I was so nervous my first time here! But BIG Mike and Dylan had me laughing and feeling at ease! Great atmosphere! Great attitudes! Awesome and amazing people work here! Can't wait til my next visit! Great way to help out others while making some $$$
I appreciate the friendly staff for their great service. I especially give kudos to Elizabeth for going the extra mile to make my donation a pleasant experience. She was very professional at her job, putting me at ease that i was in good hands. She's an asset to your company. Keep up the good work.
So the lady that ended up sticking me with a needle was allegedly certified to do it but not even 2 days ago she wasn't?. Now all of sudden she was?? Yeah right? well needless to say she ended up blowing my vien out on the first stick and I didn't even get to donate?. So yeah my visit was not very great?. To improve my experience next time maybe have someone that is actually certified and knows what's going on? she clearly was not certified to do it?.
Everyone was very nice, helpful and professional. They make you understand everything really well, I wasn't confused and I was able to get through really. It was my first time so I had to get my Physical done, that didn't take long either. I had Frank do my physical and he was Very helpful and polite, he had me understand everything right before i got started with the process. Everything went well and i was satisfied with everyone there.
Their tech who tried to get my vein was obviously not properly trained and did not use proper technique, punctured my vein all the way through, leaving my arm horribly swollen and bruised. The next time I went in, I showed them, and they did take note, but still allowed me to donate using my other arm, and that was it, nothing else was said to me. I was still supposed to give three more times last month, but after that visit, I was no longer able to schedule in the app. It kept saying I was not eligible to
The service here is always Fast and Friendly. Everyone always has a smile on their face even at the very end of a long Day. That helps keep me motivated to continue to come back to this exact location!!!!
They are amazing. Even the nurses in the hospital have a hard time finding my vein and the vein rolling. They always get it right away and never have to rest?ck. It's always quick and easy to do ate here.
Always a wonderful experience! Sometimes it's in and out, sometimes you wait, but that has nothing to do with the staff there. When someone has a bad reaction, they are there and promptly assist them. I've witnessed it quite a few times. Love the energy, love the people. Easy way to make extra cash while also giving back.
I, like most have had a fear of needles for some time. I was treated very well and professionally my first two donations. My 3rd attempt nurse was distracted or overwhelmed, blew my left arm, and gave the option to move to the other arm. 4th visit was normal, though I could tell I was out of the "new donor" treatment. My 5th donation was entirely different. 6:05 appointment. The environment was frantic, not sure if shift change or poor management but it was apparent that employees were disorganized and frus
Wendy and Steve help me on my first donation to become comfortable and explained everything very well! Wendy was awesome!!! She definitely make me want to return.
The employees are very nice and well accommodating. Each time I've gone I was greeted with the same kind hospitality. Plus they know what they're doing here.
BioLife is fantastic. Everyone very nice and friendly. very comfortable place to donate. They all go out of their way to make you feel comfortable
If I could post pictures of both of my arms I would. I was in there Tuesday (right arm)of this week, then today, Thursday (left arm) The same lady tried but had someone else to get it in my vein on Tuesday?..THEN on Thursday the same lady gave me a hematoma!!! Of course I am deferred for 8 weeks and that is not at all why I am upset. I am upset because both of my arms in one week with the same lady are messed up!! She also had the guy across from me on Tuesday have to quit and do his other arm! I understand
I had a Great experience everyone was so friendly, an Frank is the best, he did my physical and was very professional, an made me feel comfortable. Overall i had a Great experience.
Great place to go donate plasma. The staff were so nice, and the process was quick and painless. My health screening doctor Frank was amazing. For my first time donating, it was awesome. Will definitely be going back.
Love the staff! William always cracks me up and is always sporting a smile. With such positive people it makes the time donating pass so quickly.
2 successful donations but all of a sudden, my heart rate there is always high but I don't feel it from that to being told that I gotta have a doctor sign off on it and being given the run around. I have no food to eat and being rejected. No they don't even deserve 1 star
Frank was super kind in answering all my questions, and he had such a kind demeanor and great sense of humor.
The staff was very nice and engaging. The visit was wonderful and the atmosphere made me feel at home. Thank you for the great experience!!!
This was my very first time & for a good cause towards medicine. The staff was nice, the nurse Mrs Rhonda was amazing. She was very professional, kind and her personality was everything. I also met Steve who is the Site Director/Manager there who was also very nice and professional. They were also informative, which made the process and the experience a great one. I highly recommend this location
?This was my first time donating plasma, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and smooth the process was. The staff was incredibly kind, supportive, and well-trained, making the experience even better. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!?
This was my first time donating Plasma and they could not of made you feel more welcomed! The staff was phenomenal, the place is spotless and it was such an easy process. I look forward to going to my next appointment!
The actual donation experience is good with staff that is nice and a facility that is well-kept. The issue is always how long it takes to actually donate. Having an appointment doesn't matter when you have to stand in line for 45 minutes just to get vitals and another 45 in the waiting area to finally get to the donation chair. As of late, I have yet to get in and out with an hour and a half with my longest being over 3 hours and that's after my appointment time. I've tried appointments at different times o
First time back to Biolife in quite some time. The Longview location was great. Frank and the rest of the staff were all very friendly. I've been donating since 2007 and I've been to several locations. This was my best Biolife experience yet.
I was stopping by because I'm new here in Texas from Nevada, I was a twice a week donor in Las Vegas Nevada. I had previously stopped at OCTAPHARMA, where I was told to come back because I needed an unopened envelope if mail of all things after driving over 50 miles to donate. As I was driving home I seen BIOLIFE and remembered their logo and went in to see if I could donate. BIG MIKE took me right in and pulled up my old file from Vegas. He immediately did my physical and I was able to donate right then. T
All the ladies up here are real nice and sweet easy get in do your thing and get up that make it comfortable
Bio life Longview is aClean and professional environment. Every employee in there is very thorough and ready to assess your needs. I donate there two times a week.
Every time I have came to this place this lady name Elizabeth always gives me positive reaction even when I was afraid to keep coming she's like an angel sent from above she always has a smile on her face which Is always amazing especially after a hard day but my experiences have nothing short of amazing all the staff is wonderful and friendly
Big Mike made my first time nice and smooth. It was way faster and way easier than I thought it would be and he did it with a smile
Everyone from Steve ,Mike ,Emma ,Lvn ,AND everybody is proficient in patient care . Nice place to make abit of cash when sumthing comes up but have to get stick w a needle . Biolife needs to give more initiatives & higher pay to cont to keep coming back . TY!
Elizabeth is a good at what she does, she knows what she is doing and when she sticks you don't feel it, holds a conversation with you to make you feel comfortable before you start donating.
Just finished my second donation here, and Rhonda is wonderful and made my experience as easy as possible both times. I will definitely be coming back!
Heather was kind and gentle during my visit. She made the process as easy and comfortable as possible.
Mike, (Big Mike) was an excellent tech. Pretty sure he changed my views on life itself. Would recommend
I recently started donating again after 4 years and was so happy that there is now a location in Longview! Huge shout out to Big Mike and Stephanie on the nursing staff who made the whole process super simple and so enjoyable. You guys are awesome!
Well, there was only 2 nurses who could hit my vein properly. my last donation was horrible, the needle came out and ruined my jeans. Now I am thinking about not returning to donate anymore.
The staff are very kind and are quick to resolve any issues that arise. The facility is very clean and it is quick the get the hang of how the process works. The only downside is that the waits at this location are VERY long. I usually come to my appointments early and I still don't get in a chair until about an hour after my appointment. For example, I usually schedule my appointments for around 7:00 and try to get in around 6:45. At my last appointment, I didn't leave the facility until around 8:45. Tod
The facility is friendly and clean. Very professional. There can be a wait on their busy days, but generally it moves very quickly. Elizabeth is the absolute best! Can't even feel the poke when she's working with you. 10/10 would recommend.
Big Mike was the only helpful person. It took 4.5 hours to get through my SCHEDULED donation. The workers lost my paperwork twice and left me sitting for long periods of time because I was forgotten. Icing on the cake was them messing up the information leading to me having to come back to the location because they would not answer phones. The card would not activate, the workers will ignore you flat out. I was passed around haphazardly and after being at the location for another hour they have still yet to
I've been going to the plasma place for about 7 months now and although each time is different depending on how busy they are, this morning I had to wait longer than usual. When I finally got seated in a section, the employee, Dylan, immediately acknowledged me and let me know he'll be over in just a minute since he was helping someone else. When he got to me just a minute or so later he was kind and very professional. My frustration from it taking so long immediately vanished as his positive energy put me
Every single time I try to donate here I'm waiting 2 to 4 hours if not longer, with a SCHEDULED donation It doesn't matter what day, morning or afternoon. The waiting room always seems to be full with 3 to 5 people sticking and only 2 to 3 bed areas out of the 6 they have. It's faster to drive to Tyler and donate there. I do not recommend.
Very professional, donating is always quuck and easy. Very clean and quiet environment. They make donating a breeze.
Frank did a good job and was professional the entire time if my physical
Chelsea always does an amazing job! She even came out of the lab to stick me today. For some reason people have a hard time hitting my veins, but Chelsea always does it without any issues. No pain or pressure and she's always so nice. 5 stars to Chelsea!
It's good to donate to save lives and the bonus pay is awesome. The issue is they are NEVER ON TIME! You're required to schedule appointments and it seems they never have enough staff scheduled to get you in withing 40 minutes of your scheduled time. What should take an hour ALWAYS takes 2. This is frustrating because life is busy. It would be awesome if they would schedule enough staff to make the process move faster. Today after waiting an hour I walk over to see how many are still in front of me, 8. I a
Longest lines I've seen integer starting bay. 1h to be exact. T after waiting I was told I can't donate today because high blood pressure, no pay since I was in the starting bay as well, waste of time.
Not a good experience. The needle wasn't put in my arm right and it caused the machine to burst my vein. That cause me to have a reaction, which cause me to have a migraine for the next six days. Worst experience of my life
Elizabeth did a real good job today was an overall good experience will be back
I frequent this center and it's always a pleasant experience. The staff is great, they have a phlebotomist named Elizabeth. She has a dope energy, and in my opinion she the G.O.A.T. when it comes to the "Set up and Stick" process I never feel a thing. BioLife pays decent as well which makes everything all the better. If you are a current donor or possible interested in becoming a donor, I would recommend you give BioLife a try!
Frank had great customer service and so did my tech who took care of me.
Amazing, helpful, fast, accurate, and kind are just a few words that come to mind when thinking of the staff here
Everyone here is always so kind and attentive. They always make sure you're pain free and comfortable!
Big Mike absolutely killed it! He knocked out the checkup super quick, and made it fun too! We shared a lot in common, and he was really fun to talk to. I hope he gets a good bonus soon.
I really like this entire place in general! I'm in and out within 30-45 mins. Everyone is so nice and helpful! But Mrs. Tonya Harris is my #1 go to! She always smiling she treats each person like they are a famous person! She is easy to talk to, she is easy to ask questions or anything! If she doesn't know something she will find out! She definitely goes above and beyond her work duties and she goes above common courtesy! If I could give her a tip every time I seen her I would! She just has a way of making
Steve the manger and Rhonda nurse were both amazing. They had amazing customer service skills and make me feel right at home while donating. Nurse mike was also great!
Olivia is my favorite! Ps. Nell is always fun to be around!!
Nurse Wendy was informative and caring. She answered all of my questions and calmed my nerves. Thank you!
I have donated here over 50 times now and I would say that I have had a majority of good experiences donating here. I would say out of the 50 times that I have donated, there has been 4 times where something didn't go as planned. To me that is a good average. The money definitely helps make it a great choice to participate in their services. The app is easy to use and the debit payment is consistant. There are times where the weekly totals drop without explanation and they can get pretty low to where I qu
My first time experience here was phenomenal. The people are very nice, the atmosphere is is soothing, and the ladies that do all the work are great. My favorite is Jasmine. She is such a wonderful person inside and out. I really appreciate how she took care of my ever need without any hesitation, or attitude. She has a beautiful spirit, and I recommend you to go there and visit with them
Just finished my second donation here, they're absolutely wonderful and make the experience as calm as possible. If you're nervous they definitely take care of you. Fran and Brittany are great, there was another that was amazing my first donation but I didn't catch her name. I'll definitely be a regular here! Everyone is awesome.
My first visit went really well! Everyone was super friendly and explained everything in depth and clearly. Monica was awesome too! She got the needle in no problem and was super friendly the whole time. Dana was also very nice. She got the needle out with no discomfort and was really sweet! Overall loved how clean the facility was. Will definitely be coming back.
I was there and went through alot of step and took about 2 hours and They wouldn't let me donate cause I have a Stent and if I can't donate cause I have a Stent that should be on there web site so people don't waste their time. I looked it up on Google and it says you can donate plasma with a Stent as long as it's after 6 months it's been almost 3 years. So they wasted my time
This place is good because you can make some extra money while helping people but the downside is that literally anyone can work there. They just train them and then let them start sticking people. Most of the time it's a good experience as far as them getting the needle in your vein the first time or at least first few times but then sometimes your not so lucky and they poke and poke and then switch arms. Or, they miss it and when they pump your blood back in it goes all under your skin causing a hematoma
This place is clean and really runs well. Feel good about donating here.
Place is a joke compared to the Tyler center. Not enough staff and they'd rather gossip than do their job. While sitting at the finger stick three people behind me ended up infront of me because the tech I got was clearly not trained in efficiency.
I really enjoy coming here to donate. Everyone is always so nice and it seems like they actually like their job. I always see smiles and laughter. Mike, Dom, Serenity, Krystal, Jaralynn are just some of the people who make that place amazing. They are always working so hard. Thank y?all for all you do and I appreciate the kindness and effort you guys put into your job. It does not go unnoticed by donors.
Back to their old bag of tricks. After Christmas they were doing great. Now the vitals line is backed up with minimum nurses at the stations
Professional and friendly staff! Big Mike was easily one of the best practitioners I've ever met!
my nurse Heather was amazing!! overall service was pretty slow, but they are extremely busy so it makes sense. so thank you Heather for making it an overall amazing experience for me!
Staff are nice, generally a fairly short wait time.
The initial visit was amazing everyone was so kind. Wish I could remember the Nurses name! I'll have to leave another review for her and the young lady that helped me. One was an Assistant Manager her and the nurse were great! Brittany assisted me as well. Thankful for the opportunity but really upset in November they told me I couldn't come back until after 1/5/24. I don't understand why donating is a breeze one day for me and then they have hell the next. Frustrating to say the least.
They are very friendly. They also try very hard to get you in and out quickly
I should have gone to Grifols in Longview. Donated yesterday and still haven't been paid.
Friendly staff, welcoming and stress free environment, very capable team, much better in the Longview center then Shreveport, Shreveport bio life is terrible
It was my first visit I went with my Granddaughter and Grandson. Frank was very helpful
This was a100% positive experience for me. Big Mike,Rhonda, Morgan and Cam were professional curtious, and informative. Very nice facility. Very clean. Mike and Rhonda explained procedures and were really courteous. I am a 38 year retired nurse and taught staff. I know quality healthcare when I see it and believe me, this is a place that goes above and beyond Quality. Congratulations on a superior staff!
Big Mike made the process of becoming a first time donor super easy and efficient. Very knowledgeable in his job and able to answer any questions with a professional, positive attitude. I'll admit I was a bit scared going in but I was reassured by him that things would go smoothly and they did. Thanks Big Mike for making the experience of donating plasma fun and easy!!
Great location. Nice staff. Quick and easy!
Big Mike is the best for your nurse visit and Dylan is the best for your sticks. Both super friends and easy to deal with. They make the experience worth the time!
Everyone was very helpful and took the time to explain things. Big Mike was very helpful and cheerful and set the tone for a good experience. Thank you.
Everyone was extremely nice. A man named Alex was at the front desk and helped me through the first steps on what to do here. And when I went to do my physical, Mr. Greg was also respectful and treated me well during and after the physical. While I started the plasma work, Ms. Dana helped me through step by step. I definitely felt comfortable here and you guys have a great team. No one was disrespectful or rude and I appreciate all y'all are doing with your time.
Came for the money, stayed for Big Mike?s humor. Love how real he is and how he made the process easy and laidback. Steve was great too. Good center, would recommend.
Every employee I have interacted with has been great. Fran was the nurse I saw on my first visit and she was great. Steve has been super nice every time I've donated. Emma is great too. I haven't had a bad experience here at all.
Bio Life is a great place to donate plasma the employees are great too Ashley is one of the their best employees and a few others. I learned a lot about myself through this great experience . Knowing I can help someone and make a few BUCK$ at the same time keeps me coming back every week.
Great first visit to BioLife in Longview, Texas. Big Mike took care of me, and made sure I understood everything and made the experience fantastic!! The staff are so great, communicate well and helped me understand what to expect.
I've had a great experience with getting started. Thanks Big Mike, Carlos and Rhonda for all your help! Edited to update: I've reduced from 5 stars to 4 stars because my last 2 visits there were astronomical waiting times (2 hours the last time!! Was there 4 hours start to finish!!). I completely understand being understaffed if that's the issue. If it is, then they need to reduce the amount of available appointment times to make sure they can handle the work load. Sadly, I'm not a good candidate for don
First time ever to Donate, but it is for a wonderful cause for someone else that really needs it. Took a little longer than I thought it would, but I met some amazing people. One of the ladies was Ms Rhonda. She walked me through everything and what to expect and even sat and talked a few minutes with me because I was a little nervous about everything and gave me some encouraging words about some things I am going through. Thank you so much Ms Rhonda, you are amazing. This is something I would definitely re
Elizabeth is by far the besttt! she sticks very good , to be honest didn't even feel it ! She's also super sweetttt!!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
