The service is good. And most times, the wait isn't excessive. However, the general ?cleanliness? is unsatisfactory. There's clearly blood all in front entrance. It's disgusting. The entry needs to be cleaned. No one wants to see blood stained concrete at the entrance of a donation center of any type?..
I had such a great experience at BioLife thanks to Jasmine and Tyesa! From the moment I walked in, they made everything feel so seamless and stress-free. Both of them handled me with such care and professionalism, it really made a difference. Their knowledge and gentle approach made me feel safe, seen, and valued. I truly appreciate the way they took care of me throughout the process. If you're thinking about stopping by BioLife, I highly recommend checking them out. You're in great hands with these two!
It's Grt, being able to interact with the Youth of today & at the same time "Do something worthwhile for others" Whille being rewarded not just an empty appreciation but also being compensated + rewarded with Member bonuses, swag & perks" Giving an overall & total support system..I enjoy greatly????????
This is the center where I had my first appointment last August and where I have donated the most times. Since I've been a regular here, I'm warmly welcomed by many of the staff that have seen me over the months. This is my favorite center to donate at out of the six that I have visited. I feel like a regular customer at a restaurant when I come here. Also, this location has wrap bandages in a variety of colors such as purple, blue, red, two shades of green, etc. which is a nice extra touch to complement on
Wouldn't let me donate because my Iron was too ?low? it was at a 36 instead of a 38 they could of easily gave me another beef jerky they offer and re did my physical.. no extra options no sorry just ?yeah get your iron up and you can try again some other day? wasted $10 on uber to tell me that. Definitely don't recommend it was a bad first experience. First girl light complexion was nice and welcoming. 2nd girl who did my physical Hispanic, darker complexion, just came back from lunch around 5:20 was not so
Very bad experience. The staff has no idea what they are doing. My first donation was ok but the phlebotomist the second time was such a bad stick that she gave me a hematoma the size of a golf ball on my right arm?. I've donated whole blood since I was eighteen and never had a problem with my arms. When I asked when I could come back they said within a week but when I came back they turned me down because of what THEY DID. Nurses have really bad and rude personalities. Just highly disappointing and I won't
Let me start by saying I don't like needles. But was amazed at how easily the did their job, and I honestly hardly noticed. The people are friendly, professional, and took their time getting me comfortable with it all. I scheduled my third appointment yesterday.
This is a pretty chill location but I'm guessing today was just not that great for the technician that I had at the front. My pulse gets pretty high sometimes because I get super nervous and anxious okay cool whatever. I normally have to wait the ten mins and retake my vitals, again no big deal. I guess I didn't realize that I'm supposed to wait until they tell me that I can get up because everyone else I've had I just kinda see my numbers, laugh and say ?I know I'll go take my seat?. However today, the gir
After some considerable time donating to this location, I finally decided to leave a review. What makes this location so great is the staff that makes this place run like clockwork. The staff at the front and on the floor. My experiences are so enjoyable with friendly interactions with staff members such as Jada, Jasmine, Haley, Rachel, Monet, and Zaida. Such great personalities. I'd also like to point out Maideny, but there is a little conflict of interest there because I may have a bit of a crush! ?? K
Looking to donate plasma for a good cause. Biolife is the place to go. Very organized with professional staff. You need to register online and make an appointment. If this is your first time, you will go through a physical and answer a questionnaire to see if you qualify. Make sure to eat a good meal before coming as you need it being you are donating plasma and don't want to pass out. They have an app and offer referral bonus if you refer others to them. They have a first customer bonus of up to $700 doll
This was my first time ever donating and I had an amazing experience! Everyone is very nice , professional, and efficient! Jada, Joan, Rachel & Jessica were awesome!
The staff is so kind. They truly go above and beyond to make your experience a pleasant one. They are kind, caring and attentive to all donors.
The staff were mostly all very professional and were good at handling patients with care. However, I had 3 failed attempts at donating. I so plan to return and try again, hopefully with success with my donation.
All the staff are professional and always willing to help. At first, I was a bit nervous, but the team was incredibly supportive. They took the time to explain every step of the process, which made everything much easier to understand. I truly appreciate their patience and dedication. Highly recommended!
I have gone to other plasma places. By far this is the worst place. Front staff just standing and talking while there is a long line for check in. Front staff are not correctly trained on how to do vitals. Blood drops on floor in public bathroom, staff was aware and no one cleaned it up. I will not be going back there. There are much cleaner places to go to.
If there was an option for 0 stars , I would?ve definitely given them that. I'm an international student and had all the possible documentations the gov has given me. The first time I went today there was a Hispanic woman who was very dismissive from the start, she then had to call her supervisor because she didn't know to deal with people without social, she then sends me back saying that she can only accept a physical copy of the document that was going to be used in place of the social. When I came back
Worst plasma center ive been to & I've donated for 7 years. a bunch of young employees who get mad if you ask for anything or need any help. Ive had more than 3 phlebotomists be rude to me when ive asked for a needle readjustment. wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.
Most of my visits at the new location are ok. I did see 3 people standing around in one section and 2 ladies in another section running around trying to keep up with the patients. And when they were pulling the tubes from the machine next to me, she was splashing plasma all over me, when she realized she apologized and wiped where she could see drops, but still pretty gross.
Biolife is a very exceptional Plasma Center. Very clean and the staff is way friendly. It is clean and they are fast. Would not go anywhere else
So here's a photo of my arm that I've used for four of them and then I used my other arm for my last one but I've done this five times really simple easy process they keep that place extremely clean and it doesn't smell bad to be honest The people there funny and friendly so if you're the manager over there you're staff needs a raise they're too kind not in a bad way but like they're just really funny and down to earth! The lines aren't that long Don't let anyone fool you I've gone there pretty much almost
The staff was so wonderful during my first visit and great bed side manor. As crazy as it gets to donate, all the employees are patient and kind. Shanika at the front was absolutely amazing- kind. Sweet soul.
My appointment was for 1:50pm. I was on time after questions on computer and physical I finally made it to the chair for donating at 4:30. The wait time was way too long. Just to find out 2 technicians could not find my veins after 2 sticks. So I could not donate. I was told try to go to another plasma donating company they may use smaller needles. First time ever trying this it was a horrible experience wasted time and 4 hours.
Have brought a friend here multiple times and almost every time they refuse to service her for one reason or another, AFTER making her wait 30 min to 1 hour. There is also a bad technician here causing massive hematomas and bruises that needs to be retrained. Incredibly unprofessional. Go to octapharma or just any other location than this one, you'll thank me!
I had such an amazing experience at Lewisville Biolife. Zaida and Shauna really took care of me, i?ll be back for sure!
As inflation rises, donor compensation drops. While the facilities around D-FW are decent, they're hardly worth the hassle? with low payouts and the fact that they're selling your plasma and personal data for financial gain. Pay close attention to the intake paperwork: the wording states you're waiving your HIPAA rights.
Was told I had to stop because of the ?pressure? and I wasn't sure what that meant until I clarified the situation. I don't know what has to happen so I can donate easier. They blew my vein when the repositioned the plasma needle.
I've had a great experience with the customer service team at BioLife. They're always friendly and do their best to get you in and out efficiently. Sundays and Mondays can sometimes be a bit short-staffed, so there might be a slight wait, but even then, they work hard to keep things moving as quickly as possible. Overall, I appreciate their effort and the positive atmosphere they maintain!
Everything is fine until one of the Tech don't put the needle right way, then you end up with a purple arm and cant donate on your next appointment because you have a purple arm that is not your fault so you loose your money. That is my only complaint! everything else it good. Good Customer service, clean and well run.
Lewisville is my favorite location so far . Very friendly staff with an eclectic music taste. I've never had a long wait which can happen from time to time on Sundays at different locations.
A few days ago I went to donate plasma. In the middle of the procedure, I started to feel dizzy and with a lot of pain in my arm. What happened was that they did the procedure wrong and they pierced the vein in such a way that the blood caused an injury in my arm and many bruises. To this day, I have trouble moving it. I consulted the doctor on site to get some medication, but they did nothing.
I had an absolutely terrible experience at the Lewisville location. I had my vein blown on my right arm and my vein collapsed on my left vein. I was told by BioLife that I was fine and that my veins were irritated. That was wrong. I went to my local fire station for them to look at my arms. They confirmed that I had a blown and collapsed vein and that there was no need for them to miss both arms as I have great veins. I emailed twice with no response. I would not go to this location.
Donating at BioLife has been a truly pleasant experience! The staff here are incredibly supportive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They're highly professional, and for someone like me who cringes at the sight of a needle, they've been amazing at helping me overcome that fear. There were even times I didn't even notice the needle was in! Each visit feels comfortable and stress-free, thanks to their attentive care and calming approach. I highly recommend BioLife to anyone interested in donating?it's a wonderful
A great staff! The whole crew is very helpful and informative! The get you in and out rather quickly.
The staff is always great, but there have been too many times that the sign-in computers have been faulty. Half of the times that I go in, the computer touch screens don't work and some of the times that I know that I answered the questions correctly, the end result was that I answered in a way that I was "unsure" and had to delay the process of getting in line to donate. This has happened far too often and I will probably stop going.
Most friendly staff I've ever met. Very welcoming and attentive to all your needs.
Each visit has been very pleasant with friendly interaction with each staff member.
The whole team/crew is always receptive and genuine. Cruise (Stocky - bald head - could have the name wrong) is tremendous at his post always in a good mood and keeps it positive. All the nurses are welcoming, and the facility is well kept. Bruno is great as well as his team
I am a regular donor the quality of the staff, as well as cleanliness of the bathrooms, has gone considerably down. I made an appointment walked in today to be told. I don't have an appointment and they can't squeeze me in even though they are not busy. I spoke with a manager who is a female. She said there's nothing she can do about it even though she could?ve allowed me to donate considering . Rachel is one of the technicians is extremely rude. Bruno is an excellent manager. Unfortunately not all manager
I have donated at a couple different plasma centers and Biolife is the best by far! As a whole from the employees to the compensation! And they are the fastest and treat you the best!
Very slow. The attendants seem to help people not based on who has an appointment but on what a person looks like, their ethnicity or sex.
Two stars and only because some of the people here are nice. But are you sure that this new non saline process is truly safe? I just found out that this center did not return all of my red blood cells two separate times with this new process and never said a word to me. I am now deferred for 2 months without warning because of the lack of competency to see the remaining red blood cells not returned and because of this new non-saline practice that leaves red blood cells in the machine without flushing them o
First I go to check in for my appointment as a first time donor. Receptionist told me that I don't have an appointment. So I have to show her the confirmation on my phone. She approved that and then I had to get all the necessary documents. I was told a bank statement was good proof of residency. It says it on the website too. To be told that was wouldn't work later on. Then I had to fill out all the questionnaires. The questions are EXTREMELY misleading and poorly written. It's like they are meant to trip
This location is very poorly run. I donate on a consistent basis. 2 weeks ago a tech poorly placed a needle and the flow was not great. I told him it felt like it was in the muscle. He said ?it's not?. He continued with the process. I finally had to ask another associate to fix it because I was in pain. We switched arms. As of today, I am still heavily bruised. I went to the center to have it checked and possibly donate, because hey, we all need money. I got here early before my appointment because I didn't
The staff is great here, and most everyone is really helpful. Special shout out to Jada, Naomi and Dolores for always being friendly and kind, they're some of the first interactions anyone has here and they make people feel welcome. Katy and Andrea are great leaders and help out wherever they can, and inspire others. Amber and Parker are so nice and helpful, and gentle, when they are hooking you up to machine and sticking you. Cruz is a standout and makes for an enjoyable time with all his singing, his
From the moment I walked in my experience was great. The entire staff was amazing! The ladies at the front desk were kind, compassionate and attentive. The nurse went above and beyond answering all my concerns. The staff in the back made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process; I didn't even feel the needle going in which was amazing. They are truly the glue to this entire donation process. They deserve a raise! Seriously, they do deserve it.
Donating with a cause is always fulfilling. Was my first time to donate a plasma and it's good to know it will save lives...Be sure to download their mobile app they have helpful hints before and after going there. There's also perks when donating here...
Tried calling their number multiple times and it rings a few times and hangs up, how is someone supposed to get ahold of them, makes no sense for a business not to have a way for people to get ahold of them
staff members having inappropriate conversations about other workers in front of me. only 1 nurse on duty and she was ok.. I understand she's the only nurse having to accommodate others and it's gets frustrating. so many different workers kept trying to fix the needle because the first girl didn't properly place it in now I have a BIG bruise on my forearm.
The staff was very kind and helpful, they were able to answer any questions I had about the process.
Extremely unprofessional and rude manager, I don't remember her name. The staff are fine, but one of them messed up my procedure and now I can no longer receive the $800 new donor bonus. Words of advice: 1. Go literally anywhere else 2. Always ask for an inside vein
Today was my first successful trauma free donation for plasma out of 3 tries I've had. My first experience at the Dallas location was the traumatic one from cleanliness, coldness of the staff, and pain from the needle the entire donation. The second time I was interrupted by a faulty setup from my plasma bag. Today however, changed my mind and will have me return. The staff was absolutely delightful at this location, and Jake was amazing from working with me on the proper vein to use, extremely kind, and mo
I can not say enough good about this location! I drive 45 min past 3 other locations just to come to Lewisville. The staff is so amazing it hard to call out just a few of them but Naomi, Taylor, Bailey, Jada, Bruno and Kassandra are at the top. They make it enjoyable and fun unlike the other centers I have been to. It is a testament to the great management team that their staff not only do an amazing job but seem to really enjoy what they do so much. This location should be a model for the staff and managem
I recently started to donate plasma, it was a good cause and it helped with a little extra money. I was in my second month and planned to continue, however, my recent experience at the Lewisville donation center was terrible. You go online prior to coming in to schedule your appointment. I appreciate this since like many of us, I'm have time sensitive obligations (work etc.) My appointment was at 9:05am on Sunday, I walked in to a long line?which honestly usually is not the case. By 9:40am I was finally in
Joan was the most sweet lady!! She gave me 2 snacks, extra water and walked me through the whole experience as it was my very first time!! She signed me up on the app, helped me find the promotion so I could get paid more, and she even came and checked on me afterwards!! I wish Joan was apart of the process every time I go, not just the 1st time because she was an absolute sweet pea!! Staff was professional, kind and clean!! The facility is very Peaceful and plays awesome music. I had a lady named Jaiden ta
If y'all are looking to make extra money by donating plasma, be sure to avoid Biolife over off of main. They have given me issues time and time again, wasting my time when I need the money. Others I know have had good experiences, but they have some incompetent staff there.
This is the best center I have ever donated at. The entire staff is always extremely friendly and considerate of all donors. Amber AR, Sarah L, Naomi, and Vada all particularly stick out, as they provide exceptional customer service without fail. The staff works hard to make sure all donors have a seamless donation experience! Additionally, Andrea, Cathy, and Kassandra have consistently gone above and beyond their specific roles to ensure that I have a pleasant experience every time I come in. I truly look
I showed up for my 3rd donation which was a scheduled apt. Only to be told I couldn't donate because of an abnormal protein lab result (taken from my first apt). No one contacted me to tell me there was an issue, and I was not compensated for the hour it took out of my day to go to the center for my scheduled apt. I was told I would need to go back 2 days later to retest and that I would still have to wait for the results before I could donate again. I was informed that I would not receive all of the new do
I've been coming to this location for almost a year now and I have no complaints. It's easy to get in an out in about an hour. The staff here is nothing short of amazing. Even with new hires coming in there's still some great staff. Specifically Haley and Jada who work at the front. They always say hi and ask me how I'm doing and have a way of making you feel welcome, whether it's your first donation or your hundredth. Highly recommend coming here ??
It was my 1sr experience with Bio Plasma. The staff was very professional and courteous. The whole process was very smooth.
They allow too many appointments to be booked and they are not staffed to handle the volume, which creates frustration on all sides. It is also ridiculously cold at this location, I understand the need to keep the temperature low, but arctic blast seems unnecessary.
I've been donating here for a while and it's been ok so far. About a month ago the technician Angel who was very obviously new at this poked me wrong and gave me a hematoma. Someone else had to come and switch arms. I didn't say anything or complain because I figured what's done is done and she's obviously still learning. Now with my most recent donation attempt I got Angel again. This is the exchange we had verbatim: Me: ?I'm really sorry but could somebody else poke me today?? Angel: ?That's actually not
AVOID BIOLIFE AT ALL COSTS I have been consistently donating plasma for sometime now. And I have rarely had any bad experience until I begin to use BioLife centers to take advantage of the New donor bonus. Huge mistake... After making 4 donations, the last one being the worst, I've decided never to donate there again and to tell everyone I know to avoid their centers! On my very first donation, the first tech did not set the needle correctly and the machine kept alarming. So she came back and pushed the ne
This place is GREAT. Nothing but good vibes all the employees are very kind and helpful. Although, who I think sines the brightest is Amber Arrida. Every time I go, she's always the most welcoming and happiest here. She has always had an amazing attitude ever single day I've gone.
This place is amazing the staff is great and professional.. I don't like needles so they make the process so easy for me .. thank you for all yall do!!
I have been donating here for a couple of months now and I will say my experience here is always great and they make sure you are well taken care of? ps faith who works in the front processing is amazing every time she sticks my finger to draw blood I don't feel no pain and she puts the band-aid on for you ?????? not all of them do that but she is kind hearted enough to do so?. Give her a raise for her kindness and hard work????
I have had a good experience for the most part here. Yes, the wait has been a bit long at times but I have donated plasma at other facilities and it can be that way at times everywhere. The issue I have had is that twice with the same screening tech my hematocrit was low. I wouldn't have thought much about it except the last time this happened she told me that she had to turn the last three donors away for the same thing. I asked her to please have someone else read the results but she went ahead and moved
Everyone is always friendly and always very helpful. I've never had a bad experience here at the location in Lewisville Tx.
it's always a good vibe walking in, sarah was super quick with my intake! managers/leads are always helping out and present upfront. i have one closer to my home but choose to come to this one as i didn't have a good walk in experience with the other location. staff are very attentive and always saying hi to everyone even just walking by.
I had given it 5 stars back when they first opened but since then the experience has declined substantially. I don't know if it's low staffing or too many donors but more often than not I'll be there 10min early and still can't seem to get stuck till 15min or more after my scheduled appointment.
Everytime I do my donation it's always a good vibe. Staff is friendly and they always keep the place nice and clean very comfortable. I get along with Amber she's just easy to talk to. She does her job very well and makes things nice, quick and smooth.
Super friendly staff and easy process to get on boarded. I've been coming regularly since October 2023 and it's gotten to the point where you see the same people and become friendly with them. I talk books with Allison and check in with a number of other staff like Amber at every visit.
The people are nice friendly can't ask for anything more
Very welcoming and helpful staff everyone there is friendly and will make you feel comfortable about the whole process. It can be very busy at times and you have to wait but other than that I have nothing but good things to say.
Had an amazing experiencing coming back for the first time after over a year away! Natasha and Hazel made it a smooth and easy appointment.
You'll be in good hands if you donate here. They take your health as first priority and you get paid immediately after your visit which is great. But if there are any issues on their end during your visit be prepared to have your time wasted with no remorse.
Last week I had cathy (the manager) did my preparation and when I tell you she was amazing! I don't know what happened but she asked me if I was ok? Am like yes ma?am but when i look down the needle was already in, she is that good! I want to thank you for the smooth experience everyone is nice there really nice thats the only reason I keep coming back.
The staff is amazing. I would have been very satisfied but the pay drops drastically after the promotion. I think our donation is worth more than 45 and 70 especially after doing research and seeing what y'all get from it.
I have been coming here over a year now. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I drive from Fort Worth to the Lewisville location and it is absolutely worth the drive to me. Jada is especially my favorite. She's always in the front smiling and laughing and carrying on conversations with everyone. Her positive energy is contagious. Not only that, she's given me helpful tips for donations, including to eat beets. I really appreciate Jada and all the staff and BioLife Lewisville?s
I remember we used to be able come in and get a chair within 15 minutes. It's ridiculous that they allow so many people to make appointments at the same time. As I'm typing this it's been 50 minutes since I got here and I still haven't gotten a chair.
The staff here at the Lewisville, Texas location are amazing. The only place that needs attention are the restrooms. They are neglected and are always in need of cleaning in the afternoons. This needs to be addressed.
I have been coming to this Biolife since 2020. I don't know what is going on with some of the employees. They don't seem like they know what they are doing. Even more so, I have waited for almost an hour 3 times in a row. Especially the blonde with nose piercing. I don't know why, but when I come up and donate. I don't know her. She sees me come into her section and passes me off to someone else, and she goes somewhere else. Multiple people wait. People who come in after me. Leave before I do. This has happ
I just want to share my experience. So about a week ago I went and donated at this (plasma) location which in order to do they take your vitals(blood pressure, heart rate, iron protein etc.) Which you have to meet all metrics to even donate. So my vitals met all metrics and I donated. During my donation I was told that they had to take a blood sample to run extra test. So I did. I came back a week later to donate again and I was told I wasn't able to donate because my protein was low. I'm just confused on h
I have been a fairly donor for two years. I think the staff is great at this location. Wait times vary a lot and I expect there is reason for it each time. I go to appointments expecting two hours for the donation process - if I am done early, I am thrilled and if not, I am not surprised. I hope this location can improve the process time with more staff. I do hope that BioLife will keep compensation at $140/week or better. It does make it worth the trip. It has been a long time since extra bonus incentives
Had such a nice time saving lives. Very nice facility and very nice workers! Mckenna did a great job sticking me, quick and easy just how I like it. Delores did my evaluation and she was just the sweetest thing.
I have gone to this location twice now. First time I went in, I was all ready with my new donor coupon and everything. I was in there for 2 hours BEFORE I even got to the physical portion. I was differed for having a tattoo that was too fresh (my fault). I then waited?scheduled a new, new donor appointment. I was then told the ?new donor coupons no longer apply to me since I ?attempted to donate? previously. Fine whatever, $40 for a first donation somewhere seems kinda low but I went in anyway. I came in fo
some of the staff is slow, inattentive, and unenthusiastic about their work. i was dismissed by a random employee to leave after my donation instead of the one that was supposed to be timing and monitoring me. now, i got an email like i missed the appointment when i didn't, and i can't make a second appointment because my account doesn't even show my first visit as completed.
I have never had a good experience donating blood so I was nervous about donating plasma BUT after Dave Ramsey said its a good way to make extra money I tried and its not bad. All of the employees are caring, sweet, professional and very good at their job.
The staff at Lewisville are professional and friendly! They put people at ease well and work as quickly as possible, despite lots of demand. Their cleanliness and health standards are high, so I feel safe going there, even if I get deferred occasionally, as it's because of their high standards all around for health and safety.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
