I had just gotten off work and went to donate. Well I fell asleep, not really fell asleep.... I dozed off for a second. But I woke up on my own, not like they had to wake me up. But then this woman came over and without telling me anything she took the needle out, bandaged my arm and said have a good day. When I went to pay my rent I then realized I hadn't gotten paid. I was suppose to donate 688 and I actually donated 342. But I got nothing for my time or the plasma that I did donate. Not to mention the la

I had a 10:30 appt. At 11:30, I noticed all the people who were in front of me were done and new ones coming in were being taken in front of me. I inquired and was told they were new donors and I would be next, in just a few minutes. I waited 20 more minutes and walked out. What is the point of an appt if they do not have enough help to keep things moving? They are either overbooked, understaffed, or both. But I have never waited anywhere else for over an hour for an appt. - not even at the OB when my docto

When you go in and talk to the nurse here and get a physical she makes you put a mask on because she says she's afraid of getting sick i would not be here if I was sick also she was already wearing a mask so why do I need one?? She's protected right? She already has one on!!! Update, it seems like if your a certain gender or skin color you dont have to wear a mask when you go in her office doesn't seem right to me the moment I walked into her office she asked me to put one on but other people can just go i

The staff is friendly enough but there are ridiculously long waits and even after you're in the chair you may be waiting for another 20 minutes or more (my third donation I ended up walking out of because I sat in the chair for 30 minutes and still wasn't helped-this was 1.5 hours after I walked in for an appointment). They are clearly understaffed and even the 2 hours they suggest for your first visit isn't enough for a regular donation, much less your first one when you have to do the physical. I have ha

I donated once, it took nearly 4 hours. The next time I scheduled appointment and came to check in on the kiosk I was told.i was ineligible to donate, I drove from high point just to be told i.was ineligible to donate. WHy would you allow me to schedule an appointment if I'm ineligible, so asked the person up front what is wrong and he said I would have to see a nurse. I sat and waited nearly 30 minutes and decided I would leave and call later. I called several times and no one ever answers the phone,

The staff is nice, but seriously they are understaffed. I just waited an hour and a half to get my basic check in vitals started. Only 2 people work up front. I get waiting for chairs, but they also don't have enough people in the back as four sections are empty. You spend a good part of your day being here. You need to keep your fluids and protein up...but kind of hard to do when you are basically living in the waiting line and you aren't getting snacks. They need to reduce how many appointment slots they

A month after donating, the veins on both arms hurt and they are bruised. On my last visit, a phlebotomist/ nurse moved the needle in my arm and blood started to ooze out where the needle was ???????.. I'm unsure why she moved it but I was doing fine before she bothered me. I didn't have the best experience and the wait time is ridiculous unless you are a new patient.

My husband has cancer and dementia and I pray for a cure everyday. Whether donating plasma or blood it helps with research and treatment for patients. The staff was very professional from start to finish. My actual donation process was amazing thanks to my sweet nurse Sonshine Tuck!

Now look ima be real if u wanna get paid. And ur a new or returning donor hopefully with a deal? (They give em in coupons sign up thru ur email)) u could get from 50 average per visit thru the deal so far ive been here for about 6 months. New donor bonuses are around 75-100 I belive it's been a while. But the waits is long especially Tuesday?s and fridays and afternoons. I get off work at 12 and if I go right in I may be about after around 2-3 hrs. So drink ur water. (And eat fruit). Yes, the center can b

Some of the workers are nice, But some are very rude. I had trouble scheduling appointments on app at first and the workers on shift helped me to where I could donate and login without an appointment, Go today, Appointment was at 7:30, My alarm didn't go off so I woke up at 7:00 & left in a hurry, But it's a 34 minute drive there, With traffic I didn't arrive until 7:43, 13 Minutes late, THAT'S IT! & When I went to front desk she said we have a 10 minute policy, You will have to reschedule and come back an

Went today and was helped by kimberlee ! She was really helpful and it didn't hurt at all when she stuck me . Some days you wait a lot longer then other days but today I was only there about an hour and a half !!! Totally great experience

The overall experience is pleasant. The staff is personable and everyone seems to be working together to get everyone donating. At times the wait is longer than it feels like it should; it's difficult to plan your day not knowing how long you'll be waiting before you even begin to give plasma. I did learn this is tax free, so you don't have to claim the funds made on your taxes.

Sometimes it's a smooth experience, but last time I was there my phlebotomist, Carmen, was terrible. She hung my saline without hooking me up and didn't come back for 45 minutes. Nobody in my section needed assistance, so I don't think she was busy. She was in the next section over from me talking to her coworker about wanting to leave by nine and how terrible all the donors were being. I tried to catch her eye to remind her I hadn't been hooked up yet, but she just kept talking to her coworker. When she fi

Service is absolutely terrible, if you dont come by 10am they have a screening line and donor waiting line literally everytime!! stop scheduling 50 appointments when there are only 2 phlebotomists helping in a shift. The donors are tired of it! The only good thing about this place is that its open after 5 if you can't make it early. Other than that, the wait is just as bad as CSL.

Terrible. just all around terrible. once I had an appt for 145pm, I didn't even get my vitals taken til 340. they weren't even understaffed, the staff just walks around. didn't leave the center until 545pm. Also they busted the vein in my right arm after digging around. So next time I moved my appt time up to 1135am. Better, 30min wait, and finally in the chair, thinking, ?wow this might actually be quick? A different nurse busted the vein my left arm. That hurts in case you didn't know. He told me ?follow

I never like to leave bad reviews, but I waited almost 3hrs today before I had to leave. The staff here are amazing and super friendly, but I don't understand why the waits are so long. There were only 3 phlebotomist on the floor, 4 people working up front to check people in. And 3 staff members opening boxes. I now know that most appointments will take between 3-4+ hours to donate.

This is by far the slowest, no work drive plasma center I've been to, the workers move turtle slow, lines be sooooooooo long but have the beds are available, do better!!! Also if you don't have enough staff, stop letting 100 my appointments when the wait will be 3 hours, it's literally common sense!!! Thank you !

The time frame from entry to completion of donation is extreme. This is most definitely due to understaffed operation. Clearly, this site does not understand burnout that their employees will experience. This will lead to more mistakes and more issues with wait times. They have these people working well past closing time and are accepting more donors late in the shift. I'm currently donating and the chairs are still full with some waiting to start donation. Whoever the owner is clearly doesn't understand th

Very nice group of people there. They answer all your questions and are very patient and kind. It was my first time ever donating plasma and I was very anxious about it. Everyone that I talked to alleviated my fears and were very nice and treated me like I was a friend. Wish more medical places were like that.

So I had made an appointment for 2:10pm. I arrived 20mins earlier and waited 2hrs to be seen. Then waited an additional 35mins to be called. Finally it was about hour before I was done. Almost 4 hrs to donate blood. Unacceptable.

There's one screner that is extremely slow, older black guy with gray hair and glasses! He does EVERYTHING Slow and then he always walks away from the counter! Like dude, we aren't getting paid by the hour! Where is the sense of urgency in this place?

Been there at an appointment at 1:00 not realizing that you still have to wait in line. Because I'm so busy keeping my grandbabies through the week. I can only plan for Sat. They messed me up on my visit. But after seeing Jennifer Applewhite post I'm not sure this is the place.

I went to do something to help people. I made my apt. I have now been eating 2 hrs and still have not been hooked up. I can understand why people do not donate. They do not see to care about anyone?s time. They are very understaffed. I will not be back

At biolife, you are not guaranteed to get paid. I am a new donor only on my 4th donation. And I donated today at April 3, 2025 9:40am and tried to call them. First, there is no direct line so you end up getting the run around from the call center thats in the Philippines. And they wont connect you to the actually location. Saying that it can take 24 hours for your payment to post. Now, This didn't happen the first 3 donations so why is it happening now? Well, the last time, on my third donation, there was

Wonderful staff! From the manager who helped me with address issue, Lawrence at check in to Lady Linda and my Tech Lamar. They were all awesome!! Yea it took some time, very busy to be expected! They may be a little short handed but they work hard for you for a safe process. Thank you to all the great staff!

The staff is nice enough but the wait to get screened is painfully slow. There really isn't much of a system for people waiting for their "appointments" . It's confusing and stupid really. It's 2025. Have a official cue on a TV monitor. Also it's hard to eat a proper meal 2-3 hours before your appointment as you might be waiting 2+ hours to get hooked up to a machine. I cannot stress how terrible this place is! Go anywhere else!!

It was my first time at BioLife and it was a little crazy. It took a very long time between check in and finally getting to donate. The whole process took over 3.5 hrs which is a ridiculous time to wait. Otherwise the staff was very nice and professional the place was clean and orderly. Overall it was a nice experience

Staff was A+. They seemed very knowledgeable and after conversing with many they had years of service. The facility was very clean and employees constantly swept and sanitized. Restrooms were always clean and usable.

The staff is friendly but the wait time is ridiculous. Established patients should not take over 3 hours to donate. Understaffed!!! Obviously don't care about the experience. In line like lab rats

They make you make an appointment says it will take about an hour and I have been sitting almost an hour to get hooked up to start donating again. I have appointments and need to know that if I set an appointment and im on time that I get in and out within that hour time frame.

Low rating because the waiting time is absolutely insane. If you make an appointment here, make sure you bank on getting out of there after 3 or even 4 hours. Most of the staff is actually pretty nice and patient considering the fact that they're always short-staffed. Definitely go early in the morning if you want to avoid the big crowds and long waiting lines.

I had Nesie the past 2 times I came in and I love her she makes the process fast and I can tell she likes her job

A lot of preliminary screening involved. Expect it to be busy on the weekends. The donation procedure itself is painless and takes about an hour or so. Play on your phone or read a book and get paid for it.

Great staff but definitely Understaffed/only approximately 75% of the available machines/chairs are being used 100% of the time. This is a deterrent for people to continually coming. No matter how much money they give you for your time. ""After promotion-$105 a week. $40 then $65 This place is great as far as staff. Ive been coming for two or three months. The only thing about this place is the ridiculous amount of times it takes. No matter how many people are waiting. Only about 75% of the beds, or less

Since I started going here to donate plasma I really enjoyed the workers there they are friendly and I can see they really care about the donors that donate I would recommend this place to all my friends and I love helping people that's the main reason why I donate my plasma.

Places basically being ran Helter skelter although they have appointments appointment doesn't matter person can come in an hour after you and leave before you get in the chair before you and the employees don't know what's going on... Get you a couple of donations and get up out of this very unprofessional. Talk to the floor manager Ashley. She didn't know what was going on

This facility needs new management. There is no valid reason why management posted the facitlity would open at 9am today due to inclement weather but didnt and decided to close for the day well after 10 am. Where was the inclement weather? That happened yesterday not today. What about the donors that stood in the cold waiting? Nothing right? The manager has no respect for the donors or their time. The facility is constantly understaffed and he does the hiring so it's safe to say he has poor decision making

I'm really furious with this center. For the past two weeks the lines are absolutely ridiculous seriously. You be in here for 4 hours at least from the time of your appointment. The employees don't really care about keeping the line moving, they purposely move slow, stop to converse with they co-workers, take breaks during the busiest time, instead of making sure the line is constantly moving. On top of that management don't even come out to assist to get the lines moving. I been in management for 10 plus y

Audra was the absolute best. Ensuring i was comfortable and okay with every step! great location.

Sonshyne is working very hard. Been here a few times and have had good experiences at the Greensboro location.

The techs, especially Brian, and a nurse. Shell, and all employees are extremely professional and very helpful and friendly!! It gets a bit backed up at times, they're short staffed often but they get the job done!! 5?

Travis the tech was wonderful. He was professional and proficient. Had me in and out quick.

I try my best to refrain from reviews but this place is slow even after they make you get an appointment for every donation you still sitting for two to three hours before you donate in I think that's crazy as hell especially when you have an appointment

Rude. Always short staffed. Makes you feel like an inconvenience. Reason why I stopped going and will never be back

The staff moved me along quickly and were very friendly. They even made it fun to go through the process. We were laughing and chatting while they moved me through the process. I actually had a good time. Just bring your blanket with you, they keep it real cold in there. Thank you to the staff for making giving blood easy and fun!

I enjoy going to biolife. I am helping others in need and making easy money by donating while relaxing playing a game or listening to music.

They have a million policy set in place to disqualify anybody that they want. They basically pick and choose who they allow into their building and they lie about certain disqualifying factors based off of how you look or how you act, etc. basically they're very prejudiced and they have a bunch of fake policy set in place to just be able to deny anybody that they want and use one of their "rules" to blame. These people are not saving lives... They don't care about the donors or the recipients... This is a b

I went to try and donate on 5/15/2025, I was a returning donor after about 6 months I made an appointment, but it didn't allow, so the front desk receptionist had me sit down and a guy came out, he had someone in his office, he was passing by and saw me, and told me I would be next, about 10 minutes he came out, took the lady to the donor waiting section, and he came out and screened another lady and I said loudly I was suppose to be next, he or the staff said nothing I got up and he was finished screening,

Got a huge bruise on my arm, and felt really fatigued and run down for two days afterwards. I probably won't go back. Edit: Photos are from one week later, still have a huge bruise.

The staff is so nice! Macey put my IV in and walked me through the whole process since it was my first time. I definitely recommend this place!

Friendly staff but seems to be ALWAYS under staffed! One can see they have plenty of machines and have the capability for the high number of donors. Yet, without properly staffing the facility, patients are just made to wait forever. That makes the $ offered much less appealing! It's my 3rd time here and 1 hr and 45 minutes after my arrival I have yet to get hooked up to a machine to begin donation. It was the same last time I came and I ended up having to leave before donating since I was not prepared to

Was asked to donate. They are the slowest, rudest, cheapest place. Don't go unless you absolutely have to. 3+ hours it takes each time

The wait to get on a bed was long, but Ian made it worthwhile!

Extremely and I mean extremely slow service . Floors aren't kept up with. I sat on a bed for atleast 30 min waiting to get stuck . Experienced pain in my arm I've never felt . There's no organization. Worst experience ever at any plasma place I've ever been

We were not informed how long the initial appointment would take we were expecting at the max 2 hours but it was not it was quite a bit longer not only that but my husband's appointment was at 9:45 a.m. we sat there until 11:45 and he was supposed to be next to see the nurse and instead they just overlooked him took the woman behind him and the woman behind him instead of saying he was in front of me besides oh she just called me so I'm going to go and instead of finding out who was actually supposed to be

The reviews will run you away.. don't let these reviews discourage you I had a great first time experience and the whole appointment including donation time was about 2.5 hours

Not too bad but they are extremely slow. I shouldn't have to wait all that time and be put into a chair to wait another hour to start

Excellent and professional staff. Feels like family. Thanks for the great job you do

You have good workers towards we are considered clients and they are good towards us from A to Z good performance

As far as the center it is very clean. As far as the staff, they have ALL been great and professional. My issue is when I donate,my first draw and return go fine but when the machine starts taking my second draw and I start pumping it feels like a cramp creeping up my arm. Its a burning sore sensation as soon as I start pumping during my second draw all the way up my arm and it progresses until they have to come stop the machine. I'm not bashing BioLife because it has nothing to do with staff because they st

My first appointment which was supposed to take 2 hours took 4 hours, causing me to almost passed out during my donation. They do not call you with pertinent information. They do not answer the phone if you try to call them. If you live more than a couple minutes from the center, it's more trouble than it's worth. That being said the staff is mostly friendly and they do have some really great phlebotomists/techs, that do their job very well.

Super sweet staff! The problem is the fact that they do not have nearly enough people working for the amount that want to donate plasma. No matter how efficient the staff is, it's never fast enough bc of how understaffed they are. If BioLife wants to make sure that people are getting the care they deserve/need, they should lower the amount of appointment availability until they can staff this location better. This isn't fair to the employees or the people trying to donate.

This place is terrible and have terrible staff they make u set a appointment but don't abide by it then have u waiting on the donation chair for 45 mins before they put the needle in and the only give $70 after u been there for over 4 hours even with a appointment

So far....so terrible. I've been here over a half hour and other than checking my ID, nothing is happening.

Sunshine is very sweet, and a great phlebotomist. Kim the supervisor and the front end staff are also very friendly and good at what they do!

First of this is the LOWEST PAYING plasma place around, even if u are brand new. Don't b fooled, cause of stacking appointments 5-10 min apart and always 1 or 2 people up front u wait forever to get stuck. I PROMISE IT'S BETTER to go elsewhere, just off the money aspect. Because it's not something slight that we go to do.

Easy money, but I'm not sure if it's worth the time. My last couple of visits have taken me 2 1/2 to 3 hours to donate due to the slow check in process and getting started. I made my appointment at an earlier time of the day hoping it would be less behind/busy and it's worse!! Drink plenty of water the day before and some the morning of to minimize your time because the staff sure don't!

This place is getting worse an worse. Great staff. But not enough. What's the point In scheduling appointments if it doesn't matter. There's gotta be 60 ppl in here right now, and at least 35 waiting for a bed (the girl next in like has been here since 1230 and it's 3pm now. And since being in line 6 new donors (who get sat immediately have taken available beds... just extending our time here even further. I got here at 215 so I had plenty of time to do this before work but doesn't look likely... they need

UPDATE: This would've been my 6th donation but I won't be back. This is the 3rd visit that I've wasted my time and gas. They have communication issues that they need to work through. I had an issue scheduling an appointment last week, left a voicemail, no one ever returned my call. When I arrived for the next appointment on Thursday, the computer system stated that I could not donate more than twice in a 7 day period but I had only donated on Tuesday. When the supervisor looked into it, they said that becau

Phlebotomists are very kind and friendly! They work very hard and as quickly as possible! The front desk has some friendly workers and some that are not so friendly. The only issue I've found is they take so many appointments at one time that wait times can be exorbitant. If you get an appointment in the middle of the day you're looking at a 3+ hour wait time- it's not that they aren't working hard, there's just too many appointments!

So my first payment after new donor fees was 40$. Yall can't be for real. Also only posted fees on app and location are new donor fees. I had to donate to find out what it would be. Needless to say, when I saw it was 40$, I was shocked it was so low compared to other companies. I will not be back.

I just left what would?ve been my first donation appointment and I am extremely disappointed. I walked in at 5:50pm for my scheduled appointment time of 6:15 and was directed to sit in a chair. What no one informed me of, is that the chair I had been told to sit in, was for someone who had already donated and had to wait 15 minutes before leaving. I proceeded to sit in this chair for just over an hour, before someone finally asked me what I was waiting on. When I informed them that I had been directed to si

Was treated very rudely by staff. I had gone to the appointment with my husband and child for him to donate. They have a very large waiting room and I sat in the very back 6 yards away from people with my child on my chest. I would?ve sat with him in the car but it was over 80 degrees out, I knew the appointment could be up to an hour so I came inside. My child is young and made literally no sounds and was sleeping hardly visible and I was waiting minding my own business. I was then approached by the manage

Once again we are here waiting for hours smh. It's an absolute shame!!! Then the owner responds to each review but does nothing to fix it. One of the workers are literally looking lost and walking back and forth, calling people from the line like every 10-12 mins, like no one is in her chair right now. I'm so sick of it seriously!!! After my new donor bonus I will not be back seriously. Since I been here 3 people have walked out. PLEASE, PLEASE, if you're looking to donate here DON?T just read the reviews.

The plasma donation process itself was smooth, with no issues related to the machine setup or removal, and no post-donation pain or bruising. However, the saline infusion felt extremely cold, which was uncomfortable, and the donation center was very cold overall, potentially due to the freezer. Regarding the intake process, the environment was challenging. The music was too loud, making communication difficult, especially with low speech volume from intake staff. As someone with autism and auditory process

I guest it like every were else u have good and bad u have a lot of good people working thereand a lot of not so good

Professional and courteous service from the staff especially taking into account the staffing shortages. Need to mention that I've observed multiple donors who may at times be impatient and or rude,i.e. using profanity in regards to the wait time. Guess what? Sometimes you have to wait so shut and deal with it! The staff does an amazing job under difficult circumstances. Did I have to wait for a longer period than normal after I was seated in an open donor bed B4 I got the needle? Yes! I had to flag down so

So utterly displeased. No one knows what's going on, check in and they're trying to give me a physical on my second donation?wait an hour to get vitals done, get to the chair and the lady busts my vein!!!! I have good veins and have donated at other centers and this center once with no issue. Training needs to be better and the people sticking should actually know how to stick versus digging in an arm for a 10 minutes.

Y'all NEED to figure out a system of booking people up in the order they come in. Multiple times I've come here and waited an hour and a half to be hooked up to a pump. I see people who came in way after me start the process. Like you worry about us not being hungry, right? Really doubt I'll come in again.

I used to donate there, and be in and out in an hour. It was worth it back then. Now, I don't want to wait 3 or 4 hours just to make $40. It doesn't make sense. Triple the amount of staff and train them right, and people would be far happier coming in.

The front to take vitals was excellent, the wait for donations was extremely long. My appointment was at 10:15 , I did not get out til 1:45 that's crazy. Plus my first time went I had to get a physical. The older P.A was extremely rude . The second P.A fixed the problem and was very kind and courteous. The phlebotomist, were nice just not enough!

It used to be a good way to get some extra cash when they had limited appointment slots. Now it's unlimited and they wait times are unreasonable. 4 or 5 hours just to get in a bed for another 30 ton45 min wait to start the donation. They stoped giving coupons. The only saving grace it The few staff that stay and try are nice and do their best to get people in and out without being mean.

Always an easy process. You might have to wait a little while but they do their best, friendly staff.

They're always so slow and the wait is never shorter than 2 hours so make sure you clear your schedule for the day when you go. Everybody was at least nice except for one of the ladies checking vitals. Old woman named prescilla that you can tell doesn't want to be there. Rude and unprofessional

It's okay But today I was waiting for my loved one and the lady was saying we have to seat outside then she Came and told another man he can come in and basically sent confusion and then she started yelling

I've had 3 genuinely nice people there. Some were quite rude unprovoked. Have donated 3 times and each time has taken 3 hours regardless if there is a line when I come in or not. Not very clear instructions at any point from when you are just coming in as to what to do. Just expect to be ignored for most of the visit and sit in the waiting area for an hour so they can prick your finger to check protein and wait 1-2 hours in the lay down tables where the plasma is taken before anyone actually notices you fo

Never had a bad experience here, the staff are nice and professional. Sometimes you do have to wait longer than expected but I try to plan for that. I will say, bring a blanket and make sure you are good and hydrated because your donation will go quicker if you are properly hydrated. They will also be able to find your vein easier. I think I'll continue to come it's been a nice experience for me.

Employees are very professional and respectful they get you in and out as fast as possible
