I've been to a few other plasma donation places around my area and this is hands-down. The best spot I have ever been to!! Everyone is super nice, friendly and fast. At this location and From start to finish, I was in and out in less than three hours. ( Mind you for tour first visit as a new patient to get everything all set up and your physical money card, donating, etc. at the other places I would be there for a minimum of five hours!!) Lindsay, Rhonda and Ian were absolutely amazing extremely professio

I always had a pleasant experience and everything was always sanitary. The employees have all been pleasant and seem happy to be doing their job which in itself makes you feel more comfortable. Made walking in the front door feel more welcoming even though I knew one or two of them were about to poke me. Lol. My only regret is that I live at a distance where after the first month promotional payments were lowered I can no longer afford to make the trip.:( however it felt good knowing that in some way I was

This location is absolutely terrible. I arrived at 1:30 PM for my appointment, only to see the nurse twice. Both times, she never performed my physical exam. Then, she took me to the donation line, where I sat down.To my surprise, they had never done my physical exam, so the labels never printed. I sat there for three hours without anyone saying a word. No one seemed to know what was going on. They were all confused and disoriented. Even the nurse with the purple hair threatened to kick multiple people out

Great experience! 10/10 would recommend this place over several others in our local area. Ian and Rhonda made us feel right at home and even for a first time with all the extra stuff was a quick, efficient and painless experience. We will be back to save some more lives soon ??

The staff is generally fantastic. They're all extremely friendly and the only reason I say generally fantastic is some are extremely slow, but they're all very kind and decent. You can tell they enjoy their work. In fact I don't think any of them don't enjoy their work which makes the experience for all of us the patients very good. Bio Life in Elkhart is a great place to donate.

The staff is very friendly and professional I have no complaints with them at all. I leave this 2 star review based on the overall experience and the time it takes out of my busy schedule witrh very ample compensation. Considering there is plasma centers in the Chicago area paying 100,00 per donation. And I dont like the fake text messages saying that you were paying 3000.00 for the month of January then I get all the way there and the center doesnt know anything about that.

The building is clean and bright, the staff members are friendly and helpful, and they do a great job with Iv starts which makes the donation experience much more pleasant. Wear layers though because the building, like most medical facilities, is always cold.

If it's on your heart to donate, don't do it here. I was ready to donate for the first time, but when I came inside I was completely ignored by all the staff for at least 20 minutes, no one even told me to wait or they'll be with me shortly or anything. I stood exactly where the sign said I was supposed to, and no one could be bothered to even acknowledge me. It was only after a line gathered behind me that someone finally came to talk to me. And the woman who helped me was lethargic, she didn't speak clear

As I sit here waiting, there is not one body behind the counter and hasn't been for over a half hour. Don't come here if you value your time. My appointment was an hour and a half ago. And I'm still not hooked up to a machine to donate. My account mysteriously had another man's name added to it. All of my information has been updated but not one nurse I deal with can see it. Wth is going on? So unprofessional and confused these people are.

Every time I donated I've had a VERY pleasant experience Hats off to the staff?especially Amanda and Ash and also another member of I just don't know her name because she where's her name tag in a way that obscures sight but Amanda trained her and trained her well

Sometimes they are really busy and you have to plan on well over an hour to finish. But the employees there are really good and the place is clean.

The staff are very friendly and professional the facility is very clean and well maintained. I've donated at Octapharma and CSL and BioLife exceeds those places by miles. Not to mention they always play the best music!

Really professional then any other ones I've been to really fast and great service and a solid 4 stars. I would make it 5 but they need to work on getting more bonuses.

The staff here is phenomenal. Educated, friendly and professional. They treat everyone through the door with respect.

I enjoy going to BioLife to donate plasma in these trying times. John and many of their technicians are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, quick, and make your donation enjoyable. I highly recommend taking the time to donate.

I've been to biolife twice now and I've had Alyssa twice now ?? and she is not only is she efficient and quick she's also very kind.

The last 10 donations I have given, I have had no wait times! The service has been excellent!

First off (BioLife owner) quit replying to reviews by asking us to visit the website and list our concerns. The concerns are listed in the reviews - DUH. So save your robotic, emotionless requests. Nobody is here to make friends or invite anyone over for dinner. We don't care if your employees are nice. We want to get in and get out. That is ALL we care about. Hurry the hell up. Stop making us wait 3 hours for 40 dollars. Does nobody want to work here? Turnover? Well pay more. It's common knowledge how mu

I enjoy every two days of the week that I donate that I'm saving someone's life.

This is one of the best centers I have ever been to, both the gentlemans that work there rub off on all the staff with there smiles piliteness, everyone out there the whole staff is great , pat your selves on the shoulder, you all deserve it.

Employees are always pleasant and are very helpful regarding my fear of needles. Bedside manner is always pleasant at this facility. Specifically, Samantha she is always on top of things as well as making sure that you are are comfortable during your donation.

Pretty efficient and professional even when they are swamped. The professional vampires are all pretty well skilled and have upbeat attitudes.

I arrived at 8:20 am on a Sunday and waited until 10 am for the nurse to check my arm for a bruise. When she finally came over, she was extremely rude and asked why I was looking at her. I explained that I had been waiting over an hour, and she responded dismissively, saying, ?Your name isn't on the list, and I'm going to help other people first.? Her behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. I decided to leave. There was even a sign on my chair indicating I was waiting for a nurse visit. Every visit he

Well overall a good experience but a couple of times a tech missed my vein and because of the hematoma I wasn't able to donate and didn't get the full promotion I was offered, at no fault of my own.

I've been donating plasma at the Elkhart location for about 5 months. Staff is always friendly, facility is always clean and have had an overall fantastic experience everytime!

TAKE HOIRS FOR A DONSTILN. Every time I come in there's some nonsense problem. Tried more than five times to donate and every time they're a a problem. If you are serious about donating dont bother wasting your time and just go to mishawaka

Always always ALWAYS wait up to an hr just to donate. When I had to do a physical I waited 3 hrs to simply just see the nurse then another hr waiting in line and an hr donating. Seriously 5 hrs for $40?. Not worth it. Watched the nurse just walk around and go in and out of her office for an hr before she decided to ?work? and call someone back to her office. They seriously don't care about people here at all!!

I absolutely love this location in elkhart. The workers are extremely kind and compassionate.

Very please with my experience at BioLife. The staff were very caring and knowledgable. They make you feel comfortable through the whole process.

Todays date. 8-31-2024. I had an appointment this morning. From the time I walked in you could tell things were tense. The reason I was told is because they were understaffed due to call offs. I understand that happens. But the supervisor Amanda had set the negative tone for all of the other team members. I would say the only bright spot in the whole experience was one of the ladies I've talked to before. Not sure her name. But she's an African American lady with long hair. My appointment was at 8:20. Amand

Thanksgiving Eve was busy, but there was still only 3 of 4 sections open, i e. 18 of 24 beds. The staff works very hard, they just need more workers. Anytime there is a long wait, it is due to a lack of workers, it is never because of lazy workers. I appreciate the staff and they need more help.

The staff here are good at what they do and are very well trained. I love coming here knowing I'm getting good care. I'm greeted with a smile when I come in. They show they are happy to see me. I highly recommend coming here.

Its been a great place .. Nice friendly people.

My last time that I was there the guy that was checking my stats was awful. He didn't pay attention to what he was doing . Because My pulse was supposedly high told me to go sit down to give me ten mins and do a recheck well he came over and told me he had to poke my finger again because he dropped the first one. So I got that done went and sat back down then he came back over and told me that I needed to be invited to go sit down and mind you this was in three mins he rechecked my blood pressure and it was

Thank you for increasing awareness for customer satisfaction. Wait times not long. Tho when deferred to the nurse, wait time to see them is off the charts.

Used to be a decent facility but has really gone down the drain. Aubree is an extremely rude and disregarding person. I've witnessed her yell at an older gentleman trying to do his questionnaire on the computer. Amanda is great worker though that's probably the only person I really see put the effort. Hopefully one day it'll become a better running facility equipped to its max potential and greater general training.

Everything is great. Minus the cool guy manager that comes off as a dictator..take a chill pill mcdreamy.

i enjoyed seeing they care about the donors as much as the donation. they make sure the donors are okay to proceed with the process, they make sure they are well fed as well if they haven't ate breakfast, they provide a couple snacks and drinks. and they explained the process pretty efficiently and straight to the point. i was also very comfortable during the procedure as well.

My boyfriend went here yesterday for his first time donating plasma. They treated him awfully and were extremely condescending and disrespectful based simply on his tattoos, which are not offensive and don't even have words. I was considering donating and will no longer be doing so because of how they treated him. For a company constantly asking for more donors, they are treating those who want to help like scum. If you are considering donating plasma, do not go here.

Honestly it's a good place, however it is woefully understaffed and as a result the wait times for donations have been over 3 hours for every donation I have made in the month of December. When I asked an employee about the wait time, they said simply ?we don't have the staff?. Currently (12/23) they are using only 1/4 of their donation beds as they don't have the staff to operate the other 3/4. I find it ironic that while they have only 12 beds open, they continue to book appointments as if they were sti

This center has come a long way through the pandemic and out the other side. The staff is incredibly friendly & knowledgeable. Several of them know me by name and my husband's as well. The center is always extremely clean and wait times have gotten better too. I would still plan on 2 hours total for donations and 4-5 hours for a physical but it's so worth it. The new machines are awesome! I'm excited for them to get more and new beds soon!

Always a wonderful visit. Every staff member is warm and inviting with smiles and chats to easy your anxiety. They make your visit as quick and smooth as possible. I've been coming here for a while now and have had the opportunity to see many employees grow and become more skilled and confident. I'm so proud of their progress. I know that ever time I donate it's going to be a good visit with friends ??

Very clean and thorough. Everyone is friendly and helpful, even when it's busy. Sometimes the lines are a long wait, but the employees working are always doing everything they can to keep it moving. Rachel is phenomenal! Love her energy!

I wasn't paid what my app said I was going to get paid on my last donation. The app showed that i would get paid $80 for my second donation. That was not the case. I believe i was paid only $65. False advertising and not ok to deceive your donors who help pay the bills.

Great Place Their Very Fast Friendly With Everybody They Do Their Job Very Professionally

I would have to write a dissertation to describe it. It's sort of different every time. It's been good bad and ugly. But you got a great group of gals working there; you're lucky to have them. The men too. But I would be lying if I said it was without issues. But it's been enlightening experience because I never knew this existed. Ive enjoyed the Plasma adventure. I need the money as Im hunting down a full-time job. Just part-time work presently but hard work nevertheless. I am a single man all alone so the

I love the atmosphere of this place. Very friendly without negativity. The staff is always great and very kind even when at their busiest. They are very much appreciated.

Came back after a year away. And things are slower than I have ever seen at any center. Waited 2.5 hrs just for a physical. Watched 4 people walk out in front of me because it took too long. A lady on the floor had a reaction. And BOTH nurses were with her for over an hr. The center manager should have had the less experienced nurse watch her. And the experienced nurse continue with physicals. If there was any problems she's in the room 5 ft away. There was 10 people waiting for a physical. Nobody besides t

they won't let you donate plasma if you're homeless, which is like the top three things listed on what to do on Google

It's really odd for me to say this because I've had so much trouble with the staff missing and blowing my arms but here lately even the ones who hurt me when they stick me have gotten a lot better I can say Nina , Audrey ,Ian , Sam and I don't know the other lady she's a manager or a head person but they were all really good had nice attitudes and I was in and out in less than an hour . The building was even really clean .

The staff there were very friendly and nice. Helpful and personable. Informed me ahead of time what they were doing and why. Now, after subsequent visits, I've gotten to meet quite a few staff members. All have been pleasant. I like the overall atmosphere there and all the coworkers seem to have a good rapport with each other.

Warning this will be long. This place is extremely unprofessional. So, my first appointment on 09-13-23 took a long time, but I expected that because I was brand new to the facility and they had to do a physical on me. The gal who took my blood (Samantha) was very nice, but she messed my arms up. They were badly bruised and bruised so much so that when I came back to donate the second time, they deferred me due to the bruising. So, I had to wait two weeks to donate again which was 09-27-23. The day before t

I recently went to BioLife in Elkhart for the first time, and the receptionist who greeted me was extremely rude and unwelcoming within seconds of our interaction, and she remained that way the whole way through. It was almost to the point where I wanted to turn around and immediately walk out. After reading her name tag and doing some investigation, I've found her full name is Aubree and she is the sole reason I did not give a five star review. If I owned a business that involved any type of customer ser

I used to donate at octa farm about 12 years ago. I was thinking about trying this place and read mixed reviews about it. More bad than good. If a doner is physically fit and cleared to donate the place shouldn't worry about SS # birth certificate and address so much. It's life saving plasma people. Octa farm never got caught up in all those things,as long as you were a person who could donate and had ID you were good to go. These places don't need to know where I live they should be happy I want to donate

Tried to give plasma and the phlebotomist did not know what she was doing. The machine messed up several times and did not allow me to give plasma because of her mistake. Waited 3 hours to get nothing !! Went in expecting $100. Horrible and the place Is unorganized and needs to be cleaner.

The staff I have had contact with is amazing! But the wait time is becoming outrageous. My last appointment I was there for almost 4 hours for a regular donation appointment. I sat in a bed for 50 minutes before I even got hooked up. Please hire more staff or limit the # of appointments.

I think much of the problem is MANAGEMENT.... Certainly don't know how to do scheduling.... I have had my own business, have managed a chiropractor office, restaurant. I know what I see. There is NO REASON we should have to wait 2 ta 4 hrs after our appointment time. Your one receptionist is worthless, slow rude clearly doesn't care about her job. Receptionist should be trained to do screening so their not standing around. You have some very rude technicians, they talk about personal, work gossip, simply

Worst customer service ever!!! It's been 3 days and 6 hours I've been waiting for a physical. The first day I was deferred because the girl doing my vitals messed up. 2nd day I waited 3 hours and left. Today I'm still waiting after 2 hrs. This place is so unorganized it's ridiculous. This is an update. I was not able to get my new donor pay because they had to draw my blood for some reason and send it out for a protein test. And I had to wait for that to get back which made me inevitably lose my new donor

I've been going here for over a year and I will no longer be donating. Where do I start? So you have to make an appointment to donate, but then when you get there on time the place is SO backed up you'll be waiting for possibly hours, so what's the "appointment " for? They don't have the staff to keep up with donors but keep taking more and more. More often than not I've been there 3 plus hours just to donate. Ive wasted gas to get out there then sit for hours just to make barely enough to cover the gas. Th

Ok first off the lady at the front with golden/black curly hair doesn't act like she wants to be here. She was slow and kept asking me questions when everything is in my file. Depending on how well people can see my file was pulled up and left on the screen when she walked away after telling me to have a seat. Like that's all my information and you're just going to leave it on the computer screen for people to see? No, thank you. She also asked if she could change my appoint time. I had said ok cause I was

If I could give a lower rating trust me I would. This place is a joke. They tell you to make an appointment, and when you get there they tell you your appointment means nothing. The staff is rude and non professional. I only met one that was and she was checking my info. She was being rushed also. Like I said this is ran like a joke. I waited over 90 minutes to be told to come back in 15 days. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE EVER AGAIN. Good luck if you do.

I have to thank John for being so rude. I am now happily donating at CSL Plasma in Mishawaka.

All I have wanted to do is speak with ANYONE on the phone about my donating. I moved out of Indiana (about 3-4 hour drive) several years ago. HOWEVER, elkhart, indiana location LOCKED my donating after i left and never said why. I have had no issues donating ANYWHERE else (csl, octapharma, etc). Went to a local biolife who told me that the Indiana location needed to unlock my account first before I could donate in a different state. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE IN INDIANA EVER! I have called and left SEVERAL me

I am a very long time donor. But I don't enjoy donating anymore. Every single time I go to donate, there is a huge long line that everyone has to stand in. I am on my feet all day and the last thing I want to do is stand in line for sometimes another hour or more. Then just when I am finally getting ready to get to the bed and finally ,get off my feet, they will put a new donor right in front of me, because they have been there for a long time! There have been times I have actually been standing in line lo

0 stars if it was possible. I signed up as a new donor, my girlfriend convinced me to try it out and the vibe was off from the start, the lines were long and I did make an appointment, but the lady that checked me in was so slow and I could barely hear her. I provide all the information they need and get checked in and the employee that took my blood readings was rude and acted like he didn't want to be there. If you want to run an effective business, you need some charisma if you're working in customer

I have been donating now for just shy of a month. I am going 2x a week and it's an easy process. There is a wait sometimes but I am going at there busiest times of day. All the techs do a really good job of poking without it hurting. Very happy with the money too!

Staff have been kind & helpful. They were professional when explaining the process. Specifically appreciate nurse Taylor who assisted me at the beginning. Best to make an early appointment or you might have to wait quite a while to donate.

I was in and out in less than an hour and a half. Everybody is super professional, and super friendly. The facility is clean and accommodating.

Overall it's a great place to donate. The waits times can be long at times especially when people are just getting off from work. I have been donating for over 6 years now and I will have to say they used to send rewards and coupons for more money but they rarely if ever send you coupons anymore

I have been going to biolife for years I guess you can say I have seen the best and the worst of biolife. There's many staff members that go the extra mile to make your experience the best it can be but when you make an appointment you should be in an out in about an hour that was always my experience early on when donating. Now I wait a minimum of an hour to hour and a half just to get a bed this only happens when you over schedule for the staff you have available this is frustrating for the people donatin

Just wonderful ppl there like Kellie she did my finger poke then my stick and my Dc

Waited 4 hours with an appointment and then later found out they ?forgot? to put me on the list to see the nurse after my questionnaire. Most staff were unwelcoming and rude. Wasted so much time and wasn't even able to donate at the end of it all. Don't waste your time

This place is a joke. every time i go they have no idea what is going on. one person tells me one thing and then another tells me something else. i went in the other day for the first time in awhile, sat through the entire physical, just for the nurse to hit the wrong button. Due to this, the system locked me out from donating that day. i was told to come back the next day and everything would be ok. so, i came back the next day. this time, i was told that i needed to provide a legal document showing that i

Recently moved back to IN from AZ and made an appointment at the Elkhart donation center to see if it was better than my experiences in Tucson. I checked in as usual but one of my questionnaire answers needed review. The one asking if my address on file was correct and I truthfully answered No. I stand at the front desk for 10 minutes where they have a notice claiming ?Donating at any BioLife center nationwide is simple and hassle-free.? Definitely not in my case. Once an employee finally asked about my iss

Today was my first day. I had my physical, and then I donated. I was comfortable throughout the entire process, and am more than satisfied with everything! Special thanks to Rhonda for getting me going! All the staff I encountered were very kind, professional ladies with a fun sense of humor. They are short-staffed and worked very hard, but always smiling and very caring. Glad to know I'll be able to help many people who need plasma donations.

It took 3 hrs the first time just to be told I couldn't donate until my doctor sent in information regarding my hospital stays. Never got a physical in those 3 hours. That was all wait time. Was almost tempted to leave went up front to ask if I could reschedule and the lady apologized and said the system malfunctioned and let more people than allowed sign up to donate. After a week of waiting for my doctor to send in the paperwork I go in to my appointment to be told I couldn't donate until the physician wh

All in all it's a good place and I've made going there part of my weekly routine. Sometimes the phlebotomists don't attend to you in the correct patient order. Recently after taking a chair and waiting they proceeded to attend to two people that were behind me in the waiting line. It was probably something like 45 minutes before someone attended me. There should be some way to monitor the phlebotomists to alert them of situations like this. Once during the pre-screening they said I would need to wait to see

If you experience pain discomfort keep it to yourself the staff does not want to hear it. They will let the needle sag when you get unhook. If it hurts while you pump to bad. If you say anything you will deferred for being rude and abusing staff. Keep your tone flat no emotions. You have been warned.

Great staff!!! I genuinely look forward to seeing them. They work hard and efficiently! My donation today was 60 minutes exactly and thats including my wait in line. Cant say enough how appreciated they are!

This is awful! I have never in my life seen such a slow operation. You make an appointment then you wait in line FOREVER! once you get through the 1st line then you wait in another line. Once you make it back to donate, some of these people make you wait up to another 30 minutes before they hook you up. I signed up for 8 donations, I have 2 more then I will not be back. STOP scheduling so many people at the same time. You obviously do not have enough staff to cover them.

Good luck getting anything done at the reception desk. Only ever have one person working it and at times no one is there to help at all. Wait times have gotten better for the donations but that's the only change that comes to mind after coming for over a year.

Great people generally (especially a lady named 'Ash' or 'Ashley' (?)????). It just takes way too long to get through the line. Donation only takes 1 hour but the line is usually 1-2 hours before you get a bed. ??????? I'd donate more if I could get in and out faster.

Ashley is absolutely wonderful! She is always so kind to me and comforted me as a new donor when I was scared. If I could request her every time, I totally would.

The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately I wasted 2 hours of my time, to find out I got disqualified bc of a neck surgery and fusion from 1993. If biolife knows there are more disqualifying factors they need to be put on this website. Nowhere does it state a cervical spine fusion disqualifies you. So although the staff was nice, they may waste your time. Good luck

Been doing this for over 11 years. Well now 15... Staff is still always friendly. And it is still always clean. Gets busy around the Holidays, and as lay-offs happen, but they generally try hard to keep things timely, even when understaffed.

The staff have always been really friendly and have always put me in an even better mood. They've always engaged me in conversation whenever I've deigned to start one, and I've always felt comfortable with the atmosphere and the environment in general. Sometimes wait times do start to build up but as most anyone can attest to, that happens when a business gets unexpectedly busy. When it does happen, I've never seen an employee slacking off and everyone is always rushing around and doing their very best to t

Don't be fooled by the matter of fact tones from the staff. They're all so sweet every time I come in. Rhonda took great care of me when my machine broke done and my cells couldn't be returned. Zach is great at finding my right vein without bruising me. Linda is quiet but nice enough when I have questions or concerns. You can tell that these guys dont get enough credit for being short staffed but they do their best and smile through it.

I truly will never refer anyone to your place of business! I was turned away today because of a review I made about promotions. Told me they couldn't except me Any longer said I told them I was homeless not true but even if it was how you gonna turn me away for that !! Very rude waste of my time and money
