Reviews Summary

The reviews show a mixed but generally positive experience, with many praising the friendly, knowledgeable staff and clean facilities. High ratings (5 stars) dominate, highlighting smooth processes and excellent customer service, especially for first-time donors. However, several 1-2 star reviews cite issues with rude staff, payment/coupon problems, inconsistent phlebotomy skills, long wait times, and unfair compensation practices. Negative experiences often involve specific incidents of poor communication, unprofessional behavior, or technical difficulties during donations. While many donors are loyal and satisfied, recurring complaints suggest room for improvement in staff training, fairness in payments, and appointment availability.

I was at Biolife on 3/31/25 donating I was there for two hours the guy missed the vain so he had to call somebody else waiting for a while. 10 minutes 20 minutes. I don't remember she can move it. It was just a mess now my arm is messed up. I can't believe I was there for two hours and didn't get extra money something to drink Nothing and that was my third donation I just started

This one is for you Ashley! The staff there are awesome and make donating a pleasant experience. They always listen to you and do everything they can to make it the best experience possible. I definitely recommend this location for anyone who's willing or interested in donating

Great place. The staff is very nice, professional, but able to crack jokes to help u feel more comfortable. I've been donating for almost 3 years and can say I only had 1 bad donation the entire time. If you want to do something for others, and get compensated for your time, biolife is the way to go, especially if u go to Biolife Fond Du Lac.

It's very annoying that the amount for donating varies so much. It costs me $10 per donation in gas to drive there and back, so about $20 per week in gas. For a couple weeks I was getting $120 which was cool but this week the offer was $110 so it's really hard to justify the time of work and the 3 hours time it takes to drive and donate. Also my daughter was only being offered $100?!?! So why is it different for different people???!!! Consistency on your part is key to getting me to donate consistently!!

I was there for 3 hrs today starting the process of donating and it didn't feel like it. It's a little bit of a process, which is totally understandable, considering they are dealing with blood. They were very nice and accommodating. Excited to be able to help people. Keep up the good work. Proud to be part of the team.

Everyone is super kind and friendly throughout the whole process. After the first visit, it will be a shorter time to get and be out. Helping people with plasma, renewable naturally for most people is helping change 2 people for every donation ??

It's usually a good experience, but today was not. The machine was going so slow. Three different people kept rearranging the needle, which was pretty painful. They finally switched arms and went through two more people stabbing at me. Now they want me to sit here in the waiting room for another 30 minutes because I didn't get a tablespoon of cells back. I think this was my last time

Very friendly. When I first went to donate, my pulse was too high and I wasn't allowed to donate. I was bummed but knew it wasn't their fault. Went in the next day to try again, and my pulse was within the accepted range. Staff remembered me and shared my excitement when they saw me advance through to the physical. While I was donating for the first time, several staff members came up to me to check on how I was doing. They were very thorough at explaining the process, every step of the way. Building was ve

I will never understand their payment methods. I have been donating for almost 20 years, almost 1700 total donations and it seems like the amount keeps shrinking. Why not reward your long term donors with some sort of an incentive? Instead you throw your dollars at new donors who will reap the extra pay over the first month and then disappear until the next ?we missed? bonus comes out. My wife needs the medicine derived from the plasma for her infusions so I will always donate no matter what, but seriously?

The donating went off without an issue. But as you know, staff shortages made the wait to get unhooked was long. I am always patient with the flobotomists but I feel bad for them

Worst place to go. Won't honor coupons, dont inform you what u make till back in the chair STAFF IS SOOO RUDE. go to oshkosh or somewhere else this place is a joke how does a business not honor something. What a scam

Great experience today. This was my First time donating. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. Keep doing what you're doing. Thank you. EJZ.

Check in and screening went smoothly. But once I got to the red section, the tech was working on setting up the machine and he kept saying" oh my God". He went back and forth to unoccupied machines for the next 17 minutes. He needs more training and it was terrifying to have him stick that ne edle in my arm almost 20minutes after I sat in the chair. This is the second time I've been concerned about the phlebotomists abilities. When he did the 1 min scrub of the site the swab bearly touches the target area

The staff is very professional, caring and supportive to every donor. I also like the fact that they are accredited and follow their policies and procedures very well.

I love donating and that we get compensated for it. But I don't agree with all the pay jumps some people make more or less even. Not fair for the donors who been donating for years. Then when you ask no one knows why everyone pay different. Then I send emails to get a response no answer.

Staff is very helpful and always great you with a smile. If you have a question always ready to answer.

Upon entering the building, I feel some staff could be nicer. There is a scoul on her face and she can be a bit snippy. Fingerprint scanners should be cleaned more often.

Staff is respectful and friendly. Able to get in and out for a regular donation within an hour.

I donated years ago through a different company in a different city and was very dissatisfied so I stopped donating. Fast forward 2 years new do action center and staff and what a difference. Very prompt and professional service. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. I've found my new home for donations.

Everyone was so friendly. Very communicative, explained everything along the way.

The Sheboygan location is doing something right. It is refreshing to see a team work together, and helping one another out.

Update: With the holidays passed, there is no wait time again. I was never contacted, and they weren't able to find the balance between being overbooked or unavailable. I still feel the base payments need to increase with inflation and COL rising.

BioLife in Fondulac is fantastic. Facitity is spotless. Their check in process is very efficient. Staff are friendly and know many of their regulars by name. They are professional and care about their work, making things as comfortable as possible for donors.

This place is absolutely unorganized and the people here are rude. I've been donating for 3-4 years now and I just recently moved to Fond Du Lac and decided to come here from Oshkosh. Biggest mistake I made. People are rude, the workers lack the knowledge of what they are doing and they always have a crappy attitudes. I've talked with people who go there and they say the same thing. I will be going to Oshkosh from now on since the people there are super friendly and you can have a conversation with them and

Great friendly interment. Why not get paid to help people. It's a Win-Win!

This was my first visit after over 10 years. The person who checked me in wanted to walk away with my driver?s license?not to merely photocopy it, as is common, but to place it on a counter for the next person. My license would have been out of my possession and out of my sight for over 5 minutes, had I not insisted on holding on to it. I had to go over all of the information I'd *just* submitted when I signed up for this initial appointment. Apparently, even though the system could connect the 2024 ?me? t

The staff at BioLife in Fond du Lac are always so positive and caring! Would greatly recommend! Thank you for the difference you make.

I go here twice a week for the past 5 months and highly recommend going here if your interested in donating it is very clean little to no wait time and amazing staff everyone is incredibly nice and very helpful and good at their job too

I always usually have a good experience, but this time around was not so good. Had a good staff member find my vein and the machine was working great. Then the machine shut off the second cycle. The staff members then moved the needle and I had gotten a hematoma. They had switched arms and right away missed my vein and I got another hematoma. I was unable to have my cells returned and now I cannot go back for 8 weeks. I am very upset because that is part of my monthly income and I can't help save lives. Non

The staff at the Fond du Lac location are always friendly and easy to make conversations with throughout your time there. Some days your in and out with in an hour others may take longer due to everyone showing up at the same time. Very far and few between have I had a bad experience at this location. Keep up the amazing work FDL crew!!

My experience as a new donor was amazing, Carmen did an amazing job, also so did the man who did my physical. Everyone did an amazing job over all, super friendly and everyone has a sense of humor!

I was very impressed with the sincere and genuine care and concern for myself as a client. The level of professionalism and courtesy was much appreciated, from the water and snacks provided, to the comfort level of my actual plasma donating process. I will definitely be revisiting this facility, which I must add, is one of the cleanest facilities I have been inside of. I look forward to doing my part in helping others in any way I can. Respectfully, Reuben Villagomez United States Army Disabled Veteran

I am a problem child stick, lots of scar tissue at stick point. Pam has a regular success rate with my stick and am grateful for her professionalism and friendly disposition in all my visits there.

A lady named Shelly was very rude and very disrespectful.

My experience with BioLife in Fond Du Lac,WI is always a positive one. The best part of the donation experience is the excellent caring staff at the Fond Du Lac center. My last donation on Thursday, March 28, 2024 was excellent because my phlebotomist Ashley C. is awesome! She is caring, kind, professional, knowledgeable and very personable and it's always a great experience when Ashley C. is the one who helps me. Keep up the fantastic work!

Most of the employees there im sure are fine but the few tyranical karens stick out. Never going back here on a wedsday morning. They are unbelievably rude.

The whole staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly, the facility is very clean too. I will be returning soon!

The Fond du Lac center is amazing...the staff are always friendly and make you feel "at home". Sometimes you have to expect to wait if it is a busy time but it goes quickly. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK FONDY!

BioLife has outstanding customer service. I'm fairly new, but every time I've been in to donate I'm impressed with not only how well organized they are, but with the level of focus to getting people in and out in a safe, comfortable, and timely fashion. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working people at BioLife in my opinion and experience. My first time donating I got a little sick and the staff were so great. They knew what to do and say to make me feel at ease and feeling better in a short time. Th

I would have given this place 5 stars about a month ago, since I had A+ experiences with every employee I encountered before that time. This brings me to my one star, rating reasoning and complaint. There is a new employee there that is about 3 feet tall. It is a female with a chip on her shoulder and seems to hate men she yells at me every time I go in which makes me anxious, which makes my heart rate high, which makes me not able to donate, she reminds me of a nun I had in elementary school that would abu

Last visit they missed attempts on both arms and I wasn't paid. When i asked multiple people on 2 separate visits no one could tell me why. I have not gone back since

I have donated in several BioLife facilities but will always choose Oshkosh when I can. The staff is wonderful. Wait times are minimal. Donating is comfortable in such a caring environment. I would encourage anyone considering donation to find their way to Oshkosh!

Really disappointed in my experience since returning as a donor. Terrible customer service. Earlier today I came in to my appointment, I was running late but still made it within the five minutes grace period, unfortunately it was busy and nobody was able to help me at the front desk for a few minutes, then I was sent to the longer line, totally okay as I plan to wait, what wasn't okay is after getting to a computer (11 minutes past my appointment time) to go through my questionnaire it told me I didn't hav

Not allowed first time donor rewards bc I donated 1 time 17 years prior. Not allowed to help my friend who referred me get incentives bc I donated 1 time prior. Needle was placed incorrectly and blood was spilling everywhere. Decided to discontinue donation, and now I get texts and emails everyday to come back. Pics on request

Everyone in the facility was super nice and understanding of me being new and they were very welcoming.

I have been a donor for several years. I used to go all the time and now I've been going less and less. The experience has been consistently getting worse. The place has become over crowded and under staffed. It now very hard to get an appointment. This is to be expected when they start offering more money but the employees are now becoming inconsiderate. Most of the time now the place makes you feel more like a farm animal then a person and they don't care. I got turned away today because I was less then a

Just got done with my first time donating at the Fon Du Lac location. Everyone was so friendly! I'll definitely be back soon!

Today was my first time going to donate plasma. Despite ending up being denied, I have to say everyone was so amazing! Amy was an absolute sweetheart and walked me through the beginning process. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me. She did her job excellently and you can definitely tell she appreciates the donors.

I enjoy the employees and the atmosphere everyone is really nice.... BUT as of the last 3 or four weeks I can barely get one donation scheduled because they're constantly fully booked. They have promotions if you donate twice a week but I think it's kind of BS because you can't really get a second donation in. Even if you check the app and call constantly. Plus a lot of the time they don't pick up the phone. This doesn't seem to be an issue anywhere else. I have nothing against them I just wish getting an a

Staff was very kind and helpful. As a new donor, I didn't know what to expect, but they walked me through step by step and eased my concerns.

Great experience with BioLife in Fond Du Lac,WI. Visits have always been positive. The staff is caring, kind, professional, knowledgeable and very personable. Last donation was March 21, 2024.

Horrible customer service. Feels like a plasma mill. Get you in and get you out, without caring one bit about your comfort. I used to love going here, now I get so annoyed at hurrying up and waiting. Plus if you need to call and actually talk to somebody, it's impossible. I called 13 times in 2 days and left multiple voice-mails. I hate how they make you feel here.

Everyone was so friendly and made my first time smooth and easy!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable people here, I had a great time for my first visit and as long as the experience stays the same, I do intend to visit many more times.

I always go to the Fon du lac center and the staff there is always friendly and proficient. they make you fee welcome and comfortable

Waited over an hour to even get to the computer questions. Waited additional 10minutes at the computer. Asked to go to the bathroom ( yes I went before my appointment but I stay hydrated because your are suppose to for donations and I had to go again after an hour of waiting) and to grab a blanket. Was told ok then when I came back I was told I could no longer donate because I left the building to grab a blanket. So short story waited over an hour to be told I couldn't donate. Waste of my time!!! Then I res

This location operates differently than other locations that I have been to. Came to this location a couple of times because my usual location seems to run out of time slots quickly. On my third visit, I did my normal routine checking in at kiosk and was attacked by bulldog named Amy behind counter stating I needed to wait to be checked in. I asked if this was something new because the times previous that I made visits it was not required. Amy stated that they always check people in. Listen, I don't mi

Everyone was knowledgeable and very friendly. They were prompt, even though I was early.. The facility was clean.

Very few people can actually hit my vein without causing issues. When I first started coming I dreaded getting the deer in headlights look and the ?oops? or ?let me grab the supervisor? after screwing up. Since having blown up arms, having to get stuck in both arms, having to end early because of how the needle is positioned, fishing the needle around in my arm, etc. I have been requesting specific phlebotomists on and off. Never had an issue with the 6 or so people that hit my vein without an issue. Now I

The staff where very nice and help full for my first donation

The Fond du Lac location has an incredible staff. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and welcoming. Sam was quick to see when I was having a reaction and immediately resolved it. Everyone was very professional and kind.

Usually have good experiences here. But lately the staff have been ungodly rude. A little person named Amy is the worst offender. Constantly rude and very short tempered. May be the final draw to moving to a different center.

I am a donor. I would NOT recommend donating at these facilities. For One, their employees that are handling you have NO medical experience what so ever except for a nurse whose only job is to go over with you your results from the tests the unqualified incompetent staff they have administer to you. Then they have these policies supposively instated by the government which if you have even the slightest inclination of the medical field understand that much of this is nonsense. Again this is all for your own

I've been going here off and on since 2011. The facility is always super clean, the staff are always super friendly and it's an easy way to make extra money to just have fun with, especially in the summer. They always have specials going on. If you've never gone it might seem a little scary but it's really no worse than getting a shot, you don't really feel anything after the initial poke. Free wifi, so you can pretty much just sit there and look at memes for an hour and get paid for it lol.

First time donor and had amazing experience and service. Great job Alyssa and Stella!

Every time I have donated the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and places high importance on making the entire donation process as pleasant as possible. The staff is comfortable communicating with each other and requesting assistance when needed. I have complete confidence in the capabilities of the staff.

Was my first time donating plasma!! Everything went very smoothly! Great staff! Answered all the questions i had!! Thankful I'm able to help out in this way and get paid for it!

Been donating at this facility for 2 years and have always been treated great by the staff. I made some friends, extra money, and saved lives in the process. Holidays can be a little hectic so schedule early. They have a useful app for that in the Play Store too.

Just went there today in order to donate on an amazing new coupon for returning donors to get 400$ over 2 donations... I provided the coupon before I began my donation just like the coupon said, the nice lady told me that a manager would apply it before I was done donating. I get done with my donation realize that the coupon isn't on my app and I was paid 20$. I thought that was really weird, so I asked to speak to a manager, the manager eventually came over, told me it was a glitch in their system and the

I have had satisfactory experiences from most of the people here, but I wish their app worked better. I have had multiple problems where my appointment was randomly cancelled and I did not do it myself. I have taken screenshots to prove I had the appointments, but was turned away when I went to the location and explained what was happening.

I began donating at this center in February 2018. Pros: Staff has been very courteous; the collection process goes smoothly; the center is kept very clean. Cons: Bathrooms are small, with 2 stalls/1 sink (donors are usually very well hydrated...); because they keep it very cool in the center, in colder months the saline is (quite literally) painfully cold. Hopefully they'll be energy frugal in the summer, too, and then it won't be so bad! Overall, I would definitely recommend this center.

Good facility and very nice and experienced workers! Wish the incentive would stay consistent instead of trying to lower it all the time for those who are active and consistent donors.

The staff are amazing! They are very friendly and make you feel at ease. They are great at what they do and you can tell that they enjoy it.

Been donating for about a year and a half. Everyone has always been fantastic!! Today the section I was in was super busy. Three people who sat down AFTER me where hooked up BEFORE me. When I asked a girl in my section, Holly how they know who sits down first she says they try and ?remember? she then walks away to chit chat with employees who are in the room where they turn in the plasma. Holly then proceeds to come attend to ALL customers in my section except me walking around with smirk on her face the wh

Staff were amazing. Super nice and great at explaining things my first time here!

I've been donating here for several years, and I have always enjoyed my experience. They are very knowledgeable and accommodating, and the staff take their jobs seriously. The climate is always pleasent, and work areas clean. They also offer in house childcare while you donate.

Staff is great and friendly I'm glad I can donate to help save a life

The individuals doing the screenings are always rude and act like they don't want to be there. My husband was 10 minutes late because he got a flat tire on the way there and they would not make an exception even though they had no line or wait for screening! I get rules are there for a reason but sometimes life needs to be taken into account as well!!

Staff is always friendly. Facility is always clean. I go twice a week and I'm in & out in about an hour or less! My blood money is my fun money! It can add up fast.

Great facility and very professional extra cash is good but also your helping people with health issues.

First timer today, they make it very easy and were super friendly

Staff is nice, center is clean. Donor bathrooms could use a little sprucing up, maybe new toilet seats. Otherwise it is good. Always new faces which can be a little scary when coming in as a donor. Might work on keeping your staff.??

Staff is extremely nice and helps you figure out everything for your first time.

Don't go there they use dirty needles

Very friendly. Very helpful. Will talk you through the whole process and manage to smile ! Very clean. Childcare workers seem very responsible and nice. Process very quick for some but slower for others. Hey! Atleast you won't have to find a sitter for kids if it takes you a bit longer! Love BioLife atmosphere!

Nicole is the best....its difficult when the workers are inexperienced and leave you black and blue...to no fault of your own. They should let you chose who puts the needle in your arm...especially if you have had problems. Staff is very friendly...but some supervisors are more concerned with their rules than the donors experience.

Been Donating here at this place for about 13 years, and I always have a good experience, all staff are super friendly, & they usually pay pretty well...!!!

Staff are easy to talk to and really care about your well-being. Most times in and out within an hour. Only had a few issues throughout all the years of donating.
