When the saline was being pushed after my donation, my arm had a lot of pressure and pain. No one was around for me to say anything. Ever since, my arm has been swollen and sore at the base of my bicep near the elbow where the needle was inserted. It clearly wasn't fully in the vein. Now I have a big bruise forming where the saline just went into the muscle tissue. I was going to donate this week, but am now scared to do it again and lose use of my other arm. The photo is from 4 days after donation and the
My reason for this review. is the fact I HAVE NOT BEEN PAID FOR MY DONATION today! I was out the door before 8:30A when I woke up this afternoon and noticed at 2:30p I still had not received my deposit. I attempted to get someone on the phone to notify them from that time until 6:30p. No one would answer the phone, I still do not have my deposit and the facility is closed. This is ridiculous to me and should never happen, so I don't understand how it did. BioLife received my plasma but forgot to pay me!? H
The wait is usually quite long. Most of the staff are friendly and the others just do their job and dont really engage. My ine real complaint is how they take your BP. Im an anxious person anyway so its normal for my BP to be elevated. If its to high they make you sit for 5 mins (which is correct) The instead of retaking it where you are, you have to get up walk all the way around the counter and they immediately slap the BP cuff on. We'll of course its jumped again because you we just up walking around. Th
Great staff, The nurse Jen and A.M Brittany were really helpful. Explaining the process and procedures pretty thoroughly and made my return visit comfortable! This location is appointment based which is also reassuring when you're trying to get in and out!
I usually don't write reviews, but after three visits to this location, I felt it was necessary to share my experience. I've been donating plasma for about two years and recently moved to this area. Compared to my previous donation center, this location feels poorly managed, and many of the staff seem undertrained and unprofessional. The environment is not welcoming. From the moment I walked in, I felt more like a number than a person. During my first visit, I overheard someone telling the technician who
What is the point in having scheduled appointments if when you get there you have to wait 1.5 hours just to get hooked up. I've been to this place more times than I care to admit and I don't care how down bad I am for money I will NEVER go back here. The nurses dont know how to stick. I can't tell you how many bruises and hematomas I've had from the nurse sticking my vein way too far to the side. And WORST customer service and attitudes from 90% of staff. Very stupid rules you have to follow like answering
Be me; a fairly healthy guy who rarely eats junk food, exercises a lot, doesn't smoke, and drinks a gallon of water every day. So I went here to donate plasma to earn some extra cash. I do all of the things they tell you to do to make the donation process much easier. Now this situation I'm gonna share happened to me on a regular basis. After being hooked up and pumping for a good while, the machine buzzes a few times. The process is slower than it should be. I'm usually told, "you need to pump harder" or "
People are usually friendly. Last time i was stuck they messed my arm up REALLy Good. I went back to have them use my other arm that week and because the bruise was all the way down my arm they wouldn't let me use my good arm. Frustrating to say the least because I had to miss almost 3 weeks due to there bad stick. A coupon would have helped. See pics. I understand missing a vein but this was more than a miss. Pay is better than most.
Staff is extremely slow, there is NEVER ENOUGH STAFF, always one person taking vitals or two people on the floor to stick people. They are truly unprofessional. They have people waiting to be hooked up while they walk around and talk about stupid things like how drunk they got the night before. The building is literally filled with people in lab coats but they never do anything, just walk about staring like idiots. Do not waste your time coming here.
Very bad place to go too give grant money but bad personality's all around not treating people with respect or nothing and loves to Make people's character look bad.The people that work here are not good people to others they have very poor behavior and the bosses are even worse tovl deal with and work for they are also A very racist discriminating to their own kind and others and they Allowing people to be deferred Without proper assessing the situation, every single time. I think this place sh
Hello, I had a disappointing experience here as a donor . let's start by saying that Jemer the supervisor is very unprofessional. When I asked her a question and spoke with her about an issue I had( as a supervisor ) , she brushed it off and said THATS WHY THEY HAVE SIGNS POSTED, pointed at the signs , walked me to it and and had a smart gesture / body language about herself ( UNPROFESSIONAL )! As a manager you're held to higher standers .Secondly , this is just my second donation so directing the donors
They have they favorite people so when you come here just know that if you new or not the right color then you will be skipped or placed in a dirty bed where. The black female in the pink section skipped me and took an African American in her section and placed me on another dirty bad before whipping it down Unacceptable DO BETTER THIS IS CRAZY EVERYONE DESERVES THE SAME TREATMENT SOUTH BLVD CHARLOTTE NC LOCATION RACIST.
The pay is decent, but the wait is long. You have a 10 minute grace for your appointment, but you have to wait a long time to start your donation. I understand you are getting compensated for your time, but waiting one hour it too much and then when you are done you have to wait too. They need more staff.
This the worst plasma bank I ever been to no lie. The staff is rude. I was a new donor and they kept skipping me. Horrible experience. *****update***** I have now been deferred for 6 months because I complained about the customer service experience here. They asked me to contact them so they could locate me in their system and deferr me. I just wanted to finish my last donation and never come back. Unbelievable and unprofessional from the top of the ladder all the way down.
They will have a line with 9 people and nobody there to stick. Very much understaffed and will train people during peak hours with no support. Has potential to be a good plasma place. But this would be my 5th time dealing with this and not really seeing any change THE WORST Of the worst stayed in line for 45 min
As a first donor, I rate a 1. First of all, the attitude they give you is so disgusting and disturbing. Treating you like you are a creakhead homeless person on the street, and even they deserve respect. On top of it off, you may not get paid on time.
THIS IS THE WORST PLASMA CENTER IN CHARLOTTE! The staff here are very UNPROFESSIONAL. I made seven SUCCESSFUL donations. Then, they waited until my LAST scheduled donation to DEFER ME because of some BS excuse about me falling asleep during the donation process. If I was falling asleep during the donation process, why not defer me while in the process of the donation? Why wait until my LAST donation to stop me from scheduling an appointment, then tell me that I'm ineligible because "I'm falling asleep?" ??
I was nervous going for the 1st time. I had the pleasure of meeting Antoinette and Wendi. Antoinette was very nice and professional. She went over everything and it was easy to understand. She was so thorough. Wendi helped me during the actual donation process. She was very sweet also. Everyone worked well together. If my machine needed attending, a staff member would help me. BioLife was clean and sanitary. I would definitely recommend.
Today, March 25th, there are 8 donation rooms and only 4 are working. Besides that, there are only four nurses in the rooms! I've been here for an hour and there are 25 people in line. They've damaged the service. It's better to look for other options.
Never seen such crazy lines before and lack of staff. However, the machines are pretty fast and smooth which kinda levels out the crazy wait times. Anyway, I'm smacking my bonus and I'm out.
Overall it's great. It got a bit busy and I felt like I was being overlooked for a little while but past experience reminded me that they are being pulled in many directions and it can happen. Victoria was very pleasant in reassurance that I mattered. The staff are very kind. I have gone to many different donation centers but never have they been as nice and respectful as this staff!! The fact that I am helping save lives is the number reason I go but now the staff is a reason as well.
I had an appointment today for my donation but my experience was...AWFULL! I'm a graduated M.A. and I don't understand why the phlebotomist, supposely well trained, was fishing, and fishing on my arm. I was feeling like a Trainning doll...so much pain! She actually did not care about me (a patient, a donnor), This kind of "dialysis technician?" should not been working with human beings, period!!!!
I have been donating locally for three years to help save people lives and get paid to do it at local centers near me. I drove a hour and a half to come take part in the new donor incentive at BioLife. The process took me about two hours to get to the physical, when I finally got to the physical the lady was rude and called for a manager to look at my arms. She stated that I wasn't qualified to donate because my tattoos was closer than the size of a quarter to the injection site. Which is absolute bs, no ce
Not happy with this place. Two times that I went to donate after having a successful physical and two previously successful visits, I was deferred due to a high pulse rate. My blood pressure is always low/acceptable, though, and remained so during all visits (even deferrals). I spoke to the manager, Omi, about this and pointed out that all that movement, removing extra layers, standing up and down to get weighed, holding the thermometer in your mouth, having the techs bark instructions at you (AND having th
BioLife is a professional welcoming place of business that is clean and steril. The employees are awesome and always on point and I highly recommend giving plasma to help our fellow humans. Keep up the amazing work BioLife!
For such an important mission, this was the worst service experience I've ever encountered. Staff members were dismissive, cutting and negligent. I drove to and from 40 minutes three times and spent ten hours overall attempting to donate and never donated because of odd technical issues and misinformation from staff. I've heard good things about other locations so if you're equidistant to another location, I'd try the other spot first.
I'm going to leave 3stars instead of five because the first two times I came in to donated plasma, were pretty good and everyone was so kind and answered all of my questions, on the third time of my donation things did not go so well for me. The lady that inserted the needle into my vain did not do it right and the needle hurt real bad, the cuff was to tight and the machine kept stopping repeatedly. My arm was hurting real bad by then so I told the nurse she came and pulled and twisted the needle in my arm
My last visit was terrible. I sat there for 40 minutes while the workers in pink section kept overlooking me laying there and going over to others and inserting needles or taking them out. My needle was also not placed correctly so I was unable to donate. I want to keep donating to give back, but the disrespect I was shown I may not be back.
My visit was comfortable and painless. The workers made sure that I was comfortable and did not have any problems, also came back to check on me
The process was very smoothly except the wait time was very long. I think they should have more staff to make the line go faster being that I had to be there for hours.
I am updating my review from my visits this week: What staff they have is same; Excellent staff, friendly and professional. However facility is overbooked: appointment's 2 months ago check-in and donation completed in an hour. Now it's 2 hours + Wall to wall clients at check in and in {SILVER} waiting to donate. Staff is overworked and the persons in training are being utilized before they are ready! Which compromises safety and health of clients. Are we just numbers to BIOLIFE now!! How many can you get i
The only reason I'm giving four stars is because some of the staff members can be a little short with you. I wouldn't call them downright rude but they can certainly be blunt, firm, and straight to the point. I understand why though. There are so many of us, so few of them, so many people who show up unprepared without all the required documents in the proper form and try to argue about it. I don't take it personally. I've had a fine experience so far. Most people there are very nice. On my first day the l
I have been donating since January (7 months) and have never had a bad experience. It's a great way to help others and earn a little extra cash. The nurses and employees are always super nice and sometimes ever funny and entertaining.
Completely unable to get in touch by phone at all. I've been calling for several weeks to avoid making a trip across town if I'm not eligible. This is ridiculous.
The length of time that I and others have to wait in line is ridiculous! It took well over an hour just to get into a station. And I only was paid $40! Driving there was 45 minutes, there for two hours, then the drive home in traffic was 1.5 hours .. for $40! Terrible.
Teach employees to talk with respect. And not to be bitter with their actions and words . I was treated unfairly. The two nurses was amazing that I did my physical with . It was the lady on inserted my needle . She also only checked on the ones on the side of me . Never once asked me if I was okay and having any issues . Then turned around and gave me a nasty attitude .
Came in on Wednesday Oct 12th at 12:40 for my scheduled physical as a return donor, left at 3:06 because I had been waiting for most of my time there and still hadn't been assisted , ultimately ended up being late for my full time job by over an hour due to waiting in between the physical and did not get a chance to donate. This is extremely frustrating and incredibly inconvenient. Especially when I set aside the proper amount of time because I am familiar with donating. That's nearly 3 hours as opposed to
Absolutely love this experience. And I love the chance that I can help others. Every person here is so professional and always makes me feel welcome. I would like to complement Geneva, who is always my biggest cheerleader for giving plasma. She greets me every day and makes me feel like I'm the most important donor here. She takes special care of me and always puts my mind at ease. I've never worked in a profession like this, but I can imagine it has a lot of challenges. Every person he is fabulous
Soo I calls them to get information before I arrived to the building I was put on hold no biggie right.... After seeing it's only 5 mins away I'd figured well I'll drive while waiting that way I can turn around if everything ain't right. Well I was still on hold even as I walked in, the lady is sitting here not being busy at all??.... So she greets me I said I did wanted some information but you still have me hold she looks at the phone and shrugs her as if what I said didn't mean nothing. Yes I am vaccin
I was greeted by a lady I think named Hannah, she was very nice and friendly. I was out of there in an hour. She made sure my arm was good and fixed my machine in seconds. I believe Hannah her name is Hannah but I know her name starts with a H.
Horrible experience. Not only was the nurse the slowest human on earth, (Actually, the entire staff works at turtle speed). But she blew my vein out almost instantly. I will never donate again. Terrified to have the same thing happen
I think Bio Plasma is the best !!!! 1. Great customer service 2. Great TEAM 3. Fast pace 4. Great stickers 5. Best experience ever !!!!!!
I swear this place is the worst place I've ever donated plasma before. I show up at the limit to be late and they won't let me donate. This place is a horrible place to donate you'd be better off at some other place in Charlotte. They screwed me outta my donation deal multiple times. It's not a good place at all I've had better experiences at their competitors. I wish I could rate it even lower I can't donate now because of my job and sensitive little snow flakes after I drove an hour to make it unreal. Th
All the staff were super kind and patient. I've been to many plasma places, but this was definitely my favorite ?? very organized and clean place. Very impressed ?? ??
This is what my daughter's arms looked like after going to this establishment. This is absurd!
This is a sole complaint of a social security number that was given. Never left the premises and followed the orders of Chris at the front desk who was in a designer hoodie and not lab equipment. I brought my license, W-2, pay stub and tax return. All things on the list but Chris told me my time had clocked out. This is extremely unprofessional. Chris was very disrespectful and the reviews of management are accurate. All other ladies were fantastic. Just Chris. Chris.
Pleasant experience at first, until I mentioned I had a coupon for a new donor bonus. After that, they made sure I was as uncomfortable as possible. I had no idea what was going on. I started to panic and they made me sit there so they could gawk at me, until they finally let me leave. Now I can't reschedule online. Interesting how this all happened after I mentioned the new donor bonus. I was supposed to get $700 in 8 donations. Apparently they dont actually want to pay for life saving donations.
I have been a donor now for about three months and never had an issue with the staff or with the donating process. Everyone is kind to me and it a very clean facility. When I last donated, I had informed a technician I needed to use the rest room really badly. She informed me that i couldn't stop the process and that if she did it would affect my compensation. So I continued donating as I completed the process 882 mls. No one came to me for a while so when I saw the young tech I asked her, can you please as
Some of workers not all just move slow once you get to the back! . Get here at 9:35 am and still haven't been stuck it going on 10:30 am ! Been time i bout got deferred because my machine was not set up properly which led blood to get in my plasma bag! (which i was paid for salute Von) . Just crazy waiting times and they only do appointments lol ! When you weight 137 lbs it doesn't even take me long to just be sitting here lol it jus crazy timing .
The biolife location on south Blvd. has some of the nicest employees. I am always greeted with a smile when I enter the building. Every staff member I have encountered is courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive. Every time I donate the process is smooth and quick. Rarely I'm ever there longer than an hour for the whole process, and I've only had to be restuck once in the year and half I've been going to this location. I really like the appointment process and feel like that helps keep too many people from
So started coming here on and off for about 3 years now. Seem a couple of people come and go never really had a problem but today the tech stick the needle in my arm a little to far, this has happened before. Normally it's not a big deal. So I called her over after the machine run one cycle and return. I told her it was hurting. She waited a while I thought she was going to finish what she was going, then was going to check and adjust it. Instead she came over and ask me if I knew when I was suppose to be p
Based solely off of my experience today with Wendi. My son and I arrived 15 min early to get checked in for our first appointment and as I was gathering my iD and social, Wendi stated that she ?doesn't have time for this? . She also refused to answer any questions, instead, referring me to the website. Wendi remained intense as she weighed me and took my BP. Held my finger so hard on the fingerprint scanner and was hasty and really just rude. So my son who was also donating, and I left. We will donate els
Their bedside manner is in need of work. They are rude when it comes to customer service. There are only a few of the employees that know how to work in true customer service form.
No waiting area, was forced by security to sit outside to wait for my partner to finish his donation. Come alone.
One of the best plasma donation services around. Very orderly, clean and efficient. I have yet to have a bad experience at biolife, unlike other donation companies.
Too many hoops to jump through to donate. Took forever to get an appointment scheduled and when I finally get one and go though all the stuff there like ohh your medication is fine but you have to have been taking it 30 days. Most of the staff was nice enough but t h eyes easier places. Also just because you make an appointment doesn't mean that your not going to sit around waiting.
My wife and I signed up for donation, arrived on time, showed our documents. We are residents of the USA, but arrived not so long ago. But we were told that our plasma was not needed because we did not speak English well enough. We have excellent health and no bad habits, we wanted to save lives, but they simply turned us out the door. I wrote to the feedback form on the website, a week passed, silence. Don't waste your time. 0
The plasma donating experience with the staff at BioLife has been exceptional! From the physical to my most recent donation, everyone has been respectful, kind, and professional. I am repeatedly impressed with how easily and painlessly that the needle is inserted and removed by the technician! Thank you for such a positive donation experience!
They were kind and professional for all of my visit but my last donation was a bad trauma for me. The pain that started as soon as the phlebotomist inserted the needle was the first pain I had ever experienced, and in the end, I was unable to draw blood. Upon my appeal, she ( It was first time with her )stopped drawing blood and covered me with a small ice pack and a bandage. However, my forearm was swollen and of course there were bruises and the pain did not go away easily. Even now, when I think abo
I go there had an appointment and all once I get Yo where you donate your plasma, they barely put on the blood pressure cuff and try to find a vein. After 2 different people they still couldn't find a vein, that they wanted to use. So they told me I couldn't donate. Let me preface that No where else has Ever had problems finding a vein to use for anything, and I have always been told I have great veins. Maybe they just need to do their job better, cause it was ridiculous
My fianc? had an appointment at 11:30 am. He took the train to make his appointment and he arrived at 11:32. The manager in the back stated ?oh he gotta reschedule.? I'm not sure if that is proper English or not, but the professionalism is beyond sub par. Regardless of the business you bring in or type of business you are, no one should be met with this type of apathetic response. I called to speak to a manager and no one answered. I will continue to call until someone hears about this. Don't waste your tim
Everyone is always kind, professional and efficient. But Hannah is one of my favorite techs. Always so personable, friendly, and makes everyone feel welcome.
Was great experience? everyone was very knowledgeable and will answer questions at anytime during the process? I would not go anywhere else.
Just a horrible experience! Never going back! I should have believed all the 1 star reviews! Only a handful know what they are doing! I could say more, but I'm just going to move along and forget this awful experience! Update: They never reached out to me personally. They just keep sending me messages and trying to get me to return. Let me know when you have some properly trained staff that doesn't favor a certain donor type. Seriously, I'd never return here for how I was treated! BioLife Plasma Services
If you're a first time donor, make sure you ask plenty of questions throughout the process. There are a lot of stations and it can be tricky to navigate. But everyone is very helpful and you won't find anyone annoyed to answer a question for you.
Have been donating here for months, I never had any issues. Staff was always kind, donating process was easy, all around no negative experiences. Today I was going to do my usual second donation of the week when I was told I can't donate anymore due to my existing tattoo being too close to my vein. This isn't a new tattoo has been there since my first donation, according to the staff ?nobody was ever following the rules properly? so I guess because of that I can no longer donate. Just seems careless, if the
I would like to know how is it not mandatory that you change gloves in between each donor even if you are doing take downs that's taking a risk of transferring something from donor to donor it could be a speck of blood you didn't see splash on them there's a lot of ladies I've seen changed their gloves after they do each DC but it's one particular Brandy at the South Blvd location she is like a supervisor or something in there, she will do a DC go to the next person and then still go work the front after a
Had an appointment for a month to become a new donor, took time off of work to go. I checked their list of prescription medications that would not allow you to donate 3 different times and no where on the list was my medication. Even called the center and the lady said I would be fine. Get there do everything there for about an hour and the nurse doing my physical says I'm flagged because of my meds. Go somewhere else where people actually know what the company rules and regulations are.
For a service that cost thousands at the hospital you pay people so little it's a shame you take advantage of the little people who mostly do it for the money to get by day today
This place sucks. The workers take their time and don't pay attention to detail.
One of the worst centers in CLT, everyone down to the managers have the worst attitudes and it's very hard to deal with after a long day of work. I have called the center since they OPENED, around 8 am and everytime I get forwarded to a team member they HANG UP. Every business in nc is required to have and use a working telephone. There's no reason customers can't get in contact with the center for 5 HOURS. RIDICULOUS.
What better way to give back and earn a little extra scratch while you are at it. I actually look forward to the hour or two I spend each week making my plasma donations at Biolife. The staff are always friendly, I get to relax and decompress from my work day and do something for the greater good. Great feeling. I am so glad I started this and will continue hopefully for years to come.
Very professional staff members. The process from front registration to back donation has been a steady process. The appointment process with a specific time frame is so nice (keep up the good work). If any problems need to be fixed, I am informed immediately ??
A staff person was being very disrespectful and rude. I had to ask for a manager and while talking to the manager this individual disrespects the manager. This facility seems to be understaffed which clearly effects the overall donor experience, because the staff seem hostile from being overly worked.
Me and my wife were late by 8 minutes and the lady at the front desk decided to make us reschedule instead of letting us in. Very disappointing, the place was empty and we live very far for us to just come back another day. Very disappointing the way they talked to us. Look for another place, their ratings are very low for a reason.
Please heed the reviews. Was there for 20 minutes and no one acknowledged me. There was a guy who was there before me and he said they told him to wait for someone to come sign him in but he was waiting even longer than me. I try to be more understanding for healthcare workers because of the nature of the job but this place is totally unorganized. Only go if you have no plans for the day. Cancelled my appointment and left, won't be back.
The worst center I've been to and they decreased the new donor fee $50 for a 3 1/2 visit!! I don't recommend
I have mixed feelings about this place, I've had good days and I've had bad days here. I truly feel that most of the stickers here and not properly trained. There are more stickers who do a terrible job than there are who do a great job. I've donated at other centers and have never had an issue. I only come here now because it's closer to me and I honestly feel safer here and the customer service is great. Minority of them will miss your vein and then try to blame you. Ive even been stuck at hospitals and t
The people there are so nice and kind! It makes the whole experience a pleasant one! I actually look forward to giving!
I do like to come and share my plasma and will continue to do so to help the ones who need it. There is an older lady working there who could cheer up and be more positive toward us who are coming to share our plasma with people in need. Not everyone who comes is doing it for money. I believe her name is Wendi. Just hope she can act she like the work she's doing and the people who are coming.
BioLife Plasma has been a great experience for me as a first timer for donating plasma. If there have been any technical hiccups in any of my visits the staff have been excellent in resolving any issues. The staff makes every visit a little less intimidating every time!
Quick & Easy! All workers are very careful! don't have to worry bout someone sticking you too many times or the needle hurting very well done
Just finished my fifth month and couldn't be happier! Great facility and wonderful experience so far!! All of the employees are super accommodating and nice! I am thrilled with the process!
I had a 2 o'clock first time appointment. I arrived at 1:50. I was not spoken to until 2:30. The staff would not discuss compensation and I was told I needed to provide some sort of coupon I never received. I went through the pre screening process. The donation line was over an hour long as I paid attention to who arrived when I did and they were still waiting to be seated at 3:10. This is not the kind of impression you want for a first time donor. In my humble opinion, this place totally lacks anyth
If I could give 0 stars I would my first time donating was 3-4 weeks ago and I told the lil young shorty not to stick me in an unusual vein she clearly seen I never got stuck in that vein and still proceeded and it did hurt bad but she disregarded what I said with an attitude and the needle end up coming out my vein and I had to be taken off early I'll never go back and you can tell the staff ghetto and move on they own time I'll stick to the other ones ?
They are very discriminatory, if you don't speak English very well, you can't donate plasma. It is illogical and absurd. I met all the requirements and some things in English I did not understand so the doctor denied the donation
Ghetto Hood Politics. This is why they call Bio Life in Charlotte "Last Chance University" cause it's literally the bottom of the barrel service, from the top of the staff to the ones on the floor. After your new donor dates, they will tell you what he or she coming back for? He or she homeless, etc. Like wow. They literally discuss talk about donors, will literally rudely stick you and leave you in pain and if it's near 5 o clock they will not re stick and defer you on purpose simply cause they don't like
For some reason no other plasma center I have ever donated at EVER had a problem finding my veins. I've been donating plasma since 2011 and NEVER has any center had issues with my veins. I came here in 2021 and the homosexual who checked veins said he couldn't find any veins, told me to drink water. My veins were as clear as day. Also the points redemption on the BioLife app has been down for over a month, what's up with that?
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
