Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the staff's professionalism, friendliness, and skill, particularly noting painless procedures and positive interactions. However, frequent complaints highlight excessive wait times, often exceeding scheduled appointments, with some donors waiting over an hour just to begin. Several mention declining compensation and frustration with inconsistent policies or referral bonuses. A few report poor experiences, including unprofessional behavior or incorrect medical rejections. While many appreciate the upgraded machines, understaffing remains a significant issue, leading to delays and dissatisfaction. Overall, positive experiences hinge on efficient service, while negatives focus on wait times and organizational shortcomings.

The wait can definitely be a pain, but if you plan your day accordingly, it's worth it. The extra income is always a bonus, regardless of how much it is, especially considering it's not taxed. The staff here always treat me really well and truly seem to have the patients? best interests in mind. Dave at the front desk is extraordinarily kind and always in a great mood. Marlee, Nicole, Esther, Carla, Nick, and so many more always make conversation and connect when doing sets or flashes.

I had a very frustrating experience donating plasma at this center. A few weeks ago, I was told I needed a doctor?s note due to PTSD, which I followed through on and obtained. When I returned, I signed in at what I believed was the correct check-in station. I then sat for an hour before anyone approached me, only to be told I had signed in incorrectly. After that, I had to wait another hour for the nursing evaluation. Once I was finally taken to a donation chair, I waited another 30 minutes before being to

What a place of business?deferred without proper reasoning. They will say ? was using medication NOT prescribed to him/her. Actuality, Idaho denied medical needs (insurance) to provide proper care for serious asthma condition. Please do your research-and by all means, lie to get what you need, the truth will keep you set back. In this case, telling the truth will get you denied ????? What a sad world, when people or bots are controlled and motivated by a dollar that most of us know-holds NO value to the co

The initial start of the appt went just fine. It was when I was finished with my donation that I then lay there with a needle stuck in my arm for almost 30 before the technician finally decided to call for help. I ask her as she walked by my if she could call for some assistance and she told me "NO". She was the only one in the section and was having multiple issues with different patients. No one should ever be left to lay there that long waiting to be disconnected! Absolutely ridiculous!

I have donated for several different donating centers in multiple States for several years and BioLife in Hayden Idaho so far has been the best experience yet and Carla especially is the greatest courteous friendly and spot on. A real top notch professional. My thanks to her.

The staff is awesome! This more of a complaint about the way corporate compensates you for plasma. Once you're past the sign up bonus you don't get much. Then they'll send you a $10 bonus but they'll lower your weekly compensation $20 just seems kinda messed up..... IMO. Like I said I love the staff at the Hayden id location

The best! Lee, Halli, Nick, Lisa and the crew were awesome! Friendly, funny and just great to talk to! My first experience was a home run! Big shout out to the Biolife staff! I'm going to keep coming back!

Very clean and organized. Every one that works here has always been so kind! Super comfortable and to the point. I continue to donate twice a week and would highly recommend coming here to help others!

I love donating but this facility has a hard time keeping/respecting donors? schedules. My questionnaire glitched and I had to wait over 20 min for someone to acknowledge me at the front desk, and another 40 min to get the issue fixed after being told ?it'll take a couple minutes?, and then I still had to wait in the 30 min line to get my finger pricked before donating. Very frustrating. I understand the issue of the saline factories has created some flub, but proper staffing or a little customer service wo

I am only visiting for a bit so maybe I was just there during weird times but this place is a huge facility that both times have only had half their machines up and running. Idk if they need more phlebotomists or it's a schedule issue but when I make an appointment I feel I shouldn't be waiting up to 45 min past that appointment before I'm even walking to a machine, let alone the time it takes to get hooked up , because the few phlebotomists available are getting over whelmed by full sections that don't se

I love this place the staff are amazing, friendly and helpful but feel the need to complain a little. Been here an hour and am halfway through the second line that is moving really slow. Wait they just took 8 people i made it to a chair hallelujah. My butt was going numb. Bumping it back up to 3 stars maybe 4 once I get the blood back in my bum lol, I mean they used to have more staff and more chairs. Don't know what happened. Covids fault, took out all you can eat buffets and biolifes ability to get you in

The staff is very pleasant to work with. Even though they run their buns off all the time they do it with a great attitude and makes the donation much more pleasant

Eveyone there was very kind and through! Took the time to explain everything. The process was fairly simple. Its a bit different then a standard blood donation. And takes longer. I will be back. And thank you Lee ! I was emailed an offer of $110 for 2 donation s. And got80dont understand that

You need to hire more people or get rid of your schedule time to donate. If we (who are donating plasma) are penalized for being late to our scheduled appointment time, which is never followed anyways cause you never know who is hydrated correctly, so donation times vary. Then you also should be penalized for making us wait beyond our scheduled appointment time. So for instance an added $10 for every 30 mins we have to wait beyond our scheduled appointment time to the time we sit in the donation chair. We a

Biolife is very clean, bright and welcoming. The staff are friendly and helpful. Even though I'm getting compensation I'm also helping someone in need.

They said my protein level of 7.3 was insufficient. Went to CSL immediately after BioLife rejected me and my level was actually 7.8. They declined my roommate saying his iron levels were too low but when he went to CSL his levels were normal. They also didn't honor at least three referral bonuses that I know of from friends and coworkers who never got their referral money. I think they told me my levels of protein weren't sufficient so that they didn't have to pay the new donor promotional rate. I won't eve

I am a little frustrated about the declining amount I am receiving every week, it started at $140/week and dwindled to $115/week, and even my return bonus was messed up when you guys delayed me 2 weeks when I mysteriously had a "high protein" number, but my diet has been the same from before and after that, and I haven't had another mysterious "high protein" problem since. Which screwed me out of about $400 of my return bonus. Your happy to take my liquid gold donation now on a regular basis without a hitch

From the easy to use app to the smiling faces, everything just felt comfortable. The staff is awesome, especially the in-house nurse, Lee, who choreographed my physical. There are now new machines that make the withdrawal time even 10 minutes faster and a seated waiting area for after you pass your questionnaire. I believe the compensation has increased as well. It's not like those other clinics... It's very clean, very cutesy, very demure...

The peaple are very nice. I'm not quite sure why they do appointments when they don't have enough staff and you sit and wait for over an hour. I try to go on my lunch and it's never in and out. You need to expect at least 2 hours . They need to figure a different appointment system

They never answer the phone or call you back, and when they have your test results that you are waiting for to be able to donate they don't call you

I've donated plasma at several different facilities over the years, and this one is by far the worst. My fastest appointment so far was 2.5 hours. For comparison, my longest donation at my last facility was 1.5 hours. Good luck to you if you have small or delicate veins, the phlebotomists here have been very clumsy with the needle. Every one of the employees looks exhausted and unhappy. which leads me to believe that they are probably severely underpaid and understaffed. The other facilities I went to just

Carnivore Dominant Diet will help you maintain proper Protein and Hematocrit levels required for Donating twice a week. Weekly compensation is just over $100 a week in the form of a debit card.

Employees are all amazing! Issues for years the appointment merely holds a place in mine and so averages are two hours to donate! Time sometimes is more important than the money. Lately wait times much longer and donation money for that time keeps dropping. I hate seeing turnover of employees but I imagine they have to be frustrated!

Good staff all around and nurse lee was super helpful getting me back on track coming back after 3 years of not donating awnsered all my questions and gave me additional information that wass super helpful

BioLife has left a great impression. Every donation I've come in for the staff has been so nice and personable. The facility is very clean and well managed.

A great way to make some extra money. The facility is always clean, staff is friendly, they have genuine care for their donors, and they have not made me feel like just a number, or that it is just a job for them. Special shout out to RN Lee. She helped me with my physical and profile update when it had been over 6 months since my last donation. SUPER nice and friendly, easy to talk to, and answered my questions with care.

Nice people but the app to schedule sucks so bad!! It makes you change your password and does not work after! So frustrating!! Fix it once and for all!

From soup to nuts this place is doing good in the world. 1st class. Kinda another side to it as well? tough sledding. I see you responded asking me to respond privately to the concerns I shared. Do you mean like the 3 separate times I reached out and received no response whatsoever, like that? Or do you mean reach out so that I can modify my experience and not use my free speech to warn others about the way I was treated? I'm confused please, let's talk about this in front of God and everybody. No need to h

Good staff but the wait times are getting absurd and the money you get for the extra time is less and less. Very frustrating because this used to be a good way to help others and help yourself at the same time. Then they got these new machines that are faster, but now they can't keep up with them. I waited almost two hours just to get into a chair, then thirty minutes for them to hook me up. Donation took about thirty minutes, then I had to wait another thirty for them to unhook me. The and a half hours is

I will never donate here again. Every time I go in with a promo they cant find my veins, or they blow my veins. Then I will have huge bruises and am not able to donate. They are rude about it and make it out to be my fault. If they didn't use people who don't know how to put the needle in then they would be able to draw from me. Every time i am not on a promo, they never have a problem getting my veins and they don't leave huge bruises. This place is a joke. They attitudes you get from them are ridiculous.

I've been to some donation places. Bio life is by far the best I've been to. The staff is so nice. I recommend just going here. Thank you Biolife

I went in for a physical and donation since the last time I donated was over 6 months ago. It is probably my 4th or fifth time having to do the physical because I wait so long to continue donating until they send me a a decent in offer since I absolutely hate needles and hate staring at blood pumping in and out of my arm from a needle, so I only donates win the money catches my attention. I plan ahead and expect the process to take 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours total when I also have to do the physical. I did not ge

It's a great way to make extra money while also saving lives and most the people are nice but the lines are absolutely ridiculous! I don't have time to wait 2 hours before my appointment time before I even make it to the chair. It's really frustrating. Don't allow so many appointments to be made for a given time slot if you're not able to move people along in a timely manner. When I told one of the guys I'd been waiting already for over an hour and the line is still an hour wait, wrapped around the corner,

The payment was decent and the people who work there are very nice. However, there could be more employees working to help people move more quickly through. At least 45 minutes was spent waiting to donate with empty beds just sitting there. Overall the experience was fine though.

I've been donating at this center for two years now and the service has never been worse. The wait just to get in a chair is over an hour after appointment time and it's another 20-30 mins to get hooked up. And that's at 25% of their acuall capacity. When I started comming, it was 1 or 2 hours MAXIMUM and that was at full capacity. Nobody here moves like they have anywhere to be.

Used to pay good, they cut 30 bucks a week out, longer waits and have to hang around extra time drinking gator aid now. Not worth going any more for what they pay.

Great service. Awesome employees . And you get paid. And the long lines are just about removed

Love giving plasma and helping those in need while making a little cash! You HAVE to come up with a better way to check in! I work with my hands and don't have a reliable fingerprint. Your systems don't allow a way to delete your print and retry another finger. It wastes my time and your staff's time. Please come up with something better.

After 9 and a 1/2 years it's most excellent experience. It can be when you get even stuck with a needle with a happy smile. Of good tech and awesome people to be with.

The whole donation process was great. However, as the beds are a few feet away from each other, it would be great if they would make a policy of ?must use ear buds for listening to personal devices?. One older woman across from me was listening to some program or show without ear buds and had her volume on her iPad up loud enough that it was very distracting. Between music piped in and noise from machines and employees, I wanted to disconnect and leave. I guess employees are not allowed to ask donors to

When I showed up to my appointment i spoke to front desk about the advertising she advised me I had already donated twice successfully and was not eligible for the credit, however I was fairly certain I had NOT had a successful donation. After arguing with her for a bit we finished the intro paperwork and I was sent to the nurses office. The nurse confirmed I had never had a donation there before and was placed on a Do not donate (faints easily)list after doing a good portion of paper work and setting time as

Biolife Hayden rocks! All the people are friendly and funny! I feel better when I'm there

Staff made my daughter feel very unwelcome. She is a mother of 3 who works in a daycare and part-time for the school just trying to make a little money. She left without donating and sat in her car crying because they made her feel so bad. I'm a RN and I know our jobs are stressful but there is no excuse for this!

I've been donating for a few months now and I truly do enjoy it. I'm a little sad they might not be open on Sundays anymore but I get it. It will be different to try to find a new donating schedule but if they choose to I will figure something out. I had a hard time donating Sunday I'm not really sure what happened but I wasn't able to donate fully. But the staff is always so friendly and helpful and they truly care about their donors. I love going to this location. They are always so sweet and kind. I'm th

This was my first time ever donating and it could not have been any better. Every single person who works there is so kind and they make you feel so comfortable. My RN?s name was Lee and she was AMAZING. Truly the sweetest woman, I could have sat there and just chatted with her the entire time. The gal who checked me in was also so kind, I think her name was Lisa, but I can't remember. Also everyone drawing the blood was so attentive and caring, they answered every single question I had and checked in on me

The staff at this facility are so welcoming and accommodating. I enjoyed being in an environment that presented true human interaction. I greatly appreciated the guidance and the manner in which my concerns were addressed by the staff and Lee who is one of their RNs. She was able to completely calm my nerves and had me laughing as I left the exam room. I am excited to be helping others in need and cannot express my gratitude to everyone that helped me with the process.

Such a smooth and easy process getting signed up and ready to donate. Everything was explained so well I felt comfortable throughout my entire experience. Lee, RN did my physical and explained the process to me. She was fantastic! My technician was great as well! I'm excited to come back and continue donating!

Lee was the nurse that did my intake for my initial appointment. I thought she was incredibly professional and really knew her stuff. I've had good experiences overall. I've been spending 90-120 minutes for an entire appointment. I wish the lines moved faster but they're doing a good job. Payout is nearly instant.

If it were just the friendliness of (most of) the phlebotomy staff this would be a 5 star review. By and large they're great, especially Ky who always makes me laugh. But when the appointment times are consistently over 2 hours, when they only have 2 sections open and you wait over an hour before you get to a bed and then usually wait at least another 20-30 minutes to get hooked up, it's just not worth it anymore. The new "faster" machines make no difference if you don't keep enough qualified staff on shi

I have donated off and on at this location since it opened mid 2000s. Always been quick and nice staff. While the staff is still nice, the service is slow. It take a minimum of an hour to get from check in and to a donation bed. Then usually 15 minutes to get the donation started. Donation goes quickly but another 15-30 minutes to get disconnected and out the door. Since I have been donating in the last few months it is an average of 2.5-3 hours. In the past an average time would be 1-1.5 hours. Very slow.

In my intake experience I had a unique experience where I was questioned and shamed based on the number of medication I reported. Unfortunately most of those medications I'm on are helping me deal with the aftermath of watching my mother die from cancer. It's interesting to me that an organization that produces therapies to help cancer patients also has employees who can come across as insensitive and unprofessional. It probably doesn't help recruit new donors.

As always was in and out in normal time frame . Only complaint was starting to walk across parking lot and was almost hit by a employee rushing to work . See employees speed through parking lot all the time.

Staff is always friendly and are as efficient as they possibly can be. I always look forward to my donation.

Everyone is always so nice. I've been going here for years. I love coming here.

Excellent staff at the location. Always friendly, knowledgeable, and do a good job of trying to move everyone through as quickly as possible! Ky is a rock star and it is obvious that her attitude and work ethic is much appreciated on the floor!

Always enjoys donating at Biolife Plasma! Very friendly staff and quick process.

I've been donating here for a year now off and on, and it's been a great experience every time. Except for the rush during December and January, I haven't experienced long waits. I'm in and out and about an hour usually. The staff is friendly (esp Nick who always remembers my name) and professional, so I always feel like I'm in good hands.

I have been donating here for 5 years now. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I especially love walking in and hearing Mekylan?s boisterous greeting. She always makes me smile. They keep their facility very clean and orderly. Overall it's been a good experience!

The process itself takes quite a long time for a new donor. However the staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. Lee the RN is great. I actually enjoy doing the physical with her because she so funny.

Great initial experience from start to finish! My RN, Lee, was so friendly and thorough, as was my technician, Bree! I have donated at another center before moving to CDA, and they treated me so well ??

I will give 3 stars for now, because I am still in the process of actually donating plasma. As a new customer be prepared to be there anywhere between 2 to 4 hours and have an insanely large amount of questions, and things that need to be done before you can even donate, it's way more than I have ever expected. Especially to waste your time and end up having to walk away, empty-handed until they can get a doctors note explaining some basic meds that they even told me won't effect my donation. Likely I will

Very professional and hard working people here. Depending on when you make your appointment, expect to be here between 90 minutes and 2 hours. Ky is my favorite, she's attentive, personable, and has a great sense of humor.

This facility is great! The staff are so kind and always make sure you are comfortable. They answer any questions you might have and make sure to explain what they are doing so that I never feel nervous or unsure.

You pay for plasma. I have plasma for sale. You take my plasma, then pay me for it. I get money. You get plasma. And we can make this deal weekly!

Great money, great service, pretty easy, also located in a very accessible spot.

DON'T GO IF YOU TAKE ANTIHISTAMINES OR HAVE ALLERGIES. They won't let you donate even though they don't mention antihistamines affect plasma when they're prepping you for your appointment. And if you have the sniffles even slightly because you've stopped taking them for donation, you also won't be accepted. Listen, I get the science behind that and it is what it is, but the fact of the matter is that they don't explicitly state it when prepping you to come in and donate. Which not only wastes your time, it

This place used to be awesome, but the wait times have just made it ridiculous to even donate. They say it only takes an hour to donate, but as I type this I've been waiting an hour from my appointment time to be seated, and there is still 4 people ahead me who have to be set up, so that's another ~20 minutes before I'm even poked. The another 30-40 minutes to finish and you are looking at almost 2 1/2 hours to finish. Admittedly it's been a while since I've been in, but it was NEVER this bad when I used t

It really depends on who you get when you're donating, and I was lucky enough to have Lee as my intake nurse. Very kind and welcoming, and they all also helped me get set up right away. Most of the phlebotomists are also very good, but there is one lady who worries me. Her name is Carla, she's maybe 40, and apparently she been doing the jabbing for a couple years. IMO she could use a couple more years just practicing. She went through my vein and proceeded to wiggle and wriggle the needle around until it wa

I drive from Spokane to Hayden since they had a new donor special. Have had a great experience each time- I go early and get out in reasonable time. Lexi was the PLEB who got me set up today and was efficient, friendly, zero pain. They were busy but she didn't make it feel rushed or flustered. For 8 AM on a Saturday everyone was wonderful. Highly recommend.

The nurse is very sweet. All of the staff are nice.

Let's look at facts. 800ml of plasma which I donate can make pharmaceuticals 5000 usd. So how come my donation pay has gotten less and less. 125 for 4-6 hrs of sitting in a chair with some of your Employes not being very good is almost not worth it. I wish this place never turned into a plasma center and stayed as a red cross blood donation center. I mean when I began donating I made up to 900 a month which made it worth it. Now eh.

the people are friendly and explained everything. makes it a more enjoyable experience

The nurse was great, she helped me get a good promotion deal so i could get paid well when starting out extremely nice. But other than that it seems extremely un organized. I brought in everything i needed to donate, ssc, proof of address, and ID. They wouldnt accept my SSC, because it was a copy. So then they told me they would build me a profile with all the documents i have and that next time i come in, all ill need to bring is my SSC. So thats what i did, i spent 2 hours at the SS office to get my card,

I love Biolife, but honestly my experience at this Biolife has been awful. It feels like I am not cared for. I once waited for 15 minutes after I was finished with a needle in my arm, uncomfortable and in pain until somebody finally came to help me. The process takes way too long. (Showed up at 10:15 because I had to be at work at 12:30 and I was late to work because of how slow people work here). Today I was denied service because I didn't make an appointment. This is the first time I've ever been told I n

My first day donating at the Hayden site was spectacular!!! Sean recognized me as soon as I walked in and said he would be right with me, after he finished with the donor he was assisting. Kim answered a few questions I had in my questionnaire, with some research. She explained everything she was doing and was very cheerful and had a great attitude.. Carla was the quickest, least painful needle insertion I have had, between donating plasma and when I was donating whole blood every other month for several ye

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The process was done in a timely manner

A big no. With the exception of Lee and a few of the friendly men that work there, my experience has been unfortunately with the rude women that work there that make the experience unpleasant. I am extremely healthy and take exceptional care of myself. I make the time out of my busy day to donate and I am treated poorly. I definitely stand out more than the typical donor there and that makes me a target for insecure, unhappy women. Lexi yelled at me once when I overlooked a sign to check in. Her angry outbu

I have been donating for more than eight years. Carla has such a great technique , every time she has stuck me I have never felt the stick. He has such a wonderful personality and demeanor. I am grateful that you have her on the team.

The staff is ALWAYS kind & helpful. Always a great experience. Big shout out to Nicole & Ky- always cheerful and patient with us donors- gotta mention Rafael also - great humor.

I have been donating plasma off and on for numerous years. In all that time I've never had a poke feel almost unnoticeable. Carla is knowledgeable in her field and takes pride in her work. I would definitely recommend her, for anyone who is hesitant on the process of plasma donation, or anyone who wants an enjoyable interaction while donating. Nick is also top notch, he goes above and beyond in each encounter; I would recommend this branch just for these staff members!

I have been coming to Biolife - Hayden for the past few years and I have always been impressed with the staff and great service they provide. They recently upgraded their machines which improved the time it takes to donate! All of the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Lately I have received exceptional service from both Brandon and Cassie! It's nice being able to help others by donating plasma and to earn money while doing it. Thanks to everyone at Biolife for making this a rewarding experienc

Lee and ky were awesome! They were super welcoming along with a lot of the other staff members, I wish I remembered the name of one of the guys that was up front, he was doing a great job helping everyone, it was quite impressive. I loved my first time there and will definitely be back. Thanks everyone :D

I donated for the first time this week and had a great experience. I was walked through the whole process and it was all explained very well. I got a little dizzy toward the end because of first time jitters. They stopped the process, gave me snacks and a drink and talked me through it. I will be back and a little braver next time because it didn't end up being painful at all, it was just in my head.

I decided I wanted a bit of extra cash and, although I'm not great with blood or needles, decided that donating plasma was a great idea. Nicole checked me in and was very pleasant. Then I saw Lee who was the nurse that did my physical. She was also awesome and thorough. The donation went pretty well, but near the end I started to get nauseous and light-headed. I flagged down the first person I saw who happened to be Lexi and she immediately came to help me and make sure I was okay. Still not sure if I'll do

Everyone is so nice and helpful! Carla was so great getting me setup for my first appointment and Lee was so sweet during my physical. We chatted about family and life and she really made me feel comfortable.

I have been donating for about 4 months now and Ky has been the best! I request her everytime I donate if I can. She is always so nice, always smiling and makes me laugh everytime I come in. You can tell she loves her job! I cant say enough good things about her, give that girl a raise!!

Nice people and very quick at what they do, great place to go

The staff was ??! I loved the nurse her name is Lee. Real funny, and down to earth. Also the gal who took all my information down she did a great job. I always struggle when it comes to me having to find a fingerprint that works, she helped me find mine!! I love this place.Warm and welcoming..
