This place is terrible and how I was treated. My second time here and I was fine I ate, I had water and everything. I was fine till I reached about 600 and something ML. I had to waive someone down because I wasn't feeling good at all. I was throwing up. A younger guy gave me a throw up bag and then the Head guy nurse came along and wanted to take my vitals and all that. How ever the needle was in my left arm along with the cuff on my left shoulder as well. Causing me a lot of pain. I told them several time
Wendy is absolutely wonderful. She is a busy body and always keeps herself busy Ella is absolutely amazing. I try to get her to do my stick every time. I'm here. She's accurate. It is always painless. She really knows what she's doing. These two ladies are the reason I keep coming back.
I ve been coming for a while now, have had a good experience so far. Very friendly atmosphere and some good talk with the workers! Gotten to know a few a little better now. Wendy was the 1st that I ever talked to and ends up being a nice lady each time I see her! Convo is always good. Cam has taken care of me several times, as well as Madi. My experience has been good so far!
It's an amazing place everyone is always friendly and very nice! Biggest reason behind me donating to help other people is because of my daughter and how sick she was!
I just started coming back to biolife after a couple years break and am very happy with my 1st donation since being back. Staff was caring and made sure that I was going to be comfortable with the new equipment considering it does run faster and my veins can sometimes get a little shaky when rushed. I was helped by both Rose and I believe Skylee (I hope that's right, along with the spelling) who were both great! Also, thank you Rose for the squishy! ??
If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I have been coming here for over a month now and I have been donating plasma the entire time. I drive 50 minutes from Kenton and today I'm told I can't donate anymore because of my tattoos. Well it's the same tattoos I've had for 20 years so why was I allowed to in the first place. I don't have any new tattoos. I think Sofia had a power trip because it doesn't make any since that I have been doing this 10 times then all of a sudden I can't. This place is slow at
Staff is very friendly, they get you in and out pretty quickly. The paper towel dispenser in the men's bathroom has been broken for literally years and has yet to be fixed. That is my only real complaint.
The staff was wonderful and made me feel very comfortable. I donated plasma for the first time and was nervous. They explained everything from the very start.
BioLife has been easy to work with, the app is easy to schedule, the people are great to answer questions and help you understand the whole process. This was my first time donating and I couldn't have felt more at ease. The Findlay location was a great host and very personable and made me feel super comfortable.
Amazing staff, very professional and kind. Always recommend it to my friends. Clean place and fast service. Very caring people
I have been using Findlay BioLife for about 13 months and during that time, I have noticed a few employees who go above and beyond in the performance of their work duties. Those employees are Allison and Kayla. They are not only personable and very professional, but are also extremely good at all aspects of the plasma donating process. They are knowledgeable when answering questions about the process. In talking with them, it is easy to recognize that they take their work seriously. I am not sure if t
The staff is great! Always enjoy seeing their smiling faces each visit! A shoutout to Wendy for the quick check-in process!
Wendy is outstanding. She's friendly with all customers and fast. All the employees are very professional and caring. I've been coming here since 2008. The facility is always clean.
Turned me away because i didnt eat exactly what they told me. Cost me two hours of my time when I'm already broke. Meanwhile it looks like nothing but unhealthy people donating. Wouldnt want that in my body. Glad i didnt. Sell my body to this place
Great employees. Interactions are friendly. In and out with just a couple of pokes. Been donating at the Findlay BioLife for years. Come on in and save a few lives.
I had a great first experience, but the last time I tried to donate, my pulse was 102 electronically. The limit is 100. I requested that my pulse be taken manually, and no one there even knew how! That's just basic training, even for first aid or cpr classes. They literally turned me away when all my other labs were within requirements. It was the third time in a week I had tried, because the first two my hematocrit was too low. At least that reason I understand, but when they make it so you can't donate fo
I have been going to Biolife for about 18 years now. Here recently I have not been pleased with the way they've been running their business. I did a full donation yesterday and my payment still hasn't posted. I have been in to address this problem and I am over it. There is a reason why people don't donate regularly. It's not like it used to be. Now it's not worth the time to go
I've been every week donor since February of 2024 and I love it!! The staff really do make everything feel so safe and comfortable. Everyone is very easy going and answers any and all questions! The manager Ryan is absolutely AMAZING! He's so gentle when it comes to getting you hooked up. About a month ago there was a severe thunderstorm, the staff and Ryan were so calm and could not have made everything more smoother and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend working arm and arm with this plasma team!
Love donating plasma. It's healthy for you and you get to help out other people. And you get paid for your time as well. The facility and staff are always nice and make the experience fun.
I've been going here for quite awhile now and the staff here is amazing. Everyone is like a whole big family
They have a good staff and get you in and out very quickly. You barely feel the stick.
Good place happy to see all the smiling faces very nice people I Love all the workers best people are Ella and Wendy.
I never donated plasma before, but the staff were extremely courteous to the fact that I was incredibly nervous, and they were all so kind. Definitely recommend this place for people who want to get paid to make a difference :)
Every employee was amazing and made my first time donating wonderful and explained everything that was happening to what to expect! From the time I entered till the time I left I was taken care of!
All the staff is very friendly, they do their best not to hurt you when they poke you
Everytime I go to BioLife in findlay Ohio, Which has only been twice. The nurses are absolutely top notch. My first time the nurse stayed through 2 cycles, made sure I was comfortable. And very detailed in how the process goes. My second time was just as good. Very good nurse. And first question was how did you feel after your first donation. I wish I knew about donating sooner. It feels good to help the lives of others. And even make a little extra money doing it. The process itself is painles
This is an amazing place with great employees who make the entire experience quick and easy
The staff there are great, but please, will someone go prune the rose bushes there? (dead-heading during growing season, too) They could be so beautiful, but instead, they are disfigured and make it look like a "ghetto" center.
This place makes soo much money from the donations and pays horrible for the the permanent damage i.e. scar tissue and collapsed veins, blown out veins excetrah
Great, friendly staff. Ryan did a fantastic job.
Very nice place! Sky and Alexis are the absolute Best! They are both very friendly, outgoing, and both do Awesome while you are there to donate. No body likes to get needle pokes, but with these two ladies, you don't even realize that you just got a poke.
Mitra was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!
Easy way to make extra money and help others out. Friendly staff and nearly painless.
Wendy is always friendly and makes the check in process easy. Skylee and Ella are my go to when it comes to the donating process. They both are always so friendly and do such a great job. They always make sure I'm comfortable the entire visit.
Great way to help people and make some quick money. My only issue with the place is that I have thin veins, so whenever they hire new people I end up getting hematomas and I have to stop going for a while until they have more experience. Besides that, it's a solid practice and I appreciate their work
I have yet to experience a bad time here in any way. My arm can be a tricky stick so I usually request Skylee and she succeeds everytime
Madi is very nice. She is easy to talk with when I have question. Cam is also very polite
I had a good experience last time at Findlay Ohio center I had Kate and Casey both were great!
It was my very first donation at the Findlay Ohio location. Everyone there was wonderful. Ella who performed the procedure was super professional and made me feel comfortable about the procedure. I highly recommend this if your looking for some quick cash and it helps people too! Great Experience ??
I have a higher resting heart rate and then when I go in to donate it spikes even higher. I travel too far to get denied.
I absolutely love the staff. They are all so kind. Sometimes they're extremely busy, but that's not -necessarily their fault.
Wendy is one of the sweetest biolife employees ever! She always asks how my day is, she is so kind and thoughtful! She is also very good at her job, super efficient, speedy, and always doing something to stay busy! I donate to save lives but also for the money, which should be more than what it is.
I've been donating for awhile now and I have grown to love the people. They do a great job of taking care of you and are Super friendly with always a smile. Some days are longer than others but it's worth knowing that you save a life with a simple donation of your plasma. It's just a bonus that you get paid for it ????
It's good knowing I go there to help save lives not for money and seems the staff of BioLife are doing the same they always make you feel welcomed and always make sure you as a patient are as comfortable as possible in your experience to save a life that's what matters and counts
Awesome staff! Most days when they aren't super busy I'm in and out in an hour. Smoothest process I've ever been thru. If you're gonna donate plasma this is the place to go!!
Get rid of all your last hour appointments if you're gonna lock the doors early deny people in the last minutes and have a shitty attitude close earlier. I hate hauling ass across town after work just for them to shoo me away from my 7 appointment when I'm inside before then. Thank you for wasting my time yet again
The staff is very professional and I conversated with a person that has been donating at the Findlay Ohio location since it opened
For the most part the staff are great. I partially completed my 4th and probably final donation yesterday. Because of a tech, I now can't donate for 8 weeks. He said I have a hemotoma (which I don't) and he couldn't put my blood back (he had pulled the needle out of my vein but not my arm). I am highly irritated that he automatically said I couldn't donate and eluded to it being my fault. Edit: I received a voicemail from someone at the site. I called back within a few minutes and left a voicemail. I have
All the employees are super friendly and it's always nice to talk to everyone 10/10 would recommend
I always appreciate it when Abigale, Wendy, and Ella is working. They are always so cheerful, professional, kind, and laid back. They always are willing to explain anything that doesn't make sense. I always leave in a positive attitude when I leave. Thank you for your service. People like that is why I keep coming back!
I've gave my 6th donation today. Four out of the six have gone smoothly. Last week I got a hematoma in my left arm, today another guy missed and they had to use my other arm, the one with a hematoma. The very first visit I had Sky, she is great and knows her job, I've had one other lady and she did a fine job too.. Forgive me I did not catch her name. When today went south, I KNEW I should have requested Sky, just as I did last Saturday. Well sky came to the rescue even thought she had to take the needle ou
BioLife in Findlay has a really good atmosphere and very friendly staff, place is well kept up and maintained. Wendy up front has always been very accurate with her job duties while maintaining a positive attitude! Love coming through here to donate and to see the staff!
I always appreciate it when Abby and Kate are working. They are always so cheerful, professional, kind, and pretty cool, great to Hava a conversation with Thank you for your girl's service. People like that is why I keep coming back!
Nice, clean and friendly staff. I have huge veins, so it's never a problem to find mine. Only had 1 mishap, the machine messed up while mid-donation, they let me know what was happening and even paid me for the full donation. I donate twice a week to get that bonus money. Ohh! They have a point system...even more free stuff!
Will find any and every reason to defer you. Not sure how you're saving lives deferring people left and right. Tried to call 3 times prior to my appointment with no answer so I drove 45 minutes for nothing.
I just want to say thank you. BioLife has always helped me so much, especially in very tough times. The workers make me feel comfortable, and at home. I will be consistent and pay it forward for the people in need. ??
Shouts out my guys Kate, Shayna, and Kasie! 10/10 will donate again!
Biolife sucks this location is bad and not professional wouldn't recommend coming here
Everyone is always nice and efficient. It's always a relaxing place when I'm there. Thank you Skylar for your kindness today you made everything go so smoothly
This place is AMAZING! Staff is always quick and courteous and I absolutely love my visits. Will definitely be back!
Preston does such a great job getting to know his patients that he is working with. It is always a pleasure getting to work with him. Also, everyone is always so friendly and easy to talk to.
The establishment is very clean and has a warm an open feeling. A few of the staff are very polite and make the visit comfortable. Mandy is one of the friendliest I've encountered. Matthew is the most humble I've encountered. Salute!!!!!
The staff is always smiling. Everyone knows there job. Preston is always great at his job and loves to tell jokes to get co workers laughing. Elle is on top of her game. Kayla is on the move at all times. I love my time at biolife thank you
The staff is nice but there are too few of them. It will take about 30 minutes after check in before you can start your donation. If you go plan on a wait.
The employees at BioLife are so nice ?. I really enjoy Wendy out front, she is so sweet, nice, and kind? she makes me laugh every time I'm at her pod and let's just talk about how fast and efficient she is at her job? she is speedy and so good at what she does, she gets things done super fast all the time. She makes my day better when I see her on the days I donate. Thanks Wendy for being you! You're great!
Absolutely slooow!!! I didn't get sat down to donate until an hour after my scheduled time to donate. Luckily I didn't have anything going on. But if you do make sure you plan accordingly.
Shayna, Skylee and the rest of the staff were kind, informative and detailed. Donation was smooth and easy. Will definitely recommend this location and business over others.
All the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is very clean. The hours are great! They get you in and out in no time. The more water you drink before you come the faster your visit. Highly recommend.
The Guy (I can't remember his name lol ??) was very nice, started a conversation with me while hooking me up to the machine, actually every person I've had take care of me has been very respectful and the facility is sanitary and follows all the procedures to keep it A clean environment as well as a fast experience
Overall good experience every time I go. Sometimes it can be busy and take a bit longer than expected, so plan accordingly. Drink your water and eat something nonfatty before.
They have the best staff! the facility is clean they try to get you in and out as quickly as possible!! wendy is my favorite she's fast and knows her job well and very courteous! The management is amazing as well! And we can't forget about the wonderful nurses!! I've been donating plasma for over 10 years it feels rewarding!!
The wait times and donation times have been so much better. Skylee is gentle when sticking the needle in and is very personable when hooking everything up
Clinic is great, workers are great, only thing Iv noticed is kinda gross they put the paper towels on the counter in the bathroom I have seen blood on the paper towels I assume from peoples finger sticks so that's pretty gross.
Most of the staff is very friendly & helpful. I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 star because the last time I went to donate, I was scheduled for 4pm on a Saturday. Me and another girl arrived at 4:02 & the doors were locked. I was under the impression there was a 5 minute leeway. Anyways a girl came to the door and very rudely stated they closed at 4:00pm & locked the doors at 4:01 precisely!! ?Sorry? she says again rudely then slammed the door shut. I understand it's my fault for being two minutes late but
Drove an hour there because someone told me I could use a certain document as a form of ID, then was told that I couldn't use it once I got there. 2 hours of driving for nothing because I was given false information
Saturday is a good day to go, great staff, quick and easy. Drink water lots of water, plasma is 90 percent water 10 percent protein. If you dont drink water its slow for ya.
I was nervous on my first visit. I expressed this to Danielle. She was so understanding! I honestly really liked everyone there, I am just horrible renembering names. Everyone was friendly and I stopped being nervous. I really recommend this facility to anyone who wants to donate. So glad that I finally worked up my courage to go!
For many times I have donated plasma to this center they never disappoint me! They are always clean and organized. The staff like Paul, Doug, Hailey, Alyson and Alexis are kind, they are clear on the process and attentive to me and everyone around me! Highly recommend going here to donate!
Love the people.... great service
Everyone is always so nice, every visit. Even when they're really busy, they never show how stressed they may be or overwhelmed. I know I would be! But they're always pleasant and kind. They make the donation process so easy. Really great people.
I've been donating for 3 years now, and I have never regretted starting. They made it fun and easy from the beginning (I'd never donated anywhere before). Staff is kind and always remembers my name, so makes it feel more then just a donation when I go. Even when things are crazy, they are always polite and I don't feel rushed. I've had issues with the app/being paid once before, but once they were aware of the problem, they were quick to fix it.
The environment is always great! Everyone is always smiling and treats me with respect. Amber and Skylee are the best.
I always like wen Raven and kate and Shanna are working they are always friendly and kind and make me feel comfortable. I love how they are with ppl.
This location is my favorite to donate at. Kayla and Sky as well as all the other phlebotomists that work here are truly amazing and make sure the donors are comfortable and taken care of.
I've been coming to this place since 2003 and it's been awesome since day 1. The staff is second to none and the friendships you develop with them is top notch!!! Charles E Hutchen III
This center is fantastic!! Everyone here is polite and professional, with the goal of your comfort and safety being priority. The facility is always clean and welcoming as are every employee you come in contact with. Huge shout out to Cheyenne, Julie and everyone else, you're all awesome!!!
I have been going for a few years and mostly great experience. The staff is always friendly and makes my day. It's easy cash for 2 hours. Rayven is always great up front
Great service always greeted by name. Wendy and Abbigale at the desk are fast and friendly. Ella and Skylee in the back are best at what they do!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
