After going through the checklist I have all my documentation and as I enter, the lady behind the desk ask ?Can I help you?? I told her I was a new client check in. She told me ?Do you have your social security card?? I told her I have all of my documents on my phone and she said? You have to have a social security card. Go sit in there!? I have decided never to be talked to like that way ever again. I would suggest training for her so she could learn people skills. I know I will never return
I came to this location about a month ago when I first started donating plasma. I chose this location due to convenience but mainly due to all the good reviews and I'm so glad I did. I love the staff at this location. When I came about a month ago to do my first donation all the staff was very informative and friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions and let me know how the process works. It made me feel very at ease and since everyone is so friendly you know that if something comes up or you
I came in a bit ago to donate and received a really friendly welcome from Gabby. I freakin love her. I came up to get my blood checked and she and I immediately hit it off. She initiated conversation and made me feel a lot better about the whole process. Hyping up the center and reassuring me that everyone there is there to help. Again, loved her to death.
This location needs better techs, the girl working on January 21st @ 4:30pm did NOT have the knowledge, skills or experience to safely and correctly do this procedure. She damaged both arms, blew out multiple veins, caused severe bruising and hematoma in both arms. Went through the veins on both arms, caused blood to bubble under the skin, extreme swelling and now days later, there's still bleeding inside the arms and severe swelling on both sides. She didn't secure the needle, because of the huge bubble of
When I call to ask a question, no one answers the phone. The recording says to leave message and they will call back , NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK. When I donate, the wait is often long because of short staffing. Please! Hire or schedule more more people to work. And you should ALWAYS have at least one person at the front desk to answer the phone and do intake process on New Donors. The people are friendly, courteous and respectful, there's just not enough of them. Location: Burleson, Texas.
I seen open spot the day I wanted to donate, scheduled my appointment online through there app. I drive about 30 minutes to get there . The app says my next physical is in July, but when I get there ,go to sign in and it says physical required. So I ask them what's up with this , ohh sorry were having issues with our app and we don't do physicals after 2 , my appointment time was at 215. So yeah after waisting my time and gas to get there . I'm told to pretty much to blank off . I'll find some place better
This is the last time I'll go to this location. First visit apparently they have different procedures from the one that I generally visit I was called out rather quite rudely and in a loud tone of voice to see my number. I said I don't have a number and she said you need to get a number and I said they didn't tell me that just told me to get in line. Driving from Fort Worth I got here one minute before Grace period. Ended on my appointment and was told rather rudely in front of the whole room to stand right
? have been donating since December 2024. I have to brag on the entire staff. From mini physical to exit. Everyone has been friendly. I have never gotten a bruise at the site.. which I was concerned about because in the past I bruised easily.. keep up the great work.
The Staff ?? Here Are Awsome they're friendly very welcoming awesome but There is A Guy Named Alex Nava He Is So Dang Awesome Its Like Having A Big Brother At The Plasma Center & Heather Dominguez Is Like the Auntie Of The Place ??
I don't like dealing with new staff because some are not trained properly. I like when you go in and they stick you one time and not a few. It's not fair when you get bruised and it's their fault. That's why I did not come back for 2 years. This time he was professional and did it right the first time! Thank you. Front desk needs to be more friendly and welcome donors. The nurse was awesome!
I have been here twice now and based on my experience and the recent reviews of other donors I have decided I will not be returning. If they want people to donate, they are going to have to seriously change up their process. My last visit was very disappointing. I decided to return after being deferred over a year ago for having a tattoo too recently (which I understand, but what I do not understand is why this information is not more available and why I had to come in and get almost all the way through a 9
The staff is really great and attentive they always have good music playing which helps with anxiety if that's something you struggle with like I do. Shut out to Toby for helping me out when my arm was giving me problems.
Toby does an excellent job of making my time and process as easy and smooth as possible. The dude is a people person for sure, very outgoing and confident at his job.
The staff at the Burleson office are friendly and good at their jobs. Sage checked me in , and Amelia was my technician. The stick was painless and I was in and of the center in less than an hour. I would recommend this center to anyone.
Been donating about a year, always love just about everyone. About a month ago I came in and they were having a stressful morning, the short Asian bald guy who is normally super laid back, and Jocelyn (team lead, heavy set Hispanic who parts her hair down the middle). I asked Jocelyn (Jocelyn or Josie, something like that, I am horrible with names) if they were having a rough morning and she said yes, which I am use to most of them complaining about being unhappy there, so I said why is it so stressful,
The workers are very helpful and friendly every time I come in. The place can be busy at times but they still work digitally to you in and out.
Phlebotomist barely cleaned the insertion spot and just inserted without paying attention. Cut off blood flow to the rest of my arm, making me have a reaction. The doctor wasn't any better, finding any excuse to blame me even though I did everything right. And he treated me like I was a burden, like he just wanted me out, but if I kept saying I didn't feel good when he asked me every 2 seconds, he couldn't let me leave. Wouldn't recommend going here if you've had problems donating before at all.
I'd been going there for quite some time with little issue, until this happened. The girl who did this always made me nervous when poking me because she just doesn't seem to know what she's doing. This happened because she forgot to turn the blood pressure cuff on before poking me (that's pretty basic knowledge). I even said HEY this cuff isn't on and she said ?okay? and stuck me anyways. When I tried to tell management a few weeks later, the man did not care at all. He rudely brushed me off. My parents hav
It was my first time going in to donate. I get there and the lady with reddish hair was extremely rude to me and another man. She was so rude that I canceled my appointment right there! I will never be going back to this facility because of how terribly I was treated. How can I trust that I will be properly cared for if from the moment I get in I am treated extremely rude!!? 0 out of 5 stars. Whoever the manager is should fire her on the spot asap before her terrible attitude pushes more potential donors aw
My experience has been good so far. I've been going since May. I didn't like that when I tried to switch my days it would not let me unless it was more than two days out, so I actually lost $95 (which was my second donation day) because the way the promotions are set up/ or how you have to space out your days. I should be able to change my days with the required day in between. Also the promotions aren't that great I've gotten 35/85 one time and after that it's been 40/95. Ya I get points when I donate but
I have never really had an issue with this facility until recently. The last few times I have visited this facility I was deferred due to iron too low. I understand it happens however this last time I asked for someone else to read my iron and on another machine and it read fine. I know my iron is not low because I take a iron supplement daily. I was still deferred because it was keyed in as low when it was not. I spoke to a manager because it only seems to happen with this particular person that is doing t
I'm a new donor and they were not able to stick me but Miss Megan did fabulous got me on the first try she's amazing
I had a great experience today was my first time donating they were very kind and informative and made me feel welcomed and comfortable
The staff is extremely welcoming and professional. They will answer all questions and make sure you're comfortable.
Waste of time, got all the way through the the physical just to find out that I can't donate cause I'm allergic to cats. I take am allergy medicine that makes my allergy not a problem but seriously that has to be the dumbest excuse. I wasted over an hour and gas to be just told no because of a minor allergy like, tell me how that makes sense at all.
I have been donating for a few months to receive the promotional $800. Never had anything worth mentioning but Katie?s bad mood just cost me $90 so I guess I do now. Went in Friday, was stuck by Katie in both arms because the first one she did so aggressively it swelled up. I've never had anyone hurt me as badly as this time and apparently it was too bruised to donate today, Sunday, costing me $90. Apart from that, some of the techs conversations are unprofessional and wait times are insane sometimes. 3 sta
I understand that your clinic has staffing problems but if you're going to make people stand for an hour + please provide chairs. I was offered water instead. Thanks, but i already had to pee! ??
I would've rated it higher but the past four times I've been there even though I'm finished before other people I'm left waiting after them to be unhooked and ready to leave. Don't really understand it.
I went to my first appointment and went through the entire process. Sat down in the chair she finds two veins in each arm then calls over the nurse and he says they can't touch my left arm because there is a tattoo around the vein. They should have done a vein check at the beginning first off and not wasted 90 mins of my time. Also it never says anywhere on any of the forms I filled out that they can't take plasma from an area close to a tattoo. The nurse was extremely unprofessional by mumbling through the
My last couple visits were great. This location (Burleson) has improved customer wait times since I started coming a few months ago. I love the staff here, too; lots of character and a family feel. My wife and I often plan mini ?dates? to go donate and say hello to staff who ?stick? us. Maybe that sounds weird, but it's just a fun atmosphere for what is otherwise not usually considered a fun experience.
Sage at the font desk, is Wonderful!! i donated 3 times so far and he has been a great help to me and my referrals. He is so appreciated and I genuinely feel he needs more Recognition and Appreciation in the work place. i plan to be back! i hope he gets blessed by his manager foreal??????
Fast and friendly, the lead tech that helped me was super friendly and sweet. Jocelyn helped me through the process and literally did not feel her stick me, so good at her job! Thank you so much jocelyn!
Do not recommend going to this place they send you away over and over because they're obviously not good enough to draw from veins that are not bulging outbof the skin. Crazy left went to another and in and out in matter of 45 minutes
Such a clean facility, and it's pretty quick. Definitely recommend if you need a little extra to get by until payday.
The staff are very friendly, the pay is good, the wait is short, and it only takes me 30-40 minutes total in and out.
Make sure that your computer system doesn't lie to your donors on the financial portion of donating. It's scheduled me for a first-time 40, second time $70 donation. When I came for the second time 2 days later it changed and only gave me a 45-dollar option. It cheated me out of $25. When I brought her to the attention of the lady at the front desk she basically says it was a computer error, acted like it was no big deal and did absolutely nothing to make it right. If BioLife offers that 40/70 option it sho
The 5 stars I am giving are directed to the staff, specifically Christi! She was super sweet and attentive! Also has a light hand! Thank you. I would like to give a 1 star to the stewardship of the appointments. I was there for 2 hours. I usually am there for 45min at the most, something has been so off about the scheduling. The lines are ridiculously long!
This place is sorry, Service here is so terrible they'll have you waiting for ever for nothing. The people who stick you don't give a shit when they stick so they try to restick you or they'll threaten with a deferral this place needs better people
Thru my observation during my many visits at this location, I have come to witness and believe to be factual, that there is a huge lack of training and education. The employees that are doing the sticking, are not gentle and actually have no empathy for the pain they've caused you. Not to mention if they fail to hit your vein then it's sorry about your bad luck because they don't seem to care that you are now inconvenienced, have to reschedule and leave without the pmnt, that for many is the reason they wer
If you have been thinking about donating plasma this is a great facility for donation. The people were friendly but keep things moving at a quick pace (the process takes a little bit). I would recommend bringing a blanket or jacket, it get so cold while your donating.
I appreciate what they do and the staff have been kind, but the company has terrible communication practices. I made an appointment via their app for an appointment after a six month break. Show up only to be turned away for not having a new physical. Why didn't they tell me I needed one before hand? So, I later book an appointment for a physical. Turned away yet again, but this time, for not having my social security card. Once again, why was I not told about needing this ahead of time? Whether by a person
I have been giving plasma for several months now and the people are friendly and very considerate to make sure you are doing okay during the process.
I have been donating blood here for almost a year. I've had my issues with this place, bur I've overco e them, until..my last visit. I came in and the screen shut me out, and I went up to the front desk. The little guy with long hair to his shoulders is annoying!! He doesn't have a poker face at all, you can tell he hates his job!! He isn't anything, he is just a blob. Not helpful. So finally when he is ready to deal with you, I had to give blood or Mt last results were not good. I don't know, because he do
Why are there appointment times, they mean ABSOLUTELY nothing. Set appointment time for 0830, walk in line to get vitals checked is back wrapped around, line for getting into a chair is wrapped around the other direction, don't get into a chair until sometime after 10am then sit in chair for another 30-45 minutes before someone comes to hook you up to a machine, end up being there for 3-4 hours....make it make since...hire more people who will come in to work and use both sides of building or adjust your ap
I love this location. Alicia is polite & very professional during the screening process. The interaction with most of the staff has been amazing. Amelia, Alexis, & Christi are a few of my favorite. They are all so sweet & amazing at their job. There is 1 employee (Toby) that comes off a bit cocky, and his demeanor just rubs me the wrong way. I try my best to not sit in his section if I can help it.
It would help if they answer the damn phone. Especially when you know someone sitting at the front desk, if not two people sitting!
When I tell you , they are so discriminating against African American women. I went in on a Monday on Veterans Day. Literally no one is here. The lady after me got settled in , it's ridiculous. I normally go to the Bryant Irving location, but I not at all happy about this location. I came in on time at 5:05 pm I'm still sitting here in my seat at 5:39. There is at least 6 people on the floor. Honestly, I'm glad I don't have to depend on plasma. I just wish this area in general grow , there's no reason to d
My experience in terms of getting through the line and being screened took longer than it should have. I waited over 30 min. Mostly, that was due to new donors skipping everyone already in line but still, 30 min or more in my opinion is a long wait time to be standing. In my opinion there should be chairs provided for the donors who are waiting to be screened. I understand the Burleson, TX location is short staffed at the moment but that is a long time to wait. In terms of being seated I had to wait around
They don't answer the phone for nothing and the front desk lady is very rude even in person she is rude yall need to do better
The staff is made of the nicest people I've ever met. Facility is clean and very well put together. Always a totally positive experience!
I've found that the staff is over worked which causes a major delay in the process and a lot of bad attitudes. I didn't catch her name ( heavy set african american young lady) but she acted as If she was a manager which surprised me because she was oblivious on how to properly address people that are donating. I watched her address a gentleman in the most unprofessional way and then had the nerve to be surprised and offended by the reaction she received from her actions. Not everyone donating is out of work
Jocelyn was so relaxing and reassuring for my first time donating. I came in a little nervous, but that didn't last too long after having conversation with her. Not only did she greet me with a smile, but gave me multiple tips on how to donate more effectively. She was such a sweet woman and I always hope to see her every time I come in to donate. Thank you Jocelyn!
Very long line at 5:25 when I finished my entry questions; very long line but still got sat before 6, and stuck and done before 6:35. Y?all are fast, efficient and I cannot say enough about Christi and Hayley. Anytime I'm stuck and have an issue, regardless of her sticking me, Christi is go to and gets me sorted quick. Hayley is friendly and fun and makes the experience more relaxing on entry.
This center is amazing! Very clean and concerned about your well-being. Every staff member is great, but Abresha is so sweet! She's like a friend, I feel like I've known her for years! And Toby is the best. Very efficient, and always has a smile on his face. He keeps the place lively! 10/10 recommend.
The staff is friendly, I love the young woman at the front desk with the glasses and peppy attitude, she's wonderful. However both times that I went, I had hematomas in both arms, and am now suffering from a two-week Plus rash or reaction that won't stop itching. I had a reaction to something and it is driving me crazy ??
I'm a new donor to BioLife and let me tell you, this facility is clean and the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. They are eager to get you through the process and out of the door as quickly as possible. Toby was the only person at the front desk when I was there. He was able to assist me and others at the same time in a efficient manner while maintaining good customer service. I could tell he is able to manage himself well during stressful situations. Overall, it was a great first-time experience.
You guys are absolutely awful. I had a medical issue come up and you dodged my calls, as I was scared to drive for a while. Why would you not touch base and at least discuss things with a donor who had a complication. I donated all the time, and now I refuse to go back as I feel I am.just a number and your care for donors are non-exsistant
Hire more staff so it does not take 3 hours to donate. Many people want to donate so if all the chairs were being utilized on both sides of the building, I would be more likely to donate more often. The staff was very friendly and polite, there is just not enough of them.
I've been coming here for a few years and everyone is always so great no matter what's going on. Toby has been the one to stick me my last few visits and he is always fast and efficient. He's also very professional but in such a good mood and laughing and joking and it's contagious and makes you feel good. I give this guy 5 stars and encourage him to keep up the great work Toby and thank you for making this such a pleasant experience
Very friendly and I really enjoy the professionalism of the employees. Tobby is one of the employees that is friendly and informative and also shows professionalism in the center.
Just wanted to give Christi a shout out! She does a great job moving around the floor and attending to the guest. She is super helpful with the staff as well. I see her training, guiding and educating the new staff as well as the veteran staff. She also displays the perfect demeanor for such a busy location. She works calmly, is always professional and pleastant to insure that everyone it taken care of.
I've donated at the center since they've opened there's a couple reasons I'm leaving one star they've poked my arm told me I was going to get paid money and I got paid nothing and for that I got a $15 coupon and then I've gone in today they sent me home with another coupon without letting me donate but it counted as a second donation that I did not get paid for again no money even though it says I donated and I have to wait a whole week again and that don't want to help you even though they could have
Christie is the best there is. Always painless pokes. She is also the conductor of the whole donor floor. Making sure everyone takes lunch and there's coverage and you can tell she has love and passion for what she does.Hard to find that these days
8am-11am Your looking at a 2-3 hour wait to get hooked up before you even donate. They allow for maximum appointment slots with approximately a quarter of the actual seats to be occupied leading to ridiculous wait times. It's a failing on the management and a lack of respect for their donors time. The staff is friendly and do their best but it's a case of greed on the corporate side vs donor care./ I've recently returned to this location and used the shown promo and unlike every other promo they've used in
Toby is always amazing and has such great technique. His personality is awesome and he even remembers my name. NO ONE ever remembers my name! The staff has become like family. I also have been treated so well by all the other workers.
It was a good experience. It wait was a little long, but I understand. One of the ladies that work here, Cynthia Hernandez, was amazing. Very polite and made the process a good one
The facility is clean, and the people are friendly. It can be slow at times, but overall it's a good experience.
I love the staff at Burleson Bio, they're always so welcoming and warm even though they are NONSTOP busy! Cleanliness is top tier as well. ??
I have been coming for a little over a year. Toby is always talking to someone. Friendly and attentive to who is there. I appreciate that he has a good attitude about his job makes the best of his shift. Overall this location is very clean and organized. I feel safe here vs other past plasma companies I have not always felt the same.
The only thing about doing these donations that makes it actually pleasant are the great people that work at this center. Very skilled, very organized, very friendly and professional. Amelia is a doll, very personable, pleasant, and courteous. Excellent service and very attentive. I waved away a fly and she saw me from across the room and came to check that I wasn't trying to get someone's attention. Great job, makes it easier to want to keep doing this.
Christi is absolutely the best, she makes me feel welcome every time I donate. She has the magic touch, her sticks are painless every single time! Paige is always so nice and pleasant during the check in process!
Always in and out in a timely manner. Facility is always clean. Haley is always welcoming, fast and officiant. When getting screened she informs me of my levels and I very much appreciate that. She's awesome :)
Tell the truth about the compensation. I was sent an offer and offer was not valid so I was told I would receive $50. Got the Debit card and the card only had $35 on it. I will not be going back and I will make sure to spread the word that this facility is a total rip off!
Today I visited BioLife Burleson and the service was top notch ! Christi went above and beyond from check in, to my floor stay, to make sure my experience ran smoothly. She was sweet, kind, and personable. All of the floor staff were in great, helpful moods this morning and it made my time there more enjoyable than normal.
Toby was great he saved life and found my lost cat
I drive 45 mins to be able to donate here. I come here because they know how to prick people correctly, the BioLife in Arlington was constantly blowing a vein. This shouldn't be an issue, because I constantly get compliments for my veins ?? from nurses to phlebotomists. Overall this is the only place I like to donate here so far. I'm a full time college student and so donating is my source of income. As a science major I donate for science purposes too. However one complaint I have is that there are 2 woman
I have been coming to this donation center instead of the one closer to my house because they are extremely friendly and never seem to be as busy and disorganized as the other bio life centers. Today was not a good day though for me. My donation did not go as planned and after I threw up all over myself Cynthia and a couple others help clean me up and gave me a clean shirt to wear. Definitely highly recommend this location!
The actual donation process is fine . But the Burleson location won't schedule enough staff to keep the lines from being long often time it's a 2 hour wait prior to your donation. I've walked out several times over the past month because of the wait time.
Love the Burleson location. Most staff are very professional & go over & beyond to make sure the donation process goes smoothly! Friendly staff at the Burleson location helps a lot also.
A majority of the staff is kind except maybe one or two people and they have a terrible attitude. The staff takes there time always and prioritizes conversations amongst each other over actually working. The wait time is always horrendous it takes an hour to get vitals then it takes you an hour to get hooked up in the chair you guys should pay your employees better maybe the wait time & efficiency would both increase
I've been donating here since the facility opened in 2017. This location has slipped into a bad habit of seemingly overbooking their appointment times -- more often than not, it takes 2 to 2 1/2 hours to complete a donation. It used to not be this way at all. Historically, there were times when I could be in and out in under an hour. Please hire more workers to fulfill the growing demand placed on your employees on the floor who are processing donors. It is disrespectful to donors AND your employees to cont
Went here about a month ago, everything went fine, no complications, no problems, until I was done, when this bitter fat nurse ( I guess it was a nurse) told me before I left not to come back because I had had eye surgery two months before, fine, no problem, wasn't any sweat off my back. She didn't seem to like the look of me, kept cutting and rolling her eyes at me every time I tried to be polite or make a silly joke. So be it, now if they would just stop sending messages and emails asking me to donate, I
Jocelyn is the absolute best!! Any time I can, I sit in her section. I always come in at the 7pm time, so while most employees just want to check out and go home. She is not only attentive, but she ensures her end of shift jobs aren't getting in the way of her patients. ??
I like the Burleson Location I've never been to any other locations. The Staff do their very best to help everyone even when they're Short handed sometimes it may be long waiting in line but it goes very quick so all I can say is Have Patience ??
It's a great quiet place. My donations would be quick if it isn't busy but the staff is SLOW!! It takes 30minutes to b put on nd 30 to be taken off. Don't sit in a color zone that doesn't have a worker cause the wait is even longer. If the staff was quicker or they hired more workers I'd give them 5stars
Over all this is a very beneficial place, everything is smooth and runs well besides wait time, which can take up to an hour before you are able to have the plasma withdrawn. Besides that, everything is great and everyone gives smiles, especially Christi who has never caused me pain when inserting or removing the needle and she is very comforting in a naturally stressful setting.
Katie was amazing, very thorough, & kind. 10/10
Used to come here often but the past 3 times have been awful. I drive 40 minutes to get here just to leave with nothing. A few weeks ago I Left because it was taking too long for them to stick me, was there for over an hour. This time I was unable to donate since the questionnaire wouldn't let me proceed, and no one could help me because of how busy they always are. They need more people working up there. The prices for donations keeps dropping. Was good for a while but gonna try and find somewhere else t
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
