Reviews Summary

Reviews are mixed, with many praising friendly, professional staff and efficient service, particularly noting skilled technicians and a welcoming atmosphere. However, negative feedback highlights long wait times, unprofessional behavior among employees, inconsistent care, and poor management. Some donors report rude interactions, disorganization, and delays in payment or service. While some had excellent experiences with minimal pain and thorough care, others faced frustration due to lack of urgency, inadequate staffing, and communication issues. Cleanliness and professionalism are noted positively, but operational inefficiencies and staff attitude problems detract from the overall experience.

My Experience at BioLife ? A Tribute to Terrance From my very first day at BioLife, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. But in every great place, there's always someone who stands out?an angel in disguise?and for me, that person is Terrance. Terrance?s care goes far beyond providing a service. He is genuinely invested in each person?s comfort, well-being, and overall experience. As someone who observes people closely, I've witnessed how he supports his colleagues?not just by helping them

I highly recommend Biolife. Mrs Jenny is an amazing phlebotomist. You hardly fill the needle when it goes in your arm. The staff are all friendly and courteous. If you need anything, they always accommodate you. All in all, it's an amazing place to donate your plasma, and the pay is very good as well.

The people who work here are professional, kind, and efficient. They have a high volume of people coming in and out and they are able to make sure everyone is taken care of and has their questions answered. Not a single person I interacted with was rude or uncomfortable. I felt very taken care of, even when I passed out!! They didn't make me feel bad or silly, they checked my vitals multiple times, made sure they got my temperature back down, and made sure I had fluids and sugars. I would recommend this pla

Great experience great people thanks Trish and great to see you again working hard Awesome job ! The pigtails were really cute too Thank you Ellie You were excellent they're making me feel comfortable the hospitality was great all around great job ladies ????????

It was my first time donating and I had a wonderful experience. Orion and Jenna were beyond helpful and make me feel comfortable. The process was smooth and I felt safe the entire time. I highly recommend coming here!!!

Today was my FIRST of many visits to come! The entire process, from walking in through the door and exiting, took exactly 2 hours and three minutes. And that's been a new donor! Incredibly fast all the way around. Atmosphere: clean. Staff: attentive. Restrooms: satisfactory. Friendliness: on point. Orion, handy with the needle, slid that bad boy through the dermal layer of skin like it was white bread. Mmmph! No pain at all ?? I plan on returning!

I love this center the supervisor Terrance is absolutely great and gets things done, is always willing to help someone even they need it, another outstanding person is Tanisha, with her wonderful personality and kindness to people. I come to donate just to see these 2 wonderful people. I think if they left I would probably follow them wherever they go.

A Heartfelt Tribute to the Team at BioLife Plasma Services ? Daytona Beach I truly love coming to BioLife Plasma Services in Daytona Beach. It's not just a donation center?it has become a place where I no longer feel like just a donor. I feel like part of a family. This facility is always exceptionally clean, and from the moment you walk in, the staff welcomes you with a warm smile. No matter which area you're donating in?the Blue area, the Green, or the Violet?the environment is filled with professionali

I asked Brie and the other manager there at the Daytona facility, if I could extend my promotion days one week to make up for a couple appointments missed because they missed my veins the last two times causing extreme bruises, and they refused making up excuses so they wouldn't have to do any work. Very lazy management. Also, they missed my vein three times on the right arm that day, had to keep restarting the machine and missed my left arm twice. They should not have attempted that many times. They ne

I love this place. The donation process is quick and easy. Andy Shelly Brandon and a few others are amazing. The front ladies are great at their job but they should have an extra couple of people on cause they get busy. The only thing I don't like is the pay fluctuates, one week is higher then the next.

T?nisha is the best!!! I've been donating for almost two years now and she is by far the most gentle with the needle. I didn't feel A thing. The entire team is all around fun and high energy.

I had an appt at 3:45pm. I was checked in at the reception desk and then Haili got my information and checked my vitals. Afterwards, I answered questions on the computer. Unfortunately, a long waiting time but this place just opened and everyone did their best. The place is very clean as well. Shelly did my physical exam. She is very kind and answered all my questions. A wonderful personality! I was starting to donate. However, after 5-10 minutes, I did not feel good and had to stop. I want to give a specia

I have donated plasma a lot at different companies, but Biolife was the most wonderful. Their staff are so kind and attentive. I especially want to shout out Destiny, Darlene, and Rebecca, for the smoothest, most comfortable donating experience I've ever had. The rest of the staff has been super great, too.

Won't be back. Last time I went?.i waited an hour?..got called back and was hooked up after other people that had came after I did. Which is total crap. I walked out and didn't donate because of that. If I was the only person waiting and then had people come WELL after I did??.why are they getting hooked up to the donation machine before I am? Honestly felt discriminated against and this wasn't the first time either. The staff for the most part is rude. Super short. Non engaging, lack customer service skil

BioLife Plasma Services was a great experience! It was my first time and all the ladies and men were great! Front desk, my nurse Regina, Jasmine who did the plasma donation were so great! Caring, informative and pleasant! Look forward to several more visits! It took me 3 hrs for my first time! Awesome!

My last donation on Friday was a great success. I was lucky to have the privilege to be serviced by phlebotomist Rebecca C. She stuck me perfectly where I did not feel even a pinch. She checked on my vitals during my donation process. And she also grabbed my arm the way that I like it, high top and low bottom with a secure middle. Very great experience, professional and sterile environment. She's also quite the looker if I may add ??! Overall great performance and experience! Definitely and highly recommend

I have had mixed experiences with BioLife but if Brie is checking me in there is always an issue. Usually the employees are nice and respectful but some of them shouldn't be working with the public. They have no compassion or empathy. Recently I have had 3 bad experiences in a row starting with the location in Casselberry. The center in Casselberry told me my protein was too low and I couldn't donate, they told me I would need to give them sample and send it away before I could donate again. Supplied the s

Terrance is a great worker and very professional. I always feel welcomed when I come to donate. He has a great personality and deserves a raise. I appreciate the services I receive makes me proud to Donate.

Terrence is an amazing manager with great people skills and should really receive promotion. Makes returning to the facility worth the wait. The way he commands the floor is CEO like. Thank you 10 stars of I could

It took 2.5 hours to get new registration down. Nurse Rose was rude and disrespectful. She first asked if I speak English. Then she gave a beef Jerky and pointed it said eat it now, eat it now. She has a very smoky voice. She didn't talk to me face to face while she was on computer. Her voice was mumbling and unclear. I had a hard time to understand. Due to my age, she asked me to get my medical history from my doctor. She offended using you and you. There was misunderstanding and miscommunication, my docto

I think today was my 20th donation. Very impressed with the facility and especially the staff. At this point, I think I have interacted with most of them and they are always professional and friendly. I. can't list them all, but today I saw Chantel, Tanisha and Alexis. They are superstars! They really care about the donors and they always take good care of me!

Overall place is ok employees are beyond respectful and nice easy login and easy booking schedules but the problem I have is I've had SEVERAL Delayed payments after donating couldn't even feed myself afterwards because of their compensation delays besides that co workers are not coordinated they sit a lot of people down in the donating chairs and only have like one person taking care of 6 and after you're done takes that same employee another lifetime to unneedle you wrap you up and send you on your way and

Team did very well systems set up and preppedwell time of course for new donors takes a little bit longer but that's understandable. But rest of process went well in and out in about forty minutes after Starting donation team members very kind

My experience with bioplasma has been up and down , however if there's one thing that stays consistent is one of there employees named Terrance. Without Terrance I think that place would fall apart. Just my opinion.

I was told that my iron levels were too low. My iron is never low, and it's never been a problem. My diet didn't change in the past week to affect that, lol. I think they just didn't want to work because they were about to close. I'm not going back. The person who checked me seemed sketchy anyway. If you don't care about the money part of donating, go elsewhere, seriously. If you do go here, try to get someone who cares to help you. Most of them will shove that needle in your arm with no care at all. I've s

First time I went I was there for 4.5 hours. Two times in a row after that, was there for 3hours. Didn't start donation process until 90-120mins after my appt time, almost passed out from having to wait so long after eating/drinking. Staff is very friendly, just need more workers.

Terrence is a great manager he gets stuff done immediately. Rebecca is sweet and respectful also adorable. Orion a chill person and also is respectful and never gave me a problem

The staff is always very friendly. They always try their best to make you comfortable during the donation process. Orion, Brandon and the other phlebotomists are always ensuring their donors are taken care of.

Yesterday was my first visit to a BioLife location, however, I am not new to the donation process. I can not say enough good things! Everyone was welcoming, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. This is by far the best location I have ever had the pleasure to donate at and I look forward to many future visits!

I really tried to learn to love this place. I initially started donating back in June 2024 as a new donor. Waited about 5 hours but gave grace because I'm new and it's a new location. Came back 3 months later as a regular donor and waited 3 hours. Same in December. Gave it one last chance today and same thing. Was very frustrating seeing people who got here after me leave first with other phlebotomists. Been donating almost every week at other locations and will definitely say this location is a no go unles

If you want a funny and experienced staff this is the place. Destiny and Brandon are some of the best people I have met. Both can shove a needle in you and feel no pain i highly recommend them if you visit.

I have donated plasma many times... They said that my tattoos were too close to my veins... Seems ridiculous to me. Also understand this staff is highly unprofessional... I've heard the words "I don't care" between employees way too many times for a medical center. I wouldn't be surprised if you can contract something from this place

Great group of employees here at this location. Especially Lex who is a 10/10 stick and always goes out her way to make sure I'm comfortable. Love y'all ??

Great employees, especially Regina..she made me feel so comfortable and the young lady doing my vitals

Terrance is great always friendly and making people laugh. Same with everyone here they are nice and well trained to make sure all goes smoothly while you donate.

All I can say is, the tech that most impressed me and helped me and had the most empathy was Andrew at the Nova and Beville location in Daytona Beach Florida Andrew thank you for all your help! Feeling comfortable and taking care with the scary needles LOL

Okay. So I can't lie and say 5 stars. I value my reputation as a review person. Yes BioLife is a high volume center and is busy. However. The employees here are great. There are good days and bad days for everyone but Marley is always my champion. As far as technicians go.. she's consistent, professional and single handledly 5 stars. I love how after my first visit I was welcomed like family and still treated professionally. So yes.. this is an experience. But if you know what you are signing up for and you

Tanisha was very kind and did great job with her presence of greeting me and making sure I was comfortable

They're rude. They lied took an all the information and still got turned away stating. I need to provide more for them even though I brought the necessary documentation required on the website, so false and flight information and day also falsified the apparel of what they can do for you. I wouldn't even check if I you're gonna have to start.

Thank you to Moose for your professionalism and support with my questions and concerns! Made my first visit great!

Very clean, organized and to the book. Attendants are kind and perform painless phlebotomy when inserting the eidermal needle. Thumbs up to all at BioLife!!

Horrible experience, I've been donating for the past 25 years at grisfold plasma center, California. And, this center said I can't use a commercial address for donation, and they will not allow any donation to any homeless people. Only people that have million dollar residential homes can donate...

Ive been coming to BioLife for some time now & met Terrence love his personal & his authority figure gives leader lol great communicator & funny ass

My first appointment was great. I expected it to take a long time so that didn't bother me. I ate a full meal before I went and I drank plenty of water. When I was finally hooked up to the machine I had a supervisor and a trainee hooking me up and overseeing me. I had no issues and no pain, so I scheduled another appointment. My second appointment took just as long as my initial appointment from the time I checked in, to the time I was sat in the chair. I had a different employee this time and she couldn't

Best staff ever!!! I love nurse Nikki!!! Andrew,Jenna, Rebecca, and destiny!!! Great the ladies that checked us in awesome!!!! Great customer service care I love the whole team!!! ??

This place is so slow it's sad they need to hire people that are not lazy. im tired of watching them just talk while I'm waiting. I had a tech that was swabbing my are before sticking me and never looked down at what he was doing he wasn't even swabbing the right spot smh ??. Worst plasma center i have even been to. Im done with bio life they suck their employees don't know how to do their job. Some of the worst technicians I have ever dealt with lazy morons

I enjoy going to the biolife plasma donation center in Daytona Beach on Nova road, the cleanliness and professionalism surpasses another center, with Terrence,Andrew,Rebecca, destiny are my favorite go to,they make the experience enjoyable and worth returning...

Nurses are good and professional BUT some not all Technicians especially the Head Technicians have bad attitudes, rude and unprofessional. They don't treat everyone the same. Even though Head Technicians were than a few feet from me wiping down beds, the alarm went off at least 7 times alerting the Donation is complete, they took six minutes to take the needle out of my arm and prior to inserting needing the Technician the didn't let alcohol dry which causes burning when needle is inserted. I donated severa

Everyone of your employees are awesome and very professional. Destiny is an amazing person. Very polite and knowledgeable. And a very excellent stick. The fastest time my whole donation took was 30 minutes. She knows her job well.

Nikki was amazing and so was Rebecca at first ur nervous but not with them the smiles and making u feel comfortable was awesome

Go somewhere else. Wow... The woman I dealt with was the surliest, most arrogant and rude woman I can remember encountering in recent memory. She was so rude that I could literally feel my blood pressure and pulse going up while answering her questions and obeying her demands that she was barking at me. Maybe she doesn't like white men? No one there, or the website can give you any idea what they will compensate you for your time and aggravation either, until they waste an hour or two of it. It's like they

They offer $100 referral bonus to get you in the door We will be coming back and referring people.

The facility is nice and everything is new, people seem pleasant and professional, my only problem is every single visit has been 2 to 3 hours long occasionally 4 hours on just a regular visit. It's about an hour and a half usually at kedplasma. Im not sure I'll come back after this next week. They have "appointment only" visits but you end up just waiting at the back of the line anyways. I've fallen asleep just waiting, that's never happened to me while donating. Even if they bring you to a donation chair

Everyone working was so kind, happy, and calm! I was there when an audit was being performed and no one seemed nervous about it which made me feel very comfortable. It was the easiest donation I've ever had (I have done blood and platelets before - I've had a painful needle insertions, nearly passed out, and got a bruise every time. Here, I got none of that!) The area isn't bad, so even as a single young woman, I felt comfortable coming alone.

Great experience donating here with Orion and Rebecca. Thanks, will always keep coming back as long as they're both here.

My first time being a donor I didn't have a good experience but I decided to go back and had Destiny who was so patient and understanding. I could barely feel her stick me when she did plus she's very experienced. She made me feel more at ease and comfortable.

Everyone is always friendly and knowledgeable. There are times when I'm done donating and I would have to wait a little longer than usual to leave. Sometimes there is too much talking amongst the employees instead of donor care. Probably need more employees at this location for it to function smoothly and more efficiently.

My patience for this place is at its limit. The employees should be tested for drugs regularly.

Great new location. They're closed on Sunday and Monday. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The first visit will take half a day. They are so busy at times it is hard for the staff to keep up. Make sure you make an appointment before going. Tuesday seems to be the busiest. Drink plenty of water before you go.

All staff at this location are friendly, professional, and always provide great service and support. Love the Port Orange BioLife crew!

Destiny was amazing and I loved the place and how nice she was and all the employees for that fact. It was super simple and recommend everyone doing it that is able too. You're doing a great thing and get paid for it?. A total win win!

Peak quality customer service. Everyone was nice and incredibly patient. Makes you feel proud to be a donor.

They pay new donors a bonus but it's a bait and switch. On my 3rd donation I was deffered because the computer showed I had loss of red blood cells which is untrue. I completed my donation which was followed up by saline. I was told there was a glitch in the computer system and IT was working on it. I was also told I was not the only one this happened to. I was told someone would be in touch with me. 2 weeks, 3 emails and 7 phone calls later someone finally called me back and said there is no proof I got al

This place is actually horrible. You make an appointment, the appointment time doesn't matter. My appointment was at 9:15, it's 10:27 and I'm still not hooked up. I've also been sitting in the chair to be hooked up for 30 minutes while one person in our bay is hooking up machines, the girls are chatting by the lab. I had to leave today. First time I came last week, an employee named Lex called over donors. I've never been to a BioLife. Not sure how their processes work. She started yelling for a donor bec

Terrance is always so kind and happy. I enjoy my visits. Thank u all for saving lives

Honestly the fastest plasma donation place I have been to. The only problem I would say is the disorganization when waiting. Staff told several of us to move out of the chairs to other chairs which resulted in some of us being skipped over. When I voiced this none of the staff seemed to care or take charge. Up until today I would've given this place a 4 star.

I scheduled an appointment for today and I referred my friend so we went up to the new Daytona Beach location together. We had our appointments scheduled for 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM. When we arrived we were told by the receptionist that we needed to eat first which we were never informed this before making an appointment and we also were not informed that we needed to bring a social security card. However she told us we could leave and eat and come back and get in to donate. So we left which is pushed back ou

Always great service by the Phlebotomists. Jenna helped me today and was wonderful

My first experience here and I must say they are very clean and professional. You must have an appointment so do that first but they are nice. They gave new donors a snack bag and water. Destiny explained the whole ?? experience down to the littlest detail. On top of that she kept checking up on me. Andrew disconnected me and they have new donors wait 15mins after donation so you don't faint etc. Overall I was very happy with the experience and I would recommend this place.

Laura usually screens me and she is the absolute best so I didn't want to leave her out. Jasmine however, screened me today and she was awesome as well. She's a very pleasant conversationalist and handled the process with extreme care. I've only been going here for a couple of weeks but I already love it here.

The experience as a whole, all the people(especially Nicky), and the facility, were and was phenomenal, exceeded all expectations.

First I would like to say I donate to Red Cross all the time, so I thought why not get paid for it. So I tried Biolife and I was severely DISAPPOINTED by the process. It took 20mins just to get to the front desk to check in. The lady was definitely not in a hurry. I did see several managers standing around doing nothing while there was a long line and not one of them tried to help. Biggest pet peeve is when a manager thinks they're too important to help. It seem to take about 5 mins per person to check in a

over all, most of the staff were professionals, Silver was very sweet and kind when she did my vitals, the staff up front were very professional. the only problem really was the person who did my physical, I felt like I had committed a felony when she did my physical, she snapped at me about my back, she snapped at me about my something that was on my feet, WHY DO YOU NOT KNOW ABOUT IT she would yelled, "YOU DONT TALK TO PEOPLE LIKE THAT, she needs a lesson in bedside manners, she did get a little bit nice

First time donating plasma and everything went well. Nurse Shelly was very friendly, super helpful, and a great speller! Brandon explained everything and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I already signed up for my return visit. It does get a little cold while your donating so come prepared.

Yes the staff is nice but it is a business and it's not about the quantity of employees it's the quality and when you have 7 workers on the donor floor and donors are still waiting 2 hours to get poked when you opened an hour ago is unacceptable. The employees are rude to each other, have sup meetings on the floor about breaks, that should be discussed before the shift. Talking to each other should not be the priority, there is no sense of urgency, respect or care for the donors time. You make an appointme

Leah is fantastic! Very good at her occupation. Made me feel very comfortable and her stick was quick and accurate I didn't feel a thing. The staff is very professional ,courteous ,and friendly. Excellent job keep up the good work

This was going to be my very first time doing this and boy was it an absolute horrible first impression I walked out. I'll try to make this quick never in my life have I ever had to leave a review which goes to show you. First me and my wife made an appointment for 11:15 was never informed that I had to eat a full meal in the morning a female receptionist ask when I ate a full meal I said last night she wrote it down took my documents and told me to sit. My wife forgot her social card in other wallet they g

Alyssa and Destiny were amazing. The entire staff is from t he front desk to the ones hooking me up were so nice and professional. This is their first week and they are doing good for that! Will be returning to do my donations.

Long review but PLEASE read! Just finished my new donor visits and I will not be back. I donated at CSL for over two years, so I had some idea about the process and never had any problems. Never used both arms at a donation, never bruised and never deferred for 8 weeks. I was excited about making appointments instead of waiting in line, but one visit I sat on the donor bed for 55 minutes before I was stuck ( employee went to lunch and three of us were left waiting until she returned). Once I was stuck and t

BioLife is great and they paid close attention to everyone donating and the nurses are great especially Regina she is great

The staff was very nice and the facility was clean. It was very busy when I arrived and my appointment took longer than the website said it would but I went in expecting that so it was no big deal. I appreciate what bio life is doing to help people. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of that.

The website doesn't work correctly and the phones don't work correctly. When you call you hear some woman's voicemail before you get to the bioplasma options. The wait is entirely too long, there are no chairs, and the employees need more training. I don't know where all these positive reviews are coming from because have been a few times hoping things would change because they are new but it's the same thing every time and I haven't had these unpleasant experiences at other donation places.

Andrew was awesome.Efficient did not even feel the needle going in.If you come here, ask for him so far is the best one.I've had tell me and he's friendly and he was really cool

Terrance is awesome he's very helpful and knowledgeable he's always polite and ready to be of service

Marley, Monesha, Gabby, and Terrence are the BEST! Can not hype this center up enough. World of a difference in attitude, cleanliness, and professionalism compared to KED. My only complaint is the nurse they brought over from KED(everyone knows the one I'm talking about without using her name, and that should speak volumes). She is extremely rude and unprofessional, and the way she talks to donors is disgusting. If they got rid of her, this place would truly be 10/10! :)

Leanne was my ?intake? person and Regina was my nurse. Both very amazing woman; professional and kind. Both took great care of me and this location is beautiful, organized and friendly.

I came in today for my appointment with my daughter, whom was there before waiting in the waiting room. After I finished answering the questionnaires. I was told infront of everybody by a large white lady with black hair that she hisas the manager and my daughter is not allowed. I expressed how she was here before and wasn't an issue , she began to raise her voice and say it's the policy. There are no signs that way teenagers are not allowed. I go to help people who need plasma. After taking my daughter

The center is very organized & Nurse Shelly & Technician Gabbi really made my experience 5 STARS! Waiting to be called to actually donate is longer than expected but I'm assuming once staffed that will change. Thanks Biolife Daytona Beach for helping a new donor find my new center
