Update: the past few times it's been moving a lot quicker. However, yesterday I was on a very slow machine. It took from walking in the door 2 hrs in total and I'm only getting $50. In addition your ML donation goes way up this week. To my knowledge, nobody has told you about it going up. Now I'm over 1000ml a donation and no bump in pay.
I am a fairly new customer and enjoyed my experience at the west Orlando location for my first donation. However, when I came back for my second donation I went to the Cassleberry location and it was a completely different experience. The staff are very rude, judgmental, and rush people through the process like customers don't matter. As this was a new experience for me I was looking for comfortability and professionalism, but when I went back into the nurse?s office I had a very impolite and ill-mannered n
I recently left a review on this page by mistake, as it was meant for a different company. However, I wanted to take the opportunity to leave a positive review for this location because my experience here was excellent. The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable. The entire process was much faster compared to the other company, and I felt that the team here was more attentive and well-prepared. Overall, I had a great experience, and I highly recommend this location to anyone considering
I was there for 2 hours with an appointment . The phlebotomist spent about 20 seconds examining my arms and said I didn't qualify due to small or weak veins . When I asked for a second opinion I was told to be quiet and literally escorted out the building . All I did was ask a simple question bc I have never in all my years had one person give an opinion and that be the standard . Typically a second opinion/person is the medical standard . They were busy and understaffed and she didn't want to take the t
I had an incredibly upsetting experience at BioLife Plasma that others should be warned about. After donating, I was called into a room and told my blood work came back "positive" for something serious. The way they delivered the news was completely unprofessional - they made me feel like I had contracted something dangerous, with no clear explanation. They handed me a paper and acted like they were doctors. On top of that, they told me this was my "first strike," and that once it was cleared up, I could do
Fast, easy, professional, and efficient. The nurses and staff at this location care about their donors and go above and beyond to ensure their comfort, understanding, and safety. Even though they were quite busy (Sundays are busiest) they still took time for me, were patient and answered all questions I had, and were overall very kind. I was initially deferred for having been pregnant 5 months earlier, but when I came back today I had no issues at all. Highly recommend this location for donating plasma.
As someone in medicine, I understand the concern about donor safety, and have had most great experiences between November to March of this year. Due to a mishap with the machine being unable to separate my blood from my plasma, I wasn't able to donate for 6-8 weeks. Then on my second appointment from my return, I'm told I can't donate due to low HCT levels multiple times and I have to have my PCP signs the papers indicating I haven't had a history of this. Agin, understandable. I turned the signed paper in
I must say, my experience yesterday as a long time donor was not what I normally expect, I've been donating for 4 years. They're short staffed and closing early, I get it, however the unwarranted rudeness from the lady who is normally the receptionist was uncalled for, I think her name is Lea Ann. I donate very often, and she is normally the receptionist up front. I had a promotion that's expiring today, and was wondering how I could still get the same funds. The lady who is the receptionist was nasty to m
I've donated 60 times here. The last 6 donations Have taken 2 hours, attention to patients has made me consider choosing g a different company. At this moment I am only halfway through and been over an hour. Machine constantly stopping,10 min before anyone comes to fix it. Then proceeds to act like I'm doing it wrong. This place used to be good, now it is falling apart.
Luci is amazing!!!!!! I had an amazing experience at this place! The customer service at the front desk is top-notch. Luci, in particular, was exceptionally kind and helpful. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome and taken care of. She answered all my questions with a smile and made sure I had everything I needed. I really appreciate her professionalism and attention to detail. I'll definitely be coming back thanks to the excellent service from Luci and the entire team!
I choose biolife because it's close and generally the best paying but god it's so poorly managed. Love when I walk in and there's a 20 person deep line for screening but no line for bed wait, which means that they don't have enough people assigned up to the front. Then there's nothing like needed a simple arm check and MSS hasn't been seen in over 30 minutes. It took over 20 minutes after I sat down for MSS to open the door, and there were multiple people waiting way before I was for MSS. Maybe if they hire
Been coming here for about 3 years.. I recently took a break from donating due to a hectic work schedule. Finally decided to return back after about two months and they required me to have a physical, although it hasn't been a full year since my last one (okay cool no biggie). It took me 3 TIMES (all different days & appt times) to FINALLY get fully screened and passed through to my physical, I was denied and deferred. You can tell 95% of the workers are overworked or don't actually care about their job. I?
The people here are very friendly and helpful! I have been donating here for 3 months and haven't had any bad experiences, only good or mediocre. The only bad thing I can say is that the phlebotomists are underpaid and overworked, so don't expect them to be patient when you give them attitude. Be patient, and they will be grateful.
Arrived today to make my second donation and was told anyone with minor seasonal allergy symptoms (stuffy nose) cannot donate. I did my first donation last week with the same minor seasonal allergy symptoms and they had no problems with it-and they did a full physical at that appointment. Last week they told me not to take my OTC allergy med before the visit. Now they're saying I should have taken it, but even if I had they wouldn't have allowed me to donate because I have seasonal allergies. So I guess if
The attitude of the so called "nurses" is unpleasant and unwelcome. They treat you like they own they place and you're there begging for money. Remember it is a double way street we the customers are helping too and not for a big reward. So be nice. The rest of the stuff has gotten better
I started donating in September at my wife's (a M.A.) suggestion. I wanted to give time before reviewing. Biolife was the first one I encountered, and I have no interest in dealing with other companies now. The staff is professional and friendly, the environment is impeccably clean, and I felt comfortable from the moment I stepped through the door. They are frequently short staffed, but that is all medical fields right now. They still work quickly and efficiently, and do not cut corners in health and safet
The Asian nurse (the one with the mask), at the Casselberry Florida location is incredibly rude! She kept complaining about the scent of my "perfume", saying it was "almost offensive". What kind of person talks to another human being that way? I wasn't even wearing perfume. I was only wearing deodorant. She said that I need to wash it off. I said I'm not washing off my deodorant. I told her she's probably not smelling my deodorant either because it doesn't smell offensive, she's likely smelling the soap on
Seen some bad reviews about the place so I was kinda skeptical attending. Been here multiple times and each visit has been exceptional. No problems. Good Job ??
I have been donating in BioLife from the past one year twice a week and in different states. This is my first visit to here and I was called to red color for my bed and it took one hour for them to prick me , all the other donors who were behind me got pricked first and completed their donation. When I asked about the late to named ASIA who came to prick me she simply asked me to come back at other time and she said that she is trying to find my slip . Honestly, she is unfit for the job and very rude ,
casselberry is understaffed and it causes lots of problems. they don't have time to clean and constantly have trash all over the floors. they don't employ a receptionist so the phlebotomists are expected to stop screening patients whenever someone needs to ask a question or to check in new donors. they all look stressed out and over extended. I've had two major hold-ups during my "new donor" introductory period that have resulted in a 10 day delay the first time and an 8 day delay the next time & now I wo
They are seriously understaffed for the amount of people that are here waiting today. There's only one nurse doing physicals plus every person that might have made a mistake answering a question needs to go through her first. This will take easily 3+ hours IF I get to finish the process today.
Definitely not the best experience I've had. I'm treated like I'm bothering workers by being there. A greeting goes a long way. I know work gets hectic but a nice greeting does help.
Electronic fingerprint- not working took 20 minutes to get signed in. Even the assistant tried many times to get the computer to sign me in. She was very patient. Once signed in everything went smoothly.
I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an interaction I had with the receptionist during my visit on January 4th at approximately 2:40 PM. Upon arrival, I began filling out my questionnaire when the receptionist asked me to end my phone conversation. I acknowledged her request and informed her that I would hang up. She then instructed me to remove my Bluetooth headphones and pointed to a yellow notice on the wall, asking whether I could read English or Spanish. Shortly after, she directed me
Great place to donate, all the staff are super dedicated and attentive, from the reception, nurses, and those responsible for our donation, very helpful and professional employees, I am very happy to donate and professionals like you make me feel more motivated.
?Jonathan at Bioplasma is incredibly professional and attentive. His knowledge and dedication to his work are exceptional, and he always goes above and beyond to ensure the customer is satisfied. His friendly attitude and ability to explain things clearly make the experience so much better. I highly recommend working with him. Thank you, Jonathan, for your awesome services
I actually left this afternoon after waiting in a long line to be screened for over 20 minutes with only one person being called in that time. There was 10 people ahead of me and only 2 people taking a particularly long time in the pre-donation screening area. The last time I went a few weeks ago it took over 40 mins once in the chair waiting for them to start the donation process. I don't want to spend all afternoon there and recently the whole process seems to take several hours, which I just don't have.
My experience was horrible. For several months I was able to donate. I took a break, and when I finally came back I had my physical and everything was good. When I went for my following appointment I was deferred because of my address. Then I received two emails stating that the deferral was lifted just for me to go all the way there and it wasn't lifted. Mind you this is all because of where I'm currently residing. If they had done their job correctly, they would have caught their mistake in the beginning
The employees are always so friendly and efficient. I try to donate as often as I can to help others. Thank you for making it a friendly experience
Two hhour donation. They have employees takking and sweeping while all the machines are going off bc people are finished. It is ridiculous. They should value people who are donating time better.
Nobody answers the phone. The machine screws up and they say I have to wait 30 mins before I can leave. I did. Then they froze my app so I can't get appointments. She has no idea when I left she was in with a customer. I told the guy to tell her I waited 30 mins before I left. Still did it. So because they can't answer a phone now I have to drive there. Poorly run place
Ashley is the best and most awesome supervisor. She is hard working, knowledgeable and attentive. She makes your experience the best!
They are professional in every single aspect, very happy I choose that location to donate.
Most of the workers are kind , friendly and respectful, some aren't. Not very organized at this location the nurses are definitely unorganized
Edit: I really enjoyed donating here and had given a 5 star review but then a weird thing happened and I wasn't able to log into the kiosk. I was told during the previous donation the machine "glitched" and bc of that IT needed to clear some error msg from my record. It's been 3 weeks with no resolution. I have gone in personally and spoken to 2 manages, both promised to look into it and call. Nothing. No one answers the phone there or ever returns my calls. Now I have to switch to a different donation comp
Unprofessional and rude people working here. To think they'd be nicer seeing as you are donating your plasma. Most don't really know how to properly insert a needle in a person's vein. Painful every time.
This place is great and everyone is super nice. Every staff member I've encounter is amazing. Daniel L in particular is super kind and professional but has such a warm energy to him. Daniel if you see this and you're gay or bi let it be know a little so I can shoot my shot ??
I have always had a good experience. Very organized. It's easy to avoid the busy times. I've never been denied to donate but I understand why. As a nurse, I appreciate how careful they are when collecting our plasma. I'm usually in and out within an hour. Close to food and the bus stop.
I usually attend the Gainesville location, but have the unfortunate displeasure of donating here during the holidays. Staff are unpleasant and the service is terrible. They take forever to get everything done and seem to have attitudes about it all. Is it worth it to spend over two hours just to get $40? I don't think so.
they sit you down then make you wait 40 minutes before actually getting started. I feel they are very unorganized and lose track of patients.
One particular individual who works here has *huge* attitude problems, enough for me to give this facility a well-earned 1* rating. Everyone else here is cool though.
This place is joke. I had multiple bad experiences, after giving the staff a few chances, now I'm done here. **UPDATE after doing my research on this place, it looks like I'm not the only one with issues regarding the staff - I took photos of other reviews with similar experiences** Your first appointment will be long because of your physical but everyone will treat you extremely nice. After the first appointment, GOOD LUCK! The staff is so rude and miserable. As a training specialist of 4 years, I'm conce
Be careful! Yes the money can be worth it. Yes MOST of the staff is nice. But remember majority of them are not experienced since they get on the job training. This place has come in handy but in order for it to be a benefit you need to donate twice a week. There's been quite a few times I couldn't donate the second time because they didn't stick me properly and left me bruised. The two hour wait is not worth $20. This last time was it. The tech stuck me too deep, she missed the vein and let the machine run
Oh it started all wonderful the people were great. Then I was honest about my medical marijuana use and because I lapsed in thinking about it as a prescription because I have used it my whole life they denied me to be able to give plasma. When I did the computer questions on the second day is when I realized that prescription was prescription and I needed to make sure that they knew and I did my due diligence to make sure of that and I was punished for it. So I am here to warn everyone else not to be honest
My appointment was at 12 and I didn't leave until 3, the man who put the needle in my arm put it in wrong and they had to stop it just a few minutes later because the blood was going into my arm. When it happened the guy seemed annoyed that he had to take care of it and they barely explained what had happened so I left anxious about the hard mass (and now huge bruise) I could feel in my arm. Everyone else was pretty nice though and I donated before this with no issues but I don't think I'll be going back ??
Staff were friendly and helpful even though they were super busy and some were even being yelled at on the phone too. They explained everything in detail and it took a few hours because it was my first donation overall it was very easy and painless. I plan on returning this week and hope my plasma helps many people.
Nice organized staff not fast paced at all for those who enjoy or prefer calmer environment me and donation procedures.
The staff needs to be evaluated for customer service ethics. One time out of ten a donated. The nurse said my veins couldn't be found. Meanwhile, on the previous visit my blood/plasma was successfully donated. I don't understand her underlying intentions to refute my visit every time I make an appointment for the second time. Moreover, comfort was not the main objective for the nurse that attended me during the course for my visitation. You can see in my pictures how stressful I could not do a nice selfie.
Such a bad center they wasn't paying attention to the process and they left my arm like this such a negligence they didn't help with any medical attention and just left me like this is not fair because is affecting me in my daily life I couldn't even work for some days because of this
Sometimes staff act robotic, appear bored or apathetic. At other times, they are kind and caring. It's the lack of consistency that feels wrong, though, operationally, the consistency is there.
I love this center yeah sometimes it does take awhile but that mainly because of all of the people coming in and out they handle it well, and I personally don't mind it sometimes you just need to kill time bring headphones and definitely a jacket or a blanket. But if you have a commitment at a certain time you can always tell a employee that you need to leave and just remake an appointment.
Watch out for this place last night a supervisor Asia told me that if my needle into my arm wasn't removed right away I would get a blood clot which made me scared and confused when I couldn't answer her she told me that it had to be removed immediately when she didn't like my answer she then kept it in for 10 more minutes to be spiteful she told me it had to be removed or I'd get a blood clot but then when she didn't like my answer she kept it in for another 10 minutes I told her that it hurt it was painfu
I've donated at four places in my BioLife career (because I've moved around a lot). This location is great with customer service and making people feel comfortable. (Needles are scary!). There isn't a single person who hasn't treated me well here and I think that says a lot about their culture. Shout out to Dani, Amy, Shawn, Tamira and others for their hospitality and warm personalities. I have no complaints. I've been consistently coming here for five months and have had a couple small issues (mostly machi
Everybody there is professional and friendly and considering the volume of people they move through there they get you in and out fairly quickly. Plan on 1 1/2 to 2 hours evenings and weekends
First time at this specific location and it wasn't my best experience with BioLife. Staff was not professional and also I have bruising on both arms because they couldn't get the needle in right just really irritated me. I know my veins are hard to find but sticking the needle in my arm and moving it around definitely did some damage.I Can't donate for the rest of the week because of the bumps & bruises on my arm caused by that. At that point they can just tell me ? maybe today isn't the best day to donat
One of the most courteous and professional plasma donation centers I've been to and compared to the others they are extremely fast
Received two sticks and each unsuccessful, I was informed if I didn't provide both arms as an option to try than there would be a partial payment only. After both sticks I received nothing at all. Could improve this especially with the time and commitment put into trying.
I love this location so much all the staff are so nice and so helpful they always make me feel at ease and relaxed. A few people I would like to mention Daniela, Robert and Eddie are particularly amazing at their job. And I come back to this location bc they make me feel welcome.
This place is a well-oiled machine! I went for the first time on a Saturday, and they were short staffed, but they moved me from one part of the process to the next one as fast as they could. You have to show up with your patience if you go on a Saturday, as that is their busiest day. I am looking forward to becoming a regular donor for my community and for people in need of plasma!
Original review 10/15 I'm writing this review before donating because I've already encountered an unpleasant experience. This is my first time at this location, I normally go to the Ocoee location. I asked one of the nurses for a bottle of water and gold fish. She was very rude with her response of ?no, theres a water fountain?. I continued with my process ignoring the rudeness. I am now in line waiting to be seated and a gentleman behind me leaves the line and comes back with water and gold fish. I asked w
It was great until the girl who attempted to get my vein did a terrible job. I've been there 10 times and the vein is the easiest vein in the world to hit, and she poked and prodded and blew out the vein. I've never had so much as a tiny bruise, but this girl took the cake! I wasn't able to donate , but at least received that payment, and left with a huge, painful bruise that I'm still waiting to go away a week later, so I can donate again. Here's what it looks like today. I'll go back because this hasn
Beware of the nurse with the red hair. She will falsify your file and prevent you from Donating. You talk to her and she will twist your words. She is the one and only reason they will not let me donate.
This place is terrible from the minute I walked in it's trashy the employees are inattentive one guy stuck me terribly. The set up is terrible just don't come here yo it's got a 3.5 rating for a reason & I did not check when I should have
This location is always clean and all the staff I have encountered are amazing! Axel specifically is the best at making sure I receive top notch care when donating! Staff works quickly and efficiently, but I'm with everyone else in saying they could benefit from more help. I am usually in and out in about an hours time, but I pay close attention to days and times as to not get stuck during their rush times but not all donators have that option.
Staff are always great. Management needs to do a better job staffing. 45 minute wait for beds after going thru the questionnaire and medical evaluation.
Shout to Lucy, Lynn, Amy and Eddie. Their staff is so welcoming and professional. Had such a Blessed First Visit. If you want to donate please come here you will not regret it.
The staff you do have is incredible, but very understaffed. I always feel safe and not a bother. However, I see how hard they work and it is a bit scary to know that some are very tired, but have to work. I have seen some of the management talk down to some of the lower level employees, but that could be their personality because the other employees don't seem phased by it. However, that should not become the norm in a work situation. I don't like how every week the donation payout changes. I have waited
Everything was going so well for a few months until they gave me a blood test and stated I needed to wait 2-5 days for my test results in order to donate again because of my protien levels. Then 2 weeks past and I get no call, so I try calling them and leaving a message?nothing! So I had to drive there myself to try to get a hold of my results only for them to tell me I need ANOTHER test, which they should have called me about. Do I just went along and submitted my 2nd test, & then they say again they will
They have a schedule system they don't honor. Im not complaining but I don't see any professionalism in any of the employees maybe a class for ALL employees in the facility. I posted a picture of my appointment time ive waited over 1 hour and its not to busy
Great staff always talkative, and welcoming. Past 200 donations now hoping they bring back that tier perk. Other than that haven't had any major issues they kept up with answering any questions I had. Matt (Soda Pop) the pro smash player never fails to keep me entertained during my donation.
All of the staff members are so kind, caring, and considerate here, at this location. They're so personable and show their human side in taking the time to make you feel appreciated...unlike some other places, where they treat you like you're just another number in the livestock, being herded towards the butcher. One standout team member I want to shout out is Eddie. HE IS THAT GUY. He has a great personality, he's dedicated and hardworking, and he makes you feel welcome every time. He's indifferent in the
I waited 45 minutes as a first-time donor, followed the directions on the signage, and was never called up. I will try a different location.
I switched to this location due to the one closest to me being a 2+ hour wait. And it was great at first but now...not so much. They got new machines which should make donating quicker, more efficient. That's not helpful when there's an hour plus wait to get vitals done, followed by another hour wait for a bed. The staff is friendly, most of them anyway. The ones that aren't friendly are friendly at all. My last visit was just shy of 3 hours. THREE HOURS. no one apologizes no one acknowledges the fact that
I had held off on this post for quite some time hoping the manager by the name Josh would contact me. I have left over in person messages to his staff wonderful people and two phone messages and yet he has continued to avoid me and the mistakes that happened on August 4 2024. I just wanted someone to contact me and let me know that the situation that happened was going to Be handled. It is quite unfortunate that he continues to avoid contacting me. I am extremely disappointed in bio life And I am very much
Jonathan is a great professional, he provides excellent service! He is also always in a good mood!
I do not recommend this place. They explain things in ways that are not easily understood and they complicate everything. There is an uptight vibe here. Their machines are very very harsh. Make sure you eat the right food before going and drink a lot of water especially afterwards or you will throw up or faint. Something just seemed very fishy in the environment. Some things are going on here that are not being spoken about.
I came here a few years ago, and didn't have a good experience then. When I came back it hasn't changed. The donor bonus?s were lower than before. And I came across a staff member who was very rude. When I explained that I had an appointment and wasn't able to sign in. She just dismissed me when I tried to explain to her that I was there well before my appointment, she said ? you just walked up here to the front, I just saw you walk up here?. When that was impossible. Because I went to the restroom first, t
I am outraged by my recent visit to this establishment. Donated earlier this week. During my donation, the power went out. All machines stopped. My donation was almost complete. Everyone was disconnected. The power never came back on while I was there. I had another appointment scheduled for my second donation of the week. I arrived for that appointment but when I got there, the computer said I did not have one scheduled. When I spoke to a member of staff, they informed me due to the power outage, I was be
Shot out to Ashley past couple of weeks I came to donate in the middle of my donation I wasn't feeling good and she noticed immediately. She helped me feel better thank yo Ashley for taking care of me. Also shot out to Amy came back after a couple of weeks and she took such good care of me during my donation process thank you!! You girls are amazing!!!!!
I didn't get to donate as the rude vitals tech said I was too low with protein. She was rude as I wanted to see my blood presssure & temp results. I should?ve asked if you could move the display unit, but I didn't as other techs allow me to view, she said DON?T and moved it back. I responded that I just wanted to view my BP and temp results, she wouldn't tell me. Either she tired , cranky, or both but she did NOT need to be so short with me
Staff is very nice but you need more people working. Took me almost 2 hours to get screened and setup just to start of my donation. It's not the fault of those working because they were going as fast as they could. It was from lack of help.
Overall very clean and the staff are friendly. I did on 3 different occasions have to ask techs to change their gloves before hooking or unhooking me. Most change their gloves between patients but on all three occasions I watched these techs handle multiple patients and plasma bags and not change their gloves. They all changed them when asked but it should be standard practice.
Staff was sooo rude. No one even looks at you or greets you. They treat you like literal cattle. The girl that did the intake didnt say anything to me or even looked at me and was chatting with her coworker about their weekend plans the whole time. The guy that disconnected me at the end didn't even say a word or look at me either and even hit me with the pressure cuff and didn't say anything. Glad that's not my usual center, because wow. Staff at Goldenrod location are top notch.
Super easy to donate and the staff are super kind and take care of you, they keep you in the know of the ins and outs of how to be safe and get through donating without any mishaps.
Wait times are getting better! Just about all of the employees are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I have a rolling vein in my preferred donation arm that has given some technicians trouble, resulting in an incomplete donation. Daniela, Asia, Cherith and Kayla always take their time to make sure the vein stays in place and the needle goes in correctly. I make sure to request one of them if I can. Today, Daniela noticed I was here and made sure I was taken care of without me even having to ask. The facil
The trainee today needs returned to lab for more training. I don't want to leave a negative review but I can not in good conscience not say anything about the trainee I had today for fear she may hurt a patient. Ran the needle through the vein then proceeded to fish for it! Then proceeded to tell me I had a small vein lol! I was Corpsman in the united states Navy so speaking from experience. Please retrain the trainee I had on 09/18/2024. The instructor did a fine job though.
Donated years ago and they consistently blew my veins which caused me not to get the compensation schedule they advertised. My sister just went to a different location this year and they ended up messing up her veins too, but they still compensated her. Very disappointed that no one ever offered this to me during my donation. I know this is for a good cause overall but we all know most of us our depending on this for income during a rough time and wish they took more care during the process overall.
Wilson R was great to work with, he was genuine and informative. I felt he valued my time. Also Jonathan was a great tech, he was quick and efficient even though there were multiple emergencies at the same time, he handled it all like a pro. They probably deserve far more than you pay them. I am grateful they are part of your staff, you feel safe when working with professionals like Wilson and Jonathan.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
