Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the friendly, caring staff and clean facilities, with many highlighting efficient service when properly staffed. However, frequent complaints cite excessive wait times despite appointments, understaffing, and inconsistent management. Several mention issues with lost samples, payment holds, or unfair deferrals. While first-time donors often face longer waits, repeat donors appreciate improved speed. Some criticize outdated equipment or poor training in vitals checks. The consensus: positive staff interactions contrast with operational frustrations, particularly around scheduling and delays.

They're doing too much training, not enough staff to get people on the machines and often machines in a timely manner. I have been done donating for about 15 minutes and I'm still sitting on the machine. Update so I came in for my second donation and I was retaliated. Guess they blocked me and almost deferred me because they did something wrong and I complained about it. They took me into the back office. They talk with me. They took the block off of me so I can donate. I explained to the lady the manager t

Great place. All the employees are nice and there much quicker then I expected. They it takes like 3 hours for your first donation which is the longest, but even then they get you through quickly. You only have to wait if all the donation chairs are taken. I had a problem with my heart rate going about 100, because I have bad anxiety from the Military. However a very nice employee helped teach me how to keep it down. She was great and kept me calm. I went from 112 to 82 in 10 mins. Unheard of and much bette

Look, the staff is nice, the machines are okay with occasional issues. But the wait times are absurd. An appointment is a time slot, what is the point of a time slot if I don't even get stuck until 90 minutes later? It's just absolutely insane. Still props to the staff. I know they're trying their best but something with the system needs to be changed. For both donor and staffs sake.

Staff was great. Machine or their virus detection is faulty had a reactive but non reactive twice and I had gone to my personal clinic to get tested and all came back negative both times and when I brought the information to the nurse after I was told I would?ve gotten a call a week before I had to go out of my way to come into the facility to be told ?even that your negative, you are still not able to donate again? I was hurt after over a dozen donations and 2 faulty tests on their end and now I cannot don

They are often understaffed but the people they do have are great. Jean Luc is super cool to talk to and makes the experience a lot better. The new manager seems like a fantastic guy as well

Wasn't happy last time I TRIED to donate. I am an absolutely healthy person. If I had to rate myself I'd say I rate 8 out of ten. I had my blood pressure checked and it was too low. They waited ten minutes and checked again then my heart rate was extremely high. Did not make sense. Two other individuals right before me were also sent home for low blood pressure and the lady right after me was sent home as well. All four of us went to the same lady to get checked. I have no idea if there were any more issues

The guy deferred me today because my blood pressure was 102 I know anything over 140 is high blood pressure I missed out on 55$ and you guys definitely need more workers I waited in line 45 minutes just to have my vitals taken get a better system!! And the lady whose only been there maybe a month bruised my arm you should definitely train these ppl better or don't have the new employees stick you

The employee here are awesome. Always caring and efficient and know what they're doing. Adrianna, Alex and Heather have been amazing to deal with.

Came all the way across town and rushed to make it there on time. Was super busy so I waiting patiently as they were full and didn't want to be an inconvenience until after about 20 then 30 then 45 mins went by and I started to notice them closing up and so I said something like "hey, I know you're busy but I've been waiting here for some time now" only to be told that they aren't taking any more people today. Extremely mad. Then she was like "oh well you can schedule for tomorrow" and let her know that I c

First time donating at Biolife and Heather, Brenden, & Bekka made it such a quick and easy visit! Had my physical and donation done in under 2 hrs. Felt like a Queen with the ?first time donor? treatment lol. Thank you to the team! :)

Was excited to donate fulfilling my obligation to serve community. scheduled appt. Then remembered I had a cortizone injection a couple days ago. Called (4) times to see if that was issue. NO answer, had to cancel appt.

This place is ridiculous. The machines are great. Staff is nice but the wait times are awful. I have come here and waited over an hour just to get stuck. What is the point of signing up for a time frame when you are going to end up waiting anyway? Then when your machine is done, you wait forever to get unhooked. My time is worth more than this. I'll likely go somewhere else here pretty soon. Update. It took 2 hours total for a regular appointment. There was no physical today. This was just for a normal eve

I would give no stars but that's not an option got here at five been here for 2 hours before getting sticked 7:04pm literally watch seven people who got here after me get stick before me. Completely unacceptable never coming back.

Where should I start?? Was told from the start that by the time I finish doing 80 that the money would be on my card that they issue me well it wasn't it wasn't on there the next day I didn't get paid until Monday when I had to go back in and get another card ssue to me at my cost. Then do you have two phlebotomists over stick me go through my vein and eat my tendon so now every time I've been down I get a sharp pain and numbness down my arm it is a really weird place

I had a very positive experience on my 1st visit to BioLife plasma services. I'm happy to be able to donate and I appreciate the professionalism of everyone I've encountered.

The staff is friendly and caring. Always vigilant with my care. They are always willing to answer questions to ensure a healthy donation.

They need more staff! Sometimes you will stand in line for a long time and sometimes it takes a few minutes to get the needle out when donation is completed. Very friendly staff though.

Been here since 11am. An still waiting to donate. Had to do the physical. John screening was so slow. Had to wait 50 min past my appointment just to start the process. It 1pm and finally able to start to donate. This place was really good when opened. Now it the worst in the qc.

The staff is very friendly and the place is very very clean and well kept and they have newer machines so it doesn't take long at all and at the same time you get to help save lives

Unbelievable slow. I made a appointment for 4 for my first appointment they made me sit for 45mins as they took one returning customer after another that got there after me. They told me to wait and someone would come and help me. They still haven't come. Still Waiting update 50 mins. Just took the last in front of that got here at 330. Why make an appointment if they are not going to honor it.

Pay me 70 then put a 70 dollar hold on my card (no, I wasn't deferred) then say there's nothing you can do. Bullshit.

Bio life has a shortage in Saline and technically should NOT be allowing participants to participate in giving plasma knowing they don't have Saline. No, you should not donate plasma if you do not have access to saline solution because the standard practice is to replace the removed plasma with saline during the donation process, which helps maintain your blood volume and prevent complications like dizziness or lightheadedness; donating without saline could put you at risk for negative side effects. Yet the

The staff was friendly and willing to answer all questions. Very attentive and the physical was done by the most Amazing nurse Heather. Tayler was my technician. She was super sweet and the whole staff make going there a pleasure!!

All staff there are friendly, welcoming and efficient. Just need more staff do can go lil quicker. Not sure why you set an apt when you don't even get close to your time to donate..I understand very busy, I just live 40mins away so I learned what days are lil better and go on my days off :) but other then that , clean place and staff always have a smile and have your best interest Love to give back

I give on Saturdays and Wednesdays! Wednesdays are great and never have an issue. The last two Saturdays the employees have let marks to where I am being questions like I am doing something when I get my arms checked, was not happy about that. I have spoke with manager and notes where taking. I am not going to stop coming, I believe with feedback everyone can fix and change issues that are happening. I can and will continue feedback to give your company the chance to look into issues and retrain or even

Prior statement- Turning into a 2 hour wait, a lot of new people that aren't trained that good, and yeah.... It's a 2 hour process now, not just your first time. Still the cleanest, and the workers that are good are great at their jobs, but a 2 hour wait with an appointment set. Okay, that was unfair and here's why. I think it had to do with them having to do beginning of the year stuff, but to be also fair in my assessment, that doesn't take that long. It looks like they got everything back to smoother p

Only thing I like about this place is that it's super clean and it's less busy. But the machines take too long and keep turning off even when I'm pumping, which takes more time. Also the compensation is only like a hundred a week now. I'm thinking bout going back to Csl I'm not sure what happened to the bonuses. Get paid straight 40 and then 60 for the week but maybe it's because I'm not donating consistent enough.

Would not recommend with full sleeves with tattoos you will be denied octapharma plasma will accept you with full sleeve tattoos nice friendly staff

This place is constantly under staffed. When you ask the supervisor why it's taking so long, they respond that there isn't anything they can do. They don't run this place well. Corporate needs to look at the wait times.

The donating process isn't bad, it is just the waiting time. Even with an appointment, I still don't sit down until an hour after.

Everyone was very nice and took the time to ask if I had questions

I love this place! If they aren't short staffed, you don't wait in a line very long. The staff are incredible!

The phlebs and nurses are there day-in and day-out providing the best service possible, ensuring each donation is as safe and comfortable as can be. I am always greeted with a smile when I go in and there is always someone there to help if needed.

This place is a joke they treat the donors like they don't want them here, I came the first time and got deferred for going out side when I asked them to look at the cameras because I didn't they acted like I wad stupid so they gave me a come back card wasn't able to make it the next day so I I called to verify that I was able to go back the next day without having an appointment and was reassured I would be able to. When I got here not only did the supervisor call me a liar about not going outside I was

In my experience the first day took 4 hours. Each visit has gotten better and faster. The staff is very nice and welcoming. I have noticed that new donors have been getting through the process faster. I appreciate how the staff makes sure your comfortable and ready to donate.

No real issues with on floor staff...can tell that managers are poorly trained thus resulting in large employee turn over.

My working schedule always varies so the appointments don't always work in my favor. Even with them having you make an appointment you can still be there for a minimum of two hours. I had came back for a bonus they were offering and they had taken a blood sample, well they lost it and when they finally came back saying I could donate again they wouldn't reinstate my bonus. Even thought I was told they would when they lost my sample in the first place. You lose time and don't get paid well, you also don't ge

You will be here usually 2-4 hours just waiting. They have you make an appointment but literally that doesn't matter. Some of the staff are VERY inexperienced. When I went in, the girl who was hooking me up to the machine missed my vein by almost a full inch and inserted the needle in the top of my arm. She then said "Well I tried" then walked away and someone else had to finish the process. She wasn't paying attention because she was too busy complaining that she hates her job, she's leaving anyway and doe

Going back to octapharma this is crazy I been here for over an hour and yet to of been stuck. 10/10 won't be back. And the new donor 800 isn't for this center it's a rip off.

The first time I came here, it took 4 hours. Generally they are fast but tonight I had to wait over 2 hours past my appointment time, they do not pay attention to who comes in first, very frustrating! Always short staff! Clean facilities though. You can never get in and out of here,2 hr min. They also denied me because I was 5 min late when my dog had a seizure and they never respond to your inquiries, I've sent 3.

I had a great experience at this new plasma center. It was a longer process than expected but I also can understand that being a new center that will happen. Staff stayed busy and I had seen so many hard workers! The first steps to get in started with TILER at reception! He was the perfect person to greet you and very cheerful when chatting and assisting all the donors with questions!! Carlos and Kat were super nice at screening area. Adrianna was the perfect phlebotomist for my first visit, she was very th

The employees at this BioLife plasma services are kind, helpful, and caring. They are also very efficient and move things along pretty quickly - even when they are busy. There are times when you have to wait (even when you had an appointment scheduled), but the wait is not usually very long. The building is very clean, and welcoming.

I went in when it was super busy. The staff was super friendly and kept up pretty well with the influx of donors and new donors. I had a negative reaction to donating plasma. However the staff was incredible. They were fast to respond, fast to help fix the issue, and knowledgeable about why it could?ve happened. The person who stuck me did a great job. I have no bruising. He got it on the first try. Over all, I had a great visit. I will say, if you are neurodivergent and get overwhelmed by sounds and lots o

I thought by having appointments they would be a little quicker and less lines but I was wrong. I have sat waiting to be stuck for 50 minutes once and 30 minutes several times. At the place I donated at before I was usually in and out within an hour and I didn't have to make an appointment. I am finishing up the new donor commitment and will never be back. I will be going back to the other place where it doesn't take 2 hours for a regular donor. On a bright note, the staff is friendly at BiolLife.

I'm a qualified donor. However, I keep getting above normal pulse rates which are not accurate. I recommend doing manual pulse ratings in the future for second readings before sending someone home. Honestly, if it were high wouldn't you recommend going to a hospital? Very confusing. Unfortunately, because of the waiting times (1hr or more) and inconsistent rates I will no longer be returning and have cancelled all future appointments. Not worth the time or money. Rather spend it with my family.

I was having issues scheduling any visits further out because I had to have a physical. It got down to the last day of my physical. Once it was done, the days I normally would go were booked up. So I asked Nick if he could get me schedule at my time on my days for the next few weeks. He went above and beyond and got me scheduled at the time and days needed. Thanks so much, Nick! I greatly appreciate you helping me out with this. D

Noah and Carlos were very friendly and very helpful when I had questions I needed answers to and they help me solved them. Will be coming here all the time !

I was there for 2 1/2 hours finished The questionnaire they only had one nurse I told the nurse I've been there for over two hours and she said she didn't care. I told her I was gonna leave and she said that's fine. Go ahead and leave other people were coming in with the orange card And Immediately looked at by the nurse So, after all that waiting, I left very disappointed

I kept getting put in the wrong sections for my first time donation. Finally got to the physical. They said they can't poke threw a tattoo and that someone should have done a vein check on me sooner. Well my veins weren't "3 inches apart" so I'm not allowed to donate. Even though the staff said I had great veins. The staff is very nice and friendly, but the center needs work on the way they handle registration. I could've saved 2 hours of my time if someone would've checked my veins when I got there.

My experience was as follows: When I came in I felt greeted and comfortable, But then they started asking me for my social security card which I don't take out of my house this day in age... I thought about it and realized that they're just trying to make sure that I am who I say that I am. I wish they would have put something on the internet. So that when I scheduled my appointment I would have known to bring these two things. We got around it. Then the next lady wanted me to write my social security numbe

I get bruises after every donation now. The last 4 times in a row and not small bruises either. Not worth it. There are maybe 3 people that care and seem to be knowledgeable. If you don't get one of them good luck. Also if they miss the vein and bruise up they've just told me ?it happens?, you get deferred next time due to bruising and don't even get a come back card. ?? I'll keep my veins intact. They also never respond to inquiry or even bother calling back even when medically related.

I don't know what is going on with management. But I see less smiles on employees and heard some quit. Other than that, clean and professional needle stickers. Worthwhile to donate!

This place sets you up for failure. Appointments are booked a week out sometimes so if you miss yours, your practically screwed. Donor fees are reset on monday so if your first donation was Sunday and your 2nd tuesday its considered your first and get the first donar fee. Feels like a scam when u combine that with the appointment only thing would not recommend this place.

Great staff. Great service. Great fees. ThanX BioLife!

It's going on what? 4 days and I kept leaving messages on regards to donating again and no one answered the phone nor did they call me back. This place can't be too busy that you can't respond back within a week time

Y'all were great from the moment I walked thru the door to spending some minutes going thru the onboarding work with Rockin Robin to Nurse Katy and her sidekick to Brittany and her perfect stick!! The facility was clean and organized; had a very welcoming feeling!! Thank you all!!

Great place. Friendly staff. Make you feel comfortable. Never hurts. In and out in an hour. Clean facility.

I used to donate at other plasma donation facilities. I donated for about six years, consistently, without issue. Then I stopped donating for a long time. Decided to try and start back up with biolife and ever since the very first day, I've had multiple encounters with employees telling I'll get deferred for things completely out of my control. The staff has been repeatedly discouraging. Constant issues keep coming up. They'll put new donors in front of people waiting in line while the staff stands around c

I love coming here. The staff is great. The money is a bonus but knowing my plasma will help somebody in need is heart warming. I really love Jada every time i go 9/10 shes the one who pokes me. Shes super nice and makes sure she gets it on the first try. Ive only had 2 ppl stick me wrong and the amazing Brittney fixed it for them. Theres one other person who has stuck me but i forgot his name but overall. The process is fast and easy.

Not really a fan. I don't understand why they make you schedule for donations. Coming from octapharma where we didn't have to it's almost busier in here. They say that they have this so it's more organized. Bro it's literally worse. Everyone can schedule within 10 min of each other. Makes no sense.

From initial walk-in until I was finished the staff were very very helpful and friendly and had very high spirits making my donation so comfortable......thanks staff ??

Very slow going. Showed up to my donation/physical. Went threw everything. At nurse I was told I had to wait till they got a paper back from my doctor for my sleep apnea. I understood and said OK. Few days later on a Tuesday my doctors office called to let me know they sent back the form completed. Wednesday I called Biolife and they verified they received it but the physician was only there Friday and Saturday to review items that I would get a call back. I didn't so the next week I called and the n

this place is not what you would expect for a new plasma facility. they are very rude and unprofessional and they intentionally take their time. what usually takes an hour to donate at most places, takes twice the amount of time here. they need better management.

It is not $900 within the first 9 times. It is not $100 the first times you go. As soon as you walk in they have a sign posted $40 the 1rst time $120 the first week. Pretty sure it drops after that. They tell you only if you have a promotion code. I went a second time this time with a promo code talking about they couldn't get me into later today when I have something going on the days off after that. They know the promo is only until the Nov 5th seriously it's like they want to under pay you. I wil

The thing I don't like is that the people that screen the donors, they be talking to much, talking about stuff that has nothing to do with BioLife, especially Sandy, Chelsea and Robin and Noah, they talk damn much . Sometimes it takes more time to get screened than it does to donate. Chyann is a screw up to. And you can't choose who you want sticking you anymore, they changed that. You can only choose someone from the bay that your in

The staff was nice, but the whole thing is slow. I went twice but im going to wait to go back until they get the rest of their machines, even with a scheduled appointment you spend 2-3hrs there between waiting for a table and donation. Really sucks, ive been waiting for this facility to open for a year.

They messed up my paperwork, told me I could pick up where we left off after being deferred. I was pleasant about it, but upon my return I was told I have to start the whole 3 hr process from the beginning. After 2? hrs of sitting and waiting the first time around...

This place doesn't notify you when you're deferred until a later date because you had issues donating the first time and they still allow you to make an appointment and go all the way to their facility to tell you you can't donate until a later date!!!!! It's very unprofessional especially when you drove in the snow and ice to get there!!!!!

Great experience all around ! Very fast and efficient .

Waste of time. They seem to deny for any reason they feel like, but don't bother to tell you until you've been sitting waiting on them for over an hour

show up very early, they will wait to speak with you for 12 mins, then tell you anything more than 10 mins requires a re-schedule

THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES!!!! I've called around 30 times in the span 2 hours. Left voicemails and no call back. This defiantly isn't the first time I've tried to call and no answer either. Horrible management.

They are always very friendly and the machines they use are very fast. Even if there is a wait, it is worth it to have so much better of an experience than you get with other centers.

Was a first time donor at BioLife, but I've donated at CSL Plasma before! I went in and it took three hours almost 4 to complete everything!!! Wait was too long and the process was so unprofessional! Now for the bad part, if that was a bad enough! When I finally hit the beds for donations, it took a while before I was even poked and when I did get poked?the lady poked it and let go of the tube, allowing my blood to get all over my arm, leg, seat and my shorts! I'm not talking about a small amount but enough

They would not allow me to donate because of tattoos even though other plasma centers have stuck those same arms. I would give 0 stars if I could. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Make an appointment? Donating is something I do in my spare time. If I can't come in when I actually HAVE the time, then I'll just keep going to places like csl where I can come in at my convenience.

Even with a appointment, it's still super slow, looked like a lot of people hiding in the back, maybe they need to work on customer service instead of breaking balls about a social security card I've had since I'm 14 and now 54 , it's,been 45 minutes and I've only seen one card pulled out of 4 for new clients, but did see a walk in move to the front of the line ahead of everyone else

For their first day opening, I'm impressed! I had a great experience and the people were FRIENDLY. They were incredibly nice, helpful, and I imagine on a day that's not their grand opening it will be a bit faster.

The employees are awesome!!! Always treated with caring and respect. Fun people. Always clea n and organized. They make donating so easy.

Need to properly train their employees, one taking vitals said all 3 in a row had high pulse. All were sent home, she was not putting the cuff on the right way! It literally tells you on the cuff!

I know they are a new location gave them a couple try?s but you make an appointment and you won't get on the table for an hour after your appointment time and then 40 mins for your donation. Takes typically 3 hours to finish the whole process.

I've enjoyed donating at bio life! Fast friendly service. Good phlebotomist! The only thing I could recommend is that they could be a little bit quicker about dc?ing donors. That always seems to be a wait. Other than that great service!

Robin, Jasmine, and Stephanie were wonderful. They were pleasant, professional and efficient. They made my experience enjoyable.

Staff is friendly and the environment is clean. Love that you have to schedule your appt's so it's not over crowded at any given time.

The past three times I've been eligible to donate they've told me I have to take a speed test now today I'm being told oh the speed test if they come in too late it's not valid so you'd have to take another one so you guys want me to give you my blood essentially for a third time, and I still don't know what the issue is regardless, three different times like today would?ve been the third time of them drawing my blood for no reason Like this is the weirdest thing I've ever like dealt with like how like now

First-time donor at Biolife I've been donating plasma for about 10 years, and so far, this is the best center I've donated at. the staff were very friendly, the center is clean, and those Aurora Machines are FAST! took 46 minutes from stick to saline, unlike the Nexsys Pcs 2 machines at other plasma centers, which took an hour and a half. (According to staff, when you're really hydrated, it can take about 20-30 minutes. my only complaint is that it's by appointment ONLY, and the center tends to be overbooke

Great people. Under staffed. I noted they all are a bit. un happy and want to.go home

Nice people and nice facility. I feel like they really appreciate their donors. Especially Noah at the front as he always greets me with a smile and a "good to see you again.".
