someone finally contacted me and gave me the, "Sucks that we sucked," talk. Couldn't do anything about my new donor bonus getting wasted. Couldn'
Considering they seem understaffed, the staff does an excellent job. I went for my fifth donation the other day and was there for 3 and 1/2 hours. The staff was moving non-stop, so it wasn't their lack of work ethic that was the issue. To me it seems like their process could be streamlined a little to make it more efficient. Once I reach my seat I shouldn't have to sit there for 30 minutes waiting to get stuck with the needle and once I've donated my limit I shouldn't have to sit there for another 30 minute
First time interacting with Kwinn and I have to say it was a great experience. Very friendly, knowledgeable and quick. In and out in one hour. Thank you Kwinn.
They keep blowing my husband's veins. They've done it twice now and he was in so much pain he said you would never go back. Sucks because the money is decent.
The Questioniar constantly flags donors. Have to see nurse, already 30 minutes after my appointment. Nurse sends me back to questionsiar. Go through check up, then stand in line for 30 to 45 minutes. Finally donating after over an hour walking through the door. Terrible management. Overload employees by not staffing enough work force. And at least invest in chairs for your donors. Standing 45 min hour is unexceptionable.
Jamie at the Bossier location is the hardest working person I know. Everyone is friendly. It's clean. The nurses are nice. The physical people who take temp etc seem overworked. Maybe hire a few more and make sure to Pay people. People are struggling. This job is not easy and dangerous. Please take care of your employees. They come In contact with every disease people saying they healthy and could be spreaders. Anyway. They all work very hard In Bossier city. Happy New Year Why did I Only get $50 last donat
Bossier City LA - THE STAFF WAS SO FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. They took time to give thorough instructions. The environment as a whole was very nice!
Website issues, the first couple of calls went to voicemail. No call back. Decided to go in person to get information only to be sent to the website. Problems with website. I Called to schedule an appointment since website is broke only to get a very short answer and hung up. I am unsure if the process is complete. Received a text back to a broken website. Very frustrating. Total waste of my time! What a sham! Any way to keep you from earning money to pay for bills! I am trying my best to surviv
As a new plasma donor, I had a mixed experience. While I value the concept of donating, two out of my five visits caused notable complications. One incident involved a painful restick, which resulted in a large bruise and a persistent knot at the injection site. On another occasion, the needle caused significant bleeding, (both times caused by the same person) requiring cleanup on the clinic floor. These experiences, unfortunately, overshadowed the positive aspects of donating. Ultimately, I've concluded th
I come here because i need the money.... the wait is too damn long. On avg its about an hour to get poked from when you walk in. They're understaffed, but they're nice here tho (meh sometimes they give attitude)
The process was so easy and the staff was amazing. They were very courteous and explained everything in n detail. Very clean and very professional.
Terrible experience. No one is capable of telling me why I am ineligible to donate despite being called and told I was eligible. Entire first month donor bonus has been wasted. Their auto reply to this review is pointless. The link they give, no one monitors as I have yet to receive a single call or email from their support.
From the first visit everyone there did everything they could to make me feel welcome and at ease and no matter how long it's been between donations, when I come in, I'm always greeted with a smile. Well, more like several smiles and lots of familiar faces. Getting to know the people that work there is such a pleasure so it never seems clinical or transactional. Everyone seems to effortlessly blend both professionalism and friendliness. ?????
Kiosk either not setup or not acting right take too much time to set u up take too long for them to take you down just standing around talking 2 people working on 1 machine is ridiculous went today and old protein machine said my protein levels was 5.7 went to the hospital and they said my protein levels was 6.3 ion kno if they playing games or what but I'm almost bout done with BioLife
The facility is very clean and staff was friendly, I felt comfortable enough. However it's a lengthy process so be prepared to sit 2+ hours
I started feeling light headed at the end of donating and I mentioned it to staff and many staff rushed over to get my ice packs and unhooked. They got the nurse and made sure I was well taken care of. The amount of kindness and professionalism was top notch and I'd highly recommend going here for the best experience.
Had a great experience, have had a nice easy experience every time I go for the last few months. Clean, easy to understand, and for the most part quick and efficient... as they can be depending on how busy they are.
My wife (who has cerebral palsy) went to donate plasma twice already. First time she was sent away due to blood pressure too high. That's understandable. But the second time she went they told her that because she could not stand on the scale without assisted devices she would not be able to donate. That's a load of crock. She is challenged due to her disability. They didn't have a problem last time. They didn't offer any accommodations for her being disabled at all this time. And I am going to discuss with
$50 FOR THE FIRST TIME IF YOU DONT WAIT ON YOUR PROMO CODE, SHREVEPORT FACILITIES GIVE $100. THEY TOLD ME I COULD USE THE CODEON MY SECOND TIME. WELL I COULDNT I FEEL LIKE I WAS SCREWED ALL THE WAY AROUND.
First time donor process does take a minute so if you are in a rush come back another day. When you have time. They are very thorough with their admin process which is a great thing. Chelseaa was amazing with assisting me through the entire process and I will be back again!!
I started donating years ago as a means for additional funds and then fell in love with the cause/saving lives and I have periodically continued ever since. This is the fifth donation center I've been across two states and it's by far the best experience I've ever had. The staff seems to all get along and that extends to the customers. They greet you at the door with smiles. They are highly personable. I don't recall everyone?s names, but Ms. Carlita was extra attentive and made sure that I felt welcomed an
Staff is friendly, process is smooth and quick, pay out is nice and worth it.
Yesterday I had a scheduled appointment for 5 p.m. I arrived to find the door locked. I called and got no answer so I left a voicemail. No one has called me back yet. Nevertheless, I made an appointment for today and had a decent experience. They are still working the kinks out with professionalism, customer service, and consistent communication with customers and each other. I assume the "kinks" extend to the app and scheduling as well so as to reflect accurate the hours they are actually open and only all
Staff was decent. The lady that did my physical was brought in town from Tyler, Texas to help train. She was by far the friendliest staff member. She made me feel welcomed and appreciated. For plasma centers that's rare. They usually make you feel like they are doing you a favor..lol..I wasn't too thrilled to find out you can't just drop in you must have appointment to donate which won't work for me very often but other than that everything was good. Very convenient location also.
Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Smooth and seamless service.
Went there on 5/11/2025, everyone there was nice and made the process simple.
Was told I could not donate because I lived at a extended stay apartments. Because they came up as a hotel even though the staff doesn't supply you with anything. So they are more like apartments.
I just came over here for my 3rd appointment. 4:15 pm got off work drove thru tons of construction. Managed to get here 10 minutes early and was asked to go back outside because I was to early. It's 97 degrees. I was sitting by the front door where there are easily 10 empty chairs. SMH!! DANG. Probably won't do the whole month here. How rude!
This place is shady and just odd. My Dr. Said I should give blood since my Hemoglobin levels were a little bit elevated. No biggie, I have donated blood/plasma plenty of times in my life and this place was close by. I made an appointment went in at my scheduled time, signed in. Did the initial screening and the computer questionnaire. Finished that and was waiting to see the nurse for a physical, sitting there I was approached by another patient asking if I had been referred by anyone, I said yea my Dr.. th
The ladies & gentlemen employed here make this experience a fulfilling one. The staff ensures all candidates pass a specific criteria before accepting donations. And so far, every phlebotomist I have had has managed to connect first try. All of this and a basket of smiles goes a long way in helping the community. Just know that you are all appreciated. Thanks for being there - sincerely.
The last time i went. Theres a long line. Waited 30 min at the line. When i was finally called to section. I waited almost an hour for someone to assist me. While i was waiting two nurses were just standing around in my section talking with each other while me including 10 others are waiting. So bad customer service!
This was probably the worst visit I've done?. Like it's not a have at the staff that did show up to work they were so overwhelmed it was really clear that management isn't paying attention to staffing shortages/call outs and to how the appointment system works. I made my appointment time and was finally on a bed to do my donation 2hrs after the sites scheduled closed time of 5pm?corporate needs to deep dive this site and their tracking systems to expedite donors and not keep them there for over 3.5 hrs
I thought things were going well until I had to deal with the nurse. She spent 20 minutes wasting my time (hers as well) just to tell Mr because I take suboxene that I would not be donating plasma at her facility. She was very rude from the beginning and only got worse after she found out I was a recovering addict. If they are going to deny people because of suboxene then that should be listed on their website. I checked on their site for meds that I take to be sure it was ok to donate and the site said I s
Day 1 for me; everyone working here was very friendly and helpful when questions or concerns were expressed. Everyone seemed to be happy to be there. That reflects to those of us who will be coming there. Atmosphere is very important. Lots of smiling faces and professionalism in the experience. Keep up that good spirit and I can see myself returning for many more visits. I'm looking forward to it, in fact. Thank you to everyone I came into contact with today! I enjoyed the giving of myself to help others.
My overall experience was excellent. The lady who took my vitals was very nice and thorough?the lady who hooked me up to the machine gently inserted and removed the needle. The process was quick and easy. I plan to continue to donate plasma in the future.
The place is understaffed and the wait took and hour and half. It's hard to keep a schedule when the organization can't staff enough to meet the supply.
Excellent & friendly staff! Dairyland is a great phlebotomist!
Great Staff. And Wonderful Management The phlebotomist really takes time to value there patients and getting me in and out is there priority,, thank you Bio life plasma every donation is a great experience. I refer everyone to go to Bio life plasma center Great Location in Bossier City.??????
This was after my first donation. The person who stuck my tried both arms. Both times someone had to come correct the needle and from what I could recall, the original person did not stick me right. I also overheard them not sticking someone else right. I probably won't be back. I can barely move my arm and might have to go to quick care for treatment.
After my first donation and being put into the system, my following donations have gone as smooth as butter. Stacy, the tech who ran my blood test, was amazing! With her beautiful smile and attractive demeanor and attitude; I felt confident about donating and quite honestly turned on. I'm really excited about coming back to see Stacy, Deja, and all the rest of the beautiful woman that make up the staff at BioLife Plasma Center in Bossier City, LA.
Seems to be a variety of unprofessional staff. Most have a very bad attitude- no people skills. Most had great difficulty finding vein and caused vein problems when trying to stick donors with needles. After damaging my arm 3 times, I gave up on them.
Staff is very good at making decisions for you if a situation arrives and they are very nice and friendly
Very friendly staff! Excellent customer service! Made the donation experience easy and painless. Loved my phlebotomists today. You can tell they are enjoying their environment and job! Well done.
This place is great. Its closer to my home and they are fairly quick about getting you in and out in timely matter. Jeff is the guy that always sticks me and he's very good at it. I do wish the payout was a lil higher but they provide crackers and a bottle of water if you ask them. So Im pretty happy overall with my experiences here so far. I also want to address all these other reviews talking about how this place is shady or about how they've gotten bad needle sticks, First off there is nothing shady abou
Lack transparency. Wasted 3 trips and gas, 3 days in a row. Staff is rude and not forth coming with information. Will not be going back.
Inexperienced "plebotomist" shouldn't stick new donors as donations aren't valid until after 2nd. Over a week old still waiting to heal
Stacy was top notch. Was able to pull blood from my cold finger like no other. She spoke soothing words to calm my nerves. Her eyes were bright and full of life. She was not a vampire.
Because I haven't seen an operation operating at that large of a scale, with such an organized layout to the staff moving in harmony.... just impressed to watch and see. Truely thanks for coming to our community of Bossier City; I hope to see this outreach come across the bridge into Shreveport, LA.... THANKS AGAIN.
A 100% do not recommend it took them 4 hours to do everything my machine stopped 6 times and they hurt the beeping and I raise my hand and everything and they just completely ignored me and I had to wait an extra 15 minutes to see if I had a reaction and I had to let them know it's been 20 minutes since I sat going there I had to wait an hour just to be seen I do not recommend this place at all they are not professional at all
I had such a great experience with BioLife! It's a very professional environment, high tech and extremely clean. A special thank you to Screener Tess. I was nervous but her sweet spirit and kind voice calmed my nerves and made my experience even better!
It's a nice place very organized, Chanel Nicole was awesome, very knowledgeable in the screening area. Lexy My lab tech was great, kind and proficient. Overall, an enjoyable atmosphere ??.
The app works wonderfully and is synced with the debit card that your compensation is placed on after donation. I've had no problems with the app or any of its functionality whatsoever
Overall it was a great experience. Very friendly & knowledgeable staff and clean environment!! However, the ?preceptor? who ?sat in? during my nurse physical was rude. I relayed this information to the manager who said it would be addressed. It was unnecessary confrontation about an as needed prescription medication. Hopefully, in the future, the preceptor is gone & does not affect others in this manner!
Biolife is very thorough. However, in comparison to other places, they take a lot longer to get you in and out. I'm used to about an hour at the one I used to go to. Biolife I spend 2-3 hours. Their hours are limited. Appointments are required but that doesn't seem to help anything.
It's was fast very clean and the staff very nice
I love the BioLife plasma center. Most of the staff is friendly and always has a smile. Most of the time you are in and out quickly unless there is a packed house
Professional friendly and clean atmosphere. I enjoy donating plasma at BioLife.
I give 5 stars cause most of your people are awesome front of house April and Kisha rock back out house Lexy and Jamie are the best and you have a manager there not gonna say no names but has no business in management he let his team sink he even put holes it their floats
I have small rolling veins and they are easily missed and apparently when the phlebotomy missed them her attitude seem to have blamed me for the Miss and her actions were even worse than her attitude she rolled her eyes and walked away
I don't like how rigid the scheduling is. I've been to other plasma donation centers and if I arrive early I don't have to wait. Actually I don't even have to make an appointment. The receptionist was short with me when I inquired why I had to sit for 20 minutes. I was bruised badly my last donation which has made me very leery of attempting again at your center.
Always very nice and professional. The lady that is so helpful I a? for her is named Dairyland. I really enjoy donating. Thanks again.
My experience with BioLife today and for the past weeks has been nothing short of professionalism! Every one is knowledgeable, friendly and just seem to have overall great & positive personalities.
Everyone was very pleasant and the system was well organized and ran smoothly. The first visit does take a while, but there was no dead time of just waiting
Ms. Rhonda was absolutely and completely helpful and very distinguished with the information that she provided for me. She was wonderfully magnificent. Would love to see her again. Your favorite
The girl and did my arm Stuck the needle way through my Vain on my left arm , then the guy did my right arm Stuck the needle through that Vain This is the second time that that same girl has did this to my home. The last time she blew it up lile a Balloon.Sticking the needle through the vein. And it's still did not stop hurting after that I've had trouble with it every sence.
Very good staff and clean clinic.
The wait wasn't long at all and the staff is very professional.
I had a fantastic experience at BioLife Plasma in Bossier City, LA. The staff, especially Nurse Rhonda, were exceptionally friendly and professional. Their welcoming atmosphere made the donation process smooth and enjoyable.
BioLife Plasma Services-Bossier City is a great facility to donate plasma to. I want to recognize Shan and Kersten for the amazing experience I've had thus far. Both work hard to make sure the donors don't go unnoticed. Thank you.
Best place I've ever donated
I think I get Ms Stacey Everytime I come. She is a great person to come to first to get plasma donations. She is awesome and polite I love it. I will always come here and to Ms stacey
Absolutely loved my first experience here today they staff are amazing and very professional! THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!
The lady that put the needle in did a very good job.
Everyone is so friendly and professional. They keep the facility extremely clean as well
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
