I had a lovely experience, everyone is very friendly. The staff is happy to explain everything if needed. I was running late with work and was still able to keep my appointment. The appointment system is fast and easy. Pay is instant and loaded on a card. They even have a buddy bonus ?? coupons sent to you to help you make even more money. Couldn't have asked for a better first time donor experience. If you are thinking of trying the experience I highly recommend BioLife as the place to start.
When I first started coming here a few weeks ago everyone was super kind and the process was super quick to get into a bed and get started. I'd been donating at CSL off and on for a couple years and wanted to try BioLife because I'd heard they had higher payouts. However I'm currently sitting in line at the center an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment. My son is waiting for me to get home so we can spend time together for his birthday and none of the staff seem to care. No one is saying anythin
Always enjoy donating it feels wonderful knowing that you are helping people who need it. Looking forward to getting back so I can continue my donations. Unfortunately I am visiting family in NC and donation centers a very few and far between.
I have had good service experiences from all staff and technicians here, but this time it calls for recognition. My technician today (Sierra) was so kind and professional by greeting me warmly and sharing some light humor, showing empathy for an injury I have and addressing my misaligned veins appropriately. She stayed attentive throughout the process and exhibits a genuine caring approach to her interactions with myself and others. My donation process was amazing having met her.. Thank you Sierra, for your
On Nov 20th, I had my first appointment with biolife. Everything was going smoothly during my donation, but then the machine kept kicking off while it was in my right arm. Every time I asked why this happens, I was not given a clear answer. After a few more times of the machine kicking off, the girl working in my area attempted to switch to my other arm and in doing so , she immediately panicked and ran to get a supervisor. nobody could explain to me what happened or why, i was rushed out as soon as possibl
BioLife is very on point and sociable. They get you through the process in a fast safe manner. I recommend any one looking for a friendly and clean plasma center to join them BioLife is the place for you. 2nd review: Fastest donation process I ever seen
I'd like to share my experience with the donation service. My appointment was scheduled for 8:40 AM, but the service didn't start until 40 minutes later. The entire process ended at 12 PM. Additionally, I noticed that other clients who had appointments around the same time also finished within a similar timeframe. This indicates that despite having scheduled appointments, there was a significant wait time for everyone. Furthermore, I was supposed to receive $80, but I only received $45. This was quite disap
I'd give it 5 stars except the nurse had pulled me aside and said I needed my Dr to sign off on some paperwork stating that I'm clear to donate, mind you I've been donating there for a longo time and no one's ever said anything to me. Someone put in my chart that I am allergic to iodine when I never stated that! Now I can't donate unless my Dr signs off, which is crap because I never stated this and I don't have a Dr to begin with. Also please note they've used iodine on me right there in clinic before with
This location never honors appointment times. Every visit has been 2 hours+. Donors shouldn't have to wait 30 min+ just to be screened (and possibly rejected!!). Or wait 30 min+ to get disconnected and end their session.
I have to leave this review since I already leave this place. So since this happened as today 2-27-2025. Meg the nurse, just did the Deaf Discrimination. She does not accept me to do the donation because of 2 vains in my one of arm are a bit close to each other and does not allow for the other arm due of my communication. I told them that they could do my other arm. Meg stayed firm rejected it. Her attitude really stinks straightforward to me at the beginning. Right now I have to file this to ADA process. V
What a place!!! Going to Vegas and their bonus program for the month really kicked in!!! Angela the manager was super nice, knowledgeable and funny. Made my first time donating as comfortably as possible. Thank you guys so much. You too Angela!
I'm excited to finally be able to give a review for this outstanding place! BioLife Plasma in Lacey: I cannot say enough great things about BioLife Plasma! From the moment you walk in, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure every patient feels comfortable and cared for. Everyone is so friendly, professional, and attentive?it's clear they genuinely care about your well-being. They take the time to explain the process, answer any questions, and make sure you're at ease every step of the way. The facility
I had donated many times before but I always used my right arm. When I went in last I used my left arm and the technician was struggling to find my vein and you could tell she was very hesitant or unsure. I didn't think anything of it since she eventually found my vein. Literally about 10 minutes later I started to feel lightheaded and as if I was going to pass out. There was a tech near by and I was going to ask for help but they were walking away and I wasn't able to get my words out before I passed out.
Biggest question is how much do you value your time? If it's anything around less than about $23ish for a hour it's not worth doing. Sometimes you can skate by with the first visit only being about a hour but the second always being later in the week takes about 2-3 hours. Usually over a hour wait to get on a machine for 30-40 min and wait another 10-20 to get off of it People are all nice and it's clean but what's the point in all that if it's not worth your time?
Had two experiences during two separate occasions where I had to endure pain during my donations and both times the donation was cut short. The first time it was because my vein was apparently too small even though I had donated from the same arm a week ago. Two different individuals attempted to adjust the needle which caused me more pain. The second time the donation was terminated almost 3/4 of the donation due to my apparent diet. Ended up only receiving $20 for the first donation. Where as my spouse r
I spent 3 hours at the Lacey location. I've donated before several years back (different company), it went just fine. They sat me down and the supposed EXPERT phlebotomist felt my veins and said they were no good. I had been hydrating for 24 hours. They said come back and try again another day. What? To tell me the same thing?? They could have checked my veins FIRST thing when I got there!! There's NOTHING wrong with them and I will NEVER come back! What a waste of my time and gas!
Amazing team, love everyone here. Sometimes our wait time is horrendous other days it's not. Everyone was helpful answering questions. Only complaint I have was at first donation the nurse doing the physical said i would get $100 for referral but didn't tell me it would be after their second donation. The person i referred did their 2nd donation today and I only got an extra $50. I love doing this for people that need the plasma as I've always been a helper and I will continue to go but please fix the issue
they just literally never answer the phone, like ever. I've tried calling in the morning, afternoon, later evening before closing everything with questions because I'd be a new donor and nobody EVER answers no matter the hour of the day so I can't get these questions answered. Can't go here because I live too far to walk in and ask questions and they can't seem to pick up a ringing phone.
I have never had a bad experience at the Lacey Biolife. The staff are wonderful and many of them even know me by name. They work very hard to move donord through quickly. I would recommend them to anyone!
Employees are very friendly and welcoming. Facility is very clean and is in a great location. Wait times are super LONG, even though folks are required to have an appt.
Everyone in the Lacey office were very helpful, friendly and professional. They made my experience very pleasant and I am looking forward to donating in the future.
Overall it was a good first time donor experience. The clinic was really clean and tidy, and the parking lot felt secure. The staff was behind about 30 minutes upon my arrival, so my time in the clinic became significantly longer than I was anticipating (I arrived around 2:30 and left at 5:15, oof!) The staff was friendly at every point in the journey. I am a little concerned about my return visits, based on how long the line was when I was leaving, but I imagine this is due to the time of day (late afterno
Everytime I go to donate I feel welcome and want to thank everyone especially Jessica for making my donation so painless and quick. Amazing job to the whole staff at BioLife and thank you for helping me save lives.
The wait can take a bit bit the staff is ALWAYS so friendly, empathetic, and kind. Their sticks always hit the mark with little to no discomfort. I cannot rave enough about this place, at almost 400 donations I would not go anywhere else.
It takes a really long time to give plasma-at times I want to walk out, I feel that the location I go to is short staffed. Plus, the money isn't what I expected, the pay should be at least $60 plus for each visit.
I had a great donation experience. Everything was clean, people were polite and friendly, and Messiah was extremely gentle inserting the needle.
Great customer service, They arevery Friendly. They get you in and out Promptly. Smooth process.
This place is very polite and helpful. But only one lady says my protein levels are low EVERY TIME. I've never had problems with anybody else. My mom?s a Doctor and gives me the right nutrition the day before and morning of. I feel there's a bit of shady or lazy play or maybe because she doesn't like my headphones on given the attitude about them today?
Claudia and Gracie were both very professional and friendly. I felt welcomed and appreciated to be there. They explained everything thoroughly, which I know is hard when your job requires you to repeat the same thing to everyone. They provided great care. Thank you for your excellent work
I had called before hand to this location with my friend asking them what we needed to bring before donation and asked if any medical problems we had would stop us from donating. They proceeded to tell us that we only needed our identification cards and social security card and that as long as our medical problems didn't effect our blood like seizures or heart and lung problems we would be fine. We then proceeded to go in after scheduling and appointment over the phone after a 45 minute drive. Check in was
Should be zero star! Meg had an attitude problem with a deaf person who was there and then kicked him out. Educate yourselves!
Went to location in Olympia today Fri Sept 27th. My appt was for 9:10. I had a guy named Eric. He poked me right after wiping my arm down with the alcohol swab before the alcohol could even dry. Very painful. Have not experienced any pain before or someone poke me so quick after alcohol wipe down also when he removed the needle after I was done he did not hold the guard down on the inject site while pulling it out. He just pulled it out and towards the end it got stuck. I couldn't believe he didn't hold dow
I have only been to donate plasma 6 times and already have scar tissue on my vein. The staff are nice, but need more training on how to properly stick a vein. One tech in particular Jessica practically attacked my vein and I felt bruising for a few days following. Overall they are organized and informative of the process.
Amazing service if you are in need of a little extra money i recommend donating here and the good thing is your plasma could go to safe someones live. Plus free gold fish im a adult but i still love gold fish
Longer wait times but their phlebotomists are excellent shout out to Hannah for the best stick ever
My first time donating everyone was very polite and helpful, they explained the process step by step and made me feel comfortable. On my next visits everyone continued to be very polite and answer all my questions and concerns. There is little wait getting to the donation station and leaving but the first visit I would set aside about two hours.
They WAYYYY overbook appointments. think it will be an hour? try 3 hours. there is never enough people working for the amount of appointments made. The cash is great but it absolutely sucks away a chunk of ur day.
Had an appt at 345, didn't get done until 615. The actual process once I was stuck took less than an hour but I didn't even sit down until just under an hour and a half past my appt time, then sat in the chair for 20 minutes until an employee had time to stick me. The employees themselves are nice but the facility is scheduling too many people at appt times while not having enough workers on the floor to make 40$ worth the wait.
I came in on my scheduled time. the line was a bit long but that happens sometimes. I waited and then was sent to a green side. I waited and I watched. There was a problem with a client and it took some time to resolve it. It seems that they may have been short staffed and it took about 30 minutes before anyone was able to set me up to give plasma. I also noticed that the person who was handling that section seemed to be new to the job. Is it true that they get only 4 hours training and then are put on
Never had a bad experience at this center. The staff truly cares for their patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the whole process. Highly recommend donating plasma, especially at the BioLife center in Lacey.
This is a great place with very friendly staff and a very well organized system. It's a great way to help others and get a little in return.
Had a great experience with my first time donating. Clean and organized. Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. Claudia at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful.
Great place to donate plasma. Staff is friendly and informed, chairs are comfy. It's cold tho, bring a blanket! Haha
I can't remember a single time that I had a bad experience at BioLife in Lacey Washington. So far every person I have encountered in the staff is amazing, and even that to me is an understatement. They are very comforting, they promote a very relaxed atmosphere, I love their sense of humor, and I feel like I matter beyond just the plasma donations that I help and provide to people in need
I was in the tail end of my returning donor promotion when the CrowdStrike update affected their systems and prevented me from doing my donation. I drove from my home in Chehalis out to Lacey for my donation appointment and was turned away. It was explained to me that their systems were down and they couldn't process any donors. An employee told me I should be getting an email with a coupon / voucher to compensate me for the inconvenience. When I asked about this at my next appointment, it was explained tha
Unless you feel like wasting 4-6 hours of your day every single time you donate then don't come here it's only getting worse and worse half the workers move like slugs and it's BS ?? you can find another way to make 40$ in 4-6 hours I promise? maybe it's just this location not sure but they could give a hell less how much of your time gets wasted here! Appointment was at 9:30 today it's now 10:47 and I'm still not even seated. 0 stars for this location IM WARNING YOU DO NOT COME HERE!!! - thanks but no than
Overall the place is great. But there is one certain individual named Claudia who was absolutely amazing. Every time I come in she's happy. And willing to help with whatever. My wife donates as well and has said the same. This person is a huge asset to your BioLife team and should be recognized for her amazing attitude, great work ethic, and overall pleasant personality. Thank you!
From the first visit to this facility, it's been nothing but (CCC) consistent customer care. One of the most enjoyable rosters in Lacey who are also knowledgeable in their craft. Very communicative with their peers to make for a more fluid workflow. Accommodating donors needs in order to help create a safe and comfortable experience. Awesome music selection for your listening experience. You name it, they have it. With the indescribably amazing jobs that are done on the floor, I would like to thank manageme
I've been donating here for 4 months. It was difficult to get me initial appointment and at times the wait times are long, I usually get in and out in less than an hour and a half. It's always been clean, the staff have been great and friendly. They are willing to educate me when I have questions. I'm always happy when Amaya calls me back her needle sticks barely pinch.
I was a bit skeptical going into my first donation. And then I had a minor adverse reaction when I broke out in a cold sweat halfway through my donation. In retrospect, I didn't eat a good meal, and I psyched myself out. It had nothing to do with the process, it was all me. At any rate, I've been giving now for a few weeks and I really like the staff, the place is super clean and they are very efficient. I highly recommend this life-giving procedure.
I have been donating since shortly after they opened (over 500 donations, so far). Many of the staff that were there when I started donating are still there, and they're awesome. Special shout out to Ethan, Harmony, Hannah, and Jessica (short Jessica, but they are both great). The only negative I have is that the bonuses and overall payments are not as good as they were for several years until earlier this e.
Staff is always helpful and professional, never had any issues with donation, but get the feeling more and more they need some relief and their bosses should hire more ppl. Long lines often but they do the best they can.
The guy at the front desk is welcoming and everyone here is very sweet and have a good sense of humour, highly recommend since I didn't experience any bad service
I just started coming here and at first I was really nervous, but the entire time the staff here have been absolutely professional and very kind. It's made donating so easy and makes me want to keep coming back!
I work in the medical field. The entire experience was so off putting, I would hate for any of my patients to feel the way I did. I felt rushed and shuffled about the whole time. I was looking at the door thinking about just walking out 20 minutes into my new patient appointment. Definitely won't be coming back. Will share my experience with others too.
Made an appointment a month in advance because that was the earliest they could get me in for a physical or whatever a week before my appointment. They call me to let me know that due to staffing they were rescheduling me in the closest time would be another month. But it's okay because I'd still be able to have my coupons. If you're going to bump somebody two months, you could at least make up for it
This was my first time donating plasma, and my experience was great! The facility was clean, and the receptionist Claudia was friendly and helpful. Nurse Liz answered all of my questions, and was super informative. Hallie, who helped during the actual donation, was phenomenal! People often have trouble finding my veins and have to try multiple times, and I usually end up with some bruising. Not with Hallie! First try, on no bruising at all. I've already booked my second appointment!
First time coming here and everyone I met was incredibly nice. Claudia, from walking in the door to leaving was funny and helpful. She made me feel comfortable and welcome. Great place! Thanks
Everyone seems nice and helpful. It does seem like the normal compensation is kind of low, I hope there will be a lot of opportunities for coupons each month. I do twice a week every week and about half the time it does take up to two hours from check in to when I'm finished.
Way too long of a wait. Also I saw everyone but one guy spray and wipe down counter top in between people getting checked in.
I am a returning donator. Been a few months due to a tattoo. The process is extensive but Claudia made it so much better. I had lost my purse and was frazzled a bit. But she was so patient with me. She always has a kind way about her every time I have come in. As for donating. Remember. You can request a certain person to stick you. If you like them. Keep them!! You don't want to get a bad stick and end up with a hematoma. No more donating for you for a while then.
I donated to raise money to help my best friend with some bills while she underwent cancer treatment. The introductory period was awesome. I donated twice a week and received $850 in a little over a month. Payments do drop after the into period by about half. I'm going to continue to donate however because I know I'm helping those that need it. The people at the clinic are all super kind and very efficient.
Normally I would give the Lacey location 5 stars because the staff is amazing. They know me by name when I walk through the door and are always pleasant, personable and professional. That being said, the wait times are becoming ridiculously long. It used to be that I could typically count on being in the center for about an hour and a half - beginning to end. Now, it's 3 hours, minimum. This isn't the fault of the staff; but falls directly to current management not scheduling enough people during busy peri
Lewis is amazing ! I barely feel the needle, he is a fantastic phlebotomist
The entire staff was super attentive, caring, knowledgeable and highly skilled. The process of donating plasma was very organized, safe and efficient from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Thank you!
Great facility. I'm a new plasma donor with bio life but had donated for years at the blood bank. An ad brought me in. Claudia checked me in and she is amazing. If it's possible to not be nervous being stuck with a needle, she'd be the one who could calm you. Warm, welcoming, you can tell she genuinely enjoys her job and cares for the individual. It was an amazing first impression. The facility is well run, organized and clean. I'll be returning for future donations.
I was a little nervous when I went in cause I hate needles but with the wonderful staff there they brought my .mine to ease and have been going a month now .....thank you to the staff for making me feel comfortable z
I really valued the energy and I felt right when I walked in. This was thanks to Claudia?s genuine joy in her position greeting and helping the new donor process. All the staff were friendly, and took the time to have conversation. The whole process was very efficient.
Ethan?when I have him taking care of me my experience is great. Not only does he make me laugh but he is a good person. I never feel the needle when he is taking care of me. That is amazing to me. I try my hardest to get in his section because he is awesome. Polite, funny and makes my day. I always leave in a good mood and laughing. Thanks Ethan??
Clean. Nice staff. Money does not compare to the wait time. My appointment was at 12:30. It's 2:30 and I'm still waiting.
Awesome bio life was short staff on 1-12-24 the staff that was there your wonderful n did a wonderful job getting everyone in and out thank you biolife
Nothing on website if you have RA you can't give. Wasted two hours, sign up, poked my finger, filled out medical questioner, when at physical I mentioned it and was finally told I was not going to be able to give. Should have found that long before having a sore finger and wasted time.
Kyla and Claudia we're amazing and helped me throughout the donation process. It's clear that everyone is passionate and caring when dealing and handling someone new. They answered all my questions & educated me about all I needed to know. I'll be a advent donor to this facility as they couldn't of given a more calm, safe, anxiety free experience when donating. I couldn't recommend a more friendly, perfect, safe, experience.
I don't know who the boomer lady with the short silver hair plastered to her head like Frankenstein's monster is who was working the front desk this morning (11/11/2023), but she should be fired. She was rude and passive aggressive before I'd even said or done anything at all. She became outright hostile for absolutely no reason when I calmly and quite civilly - particularly given her extremely passive aggressive, rude, venomous attitude - pointed out that the thing she was grilling me for is NOT an obvious
I love Biolife. The staff is amazing and very attenive. To now i help save lifes in awesome.
Generally the better center in the area but Ive been in line for an hour now and the line is wrapping into other sections. Like guys if you know youre short coverage you shouldnt be in a situation where youre praying someone comes in early. Seems like a problem with ownership/management when it comes to schedule writing/management. Concrete policy on how to handle these situations would be wise, the pandemic isnt over and you dont require masks.
Staff are amazing, Ashley, Amber, Yolie, Elijah and their whole team are great professionals who love what they do. If you want a fast and painless experience donating plasma, this is the place to donate!
Everyone there is so nice it makes donating a pleasant experience.
I've experienced such wonderful patient care at Biolife Lacey. Everyone I've interacted with has been professional, friendly, and caring. Most of the times I go Amaya helps me and she does a great job; I always feel comfortable and well taken care of. She is great to talk to while donating, it really makes the whole process less intimidating. I highly recommend this location. It's also very clean.
Great customer service. Friendly staff.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
