Reviews Summary

The consensus from reviews highlights severe issues with wait times, often 3+ hours despite appointments, due to chronic understaffing. Many donors report frustration with inefficient processes, poor communication, and unprofessional staff behavior (e.g., gossiping). While some praise individual staff members, most experiences are negative, citing wasted time, deferred donations for minor reasons, and inadequate compensation. Racial profiling and inconsistent rules are also mentioned. A few positive notes commend cleanliness and kindness, but overall, the center is seen as unreliable and poorly managed.

First the pros: the staff is incredibly kind from what I've experienced so far. They smile and make you feel comfortable. My first two donations I experienced burning from the needle and assumed it was just me, but one of the techs quickly realized the return was set high and I haven't had any trouble since. I also like that with the rewards, I can use the card itself or take out cash at an ATM. The new donor bonus was pretty good pay, too. The cons: holy mother of god the wait time is usually atrocious. I

ATTENTION: IGNORE ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ABOUT THIS PLACE. THERE IS NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS PLACE. I've donated plasma at multiple centers over the years, and unfortunately, this BioLife location has been the most frustrating by far. Regardless of when you arrive?early morning, midday, or afternoon?you're almost guaranteed to be stuck waiting for hours. It's not just occasional delays; it's a chronic issue that makes planning anything else for the day impossible. The facility appears severely understaffed.

I came to this center twice to become a plasma donor, but, unfortunately, both visits ended without a successful donation, although I was ready and spent about two hours there each time. The first time I was refused because I used a phone - I just wanted to translate medical terms, because I don't speak English fluently yet. I understand that they have rules, but I would like a little more understanding, especially from the center, which works with people from different countries. At the second visit, I w

This location is hit or miss. It's not consistent and too many times I spend 3 hours to in the end get a come back card. They need to put chairs out in place of a line and print the next label and call the next person. Or take a number option. I give it a three because the staff that does show up for work is nice and considerate. I hate giving a poor review because I know it's not the staff who show fault but the reality is they need to limit the number of appointments allowed until they are staffed with p

This place is genuinely awful. I have never seen such a poorly managed, inefficient plasma donation center. Do not even bother making an appointment unless you have 3-5 hours of your day to spare for an appointment that's supposed to take an hour. You will wait in line for two hours minimum every single time, no matter what time of day you schedule your appointment. Nowhere to sit so hopefully you can stand that whole time. I would not normally go out of my way to write a bad review, but this place seriou

Great customer service and the clinic is clean. The wait time needs improvement; seems like turn over is quite high (30-45 day churn). I'd recommend allowing a minimum amount of donors for any given window to allow donors to have a better wait time and overall experience as well allow new staff to not become overwhelmed/discouraged?there's an opportunity to keep quality staff and encourage donors to donate. A donor is giving to others within our community and I believe their time should take priority. Ke

I usually have had good experiences at this center yet on this day it was terrible. They were under staffed and very busy and close to closing. I didn't begin frustrated but by the end of my donation I was very unhappy. I noticed a phlebotomist working & doing the bare minimum (more talk, no work). I waited an hour and a half to be put on a machine then waited 30 minutes to be taken off due to them trying to hook up the last of the donors since they had now locked the doors. First, the phlebotomist doing

The positives are the place is clean and in a safe area. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. The negatives though. What is the point of a reservation/appointment if you don't get seen? You frequently see staff around but not working. I get that not everyone has the the same experience or job, but when there's a queue of 10-15 people and no one seems in a particular hurry to help, that's not good. I've been at this center and one back home in Southern California and I have never been at the home center

This place is inconsiderate. Staff is nice but you wait over 3 hrs just to get stuck. I have been trying to come back for my second donations for over two weeks and haven't been able to because the wait is so long just to get stuck. My first donation appointment had to get rescheduled because they couldn't get me in a bed by 8pm mind you my appointment was 4:45. They schedule as if they are staffed and you stand in line for a finger prick almost an hour by its self. I was told come earlier and in certain da

This Biolife location is an absolute disaster, a black hole of incompetence and neglect. It's hands-down the worst plasma donation center I've ever encountered, and I've seen some bad ones. Every single visit is a nightmare?expect to waste at least TWO HOURS just standing in line like cattle before you even get near a donation chair. Doesn't matter if you book the first slot of the day or show up mid-afternoon; the wait is soul-crushing. Unless you've got 4-6 hours to burn, don't even bother. This isn't jus

The employees are nice, but that wait is beyond insane, and I know for a fact that is what deters people from coming. I was a new donor and was put at the front of the line once all my screening was done, but she actually put me SECOND. So when I went for my second donation another day, all the new donors were being put at the front of the line, not the second of the line, so that has been really bothering me. Then I got there at 11:06 for my 11:15 appointment, and I was in line for TWO HOURS! Once I got on

Positives: Pay, nice staff Negatives: Wait time. Even with appointments you should expect a minimum of two hours. The site manager (or higher ups) should realize they underpay their employees and are they are being overworked. You will lose your customer base as this wait time becomes the the norm. If customers can see how understaffed and stressed the staff are ITS BAD. Waiting 2 plus hours when they turn you away if you're late by 10 minutes is ridiculous (none of the operations employees fault)

It's absolutely crazy here. Staff level is incredibly low. I've been here for a little over 2 hours and I'm still in line. I've seen a couple people that have been sitting in the chair waiting to get a needle stick for 30 mins. They also are skipping new donors to the front of the line. They have done it 6 times since I've been standing here. There's 2 people working a 12 chair area. The screening girl is incredibly slow too. This is ridiculous.

As I write this survey I have already determined that it will go on deaf ears. I'm coming up on my 3 year anniversary standing in usual donor lines wondering how long we wait today Or how many donors will get to step in front of the line because they're a new donor. I mentioned to my wife about rewarding the regular donors sometimes especially the ones that are here each and every week but we know we're in for a long wait no matter what the time of day is. When I first started here the only section that was

Before I rant I must say the people that work here seem like very good people. I hate that they have to deal with their company?s constant issues. Why does it take 3 weeks for their ONE doctor to approve someone to donate? It is 2025 and you have ways to look at paperwork other than taking a horse and buggy to the office once per week. Anyway, I'm done trying to do a good thing. It wasn't even for the money.

Today was my first time donating plasma. I was a bit nervous, but the Staff was very nice and understanding. Sabrina and Lily (sorry, four wrong spelling!) were outstanding! They explained everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable and fit for the donation (even if I had eaten enough), checked on me frequently, and made me feel reassured, not just a number. The nurse who welcomed people at the front desk was also very kind both times (yesterday and today)! I had to reschedule because I had forgotten m

Super understaffed, they're turning donors away to decrease wait times (watched 4 people in front of me get deferred, including myself.) Staff are exceptional, so I feel bad for them. If you aren't deferred, expect a 3-4 hour wait time.

This location is constantly understaffed and the wait times are longer than necessary. This is one reason I don't donate as often as I can because I don't always have 3-4 hours to spend at the donation center. This location needs more staffing ASAP! When I started donating in Sept. 2024 there were 4-5 sections (6 beds each) open at a time. For months now there have only been 2 sections/12 beds open. The staff that is there is usually pretty friendly.

Staff is very nice, but waited for NO reason lol. Appointment was at 1pm (got there around 1:05pm) and spoke to Mary at the front desk. She ?checked? me in and told me to wait in the lobby. It wasn't until 2:20pm when ANOTHER staff member noticed I had been sitting for awhile and asked if I was checked in. Turns out I wasn't. I wasn't even in queue. First time donor for BioLife and I was supposed to show my ID, SSN, and address when I checked in but I was never asked for that info in the first place. Which

Do not go here unless you have a full day to spare. Whether new donor or returning the service is slow. My first donation took like 5+ hours due to the lack of staff and elongated process. My second time back, I wish I didn't come. I waited 2 FULL hours just to be seated, & an additional 30-40 minutes to be connected.

It was my first time donating plasma ever and the team was so nice and friendly! I had a reaction a little over halfway through my donation and they were on top of it. They made me feel comfortable and talked me through it and helped me get back to feeling good quickly. I was nervous and they were able to calm me down. I will be back to give it another chance! Everyone that I encountered there was helpful, kind and I felt comfortable. The location was clean, nice and I will definitely return.

The workers are slow and are not considered of anybody?s time. They take forever and walk around nonchalantly to get people taken care of. The only thing good is the money. It literally takes 4-5 hours after a set appointment. And it's not bc they are understaffed. I'm not saying don't go, just be aware and know you're going to be there forever and when it's your turn they will let a new customer go in front of you.

Schedule an appointment 4:10pm but don't get back in a chair until 3 hours later. Staff are not very nice they need trained on how to be polite and mindful of others. The center gets new donators and put them in front of the line which delays seasoned donations visits. If I didn't need the money I wouldn't even bother. I wish they just get another bio center in the city. Two ?? because I didn't die and got a little money.

.Pay for your time is above average. .Staff approachability is exceptional. . Staffing to donor ratio is very low. .Wait time is pretty bad (unless within a few hours of start of day.) Since of urgency to keep a flow feels low. Summary: This is a good place to donate as long as you can spare near 4hrs of your time. On a well staffed day it could be 1-2 hrs. You need to be prepared to stand during the wait. No seating is available until you make it to the donor bed. Donors: Going to sleep, or not pumpi

You have an appointment at 7am and stand in a line for vitals until 9am. Then you stand in line waiting to donate until 11am. This is the absolute worse donation center in Ohio. Understaffed way too much volume for the amount of workers. They have 30 people in line and only 12 beds!!!!!! Then you wait in line for 3 plus hrs, only for you to make it to the front of the line and get dished by a new donor with a red card. Why is this place still open?? Give the employees a raise and some help and machines tha

Friendly staff but ridiculous with waiting almost an hour so far to even donate. I understand this location is understaff and having only 2 people running the floor. To the point I am going to walk out and leave because this is ridiculous. Saturday when I came no problems at all with waiting and got out easily by 2 hours.

Facility is neat n clean. But staff is too slow. Even you go by appointment it takes you 3 to 4 hours. There is no place for sitting while you wait for your turn. Either they should lesser the slots of appointment or increase staff. Not satisfied ??

Not a good visit. I had an appointment for 2:30. I didn't get out of there until almost 7; pm. There were only two people handling donations and you could tell they were stressed. At one point, one of the donors was nauseous and threw up. That took more time for the staff to handle. When I left, lines were backed up to the door. Closing time is normally 7: pm. I doubt it was cleared out before 9: pm. It's a good thing I ate before I went.

I heard it's best to come in the morning so you wouldn't be waiting in line for 4 hours. Yes, you have to schedule an appointment. It's in and out if you come around 7:00 AM. I heard the workers are very friendly and even when they are tired they are very understanding! I also suggest drinking a lot of water and probably eating something before you go so you won't feel "sick" when leaving. *I'm going based off my family's experiences, I'm scared of needles lol.

It was my third visit and I was getting text message about giving and so I decided to go, my appointment was 10:30. Didn't get in a chair until 11:30 and then on top of that, I leave, your money is usually on your card before you leave the facility well mine wasn't and then when it did show up I only received $50.00 which was very upsetting waiting over 3 hours and only get $50.00 !!! I tried calling of course no one answers so I guess I'm out of luck I was supposed to receive 115.00, with that being sai

Came in for a donation and physical and was racially profiled and disrespected. Both ladies at the front overly asked for identification (which wasn't needed because I'm not a new donor) and when I accidentally showed the wrong documents the first worker dismissed me like I wasn't standing there, and took 3 white women that were waiting as new donors and didn't ask them for any ID or documents! Then Second worker approached me with an attitude, I tried showing her my current W2 and current paystub and she d

The guy was nice but I wasn't able to wait to 3-hours to give plasma. I use to give plasma in a different city and it never took more than 2 on a bad day. Recommend going somewhere else

If I could give "0" stars I would! I arrived 30 minutes early in the hopes that might help the process... uhhh... NO. I signed up online... got NO less than 6 emails from them about all of the many requirements for the first time visit. I printed out my verification of address requirement (my Spectrum bill) I brought the REQUIRED coupon for the payment voucher. My current medication lists... For nothing! They don't accept printed copies!! NO WHERE in the extensive registration process does it say that this

Horrible Plasma Center? set an appointment and still stood in line for over 3 hours(lawsuit waiting to happen)?. They make elderly people stand for hours?the workers are slow and engage in personal conversations while +30 donors are painfully waiting.I regret switching centers. Don't make the same mistake.

It is super common to wait HOURS before being in a bed. Today I came in for my appointment at 1:15pm and at 3pm I still was waiting. If you're going to make people wait for hours, at least have somewhere to sit between check-in and the beds.

This was my first time visiting a plasma center and the last!! This place is so under staffed and poorly ran, I wouldn't trust anything coming out of this location. So unorganized and not very clean. I noticed that most of the donors who were brown or black skin were turned away and told that they couldn't donate while all of the Caucasian donors were processed right on through even though they had to wait 4 hours ??. The staff are rude and inconsiderate as well.

Waited 2.5 hours to be told I needed a doctor to clear me via letter due to mental health diagnosis caught on screening. If they had a list of conditions requiring medical clearance available on the app, I could?ve come prepared. Or if they had some way to flag and end the process once disqualification conditions are disclosed. Why make me wait an hour after I apparently failed the screening to let me know I couldn't donate? I won't be returning and if you value your time, I'd recommend no one else does eit

Nice people. Just not enough of them to handle the swells in volume. This too often results in exceptionally long wait times. Also, your repeated canned replies to all these reviews only adds to the negative experience.

This is absolutely the worst center I have ever been too. People just walk right by you and twiddle there thumbs while your waiting to get started. And just talk to co workers. I will never come back here I rather drive a hour away

Taylor and Caili were very efficient today. Made me feel welcoming. And actually the whole staff was performing great. Would recommend Bio-Life

I have been here an hour and have accomplished nothing the wait time is horrible. There is a super nice guy at the front Everytime the problem I have is getting seen by a nurse. I would rather go to Lima or Findlay.

The slowest waste of my time ever.Because i suffer from seasonal allergies i cant donate.Took them an hour after my appointment time to even see me only to ask like two questions and send me home. Drove an hour for nothing....Can hear employees having non hippa appropriate conversations from the waiting room.I knew a place that sells my plasma for cosmetics would be horrid but this place took the cake.

If you have any sort of health issue, don't waste your time. I wanted to donate so I could make money doing something meaningful but this place has wasted 4 hours of my time over the last two days and I still haven't been able to donate so I'm done. Went in for my initial appointment yesterday- I waited an hour before they started the process of my initial visit with me, it took another hour to get through the check-in, identity verification, vitals and questionnaire portions and while I'm waiting to do the

The staffing issues are getting bad. If you schedule an appointment after 5pm it will be a crap shoot if you get to donate. You would think they would stop appointments and not let you schedule an appointment in the evening.

Make sure that appointments are not over booked and that center is fully staffed. 5 minute increments for appointments is too close together, too many donors. Maybe adjust to 10 or 15 minute increments. Also no new donors accepted as walk ins if the center is already backed up and or short staffed

I highl dont recommend coming here i was playing a video onmy phone while I was donating it wasn't loud to be honest it was I did forget they're rule you need headphones other center has different rules a manager approached me and said you need headphones i said I forgot my bad he said what you say OK and I got terminated for. That was petty af weird staff to be honest

Very inconsistent. I usually come first thing in the morning and sometimes it takes me 10-15 minutes to get my vitals done and I get hooked up. Today I had to leave as I had a 7:15 appointment and still had 3 people in front of me for vitals at 7:50 The issue is staffing, either they have someone who is terrible as making schedules or they purposefully understaff to maximize profits (1 billion dollar company in 2023) so this no dig to the actual workers as they are great and very nice but clearly something

Tried to go in and donate. Says I was ineligible to donate today call the center. Tried calling for a half hour. Literally watched the heavy set lady (250 plus) dark black hair and glasses that checks people in, Hang up the phone on me 15 times as I'm waiting in the lobby. ! Disgusting way to treat patients and customers both. They blew out my Veins last 2 donations as well because Nick stayed up till 2 am when he had to be at work at 6 am. His eyes were barely open and he was not fit for work. 2nd time 2 d

I have been coming here over a year and yes there are times that the wait is long, but that is business, in my opinion. People and businesses are not perfect, but I appreciate the work the staff does here. They are very friendly and they work hard when the line is long.

The level and degree of detachment between client and workers is awkward and a challenge to deal with. Also, having a previous sprain to my wrist, I wore a compression wrap and dragged into a lengthy process and was being told I had bruising and swelling, which I DID NOT.

By far the worse donation center out of CSL, Octa pharma and grifols, staff are nice and helpful but its ran very very poorly. Horribly understaffed, location has 36 beds but only uses 10-14 of them every time I've been in. Today they had a total of 7 open beds the entire 2ish hours of waiting in line for a bed. To get a hematoma for the second time from the same stick technician. They tried to avoid a clot so I could still donate but it didn't work and I was differed after waiting almost 3 hours in a line

I have been coming here for some time now Unfortunately I like the staff and it's clean but with appointment and regular donor I stood in line for 2 hrs waiting to get into donation bed not worth that money other centers when you get thru first donation yes pay a few dollars less but will have you in and out faster so equals out I will not be returning always when you say anything we are short staffed is reason sorry guys

I have gone to this donation center twice a week for a month, there is genuinely always something wrong. Usually it is that they are extremely understaffed and it often takes three hours to do a regular donation. This is not the fault of the workers, but I don't know why so many people are scheduled if they can never handle it. I'm currently waiting with a pager because they were ?30 mins behind.? It's been over an hour now since my appointment time and I haven't even been allowed to sign in. There have bee

BioLife Plasma is a great place to donate your plasma. They treat me very well, they do their best to get you in and get you out, and they give you the highest pay for your plasma donation.

The place seems extremely understaffed. I had appointment at 2:50 pm and it was close to 7:00 pm before I got finished. I didn't even get in a chair until around 5:30 pm. While the staff is very polite and professional, there doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency. I understand that you may be short staffed. If that is the case, do not schedule so many appointments.

People were waiting hours to be seen. I waited nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment time and then left. It's sad that there are people willing to donate but the facility is incapable of efficiently receiving the donations. I'm sure this deters most people from donating- here or otherwise.

I have been with BioLife for 3 years and never had a problem until now. I was deferred until my paperwork work was cleared. 3 months later I get a phone call say I can come back and donate. Now I have no income at the moment so this is my income. I catch the bus because I was told I could donate. I get there and can't donate because she said my paperwork wasn't done, now I am stranded because I have no bus fair. I'm explaining this and their response was oh well. Then as I'm walking out the door one of the

I have been a long time donor. 2+ years. I no longer need the money, I do this as an act of good will to help those in need of medical treatment. Sad to say it gets less and less likely for me to continue as the tides have changed. I want to start this portion of my review by stating that each and every member of the actual center has been absolutely amazing. I know much of the centers staff on a name basis, and they know and recognize me. They're all great. However this center has lost several managers ov

Staff spends too much time with chit chatting amongst themselves when people are waiting to donate or leave. Gossiping about patients, scheduling etc. makes the entire process too long

The wait time is too long. Any time I go lately, it's at least 3 hours, it's just not worth my time after working all day. My bf was there earlier this week, he was there 3 hours and 40 minutes to get $40.

The wait is so bad. Every time. If they are so understaffed then don't schedule so many appointments. I like helping but it takes hours out of my day. Do better.

I'm new to this location, great staff , very nice people. But however its very short staffed. It's a 2-3 hour wait every time I come in to donate. Hopefully it's gets better because it's not fair to donors.

So far I've waited about 10 hrs total in the office to get plasma taken so I can help other people not die. And it has yet to be accomplished. The waits are insane. What's the point of making an appointment? It doesn't mean anything. Whoever is running this place needs to get some outside advice on how to streamline the process. If you're making appointments and people are still waiting for hours then something is wrong.

They are very slow. You make an appointment and still have to wait forever just to be seen. Why give appointment times and you're not going to see people at the time you tell them to come. I just want to get my first donations out the way and never return. Time is important to me and I feel the company is unprofessional for not having their appointment times in order.

Very nice experience.Staff was very helpful and process was simple.I don't understand the negative reviews? As long as you are healthy and and do not have any fresh tattoos you will be able to donate.

Went to this center today for the first time. I have donated at 3 other centers over the years without issue. Today I was turned away for the first time. I want to preface this by saying I'm in excellent health, no issues with my heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, blood, you name it. Additionally, I'm an extremely low risk donor- no tattoos, no drug use, no alcohol use, not currently sexually active (and when I am I always use protection). I feel like I'm an ideal candidate- very healthy, low risk. But I was tur

Waste of time, they say tattoos aren't an exclusion but apparently the trained clinical staff can't tell if you have good veins or not if you have tattoos on your arms, they also have concerns they wouldn't be able to differentiate bruising from brightly colored tattoo inks. So they told me I can't donate, If they're that incompetent in phlebotomy I'm glad I don't have to worry about risking my safety donating through them.

Honestly don't waste you time. My friend I had appointments hers was at 130pm and mine at 2pm. Never said that they were running behind. We ended up waiting over an hour not getting anything started and left a little after 230 We had to cancel because we wouldn't be done in time to go pick up the kids. They could've said they were running behind! The drive was 30 minutes. Needs improvement!

Went to my first appointment at the Bethel Road location. I prepped myself in every way possible, ready to go. Unfortunately I walked out disappointed. I had an appt at 9:40 am, and got there on the spot. The line was ATROCIOUS, and barely moved. I have RA, so I could feel my joints starting to give me problems. I didn't know I'd have to wait an estimated time of 1.5-2 hours JUST to get registered and screened (and that's not counting the two hours they express will be the average process--screening,

Friendly staff but extremely understaffed. Used to be in and out within 90 minutes and now it's usually more than 3 hours anytime in the afternoon. They definitely need to make some changes to their processes. Many months later and nothing has improved here. Less and less staff. Talks of a hiring freeze. Extremely inefficient location.

Facilities are great, staff is great, but why do we have to schedule an appointment when I have to wait over an hour to get a bed to give a donation. I am not sure if the scheduling is off or the center is extremely under staffed. This has been going on now for over a month and a half. I scheduled an appointment for 3:45 and there are 20 people waiting for a bed in front of me. If the center can't handle how the appointments are scheduled, they need to limit how many appointments per hour.

Very poor service . Workers don't work with urgency . They feel they are doing you a favor. I don't blame them . How can a multi billion industry like this not hire more people for this overwhelming job

No point of having an appointment if you're just gonna have to wait 4+ hours

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The lives helped out by donating is great, the money is a bonus. Overall a good experience..

There is something going on at the Columbus location. People are nice but they are so short staffed it really becomes unfair to the ones that show up and the customer trying to donate. People can't expect to wait hours to get through to donate . If you can't get done in 2 hours from start to finish then BioLife should pay double. After observing the operations and my lean background that place definitely needs better systems in place to become more efficient. However, it starts with people showing up. Ag

Grace, Toby, and Eddie are the best!! They are all very nice and very good at their job, I always hope to see them when I come in to donate!

I have been 7 times and am on track to finish my initial promotion on time. They do seem short-staffed at the moment. Donation appointments have lasted from 1-2 hours. (Initial appointment took more like 3.5 hours.) Staff is very professional and kind. Wifi is good and is the best way to make some money while watching Netflix.

On Thursday March 13 2025 the mail supervisor stuck my right arm he didn't do it right kepted adjusting the needle made it a blood clogged my arm didn't finish the donation But still got payed 90 so came to my appointment on Tuesday March 18 my appointment was at 1:00pm would not let me donate because my left arm was red when I don't use my left arm I always use my right arm so set me another appointment for Thursday March 15 at 3:00 saw the nurse again and would not let me use my right arm that I used for

Every time I have came in I've noticed Shelby working hard and assisting everyone. She seems well respected by her peers and all the donors. She is always gentle, patient and welcoming to all. She deserves to be recognized for all her hard work and dedication to her employment and donors.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the second time I've waited over two hours just to not be able to donate because of things they either didn't communicate clearly or could?ve communicated before my appointment and didn't. Incredibly unorganized, and the slowest employees I've ever seen. Don't bother.

Wait times are way too long! Appointments are scheduled, but time is not respected. Expect to wait up to 4 hours to actually donate. Every review complaining of time has a response from biolife, yet no improvements are made.

I like the staff and everything, but seriously what's the point of Appointments when you still there for 2-4 hours???? Like it's so ridiculous that it's not worth the money to go and wait for hours for a bit of pay

This is the slowest running business I've ever been to in my life. Appointments start at 7:00am, why am I already waiting an hour to be seen for my 7:40 appointment?? Absolutely ridiculous. This process is a nightmare. Website says the visit will take about two hours and after an hour and a half I still haven't even been seen by a nurse. How disrespectful and irritating

This place is a joke. The Bethel Rd center has a total of 36 beds, but typically only 12-18 of them open. It is not uncommon that there are 20-30 SCHEDULED donors waiting in line for a bed, even after the center closes. One of the last times I donated, I finally finished donating AFTER 10pm (at which point there were only two employees total working, although one was back in her office the entire time) even though my SCHEDULED appointment was at 5:20pm!!!!! And all for a measely $40. I had reached out to th

Nice staff, but don't be fooled by the "appointment"-- I often *stand* in line 1.5 hrs just to get the bed and then it can be another wait to get plugged in. So even with an appointment it is frequently a 3 hr process, and already several times due to systems being down they couldn't take anyone for most of the day. Other times they give you a pager because there are literally 30 people in line ahead of you and there's no more standing room! BTW you only have a 10 minute window around your appt time to log

Biolife is more than just a donation center! I have donated off and on throughout my life at many different centers and never had such a pleasant experience each and every time. The employees are the most polite and pleasant people I've ever come across... I have consistently donated at biolife because it's about more than the money there! I will always be grateful for their hard work dedication to the needs of each individual and the kindness I feel when I'm there. Keep up the great work staff??????????

Went to Columbus 53 miles from my house. Had a 2pm appointment and by 730pm hadn't seen anyone. Honestly it was quite busy so I kind of understood. Finally saw someone and was told even though I had diabetes that it didn't disqualify me. Did all the testing and passed. Was waiting for my chance and was turned away because it was late. So next time I went to Lima. They knew at the beginning of my appointment that I inject insulin but didn't disqualify me till 3 and a half hours after my arrival. What an i

I set an appointment for 3:10 and I didn't get called back until around 6:30 then was told because I take tramadol daily they couldn't take me ?? there were so many people waiting the same as I was. I understand now that you can take it just not daily. They said your body needs the platelets to heal if you're needing to take it daily. It would be great if that was on their website or they pre asked you before spending hours waiting and you walk out empty handed and not helping anyone. It also takes up a spo
