For the most part, this place is great. But I have been deffered a couple of times, one right at the beginning of my donation, so I missed much of my new donor benefits, and when I brought to the nurse's attention that something was right with my arm, she brushed it off, which lead to a hematoma and yet another deferral. But everyone is nice and very efficient, moving through the different people quickly. And they are friendly and willing to talk about random things to easy any tension you might have
Wow, what a relaxing experience it is to get my finger pricked and my private health data recorded by staff who are too busy chatting about their weekend plans or what they're having for lunch. Nothing instills confidence quite like being treated like an afterthought while two employees joke around over my shoulder and toss half-hearted one-word commands my way. "Sit." "Squeeze." "You're done." Great communication?if I were a dog. But hey, who needs efficiency when you've got vibrant social lives to mainta
First time donating in 23 yrs.Staff and nurses were awesome and very professional.Clean up to date after fist visit a finger scan system makes checking in answering?? Quick easy got $125.00 had a plus $50?2 promo medical screen 45min first draw for 885 units 55min clean they are very specific serious about hygiene and cleanliness...Said I smelled of cigarettes make sure next time not to didn't make me mad made me feel they are doing what's best for all donors. Some may be allergic No complications no compla
Mostly a very nice and clean facility but they are rather slow. Even a normal donation with no nurse conversation will still set you back 2 or more hours and the payment is very confusing. I have received the bonuses for new donors but haven't actually seen any payment for the actual donation. Just the bonuses have been deposited into my card. Emailed biolofe about a week ago about it but have not received a reply.
They told me to sign this paper and I got it signed. They stated that they are waiting for the doctor to approve it and they will give me a phone call. It been almost over two months and I haven't received a phone call. I keep calling Biolife and they have never answer the phone. What is the purpose of having phones if you are not going to answer them? I have called numerous times within a span of a day and they have never answer the phone. It shouldn't take over two months to approve one paper especially.
Wifi isn't great but the process of door to bed is good. The machine set up is smaller than other places I've been in the past so it takes a while longer to donate. And it can get loud some times.
Place is generally cool but the wait time is a bit ridiculous, if you happen to come when it is a crowd you could potentially be standing for an hour to two hours before you are on the table , that's exhausting. It takes far too long , I'm just leaving and I had a 10:30 appointment. I'm late for my regular day job . We should not have to block our whole day off to donate plasma. I truly believe that a sitting area should be here , when someone falls or hurts themselves waiting , they will most likely be su
It appears that if you don't prepare yourself days, (not just the day before)your scheduled appointment, then your donation won't be successful. And if you're eating greasy, fatty foods, there is a high probability of a subdural hematoma.
Ive been going here for almost a year and it was amazing until recently. Theyve been canceling my appointments without my approval or acknowledgement. I understand the center is busy but ive always been willing to wait whatever amount of time the workers need ro get everything done efficently. But going in to donate but being turned down bcz i didnt have an appointment when i know i did is ridiculous
Wait time is astronomical! I had a 3 hr wait the last session I had. The workers are kind and I'm sure do their best BUT to block an entire afternoon for this is ridiculous!!
2/3 different females gave me hematomas & bruised my veins BACK TO BACK. had to wait for both my arms to heal from the first time then went back and they did it again. I need the money & they're playing with it bc they don't feel like doing their jobs right . Also wait times have been over an hour recently.
I get anxious and no longer donate. The ones that screen vitals seem like they don't want anyone to donate. I had no issues then all of a sudden my temperature or heart rate or iron. So last few attempts my heart rate was up because I was awaiting them to turn me away. I donate at another facility no issues now.
Staff is generally very nice. Great atmosphere. Hazel does NOT know what she is doing please take her off the donor floor before someone gets hurt??
Everyone here is so incredibly kind. They are always working so fast and efficiently trying to get everyone in and out. They always seem to get the needle right the first time and I'm thankful because personally i hate needles. I highly recommend them. Love them!!!
Horrible experience. I setup everything online for my appointment but had questions. No one picks up the phone for anything. After three days I could not get my questions answered so I showed up to my appointment with everything they asked. I was turned away. Waste of time.
Operating center is clean and organized. Attendants take pride in getting you signed in and verified. The donation areas are clean and well maintained. Everyone is friendly and helpful, very professional
I had a Horrible experience on 1-4-25 and this is the review i sent directly to Bio Life. I was unable to talk directly to anyone. FIRE HAZEL. She is absolutely HORRIBLE. I had MANY issues yesterday. She walks SO slow, and kept disappearing from the area so i couldn't get help when needed without having to call for another phlebotomist, who were all VERY busy with their own donors. She practically ignored me even when she was visible. I waited nearly 30 minutes on the bed with her walking back and forth b
The wait times are ridiculous! Second visit they blew both my arm and gave me a hematoma. They move around like pond water. This place is a joke. Once I get the newcomers bonus, I will not come back.
Nice clean clinic. Smooth visit. I felt very comfortable. Took about 3 hrs for my first visit.
Biggest issue is the wait times & appointment system. The App will schedule multiple people for a time slot, so you may be one of 5+ people ?scheduled? for a 3pm donation slot. Instead of arriving on time and getting seen in a punctual fashion, I often wait an hour to be screened, seated, and start donating. In addition, it then takes another 45 minutes to an hour donating & waiting to be disconnected to leave. The only time this is not the case is generally early in the day, right after after opening. The
An Honest Review from someone who only needed 4 donations here for an unbias review of why im no longer coming here. Its horrid how terrible all of the needle preppers are at such a simple task. These are the same (of a certain disposition) ladies that will wrongfully poke and bruise you and then give you attitude for why youre being deferred or different arm. If i have to heed the only nice and helpful (not the white one) nurse about checking my pulse to see if they didnt stick me wrong?its because i shou
I am from Fairmont. Nc, 28340, and I don't mind traveling to the ?Ville?, Fayetteville in order to donate, as it is a friendly, clean, efficient atmosphere!!!
Came back to your plasma center to donate. I have noticed a slight improvement with your staff. However there are still areas of opportunity your center can explore like the speed of screening process. There's about 5 computers from my observation but only one staff member is doing all the screenings alone while there's a supervisor on standby that is only assisting donors walking in for a visit. The lines for screening are too long. There's at times endpoint as much as 45 minutes from the time the appointm
The staff is super friendly! I barely felt getting stuck and they explained everything clearly and I donated in half the time I usually do.
This is by far the absolute worse center I have been too around Fayetteville The wait time for after check in to check vitals is ridiculous I've had to wait an hour or more after getting vitals checked to even get to a donor chair smh They need more help or they need to get well more organized because this is an insane process just to donate plasma I have never in my life had this much of a problem at any other plasma facility
I love the staff Honestly. No complaints!! I would recommend them to anyone.
Great clean facility, fast service they definitely get you in an out ,even with your first visit , very friendly staff I drove 2 hrs to donate here and was very pleased
Appointment scheduled. Online says meal, but doesn't say it has to be within two hours of appointment. Told I have to reschedule. Family member scheduled for about same time. I'm not allowed to wait inside for her. It's ?? cold out here.
Dannielle is the best she mad me wanna come back and tell all my friends and family to come
First and foremost the quality and experience is more than an epic situation. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and the staff provides you with knowledge as to what is going on before, during and after donating. Everyone from the front desk to getting your vitals and laying down to donate are a well working wheel house that makes any situation just that much easier. I've never had a complaint as to something Ii didn't agree with. Just being treated with the Golden Respect means more than words could ever
I arrived for my first appt on time. Was told since I had eaten more than one hour prior I would need to be rescheduled. Clinic did it for two days in the future. Told me there was nothing available for same day. I went home-and r/s the appt again for the same day, barely 45 minutes later. Went back. Checked in with a different person. This encounter put me in a negative attitude with this clinic. The registrar taking my vitals was very personable. The two phlebotomists I dealt with were very proficient. Th
Mia was awesome she really cared for me . Explain everything perfectly through the whole process!
My experience from start to finish was very pleasant. I had a good attitude which, in turn helped all of the people who worked with me to have an even better attitude. The center was extremely clean. The process was very precise and they made me feel comfortable.
I always called bio life a Home of comfortability and structure due to the friendly nature of being a part of something to save the world one donation at a time. Ms Risheda and Mr. Josh always brought a all is one mentality to newcomers as I was of that faucet of beginning to donate within this company. As we all know at some point and times the stars are not aiglined to sever a donation due to improper diet ,water intake or mis sticks that become redundant at times if you are a hard stick. Some can get yo
Make u get an appointment. Never ok time on their end. Exorbitant waits, decreased payout. No respect for your time!
Nice facility and people and I like how fast you get in and get done, but for god's sake if they do a random test on your blood you better have had something to eat that day. I didn't and my protein levels were low.. Well they told me I was differed and that I need to come back in one week to get my blood tested again and after that it takes another week to get the results. So another words im missing four donations. Some people rely on this money for their bills and I really think this could be sped up. It
Got referred in army base went first time took more 2 hours second time took almost 4 hours it's not organized how they work at the end both of my coworkers stopped going there since they got blood clots horrible bruising and there workers are rude
I made an appointment weeks in advance for 5pm on a Saturday due to work! I get off and head over I arrive at 5:07 (there is a 10min grace period) park and go to the door but it was locked I tried to get their attention at the desk but I could tell they were purposely ignoring me then finally someone comes to the door and says they are closed! I told her I had this appointment for some time and she says the manager said to close and the computers are down! What kind of business is that!!! It was a waste of
Donations should be higher. 100 a week is lower than two other organzations however I do like the site and several of the longer employee;s tech's are very good and friendly too kind of make you feel like family in some ways
Denied service because of a mistake made by employee. My arm was brused so my donation was refused.
The 2 doctors are very nice and respectful but the front desk staff are all dry and very rude!! The pregnant one with the green contacts act so superior like she owns the building, I understand places are busy but they stand around talking loudly about customers, the one staff member (short black one) who works in the donating part walks around with a smirk making rude remarks. I feel bad for the ones who have to work with their nasty attitudes. If you won't treat all people with respect don't work in the p
Rude, and unapologetic. I wasted my whole day. I ate before my appointment. A normal meal, they said it wasn't enough and to go buy something else and come back. I do so, come back get checked in and wait to be checked for pricking. I'm told I only have one vein my other one is too deep and they can't see me. They didn't try to compensate me at all for my time and were rude when I was asking why they couldn't when other places do so.. and also after I walked back in the nurses whispers ?she's back?.. my bro
As long as you don't mind needles, it's a great place to make a difference in the world of medicine and much more. Morganton road has all employees smiling?.and it's not a requirement! Love them.
Some workers are nice. And some are not, I love Jacie but I don't like Mia?s attitude! I wish I could get Jacie all the time I love her sticks. Doesn't hurt bit
My girlfriend and I both had appointments at 1:10pm. We got there at 1:00pm and where checked in fairly quick but sat for nearly 3 hours before getting the physical process started. It's a Tuesday it shouldn't have taken that long. Very unorganized, understaffed. And a lot of the staff not being professional and meeting time management. I had an important zoom meeting and I told the physician this and she said I'd have to make a new appointment but she was gonna get the physical done first, very nice lady.
After waiting at least an hour with an appointment, i went thru the entire process of them checking my veins pricking my finger, getting a physical where my veins where checked again only to be told by a very unfriendly and unhealthy staff member at the last step, drawing blood, my veins weren't good enough.. every medical professional that's ever had to draw blood from me has commented on how good my veins are and how it makes their job easier... but the lazy woman spent all of 2 seconds glancing at my arm
IF YOU ARE TATTOOED PLEASE READ. AS OF JANUARY 2024 (they will not disclose the date this new rule went into place btw) YOU CAN NOT DONATE IF YOU HAVE A TATTOO WITHIN 2-3 INCHES OF YOUR VEINS. THEY DO NOT TELL YOU THIS TILL THEY ARE ABOUT TO PUT THE NEEDLE IN YOU. I went through a physical yesterday and had an appointment today and nobody had any issues where the placement of my tattoos are. I have no tattoos within 2 to 3 inches of where my veins are and I was at this location donating Tuesday of the las
The place is clean and the wait is normally short but the last 4 times I've been in they had to stick both arms just to mess up. caused an adema in my right arm bruising so badly i couldn't donate for 3 weeks. I wouldn't go back if I didn't need the money.
I've been donating plasma all of my life. I've been to locations in Fayetteville, who have the same rules regarding tattoos. However, BioLife, they determine that my vein was too close to my tattoo, which is not accurate. Seeing all the people walking in and walking out because I was there for an hour and a half before they even decided they felt like turning me away, had way more tattoos than I had. I guess they pick and choose who they want to draw blood.
The staff is professional and caring. Manager Ty runs the clinic exemplary. Mikayla was the phlebotomist I had today and she did a great job with me. She explains what she is going to do and is constantly checking on her patients.
My wife donates here. And I have to say this place is the worst place I have ever been to. I was waiting inside for my wife to get done and they told me I had to wait outside. It was 38 degrees outside and I had been waiting inside for her like this for over 2 months and then all of a sudden now I have to wait outside. I was not in the way and wasn't bothering anyone. There were plenty of chairs inside and there was not a lot of people waiting inside to donate. They are very inconsiderate.
A great experience. Staff is really nice and explains everything to you.
So disappointing, you're first 8 visits is supposed to be $100 each, now it's not. Plus it takes half hour to be poked and hooked up to the machine
People come out of necessity. I guess it's no different for the miserable people who work here for a paycheck. There was a line at check in. It's a Saturday. There is traffic. I was ONE MINUTE outside of the grace period, when I walked through the front door. Which BTW isn't 15 minutes. It's 10 according to the staff. Yet, they have time to draw out conversations and flirt with donors while they have a line of people waiting. By the time I got the counter, I was 6 minutes outside of the 10 minute grace wind
If I could give 0 stars I would. Scheduled a new donor appointment 3 weeks ago for 12/23 for 4pm. I arrived 15 mins early. I had a few questions asked and was given a snack and water. By 4:05 they were ready to do intake. After having a vein check done, I sat with Brittnae to test my hematocrit and protein levels. They were having a Christmas party that day and Brittnae asked me to give her a second so she could take a picture with her co-workers. Another co-worker told her no get her done and we'll take th
Great place to donate plasma with amazing people that work there. I recommend it ??
I had to waiting allmost a three week to get a appointment and went straight there from work and found out after waiting on the doctor and the Lady at the front Desk asked me twice. What time did I eat? I told her twice and then she went and was talking to the doctors about when I ate!!!!!! but iam still sitting there waiting on the doctor. About 20 mins She could?ve told me herself that I had to eat two hours to 30 before coming in but she talking about me to the doctors like she didn't know this infor
BioLife is a great place. The staff are nice and could use more. Clean place great atmosphere.
I started donating plasma within the last year. The first few places I went to were lacking in cleanliness and professionalism. I then went to Biolofe to donate and was very pleased with the amount of professionalism. The premises is very clean. The staff are always friendly and in a good mood. Also, I have difficult veins. Almost all of the phlebotomists here are able to navigate my rolling veins successfully. It seems like the time it takes to donate is also shorter at this center. Would recom
Very clean facility. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
It took nearly five hours to complete my donation. The worst part was when the phlebotomist improperly inserted the needle in my arm. She said, ? o wow that doesn't look good. It's starting to swell? & then walked away. Five minutes later I had an intense burning sensation and a lot blood starting leaking out of the injection site. I started calling for help and it took them a long time to come take the needle out. Now I have a baseball size bruise on my arm. They stuck me again in the other arm but the dam
BioLife does choose people who they feel to continue to donate. I am trying to finish my 8 donations for my $800 and I get a call saying I'm deferred for 7 days and got to wait an additional 7 days for testing. I been two different donating places and never had this problem. They accused me of being pregnant my last donation which I really felt discriminated against at that point and now get a call about not being able to donate for another 14 days. I really don't understand and the questions you get asked
The staff here are amazing and they do their best to quickly but yet professionally and with care tend to me every step through my donation process. Big shout out to Michayla and May for always getting my entry point right every time??????
Clean facility but don't have many workers so there realll slow??
I made an appointment to do my first donation today. When I showed up, she asked me what I had for breakfast and how long ago I had it I said I had a protein shake with 60 mg of protein, a bowl of oatmeal and some fruit two hours ago. She sent me to get a snack in some office as apparently my breakfast was not good enough. The woman tried to feed me, goldfish crackers, I told her that I cannot have that because I have a gluten intolerance. She then disappeared for 15 minutes and then came back and told me
Beginning of visit was very pleasant, check in blood sampling vitals etc. The young lady who was in the back, sticking me, was RUDE and very unpleasant
Professional life saving experience. Need more hands-on deck. Still maintaining great Professional Standards
I went to the one in Fayetteville NC. Very professional and highly tentative to me
Opening day/open house. It was busy. I expected to be there a while, just not 5 hours. Aside from that, everything went well, and my rating is on the service I recieved & not my time in the building. I was greeted by a wonderful woman, who also made sure I had all the "goodies" prior to leaving. My nurse, Monica, top notch. I let her know that I was hungry (at this point it had been 3hrs) & she hooked me up with a lunchable, chips, and electrolytes. I had Ashley for my donation process, very friendly and ch
Constant turnover with inexperienced phlebotomists ?practicing? how to puncture veins. no men draw blood. the pay is good if your willing to be a test subject. a phlebotomist in training left me butchered with large swollen hematomas, black and blue bruising in both arms. The experienced phlebotomist overseeing the trainee said ?i prolly wasn't hydrated and my veins constantly move.? the millions generated in pharmaceutical sales from plasma is their business model. you're a guinea pig for trainees to gain
I love most of the staff there, they always make me and my husband very comfortable there. They are a great place.
Waste of time. Drove 35 minutes TWICE only to be told both times I couldn't donate. First time was because my iron was low ok?not their fault. So I go back again after getting iron levels up. 2nd time was something that could?ve been avoided if they put information on their website regarding things that need a doctors approval. Not even gonna bother going back as I'm sure they'll find something else wrong the 3rd time. People don't have gas to waste like that. They should really have something on their webs
Unreliable to new donors, gotta book a week in advanced to donate. Plus workers make you wait outside until the nurse gets in.
There should be some place on the website that lets donors know that if your existing tattoos are over any veins that will disqualify you. I had no issues months back donating and I claws told that their policy change.
I want to start by saying that this location seemed very professional and everyone working there was too. But if it's a requirement to eat a full meal 30 min to an hour before donating, I think that should be somewhere on their websites and emails besides one picture on an email, and a website page that makes it seem optional. I've donated whole blood multiple times and I can still donate if I have a snack before hand, even if it's something like a small bag of chips or a granola bar. But I am a little frus
This place literally never answers the phone . They don't return messages .I've called 100 times over the course of a week and that's just recently it's been months I e been waiting to be able to donate because I'm waiting on a doctor there to give the green light from months ago and these folks are so unprofessional they don't care if you call or how many voicemails you leave . I will be reporting this to the BBB this is ridiculous . Been calling since January. I don't drive and am disabled so I can't just
I have been waiting in the chair for over 45 mins now, I get that they were slammed, but my goodness! While others sit down next to me and get hooked up I sit here waiting? I will not come back to this place again!
The experience from beginning to end was extremely professional. Elisabeth did my medical exam and she was super informative and extremely nice. All the nurses on the floor were professional and really did a great job. I will be back.
Amazing experience from start to finish! The nurses are very knowledgeable, friendly and dare I say fun! Music going and smiles everywhere! You're not just a number and it shows!
Freedom pays better after 8 donations.
Absolutely the best place hands down. Been donating for years. This has to be simply the best staff I've ever seen. Near no wait times to donate. I be in and out everytime. Don't be really wanting or needing to donate some days but go just to chill with the staff cause they are so cool. So cuddos to them TiSheba,Brianca ,Liyah,Kyla,Teresa,Mia,Shena. If I missed anyone I'm sorry cause they are the BEST
Miss Michelle this one star is literally five for you. I have been coming to The Center as well as visited others in Fayetteville North Carolina. I am shocked to say that this is one of the newest centers with the most upgraded equipment and the worst customer service you could fathom, unless you are a man as you can see most of the men left five star reviews, probably because they are treated differently. How does a fingerprint change ? the center spent 30 minutes with me because their equipment could not
First time appointment, terrible online instructions, ate a breakfast but wasn't allow to do anything because it was not 30 minutes before the appointment. Guess it's a trial by fire experience if the facility won't tell you what to do prior in specifics, good and respectfully customer service but terrible system
New donors will not recieve the new donor incentive as advertised. I became a new donor on Oct 22. However the center is apparently booked until November 10, which is when a representative just told me they can see me again for my 2nd donation. To receive the incentive, you must donate 8 times within 30 days, which is impossible considering the over booking or lack of staff, or both. I spent 4 hours at this location Saturday to become a new donor. When I mentioned to the rep today about only having thir
Overall it is a good place-Atleast better than another place I been to. The major thing is that too many appointments get booked and sometimes the wait for a bed and to be hooked up is almost an hour after your appointment in the afternoons.
Horrible place techs don't have enough training some have attitudes problems also how are you going to let someone donate plasma 7 times then on the 8th time tell them because of a tattoo they can't donate that sounds like stupidity to me and I'm going to take this as high up the chain as I can.
I had an appointment on the 5th, but I had to cancel because of transportation delays. I've been trying to call and reschedule my appointment for a few days now and nothing. No return phone call whatsoever; even after leaving voicemail after voicemail. This process needs fixing - ASAP!
Lost 500 in doner pay due to equipment or staff. Had max AC and wasn't checked on till the bag was empty ans air in the line so they couldn't return my blood. Had blood in my plasma line and they couldn't return my blood. Deferred for 8 weeks after that losing my new done bonus with 5 donations remaining. Never going back.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
