Love the staff here! Everyone does a great job. Not every donation is perfect but I don't except it to be ? veins are difficult and all very unique. The phlebotomists are all kind and professional. Josh will always be a favorite, as well as Carly, Logan and Tristan to name a few. I'm grateful for a place I can earn money on the side as needed. Thanks for making my donations painless + easy!
I have been donating for over a year now fairly regularly. I have had nothing but good experiences. Almost all the staff are very friendly, greet you by name. Most even remember to ask about little life tid bits that I've shared so I always feel very welcome. I've only had issues with needle pokes a handful of times and when they happen the phlebotomist is always extreme apologetic and offers a little ice pack for after. My only room for improvement is they really either need to get more machines and up t
New machines are great. That's the only good thing I can say. Staff are lazy/leisurely. Wait times have effectively doubled. Payments have been less and less over the years while the process has become more inefficient. So often there's staff just standing around doing nothing. Why have two sections if your never going to use one? Y'all had the staff to run 4 sections and no bed wait. Now I'm waiting nearly an hour before I even get to a bed, then wait for your staff to set the machines up, then hope some o
Customer service as far as phlebotomists and management is really good. The reason for the 3 stars is due to wait times and the new machines. True the new machines are faster, but there are less of them and there tends to be one section open at a time. Also, the new machines have had some ?glitches? that are frustrating for the donor. Wait times to even get on a bed are getting ridiculous, and then one has to wait for an available phlebotomist to come set up the machine. Again, phlebotomists (Carly is
Honestly love my weekly appointments at this biolife. All the workers are super friendly and good at their positions. Make you feel like they care and get you in and out as quickly as possible. Some of my favorites are rachel, carly and nathan but theres many others i cant remember by name!
The Missoula Biolife center has been incredibly disappointing since switching machines. I fully understand that some wait time is expected, but there's a difference between reasonable delays and the extreme waits that are now the norm. The issue isn't just the wait?it's the fact that Biolife requires donors to schedule an appointment but refuses to hold itself to that same expectation. I reached out through their contact form, and their response made it clear they don't see this as a problem. They stated t
The new machines are nice and the actual process of giving plasma is much quicker but the intake and getting hooked up has double the amount of time it takes. They do not have enough beds or enough employees. You end up standing in line for 45 min to get the finger stick and then wait another 15 to 20 minutes to get hooked up. That is if there is an open bed. If not. That's another wait. The employees are always nice though and it's not their fault. But if this continues to be like this I will stop donatin
First time donor and had a wonderful experience! Staff were kind and respectful and explained every step of the way. They made sure I was comfortable and healthy the whole time. Def deserves 5 stars. And I never leave reviews but this one deserves a good one because I came in nervous not knowing what to expect and they exceeded my expectations.
Still can't seem to keep an appointment schedule. Show up when they first open and already 30- 40 minute waits. Very difficult to keep a daily schedule when appointment times are seemingly irrelevant and wait times now are often longer than the donation itself.
This location has a manager that is rude, unhelpful, and completely uninformed about their own standards of operation. She was unable to answer simple questions concerning the screening process.
I've had good and bad experiences but today was not great. Not only did it take two different phlebotomists to get the needle in the correct position (into a large and easy to reach vein) which left me with a painful hematoma, but halfway through my donation there was a bubble (normal) that ended up with them not being able to return my blood to my body or give me the saline. I don't think I'll be going back.
The staff is wonderful. Very kind, efficient and skilled at what they do. Clean and neat facility. Highly recommend.
It took 48 hours for me to get paid. Biolife didn't even have the decency to give us an extra $20 for the inconvenience that their incompetence caused.
Everyone was very friendly, the donation time was easy and the make you feel at home
Friendly staff, good looking, clean, & comfortable facility. Not a bad way to get some extra cash by spending a couple hours a week donating plasma, which also helps save lives!
Give ALL your employees sensitivity training, most of them are great, but there are a select few who just inconsiderate. My wife went to donate, but we had a miscarriage three months ago and the lady who does physicals at the Missoula, MT location was VERY RUDE about telling her she's unable to donate at this time. Also, when I donated at the same location first thing in the morning, I told them I didn't have anything to eat that morning ( I work full time and I am a full time student, and it was a non pay
4 stars only because they do shove a giant needle into my arm? but they're super sweet about it. ??
The problem was never the machines. The problem is the WAIT for the finger stick line. The problem is the WAIT for a bed. The problem is the WAIT for a set up And hookup. The problem is the WAIT to be unhooked. My appointments are now nearly 2 hours of time out of my day. $40 for the first appointment isn't enough anymore. I've also watched techs repeatedly hook people up to the same machine that keeps malfunctioning. People that have been deferred due to blood loss.
My appointment was canceled for no reason the day before after I had already scheduled my appointments weeks prior and traveled to their location. Some ?nurse? bombed my phone with calls. Took me hours to get a hold of someone. When I finally did, they had no clue what I was talking about and I was on hold forever. They didn't mute the phone though, so I heard them talking trash about me and openly share medical information. You are NOT valued here. Do NOT go here.
The older lady with white hair is extremely rude all the time. there was blood all over the floor in the bathroom so I let a nice lady know who is always so kind and the older lady came over and is extremely rude saying I distracted people because I've let a worker know that there was blood all over the floor in the bathroom. her attitude and demeanor makes it very clear. She would rather be somewhere else. I don't know why she is always at the front desk if she is so unfriendly, she might be a manager may
Over the time of this location on my donations have helped over 2100 patients with life giving medicines. My mother was a recipient of plasma during her fight with cancer. This is truly my motivation for donating, not the sub par "bonus points" and certainly not the DIMINISHING monitary compensation that is being givin to donors. Reciently this company has invested in new collection machines that are make the donation time much quicker. That being said wait time to get thru and onto a bed is longer. T
They recently reduced the amount given to "patients", and on top of that, they now don't give saline solutions to replace the volume of nutrients they've taken. That is described as dangerous and can lead to many health problems. All in the name of profit. They make probably close to 50x the amount they give you when billed to insurance in a clinical setting. This company is literally ran by vampires and thieves, and I would encourage anyone looking for a quick buck to find something else, and stop contr
I've been donating since 2022 and it has only gotten worse and worse to donate every time I've come. I've completed over 60 donations because I want to make a difference (and I also really need the cash because I'm a broke college student) but I'm honestly considering finding a different company to work with. With the new machines that supposedly only take 20-30 mins to complete a donation, it takes me nearly 2 hours to get through the whole process from walking in the doors to getting wrapped up. I'm not s
My name is Byron, I have been donating at this biolife for over 7years now give or take. This place is awesome, friendly and yes everyone knows your name. If you wanta safe and clean atmosphere choose this place. Not only do you get money, but you can save a life.
So far the staff has been the friendliest out of any business I have been to. Only 1 person was average and acted like he wasn't really interested in being there today, but the rest of been remarkable. BioLife really takes care of their donors and makes sure they answer all questions and check on you, while donating. Very impressed!
I get to donate twice a week. The staff is friendly, efficient and very professional. I always feel like I'm in good hands.
I was declined because I didn't have my divorce papers from 30 years ago in Utah. I brought my Real ID my birth certificate and my current marriage certificate but Nope they won't accept my donation without my 30 year old divorce papers. Guess they don't need plasma that bad
The employees can sometimes be curt to the donors, also bring your headphones unless you wanna be stuck in the chair listening to bad music. Other than that donating plasma is an easy way to make some cash. Many of the employees are very nice.
Do not go here! The risk of damage to your nerves, tendons, and veins is not worth it. The workers are not well trained and will inevitably cause damage that cannot be undone.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. Carly was awesome!
Very positive and friendly staff. Dylan was awesome helping me to get back donating. Emma was an absolute doll to me. I am treated like I'm the only person there. They are a treasure to Montana.
What a disappointment. This facility was always a pleasure to visit until yesterday. I went in after work. I am a greenhouse worker so I'm not dressed to impress a lot of days. They were short and suspicious with me. Acting confused why I was there when I had booked an appointment on the application because I like to donate every so often. The holidays being a great time to take advantage of the added promos they always offer. Tami the nurse told me I smelled of marijuana and couldn't donate. Even after I e
Everyone?s super kind. I've never encountered anyone mad or upset. Everyone seems to enjoy working here. With that being said I think staff should be paid more. I think they deserve it.
It was alright the first few visits. Very honest and polite staff, but some Definitely seem like they're just there because they have to be. Definitely a stink of "I'm too good for this" with multiple people, had one yank the needle out and it hurt pretty bad and ached more for a few days. Another time the machine was making an alert and instead of helping or checking it 4 or 5 other just stood in another section having a conversation while the girl covering my section had her hands full. Maybe it's a rule
Schedule appointments that accommodate the available staffing. The scheduling and waits are ridiculous. One of the only places that uses an appointment system, but you can't count on its accuracy. Nearly and hour of wait time is ridiculous.
I have been going here for a few years now. Everyone is very nice and I can't say I've had a bad experience. They do their best to get you in and out as quickly as is safely possible. The money helps out our family (on a teacher salary extra cash is always welcome) and the fact that it helps others is a nice bonus.
I recently started donating plasma and was nervous at first, but everyone at the Missoula center helped me feel safe and comfortable. I've donated 6 times now and the people there have been wonderful every time.
Update: the center manager made it right. It's sad I had to post an unfavorable review to get it corrected. Plus she gave me additional money and a coupon if I donate in the near future. Make sure to read my original review. The phlebotomists are extremely nice. The one nurse with short white hair was helpful. I am giving the center a two because the manager won't do what's right. My issue is that they cheated me out of what I should have been paid. The nurse mentioned above showed me my account which was
I'll be honest. It's slow always a long wait and they mess up a lot and seems like they don't actually know what is really going on with the machines or even the process. I mean your workers SHOULD realize if they screw up they could hurt or kill someone. Staff needs to take this job more serious, they act as if we are not actual people and just experiments? Some of the ladies in there a little stuck up as well as if this job is beneath them. I even saw one new worker say this job is ?Boring? as I'm being d
Definitely recommend the Missoula office. They made the whole process very smooth, kept me informed all the way through to the end. Technician Ken was great, and made me feel relaxed. Mykell who I think was the manager was awesome , and helped me with a difficult appointment situation as well. Every employee I saw or came in contact with appeared to enjoy what they were doing.
What an amazing place. Fantastic staff, amazing atmosphere. The best place to donate plasma
The folks at biolife are amazing. The staff is always friendly. Even lately when they've been super busy and short staffed they almost always stay in good spirits and are super friendly. I know a lot of them by name and I know at least some of them know me by sight and name as well. Even when they're super busy I'm still in and out in less than 2 hours tops and I just make sure that I have that flexibility in my timeline. Can't really complain about getting paid to sit in a chair. I usually make at least $5
I donate plasma religiously, and I am always impressed with the phlebotomist here at biolife in Missoula! They are very thorough and they do their jobs very well. It always seems like they want to be there, and they have a very strong group of people! Shoutout to Trystan especially for always being awesome when I walk through the door to donate!
Time and time again during my visits to this location I have been treated poorly due to my appearance. It is clear that the staff has strong prejudices towards certain folks, and it has in fact been made SO CLEAR to me that I will not be returning. I was "dress coded" by a nurse and made to wear a shirt 3 sizes too large for me, as an adult woman. I have been targeted by one staff member repeatedly, and even though I have used his name over and over again while making complaints to management, there has bee
Hey so I've been coming here to biolife for I'd say on and off 6 years and it's becoming more of a hassle just to come in and donate. Should be an easy process and you play the wait game with the staff just to get seated for the needle stick. Just remember the donors give you our time. Donated over 300 times. I feel like my time is wasted evertime I come in nowadays
The employees are always awesome (professional , knowledgeable, and caring ). Today Amelia, Nathan, and Annie helped me (10/10). The only negative aspect of the center is the cell service is really bad, and the wifi seems like it's out of 1990?s. Definitely would recommend bringing a book or offline entertainment.
I have been donating for around 6 months at the Missoula location. All the staff have been very friendly & knowledgeable. All my payments have been according the the promotions I have in the app. The facility has been clean when I've been there. Josh is always extremely upbeat and helpful.
I have been donating here for a little more than three years now I think and my my experience has always been delightful. The people who work here are professional yet warm. I look forward to my two donations a week and I'm disappointed whenever I am unable to for whatever reason.
I've donated about 12 times without issue. I asked what the point of donating on a Friday or Saturday is if you aren't able to get the 2nd part of the promotion. Was told that you just have to donate within a week?that simply was not true. I am very frustrated with the communication and my experience the last 3 visits. Even after explaining to the staff about the misinformation, I was just blamed for not understanding lol. Hopefully I never have to go to the Missoula location ever again!
I haven't donated in a while. It used to be organized and frankly a fun place to go make some extra money while knowing you were doing a good thing at the same time. I was always treated with respect and if i ever had to wait even 3 munutes someone was apologizing making me feel that my donation mattered. I went back this last week and felt like I was being run through a cattle drive. Other than one veteran employee at the front desk, no one was personable. I stood in line 30 minutes, then sat in a chair f
Excellent explanations from all employees for my first donation. The place was clean, and well organized . Referral bonus certificate presented by me, and wording regarding terms and conditions was confusing?I read it one way, a staff member explained it differently. A manager was called to discuss, and referral was honored. Situation was handled very professionally.
Why is PTSD - in which my symptoms haven't been a problem in years - a disqualifier? the *ableism*! Why was it even a question? Honestly, if I wasn't so worried about being a "Karen", I would demand to speak to the owners. What a disappointing experience and waste a time. On top of that, I need an explanation why two of my friends were turned away for being transgender but not actively on hormones? All they had were just name changes, with no inclination that they want to go on HRT any time in the future.
This place has the best people working for them. Every worker that's come and gone has been friendly and helpful. This truly reflects on the training and management at this Biolife. A few of the workers that you'll run into that will make you feel at home are but not limited to; Bradee, Nathan, Dylan, Jeorganne, Makaiya, Chelsea, Josh, Annie, Annaliese, Spencer, Mark, Danny, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch. I hope the company rewards these individuals for their hard work and professionalism, they deserv
They were predgidist of my address and wouldn't let me donate.
The staff is pretty much always friendly and helpful. I just reached my 1000 (yes, 1000) donation mark. I've never had any problems with needle sticks, have never dealt with poor attitudes and have never seen the center dirty in any way. Being able to help out with plasma donations that help save peoples lives AND getting compensated is a rewarding experience all the way around. The manager Lisa is an awesome, friendly person and does a great job with her staff. I highly recommend to anyone, if you're
This is a terrible place to donate, definitely do not recommend going here. The staff is rude and have poor communication. I would go so far as to say they are racist because they are always looking for reasons to keep me from donating. I love helping out my community but it's not worth dealing with the people who work here. The facility in Great Falls has a much friendlier staff and I enjoyed donating there. Personally I wish I had never stepped foot in the Missoula Biolife and I hope my warning will help
Very disorganized. They had many computer issues to verify me cause of this they had to stick me twice for testing and then asked a 3rd time for training purposes. About an hour into the procedure they disqualified me due to having sleep apnea which I had last time I was there. Was told I would have to do the entire process over again next time I come in. I had a coupon for $1000 for my first month of donations as a returning donor. (Which I wouldn't be able to use next time) so definitely not worth the was
Do not by any means donate at this facility. They will try every way to not pay you what you are owed. First, I had a bonus coupon that was supposed to be an additional payout on top of the regular one, but after donating and seeing that I was paid less than the standard donation amount, I reached out to them and they told me that since I had the coupon they only had to pay that amount and not that and the regular payout (meaning I got paid less than if I didn't have the coupon). Then I referred two donors
People are great. But BioLife has the heartless and foolish idea to reduce compensation during this time while they continue to mark up our plasma. The amount of time it takes is much longer now too - if I have an appointment at 11, donation won't start until at least 11:30 because of how long it takes them (past 6 times and counting) and another 10+ minutes before they unhook you. Not really worth it, especially for a company taking advantage of humans. UPDATE: I've visited them once since they did increas
I have been donating for a long time and they are always friendly and professional. They work hard to get people in and out as quickly as possible. The extra money is very helpful to me and my family and the fact that it helps others is a bonus that makes it that much more rewarding. A+
I've been donating at the Missoula Biolife going on 3 years now. This facility is very clean and has a wonderful staff. I have seen the up and down struggles of staffing issues in the facility, the sometimes long wait times, etc?it's not the staffs fault! The staff doesn't control what's qualifying and disqualifying to donate, the medical organization does. As donors we are choosing to give our time, and for that we get compensated. I've been differed for my pulse being too high or bruising, I had a surgery
Shoutout to Spencer and Josh! There always on it and great at communication skills. I've Been donating for a long long time, not as much for the money but to help save lives. I've have always found the staff polite and hardworking except for one time when the dark haired elder nurse was rude for no real significant reason which made me laugh but it did seem like all the staff was off that day, and also one other time a nurse was rude but I noticed she's been amazing everytime I donate since then. I Had my v
I've been going to Missoula Biolife for about 2 years. My mom needed plasma during covid which is what inspired me to start to donate. Every staff member that I have encountered has been awesome! Josh's professional demeanor and kindness to donors is impeccable! The atmosphere is so organized when he is around. I don't know if he is in a leadership position but I sure hope he is. I feel comfortable about donating because the place is very clean which is very important. Thank you all for doing your job wi
I have donated at BioLife on and off for at least the past five years. It has become pretty bad there. Twenty minutes to get through the line, half an hour in the donation chair without getting my IV when I had scheduled it an hour and a half before work (used to do a donation in 38 minutes from stab to wrap), so it got to the point that I just got up and left. Then there is the few times where I have been deferred from donation lining up with the bonuses and making me wonder if there is something shady
Donating plasma is super easy. Make an appointment, show up and do the questionnaire that only takes a couple minutes, same with taking your blood pressure. Then about an hour or so later I'm leaving. It's super simple and fast. Jeorganne took my blood pressure at the front, she was super nice as well as Braedee, she was the one who put the needle in and what not. Everyone there is caring and professional. If you don't mind the feeling of donating blood go do it!
Not quite sure why all the bad reviews. I've been an active and regularly scheduled donor for a year now and they've been great. Facility is a little chilly, but all the techs are really friendly (with exception of one or two who dutifully stick to their task - like any business/organization). However, I, like a fellow reviewer, was also left in the waiting area when I was trying to be a new donor, but fairly quick someone came over and asked if I needed anything and got me set up. I do agree with yet anot
Donate plasma here. It can potentially improve lives, and the staff will take exceptional care of you during the whole process.
The staff at BioLife is so friendly and nice, they even greet me by name when I come in! It's a great way to make extra money. Today I had Jeorganne hook me up, she is awesome!
Very professional. They keep the facility very clean. I have made nearly $1000 in 2 months. Their app is very user friendly. It may not be for everyone. But if you are healthy and looking for a sweet little side gig plus some nice relaxation time. Go give it a try.
We came here so my fiance could donate plasma, I happened to be with her because we drove together. The staff here are very cold and unfriendly. I felt like I was unwelcome the entire time just because I wasn't giving plasma. Very negative atmosphere. I was sitting in the waiting area while my fiance was doing the questionnaire, and I thought it would be smart to bring her purse and unnecessary belongings out to the car and I tried to approach her just to ask her what items she wants, and I get stopped befo
Hi all, I been donating here a short amount of time and most of the process goes well. My only complaints is as follows: I've noticed a larger lady employee that talks very loud and constantly is talking, very opinionated, and wasting time every time I donate. I've also noticed a hispanic younger kid whom works there who is very cocky and condescending towards everyone. Rather then these two complaints I do recommend to donate and help save lives!??
I came in for a physical and a donation. The process was smooth and the people were very kind and informative. It took about 3 hours to fully get through the process and I would highly recommend BioLife, will definitely be returning
Brought my girlfriend in who was extremely nervous about the process, and simply put, it seems the staff was devoted to making it a negative experience. The lady with the colorful hair appears to look down upon everyone who walks in the door and genuinely seems to me miserable with her job. Not even a first time donor is free from her negative attitude. My last donation also featured the phlebotomist spilling blood all over my pants. Donating at this BioLife is no longer an easy going experience.
My appt was for 4:45. It's 5:30 and my machine isn't even set up. No one has spoken to me. I normally take about 40 min to donate. Gues this is a two hour appt today. They need to limit their appt times so they are manageable for their staff. Management seems to be lacking.
As a frequent donator at Missoula's BioLife, I've never had a bad experience. The staffs extremely welcoming and friendly. I always enjoy my little chats with Braedee while everything's getting set up.
Use to go here a a single parent to get my grocery money. Was always concerned about the workers never changing thier gloves since they stuck someone with a needle and then come over to you and do the same. Because of this I was exposed to hep c and the county health has a numerous calls on it also. Personally sounds like a negligent company and a major lawsuit
Because of a machine malfunction on Wednesday the 22nd a tube had broke and my blood was spilled everywhere and not returned like normal. I was told this does not happen. Do they inspect these machines at all? Am I at risk or anyone else that goes there? Also I am now deferred for 2 months because of there machine malfunction. I depended on that money to help pay bills. And I have been doing this for 3 years and I am sure people could have used that plasma, but because of their negligence plasma recipients
Awesome experience always here! Casey is always an awesome poker and juliette is super sweet! Staff is always so friendly when I come in. The wait times can be long around 5 but I always get helped right away. Love coming here.
First appointment takes about 2 to 2 and a half hours as the get you signed up and make sure you are eligible to donate. After that though it only takes about 45 minutes to an hour to just donate in the subsequent appointments. Staff is very friendly and professional as they walk you through everything you need to do. If you aren't bothered by needles I would recommend you try it. Easy way to make some extra money while also helping those in need.
Rachel is AMAZING! She has always made me feel beyond welcome and comfortable and always does the best job!
Everyone is super friendly and professional. Made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. Will be returning! The only negative was that the building was pretty cold. So just dress accordingly!
Staff here is super friendly. Sometimes a bit understaffed, wait times can be long on certain days, but for the most part a great experience. They are thorough, as they should be with such a sensitive matter, but entirely worth it to help save lives and also get paid for it.
I was pretty nervous after reading all the bad reviews, but everything was great. Everyone I talked to was super friendly, and they guided me through everything, as first time donor, very well. They answered every nit picky question I had, and there weren't many, considering how well everything was explained and how often they checked in with me. Great experience, especially considering I was going in there expecting the worst. P.S. They ARE picky about paperwork, so make sure you have the right stuff going
I had a bad experience and the immediately reached out and corrected it. They truly care if you are well for your appointment and don't miss anything in the exam. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Very experienced, it's never painful. All around 10/10
When I first started to donate I was pretty skeptical about it. However, they made sure I was comfortable. Everything was actually fine up until three weeks ago when a coldsore had popped up. I had to do an arm check for bruising when she noticed the coldsore, and the nurse was so unprofessional. She had made me feel so gross and disgusting about myself, I actually had walked out after that point. Well more like sped walked and was crying my eyes out. I made a complaint, such it's went they're a three. it's
Everyone at the biolife I go to is always very friendly and attentive at what is going on. My best friends daughter has an autoimmune disease and I'm thankful I can help out in some way for someone in need
Helps save lives and get paid while doing it.
My daughter went in for the first time yesterday to donate. The nurse that helped her was very rude and demeaning. She left crying and was unable to donate. There is no reason to treat people this way. Don't donate here untill they fix there staffing issues.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
