I can't say enough great things about Dena at BioLife Plasma Center. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel seen, respected, and genuinely cared for. Her professionalism is unmatched, her energy is uplifting, and she brings a warmth to the experience that turns what could be a routine visit into something memorable. Dena is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive ? she explains everything clearly, answers questions with patience, and makes you feel completely at ease. She treats donors with a level o
My experience has been incredible! The staff has been great. The Indian nurse (I apologize but forgot her name) was amazing and all of the stickers (my first was Victoria who was great and Takiyah was great too). And of course the money has been great even hitting my card before I get to my car! And plasma is always needed so we are saving lives too! Win win situation!
Their staff spoke very softly while also wearing masks, leaving both parties frustrated at miscommunications. I understand health and safety concerns but I do not understand a staff member rolling their eyes at me for asking them to repeat themselves. Especially as a first time donator, I was hoping to feel safe and informed. Instead, I felt worried that I didn't know everything that was happening out of fear that a staff member would be condescending towards me. Everyone was extremely unhelpful during the
My experience here with the staff was great. They made me feel welcomed and, may sure I felt safe as they worked with me. The staff is great Segal is a great leader and, the staff performance shows.
Sometimes this location is great?there is minimal wait (usually weekend mornings). However, most of the time, the wait is extremely excessive. I have left many times after vitals due to wait times. Once I am there over an hour and still have not been placed in a section, I leave without donating. The staff is friendly. It's just the atrocious wait times more often than not that limits my donations and my chance of referrals to BioLife. If they could somehow address staffing issues/wait times/efficiency, I w
This place is an absolute joke. Appointment times mean absolutely nothing! I went in as a first time donor, and waited an hour and a half? Nothing. So many people they are waiting to be seen, it was just awful. They could have at least had plenty of chairs for people to sit in. Very poorly ran.
Wish I could give 0 stars, has an appointment for 345, by 530 I still wasn't called. When I asked I was told that there was only one nurse, and while waiting I watched 6 people walk in and see the nurse. The lobby was full of people waiting to be called and the people at the front desk didn't show any remorse or sense of urgency. This place needs training on how to meet appointment times. What's the point of an appointment if I have to be there for hours to just do the physical aspect. I worked a part time
Really packed last week. Took two hours and was only about the tenth person in line when I arrived. There seemed to be many new donors that made the wait longer. Appointment time definitely did not help. Staffing seemed ok but there is always one desk not being used.
Had an appointment for 12:30 as a new donor and arrived at 12:15. Went back and did vitals and the questionnaire after about half an hour. Been waiting another two and a half hours and STILL haven't been called back for the physical exam. I've now been here over three hours and haven't even donated yet. Absolutely, completely, and utterly ridiculous!! Update: I finally went up to the front counter and asked how much longer I'd have to wait. She asked my name and I told her. She then went and found my card
Plasma center with a social conscious awareness! Other than that, they generally pay well compared to others. The rainbow stuff took me aback but still a great company to do business with.
These workers who take the plasma are sorry and lazy as hell. My thing been beeping saying no flow for 30 min ans it will go for a few seconds and say no flow for 20 min ans she won't fix it. I told her to switch arms and she won't listen bc I had Thus issue every time in past I just forgot what arm and I told her that. Nows she just returning my blood instead of switching needle to my left arm. I got to 565 in an hour. These ppl could get full plasma but their employees are too busy on phone with their man
This is the best Biolife facility. I've always had a great experience with them when donating plasma. Sometimes it can get crowded depending on what time you sign up, but usually any time slots before noon, you're done within an hour and half to 2hrs. The people are nice and know how to stick you, unlike other Biolife facilities. I live very far away from this facility, so the fact that I prefer coming here as opposed to the other facilities says a lot.
If I could give zero stars I would. Routinely 1-2 hour wait to donate even if you have an appointment. Employees move at a glacial pace. They never have enough technicians to hook people up to the machines. Less than half the machines ever in use. They have about 50 machines. Currently there are about 12 people hooked up to donate. Over 20 wait in line for their turn, with over hour wait. What's wrong with Bioplasma management?
Never been able to donate here because someone incompetent wrote PTSD in my file rather than PCOS. It's always taken hours to get to the physical just to be denied. It isn't OK for people to be impacted by everyone else's inability to do their jobs. It's everywhere you go. What do people get paid for? The wait is exceptionally long. Employees do not treat us as if we have other priorities, the rudeness/attitudes, all of it. This place is the MOST for the LEAST. Year after year, I've given another chance.
The staff here is absolutely AMAZING. They move quick and have great attitudes. Even when understaffed they do their best! I've been coming here for some time now and I unfortunately can see things starting to slip. Management is clearly having a hard time keeping employees and its causing EXTREMELY LONG LINES. They really need to work on getting more people because it didn't use to be like this I use to be able to be in and out in under two hours now it can take me two hours just to my vitals checked. I r
Saygel is the best nurse hands down . she was so sufficient and made me feel real comfortable donating. She let me know everything I need to know so there's no surprises . Really the best experience I had with any plasma center. The facility is sooooo clean .Monae did my intake was fast and really nice all in all people will say it takes along time but they don't just make sure u drink and eat and the line will move .
Very long wait times even with appointments. Also staff was remarkably unprofessional. The woman doing my vitals was talking to someone the whole time on her headphones and was cursing and complaining about work. Once I finally got back it seemed to be run by teenagers. They were talking with each other joking not paying attention at all to what they were doing. Just awful. Genuinely hard to believe
Worst experience yet. Too many issues to post but here's a few. Employees who treat you like you're bothering them by just being there, employees who don't speakup so you have to keep asking 'what?" (my hearing is fine) very slow computers to check in, line of 15 people with 1 person doing check-in/testing, no arm check, after taking a seat out on the floor, waited for the Aqua person and then she started hooking up 2 people that sat down about 10 minutes after me - I spoke up after the first one and she g
Poorest and worst center for plasma donors. Poorest floor management both screening and donations. No water in sink, at-least for past 3 weeks since i started donating here. Poorest way for questionnaires. You have to schedule appointment but never appointment were kept by biolife people. Poorest compensation and receive coupons that doesn't apply. Overall feeling terrible ?????? it's 9:40 am and still big queue. Any guesses what time i will get my turn? Not before 12:15 and that too if i am lucky ?.poorest
This place gave creeping vibe like a correction facility or something . Dirty floors and barrooms, absolutely rude inattentive staff, bloody packaging all over trashcans. Came the first time, went through physical where nurse who barely speak English didn't bother to say Hi or thank you, or please, nor anyone else there. I feel like I awe them money or something that I'm treated like that. Came back second time, waited for 20 min before I walked out (appointment made online and with strict rules not to late
Extremely long wait times. Plan on at least an hour of wait times before they even start taking your plasma. They regularly miss my vein and have to reinsert the needle in my other arm. The compensation is barely worth the time.
I'd like to first say that this is one of the best donation centers. I'd like to show my appreciation to Employee Palar!! She's amazing at what she does and always makes me feel comfortable. I never feel it when she sticks me. She's very professional and she's constantly moving on the floor to make sure things are going smoothly not only for the guest but for her fellow employees. Palar is such a joy. I ask for her every time I visit the center. Keep up the great work. ????
The wait for the vitals is too long. Not enough help. Plus the new donors go ahead of the returning donors so returning donors wait longer. Presently there are 10 people waiting with the 2 new donors going ahead of us. They keep adding the new donors to the line ahead of us. They just added 2 more to the front of the line. Ugh. Usually the wait for the actual giving of the plasma does not take that long.
Been donating for over a year, hadn't moved nothing had changed. I show up for my last appointment and was turned away because of where I live, despite it being A Okay the last year. Y'all could have said something my previous appointment instead of me wasting my time and resources.
I'm not sure why there's so many bad reviews but I am here to go against the naysayers and say THEY CARE HERE! I was a first timer and so many people asked me questions, were very informative, literally everyone I came into contact with. I also observed how they were treating regulars and it was with the same care. They have new machines as I was told, and everything was pretty efficient. Thank you guys for taking care of me!!!!!! It's a new year, give people a chance.
Even 1 star feels too generous. Not organized, rude, no one really knows what they are doing. Multiple people including me left after waiting for 2 hours with nothing. You won't get compensation because they probably won't ever get to you.
CHECK REVIEWS B4 SCHEDULING. This location needs to be trained by the snellville location. I have never waited a hour and a half to get in the chair. This is unreal. The girl next to me was sitting in the wait line since 10:35a it is now 12:19p.
This is the worst bio center I've ever been to in my life. The donors often get seated without being next in line. This location never answers the phone. My protein was off by one point after my first donation so I had to come back to give a blood sample to retest. I literally never got a call back with the results. I had to randomly pop up to the location considering they do not answer the phone to see if I can return. I spoke with a manager who mentioned extending my promotion consider by the time I pop
This location is the closest to where I live, so I started my donor process here. It's been about 3-4 months, and I've since been to 2 other donation centers so far. This has been the worst one yet. The lines are always long no matter the day or time; I have never been in and out in under 1.5 hours. Today (Jan 15, 2025) has been the most ridiculous wait time. My appointment was at 11:55 AM, and the time of me writing this review is 1:25 PM. I still haven't gotten my donation done yet, and I'm 9th in line to
Not sure why an appointment is needed because even with an appointment you wait over 2 hrs just to get in a chair to donate. My last visit i was there over 3 hrs. They have 48 donation chairs but only had 12 that were in use. If they r under staffed they shouldn't allow so many appointments. I will be going back to my old plasma center where no appointment is needed and I'm only there on average 1.5hrs vs 3 hrs!
I had a great first time experience at this location. The staff is amazing! 3rd donation: The assistant manager with the Caribbean accent unfortunately spoiled my previous review above. You're in a country that has been gracious to you, try being gracious back. You injured me, silly goose.
Bad experience. I tried to donate plasma back in October after a surgery I had in August . Waited almost 2 hours to be seen. No toilet paper in bathroom. They told me I needed to wait 4 months to donate. Fine no big deal. Fast forward four months, I go in there today and they have my surgery date wrong in the system so won't let me donate. I pull up my surgery record with the nurse to show him. I even go as far as sharing with him my surgery visit notes and that they have the dates wrong and he basically te
Some of the staff here are extremely rude and have no manners. If you don't like working with the public why continue. They act like they do not actually care about you. And if you say anything to management about it they turn a blind eye.
Giving blood is important but this was an absolute waste of time. This center should be closed until new leadership and efficient processes are in place. Imagine how many more people would donate if it didn't take 3 hours.
I have had great experiences here, all of the staff are friendly and helpful. Especially when it's crazy busy and they're doing the best they can. I've come in the afternoon when the wait is long and I've come in the morning when there were no lines. Just be patient and don't come here if you're in a rush to get in & out! The facility is very professional, sanitary, and comfortable. I definitely recommend it, like I said if you're impatient that's kind of your problem bestie ?? A place where you get paid to
99% of the time I've been here the waiting time is around 2,5 hours. There are some really nice techs but the system is a mess. There is not planning nor efficiency. More than 25 people waiting, some of them for around 4 hours and only 2 techs. Nurse standing on the front looking at everybody but not helping at any station, other lady (I guess in training) just standing there without doing anything at all. Only one tech taking vitals. Most of stations are empty and instead of having a systemic way to operat
I just wanted to leave a review for the crew at biolife in Duluth. Especially Lakentrie. He displayed the utmost professionalism. If I could rate 10 stars I would. I've read nothing but bad reviews but I'm here to tell you that the team at Duluth are top notch. I've been a donor at CSL in Florida for years and they have nothing on the crew in Duluth. Biggup to Lakentrie! He deserves to be acknowledged by management. Also I don't remember the male nurses name but he is also top notch. This review is f
A few years ago I could come in, donate, and be done in 1.5 hours. Now you have to wait way longer than that just to donate. A few days ago I was here nearly 4 hours. Even though you have to make an appointment. I would go elsewhere to make better use of your time. This is the Duluth location.
LONG WAIT TIME COMPARE TO ANY OTHER LOCATION. There's plenty of empty seats but they don't have it open to be used. I'll be going back to my original location. It's the fact that everybody is gonna have different time to donate. But they are only going based on once one person is done donating the next person can used, just AWFUL ! Looks like only 1-2 chairs available per color cubical so imagine that !
Complaint Regarding Recent Donation Experience I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent donation experience on December 3rd. I arrived at your facility and encountered an unusually long wait time for vital checks. When it was finally my turn, the employee who performed my vitals, Edwin, did not follow proper procedure. He failed to conduct an arm check and drew blood with multiple air bubbles, necessitating a re-stick. Additionally, he referenced a book or work instruction to determin
Overall I had a great experience until my last time there. I have good veins and have never had an issue. The last time I went the lady missed my first vein, got it, but only partially so it caused a hematoma with massive bruising. She went to my other arm which I regularly use and missed again and said today isn't her day. If it happened again I would be deferred. I waited to go back and when I did they wouldn't let me donate because I didn't have both arms, the one still has massive bruising. Would have b
As you can see this clinic barely has anyone working here. I don't know what's wrong with the hiring management but they need to either hire more people or close down. Theirs only 5 phlebotomist on the floor at a time which means three full sections are empty with no phlebotomist on duty or donors being assisted. The lines goes around the whole clinic and all I see is the people who work here laughing, giggling, and taking breaks.
Nice clean place, just make sure they pay you what they said because there is a lot of confusion around that. Staff is awesome!
While the staff is amazing the wait time egregious at best. What's the point of scheduling an appointment if time will not be honored. I scheduled an appointment for 1040 it's now 1230 and I still haven't even began the donation process. Lack of staffing and honoring appointment times is ridiculous. I would go to snellville but the drive is to long. It is now 2pm and still not done ridiculous.
Do not waste your time at this place. My appointment was at 3:45 and I didn't leave until 7:00, and I couldn't even make a donation because the nurse couldn't find my veins. Why didn't they just check my veins at the beginning to avoid having them dig a needle in my arm for no reason? The nurse stuck that needle so far in I thought it was going to come out the other side. Ouch!! I waited for over 2 hours before they even called me back for the physical exam, where the nurse said to me that I'm supposed to e
Everyone was so nice and attentive. Special shout out to Sajel who is one of the nurse's there. Very sweet and kind and very helpful
I love donating plasma at this center! Because they only take appointments, the donation screening is faster. And everyone there is so friendly!
I give this place 0 stars? I was unaware that my kid could not of sat in the lobby quietly on her tablet as they have a kids room & no signs saying no children allowed. The manager (Nicole) came in the plasma area yelling very loud where all the donors & employees could hear, ?who has a kid in the lobby, so I said that's my daughter so she walks over and says you have to go now , you have to go the kids room is closed at this time I was giving plasma and she was very rude even the workers and a few donors
I've been coming here for a little over 6 months, and it had been going smooth until corporate took control of scheduling. The last two visits, lines have been extremely long. Lines wrapping around the walls. I know to leave a sufficient amount of time to donate but these days you wait up to an hour or more just for vitals. I haven't been able to donate the last two appointments because I had to be at work in another city. I feel for the staff, as they are clearly overworked.
DO NOT GO HERE. I REPEAT. DO NOT GO HERE. The service is worse than a government health department. They had a promotion that was supposed to run for 30 days. On my first donation, the machine broke down and kept all of my blood. Then after my third donation, they told me that they had to rerun a test because of the failed original test. It took 2-3 weeks for the results to come back. After everything was good, I went to donate, and they told me that the promotion was over and that I wouldn't qualify for an
The staff is super nice, well informed, and helpful. The facility was clean and the playlist created an environment that put me at ease.
Staff is friendly and I enjoy their company whenever I give plasma. Ken, Edwin, Alaana, Ana and more are always working hard to get the next person through. I do want to mention however that if your expectations are to get in and get out within an hour than you will be disappointed. This process takes time. Each person on average takes about 50 min to donate plasma from the moment they are hooked up to the machine to the moment they are unhooked form the machine. That's not including being processed at the
I don't understand why I had to sit an hour waiting in a chair to donate plasma. Is it normal just to wait over an hour to start the process? It's my first time, and this experience does not make me want to come back here. One girl before me left probably because they had her waiting an Insane amount. Even after I took her spot in line, I am still waiting over an hour just sitting in a chair. Nobody has even taken an ounce of blood or any physicals necessary to register me as a new donor, that's after waiti
Well I have been going here for a while now and I have to say the attitudes are changing with the staff. Most try and maintain there composure while dealing with customers. It appears they are under staffed and the pressure is getting to them. I try and come in early at times due to my job. I was told no problem in the beginning. Now it appears to be a problem. The so called manager who looks like she has an attitude anyway did not give me the common courtesy to walk up to the counter and talk to me. She t
GO ELSEWHERE!! HORRIBLE visit!!!! i am a return donor ( i just completed 8 more visits) and when in I went in last wk, i noticed very early on that the IV liquids were dripping - the nurse never noticed this. So when i had reached 20% of my donation i was able to get the nurse?s attention and poin this out to her. Then, NOTHING WAS SAID TO ME, except we are terminating this due to a ?breech? and you just need to go with the nurse. THEN AGAIN, NOTHING WAS SAID except i needed to be monitored for a few min. A
The screeners and phlebotomists were pleasant but the amount of time spent in center is absolutely ridiculous. As a new donor it took a total of 5.5 hours to finally get out of there. 2.5 hours before my name was even called on. My last visit I spent close to 4 hours before I got to the donation chair. There wasn't even a line to go through screening but to get in a chair was the problem.
If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would this is ridiculous the wait time is insane you can get there at 8am and won't get to the back to start donating at 10:30-11 literally over 2 hours after getting there and there a line of 30 plus always waiting to donate it's like they have no workers management needs to seriously fix this problem bio life never had long ass wait times
Had my first time this week and it was really good, besides the obvious needles involved. The girls at the front and the health check are super nice. The process does take about 3 hours which was stated on the website so I was ok with that. Bring a blanket tho! I was freezing during the donation.
Hello, everytime I go and donate it is a very pleasant experience. Everyone is so nice and they make you feel welcome. I look forward to each visit. The staff there are always very professional and down to earth. They get their jobs done in a very professional and consistent way yet they still manage to offer a friendly hello, how are you. I love this donation center and again I look forward to going each time. Thank you to the staff at this center for making my visits fun and relaxing and PROFESSIONAL!
I had an appointment today and arrived 15 minutes late. I called this facility at least 10 times while I was on my way to get to the appointment with no response. I left a voice message advising about my delay. When I arrived, I had to wait 15 minutes to talk to a phlebotomist and she didn't checked me in. I also had to wait 30 minutes to be attend by the Manager. I waited at the facility 45 minutes trying to be assisted. It was a very inhuman and degrading treatment.
This was my second visit to this location. The wait time is entirely TOO LONG. The first time i waited over an hour in line. Once hooked up, I completed my donation in 45 minutes. Today i left the center after waiting 30 minutes in line because i still had 10 people in front of me. I love donating plasma to help people and put extra money in my pocket, but the excessive wait times are ridiculous in Duluth. Please stop overbooking and accepting appointments when you don't have staff. I'm heading back to your
Staff is friendly enough to warrant more than 1 star, but I've been waiting 2 hours to start the donation and I can't say this is worth it. Go to the Snellville Center. It's 20 minutes FURTHER away from me, but I SAVE time going there. The Duluth center is awful. They need more staff and to pay their current staff enough that their turnover rate isn't so high. There's ALWAYS someone new here and there's ALWAYS people I've seen working before that never comes back.
PILAR!! Remember that name not only is she a funny bubbly young woman but her technique when it comes to hooking you up to the machine and removing it is incredible i never feel the discomfort of the needle with her she needs to teach the others that magic she does give her a raise something
The manager here needs to be fired immediately. My appointment was at 2:45pm. It's now 4pm and I have not been seen or spoken to after checking in at 2:30pm. Drive further! It's worth not sitting through this torture!
Got there for my 9:00am appointment and was taken care of immediately! Everyone was professional and understanding, making sure they explained the process to me. Miss Cassandra at the donation bay was exceptional! Keep in mind that first time donations take up to 3 hours, so be in the mindset to be patient.
For the past two weeks I was unable to Dontae because of the vital line being wrapped around to the restroom and y?all keep putting Angel up there and she moves very slow. Y?all normal do amazing job. The only people who are working really hard are Kim, Ken , Edwin and Ana these three are always working hard to get the line down. I do believe these four individuals deserve a raise and praise for their hard work and dedication
The machines make noises and lights flash all for employees to be running their mouths with other patients leaving the entire area unattended. Mice place needs better hiring process and identify a friendly person and someone who talks too much
This place really needs upper management to come in a restructor how it's ran. New patient, but I walked out. Staff is very slow, person doing physicals was walking around doing nothing with 2 new donors waiting, very little staffing, need more employees. Poorly ran 0/10 I suggest going to a different location.
This is my third time, and each time I donate the wait gets longer. I used to donate at a different plasma center a few years ago and it never took longer than an hour for me to answer the questionnaire, get my vitals checked, and get in the chair and begin the donation process. Today I made an appointment for 10am. It it's currently 1:36pm and i?ve yet to begun the donation process. I could be understanding if the center was extremely busy- but it is not. Everyone is moving extremely slow, many donation ch
Kemy through her tireless efforts always proves an amazing experience when i visit its always goes smoothly 10 out 10 highly recommend her
Terrible I waited for 3 hours for them to tell me I can't donate because I had to many tattoos when I could have been told that from the start when they seen my tattoo's
BIOLIFE DOESN?T CARE ABOUT THEIR DONORS NOR THEIR STAFF. It's very evident in how each party is treated. The donors are met with extremely long lines/wait times (3+ hours) w/ever decreasing rewards. The staff is over worked and overwhelmed. It's obvious that there's a management problem: high turn over doesn't reflect well on their ability to manage. Currently, I'm close to 3 hours waiting for a chair. Staff member Anthony came out to ?inform? us that it would be an 90min wait before getting a chair?a ploy
Worst customer service!!! Had an appointment at 5. Waited until 8 at night after the closed and still hadn't seen a nurse. Managers couldn't come talk to us. The front desk people were super rude! 5 people got up and walked out, new donors at that. This is the worst plasma place I've ever been too. Definelty recommend KEDPLASMA over this place any day! Do not go here!
Yesterday I went in for an appointment at 3:45 PM. I left at 7PM. But, guess what? I did not donate plasma and I wasted a good 3 hours waiting. Luckily I am not too pressed for money, but other people waiting with me seemed to be. Individuals who came in at 3PM waited 4 hours, just to not be seen. Or, if they were seen, they were then told they would not be able to donate due to medications being taken. Which is completely understandable, but I have donated blood before at different centers, such at The Bl
I would really love to continue donating, but if it takes 5 hours to donate, it's starting to get frustrating. Staff are accommodating but the center is still highly understaffed. I feel bad for the people who work there because I'm pretty sure they are overworked at this point.
This facility does not use sanitary practices. I've witnessed it countless times. Vitals section... they don't regularly change their gloves or sanitize the counter between donors. On the donating floor, they don't change their gloves between donors either. They jump from donor to donor, machine to machine, wiping down donor chairs with a spray bottle, and the same reusable DIRTY cloth. They should be using disposable wipes between each donor and changing their gloves every single time! They are literally
Friendly staff and clean facility. Very long lines. Still here normally waiting in line for 1.5-2 hours before getting in the chair. They did just add chairs which is nice so we don't have to stand up the whole time while waiting. Staff is GREAT!
Giving a 1 star due to lack of communication I had a simple question that could of been answered over the phone, nobody answers the phone, and they do not return phone calls. When I showed up to get the answer I was looking for in person and informed them of my trouble reaching them they had no reaction to that information whatsoever, complete indifference like they didn't even hear it.. To be clear, I am a patient and forgving person, but calling 4 times on Wednesday and twice on Thursday leaving voicem
Don't bother, unless you are desparate for money! Total time spent in the building was 4 1/2 hours, including 1 1/2 hours of waiting in line! Only got paid $40, my time is WAY more valuable than that. Shame; used to be way more organized.
Today is January 23. The lines are long. My appointment was at 1;35 I Am number 27 in lime and it's 2:30 now. Yall need to Fix this
The facility is large, well lit, and clean. 9 of my 10 donations were at 07:00. There are not enough personnel to take vitals and process the donations. I have not had a bad experience with those who take the donation, but you tell most of them are stressed out. Marilyn (she takes your vitals) is the most consistent and available employee at this site.
Overall experience was good; just got stuck wrong and the blood wasn't able to go back in correctly so now my arm is covered in bruises
The staff is always so friendly! They make the experience so enjoyable especially Mrs. Shemeka. Whenever I go in my hope is to get her cause I know she is going to be efficient and friendly and make me comfortable. I might even get a good laugh all while helping the community and giving back!
Have been displeased with the facility management and licensed medical personnel. First, one of the clinicians advised me to "lie" while completing the questionnaire so I didn't have delays upon check-in. I reported her to management and it was addressed. Second, I had an appt scheduled but it didn't show at the facility. The manager who addressed it was rude. Two other people had the same issue as I and she let them donate that day. She wouldn't let me and couldn't give me a good excuse. Interesting
After my second donation here, they were supposed to call me and never did, and I come to find out I was ineligible to donate because my protein was "irregular." So they turned me away after a blood draw and made me wait. Then called me again to say it was low, retested, then it was too high the next time. So this wasted 3 weeks of the new donor pay, yet another plasma center let me donate and it went fine. I went back three more times when I was finally eligible after calling them again. It's absolutely hilarious everything?s up but the donation price is down I???????? We know y?all make 10,000+ every 900 ml But wanna give $40 a donation. You better have half a day at least to donate here you'll get there at six in the am and won't get out of there till 12. Or after
The are truly unorganized like my appointment was for 2:40pm I've been waiting almost 2 hours. Y'all have unprofessional nurses. Like it shouldn't take two hours to see people for a physical at all. This BioLife is the worst location. They are slow, attitudes sucks. This was to change. Like BioLife do better. McDonough location is way better.
The team is very motivated consistent is very clean and the team know how to keep you calm they are determined to get you in and out really like this place
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
