First time donor-comfortable experience. I had different expectations seeing the volume of clients but to my surprise I was professionally and pleasantly taken good care of during my visit. I came in and got told that, due to my "high estradiol dose" that, mind you, is biodentical and simply puts my estrogen levels where they should be for a woman my age, and poses no risk whatsoever to my health. TERRIBLE. Reporting to BBB, drove an hour because this center NEVER answers the phone. I was told they have no receptionist! How do people get test results? Ask about appointments? IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE STAFF DO NOT SCHEDULE PEOPLE! I went in and they were over an hour late for my appointment. LITERALLY TOOK 5 HOURS FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT. They have staff members assisting their family members and let them cut in front of everyone.

I've read a lot of reviews and I understand every one doesn't have a pleasant experience with everything. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. The only downside was the site does not inform you that you have to donate about 8 separate times within a 30 day period to get the money advertised. Also the advertised amount was $750. I was told I'd received up to $650. This should be advertised instead of having to go through a questionare and everything else they offer to prequalify.

I try to stay to myself with my headphones because I now there's typically a wait, and the appointment time you choose doesn't really matter. That's a suggested time. Out of the two locations Ive gone too, Chicago's Biolife is the fastest to getting me out once I'm in line to donate. Some of the Gals, Mercedes, Erica, and Jakayla are excellent over there.

No help once in this place no receptionist to answer calls anything you guys really need to fire and replace entire crew hopefully it would make your team more professional and productive

I wish I could've given yo ass 0 stars...I've been calling them since March 11th, 2025 and it's March 18th now...still no answer. To whom it may concern I had been coming to BioLife for the past five months and those five months I have had unsuccessful donations. I was told that I could request a certain person each time I came into the center. Well fast forward I found someone that was able to stick correctly each time I came. However, the person that was able to provide me with a perfect plasma, donation was given a promotion and could choose to assist donors or to assist donors in the donation process. After almost 3 hours they told me my veins were too small. They allowed me to complete a physical, do blood work, complete multiple questionnaires, and then tells me you need a good vein in both arms.... not one. It was and is always quick and easy. Sometimes there are longer lines. Though they do give you time. The longest ive seen some one there is 5 to 6 hours. Mostly people who stay hydrated and dont smoke anything usually are in and out quickly. As a good diet and ample water helps tremendously. Stay Amazing everyone!!

They really need to shut this location down, they never wonna give appointments, they tell you to book, but there's never an opening for new comers, they never answer the phones. Very rudely and very disrespectful.

I had a great experience not a very long wait the nurse called me in her office I passed the exam answered some questions .and I was very comfortable with her. This location takes the longest. Other locations I'll be in and out by 30- 35 minutes. This location takes an hour minimum. Between the staff just chilling and talking shi about others and the security getting in the middle of their work. Definitely wish it was as efficient as the other locations I've been too. Also I get a hematoma every other time I got there. They need to brush up on their training.

Unable to schedule through the mobile app because a state to state address transfer requires a phone call to the new location which is cool by be. I left a bad review a month ago here is a even worse one, the workers are lazy, unpleasant and unprofessional they are way to strict and quick to send you back home even of you are minute late. The staff at 87th were friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about their work and everyone worked as a team. Overall, it was a very pleasant donating experience.

The process was very long. I arrived for my appointment at 11:40 and did not complete my donation until 3pm. The computer I was using did not work properly and my responses were no captured. It was so cold in that building. I noticed the thermostat was set at 20 degrees. I will be sure to dress warmer for my next donation.

This place brings in bad people and the workers are lazy. I will go to another location from now on because this place is so terrible, it raises my heart rate and subsequently I get denied. This never happens at Harwood Heights because it's a calm setting.

Annie is very professional with the entire process. When something goes wrong she's there to help fix the problem and explain to you what's going on.The workers are all friendly and polite. The place is always clean.

Great staff but horrible system; you'll never get your full amount because you have to make an appointment to donate and you have to make 2 donations in same 7 day period to receive the maximum amount but they make you wait another week to donate instead of 2 days later(they'll claim to be booked but in reality it saves them money because they just keep giving you $40)

Danisha has people skills as she builds interpersonal relationships with clients. She empathizes with them and knows their needs and wants to make them feel comfortable to express their concerns and needs. Taking blood work can be draining, but I'm here to help the community as a whole and that's where she comes in. She makes sure both her clients have quality costumer care and working with her team by showing workmanship and discipline.

The employee is very nice respectful, helpful and friendly. The staff is very good at what they do and I would recommend that any body would go to them.

Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The only complaint would be that the overall process was very long. I was told it would take about 2 hours, I was there for 3 hours.

I would leave a review internally, but even though I received a feedback reminder email the day before, when I went to actually provide feedback, I was not able to because my survey session had ended. I would have rather kept my review private, since the reasons include personal health information. So then it's a mystery for why I leave 2 stars.

Highly unprofessional and takes longer than octa?that's pretty bad. If you have anything to do after donating, don't. You won't have time. I'll never come back to this location. And a mouse trap in the corner definitely isn't a comfortable feel given it is possible that it's been in storage with all items used for donations. And I know everything is wrapped but if you open the packaging you will touch the item of use and that will touch me. Very unsanitary. Won't be back omg!!!

When I first started going it was great. Place is clean staff was friendly and polite. After about 2 months they started hiriring anything. This one lady was so rude to me she literally tried to fight me and I got deferred I'm done donating forever at all centers

Ms. Annie Bryan made my second Day Back feel like My first. I was nervous because My first day I had a nurse stick me wrong. She happens to be the supervisor and I highly recommend you ask her to poke you when you come/go to visit. Had a great experience being a first time donor at this new Plasma Center. I was in and out within 2.5 hours!! The front desk was helpful, ensuring check in was smooth. The entire space was clean, including the bathroom. I'm addition, they offer you crackers and water before donating, which is a plus! Symone was great with helping me create my account. This was my first experience donating plasma and it was more than I'd expected. The center was very clean and the staff was very understanding and helpful. I was fortunate enough to have the best technicians in Chicago to draw my blood and to provide services for the plasma deposit. The management was on top of things, even when circumstances arose they gave clarity on the situation and answered any questions patrons would have. I look forward to my next plasma donation in the next few months or so. Great

They tell you your a hero in the beginning but treat you like a 0 after that first donation, don't waste your time in this place, CSL Plasma has always been a better option no appointment needed.

I go at least twice a week donating plasma with BioLife plasma is more than a deed it is a pleasure of mine, the staff from management to security is picked and selected very well, stepping into this facility is like going to visit friends and associates. Rude customer service at the front desk. Disorganized staff. The staff here has complete and utter disdain for the people who donate. No human compassion. No peaceful atmosphere. A very unhealthy environment. There is no efficiency to move the donors in and out in as quickly as possible in order to minimize the disorderly conduct of some of the donors. I signed up on the Biolife website to become a donor 12/26/23. The earliest appointment available for a new donor was 1/3/24. So on 1/3/24, I presented my ID and social security card and then proceeded to complete the questionnaire in regards to my medical history. Porsha has consistenty made my visits quick and pleasant. I have a lot of questions and need a lot of reassurance. She's been patient and clearly explained the process. I'm grateful to the entire team for making the process quick and efficient. It's easy to become a number in Chicago, but Porsha welcomed me back, made me feel seen and heard. If you've had bad experiences with needles, doctors or people in general I suggest this be your donation center.

This is an excellent facility but its problems Are from its successful marketing. Repeat donating last week 2 1/2 hours and this week 3 1/2 hours. With proper management start to finish should be 1 1/2 hours. I know they will get better.
