I have never had a bad experience at this location! They are always professional and positive, even when they are busy. If I was allowed to choose who was assigned to me I would choose Katie! She has always answered any questions I had, engaged in small talk without neglecting other donors needs, and is just all around a sweet person! Having a good tech makes all the difference. If you're thinking of donating I would highly recommend this location!
Jessica helped me at the front desk today! I've been coming here for years, but today I was inspired to write a review after watching Jessica in action. She is so nice and informative. She's also super patient! Everyone here is so great, but Jessica really deserves a shout out. Plus, my finger stick didn't hurt at all! EDIT 6/25: Unfortunately this place is also bad about not having enough help up front. I just walked out because there is only one person and they won't give her any help
My first time was today! Gherica stood out to me the most because she did my stick. And it was smooth like butter???? Also her energy is amazing! My exam nurse Sam was pretty cool.. hope she doesn't forget what I told her about the watermelon ???? I'll be back in a few days.
Great?? Gherica in sliver/copper and the front counter staff and the other employees were extremely helpful and friendly today 6/28/2025!! My visit was great today!
Katie is a great Phlebotomist very patient and hard working. She enjoys communicating with her patients and making sure she's there for them at all times. She's also patient, kind and caring. I enjoy donating at Cordova BioLife I feel welcomed and respected. Wishing all of them the best and I highly recommend them.
Started donating in April 2025 & have had a great experience. Everyone is so friendly, polite, & helpful! The facility is clean, including the restrooms, & I receive my $ within seconds of completing my appointment. Highly reccommend!
As usual, Gherica is always kind and handles the process flawlessly. I didn't feel a thing. Always asks if you're ok and little small talk. She's a kind and gentle young lady. She's very soft spoken and caring. She's alright with me. Thanks BioLife for employing her. Thanks Gherica. ??
10/10 would recommend this Cordova location, which is clean with pleasant staff. Katie is my favorite person there! She made my first time and all my following experiences easy, painless, and her conversations always help ease my nerves when it comes to the needle poke. Her experience and care show in her work and I truly appreciate her and hope to donate again soon!
Front desk workers are ok! But when you get to the back to start donating. They talk to damn much and walking around ignoring the white light on the machine. My machine went of for 10 minutes of me just starting to donating. Out of 6 workers nobody came to look at the machine to see what's wrong.
It was great! The staff were so kind and patient. Matti and Maggie took care of me and made me feel very calm and safe for my first donation. Super thankful for them!
Very rude Nurse Samantha. I was well within the ?10 minute grace period? of my appointment. Tried to register as a new patient to donate plasma for the first time and no one was at the front desk when I first walked in to help guide me with signing in and I wasted 5 minutes trying to scan a fingerprint that wasn't registered because i?m a new patient. Was told to wait in the waiting room after i was handed a clipboard to sign in at the time it was 10:24am my appointment was at 10:15am. I was in the waiting
I 10/10 recommend! Today was my very first time ever donating plasma and this team made me feel so comfortable and they were all so nice and walked me through every step without me having to ask&if I had a question it was answered immediately ! I will definitely be going back! the staff is so good!
Lynn was my nurse. She is empathic and really knows how to be present to people. I have donated at other places, but this place is on the ball and there's not an a lot of negative side talk or flirting or whatever, instead it's a super professional group that is really focused on being the best at what they do.
Everything was top notch! Wonderful experience! Really enjoyed Dee Dodson! Exceptional kindness and compassion about everything. Super glad I was able to donate to help others and get paid for doing it! Great work yall!
Enjoy the experience and how quickly the staff moves along, but the cards have become essentially useless everywhere. Nearly every business denies the BioLife card now. Would like for either a link to your bank option, or maybe find a way to make the cards accessible to other businesses again.
I have donated at this location 54 times within the last 2 years. The phlebotomists are all extremely friendly and welcoming. The nurses are knowledgeable and helpful. I never felt unsafe at the Wolfchase BioLife location (they do have security). A wonderful diverse group of people donate at BioLife. No one should feel self conscious about donating plasma for $$ or for charity.
I traveled to Tennessee for my son's basketball tournament, kept on schedule and made an appt in Cordova, TN. Got checked in by Alexis. Performed all vitals, kind and exquisitely professional, which made me feel comfortable being at a new facility. Got back to donating and Jessica was super informative and gave a fabulous stick with ease. I am very impressed, keep up the great work Cordova Biolife.
My time here was Great ! The Young Lady Named Gherica was the lady who did the Sticking & she Was Amazing. It was Her Third Time doing so and I can Honestly she was very much on point. Her Energy was Amazing As Well, very Efficient, very passionate and Professional about her job I love to see that. I recommend anyone to Visit this Place because The Atmosphere there is Great. Thanks Bio plasma.
It was a pleasant experience with wonderful staff members were so helpful in making people comfortable. And it's not an all day experience. And the best part is they're doing all this to help people in need.
I always enjoy seeing Katie when I come here to donate plasma. Ever since I have known her she has been a hard worker with a good attitude. Thanks for all that you do Katie
Yalonda, Chelsea, and the rest of the team are so professional, and courteous, and very swift ;The establishment is very well kept, God bless each one of them they work so hard. I'm so happy my donations are being a help to people.
I will say the first two donations was good but literally after that it has been like a living hell. Literally a week ago got my second donation right? Been coming back there for 4 straight days for them just to tell me I can't donate because either pulse or protein which I normally don't have a problem with it but I feel like each and every day when I go up there. The machine or the worker just don't wanna qualify ppl because I went to another place and they said ?oh everything fine and my pulse is normal.
The first time I came it was a great experience. But now I'm disappointed because I've tried donating 2x after that and every time I have to wait in a long line for 30 minutes just for them to tell me my heart rate/ bpm is too high. So I had to come back again the next day. Once again I was refused! I checked my pulse before I went in and it was fine. I think their machines are screwed up. It's a waste of time and gas which is aggravating and causing me more stress.
Every single time I've been they have more than enough employees walking around but they refuse to actually work. You have to stand in line for screening for 45 minutes to an hour before you even start to donate. They have 4 stations and only ever have 2 open. I donated years ago and just went back to try again to see if things had changed and they haven't.
Trina has the best stick ever and I'm 40 going in 41, yup I've been to multiple plasma centers to donate since 2005 and I've always been stuck at multiple doctor visits and Trina is indeed the best phlebotomist I ever encountered
I had a great first donor experience! Hunter Wilson was such a great help and explained everything so well, really putting me at ease. 10/10
I've been donating plasma at BioLife off and on since 2019. My visit to BioLife was smooth and the staff was friendly. I felt comfortable throughout the process. However, my hesitation in donating weekly comes down to the time commitment?this visit took about 90 minutes. The computer for answering questions was very slow, and there were long waits at triage and again in the donation area, possibly due to limited staffing and training a new team member. I hope future visits are a bit more efficient.
I was a part of a promotion where the largest payout was on the 8th and final donation. Because of a closed site snow day the promotion was pulled and I lost out on a substantial pay. Not knowing this, I went in and donated anyhow and to my surprise was paid normal donation rates which is far lower than I would've driven to take. The site refused to assist. Will NOT be returning.
So I am a return donor for BioLife, this morning I arrived at 6:00 a.m. I finished the improcessing and donation at 9:30 I was giving a total of $50 - $5 for a new debit card which left me with $45 for 3.5 hours. So it's a total of 31 mi which is 62 mi both ways which is 3 gallons of gas. Which leaves me with $36 after I pay for my gas. I did a little research today BioLife receives approximately $1,600 for a pint of plasma that I donate at the hospital. This is a bag of garbage and I will not return to bio
The only issue I have is that the machines need to be recalibrated which I don't think they are doing. I've been turned away for BP and then I go to Walgreens or home and check it and it is not close to what they recorded. Today they had me at 160/110 but Walgreens physicians recorded 140/84 literally 10 mins later. Big difference. That's my only concern
This facility does not adhere to best practices for sensitive information handling. Having your identity stolen isn't worth the donation compensation. Per the Social Security Administration you should never give your social security number out without a legitimate purpose. I would not recommend using this company and you definitely shouldn't give them your social.
Nurses are very nice and don't treat you as a typical patient coming through a ER, more smiles and friendly. Thank yall.
Excellent environment to come to and be satisfied. The worker's are nice and much easier to talk to. Nice work pace.
The people in this facility are among the most professional people I have come across in a very long time. I enjoy going in and seeing all of their smiling faces.
Love this location, Dee and Gherica do an excellent job and gets me right every time no problem!
The machine messed up and was not able to return my red blood cells. I am not happy to be deferred for 8 weeks.
Facility is extremely well-maintained; staff is always hustling and bustling and making sure people are seen as soon as possible, despite the capacity. I've never worried about cleanliness or contamination. Must shoutout my girl Cardi? She has made my experience there quick, easy, and comfortable! She's already employee of the month currently, but I cannot give her enough praise! Definitely will be back.
Inconsistent policy procedures not being followed by staff. Been here 19 times today and for the first time they were rude about a policy nobody follows nor was I aware of any policy until now. Consider your word choice that you use when speaking with adults, do not scream at nobody please and thank you. Upon looking into previous reviews it's ok for other people to take pics of other donors but I get screamed at for speaking with my 6 year old daughter.
I'd give zero stars if I could. Do not go here! I was lied to the app said I'd get 90$ for my donation and hours later at 950 I got the deposit of $40 for the donation. Never again will I go donate, this is ridiculous I was clearly robbed. And on top of that it's so far away from me. 40$ isn't even worth the drive and time I spent there. This is never happening again. Y?all are absolutely the worst. I asked before I got checked in and was told it'd be as I was informed however only got $40
This is a great facility, it's clean and orderly with a really wonderful staff. It stays consistently busy. Be prepared for a wait. However, the line for vitals before donating moves quickly. The poke into the arm can be a little bit uncomfortable at times but they try their best to cause as little pain and inconvenience as possible for their donors. Taylor is incredibly quick, efficient and executes a pain free experience. I'd love to see her train others. She's very good at her job!
They make alot on your plasma and do not want to pay out for your time. At first they were paying $850 to $900 for 8 donations. Now they only want to pay $500 for 8 donations. If they stick you and does not work. They ask for other arm. Now you stuck twice. And if this does not work. You wasted alot of time.
Always good service. Until today we're waiting 1 hour in line just to see the nurse to do test. Before donating plasma. Only one nurse at testing station.
The staff at Biolife are very professional. I had a very good experience from the time I checked in until the time I left. They did an excellent job explaining everything to me. If you want to give plasma and make a difference, I recommend Biolife. Eryonna, Gabby and Jayla are outstanding. They offer amazing customer service.
Pretty awesome staff!!! Fun and clean atmosphere as a donor center.Mattie is an awesome phlebotomist along with a great attitude!!!
Update: removing 2 more stars. Don't bother calling or leaving voicemails. I've literally just been told they get so many they don't even bother listening to voicemails or returning calls. So unless you can spare the time to go up in person, don't expect anything to get done. They did not send the paperwork to my doctor so I had to come up in person and ask them to send it AGAIN! Hate to edit but I had to remove some stars for my recent visits. They send me home twice without telling me I needed paperwork,
It's a very easy and comfortable setting. Never could complain with any of the workers or their job, definitely 10/10
Hey I would love to get a big shout out to Lex that works in the front of processing those women and men do everything they can to make sure they you can get to the back they are so nice and sweet my pulse be high like every time then I sit out 10 mins they give you water then after my 10 mins up they call you back up and everything works out they I like Bio Life the whole staff is just amazing from the stickers to the nurses they are all just wonderful I've been to quite a few plasma centers but I say th
I took a break from coming to the center and in this time I was receiving multiple emails with coupons to come back. Well when I did decide to come back, I scheduled my appointment on the app and put in a coupon code. When I got to the center I asked was my coupon was applied and was told no I had to speak with the phlebotomist and they'll have to put it in because it was a larger amount. They put the code in and came back and said it had expired the day before and would not honor it. Now that I have been c
I loved katlin energy and how the way she communicated and also how she detailed everything for me.
Pretty decent place to sell your plasma. The staff is nice and it is usually pretty smooth to donate at non-peak times.
First time ever donating the staff were friendly and very help in guiding me to where I need to go.
Love coming here mostly because of Shelby, Allison and my favorite nurse Katrina. These three, make it fun and easy to have a conversation while you're donating plasma. If you come here, I'd recommend Shelby the ?silent sticker? aka the GOAT. She makes doing a donation much more comfortable, that in fact, now that I know her name, I'll be asking to sit in her section every single time. She's enthusiastic and great at her job. Allison is also always enthusiastic when you're doing you're check in before you
Very long wait standing up. Unnecessary could be done better. Nice staff tho.
I love everybody by a life in Cordova, but My Favorite is Maggie!
These guys are super AWESOME!! I mean from the atmosphere to the staff. It's extremely clean and the music is top-notch. No wait. Literally EVERY SINGLE BioLife staff member, that I encountered, was professional, pleasant, and very informative. 11/10 SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT TO ELIJAH!! Superb.
The staff is fantastic. Cannot say a negative thing about them. Except for whoever chose the music Wednesday August 7. Because that was awful and I can't imagine anyone actually enjoyed the hillbilly country music that they picked. They lost you a star. But great experience otherwise!
I have been coming here for 2 months and have always had a great experience. Everyone is so nice. I will say there are some that are better at sticking so I try to look for them when I show. Hunter took care me of today and was excellent but I have also had Jeff come in and save the day when I wasn't stuck properly by someone else. Thanks guys! Update: I donated this morning and was lucky to be in Hunter's section. He is awesome at finding the vein and inserting the needle perfect the first time. I had no
Today's experience was appalling. The phlebotomist's rough handling caused significant pain and excessive bleeding during the donation process. Despite my complaints, they failed to address the issue and didn't apologize. I strongly advise against visiting this location, as they prioritize profits over patient care and well-being. This experience prompted me to write my first review ? unacceptable treatment and unnecessary pain. Due to severe bleeding, the donation was halted, and I won't receive full com
Staff is always friendly and professional, and I always feel like I'm in good hands when I'm in the chair.
First time donor and I am very impressed! All of the staff were professional, friendly, efficient, and very informative from beginning to end. They checked on me frequently during my donation and someone was always nearby. I am very pleased and grateful that I chose to donate with this company. I highly recommend!
Fantastic staff, shorter wait than normal, technician Elijah made it a great visit overall. I have been donating for over 5 yrs at this facility, and never have I wanted to go anywhere else.
After having a few tough experiences my first few times here, I finally was able to actually enjoy coming to my appointments. The facility is clean and comfortable, and the staff is professional and caring. I sit and relax for an hour and then leave. Christian is hands-down the BEST guy with the needle. His technique is unmatched. If you're a pretty healthy person with a few hours to spare during your week, please consider donating! Lots of people need our help. (And getting paid is the cherry on top!)
Jennifer Armstrong is the best and friendliest staff member they have!!
The facility is very nice and clean. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The wait times are not bad at all. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the pay rate has dropped to $100.00. I think that's ridiculous and a slap in the face. Raise the rate back up if you want to keep your customers!
Everyone was great here. The process was clean, safe and thorough. I was there about 2.5 hrs my first time but it takes about an hour to donate. Hunter was the best stick I've ever had. Good job!
I've been donating a little over a year now at Biolife (Cordova, TN location). It's a win-win. Contributing to a good cause while getting a little $. I've never had a less than pleasant experience. The employees from the front end screening to the ones who do the ?sticking? are all great. Will was one of the first employees that I met there a year ago and his professionalism and friendliness have never missed the mark. Biolife ? great cause, great team. Win-win. Cha-Ching!
Just sending a shout out to Ms. Lynn today Thank you for everything you do for your donors. You are a 5 plus. So glad to have you there. You feel appreciated, everyone is working to get you in and out. They just get it done with a smile and kind words. You feel like you are something bigger than yourself.
The staff was amazing and friendly especially Jayla. She acknowledged me with a smile as I entered the building.
The center itself is just fine. The employees are as well, minus a couple office workers with sensitive attitudes, but the incentives suck and are getting worse from what I hear even for new donors! It's for a good cause but offering more would make it feel more worth peoples time. We know how much plasma is worth. Come on now. Thanks for the opportunity either way.
absolutely best place to donate plasma, i enjoy all the employees, rarely have anyone that is not in good cheerful mood. Caitlyn is heads down the best one, but i have no complaints about any of them. Rarely a wait, can usually get in and out in an hour. Shout out to Caitlyn tho for being amazing and exceptional at her job
I had a very positive experience this time while donating plasma. Mariah gave the best attitude and most experienced stick. Mattie is always the greatest while I'm there I just love to talk to her. She seems to love her job! Yolanda always seems to express compassion. Sometimes I come because I just love the staff! I was in and out of the building in a record one hour and fifteen minutes. Great job guys! ????
The staff here is amazing. Not only are they friendly and pleasant to deal with, but when something happens, they are on it and make sure you are ok. I just had a reaction to the needle during donation and Hunter did everything he could to help me feel better and more comfortable. While I was a little embarrassed, he was completely understanding and comforting. I really enjoy coming here and making donations because of people like Hunter.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. All procedures were throughly explained as they were being done.
It's always a good experience to donate to help others live a healthy life, at the same time it's sad that the staff is not well train to stick people with a needle. Had a bad experience on two occasions and missed out on donating and earning $100 left with a swore arm for 2-3 days and no gas money. A couple of the staff seem unconcerned and one suggested that I stop giving donations for a period. Now this would be my second time in life donating plasma; 1st time was back in 2019 at another center , again i
Facility is always clean. Staff is very friendly and experienced.
The place is very quiet and relaxing environment. The workers are very friendly especially Cardee she is the only one who knows how to get me in and out. She's the best. Everyone else is nice too. But she doesn't hurt my arm like everyone else.
When I first walked in for my initial donation, 3 people at the front desk asked each other if you wanna do this and all of them said no you do it. I told them if no one wants to help me, I'll just leave. One of them finally started to help my donation process. Upon my second donation, I stood in line for almost 30 minutes for them to check my vitals and of course my pulse was a little high. Imagine that, being aggravated from standing in line so long, my pulse was 106. They had me sit down for 5 minutes an
Nurse Jeanne Olivia at the St. Paul Hudson Road Location, was a great help when changing my donation location to the Cordova TN location during my recent trip!
Haven't dealt with a phlebotomist as rude as Shirley in a long while now. The attitude that I've had to endure for no reason at all is appalling and I know that I'm just one donor, but none of us should have to deal with that. If you hate your job, quit, don't give everyone else a hard time.
I really enjoy the service and care all the employees offer. They do so with the most respect and compassion for each one of the donors. With that being said The employee that stands out to me the most is Gabby I enjoy coming in and seeing her smiling face she is such a joy to be around and always has jokes and a sense of love for her job thank you Gabby and thank you BioLife for the amazing most comfortable time I could ask for.
I really have a good experience when I go and there are good workers at the front desk
Everyone here was awesome! The doctor who did my physical (very tall red hair) was very nice and respectful, answered all my questions with enthusiasm. Taylor who did the donation process was so sweet and kind, she was so gentle with the needle I didn't feel a thing! Great experience!
It was Awesome Maggie took good care of me she made sure I was ok an comfortable explaine very well great customer service staff is very friendly
Their whole process was simple and efficient. My technician, Maggie, thoroughly explained the donation steps with me and made me feel very comfortable during my first donation. As a matter of fact, every staff member I encountered was kind and thorough, their patient demeanors really eased my nerves.
Usually in and out within an hour and a half max. Today I got in a section with only two other people and it took 25 real unexaggerated minutes to even get acknowledged and on the machine. I think her name was Kaylee or Kayla. She said Saturday mornings are rough but at the time I was the only one in line to be screened so I thought it would go fast (screening took 10 mins). This is the first time this has happened. I like this center but that was just too much considering that the donation itself only take
Jeff is always so nice and has such a great sense of humor! He makes it a point to speak even if I'm not in his section! He loves his job and it shows! I appreciate his kindness and always look forward to coming back!
Customer service and entire process was very streamlined. Will was very helpful with new donor processes and entire staff was polite and professional!!
My husband has had the worst experience with this facility. There are some friendly employees but the knowledge required to pass accurate information onto the public sector is not present. He traveled a great distance more than once for appointments only to be turned away upon his arrival..
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
