Went here and out of all the places I have donated plasma this place has been the best one! The employee who inserted the needle, I believe her name was josselyn, did an amazing job. I didn't even feel it she definitely has the magic touch. Her aura is truly something else. Her eyes show a brightness that lightens up your day. I will definitely come back and definitely recommend this place to others.

Has anyone noticed that plasma donation centers like this are often in the more impoverished parts of town? That placement alone is telling. I donate blood regularly, and a friend encouraged me to try donating plasma as another way to give back. I love this place. Personnel treat you with respect and are very friendly and inclusive. First time I went there, Roger explained everything to me and was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. I have donated 9 times already and have always left with a smile. It's been a nice experience for me and will come back as it feels good to be able to help people and being compensated for that.

AVOID!!!! You'll wait 3-5 hours each visit & then deal predominately with inexperienced staff that will inflict you with pain. As someone who had given over 20 donations for free back in Australia I know it shouldn't hurt - which on 2 occasions it did and was fairly traumatic. One of the worst in San Diego. The staff are friendly, but the front desk and the system are terrible. The waiting line is always more than 40 minutes for an appointment. Mercenaries who don't care about you, they just want to make money with your plasma. This is disgusting.

First couple donations were fine but then they found a discrepancy in my blood and wanted me to go see my doctor about it. I did. I got the discrepancy fixed after about a year. When I came back I brought all the paperwork and blood results from my doctor saying I was good to donate again per their request. Then after I had waited so long for the paperwork from my doctor, they wanted even more paperwork saying I was good to go. I was attended by Josselyn and her phlebotomy skills were excellent. I didn't get a hematoma and she was very kind and polite when she attended me. Everytime I go I do see her always working hard so I appreciate how she keeps her positive attitude!

No point in scheduling an appointment. Each visit takes an average of 2-3 hours. My experience at BioLife was very disappointing. Despite having an appointment, I ended up waiting over two hours to be seen by a nurse. The staff seemed unprofessional and lacked experience?multiple unsuccessful attempts were made to insert the needle. On top of that, their attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. The appointment system clearly isn't effective, and the overall service was frustrating from start to finish.

I completed quite a comprehensive assessment online to see if I qualified to donate. I scheduled an appt, took a bus to get there, only to find out my physical address was not acceptable for me to be a donor. Something the could have told me online, but didn't. Wasting my time and theirs. I am now going to their competitor with hopefully better results.

Process is generally efficient (an hour or less) but can sometimes take longer depending on how busy it is/who's working. Staff is generally friendly and helpful, overall as pleasant as the experience could be. Would recommend if you wanna help people or just need cash in a pinch.

I've been a patient for nearly a year and I would recommend this place to anyone that is interested donating. The staff is really nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, they can be slightly understaffed at times during the week; however, they prioritize accommodating every patient fairly at all times each and every day.

Overall a great place to donate! Depending on your appointment time, the wait can be either 5 minutes or a couple hours to get to the donation chair. I think the issue is understaffing, usually 1-2 people on vitals and the rest on the donation floor always busy. This plasma center has improved since last year. I usually don't wait too long. The employees are kind and helpful. I have only had to deal with terrible doners. So they just need to continue to keep out people that are rude or have bad hygiene. Otherwise it's fine.

As a new donor you get paid a reasonable amount for your plasma around $90 to $100 per donation. But after the 3rd of 4th donation they drop it to $45 and $60 every other visit. That's not enough for the risk u take and what your body loses when you donate. If you have money it's not a problem but if your doing it for financial reasons it won't cover any bills now a days. That's why I stopped going they will end up missing your vein and ask you to let them try your other arm or they will threaten to only pa

Since my first visit & donation, the staff at BioLife Lemon Grove has been so friendly, kind, caring & helpful. Before coming here, I didn't know about plasma donation or the positive effects it brings to people?s lives; recipients and donors like myself. This is now a part of my routine and it feels good to be a part of a greater cause.

Staff can be quite finicky, some are great. Rules seem to change from day to day. Generally a three hour wait. Not very organized. They took people that weren't new donors ahead of the lady in front of me and then you sit while people in line behind you pass you.

The staff here is amazing. It's everyone that's quickly in and out of the building there's no wait time. Everyone is so friendly. I love love love the building. BioLife plasma has been honestly a great experience so far. Not only do you get compensation for your time donating but the staff also makes it quick and easy to become a new donor. Recommend if you need some cash for hard times or to even help out those who do need plasma. Amazing staff, quick and efficient.

Josselyn has started my plasma process when i go and she bas a very light hand, she always has a smile on her face. she made my experience fun & made me feel safe as she would repeatedly check in on me.

Stopped coming here about a year ago and came back today, thinking that they had to have gotten their act together by now. Biggest mistake I've made in a long time. Still waiting over an hour and a half later to get my "returning donor" physical... And probably at least another hour and a half until I'm done here. Not worth the $60

No respect with donors. We an Make appointment and long wait in the Vitals Station line. Believe it's just a plasma business and stressful place for workers and donors. Look ?? around for a different and respectful place. P.S. do not make appointments less then hour and half after your appointment time donation. (It's a miracle for leave the place less then hour ??) Horrible service, the younger lady's that work here are very immature and avoid work everytime im here. It almost feels personal. They sit me in a chair and prep everyone else except for me this morning and had me wait a hour for no reason. Their excuse is that that have to take there breaks but I see other workers helping other customers out consistently but me. I won't be coming back but I don't think they really care for my service.

My experience at BioLife in Lemon Grove has been outstanding. The staff there is excellent! They go out of their way to provide exceptional service and make sure patients are comfortable and happy. I definitely recommend BioLife above and beyond going to any other center.

Well just like most reviews on here I will say they mismanaged their time pretty badly. I had a 230 appointment and I didn't get my physical until 445 then with the hour or so donation and making 1st timers wait for 15 minutes after its now 630 and 2 hours longer than they had said it would take but for $150 its not the worst. So use my name and buddy900 as a promo code and you can cash in on your plasma too.

I've been here and to one other company to donate plasma and so far I haven't had an issue with my protein or iron levels! It's close to my house and they give great snacks! The referral bonus is cool too!

Staff here are always really kind and super helpful. Expect to spend 60-90 minutes for your appointment, that's just how the process is. They always work safely and efficiently, which is why I keep coming back again and again.

Staff are Courteous , attentive , are competent with handling the equipment and are quick to resolve any issues that may arise with any donors donation process . Process can vary between 45 mins. - 1.5 hrs depending on how many people come to donate , staffing and also how hydrated you are .

The employees work hard and they are efficient in what they do. I do know they get overwhelmed with being understaff. It's like they're taking the place of two employees. I think it shouldn't be that way. It causes issues with the business, employees and not to mention the patients.Overall Im happy with the employees and the money it helps out a lot!

Honestly I never had a bad experience with them. The staff is always friendly it might be a little wait at times but usually they try to be fast. That's the only thing is sometimes you have to wait around 2-3 hours for your whole process but other times it's only like an hour and a half.

This place is for donating plasma, as gar as that goes, I've had no bad experiences in over 50 donations. Occasionally a needle poke hurts a little but not often. Staff are friendly and place is very clean. Takes about an hour to an hour and a half. Going early can get you out in under an hour

Very clean and modern facility..There is a strict 10 minute grace period from your scheduled appointment, so I'd advise getting there early.

I actually enjoy coming here. Yes some of the staff can be a little ehh but I would be too because of some of the patients they get. So don't be an ass if you don't want to be treated like one.

I love coming to BioLife for plasma donations ! They have been really great with me during all my visits and never any issues with needles or donations. Small Staff. They don't care about your time scheduled . If you are 11 minutes late for any reason you are out of the schedule (need to reschedule). BUT, waiting 35 minutes after checking that's okay for then (any day and any time of the week is the same). Justifying: Small staff and SORRY ?? for this. It is what it is. Take away. First impressions were great. I only made it to the vein check though where the nurse decided to not actually check for veins and just assume that my tattoos cover every vein in my arm. Wayyyyy slower than San Marcos location. Idk what is wrong with this location it just seems like everyone is SLOW and moves like a sloth. People do seem inexperienced. San Marcos one is so efficient and they get the job done quick. Waste of time at this location.

It's always great donating here at the Lemon Grove location. They are very quick and efficient. Adam was very nice and informative and he got me through the check-in very fast. Will definitely be returning soon!

Been going for almost a year on and off. Any issues are always attended to and payments immediately after donating. All the staff is great and I enjoy going and all the people that are being helped is the best part!!

It seems to be hit or miss on how much the wait is. Somedays the line seems awful, other days, there's almost no line. This is my 4th donation and I try to budget around 2 hours from start to finish. Typically takes about 30 to 45 min to actually start donating. Then another 45 to donate. If you want to be safe, you can budget 3 hours if you need to be somewhere afterwards. But all in all, good staff, clean environment, good experiences so far.

So far this is my third donation and it's been positive, 1st visit takes time to get the physical exam done but I was out within 2 1/2 hrs cause I came by during rush hour not sure but today it was faster in bed by 20 mins haven't had any negative interactions with anyone of the staff.. pretty staff as well tbh????

Grateful for the staff here. Everyone I've had the fortune to come across seem like they like their job and who they work with. It's a nice environment and they play good music to pass the time.
