Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the friendly, professional staff and clean, efficient facilities, with many highlighting positive experiences during donations. However, some criticize long wait times, disorganization, and occasional unprofessional behavior. A few report painful or botched needle insertions, leading to dissatisfaction. While many donors appreciate the quick, comfortable process, others express frustration with inconsistent service, denied donations, or poor handling of issues. The overall sentiment leans positive, but recurring complaints about staff attentiveness and procedural errors suggest room for improvement.

Usually very good and clean, but there are sometimes you can be at the table waiting and waiting and others get seated and because they are talking so much they don't know the order you came in and the appointment is longer, except Fernanda she always acknowledges and tells you some will be right there. It does make a difference, sometimes you have things to do. But, Fernanda is fast, does her job quickly and when she hears your machine she immediately lets you know that it's heard. She should be a manage

I had a fantastic experience at BioLife Plasma! The facility is clean, well-organized, and runs efficiently. The technician who assisted me was especially outstanding?very professional, supportive, and made the entire process smooth and comfortable. Their caring attitude and attention to detail truly stood out. Highly recommend BioLife for anyone considering plasma donation!

I Came To Give Blood She Didn't Have The Clip On And put the iv Thing In My Arm And Tried To Hook The other tube to it before It. bleed Thro The Other Tube Then They Said I Would Have to to use the other arm Or Get Paid 20 Dollars Mrs.Arianna

This review is specifically for Gabriel. Been coming here for a couple years now and have had both good and bad experiences. But Gabe always has a smile and a friendly attitude. He's also very good at finding my veins and shows good concern for my comfort. I appreciate his attitude and attention to doner care.

Bad experience... to say the least, most of them are unfriendly and rude. I got treated like trash beneath them. I asked a question and was not given an answer other than she said..."I told you what I was doing," vs I asked why? She also had said "would you like to go somewhere else?" Wow, really professional. Then she proceeded to tell me I was rude when I just asked a question. The manager answered my question. Wow, how hard was it? It would be nice to be a first-time person. I'm not sure if everyone

I've been donating off and on for years now at different centers and this Irving center is my fave. It's quick, professional, and staff is friendly. Gabriel and soo many others here are pros with the sticking processes. I never feel a thing.

I have been coming to this location at least 6 months and I've had comfortable, clean and kind interactions every time. Today Alexis did my vitals and got me ready to donate. It always nice to see a familiar face and catch up.

My experience went well. Everything was quick and efficient. The nurse Patricia made sure everything was good and setup, did my physical and was donating in no time. Ariana N checked on me while donating and made sure I was ok. Discharged me after I was done immediately and was kind.

I've been coming here for over a year and never had any complaints. Everyone has been super kind very helpful and informative. Nurse Diana was fantastic and friendly she answered all my questions with full confidence and kindness, she provided excellent care to me.

1) The staff do not communicate professionally with donors. 2) Not a very friendly environment, no smiles from staff, no greetings, just very mechanical. Feels like they're herding cattle through the donation process. Customer service skills are lacking with techs thus not a priority for BioLife. 3) Some techs are great with the needle insertion, some need more training, some do damage and should not be sticking people with needles. 4) The organization seems to have a leadership problem - or lack of leaders

This is the best place I've ever been too .Lilliana should be promoted. She's polite professional and lets you feel like a person rather than just a donor . The whole crew here is top notch. I'd promote them all

I always feel great when I get there and leave there.the best feeling knowing that I'm helping someone in need. All the staff top notch. I hate needles really hate them.what help me through this is knowing I'm helping someone out there, for me that enough to help maleigha and all the staff that was there today I want to give a BIG THANK You TODAY and every other DAY for BEST FEELING

Best experience as a returning lapse donor, first Malia at vitals was friendly but efficient, Nurse Carolina made sure i understood all the new processes, then Ariana N. finished off the visit with the most painless donation I've had. Thank you everyone!

Patricia and Anthony were awesome!! Once I got back for the donation everything was very smooth, unfortunately my appointment was set for 11:15, I arrived at 11:00 and did not go back to start the donation process until 1:21. I understand that the first appointment is going to take longer because of the physical that's involved but to have to wait for over an hour and 15 minutes before someone speaks to you after you have been seated is unbelievable, unacceptable and very unprofessional. A manager was on

This location is wonderful. Juana, Ariana, Briana M, Lorenzo and Kaitlyn are friendly, always smiling and make the donors feel important. Thank you for caring

Gabe was pleasant and professional! Ancunna was very friendly and handled my arm with care and professionalism! Nurse Joan is such an absolute delight to talk to and be around! ????

This is the only location I have ever been to. With that said NEVER have had an issue at this place everyone is friendly and professional. Today Ariana N was great, give homegirl a raise!!!!!!! She gotta eat too!!!

I'd give them a 0 star but you can't. Worst center I've ever been to. They've stabbed straight through my vein multiple times causing bleeding and swelling for days after. And the event causing me to write this review happened just now. I had an appointment set for 2:55. I arrived at 2:59, well within the allowed 10 minute window. The door was locked and when I waved at one of the workers inside they looked at me and then ignored me and walked away. Since it's a Sunday I am now unable to complete my two don

Love this donation center. I been donating for 4 years and this by far is best location. The phlebotomist BRIAN is the BEST! He takes his time very respectfully and he is the only one who knows how to insert the IV without it being painful. Did I say he the best? If you ever paired with him, you will enjoy. Give that man a raise and promotion! This location has really changed for the good, that's why I drive 29 mins here. Come try them out!

They need to check the veins before they do the physical. It's ridiculous to make one go through the questionnaire and the physical only to be turned away because of issues with the veins. They could and should check that first. The nurse (Joan) and the lady who checked me in were wonderful. Honestly, Joan made the whole experience worth it, even though I was turned away.

This place is great ! If you want to lose all your blood cells, no accountability, and they gave you a Gatorade to make sure you don't die. I tried to come back to and see if they would take care of me since I lost so much blood cells. Last time. They wouldn't even honor a coupon. Don't waste your time here. Go other places. This is a bunch of run around, they obviously don't care about the clients. I'll be sure let people know not to come here. I do not leave negative reviews, but sometimes when we give bu

The staff was the best I've ever encountered; From Nurse Carolina to Bishwa(sorry if I misspelled it) who took my blood & Chris who answered all my questions! This was my 1st donation in years & it was the Smoothest donation ever! Clean & professional!

I visited once recently when exploring locations that had appointment times available early a particular morning. My experience was smooth. The person who did my screening and my phlebotomist were professional and friendly. My visit went smoothly, and I wouldn't mind returning to this location as an alternate for the center I primarily use.

Every visit was awesome except for the very last. One of the girl workers didn't follow proper procedures and while myself and 3 others were waiting for a bed she sent the 4th person behind us to one. I asked her why she did that as we had been waiting her reply was ?Oh, that's my bad? firstly, ?my bad? isn't appropriate or professional in what is supposed to be a professional medical environment?. Unless they aren't trying to be professional. So then, this girl is then assigned to the Green beds and one g

The worst experience I had.The nurse was extremely Rude and disrespectful. I had got a list of my meds from CVS and she told me she didn't want it that she needed my doctor to fill out a form of my meds I felt humiliated as if I forged the paperwork .As I was calling my doctor she told me to get off the phone not to use my phone in her office.Im 53yrs old I have never been disrespected and talked down to like she did.I never donated and probably won't. And I never got compensated for the time I wasted. Tha

I don't know how this place still operating and not been closed down. I decided to donate for the very first time ever so went to this place, I went through the whole process at the time they pinch my left arm was really hard and painful so 15 minutes after start the process they told me that they have to switch the needle to the right arm so I was confused but the second person did a bit better job. It's been 3 weeks and my left arm has a big purple surrounding around the pinch point and was bothering the

First time here. I was kinda nervous. Patricia made the whole the whole experience pretty easy and smooth. I was in and out. I will definitely be back.

I am a donor at BioLife Plasma at the Irving location! The facility is ALWAYS CLEAN, with no longer than a 10-15 minute wait, but mostly, it's less than five minutes till you're sitting to do a screening! Never have I waited any longer than 10 - 15 minutes to be screened. Once done with the screening process, I am USUALLY directed to a color area to start the donation process! I am NEVER IN THERE LONGER THAN AN HOUR AND A HALF!! And that's EVEN on a rare day that I go in and there is a line waiting to do th

I'm deeply disappointed with my experience at BioLife Plasma Services and feel compelled to share my concerns. In 2014, I was denied the opportunity to donate due to policies I now recognize as discriminatory. Recently, I discovered that my account had been permanently locked, preventing me from donating. A manager informed me that eligibility requirements had changed and that I should no longer be disqualified on the same grounds. However, when I contacted the original location for clarification, I receiv

Miss Carolina has been an extremely wonderful woman to have working at Biolife. She is helpful and considerate of all the clients. I am joyful everytime she is working and says hello. 10/10.

Ariana N took care of me and did and amazing job ! Very easy to work with and super gentle . I recommend her to anyone who comes to BioLife plasma in IRVING

Great experience every time I come to donate. Jeinci Z is great every time I get put in her section for my donation. Personable and efficient!

There's only one person that is able to get the needle right. (wish i remembered his name because he is also the nicest one too) I have had 5 donations only 2 of them being succesful because they always put the needle in wrong and it hurts. Both times it was successful was when he did it. Theres one lady that is rough and rude... pulled the needle out sideways and bruised he hell out of my arm

They are very very slow over there, they have no sense of urgency at all. I was waiting a hour on a bed and I had already been there a hour before that. Very very Less beds and very little staff that's lazy. On top of that I donated and I didn't get paid at all. SMH look just don't go here. Please pick another place for ur safety. On top of that they messed my vain up from sticking to hard and far in. I wish I could give this place a negative to be honest with u. I've never seen anything like this frfr.

Last time I donated plasma they missed my vein and caused alot of bruising . They had to stop and switch arms . The worker needs to take more care inserting the needle. My veins are easy to see.

Alexis was so kind to me today- but everyone at BioLife Irving is. They get you in and out, but never rush you- always monitoring and providing helpful support.

Alexis and Carolina made the experience so easy and very welcoming! Its refreshing to see such positive people so early in the morning! Thanks y'all!

I donate regularly at BioLife. Top notch!! Gabe is a fantastic guy! Always considerate and thorough. I highly recommend both BioLife and ask for Gabe!

Yuneisy is great very friendly and knows what she is doing!!!! I never feel the poke and she is always smiling keep it up

Awesome service and Gabriel is a very friendly and courteous person and Serena answered some questions about protein levels and diet that were Very helpful AWESOME STAFF

Professional atmosphere. Clean and comfortable. Great music is a bonus! Nurse Patricia was great!

Fantastic service, all 4 employees I had the pleasure of dealing with were awesome. Mrs. Joan is a very funny professional.

I went to bio life and was reluctant because of having to make appointment but I went any way and the staff was warm welcoming quick efficient and pretty jazzy lol if I do say so myself the machines to check in are quick and Diana the nurse practitioner was very knowledgeable I'm glad I went that's my new spot the money helps through tough times just started new lob with 3 kids

Worst Blood donation location Ever!!! Management treats employees like crap, no communication, and phone messages never returned. Do not donate here go to CSL or Prosesis so much better then here.

Kaytlin at BioLife is a great phlebotomist she is on her game and quick. She makes donating fun and fast.

i love fernanda personality and she always makes my day! she sticks me the best ??

Nurse Joan is always amazing every time I come in. She is a joy and blessing to see each time.

Good facility depending on what time you arrive. I have waited up to an hour after my initial appointment time to get serviced, they will seat you and have you wait for almost 20 minutes before even inserting the needle to extract the plasma, and be careful who you get as the person servicing you, I was waiting 20 minutes only for them to rush through the process and they inserted the needle haphazardly which led to discomfort during my donation. any other plasma location i?ve visited has made a point not t

Alexis & Carolina made me feel very comfortable and walked me through the process made everything smooth and comfortable!!! Grateful ????

Nurse Patricia was soooo nice ! She answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable !

Ariana N did a good job. She's kind and gentle. Will be returning!!!!

These guys are awesome Alexis is a good dude and all the techs are awesome!

This plasma center was really nice at first , now that I'm a continuous donor , I schedule my appointments on time , mind you , I drive over 20 minutes to get to my appointments In time just for them to tell me that I don't have an appointment. I asked nicely to talk to the supervisor but he simply said the supervisor said no , he couldn't help me with the appointment. That it has to be the app . Okay that's fine but the thing is , it's very inconvenient for a lot of people to take Time out of their day to

Always a pleasant experience and the employees are helpful. Thank you Gabe the scan the QR code to leave my review l.

Biolife tech are very good at making sure that you are doing well on your donation days and Carolina and Alexis are great with helping

I come for the extra money and stay for the donations. Great setup but stay hydrated because it can make a harder process. Great plasma vibes.

The service is great Ashley Zavala did a great job at attending and inserting the needle one of the best

I'm writing a review because this place is false advertising. I came 8/17 as their promotion mentions you can get up to $750 in a month. I was able to get paid $90 8/17 and since have came back 3 different times, each time being denied to donate. Each time it is something, today I was told I have to get a new sample in order to donate. I was told 8/24 to come back 8/28 to get the sample and donate. Here I am 8/28 and am being told the same they need a sample and can't donate until the results are back. I wa

Kat and Monet have excellent skills at needle insertion, this is important to me, as well as they are kind and genuine.

Alexis is super sweet super engaged and always has a smile on his face ! Go ALEXIS !!!!

Alexis was great and friendly! Made the check in process very comfortable!

They will cheat you out of your money! If you have donating before in the past, you will never be considered a new donor again and they are not required to tell you that. You basically will be wasting your time by getting your normal donor fee. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

I had an appointment at 2:30 pm for my first donation but the staff had me waiting for over an hour before getting my physical exam done, after that, they had me waiting by the plasmapheresis machine for another 45 minutes before the procedure started and got out of there by 6 pm. I think the experience for the donors could improve if the staff could respect the donor's time. Besides that, they were kind and always spoke in a respectful manner.

Employees were very kind and super efficient. I went in the late afternoon as a new donor. They were super busy and were working quickly but everyone took the time to explain the process to me at every step and I did not feel rushed at all even though they were moving as quick as they could. Amazing staff, thank you so much for a great first experience!

Anthony was awesome! Made me feel not so nervous

Good place ms.Arianna R. Helps me every time they can

Lorenzo and Brie were such sweet hearts and great customer service ????

Friendly staff and streamlined process makes donating a breeze, Gabriel was awesome.

Gabriel did a really good job of sticking me, gentle and respectful

Alexis and Carolina was awesome as first time donor the answered all my questions and concerns. Thank

You guys need more employees it takes an hour to an hour in a half just to check in. And when finally you are next they are just talking about their personal life?s in front of everyone PLEASE BE PROFESSIONAL. I really hope the manager tells them something. Most of the time they only have 2 persons checking in , please hire more staff so the line can go faster and don't talk about your personal life and how much you hate working there ?. Stay professional please.

Where do I start? First thing to note this location has went so far down hill in the last year. When it takes from 10:45-12:45 to do a SIMPLE donation that in it's self should be a bit concerning for a manager or you would think it would. Sitting in a donation chair waiting for an hour to be stuck just ain't it. The employees have no consideration for the donors time. This place needs help fast.

This place is the worst when it comes to time I don't think the technicians know what they are doing they are so slow. I have been to other plasma centers and at bio life it takes about 30-45mins longer to even get started the tech D'Angelo wasn't even seen in the service area. Go elsewhere to save time. If this is the closest place ro you be sure to avoid the tech D'Angelo he won't be around to get you hooked up until an hour later

This is my first visit at this location and was not satisfied with the service. I had gotten drawn from my left arm for the first time from Ariana. After poking me, she said ?I'm surprised I was able to get your vein. Not like I'm not able to, but I haven't drawn plasma from an unmarked arm.? It's been two days after my visit and I am currently experiencing bruising and pain. This makes me wonder if there are other employees at this location who are not qualified.

I like to go here. It's very nice I like.. the only thing I would say is that I don't like when sometimes we as patients, donors are ignored by the staff because the staff is talking and laughing about something and we need assistance. I would say is they seem like at times they need a bit more organization or staff to help. I have been there for almost 3 hours with an appointment and still have to do my own personal things. Overall like I said I like going here and ill keep going. Management just nee

Y?all so I've NEVER donated plasma in my life!! However I donate blood at school. So I was like let me try to see if I can donate plasma and be compensated! My first visit was great!! I met 2 Aquarius staff and they were amazing!!! However, when it was time for them to stick me the lady that stuck me missed the vein and went fishing!! That was painful, but the donation process was a success. The second donation was similar a different lady stuck me however she had to go get another lady to fish the needle i

I have no complaints on this facility alone. The staff is friendly, the environment is clean, and they do their best to get donors in and out as quickly as possible. However, I was dissatisfied with my most recent visit. The staff member that injected the needle into my arm didn't puncture the vein correctly, leaving me bruised and sore for several days. Keep in mind, I've been going to this facility for a while and never ran into this issue until recently. Certain staff members are experts at injections, w

So slow compared to other locations. Got here at 1:40 for when I was scheduled. Only a few people in line and it took about 20 minutes to get the review done. It then took an additional 20 minutes sitting waiting for the tech to actually get to me to draw my blood. It wasn't full, they were all just moving extremely slow. The lady right by me was done with her donation when I sat down by her and it took them 15 minutes just to get her out. No respect for people?s schedule or time, won't be coming back to t

I actually use to like coming here. They were quick and efficient. Lately things have seem to gone downhill. They always have a whole section closed off with 10 beds. I'm sitting in waiting area with 18 other people. So something that should take less than an hour is probably going to be 2 or more. There are a few people who smile and talk, but if you aren't a first time donor you are treated like you aren't really anyone. Besides the very few that seem people friendly and try to make it comfortable for yo

I was apprehensive to start donating plasma but every experience so far has been at the very least - great. Damaris and Evy have been the best. Damaris walked me through everything on my first donation and Evy was very kind. Almost every staff member I've talked to has been nice and helpful. I look forward to continuing donating at this center!

All employees are extremely rude. DONT EVER EXPECT to be seen at your scheduled appointment time. You will be there standing in line for an hour before the screening process. Then another 15-30 minutes before you get a bed. Once you actually get a bed it'll most likely be other 5 -10 minutes before your donation begins. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CENTER TO ANYONE.

This is the cleanest BioLife I've been to! Ariana N was friendly and professional.

Devia & Joan were awesome. Made it simple and joked around

Please, please RUN far away from this facility. Avoid at all costs. *Please consider the following information carefully, with support of the provided photos, before you decide to become a donor with Biolife Plasma.* 3/14/2023 - My first time donating with Biolife Plasma - Irving Location. I was interested in trying them out due to a $1000 promo for 8 donations within 30 days. During my visit, I encountered a number of issues that led to a painful and prolonged injury. Despite arriving early for my appoint

I waited 2 hours for my physical & donation. Came in at 1:30pm, then finally got taken care of at 3pm ONLY because I had to remind them that I'm still waiting & that I may need to reschedule. When I finally got into the exam room, I was told because I'm diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, I would need a note from my physician in order to donate. I have been donating at THREE different plasma centers & it was NEVER an issues AND I have donated to BioLife before with no issues on my mental illness

Donating plasma is the worst experience I have ever had and that's for all the companies including biolife. I won't recommend donating ever to anyone

Friendly staff, process was quick and facility clean except for restrooms.

So this was my 4th donation. I was taken off the machine because of possible injury. I did not complain while it was hurting. Unfortunately i am used to unconfortable pressure while donating here. Im rating 5 soley because the lady who came to check the machine when it stopped to restart it asked if i was in pain and i said yes, so she lowered the pressure, than she noticed that if the donation continued i would get a clot and or bruising. I was sent to the nurse statiin to recover. But i asked her, how did
