I am a long-time donor, and I have seen a lot of different employees come and go over the years. The team is well trained, knowledgeable, and professional. They make donors feel comfortable, they answer questions, and they do so with patience and kindness.
One of the most beautiful plasma donation facilities I've ever stepped foot into! My first time donating here was wonderful. Very kind and knowledgeable staff that did not make me feel like a number I will be returning for more donations thank you BioLife ??????
The staff has gotten much more attentive and professional over the years. Their current head nurse is kind, patient, and a real pro at onboarding and answering questions. The phlebotomist team is attentive, friendly, and helpful. I was on a tight schedule on my last trip, and they not only ensured that I made good time, but also cut down on the paperwork I needed to get a new card issued. If you've got a surplus of incentive coupons in your inbox, now is the time to make a comeback!
I love the staff here - professional, knowledgeable, and lighthearted. As a first time donor, they made this experience for me a really positive one.
There is a tech named Drew who does NOT do a good job with a needle and is mean to the clients. I do not recommend going there while he is working.
I understand this place has on site training and also sometimes an IV can just be hard to get perfect, but the first time I went, Jessen did my IV, it was perfect went in first try zero issues and my donation when smoothly. The second time when I walked over to the table my nurse was messing with the machine and jokingly said ?haha technical difficulties? and continued to put me on that machine, he then had to try my IV 3 times on my left arm, then switched to the right trying 2 more times before calling ov
I donated for the first time (ever) at BioLife and everything went so smoothly! The staff were super knowledgeable and supportive. They explained the whole process and answered any questions I had before I even had a chance to ask! And during the actual donation, they were constantly checking in and making sure I was okay! Absolutely love the professionalism and care that was shown!
Clean, tidy, and organized facility. I have been donating for several years, and have always found the staff to be competent, friendly, and professional. Many of them remember and call me by name. I have never experienced any major complications with a donation. When small difficulties arise, the staff are quick to respond and deal with the situation appropriately. The people here seem to be well trained and work really well together. I especially appreciate Alissa for being so friendly and caring and, at
As always a wonderful experience with the staff! Super friendly and professional. I would love to have some better newer faster machines. I'm usually donating for 50 minutes to 1hr 15 minutes. It would be nice to get done sooner.
the ladies there were extremely nice and made me feel ver welcome wonderful first time
I always enjoy coming to donate here at BioLife. The staff is always so kind and attentive. Angel and Ryan offer a smile when you walk in and work so diligently to to get people through to donate. Brendan and Hallie always take the time have a conversation with me. Brooke, Levi, Clarissa, and Jensen are always hard at work and it's evident they are willing to help anywhere in the center that they can. Highly recommend!!!
I generally enjoy my time here. The phlebotomists actually care about your comfort and they do try their best to be as quick as possible when it gets super busy. Sometimes it's a bummer when it's busy with new and returning donors and you have to wait a while, just remember they are legitimately trying their hardest to get people through as fast as possible. However, if you want to avoid that, take notice of how many time slots are missing when you make the appointment, choose days and times when there are
Friendly and efficient staff. Second visit and they knew me by name. Angel, Izzy, and Brenden are always working when I donate and are the best! Good money for the time and a great way to sit still, and wind down from a busy week. If you are on the fence, just do it.
Deliah and Chris we EXTREMELY helpful and courteous towards me and explainingeveryrhing in depth to me, even with the complications that had come up.
I've been coming here for over a year now and have always had the best experience! From every nurse to those that do the pokes, they've been nothing but kind to me. Angel always greets me or sends me off if I'm there when he's there. I've had one moment of feeling ill during a donation and they were so quick to help me. I was feeling much better and like myself in a matter of minutes. My friends enjoy coming here as well, I refer them when I can!
I love to donate plasma at the Laramie BioLife. The staff are always friendly and welcome me by name. I feel like Norm when he walks into the bar on Cheers. They are fast and efficient in getting people in and out as quickly as possible. I've been donating for 8 years now. Savings lives and making money is a winning combination.
Good luck talking to the "quality" manager Matt. I went in to donate at biolife, and the DAY of my appointment I was told I was permanently deferred. This was because I got a tattoo and disclosed it to 3 nurses. All of them neglected to look into this tattoo and let me donate. I waited 4 months, and was accused of getting a tattoo 3 days before donating. It seems like a HUGE safety concern that the manager states that footage is only kept for 30 days. They conveniently have them placed behind the stations b
This was a great experience for plasma. Of course the needle prick did hurt just a bit. But the technician did the job great and minimized the pain. It was only a 3 out of 10 for 3 seconds. The process was made as easy as possible. They have patients comfort and time management in mind.
The staff in Laramie are so friendly & helpful!!! It can be scary donating plasma, but the staff at this center are so knowledgeable, reliable & positive, I've only had great experiences. I recommend this as a way to help others while earning extra cash for the increasing expenses of everyday life. Definitely try Biolife & tell them Abbey George sent you??
Everyone at this BioLife in Laramie, is so awesome. People call me by name when I walk in. I have been stuck by quite a few different people, because I have been doing it for so long. When I first started I was kind of nervous, not knowing what to expect but they put me at ease. Some people say they have a favorite but I have not had a bad phlebotomist. They are all good. I would highly recommend donating.
The staff gave me arm hematomas (bad ones) on both arms. I then became pale and felt really hot because my blood pressure was dangerously low. They wanted to do a 3rd needle stick to try and get fluids in me but THANKFULLY didn't. I wouldn't have trusted them to do it anyways. Throughout the course of these events, the staff was panicky and didn't even tell me what was happening. The nurse is really nice, but she too was panicky and unhelpful. I will not return. I do not trust these guys - 2 hematomas in
Very friendly and efficient staff. Unfortunately I don't know all of their names but each and everyone of the phlebotomists have wonderful service and make the donation process pleasant and I look forward to talking to them each donation. I never have poor experiences
Outstanding facility and very friendly staff at the Laramie location. Even though this job must get monotonous for them, there is professionalism from top to bottom. I go twice a week, every week, and have complete satisfaction. Grateful to see a staff that has such positive attitudes and commitment to excellence. Tried to catch all of the names I could remember: Brooklyn Levi Tana Izzy Logan Nina When I come back again I will mention any names I missed in another review. Thanks to everyone for making it su
I am a new donor and just had my first visit in. Took them a little longer then expected to get me started but once they started the process, it went quick. Got in the chair, Allie did a great job and stuck the vein first try with nothing more than a pinch. After the donation, Drew and Colleen were great and made sure I was feeling good. My debit card was not wanting to activate so I went back in and Drew was on the phone for an hour with IT trying to fix it. Got it fixed, I have a debit card, and I will re
Walked in and the atmosphere was very intimidating and tense. Felt more like a cow milking farm than a professional lab or doctors office. Everyone was unkind and disorganized. Nobody greeted me when I walked in rather I was yelled at across the counter to go sit down in the "waiting room". I sat there in an outdated room with chairs socially distanced. The room looked more like a haunted nursery with the old children's decor still barely visible. Finally a woman in a long lab coat and face shield told me t
I came to donate plasma for the first time at this location a few weeks ago. The experience was not bad, but there were some things that could have been done to make the experience a little better. Upon initial check in there was no one at the front desk, I had to wait maybe about 30 seconds for someone to come and greet me. I checked in and then was prompted to wait in the waiting room which had weird vibes because of the decor and it was just outdated and didn't make sense. I had to fill out an electronic
The staff is always friendly, that's good because the process can be aggravating. Due to what I've been told are staffing issues, you can easily wait 2 hours AFTER you do your questionnaire before you begin your donation which can take about an hour. That's a long time (3 hours) if you have anything else you need to do. The other issue with this is that if you are getting the $20 first donation of the week it isn't really worth your time. I really like being able to donate to help others and help me at t
BioLife in Laramie is great. Staff are professional, friendly, and accommodating. And the benefits to those who need plasma for medical reasons far outweigh the hour I give up to help them. And you get paid. Win- win situation!
BioLife does great things medically. They treat their donors well and it is a great way to earn extra spending money while helping people that need the benefits of plasma. I wish that Biolife centers would get more involved in their communities so that the residents would understand more of what they do.
I have been donating here for years. Never had a problem. Well trained staff. Clean facilities. They are all always working as a team. Super friendly. I feel a little like I am visiting friends. Love watching them develop from the front to management. I am always impressed by their professionalism and friendliness,
They always do such a great job! Even when the donation doesn't go exactly as planned I never leave feeling upset! Great staff, it's such a pleasure getting to watch them all grow in confidence! I leave with a smile on my face and never a bruise on my arm! The whole experience is great. I also really enjoy that 40 mins-hour or not having to do anything but donate.
On site training meaning, anyone can just get hired and poke you with a very sharp needle. Rude staff, they will do just about anything to frustrate you and make you nervous before the actual process even begins. They blew my vien out on 3 seperate occasions not even a month apart, I get disqualified for 3 months and I took another 3 to work up the courage to go back and they managed to piss me off before I even got two steps in the door, so I left, I spared my fingers from being stabbed. Beware
The Laramie Biolife location has been so wonderful. Every time I come, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have had good donations every time because they know what they are doing.
The last time I donated, it was pretty clear that they were understaffed, but everyone was working so hard to cover each donor. Everyone was so positive and I didn't hear anyone complain about anything (even though it would have be justified). People are always so friendly and cheerful here!
The Laramie Biolife team has always made me feel welcome and taken care of when I come in to donate. The phlebotomists are wonderful about talking you through the whole process in the beginning so you know what's going on each time you donate, and will answer any questions they can about the donation. This staff brings a calm presence that makes the donation process a breeze. Highly recommend the Laramie Biolife!
Was a great experience! Staff was very helpful and friendly. The place was clean and had a welcoming feel to it compared to some that I have been in. Very pleased with my experience and look forward to coming back!
I have been going to Biolife for a few months now and since then including today I have had quite a few instances of certain staff members especially ?Ta?a? acting extremely inconsiderate. Any time I donate when this woman is working she always finds a way to ruin your day by raising her voice or threatening to not get your payment when you finish your donation and etc. More than this, today in particular she seemed very unprepared and almost confused at to what she was doing in relation to my finger prick
This is by far the best plasma center I've donated at in my many years of donating. The staff is always professional and friendly. The nurses are amazing and the facility is always clean. Thanks for everything that all of you do!
Very kind and welcoming staff, everyone is helpful and makes the process enjoyable and easy.
I have never had an unpleasant experience while donating and everyone is so kind and helpful. Employees explain every step very thoroughly and if they are unsure of any questions they refer to someone who can get me the answer. I used to be deathly afraid of needles but decided to go to Biolife to get rid of my fear. I have comfortably donated for over two years on a regular basis I would recommend this place to anyone that is healthy and enjoys drinking lots of water.
Friendly staff and very clean facility. The nurses were very thoughtful, caring, and patient going through all the medical paperwork.
Usually a normal visit would take 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Lately, without fail, each visit is a minimum of two hours or more. They are understaffed, which is understandable, but they're often unfriendly and curt on top of it. I'm not sure the money is worth it, to be honest. It's got to the point that it ruins my day interacting with their staff.
Very professional and courteous staff. Angel and Hallie were polite and walked me through the donation process and answered every question I had .
Best plasma donation center I've been to. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. Center is clean and welcoming. Hardly ever a wait on top of that
Amazing place, great staff and a clean environment. They are always making sure that you're doing well during the donation process and are always friendly! The staff can also answer just about every question you have about the donating process. Would definitely recommend to someone new to Laramie.
I have been treated very well by the management staff, nurses and techs. All friendly and most call me by name. They are professional and care about the clients that are donating.
Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, process was smooth, sign on bonus was a perk for becoming a new donors!
I've had nothing but a pain-free experience at the Laramie facility.. It's VERY clean; the staff is sooo nice!!; and I enjoy donating to help others! Plus, easy tax free money. I HIGHLY recommend Biolife in Laramie that has an hour or less twice a week to score $90/ week or $4,680/ year tax free. Donating twice a week equates to $45/ hour! Not bad for helping people plus getting paid for it.
Friendly staff, quick to answer questions, had a great experience. Get to help others in need with donating my plasma as well as getting some extra money for my family. A double plus!
I donated last on Wednesday 8/24/2022 at the Laramie center and I walked in to the center with a walking boot filled out the intake questions honestly answered no I was feeling okay to donate and no I didn't have an new injury, I got cleared to go to a bed. It was then that one of the phlebotomist asked me if I told anyone about the boot and I replied no was I supposed to? And I was taken to the physical room where the nurses asked me questions about the boot like if I had a new injury I replied no the boot
The staff were very caring, considerate, professional, and friendly. They definitely made donating very easy.
I started donating there about 2 years ago and at first I really liked the experience. After I had to get my second physical my whole experience changed. The nurse was extremely rude and seemed pushy. I had got a piercing that I had HONESTLY forgot about because it had been so long that I got it. I told her what happened and she immediately treated me like I was a criminal. She continued to lecture me like a 5 year old and then put me on the deferral list so I can no longer donate at any Biolife Center. I u
Have donated several times over the past 6 months. Have had lots of bruising and some bloody messes, but I don't blame the staff. I just have tiny veins that like to roll around. They are now aware of that and have assigned more senior technicians to me. The staff has been very friendly and professional. I do wish they paid more, $20 doesn't really motivate me to get in that often. They do occasionally offer special incentives or drawings, which is nice.
The take great care of their donors.
The staff is always so amazing and nice! I've donated pretty frequently here and have never had an issue with any of the employees. Great way to make some extra cash.
Great communication and a thorough explanation of what to expect when donating. Izzy did a great job at making me feel comfortable and explaining everything
My bio life experience has been nothing but pleasurable. Staff are always helpful, happy, and apologetic when things take a slightly longer than they normally do. I used to think getting jabbed with a needle in a place that is not hyper-medically informed and equipped would lead to pain and discomfort due to poorly trained staff. THIS IS FALSE. After getting blood drawn several times at the hospital by a certified, professionally trained nurse, I can say Bio life makes the experience as painless as possibl
Some great people go to be a benefit to those who need plasma. Some are in need of money and go to sell their plasma. Either way, the staff are friendly. I say "sell" instead of "donate" as a reflection of the reality some college students face. I personally prefer to be employed by something other than a blood pump. Thank you to everyone who goes in to donate. You provide a much needed service.
I've been donating for a few years now and there was only one time I got close to passing out. I called over Tana and she was so helpful and direct got me feeling better right away
They are very speedy but thorough. I enjoy this because I'm trying to get done quick with a busy lifestyle. Sometimes you will get a less experienced member stabbing you and it will hurt a little more but most are very well trained.
Need to get their damn expectations straight, I gave them 4 different forms of my social security number including government documents and scanned pdfs. Which they said would be enough but sure enough I come back and they turn me away. For a place that promotes saving lives through plasma they sure don't seem very enthusiastic about people donating. Asinine and ignorant
I donate twice a week and have a great experience everytime. The staff is fun, professional and the phlebotomist do a great job! It's an easy way to help people and make some extra money.
The employees are always very friendly and professional however I have never left the clinic without a bruise and they regularly insert the needle to far into my vein and have to adjust several times. It's very frustrating as I have never been able to donate twice a week to receive any of the bonuses available.
awesome...totaly awesome...hard workers make sure your comfortable...they really do care about the donors
When donating at this center, I didnt realize what I had. I have since been to other plasma centers not run by Bio Life and find them horrible in comparison. The staff at this center was always friendly and prompt. Donating took no more than an hour (other plasma companies have taken me about 2.5 hours). I have "difficult veins" but the phlebotomists were professional and only placed my needle if they were qualified and would be successful. Bio Life's process is very smooth and effective. I recommend this c
Guys, don't donate plasma. I just came back from donating plasma and they did a huge hematoma for not doing things right. They were also supposed to give me my money from my coupon and they only gave me $20. They did not take responsibility at all. So basically damaging my skin, my veins and my blood is worth $20. DO NOT GO!!
The Team at BioLife always takes to time to make sure that each and every single individual is feeling great and doing awesome throughout their donation processes. I could not ask for a better team to take care of me when I donate.
I tried to become a new donor with biolife a little over a year ago now and ive been debating writing about my experience ever since. I struggle with severe anxiety so for the enrollment with biolife i had my mother come with and all was going well untill i was called back in to visit with the doctor to see if i was healthy enough to be a donor but before i was even able to get to that the lady told me that i had already been added to the list of people who cant be donors and that i need to leave because my
I always have a great experience. They are always welcoming and friendly.
Great staff, Very friendly and knowledgeable! Have had an amazing experience! I plan on being a long term member! I hope I save and help a lot of people with my donations!
The staff are always friendly and professional. I have hardly ever been turned away in the year and s half IV been donsting. I always look forward to my visits at the Laramie center!!
Awesome staff very professional and helpful in every step. Explained the process. Very clean topnotch! Delilah thanks ! Your awesome Been going for some years now and still great !
Many phlebs and nurses here do a great job, and I've never ended up with a bruise! Shout out to Mia, Angelo, and Cheyenne for being my favorite phlebs! Always a painless experience with them.
This facility is always clean and organized. The staff are always pleasant and attentive. It can be chaotic and a little clusstered at times but the staff are quick to apologize and fill you in on why things are backed up and how they plan to correct it, if possible.
The facility is really nice and the people made the process very easy. They are all super nice and friendly here!
The employees are not all versed in what can and can't be done over the phone. You can call ask a question and get one answer and when you go down to the actual building get a completely contradicting answer. Tried working with them on the issue and got told basically sucks to suck. If I could give negative stars I would. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.
Very excellent people who work here. They have been taking care all of us who donates plasma. Thank you
Always have a great experience! Even when things don't go quite right they do everything they can make sure I am comfortable! The staff is great and I've never left with a bruise!
Super sweet staff, very helpful, especially Alissa in the Nurses Station!
I went to donate plasma and a person with some of my info on it popped up and they wouldn't let me donate. The guy helping me found it funny. I think place has rude caring people and should remember were doing this to save lives. worst experience ever
The people are great and they know everyone?s name. Angel always greets you when you're coming in and when you're walking out.
The staff is absolutely wonderful, great experience all around.
The whole staff is friendly. The donation process is quick and relatively painless. I won't stop going.
THEY DON'T PAY WHAT THEY PROMISE!!!! Sent a friend. Both my friend and I were supposed to get $50 on the 4th donation. They told my friend that it was only $10 (I HAVE A CARD THAT SAYS $50!) AND they didn't even give us that. Plus, they're running a promotion that you get $50 on the second donation. NOPE. They didn't do that either. CSL Plasma keeps their promises and has never lied about the money they give. PLUS, they demand a much higher commitment to $20. You can't smoke or eat fast food and have to dri
Biolife is a great company with an amazing mission! I've donated at this center for over two years and the staff is super friendly and make the donation process super quick and easy!
This is a great place for plasma donations; extremely friendly and professional staff, and clean facilities. Been coming here for almost 3 years and have no major problems!
The staff at the Laramie Biolife are so friendly and efficient with making each donation a pleasant experience!
Everyone here is amazing, very friendly and always make you feel relaxed when you come in.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
