It's fine that I and those who donate helps others, but the donation amount has not changed in years and I use to go to another donation center outside of WI and they not only offer more compensation per donation and bonuses for consecutive donations , but provided a snack and drink after each donation. Even without the snack and drink. If donation was between $60-100 each time. I believe more people including me would donate and on a consistent basis, plus referrals.
This is such a pleasant place to donate plasma! It would be nice to have 1 closer to my area! I live in Menominee Michigan. But it's always a wonderful drive, and I can get away for a few hours! My first time was Wednesday I was well hydrated, it took all of 23 min to donate. The 1st day was a bit of a process, definitely well worth it though! Thank you Biolife team!??
Nice facility with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They made my first plasma donation easy, relaxing and fun. They were all happy to answer any questions I had and made sure I was ok throughout the whole process.
I would re commit to doing this twice a week if you could pay $130. I just can't justify my time anymore at $100 a week. I do love helping others but with higher food costs for quality proteins and lower biolife contributions, I just can't justify it any longer. It also makes a person feel drained and fatigued.
Bruised both arms at last donation, 1 badly. Couldn't donate for last 3 times because of bruising. I'll come back, but have to wait until pain and bruising go away.
My last donation was great! The staff is always friendly and professional making the experience enjoyable and rewarding.
Staff members and managers treat customers poor. If you voice any concerns about their service, they will retaliate and ban you for behavior.
They are a Smooth Running Blood Milking Machine. Staff is friendly, professional and attentive.
Last time I went to the one on finger road, I had a young girl named Riley setting me up.i believe she was new as the manager walked her through some of the steps. At first I wasn't sure about her but she ended up being absolutely amazing and very patient and sweet. Great experience and A++ for Riley.
I'm so aggravated that today was my first donation after my promotion and all I got was $40. Totally not worth my time not ever telling anyone to become a new donated! I may or may not ever return! What a waste of time
The appointments need to be adjusted to the staff you have in the center so they can handle the donors coming in. Just because it's set up to be able to book XX amount of donors every 5 minutes, doesn't mean you should. Donors should not have to wait a half hour+ in the check in line and another half hour+ in the line waiting for a bed to donate. This can be managed better.
Very long wait times plus I feel as an older person that I am being discriminated against because of the extra procedures they put me through to locate a vein and it's all because the employees probably 85% don't know what they are doing I have no problems with 2 or 3 of them I understand that they probably do hire people who can't be hired in the medical field because of their incapable but they should hire more qualified people
Technicians are professional and friendly. Facility is clean and move donors through donation as quickly as possible.
Any sort of bad health, they defer you for 8 weeks. 1 times in 10 donations approximately is how it seems. They want donors but can't seem to adjust for the community. I do understand there are rules and regulations. But some people don't do this because they want too, some people are doing this because they need money. In my opinion, yall need to do better....
I went in on a Saturday for a scheduled appointment. There was one nurse working. I had to do the initial physical for my first visit. After completing the physical, I sat there for 2 hours waiting to donate. Due to other commitments, I had to leave before I could donate. When I notified the nurse of this, she was audibly annoyed with me. She's annoyed? I gave 3 hours of my time and received nothing. She assured me that I would not have to do another physical to donate when I made an appointment in the fol
I usually always have a good experience at Biolife. I donate twice a week for almost 3 years now and I'm for the most part only there for an hour or less. Everyone is willing to answer questions you might have and solve any problems that might arise. I enjoy the short but pleasant conversations that I have with everyone working as they are usually very busy but willing to lend an ear if you have something to say. But in the end I'm glad that I can help someone else who needs plasma that can't make it the
Super friendly staff. Very clean facility. Id recommend anyone to donate here
Great atmosphere, use of kiosk is a breeze, and hands down staff is wonderful ??
Ive gone multiple times and I've never had an issue, after this last time I don't know if I'll be back. I know the risks of going but I received a hematoma in both arms. The first needle (on my right arm) was inserted wrong to begin with. When I would try to pump nothing would go through. Another phlebotomist came over and had to readjust the needle while in my arm two separate times until it worked. Everything was fine until I hit the return cycle and my arm started getting very uncomfortable. I look down
Great people just feel like a little underpaid
Very clean facility. Very friendly staff. I love talking with them all, Byron is my favorite.
Mediocre customer service. Never had an issue with those who did the screening but everything else was a hit or miss depending on who was working that day, which is unprofessional. I had an issue with a code on their app and was dismissed the first time I brought it up, was told it would update eventually and nobody looked into it. The second time I brought it up the lady who ?helped me? had an accusatory tone, made it seem like it was my fault for not updating the code even though I told her this wasn't my
Much better than the facility on finger road and the people are more friendly but there's one of the people working there named Cindy they need to get rid of. I've never seen someone so slow. She just seems to putz around.
I really enjoy a lot of the staff there, majority of their names I am unsure but Asija was super nice and easy to talk to. She was also on top of things. Thorough, friendly, professional. She's a great addition to the Green Bay Center AND Wisconsin.
The teamwork I experience & observe at Green Bay Isbell location is very evident throughout my donation time. There is a teamwork vibe that continues from the time I walk into the facility until the time I complete my donation & leave. Brie, Haley, Shannon, Gracie, & Alyiah all make me feel as if I'm special to them! ?? Cary.
My sister and I went on the same days, she got $85 the second donation while I only got $70
Been donating since 2012. I look forward to coming, not only to help others, but I also appreciate the professionalism, committed staff that has worked for more than 5 years. They make me feel comfortable, welcomed and handle me with care. Thank you to you all. The TEAM there deserves more praise, appreciation, and recognition.
Overall have always had great experience at this location. From time to time the line builds up and I'm here longer than I'd hope to be, however that isn't anyone?s fault - sometimes lines happen. I've dealt with Emily F several times while on the donation beds and she is always friendly and has a positive attitude even when things seem to be busy!
I think who ever is doing the scheduling needs to spend a few hours on the floor. The staff does a great job considering. Megan and Haley are two of my favorites, always a pleasure and enjoyable ?? ??
I am a twice weekly donor at the Isbell location. Simply want to say everyone is great?from the front desk with Janine to Nancy to the techs Jed, Haley, Shannon, EL, Brionna, Haley,Meagan, Amanda, Jen, Jon, Corey, Renee, Korie, Michelle and the others. But Emily F simply brings a little something more to the floor. Always up. Always with a smile. Her stick is without uncomfortableness. She is the consummate professional.
the staff are very friendly and competent but there is always a long wait. i have tried going various times of the day and have yet to find a time where there's a short or no wait. thursday at 1130am there are 8 people in line in front of me to donate. please increase wages so you can attract and hire more staff! this is the reason i stop donating!
I've been donating here regularly for a few months now. They are almost always very busy and wait times can be long because of it, but I can tell they are trying to do their best with the sheer number of donors to process. I've been pleased so far all things considered.
Extremely understaffed, expect to spend an additional 30 minutes just to get through lines, mind I am coming at a slow time. Woman who tested my blood at the front, poked the center of my finger which is not what their suppose to do and very unfriendly. Will not be returning to this location
There should NEVER , ever be a time when donors are forced to wait for extended periods to donate! Having staff call in sick should never create this kind of debacle. Under staffing / minimal staffing should be highly discouraged and over staffing should ALWAYS be the norm!
everyone was super professional even though it was nearing the end of the day and everyone was ready to leave. aliyah started me out and explained everything about the machine and what it was doing and the nurse was very nice during my physical.
The staff there is amazing. It was my first time donating and they walked me through everything. They will explain in full detail and repeat if needed.
Emily F and Brie (like the cheese) were great! Both did a fantastic job and made for an enjoyable donation experience! (I was not pressured into saying any of this ??), but really they were great! ????
Even though there were a lot of donors at the time I went and longer than usual waiting lines every thing was relatively quick. Also, the tech that wrapped my arm at the end did not do it too tight.
Really bad. They began to lower the amount I earned weekly. I asked why they do that in the center I attend and they didn't know how to tell me anything. The strange thing is that I come with my colleagues and we all started the same and they were raised to $115 a week and I only $95. Now all people have $120 and for me $105 :-/ Green Bay, WI Isbell Center
I thought everything went great, I was a little nervous but all went well. Everyone is very nice and patient. Thank you
Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. They made my first donation as easy and relaxing as possible!
Everyone is always happy your there.I'm in & out in less than an hour! I just paid our property taxes with the cash. Besides helping more unfortunate people out !!!
I've been donating Plasma on and off since 2014. I'm not busy this week so I went in with the intention of donating for the first time in a year or so and I have to say it's like these people get together when they're bored and say we need to establish some new policies; What's the absolute most inherently ignorant thing we could do to waste even more of our customers time? I know, we'll find a way to prevent people from donating who have been doing so for over a decade and waste as much of their time as po
Everything went well and the phlebotomist were very nice. I only go when there is a promotion going on because $20 per donation when not on promotion is ridiculous. It doesnt buy much nowadays. Up your rates and you would get more donors!
Most people there are nice. There's an older bigger old guy in the front who hates life but other than him I haven't really had an issue.
First time donor today ?? and it went well from start to finish. Friendly staff, they made me feel comfortable and welcome. I will be coming back.
Very polite. There was a mishap towards the end of my donation they did not hesitate to make things right and get my coupons readjusted. Shannon went above and beyond. Thank you so much Bio-Life team.
I've never been impressed with much at this location, but lately it's been so bad It deserves a review. Wait times are horrendous 2+ hours for a 20$ donation, you can't even call and talk to anyone for questions because you just get the voicemail. It's such a frustrating experience, I feel bad for the employees who have to deal with the horrible mismanagement I witness. Most of the employees are pleasant which is the only reason you get 2 stars. Seriously, why schedule so many people for the same times
I've been donating plasma for 8 years and have gone to several different locations. I think the staff do the best they can but there is clearly not enough staff to meet the needs. I've come to this location on several occasions and always have a ridiculously long wait. (Today I've been waiting over 45 minutes and counting just to get my arm checked due to bruising; that doesn't even include the donation itself). If you want a timely experience, I wouldn't recommend this location.
I find donating to be very rewarding as well as relaxing Everyone is very friendly and seems to be interested in me as a person
3-5k for my one bag of plasma, makes sense to give me $35 I'm out Edit:: I have used the "contact us" and heard back from my center. The reply? In nicer words, "too bad, and corporate sets prices, not our fault, but I'll pass this along to a higher up". Did that happen? No. Don't care anyway, after that reply, I'm not coming back.
The people are great! Just disappointing when the pay keeps decreasing. I travel an hour to donate and it's getting to the point it's not worth my time or money
Ok as normal. Miss the days of not waiting for 30 mins for collection. I loved being in and out in an hour. Now it unpredictable, rarely an hour, 1.5 hours if you are lucky.
Everyone is friendly to me and I make $800 for donating only eight times a month, i don't see how or know how I can complain. Sometimes, I have some login issues but they quickly fix it & get me in there quick. I think the best time to donate is before noon I rarely ever have to stand in a line.
Haley B and Emily F were so nice and great at their job. They made my experience really nice and easy-going and made my donation a fun relaxing experience
Very friendly and personable staff. If you're new or a regular, this place takes very good care of you. On an average day, the whole thing can take about an hour.
Haley B and Emily are amazing! Two very caring, compassionate, hard workers. We are are lucky to have them at our center!
Last visit absolutely horrible, guy with beard punctured my vein and gave me hematoma. When I reported to center, the nurse oh, we will have to review that and records next time. Horrible experience from a rough bruiser, never had someone that rough. Arms looks like garbage after the abuse. Thanks for not caring. You need to pay more when you abuse someone.
In the last month Ive seen less and less familiar faces when it comes to the staff. I'm not sure if the management is causing employees to leave, but the center is definitely suffering. Wait times are ridiculous. It shouldn't take two hours to donate. They NEED to figure out there schedule!!! Also I hope to see staff start to stay at this facility. It doesn't exactly make you feel good that you constantly have ?someone new? poking your arm that you've never seen working there before. All in all it's gettin
Workers are kind, cordial, and they make the donation enjoyable!
This place is a joke and a complete waste of time!! The first time I understood my numbers were low so it was logical to send me home. However the 2nd and 3rd time were due to a complete lack of employee communication!! If you want people to have written letters to donate because they have type 2 diabetes then you need to specify ahead of their arrival. I drive 30 minutes to donate to be told I need a letter. So I get a letter and reschedule. Show up today and the nurse refuses my letter, stating it's a for
The time i spend each week at biolife is a great way to wind down from work and make some extra money. Emily F is amazing, she is always in a great mood, And conversation is always pleasant and makes the time spent there even better.
Brie is always very fun in a ?confrontational? type of way. Her humor exhibits her intelligence and wit. She makes you forget that you just stood in a line longer than one would desire. Her accomplice Emily F. certainly adds to the enjoyment of the experience of donating plasma for others in need of this life giving plasma.
Long wait and long time to get off machine. Staff are all extremely friendly and can tell they are all working as fast as they can.
Everyone at biolife is super friendly. Haley B is always a pleasure to talk to while hooking up. She's also great at sticking me without hurting!
Employees are very nice but operations are VERY slow. Do not donate if you have plans close to your donation time. Even when it's not busy it takes 10-15min to be hooked up after sitting down, and 10-20min to be unhooked after the actual donation is finished. Takes me about 2 hours on average per regular donation every time I go from walking in, to getting home.
Pulse was 2 beats per min high. Blood pressure was fine. Sat me down for 5 min and retook blood pressure and pulse. The cuff practically fell off the second time..well blood pressure read to low then. So they said can't donate today. Ridiculous take it again. Obviously 70 over 50 something is an error...oh but no we can only take it twice. Manager was no help and refused to extend my promotion.
the check-in process has been getting worse and worse. people are friendly and working hard, seems like they are allowing to many appointments or to fee staff. once past check-in things get better. Love the staff! fun friendly, just not z fan of the long waits.
I'm laying here writing this review. I'm at an hour after my appointment time and I'm not even donating yet. There doesn't seem to be an hustle even though 10-15 people were waiting to have their blood tested, another 8 waiting for a bed and 3 others in my section waiting to be hooked up. There should be a bonus paid to people having to wait this long. I almost walked out a few times. Does anybody actually run this place?
Staff is friendly and the facility is clean. Messed up record keeping. Talked to one nurse, very helpful, got all set up for Covid plasma donation. Was called 2 days before appointment to tell me I was not registered at their location and had to be transferred, 3-5 business days. Okay, I get it but the receptionist was very, let's say, not personable. A different nurse called and got things squared away for my original appointment time. Good 1st time, things went smooth. Scheduled next appointment with the
The wait times are insane. I thought coming in the morning would be better, but I was sorely mistaken. 90 minutes past appointment time and still waiting in line to start the donation. This is only worth it if you are getting paid minimum wage at your job.
I received a promotion/coupon via email. Donate 10 times. The 6th-10th donation an extra $15 per donation will be given. However, I presented my email, the young lady who did the finger stick, vitals etc, wrote the code on a piece of paper saying a supervisor had to enter it but reassured me my donation on 1/21/22 would be counted towards the promo. I again asked Megan/supervisor when she disconnected me and again she reiterated my donation would be counted. I called the center on the afternoon of 1/21/22,
Normally incredible service and speed. The new machines help but the last two donations took over an hour due to the waiting time for finger picking and then waiting to be hooked up after getting to the section. The wait time was as long as the donation time. The employees are always great but seem to be understaffed lately.
Very homely, hygienic and we'll maintained. Some of the nurses can be a bit rough or rude but nothing a little understanding won't get you through. Very upset that I was told not to return for a year due to being put on anti depressants because I may have (taken the needle out and stabbed myself??) but otherwise great place besides turning down countless friends of mine for various inexcusable non realistic reasoning but the free water and wifi is nice and the buddy bonus too, many pretty nurses male and fe
I love coming here to not only help the people who need the medicine made from plasma, but it has helped me get through some rough financial times, too. Thank you BioLife Plasma Services.
Worst experience I have ever had literally anywhere. The co-workers are awesome, but between the nurses and management they can't fix a recurring problem with my account between not having access toy online account, to having problems with scheduling, and honoring new donor coupons. This place is seriously a joke.
Appointment and wait times getting worse and worse. This center is always understaffed and half the beds open despite getting faster machines. Employees seem to spend more time chatting with each other then working together as a team. Expect to spend at minimum 2 hours per visit.
I have no clue why these people who are criticizing bio life plasma services are complaining. Every time I have come into the building, they have been very cordial. Customer service is great. No you cannot see them, I can tell the staff is smiling behind their masks. They even are very gentle with people were donating for the first time. Poor customer service, no. They are doing a great job. Shout out to Mia and Mira for doing a great job. PS-Go Buckeyes!
I have to say this has been a great experience. When I started coming in there were a lot of problems due to my arms being difficult to get blood from. They now know me and my difficulties and do a great job accommodating me. Austin is the man and if I could choose someone every time he'd be at the top of my list. He knows what he's doing and challenges himself to do better every time. Keep doing what you're doing and thanks for taking GREAT care of me!!
The staff in the green bay location is so efficient and professional. They're very friendly and make you feel so good about donating to such a good cause.
Constantly have to deal with racist employees on my own reservation, it's ridiculous. Sit there waiting 10 minutes or more to be unhooked, but the second a white man is done in the same section they unhooked them asap while I was STILL waiting
This location has lots of amazing people and I'm fond of a few, but my favorite is brie and Shannon they both have wonderful personalities, warm smiles and great energy.
Horrible wait times. Even when it's not busy you sit forever to be hooked up and taken off. Most of the staff is pretty friendly but they definitely need more help. Used to be way better before covid when they actually had enough people on a shift to keep up.
Yesterday was my very first time donating plasma. Everyone was very professional! They explained all the procedures and I felt safe the entire time! So thank you everyone for being wonderful! I shall be back??
A lot of the new staff that actually should know how to insert the needle into your vein have no idea how to. They miss mine every time and need someone to dig around in my arm with the needle to find it. Not very pleasant especially since it keeps happening unless someone with experience does it. Sometimes very short staffed, they should make less appointments available if they don't have proper staffing to not have to wait an hour to even get on a chair. Getting worse daily.
I get more bad pokes than acceptable pokes, its very unprofessional and a risk to my health. Be careful and wise on who's poking you.
The center used to get you in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Now you are lucky if you can get out in 1 1/2 hours. They seem to be understaffed and have too many appointments which backs up the center.
Fantastic staff that keeps the traffic moving through the facility. Also very communicative and upfront about any delays that you might incur. Highly recommend.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
