I have been to all the plasma places in Tulsa and broken arrow and this specific BioLife has been the best by far. They are more consistently staffed with knowledgeable phlebotomists and they genuinely try to get u in and out. Even on a busy day it's faster to get in and out at BioLife than any other donation center. ??
Biolife in Broken Arrow has friendly and professional employees that make the donation process quick and easy. This location has always been extremely clean and well organized. It's a little cold inside but that's normal. I have my favorite employees but they all are fantastic! I definitely recommend the BA location.
I have been coming to this location off and on for a few years because it's the best. I love how quick I get in and out and the staff is awesome and friendly. I like knowing that I'm helping out people in need while also helping myself. Win win!
I love the staff at the Broken Arrow, OK, location. The manager, Melissa, is a wonderful lady, and I am always in awe of her attentive and caring nature. Her staff is proactive and efficient. The evening manager is very good as well, but I don't remember her name. Thank you for making something a little scary feel like an easy everyday occurrence. Oh, and the nurses are equally as wonderful, with a gentle kindness not seen often. I've got my whole family donating now in their respective cities, so it's a co
The staff here is remarkable. James is my favorite but everyone is so kind and caring. The place is clean, the nurses are helpful. I drive out of my way to come to this location
All the bad reviews in here are correct I too have not been compensated for my time there yesterday. There's only a small few there that know how to stick a needle everyone else ends up leaving me in pain. There was a time I had a pool of blood on the floor from there negligence. Not checking there machines wasn't set up right and it shredded my line so couldn't get my blood back. I get desperate for money when I'm in a bind and go back but after not being paid for my donation this is the last straw fact ch
I donated today for the first time at this facility Positives: it was clean and they had new machines and there was a very nice trainee named Kaitlyn who was pleasant, professional and EFFICIENT. NEGATIVE: Everyone else in the facility that I was in contact with- manager: rude and condescending Staff minus the person mentioned and a nice young lady at the front( I didn't catch her name but she had green hair) I saw one person training smeone was talking down to her which I thought was EXTREMELY unprofessi
Called for help with specific requirements... I understand their policies and requested to speak to a manager for other options. While placed on hold waiting for manager someone picked up the hold and ended call. I called back, spoke to Lisa and explained I was hung up on. She immediately assumed the reason I was calling after I explained I was holding for a manager. The reason she gave me I was calling was incorrect, she continued to speak over me and refused to allow me to speak. In returned upset me. I t
I've been coming here for 2-3 years and I always have the best experience with the addition of bright and amazing phlebotomists. Anytime I see Tracy, Cat, Kirby, Ashley, Maxee, I know I'm in great hands - they're always so helpful and attentive at every turn.
Two stars ? the floor staff deserve five, but the rest of the experience is a mess. Let's start with the good: the phlebotomists and floor staff are amazing. They're professional, patient, and truly kind. They manage a high-stress environment with calm, compassion, and skill. Whether you're a first-timer or a regular donor, they make you feel seen and cared for. If they were running the whole operation, this place would be flawless. Unfortunately, everything else continues to drag the experience down ? an
The phlebotomist I had sticking me this week were both very good. The first one was so fast I didn't have time to react and she stuck it in perfectly. My second visit that week, he wasn't quite as fast, but he did a good job as well.
The incompetent phlebotomist used the wrong sized needle for me (I have smaller veins). The phlebotomist who put the needle in my arm was very unprofessional, cussing and gossiping with her colleagues while setting up my station. My vein ruptured and I got hematoma and it left a nasty bruise. I was very vocal about the fact that it was hurting every time I squeezed my hand, but they told me to just keep squeezing and to do it faster. The machine beside me kept stopping and starting back up again, over and o
Tracy is awesome makes me feel comfortable and was training Angelina and she was doing awesome in her training would def recommend these two and the broken arrow facility
Ridiculously long wait times. They don't want to spend money on an appropriate amount of nurses so there was only one when I showed up to donate. Took over an hour to just get screened before I could even start my donation. If you're in a hurry go to the Tulsa office.
I wouldn't waste your time. The facility is nice but there service is terrible. They keep lowering your money every week and they are always short staffed
Everyone was great until I encounterd the "asian" women (has two music notes behind her ear. Everyone ELSE WAS CALM, she was moving so fast. First, she flings the tubes that carry blood on my leg, then she unwraps some thing and throws it on my pants, (maybe she was aiming for the trash) does not even apoligize. When It is time to insert the needle, she did it so fast! I was so uncomfortable. I WILL RATHER WAIT THEN GO WITH HER AGAIN. EVERYONE ELSE HAS BEEN GREAT, super welcoming and calm when instering the
The staff is very friendly and they are very efficient. The staff work very quickly to get you in and out of there. It was the quickest/easiest $90 I've ever made! The whole process took about an hour and a half so I practically made $45 an hour. ??
Super friendly and personable. Took care of me quickly and efficiently. Hands down great at their job.
Overall most the employees are great. The whole experience is easy and over within an hour most of the time.
My experience has been very good. Everyone is polite and courteous. I have never given plasma before until recently, but it has been a positive experience for me.
Tracie was amazing and personable. I love the cross wrap at the end too
The staff are very professional and nice. They take good care of the patients are very attentive to their surroundings.
The building was very clean and welcoming, and the staff where helpful and kind. The entire experience and atmosphere is pleasant all around.
Fantastic experience, everyone was very professional and just full of information. I appreciated the patience they had as a new donor at their location. Ashley is great at getting veins!
How are you going to tell me from 4 years ago they transferred from paper to electronic but have no documentation on file but yet my account has a deferred! I drove an hour just to get told I can't donate! Very frustrating!
I have a 3 time cancer survivor in my family donating is more than the money. The customer service her by 4 people is 10/10 the other entire staff zero. They joke about how the phones don't get answered ignore emails. It's just not a serious environment I'll be looking for a new center.
Love love Biolife! Facility is super nice and clean, all the staff are friendly and good at what they do, never a bad minute there. The process moves quickly.
A pleasant experience. My experiences with Biolife have always been positive. They have always been efficient and work hard to make the process as smooth as possible.
Tracie at the Broken Arrow location was fantastic! Very efficient and personable and a pleasure to work with.!
Most of the associates here are very kind and informative. I had one staff member who I found to be rude but overall the experience was great, especially Nate he's so nice and willing to inform you on anything you may not know. The process is long but I appreciate the opportunity to help others.
As a first time donor I was actually kinda nervous, until I walked in. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable, super friendly. They got me in and out in a very timely manner, all the while being professional and thorough. The atmosphere was great, and the facility was very clean making my visit a great one. I would recommend it to anyone interested in donating.
I have visited both locations in the Tulsa area and they are extremely clean, efficient and they provide excellent service. I've visited at different times and the staff is always friendly. They talk with you, make sure you're comfortable and always checking in. Highly recommended :)
Staff is friendly, easy to talk to. Some stick me very well.
It was very easy to navigate their app and to donate. I highly recommend!
Where do I even begin? They overbook appointment times by alot. This is a regular issue. Stuck there for hours longer than necessary because of it. On top of that, every time I go there, their staff struggle to stick veins correctly so now I am bruised all over. And this last time I couldn't even donate because they messed up so bad. So now I look like a junkie and didn't even get paid for it. Go there at your own risk. One picture is from today's and the other is from last week. One on each arm. So done.
My 3rd time coming and have been great experience so far.
The staff here is very professional and generally very nice and personable. It's always clean and they do a good job at poking you or getting help if they can't. However, the last few times I've been in I have had to walk out before I got a chance to get in a chair and be poked because the wait times are so incredibly long even with appointments. That's pretty frustrating and I don't really understand it. It would be five stars if it didn't take 3-4 hours for a donation without a physical ??
Friendly staff, very helpful with questions and gave clear instructions that were easy to follow. The facility was clean and the wait wasn't bad for my first time, I'll definitely be coming back.
Great experience from start to finish. Mina did an excellent job making my first visit at BioLife enjoyable.
Very rarely is there not a long wait. Required to make an appointment but never are able to get in on time. Had a 2pm appointment and didn't even get to be screened until 3 (several people in line just left). Our time is valuable. The majority of the staff is short and unfriendly towards donors and seem like they hate their jobs. Unwilling to take the time to explain or answer questions. Compensation is not as good as other companies I have been to over the years and promotions are few and far between. When
This is a very clean and efficient facility. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The wait time can vary depending on how many people have made appointments but overall not overly long.
Very frustrating. Last week two workers did not show so the lines were crazy?took 3.5 to get in and out. Today, the lines were a bit better but then it's get your station snd wait some more. When i was finished donating I waited 30 minutes before someone unhooked the machine. I watch several people come in after me and they left before me?? I love donating and helping others but maybe more staff would help. The waiting is becoming a deal breaker, I wish they respected our time more.
Clean, comfortable and reliable. They are really good. Sometimes it's frustrating because yiu wait a little long to get a bandage on when done. But they work hard so hard to get to everyone in a timely manner! Friendly group of workers and they are fun to watch work. They really care!
Sat for almost 5 hours for my physical and got everything done but then had to leave due to timing. They said it could be another couple hours to actually donate. They promised I could come back in 2 days to donate to get compensated. When I went back to donate they said my physical didn't save in the system and that I had to start all over again and redo physical. So I wasted all of that time for nothing. **updated** no one ever called me to discuss my experience so the comment to my original review was
Over all a pleasant experience. Never really have any issues .
The doctor on duty April , lemme tell ya was AWESOME! ?? she was reciting for five minutes information I needed while she was doing other tasks on the computer that needed to be done. Her multitasking skills were definitely on point! Also she helped make this experience so pleasant. Then the phlebotomist Alex,? super nice smooth helpful. All the above. Came with snacks protein drink water and smiling faces
On 8/24/24 This place was so crowded I almost left. My appointment was for 9:30a.m. I didn't get out of for about 3 hours. I understand you have staffing problems however, overbooking is really not good I won't do that again just FYI. I know we get paid for our time and plasma, we show up and you don't have the staff to handle all the appointments that were made is really not a good situation. It's taking advantage of people's time and kindness some of us don't do it for the money. Another thing there is
The facility is super clean and I love that the machines show you your progress as you are going along. The cycles are short so the process doesn't take as long to complete!
Times and prices are getting higher and higher...the cost of just basic living is impossible if you're an actual citizen of this country. Went in hoping to get a little extra grocery money. First time ever,I thought I'd at least get enough to live on for a few days....but $40? Appointment was at 2:30,I didn't end up leaving until almost 7pm...and all that for $40?! I know they make a killing off each bottle, don't understand why they pay so little, it's honestly not worth it. $40 great, now I can buy a loaf o
I would like to say some positive things about a few key staff members at this location. Ashley is kind, professional and does an excellent job!! Maxey is also very friendly, approachable and does everything she can to help the donor feel comfortable and she is very efficient. Tracey saved the day today! I had had a blood loss a couple weeks ago. Today I was at risk for another blood loss. She went above and beyond and made sure that did not happen! She could?ve let me go with a blood loss but she utilize
Appointment times are being overbooked or they are understaffed or both. A huge line is forming outside on a regular basis. And 2 other lines inside. It is not unusual to wait over an hour just to get to the back to start your donation.
BioLife is a great place for anyone trying to donate they are welcoming to new donors with care and support if you want to try donating plasma it's easy and doesn't hurt I recommend trying at least once
I didn't have a ?bad? first experience donating plasma, but not really a ?good? experience either. I had made a late afternoon appointment and expected it to be pretty lengthy with all of the questions and new donor stuff to input into the system yada yada. I was there for over four hours. A lot of back and forth and what felt like miscommunication or confusion between staff. After check in and sitting in the waiting room, they brought me to a second room to go over health stuff. Then back in a different wa
Tecs are excellent. But physicals are supposed to be good for a year. My next physical is due May 26. My last physical was May 27 last year. With no warning, today I was not allowed to donate during my scheduled appointment because my annual physical is due in 24 days. I donate twice a week and could have easily been informed that I am required to complete paperwork a month in advance. My doctor does not fill out such forms without an appointment. The earliest appointment is 18 days away. These forms could
I had no problems coming here. The staff was very patient and polite even with unruly people. Once I got it figured out I was in and out with ease. Didn't have a single issue once. I appreciate all of you. Thanks for helping me pay off my car too!
I have been coming to this establishment for years and love it. It is very clean and well kept. Grace is one of the phlebotomists there and has the best attitude, personality, and is always willing to help others. She carries herself with great professionalism and confidence. I've seen her training others several times and she shows patience and understanding. Be sure to ask for her when you go,
I would like if the personnel were more friendly - they literally act like they hate their jobs. And the wait times are over an hour to get to a bed?why dont they over you a chair to sit while waiting. Standing for an hour for $40. How can someone feel they are doing a good thing when treated poorly?
On my first visit, everyone was sooo helpful and treated me so I felt very welcome. Hats off to Anita and Jimmy. Anita was so helpful in my getting things going and Jimmy was the tech who hooked me up and made sure I was comfortable while giving plasma. Everyone else who helped was also very kind but don't know their names. Being I am 82 years old, I had to go in before my first donation. Jill was sweet and made me feel welcome. Just wanted to let you know how well I was treated.
They also increased the amount of plasma they take WITHOUT proper comparison. I went from 880 to 1100. An increase of almost 30 percent for nothing extra.5/13/25 It shouldn't take this many calls in order to get someone to ask a simple question. Not to mention donations amount based on center activity AND app activity. Center I get but app I don't. Why would I use yo app for other stuff than making appointments. That is ridiculously stupid to base someone pay off of that
This place is clean, professional, they move fairly quickly. I believe with a few more employees to just unhook patients, they could be even more efficient and move people out more quickly! Staff is always helpful and friendly! Alex is amazing!!!! She deserves a bonus!!!
I cannot express my disappointment enough with the donation center. While the people there seemed nice and the atmosphere was pleasant, my recent experience has completely shattered any trust I had in their services. After 7 years of donating plasma without a single issue, the other night turned into a nightmare. When I raised concerns about experiencing pain during the donation process, the staff nonchalantly brushed off my distress. To make matters worse, the site where the needle was inserted swelled up
Facility clean. SOPs satisfactory. Process time could be anywhere between 1-3 hours depending on staff availability, new patients and sense of urgency. The payout is ultra low and not worth the time spent and precious fluids we donate. Lastly on my 5th visit they allowed a new girl to poke me, I never will donate again cause that will be the first and last time ever I will suffer a hematoma situation.
In and out, tech was good, very little pain from needle stick, machine worked properly. Great experience. I've had other times I left with bruises from the needle stick, was miserable. But this time was smooth no issues.
BioLife is usually a clean, friendly environment. All the technicians are nice and know what they are doing. Only complaint is that they need more staff there is always a wait and I also wish they would bring back the childcare area.
Had to wait an exceptionally longer period than normal waiting to be unplugged.... most green staff members have difficulty sticking me correctly and the 1 seasoned plebotomist stretched very thin to accommodate request to stick correctly in the 1st place.
Always understaffed. Always leaves bruises. Asked how plasma helps people. Didn't get an answer.... I work in blood banking and all the hospitals I work with never get plasma from biolife. From my understanding, If they pay us for plasma they can not legally transfuse it into another person..... ..... .....
This location has been great when I go for my visits and that's why i didn't give it a 1 star but my boyfriend went in for his first time today and did not have a good experience. Once he laid down on the bed it went downhill. First the person who stuck him kept saying she didn't want to do this and kept saying she was nervous. It's already nerve wrecking to go but to have a nurse saying that in front of you makes it so much worse. Then halfway through some other person came to check on him and adjusted the
The staff here are SO nice. They phlebotomists- in my experience- know how to do their job. They slide that needle in like a knife through butter. This place is very clean and seems to be well organized.
This is my second job, and the satisfaction of helping others. Todays prices has effected everyone so every little bit helps. Sylia, Ashley, and Sunny is the best stickers there. Feel free to ask for their assistance.
One thing i hate when its very busy and people been waiting a hour and a half in line and you got something to do after or go home to kiddos they let newer donate cut in line i feel like when its very busy they need to wait to. I ended up leaving cause i was the first in line then nope. And two i send my husband and never got the referral fund. But other then that i like employments and everything.
Wait times can be long (about 1 hour from scheduled time until the needle is in), and you do feel like cattle, but they have their processes down. Almost all the staff is very friendly. I'm usually ?stuck? by Tracie, who is always personable. Plan on 4 hours for your 1st appt, and 2.5-3 hours normally. Lost one star because they're usually so busy you're waiting a lot before and after you're done.
Great place to make some extra money. This location is clean and professional. The staff all do a great job but Cynthia asked me to do a review before anyone else so I hope she wins. For real though, she does a great job.
Sasha does an excellent job of getting me locked in every time! My finger print doesn't work so I have to manually sign in with the help of the employees & Sasha is there to help every time I walk in before I have to say hello or anything! Timpest is also very professional & friendly she guided me every step of the donation process. Honestly all of the employees here are AWESOME! Thank u for all u do!
Silvia rocks when it comes to sticking me , runs smooth. Great staff, friendly, and clean. They have different specials going on every month. Open 7 days a week. Come check it out ??
While my experiences have been great, I've referred 2 people in the last 6 months and BOTH times I've not gotten my bonus. I've called and 800 number and the local center ?.no response ever!! I will stop going because of this! That's $300.
The staff is amazing! They are friendly yet quick. The site is very clean and I always feel comfortable and welcomed.
I just recently went over 100 donations. Everytime has been a great experience. I have had Maxee assist me in donating several times. She will always take the time to answer any question I have and each time I come in she remembers me. It just makes the experience great and I look forward to the next time I come in.
Ashley S. is an amazing person & greatly skilled at her job !!!?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ??
Would give this place zero stars if I could. Whoever is in charge of the schedule needs additional training or released from the company. The average wait time is 4 hours (read other reviews or go find out for yourself if you don't believe me) which is absurd. They are over booking the schedule and this is an easy fix but for some reason they don't want to. The manager needs to have a team meeting and set a reasonable number of how many they will see in a day and DO NOT budge on that number. The longest som
I always have a pleasant time here, especially when Steph is taking care of me. She is always so kind and enjoyable to be around, and also great at the needle stick. She really makes my time here worthwhile, and is one of the main reasons I keep coming back.
Today at 10:00 I walked right in was screened immediately. No line to donate, it was a very good experience. Grace is a wonderful employee and very professional. Kevyn is obviously a good trainer. Would like to see more staff as the wait time is not normally as short as it was today.
Didn't know helping saving a life can risk your own. Be informed
Casha (not sure if I spelled it correctly) was so awesome. She's the only one (since I have been donating) that had found my vein in my left arm. She was so nice and did an awesome job
I had a great first experience at BioLife. I gave for 1 month - once a week. The promotion was great - $125 each week for 4 weeks. I just wish there were more bonuses and promotions for people who can only give once a week. All the ones I've seen since I started are for giving twice a week.
Rude and unprofessional, had an appt at 3pm on Sunday and they close at 4pm. Fat lady with glasses turned me away cause it was near closing. Lazy and didn't feel like doing anything. Go to BioMat instead of here. Will not be back!
I've gone to BioLife for years now. Never had any issues. It's clean & everyone is super friendly. Candace did amazing sticking me today! I had no issues. She's so sweet & personable! Great experience
My husband and I have been donating for a little over a year. All good experiences. The wait time can be longer if you go during busy hours. Luckily I usually go mid mornings.(mon/wed) Staff is friendly and professional. The facility is clean and well maintained. The money is helpful and convenient to have immediately on a card. The app though isn't very good, it kicks you out a lot. But after a few tries I'm able to schedule an appointment. My kids love coming to the playroom during the summer. They like
I've showed up THREE TIMES trying ti donate and they didn't tell me I wouldn't ever be EVER be allowed to donate because of ptsd?! Like you could have told me the first time I drive and hour three times I've wasted 6 hours of my life not including having to deal w them. I HATE THIS PLACE.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
