Everyone at this location is really nice; however, I do think they are not well organized. Last time, I was finished, and the machine was going off for like 10-15 minutes, but nobody was coming to help me until I asked an employee. I feel like the process could be more efficient if everyone was on top of their tasks.

G.G. is a great sticker. And she is a GREAT TRAINER. SHE TRAINED JADE, AND IT WAS THE FASTEST I EVER DONATED. THANK YOU LADIES

When I went for my first donation on Sunday everything went ok. I was in and out in a little over two hours. Most of the staff was professional and kind. Then today(Thursday) I went for my second donation. My arm had bruised a little from the first donation and the staff acted like I was a heroin addict, multiple times asking if the bruise was from them or something else. Then they did a vein a check on my other arm and claimed I couldn't donate even though on Sunday they had told me I had good veins and co

Bio Life... I am highly disappointed with the services you all provide. I was treated by a young lady, by the name of jade. She was extremely rude and very unpleasing. She was extremely aggressive when handling me. After she inserted the needle, shortly after I told her it felt a bit uncomfortable. She ignored me. I waived her down several times, she just kept saying, " its going to okay". Completely ignoring my pleads for assistance. Shortly after another person had to come over and assist because she clea

BioLife Plasma Services in Joliet is ALWAYS impeccably clean, and their staff is kind, cautious, and efficient. No matter what day of the week, what time of day, or how busy the facility is or isn't, my experience has consistently been outstanding. Every staff member does their job carefully and courteously. I am continually impressed and grateful to be able to come donate in such a positive environment.

Arrived at 10:45am for my 11:00am appointment, and right off the bat was greeted with a rude introduction by the individual at the front desk. This is/was my first time donating plasma, so I am very new to the process. Having that interaction to start off my appointment already created a horrible experience. I sat in the waiting room from 10:45-1:30 WAITING to be brought back to the donation area. Once I finally got brought back, my arms were examined for roughly 15 seconds total only to be told I could not

The staff at the Joliet lounge location are amazing. Super friendly and helpful, not to mention knowledgeable about the nuences of their job. As someone who is alive because of blood, platelets, and plasma donation it feels great to give someone else a chance at a fulfilled job.

Just be ready to be there about 2-4 hours - I have gone at all different times of the day and not matter what 95 % of the time am waiting that long . The worst is when you wait forever in line and then if they have a new donor- that person gets to automatically go to the front of the line , before everyone else that has patiently been waiting an hour or more . Last week that happened to me , I was next to be taken back , then 2 new donors , were put in front of me.

I've donated plasma before at CSL, but I recently switched to BioLife. I was pleasantly surprised by BioLife's operations. Kim, Adriana, Selena, and Ashley were the ladies who helped me today with my first donation. They were amazing. Each and everyone was charismatic, friendly, and incredible! The wait wasn't long at all, and the place was relatively busy. Multiple staff members checked in on me during the process

Almost perfect. App needs to include vitals. At times wait times, after seated, to get your donations started/closed can take up to waiting for 10 min. I once seen the man sitting across from me waiting 30 min. He just sat there patiently.

Arisa is the consummate professional. She is always extremely polite and professional. I rate her 10 stars ?? !!!!

I have donated here and CSL. Recently came back for 800 promotion. They returned blood into my arm after I said it hurts, and I battled through it. I always finish and they can see in my records my veins are good. Now they robbed me from my full 800 and I cannot go to CSL. Avoid avoid avoid. They should at least pay you until its gone. Look at this!!!!!! Updated photos to 6 days later. Update again 9 days later is pictures.

Always packed, not enough employees working. No type of flow to get people in and out. Plan to spend hrs just waiting to get vitals done. Biolife needs to are more about peoples time, time is important and should be one of the first things they look into improving. Considering the little $ amount your paying people, at least get a efficient flow in place.

The staff is very friendly and attentive but the wait time is ridiculous. If people have to make appointments they should be able to schedule accordingly. I am very thankful that the saline issue has been resolved.

Mostly friendly people and I've never had a bad stick. BUT?the wait time is horrible. The appointment availability does not seem to match the staff working and they always end up overwhelmed. I've spent as long as 3 hours here for what should be about an hour for me.

All staff kind, caring and courteous. They work with you to get the best experience. Professional and friendly. Selena is very sweet.

Most of the girls taking vitals are very patient except for the one wearing the scarf she seems to have her own agenda on how she treats certain people. But the girls taking donations are very professional and pleasant to interact with.

The staff att bio life are very professional and polite at the one I utilize the most in Stevens point and I have had no issues or complaints. They are consistently the best on getting someone in and out in a reasonable time.

Short staff, waited 20 mins to have the needle remove after filling the plasma bottle. Also you gotta becareful who injects you cause if u have a bruise after your first time the se ins time u can not go until that bruise goes, so of course u miss your higher second time in a week pay. And u gotta start again until the bruise is gone, I don't think it's fair they need to trainee they staff until they are ready and not just throw them on the floors injecting and bruising our arms

Just had an appointment for 12:55 and it's currently 2:32 and I am not even stuck yet. Do not go here. They make you make appointments just so you can stand around for 3 hours wasting your schedule. Completely unprofessional

They refuse to staff enough front end help. I waited over an hour just to be screened for my last two donations. They could do a good job if the company wanted to, but they refuse to staff enough people. At $40 a donation, it's around $20/hour that you get. It's not worth it.

The staff are all very friendly, welcoming, and appear to take their jobs seriously, so I felt confident that the donation was performed safely and properly. However, the people in charge of scheduling (both staff scheduling and appointment scheduling) need to make lots of improvements. I had to wait for just over 2 hours before being able to donate, which is much longer than it should be in my opinion. I believe this could have been avoided by either scheduling more staff or scheduling fewer appointments.

Gianna, Jade, Selena and Adriana are awesome! They are very professional friendly n can always make a bad day good. They always find the vein right away I highly recommend them

I have never donated plasma before so I didn't know what to expect. Literally, from the moment I walked in the door, my experience was amazing. I was never left in the dark; the process was explained to me in great detail, and this really put my mind at ease. Once it came time for me to actually donate plasma, I had a fabulous man hooking me up to the machine. He is a Supervisor named George. He is so knowledgeable. I learned a lot about plasma and donating. All of the workers I encountered today were s

Very clean and efficient place to donate the staff Is friendly and helpful. Shout out to Vanessa and asucena for making my donation experience as easy and comfortable as possible. They went out of their way to make sure not only me but every person in thier section was comfortable and at ease.

My 18y/o went here recently and had a horrible experience. He complained that his IV was painful, they adjusted it and then 1 minute later it started spraying his blood all over almost hitting the donor next to him. He called for help and he said a few workers just stared at him like they had no idea what to do. This bruise is from almost 2 weeks ago.

Idk how they God rid of my review but here it is again. Don't bother going here. They don't keep appointment times so what is the point of making an appointment? Give yourself a couple hours if you do.

Greg was Exceptional. He went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed for a successful donation.

This place is great. Never any problems . Employees are prompt and courteous. Laraun was great ??! 10 out of 5 stars !!!! Keep up the great work!! I look forward to coming here twice a week. Wish it was more often. Can't wait until Friday!!!

Everytime I go there. I spend an hour or more just waiting to start my donation. Then another hour to donate. The biolife in romeoville will have you donating in about 20 min. Csl on jefferson is about the same. The employees seem to have a very relaxed idea about work.

For what I understand about this process it's a pretty nice place but my nurse attendance Laura takes her time and explained what you could do and what you could do very nicely lady

The wait/donation times have massively improved over this last year. And Lauren always makes sure its a pleasant and seamless process. Top tier professionalism for sure!

Staff here at BioLife are courteous and prompt. Very considerate and have a knowledge for what they're doing. I enjoy coming here to donate more than anywhere else and have taken the time to get to know some of the staff through interaction and continued donating process. They do a fine job as a team and is that reason that keeps bringing me back

Extremely pleased with my experience, Lauren and Francisco were very pleasant to work with and seemed very knowledgeable. The team stayed vigilant and checked on me every few minutes. It was great

Love this place, the people are so kind and courteous. My experiences are usually very pleasant and expeditious here, and I've built some good friendships with the stuff, such as Lauren who is always on top of her duties. Everyone here deserves a raise, but she especially does.

Lauren is great! She is so nice and talkative and always apologizes if there is a wait even though she has no control over that. She knows what she is doing and does a quick poke when she gets you set up, it doesn't even hurt

I came to the Joliet location because I'm traveling and didn't want to mess up my schedule. Lauren was great!! Very friendly and explained everything about the saline shortage, we haven't experienced that yet where I'm from.

Nurses are very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. They make the process smooth. Place is very clean and organized. Ive had the phlebotomist Lauren multiple times and she is awesome ??

My first experience went amazing my Flabottomist Jeorge was very informative about the process and I had no bruising or soreness and answered all my questions ??

Overall good experience, I will say that some of the workers move in slow motion, I understand they may be short staffed at times, however act like you care and at least give the impression, little sense of urgency folks! When you have multiple clients waiting to be stuck/unstuck, I dont believe its appropriate to communicate the staffs breaks and continually walk away. Give me a break & let me get out of there, I'm normally patient but not with inefficiently, 2.5 hours is long enough, keep up the good work

There is a rep named Lauren that does very well in servicing and communicating with us as customers/guests. I never get a sting or a pinch whenever she inserts the needle into my arm. I appreciate how well she interacts

I had a very pleasant experience during my first time donating plasma. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I was happily surprised at how clean and organized this facility is. I was given clear and concise directions as to what to expect and I felt I was given the same attention as everyone else. I visited this location on a Saturday and while my first visit was rather long, I fully expected to be there about 3-4 hrs. Everyone was very friendly. I wish I would have gotten all of their names to tha

The staff is great, which is why the joliet location got 2 stars! but the wait times are insane! I have had over a dozen times where I've made an appointment, showed up, and had over 10 people just waiting to get vitals. It's just not worth it to stay at that point, so I leave and basically end up wasting about 45 minutes (driving to and from the location) of my day.

They just put a deferral on anybody that they don't like nurses have narcissistic attitudes

Much better than CSL. Most employees are friendly, process much quicker than CSL. Pay varies and like all plasma places wish they paid more but on par with CSL

Went through the whole process to donate and my doc sent medical documents back to them and I've left at least half a dozen voice-mails and they refuse to call me back. Waste of my valuable time. I'm dropping my rating as they still cannot seem to return a simple phone call. Poor service for a place that claims they want to help people. Again still doesn't return calls. Why have a voicemail service and still refuse to call back? Had to take a break from my new donors donations due to my mother passing aw

I would like to formally make a complaint against employee Elizabeth. I am a frequent donor and on today I finished my donation and I was patiently waiting to be disconnected. In my section I finished first, then two other donors finished after me. Elizabeth skipped me, and went to disconnect another donor. Then she skipped me again, and went to disconnect another donor. I politely asked her, are you skipping me? Then I asked, can you tell who finished first? She responded no, and then went to say that I'm

So much better than CSL that screwed up putting the needle in and my arm swelled so I had to call a nurse over to stop it. Bruised the hell out of my arm for 2 weeks and then they dropped me as a donor and refused to let me put a hold on my promotion that they screwed me out of just because one nurse stuck me wrong, literally had nothing to do with me. I called her over 3 times she kept telling me to wait when I kept telling her there's a freaking bubble forming under my skin and she was just checking machi

My first visit was a very welcoming one. Everything was explained thoroughly. I'll definitely be back

This place take forever to get done with ur pok n even long for the process over 2hours , while other place u r don't in 30 mints

I went here to donate and they said I can't because I mentioned I have diabetes. I had to get my doctor to send them letters of approval to do it. I did it and had it faxed to Biolife two week prior to my next appointment. I went in and they told me the doctor didn't get around to approve of my donation despite being there yesterday. The doctor is only there once, maybe twice week and I have to wait AGAIN! Also, when I showed them my social security card, the nurse(?) didn't think it was a social security

This Biolife location is great! Kim G was awesome and quick with my vitals. 10/10 stick by Greg!! I didn't even feel it at all and it made my session super comfortable!

I was very nervous going in because I have a fear of needles but the nurse that took care of me was so nice and gentle. He helped calm me down and even stayed with me for a minute to make sure I was okay. Can't wait to donate again!

DO NOT COME TO BIOLIFE JOLIET AT ALL! Lack of knowledge and care led to bruising and pain , these photos happened 10 days after my biolife incident on 11/17/21 where this place focuses on volume instead of proper care. Was told by two supervisors that the nurses were busy and to ask about my concern On another day like if my concern was not an issue. Get this on 11/23/21 I was STILL ALLOWED to donate after the arm check , instead of sending me to a nurse. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had and I

Gregory is by far the nicest worker I could?ve had for my first time donating. I will be coming back and requesting him! Thank you to the helpful staff, it meant the world to feel so cared for.

I have never understood the purpose of even having set appointment times, because they rarely ever honor your time. Which i had gotten used to knowing there is going to be some type of wait. But the last appointment i had at the Joliet location, was by far the worst. When i walked through the front doors there was a line bigger than i had ever experienced. Many upset people in line as they had obviously been waiting for a long time. And i counted at least 10-15 people open the doors and turn around and wal

Understaffed all the time. Long lines today was the day that settled wether or not I should find another donation center. I Was done with my donation and sat there for almost 30 minutes waiting to be wrapped up. I contemplated just taking the needle out my damn self and wrapping it up. My arm is sore from the needle just sitting there never had this happen before.

The employees are hard working and skilled, but they are wayyy understaffed. This leads to long wait times getting on and off the machine.

Every experience I've had at BioLife has been outstanding. Staff is courteous, professional, and extremely hardworking. The facility is clean and all procedures are done with the utmost care and cleanliness EVERY TIME. I have never felt rushed; every donor is treated with the same compassion.

Scheduled appointment for 2:10 didn't get to a chair for a long time then waited 30 minutes to be hooked up to a machine. I was frustrated that the process took so long when I had an appointment. Staff at the front was also fighting/ arguing amongst themselves, but it was loud enough for customers to hear which was also concerning.

Everyone I have had and encountered is super nice and amazing at what they do! Lauren especially was extra kind and down to earth! Super clean! Love this place

This center is very well established. My visit was very exciting and it was very easy to follow their instructions of the process. I was basically in and out in no time. The GREATEST THING OF ALL WAS EVERYONE AND EVERY PROCESS!?.. THE STAFF ARE WONDERFUL.. THANKS TO EVERYONE AT BioLife Plasma Services!?.. THEY NEED A RAISE ESPECIALLY FOR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE!? NO JOKE..

Arias has been the person I have allowed to perform her job. She's the person I feel 100% comfortable once I arrive to give plasma. She's out of this world AMAZING

I made my first appointment to donate plasma with Biolife Joliet. The website said first time donors can expect to spend 2 hours at the donation center. 1 hour at subsequent donations. I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early. I waited at the front desk for 10 minutes without direction. A staff member approached the desk, started to check me in and said that it was a 3-4 hour wait. Staff also said that they only had 1 nurse working. I told her that I could not wait that long and I would reschedule. T

Good afternoon this was my second time at this facility and I was definitely not happy being deferred for no good reason. I didn't have any bruises on my arm. My donation was sufficient, and I just feel like I am being unfairly targeted due to the fact that this is not my main donation location. If I could?ve given zero stars, I would?ve

They did not give me the return donor rate like other centers. So I won't be back

I have gone to give plasma at BioLife and was a little embarrassed when I initially went. I originally went because they offered $850 to give plasma and I had something I wanted to do with that money. When I was there and talking with others everyone had a financial dilemma and this was a great easy fix. A couple was doing it to pay for dance class and another gentleman was doing it for a family situation. I was very happy with the staff and their friendliness. They are patient and gentle when working with

I've been going here for around a year and in November the wait time was 2-2 1/2 hours for giving plasma. I don't know what they've done but the last couple weeks it's taken me an hour! It's fabulous to walk in and not see a line wrapping around the corner. Everyone is so friendly and the staff is always joking and laughing with each other. Love the changes they've made in the past month!

First time donor and this went way more smoothly than expected! The staff at the Joliet location was great,Dakota, Michelle and Adrianna were informative and friendly, they made the whole experience comfortable. I definitely recommend this location.

Power was cut during a storm recently. I already had a new donor promotion running that ended during that time the power was down. I also had an appointment and intentions to donate before the end of the promotion. When I called and asked I got no actual answers and was told to check my email later because ?they would send an email for it?. So stupid. Then I came in today to donate. (For 40$ instead of the initial 100$ I would have got) and waited 25minutes in the chairs for donating before being skipped ov

If you want to go to a center that values their donors time, go to Crest Hill, IL. They won't even let you check in until 10 minutes prior or post your selected appointment time. Their is never a long line and the workers there are on it. There is a particular woman there checking vitals that is a bit of a grouch but once you're past her it's smooth sailing. I'd rather come here for all my donations but unfortunately this location is closed on Mondays.

The new member bonus is a hoax. I been going twice a week with everything being great and had two draws left. Went in and they said I have a fever and another tech told her to take it again and Maria said NO, no need to do it twice. I was shocked and went home and took my temperature and it was 97.4 I was fine with nothing wrong but now on a list not to draw for 2 weeks but Maria told me 24 hours. Such a scam Won't go back to donate ever

Donated a handful of times now and had zero issues. The techs are professional and make sure that you're comfortable. The promo offer was great ($850) and referral bonuses are a nice plus. Highly recommended.

Incredible team full of helpful and nice workers. Very good place to go to.

The people are helpful and friendly. The facility is clean. Once you get in the chair it usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour. They should up the pay more money. They play some good music and it's up beat To keep you moving.

DO NOT GO HERE! I've never donated plasma before - or now. The place is very unsanitary - no changing of gloves at all, dried blood on the counter in front of me while she was trying to take my sample, used bleach cleaner after it was mentioned but then didn't change her gloves before poking me again! I waited 45 min past my appointment time just to initially get called back. She messed up, had to poke me twice for a sample, messed up the second sample and a supervisor, Eniya, who was overseeing her very ru

First time donor. Other than being there for almost 5 hours, my experience was nice. I give major props to the manager Jiana who took a very loud verbal assault by someone, she remained very professional the whole time. I just wanted to give her a hug after it happened. The nurse was nice, kept apologizing for being so long, the lady who hooked me up and disconnected me was very nice. Location was very clean. I just hope my next visit is a little quicker.

I would like to compliment supervisor Samuel as he does a great job at running the ship and is a competent leader. I'm very impressed with his positive attitude and knowledge and ability to delegate responsibilities. Just some observations I've made during my many visits! Keep up the good work Samuel!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place takes far too long to even screen let alone stick. Some of the staff are unprofessional and if you got a bruise on one arm you can't donate at all even though it's completely their fault because they don't know how to stick you right . I've donated at CSL for a while and other donors that donate at the same day as me have said they prefer CSL due to the speed of which donors come in and out and over all happier faces. Pay was a bit better but I would never wait 2

Lauren was great and attentive while there. She did a great job and didn't ended feel the stick

jasmine is so gentle and sweet and making sure i was good when removing my needle, she's great!

The process might take a while for first time donors, but it's all to make sure you're all good and that understand everything. Unfortunately for me it took a bit longer to donate once it started because my veins are too selfish ?? and I'm guessing the flow was slow. Over all it was a great first experience as a donor.

Went 8 times the staff treat u like they never saw u before. The man who was to take me as his patient walked away and some girl poked my arm instead. She missed I was bruised really badly I'll never go back there again.

You can get more help and more training is needed, have been here twice on this coupon. Each time I couldn't return due bruises and swelling. Causing me to miss out on my coupon deadline. Over the years I have always finished my coupon out before deadline. Without any interruptions. Coupons should be extended, when there's a lack of training. I'm here again today I did ask if something can be done, I pray they don't mess my arms up today, thanks.

This location is scheduling way too many people at 1 time. How do you have a scheduling system yet still allow for 20+ people to be waiting for vitals?!?!?! terrible mgmt. should be fired. period. lemme help... you have 3 sections open. 18 chairs. 3 associates on the floor. 1 on break rotation. 1 hookup or detatch per 5 minutes. 12 operations per associate. 36 operations/ph for 3 ppl. With 4th associate doing breaks allows for another 6ish operations/ph. 42ops. 21 people per hour. if time slots are every 5

I truly appreciate the kind atmosphere of people working at BioLife! Lines are usually moving along quickly and I feel great knowing it's helping immune disorders research and making extra money at the same time.

The appointment process is broken. You pick a time and when you arrive you're told it will be 2 hour wait. Why use appointments at all? New patients get moved ahead of those that have already donated. They are understaffed, but the appointment option does not reflect the lack of staff. The system needs to be updated to reflect actual status. This is not in control of the staff at the location, this is a corporate fix that needs to be done. If you're looking to give for givings sake, a 2 hour wait with an h

Staff is friendly but that's about the only positive thing I can say about this place. Joliet location is ridiculously slow. Had an appointment for 1PM. Didn't get into a bed until 2:30PM and didn't start donating until 3PM. 2 hours of waiting WITH an appointment is unacceptable. Management here needs to be replaced with more competent individuals.
