I suffered a hematoma because the machine was set too high to return my blood and cause my arm to balloon with blood. When they did a re-stick on my other arm the machine was having issues so I was not able to give a full donation. I was not given care instructions for my hematoma. I was not advised of policy for the return for my next donation. I showed up a week later for me second donation and was there for 1.5 hours before I was turned away from donating. That is when I was told policies. Also, I will n
I have been donating at this location since March and I have not had 1 bad stick or issue with the process. There are many staff to support each other when needed. I had Arlene the last few times and she usually runs her side by herself while the leaads train the newer staff members. She is polite and attentive.
Because EMMA was very nice, very helpful answered all my questions, and I could tell she took her job seriously because of her display of professionalism and systemic procedure that's always the same every time I come there. And just her over all willingness to want to help. And I never see her idle, and I just think she is a great employee of yours, and I would give her a raise if I owned your company. Now don't get me wrong, all the girls that work there are awesome, and I mean that, but she just stood ou
I know everyone ls experience is different and I'm basing THIS visit only based on my interactions. All my other visits, I'd say it was 5 stars. This time specifically, during check in and vitals, Genaya was awful. Rude, no eye contact, spoke very low and I couldn't hear her. Not a welcoming response. I did have to see the nurse to review a question because I misread it. While waiting, two nurses were talking behind the door negatively about patients. Not a good vibe when I had to walk in next. After though
Strict as hell and took 4 hours for the first visit. Only one person working in the front too. Certain employee was kind of rude too. Tampa location is wayyyyy nicer, happier and quicker
As soon as I walked in the door, everyone was very polite, answered all questions and were very knowledgeable through each step. There are several people that stood out that deserve 10 stars. A? Miracle, Tyler And David. There are a few more. I just didn't remember their names. I want to thank all of them for making it a great experience and each time that I've been there.
The office was clean. HOWEVER as a new donor, I spent 3 hours to get a n the donation table and the girl was checking my veins. Stated she couldn't find them to braw blood. Secondly she said she will load $20 on the card for my inconvenience. When I got to the gas station turns out she did NOT put the money on my card. What a waste of my time. Then told me I have to go through the WHOLE process again. Physical and all. get better staff. Rude and disrespectful.
I've been donating for over 3 years now. I went in this morning at 7. No wait for vitals, in my chair right away. I had Americel do my stick. I didn't even feel the stick. I was also my fastest donation to date. Only 4 cycles. Great job!
Christian was phenomenal! I barely felt the poke, his manners were great, and he just made it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible! Love that you also get reward points as part of the program, an extra bonus! I've donated at other centers but this by far has been the best one. Always very clean and professional!
I always have a positive friendly experience when donating. The staff at Largo are always friendly and caring. Twice a week for 1-1.5 hrs is worth it for me to help another person and earn a little extra money.
Everyone is really nice, and works really hard and is very efficient, and everyone there seems happy with their work. I felt very taken care of and attended to my first donation. However... You're supposed to donate 8 times within 30 days if you're a new donor, but they'll blow the veins in your arms and bruise you so you can't donate fast enough and make that time frame. My first donation the worker, very kind, hard working, blew out the veins in both my arms when putting the needles in. I still sat fo
I have been very impressed with the organization and procedures followed at BioLife; I feel safety is paramount for all employees. During one appointment, a donors had an issue with his donation and the team was very quick to address the situation in a calm and professional manner. I felt very comfortable as to how well they addressed the donors needs.
The Tampa center on Waters St is a newer facility so it is clean. However it is sadly understaffed. Typically there is only one associate to handle the blood pressure & iron check of regular donors. Another associate handles the registration for new donors. I've waited over an hour to be told my iron was low and to try again the next day. When I do pass the iron check I know I will have to wait at least an hour or more before I'm hooked up to donation machine. I need to bring snacks & water with me to keep
Everyone working there was professional and pleasant. There were quite a few people there to donate and the whole operation moved along like a well oiled machine. The facility was clean and orderly.
The staff was very friendly and professional. It was a smooth experience as they guided me through the entire process. The building was clean and also aesthetically pleasing.
I have been coming here for the last 6 months my last 2 visits have been horrible? usually it's outstanding and I loved coming here and looked forward to it? Christian is a rude unprofessional little jerk this time the girl I didn't catch her name left in the middle of sticking me I said nothing went with the flow my ride called me as I was explaining to my ride what had happened and why I was going to b longer this little ear hustling jerk wants to come up and run his mouth about how no one likes to wait n
Entire Staff is Amazing, Especially Alivia, She is One of the Main reasons this place succeeds, Also I would like to also. Say that Q, Morgan, Sky, David, Sadia, Hailey, Tyler and Elise Are also all Incredible. They Bring there A game every day. I don't think I have been to a place. Where the Employees are more Professional and always have a smile on there face. They all Deserve a Raise. Because without them this place does not Succeed. Thank You for all you Do. ALIVIA, is the Greatest Phlebotomist Ever
This is not a good place to donate. There are too many uneducated employees. On top of all that they discriminate against certain donors for no reason. If you have old scar tissue or any scars for that matter that assume you have done drugs. Lastly when they are short staff, which is almost always. They are extremely cold and rude. They lie about new donor payments. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Beware!!!
I was greeted by 2 smiling associates and they all addressed my questions. The nurse who took care of me during the donation you could tell knew exactly what she was doing. She was quick, funny, but direct with her communication. She spoke with everyone as if she knew them all personally and not "just another patient".
I had the worst stick ever. I don't know if this girl just wasn't trained properly or what, but I had a hematoma after I was stuck with her. I told her it hurt when it went in and they tried to adjust it, but it was too far gone I guess I don't know, but that was the worst experience I've ever had there aside from the bathrooms, not being fixed, but they did fix them eventually Took them six months, but they fixed them. I don't think this girl should be on the floor or she needs more training or something I
I just made my second visit today and so far so good! My first visit took about 2 hours which is about what I expected based off of the information they give you. Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional and the process is quite thorough. On your first visit, expect to wait a few minutes to be called back, have your vitals checked, do a lengthy survey on a computer, and then finally be evaluated by someone on the nursing staff. On all visits after that, you can just go straight to the computer to c
Phlebotomist Bruna is the reason I look forward to donating at BioLife...Her care and concern for the donors well-being and comfort during the donation process is genuine & sincere...It's because of employees like Bruna that not only cause me to continue to choose BioLife; but also make the entire process 'stress free'...Thank you BioLife, for employing people like Bruna...who is such a professional, caring, thoughtful individual...I have donated plasma regularly for over 2 years at more than one Center...b
I had an incredibly frustrating experience at this donation center. After going through the fingerprinting check-in process, five different donors' information appeared under my fingerprint, so I had to ask for it to be redone. One staff member was particularly rude and made me feel like an inconvenience. When I asked if someone else could assist me, I was told by the supervisor, Alivia, that she was too busy to speak with me. Another staff member, whose name I didn't catch, was much more helpful and sugge
I have been to 4 Biolife locations, this one easily the worst. I have donated here about 15 times and every single time the donation process is incredibly inefficient. I don't know whether its the employees lacking motivation to help their co-workers or management not teaching them how to get people in and out the door as quickly as possible. There is no consistency with who they choose to help first. It should be first come first serve. If a patient is done donating, unhook them so they can leave and someo
I know you probably have an ID and everything but all my stuff got stolen so I came in with a picture in my phone and my ID with a copy of my ID a student name tag social security card and I drove all the way from Saint Pete just to donate to get refused because I didn't have my original copy of my ID and it was very disappointing I thought they could have worked with me but they didn't
I had an awful and traumatic experience here today. This was only my second time donating, and after a hematoma formed in my left arm, the needle was improperly secured in my right arm and ripped out of my vein, spraying blood all over my clothes and the floor. I sat in my own blood for about 10 minutes while the technicians cleaned up my arm and the floor while calling for a nurse. The closest thing to an apology I got was ?sorry, but sometimes things happen.? I've been left with two massive bruises on bo
I have shopped around at different plasma centers in my local area and I will say that this is my favorite one! A lot of the reason this my is my favorite, is because of the staff! Compared to other centers I would say they are all allstars. It's nice that employ ees can interchange and handle all sections. It's far above the competition because of the extensive knowledge and training. my favorite staff member is Q! her cheerful demeanor and professional attitude really bring something to the table that m
Be aware of possible scam and fishing attempts! I'm a returning donor as I did donations a year ago. During the registration they asked my SSN and then looked up pictures of my house by the address from the driver license. Nobody cared to explain why they need my confirmation of the pictures of my house. Now they know my SSN, date of birth, full name and address with pictures of my house confirmed by potential victim of future scam & fishing attacks. In addition to the fact that they treated me as a crimina
Thank you BioLife for hiring Ms. Kaylee. She is awesome and keeps a smile on her face that brightens your day. She has outstanding customer service and highly polite.
Great location! Everyone is so nice! I have donated 4 times. All are great experiences. I like donating plasma versus regular blood because they give me my blood back and my blood pressure is actually better since I have started don.
I asked 5 nurses and all 5 did not know what size gauge needle they use. They appeared inexperienced and was unsure if they could approve my veins. I receive vitamin IV therapy every month and know that my veins are perfectly fine to fit an 18 gauge at the very least it could fit bigger. I have 3 very good veins and she tried telling me she couldnt feel the third. After two techs could not make up their minds, I had to request the supervisor to look at them which she approved immediately and without issue.
I just wanted to say that my first experience here was amazing from the minute I walked in the door and Q greeted me with a welcoming smile and hello. Her attitude created such a positive atmosphere forgot he whole building. The Aurri?on( I probably spelt her name wrong) took such great care of me knowing that I was being a crybaby about the finger prick she did see that I was comfortable through the whole process. So sweet and gentle for a big baby like me. Last but not least when I finally got to the dona
This location has some of the best phlebotomists I've ever encountered. I had the pleasure of having Christian today as my phlebotomist and he made the entire donation easy and pain free. Thank you!
Everything went smoothly for me. Be prepared for your first appointment and know that it is quite cool in the building.
How is this place even real? Here I am after filling out all this paper work and agreeing to terms and conditions telling me that I risk injury & even my life so I could make 1/10 of what you guys sell my plasma for yet your staff is unprofessional and cold..! I think another review mentioned feeling like it was a prison intake ..! The staff is comprised of young adults. The way they behave make it seem like they are in a casual school or a casual social gathering.. Like do you not understand that this is s
Nice people but the waiting to get unhooked takes forever!! We have to drink a Powerade before and then need to use the bathroom?. Waiting >20 minutes after donation is complete seems abit slow especially when ya gotta go to the restroom!
Everything from the check-in process to my physical to the actual plasma donation went super smooth? Very happy with the whole procedure!
This location (Largo,Fl) is hands down the best donation center I have donated at. The staff are friendly and courteous, the machines are top notch and faster then their competitors. Always super clean and ALWAYS a nice and smooth experience.
Very kind, explained everything very well but didn't take too long! I was impressed by the kindness of everyone I encountered on 5/1
I've donated at this facility for about a month and a half now with no issues, and suddenly Today 12/8/2025, I was told I couldn't donate because my sleeve wouldn't go up all the way to the very very shoulder top so that it will reveal my entire skin, I said that the shirt was thin and up enough for the pressure wrap can detect the pulse. I have been donating with my sleeve that high up with no issues from the beginning to the very end and today was ruined by this strict policy that could have happened if n
I had a very pleasant experience at BioLife Largo. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I intend to return at least once a week.
They literally forward your call everyday there is no way to contact them on the phone. They purposely do this to avoid extra work. God forbid you left something and wanted to call and make sure it's secured.
After reading a few of the reviews below, I wanted to post that even though I'm a new donor to this facility, I have been treated with nothing but kindness and professionalism from the entire staff up to this point in my experience with them. The facility is always clean and under control from what I could see and am assuming that is because you can only donate with an appointment, and because they are much stricter with their criteria for donating in the first place. From the initial intake and physical,
Well I have been told By the web I site That I have been deferred cause my protein was to high .. well my level has never changed in the 2 1/2 years of donating and I recently had a doctor visit and I asked about the protein levels up to 10 is normal and as low as 5 and I was told that I was an 8 so please tell Me why I'm differed ??? Has to be an explanitation why nobody can give me the same answer or a logical one
They pay more money for donations when you are new, to try to get you in the door. Then after the first month the amount you get paid for donations drops dramatically to half of the original amount for the first month. Patients insurance companies pay thousands for plasma infusions, yet the profits are not passed on to the donors. $800 your first month, after that it drops to on the average of $400 a month.
Been donating a couple years now and had my first bad reaction, but the staff handled is so great. Shout out to Nicole for being a wonderful nurse. She took all my symptoms seriously and acted accordingly. Appreciate you????
BEWARE!!! Don't go here! I got sick everytime I donated! They have people who work here and wear their gloves from one area to the next! They wear them into back rooms and come right back out w/them on! The same sweaty gloves stuck to their hands! They are not clean! Also they obviously don't know how to schedule. You go in and wait an hr to 3 hrs before getting hooked up to a machine. $40 is not what 3 hrs of my time is worth! They make big money for our donations and give us pennies! Professional people d
The wait was very long.. everyone is very nice but to be at the largo location for 3 hours is just not doable.
I went in to donate. Their person made a mistake hooking up the machine so I lost 200 mg of blood but no plasma and now they say I can't donate again for 8 weeks. It doesn't get any worse than that. Their mistake. Now I can't use them. How completely inept!
I donate plasma here at least a few times a month, and they're always friendly and nice! One staff member, in particular, stands out ? Gracie. She is amazing, expertly managing multiple patients simultaneously while maintaining a friendly, optimistic composure. Her ability to handle the pressures of a busy donation center with such grace and positivity makes the experience much more enjoyable and stress-free. Gracie's professionalism and warm demeanor truly enhance the overall atmosphere, making me look fo
It doesn't matter how many times you make a phone call to this place or fill in the online request to donate they will not call you back or reply to your online inquiry.
The wait is long at times. The staff is nice. I can't remember her name but she takes vitals, tan complexion with a curl ponytail & rainbow on her badge(or mask). She is always so nice. (Edit to post) Her name is Bree. Today I had Opal when I was in the chair. She was so funny & had me laughing the entire time. I thought she was nice as well.
The staff is amazing! However, it sounds like those at corporate create situations where they are so short staffed?it's ridiculous how long people have to wait sometimes. Figure out how to either get more staff or fix the scheduled openings so that people can donate and move on with their lives. While we love being able to make these donations, we also have other things to do than wait all day. It discourages from people wanting to come back. It seems like all the responses from Biolife are going to just a
Waited over 4 hours today to complete donation. Took about 3 hours to actually make it through the line to get my vitals done, be sent to red, then to finally make it to the donation area. Donation itself took about 30 minutes. Then I had to wait another 30 minutes to be unhooked from the machine. There was almost a fight with people screaming and cursing. The staff spends more time policing the line and making people stand against the wall versus actually doing their job. This is a sad sad place. I can't
The nurse is rude. I thought she was having a bad day the first time. I dealt with her a year later, same thing. No other nurse has EVER given me trouble anywhere else. She seeks confrontation. If anything, go to a different BioLife to get screened then come back here.
Experience at BIOLIFE DoNating Plasma is Excellent !!! No Worries with 1 Female Staff Member i Always ask for when I donate....Her Name is Adeola.
This appointment went so much better than my last one. Although it was busy, and I had to wait for a nurse for an arm check, the manager made sure I didn't have to wait back in line after the check. It was clean and painless. Great experience
Never donated plasma before and I was referred here for the first time. It's definitely a good experience. All the staff is very very friendly, making sure everything is done correctly and that you are completely comfortable. The worst part about it is it is very very crowded and the wait time is simply ridiculous. From the moment you walk in to start the process, it could take you up to over an hour just to get to a chair to donate. If you decide to donate hopefully you have a lot of time. They are definit
My goodness this place is SHORT STAFFED!! Normally is taking over 2 hours to complete a donation! One of the ladies named Gina should not be drawing blood.every time I am there I see this woman screw someone?s arm up! She screwed my wife?s arm up and mine on 2 different occasions!! I have heard other doners say the same thing! The only time I ever have problems drawing plasma is when she sticks me! Having said that I do believe that the staff is way understaffed and a lot of what happens in there is due to
You're in and out. Great experiences and Morgan is great at her job. She as well as the rest treat you good and understand that people want to be in and out as fast as possible.
I've been donating Plasma for over 10 years now and EVERYTHING about BioLife plasma is great with the exception of one thing. I don't feel as though the employees at BioLife put the clients first. Everyone I encounter, save a few, starting with vitals through the donation stations, all feel the need to talk to whoever walks by. I could be at the vitals station and in the middle of doing that the person will constantly look around and if they see someone waiting for something or even look like they are, t
I have been donating twice a week since January. My dear friend has Myasthenia Gravis and there is no cure, just treatments. Her lifesaving treatments are created from plasma- so I donate in honor of her. I haven't really had any issues with long waits besides my initial appointment, and that's because there are more steps involved during the first appointment. The staff is always friendly and several know me by name. I live in Tampa, but continue to come here because I like this location better & their ho
Very poor staff. Opal I think her name is, she is the most unpleasant unapproachable person I ever met. She is rude and I wouldn't ever want her to stick me . I even witnessed her being racist last time I was there. I have been donating in the same vein for 3 years never been told I have scar tissue and never had an issue or reaction ever, I get to this place and Im on the machine for an hr and I drink water and eat right! Morgan is the only reason I keep coming back.
First, waiting lines always so long, you wait always 1-1,5 hours and then donation takes only 30-40 min itself. Second, I came to donate today, filled questionnaire and then went outside to my car for 1 min to pick my blanket. Then waited 20 min in line for screening. After 20 min I get refused to donate, because it is not allowed to leave the building once you entered. And nobody told me about this rule, it doesn't say anywere. So disrespectful. Spent more than 1 hour of my weekend and gas for nothing
Today at Biolife Largo, they appeared to be very under-staffed and working much slower than normal. As soon as i sat down, the staff readied the machine. 20 minutes sitting in the bed. I joined for the incentive for $800 per month, so based on my normal salary, it becomes cost prohibitive for me to come all the way out to Largo to sit and wait....even w incentive. And has anyone noticed the canned responses from corporate???
The most "hurry up and wait" I've been through since the military. The staff is mostly friendly (some grouches) and helpful, but expect theprocess to take longer than you expect. My biggest complaint - why wear latex gloves if all you're going to do is flip/play with/adjust your braids/hair/weave?
I had a fantastic experience at the BioLife Plasma Center Clearwater location. From the moment I walked in, Alivia & the rest of the amazing team made me feel welcome and at ease. They were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped me feel comfortable. The facility was spotless and well-organized, and the whole process went smoothly. I genuinely felt like they cared about my well-being and made the donation experience as positive as possible. I highly recom
The staff is always very nice. they're very efficient but the center is always short staffed. 1 hour and 7 mins before the needle was placed in my arm. This is an on going problem though, it happens almost every time. I wish they would hire more technicians. or at least hire 1 more tech that is of support to the ones hooking up patients to the machine/ sticking patients/ unhooking patients and discharging.
I went to the Largo location today. I waited over 30 minutes for a scheduled appointment to get vitals. After sitting in at my donation station for almost another 30 minutes I was told I wasn't allowed to donate because I didn't have labels in the system. I wasn't cleared because the person taking my vitals didn't save my information. This was someone working with a trainee, which was fine, I tried to be patient, and I know people make mistakes but I drove all the way to a different location to stay on sche
My experience has been great. If you are a first timer, expect to spend 3-4 hours of your day there to complete the physical, questionnaire and first donation. I definitely recommend you get an early morning appointment for your first visit. The first 2 times, they allowed me to "skip" the phlebotomy line which helped me get out of there timely. But my 3rd until recent donations have taken just over an hour (W/ appointments early before 8am). The promotion they were running helped me book a cruise for
DO NOT GO TO LARGO. My advice only. If you value your time, the appointments they have you sign up for, mean nothing in their system. I wont even begin to mention how painful it was to get input into their system to begin with. Fortunately, my first donation last week (midweek, in the morning) went OK. I returned this past Saturday mid morning (10am) for my 2nd donation at my appointment time. There was over a 2 hour wait of people standing and backed up to get into a chair station for donation. I t
I really enjoy going to bioplasma. The app to make appointments is great. Most of the time there is not a long wait and i am in and out very rapidly. The staff are very helpful and courteous. They care about my experience and make it super easy to continue to come back.
Lack of staff. Had an appointment set for 9:55am. Stood around waiting to get past the first desk check until 10:10am, then got put into another line waiting on an opening in the actual bed. There were two other sections closed off, 12 empty beds in total that could have been used. By 10:45am they finally decided to open one of the closed sections. Guess who was next in line but 6 people got pulled into the section. Guess who was stuck for donation first... The last guy that showed up in the pile before the
Every one is nice and they all seem like they like there jobs Ashley is very beautiful ?? and made my visit one of the best I can have I love talking with her
The nurse was extremely rude. God forbid the computer glitches or freezes and you answer a question wrong and have to go see her. She makes you feel like a complete idiot and then she sends you to the back of the line instead of putting you back to the front of the line so you can continue through the process. Now I know why the people at Waters Avenue go there instead of East Bay. All the staff on Waters Avenue are very pleasant. It's a shame it's not like that in both locations.
I have only been going to biolife for a couple months, I found the center to inhabit many professional individuals who work there from reception with Q who is always smiling and welcoming to vitals with bree who is also warm amd welcoming, to the donation floor with Morgan, who is amazing and highly professional and kind. Then there's Lala who is also Kind, professional and absolutely Amazing she was the first to stick me after having some doubts ( if you have Ever Donated plasma before then you know not e
The physical process is very time consuming, I was ok with it,but the so called nurse was rude acted like I was bothering her and if she is a nurse she's probably the least qualified nurse I have ever met, needless to say after two hours she said her part was going to take an additional hour if not two and her whole attitude gave me impression she wanted to go home and I was bothering her. I won't be returning. Go to CSL the staff is friendlier and more knowledgeable, every staff member claimed to be new,
it's busy a lot at times but thats understandable, every place is understaffed these days. everybody that works here has been so nice and welcoming everytime i come in to donate!
The total absence of professionalism for Christina and Hailey at the Largo, Florida location is beyond horrendous. Last friday, Hailey showed not an iota of skill or compassion with those needles. She went straight through into muscle and hit the tendon on my other arm. Walking away she claimed my veins 'roll'. I have <15% body fat. I ended up with my arm swelling up on the return. Today she claimed I needed an adjustment because I was messing up their 'times'. Apparently anything over 30 minutes is unaccep
Outstanding and super clean!!! I was referred to BioLife from a competitor staff member. BioLife is by appointment only. This saves so much time!! The staff are engaging with the donors and are constantly asking how you are doing. This is so refreshing from the drama of the staff at the other company. At Biolife, it is clean, efficient, professional and you actually feel like you're not inconveniencing the staff by being there. I wish I had learned about BioLife 2 years ago when I first started donating my
The personnel that work there are great and professional. The place is very clean. Major disappointment was since it took so long for me to get required medical clearance that I did not get any of the promotion money that was promised to me for signing up. I asked why and was told that because my doctor and the BioLife doctor took so long to get me cleared that loosing the bonus money was my fault. REALLY!
Donated 4 times, so far. Staff is friendly, but not super professional (play inappropriate music, talk about donors on probation, make a lot side shop talk etc.). First visit was 6 hours, last 3 have all been 3 hours wait. Apt set for for 8:45 but until around 11 before getting a donor bed, every single time. This should take about an hour for the whole process, maybe 90 minutes. They really do NOT care about your time or feelings. The last time I was suppose to done, I arrive and they say they have no reco
. It seems that as I go here more often, they are equally nice, but the time I spend in the facility has gone from an hour and a half to over 3 hours of wait. It has been crazy my appointment was a 10:35 am, and it is now 12:50 over two hours of wait, and I'm not even close to getting done. They let an entire room of new donors go before the old donors. I don't know if they do this to make you think at first that it does not take that long. But it's crazy the difference from.when I started in the time I'm
This was my 1st time at this location and I must say that that I was extremely impressed with the operation and how they treated me! I was especially pleased with Gracie who handled me with kids gloves while she was setting me up for my donation. She is very conversative and very personable and is definitely an asset to this organization and location so my hat goes off to her! I also want to give a shout out to Stevie who did my physical and was very knowledgeable and educated me on some things that I had n
Unprofessional staff complaining about breaks with a disregard of the clients. On my second donation, my arm had a reaction resulting in a persistent rash that I am still dealing with more than 2 months later. Doctor appointments, two steroid treatment attempts, and an antibiotic cream has taken more $$ than Bio Life gave me for the donations. Never again will I donate plasma or blood because of Bio Life in Largo Florida.
I went to this this location for a month and some of the staff are nice but one staff is a liar and unprofessional person, her name is opal . She is the rudest person and sickening. I was on facetime and this liar said that i was cussing at her knowing good and well i wasn't cussing all bc she was in a bad mood and her nasty attitude got the best of her. I then talked to amy the manager and waited to talk to her but she wasn't available so she called me about 10 minutes later and i explained it to her who
Make sure payments are made in a timely manner they should be no need to a person to back track and come to the office for a non payment that's crazy
I developed a hematoma and Regis swapped to my other arm very quickly. Always a good experience with Regis when I donate along with many others!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
