Great experience! Jodi and the rest of the staff are amazing! Barely felt the needle placement and it was smooth sailing from there. I was nervous since it was my first time, but the staff were so friendly, attentive, and professional that I've already schedule my next appointment!
They keep messing up my arm. When I went last time the needle burned and she shrugged it off like oh thats just the alcohol from the prep pad. My entire arm burned. And look at how crooked the needle is. It isnt the first time this has happened. The large woman who stuck me is considered an ?advanced technican? too. I fond out that this site in corona is a training center so?. Two thumbs down!
It's SO EASY to schedule an appointment, especially since the operation hours have increased. Been coming to the Corona location for several years now and have never had any issues. The staff there is amazing as well. They are very professional and friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Try them out for yourself.
The person who stuck me was so heavy handed it gave me a hematoma? crazy bruise too. She was checking blood a few weeks prior. I do no think she is properly trained and has no business sticking patients. I can cause me to miss a donation and I suck?s that you guys do not compensate for missed donations due to the staff not being properly trained! Pick is from today? 5 days since she stuck me.
Deborah is by far the best phlebotomist here!!! Always very kind , gentle, pays close attention to detail and always checks on me throughout my donation to be sure I'm doing okay . Great bed side manners , to say the least . She is very professional , always had a positive demeanor and makes sure I'm comfortable before and after my donation. Iv have had not so great experiences donating at other locations but she's definitely the main reason why I feel safe coming back ?? Thank you Deborah S. Brown
Make sure to set aside a minimum of 2+ hours around your appointment. I had an appointment at 8:40, didn't get a chair till 9:20, didnt get hooked to the machine till 9:45, and didn't get unhooked till 10:28. Whats the point of an appointment? These ladies get distracted very easily and if they recognize anyone then get ready to sit and wait another 15 minutes while they talk to their friends and only help their friends. Mind you, this is not my first time. Definitely need more time management training.
I have been donating twice a week for the last 8 weeks now along with my 24 year son. If you're healthy and eligible, I highly recommend giving plasma donation a try. It's a simple act of kindness that has a ripple effect, touching countless lives. You'll walk away feeling proud, knowing you've contributed to something truly impactful! Another great aspect is that donating plasma can also come with small financial incentives, which is a nice bonus for doing something so meaningful.
I truly hope this helps you guys see into this location, even if this helps one person the review was worth it! I recently visited this BioLife and my experience was incredibly disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff were overwhelmed and unorganized. The waiting area was crowded and the wait times were excessively long, despite having an appointment and the fact there being very few people there to donate. I ended up waiting over two hours before being called back, which is u
Deborah is by far the best phlebotomist at Biolofe. Always very kind , gentle, pays close attention to detail and always checks on me throughout my donation to be sure I'm doing okay. She is very professional , always had a positive demeanor and makes sure I'm comfortable before and after my donation. she's main reason why I keep coming back Thank you Deborah
Made an appointment for 12- hydrated and ate the day before and the morning of- but apparently I didn't eat enough- the front receptionist treated me kindly and asked for me to return at 1:15. I understand and did that, checked back in at 1:10. A guy in front of me apparently had an appointment for 5:00 but wanted to go earlier, the new receptionist said it's not busy so they can fit him in. I proceeded to wait 40 minutes until I went back up to ask again when I would be helper, the receptionist said they?l
The Corona location was clean, and organized during my visit. Welcomed by Loni and she helped walked me through the process, and it was a great experience. Just FYI, expect a couple of hours on your first visit. Overall, It's nice to see how many lives you've helped which they show you on the app with each donation. Drink water, water, water.
I have been unable to get in contact via phone with this location for a full month. The Biolife website has no information on eligibility past the most basic requirements list. I was unable to even find how much I would be compensated for donating until I was on site for a physical with the nurse (at this time about 50 USD per donation, doubled in the first month). I have made about 30 calls in the last month, and left a few voice messages which received no callbacks. I have attempted to call throughout th
I love it that you make an appointment and come in and now they explain everything that you need. I wasn't accepted because I ?didn't drink enough water this morning.? They expect you to know exactly how much you drank the day before. And they also expect you to know how much you have drank before your appointment and if it's not what they have expected you to drink then you can't donate. How about put that information when someone books an appointment. Don't make people waste their time and gas.
I am so happy to report that my donation went super smooth. I was in and out within an hour. The vibe was so relaxing and calm. Thank you Ali for taking care of me and checking on me to make sure I was good ??
Great place to donate very clean great staff very helpful and professional, as the donation process i did not feel a thing, the only thing for me is that i got very hungry afterwards and my next meal tasted delicious. So overall great place to donate clean great staff very helpful and plus your next meal is gonna taste amazing its a win win situation.
It's a great thing to donate plasma but the overall process takes a bit of time and I feel the compensation for the amount of time and effort you are there for your appt is really not comparable. They offer new donors a great incentive but then regular donors not so much. Same incentives week after week and the rewards program isn't really worth it.
From the first time to now my seventh time donating plasma, all I have experienced is positive. Staff is respectful and kind. I love how all staff rotate their responsibilities so they all know what to expect. They walk you through everything. Thank you!
Staff is amazing, facility very clean. Busy but wait times aren't too bad most of the time. Occasionally get a phlebotomist that bruises but most are very gentle and attentive. Was expecting compensation to be more but I am ok with helping others at the same time
great experience! everyone was super sweet and everything was organized and easy to understand. Lani especially made this experience 1000% better, so sweet and absolutely hilarious, if you're blessed enough to have her help you, be grateful! everything was explained thoroughly and i felt well taken care of!
My experience here has been wonderful so far. Very thorough, very professional, and the facility is very nice and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful as well.
They don't treat you with kindness. I felt very uncomfortable when I arrived. The staff is heartless and rude. Treat you like a lesser than human being. I am going to a different place for donations following this visit. I'm sure there has to be a decent center that treats you with respect as us donors are the miracle behind the life saving science. To be honest, the money is not worth the treatment or risk. Let alone the scarring and damage to veins. Except for the fact it can save someone's life.
Always a great experience at the Corona facility! The staff are very friendly. Julie is amazing. Lani the nurse is the sweetest. Always checking in with the donors to make sure things went well through the donation process, always has a smile and very outgoing. Donating Plasma is a great way to help people in need and get an incentive while doing so.
Everytime I come to this BioLife Plasma center the staff is always so nice and attentive. They acknowledge when things are busy or taking a while but it's clear they are doing everything they can to help the situation. They do a great job with new donors explaining the process and ensuring a safe donation. Excellent team here.
Beautiful building. Clean and open Sundays. Friendly reception and easy process. Will return.
I can't believe how disappointing this place has become. After not visiting for six months, I returned only to find that they keep insisting my pulse is unusually high. This has never been an issue for me before, so I can't help but wonder if something is wrong with their equipment. It's frustrating to feel like I'm not being taken seriously. They don't care at all.
Horrible place. They bruise everyone half of them dont know what they are doing. They pick and choose when they turn people away. Always new workers who dont know what to do. They pick and choose when they let you go through. They are rude to everyone. I saw a mentally ill in there being mistreated. Attitudes from every single one. The nurses are rude. They always make up some stuff to get people out. They cheat people out of plasma say its goes off of weight but take more from you thinking you dont know pl
Super easy to set up with the app, and the staff was very friendly. Great way to make some extra money and help people at the same time.
I was very nervous before my appointment. I hate needles and I have never given plasma. Every one was very professional and kind, but Stephanie and Noel stood out because I had the most interaction with them. Stephanie did a great job with the exam and explaining the process. Joel is the tech that took my plasma. He put my mind at ease by explaining each step. It didn't hurt a bit when he put that needle in my arm! He did a great job!
Joy is amazing! She did my first donation, down the line I had some questions about my account and Joy as well as Carol helped me flawlessly!
The staff here is extremely personable and friendly. They truly seem to care about us who donate. They also have a good time bantering back and forth with each other as they work. It's a happy place to be and a very clean facility.
I really enjoyed my experience at the donation center. The staff was very professional and experienced. I am a repeat donor!
As a regular doaner, I am offered deals for payment of 120.00-125.00, however if life happens, such as low iron, missed app. the one visit is reduced to 40.00 dollars. That is not right, You also don't put together two weeks of a single visits for a min payment of 100.00 dollars, to piss off a regular contributor, is a dumb move, if I know I'm planning to miss a day, I might as well miss the whole week, just to make 40.00 bucks, l realize your a business/ corporation and don't care ( this can be seen in the
The Corona Bio Life location has a friendly and helpful staff! My phlebotomist "Steven" was kind and attentive! He always has a smile when assisting me and others!
I recently visited the BioLife plasma donation center in Corona and had an outstanding experience, largely due to the incredibly pleasant staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly conversation, which immediately put me at ease. The staff was not only professional but genuinely caring, taking the time to explain the process thoroughly and answer all my questions. They made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit, checking in on me frequently. It was clear that they v
The whole experience takes a while, but if you are prepared (not in a hurry, bring a sweater or blanket in case you get cold, and ear pods : ). it will be okay.
I've been donating for a while now and I know how busy this place can get? the staff has been on it lately. The wait times have been shorter than usual and that's a really good thing! Also being unhooked in a timely manner is so important. I know the staff must be tired and they are on their feet all day but they are doing a good job! I only go to Corona Bio it's the best one and I've been to three different ones
The Pomona location staff was super friendly and super professional. Of course I was nervous at my first donation, but the staff helped keep my mind at ease and patiently answered the ?million? questions I was asking. I've donated multiple times since
Been going the last two years staff is friendly, the facility is always clean. Debbie is the best, super friendly, great touch I never feel the stick of the needle!!
I'd like to thank Bio life for a good and relaxing experience. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect but your techs. put me at ease, they are very gentle and kind. Thanks again
Very professional and kind. Everyone was so helpful. It was my first time but seeing how they treated everyone you can tell they create a bond with people.
Love coming here to donate. Great way to give back and the staff are so nice and kind and sweet. Very caring place to come to especially if it's your first time and nervous! The facility is always clean and staff are always there to help. I've recommended 2 people already and more to come! Much love BioLife Corona ??
So far at this place, my experience was very well. The staff here were very knowledgeable very friendly and very kind. I definitely will keep on coming here. I know there's one in Pomona close to me because I'm from Chino Hills but I'd rather take the drive out here and experience the great wonderful time that I would have here.
I Love this location. Every one is so nice and welcoming. They are all very patient and understanding with me and my anxiety. BioLife Corona is the best! I definitely recommend this location!!
I would give this place a 0 if I could, It took me more than an hour to drive here, It said on the App I would get 100 for each donation, But when I got there I learned I would get alot less, I haven't been to biolife for almost 2 years, I had really bad experience, But I needed the money and the app said I would make 400 in 4 donations, But that was a lie, I spent $20 dollars just for gas to drive there, And the nurse said I would get Alot less than a hundred after I waited an hour , I asked How much ? And
I was there on Friday for my 177th donation & had a terrible experience with "Natalie". She was VERY rude, appeared to be irritated & was trying to rush me thru my vital signs. She shouldn't be employed there if she can't smile or be nice to us. She was in such a hurry that she didn't even put my bp cuff on correctly (it was so loose that it just came off my arm) & she didn't even take my bp & tried to use the previous persons bp as mine. I got tired of her snarky remarks so I asked her who was in charge &
the place is cleaner than most, but the staff is rude and makes some people wait longer to donate than others even if your appointment was first. Most of them are young too and seem to lack experience i?ve only been able to successfully donate twice when i was helped by older staff members, the younger ones have either hurt me really bad or just given up on the process and let me go with out finishing the donation :/
There was a man and I think his name is Moe that couldn't take my finger tip blood drop right. He was pinching up by my knuckle instead of down by where the finger prick was and had to do it twice. He really didn't seem to know what he was doing and seemed mentally out of it. He then seemed to not know what was wrong with the machine and then just said my Iron was too high and disqualified me and said I had to come back another day. Coincidentally enough, I had my PCP doctors appointment later that morning,
Good place to make fast money, new donors might take 4-5hours. Returning donora could take 2 hours, just make sure they don't poke you wrong could build a bruise an irritate you
Ive been going to this location since last November and every visit is welcoming and some days are slow and some go by quick. Overall great experience.
Great service and friendly staff. Helped with my appointment and was always smiling. It was a fast and easy process.
My first two visit were great ! third visit not so much ? my appointment was 11:50am Oct 22 , i didn't get the nurses name due to the fact that she didn't have a name tag and went to lunch after poking me 3times due to her mistakes.. i do remember how she looks tho . I've been following up on the paper i was given from the other nurses to take care of my arm but as u can see the bruises had spread and gotten much bigger .First picture is before , other 2 pics are from now .
I am happy to donate, unfortunately the wait time is ridiculously long at your facility. I noticed you are short staffed. I see 2 employees for a dozen of people standing to get their vitals checked. And, 3 other employees at the bed site with the beds all occupied. Take into consideration hiring the adequate personnel for the amount of donors. But, I can't leave out the staff is wonderful since day 1.
2nd horrible experience! Came with my family and was treated differently than them. Did paperwork, fingerprint, vain check, denied. My family hasn't even had the vain check and we are all new here. They had paperwork, fingerprint, vitals, iron test, physical, something on the laptop. Why did I get treated different? Not to mention vain check lady had to have a second opinion on my right arm and didn't even turn on the blood pressure cuff to check my left arm. I feel I was not treated fairly what so ever and
I arrived a little late and they didn't let me donate anymore so I only stayed more than one hour in traffic for nothing and spent my gas. Also, I think is very stupid that the confirmation message for the appointment does not include the address of the clinic.
I've donated here five times already and it's been great every time. The first time I tried to donate, my iron was just outside of the accepted range but I came back a few days later and was good to go! Everyone I've been helped by at this location has been polite and friendly. Reese, was amazing at my last donation and put a smile on my face and the rest of the people in her section! I'm glad I picked this location to donate in.
I recently donated plasma at BioLife and had a fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. They explained every step of the process clearly and put me at ease. The whole experience was incredibly comfortable and efficient. I left feeling proud knowing I was helping others. 5 stars isn't enough - I'd give them 10 stars if I could!
It was my first time donating at this location and Lani the RN made me feel so comfortable in the process. She is very professional, attentive, and such a sweet lady. I felt taken care of, and she gave me so much good information on how to take care of myself before the donation, and after. I had a good experience donating here and all the other staff are very professional as well. This clinic is awesome
Easy process, very oriented on my care and safety, an easy way to contribute while getting paid to do it.
I enjoy my donating session at the this location. Everyone working is very kind and informative. They will answer any questions you have and make you feel as comfortable as possible. They will listen to your concerns.
I've been a donor for quite some time never have had an issues with this facility until my last recent donation, waiting in line to iniate process was quick however when it came to seeing an employee starting my donation process I waited 30 MINUTES! Very unacceptable not sure what was going on. I was patient as I could be until I had to voice my concern, sad part is I didn't receive no acknowledgment that someone would shortly be with me.
Not only it's always short-staffed and have to wait in line for at least two hours, but I suffered severe bruising after the practitioner didn't put the needle right and was traumatized by the dramatic blood spill, so did the donors around me. Usually the process was smooth but that one time really made me hesitant to go back ever again...on top of that the ridiculous wait time. And that's my arm after icing 24/7 for 7 days!!!
I have the best experiences when Joel assists me ! He knows how to start a good conversation and his attitude is always positive?? the best part is I never feel the needle when he pokes ! He's amazing ??
To start off the receptionist Paula is cold, and unwelcoming. She booked an appoint for me when I specifically told her not too when I was late and had to reschedule. The rest of the facility is great. The nurses are helpful and welcoming. The facility is clean and well organized. Aside from donations taking sometimes up to 3 hrs depending on the wait for getting checked in and then waiting to donate it's a good location.
I have donated multiple times and each experience is great and has made me feel at ease. I love the cleanliness and precautions they take. Everyone has been kind and reassuring when I have questions!
Overall good experience. Some of the staff members aren't very friendly but majority are. Only downside is the wait time. I feel like they should offer a little higher pay for the amount of wait and time spent during a donation. I've been donating for quite some time now and every visit is about 2 hrs which is quite a long time
I love donating at this location. The staff from beginning to end is kind and attentive. They make you feel at ease especially when it's your first time donating. I will continue donating at this location.
I received excellent care from the RN staff member Lani and phlebotomist. She recommended that I request Angela and I was not disappointed. She only took one stick to find my deep veins. Thank you for your help BioLife!!
The whole staff is very friendly and explain everything to you so you understand the whole process clearly. The nurse Lani made the experience memorable! She educated on me on how to be successful in donating here and did so in a caring way that feels motherly. She even checked in with me during my following appointment. Great Experience here!
The process is easy and staff is friendly but they over schedule and wait times are absolutely out of control! Prepare for a 2-3 hour visit. Yes this varies and I have tried all different times of day and the quickest I e been done is 2 hours.
Summer is great and has helped me on multiple occasions but the lines when you walk in are out of control. Once you get in a chair everyone that has helped me has been great but sometimes it's over an hour before you can get into a chair. More employees or less appointments. These lines cause people frustration and it puts unnecessary pressure on everyone.
Encountered a Machine malfunction after waiting over an hour and a half. I was asked to wait 30 min for any possible reaction from not having cells returned & to go home. This was just to go through screening and get a bed almost 2 hours! You need to hire more staff or not have so many appointments available if you guys can not handle the amount of donors coming in and or up the compensation to make it worth the time spent here standing around waiting. Sitting area would be nice. Your phlebotomist are mood
The wait is unacceptable. Yesterday it was an hour and 20 mins before I got poked. Even longer last week. You are scheduling appointments which means I should be able to see a vitals specialist within a few minutes of my appointment and be complete within an hour and a half. Lately it has been taking 3 hours or more. This is not a one off. This has been happening for months so it isn't just " someone called out" I feel so sorry for the employees that do show up as customers are cranky for the long w
I have been donating for a couple months now and every time I came to donate there was never any complications with my donation. I love how Attentive and patient the staff can be with people who come and donate. Personally prefer coming to this donation center compared to other.
So happy to have went to this location ! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Shout out to nurse Lani . She was super nice and helpful throughout the whole process and answered all of my questions. Same with Rebeka , made sure to let all her patients feel comfortable with the process. Thank you guys!
Terrible location center lately. I've had two terrible experiences in one week. First I came in to do my annual physical and they took two hours. Had me sit in the waiting room while they forgot about me, while others that came after me were attended too first. Ended up leaving after the physical and did not donate that same day. The second time my appointment was canceled on Saturday due to their computer system being down. They didn't bother to call anyone so I found out when I arrived at the center. I
This site is Awesome- fast, bright, clean, safe, with smiling faces all around. The plasma extraction was very fast ..I was in & out in less than 60 minutes.I arrived at 11:30 for an 11:45 apptmt, left by 12:25. Machines are fast and it only took 4 cycles to extract 886 ml. My home place in PA takes more than twice as long. People are blessed to have this quality of experience in Corona.
I had an easy and fast experience here as a first time new donor. The RN, Lani, was very welcoming and helpful when explaining the process of donating plasma. Rebekah was my phlebotomist. She was friendly and checked on me frequently to see if I was doing fine. She was also gentle when taking my blood. This is a great establishment.
Great donation!.. Serayah was great at the needle insertion as always! Thank you Serayah
The staff at the Temecula center is professional, and very friendly. In regards to the facility operations, the waits are too long! Understaffed which causes for a process that should take about 1hr to take 1.5 to as much as 2+hrs. This is unacceptable considering that the center knows exactly how many people are donating on any given day since they are all "scheduled". Again, this can easily be remedied with proper scheduling of technical staff to ensure more efficiency and less waste of time for donors.Ta
Very friendly staff and easy to donate , helped and explained every step to me clearly
If you have the time for this, then by all means do it. Typically a first timer should take 2 hours, but expect 3-4 hours. A returning donor should take an hour, but expect at least 2. The only times I haven't a long wait is if I come in at 6 or 7 in the morning. I'm here now writing this review. I've been here an hour and I haven't been screened yet. The staff is great, just expect a long wait time.
My family Plasma donation, we earn up to $800 the 1st 30 days, after donating 2 times you earn $50 for each referral tell the nurse you referred or you can use me as a referral nationwide!!! So far my experience with the worker are a great team!!!
everyone was absolutely professional & kind & friendly. After 8 visits I got to meet quite a few employees and everyone was awesome. I loved Lani the manager along with Elizabeth, Rebecca, Lucy, Ginny, Deborah, Julian, Hayley, and I can't remember everyones names
All the staff make the experience amazing! Lani was awesome, my first visit, and she educated me about how to be a successful and healthy donor. Everyone there is so helpful and makes you feel cared for while also being very efficient and safe! 100/10
Extremely polite staff, clean facility, definitely follow all the best safe practices.
Everything was closed down for power outage. Very frustrating because I took time out of my day for this and drove half an hour to get to your location.
Don't donate here. A total waste of time. They are severely short staffed, and they have you wait until the last minute (which was over an hour for me) to tell you that they're not accepting anymore donors because they are short staffed. No compensation for wasting our time. Nothing. Complete waste of my time. HIRE MORE PEOPLE.
I absolutely love everyone at the corona location, however theres one technician that made me feel very uncomfortable i dont remeber her name . Shes a heavy set lady always looked at me mean and made faces when she passed by me.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
