I tried to show up twice and this location was closed both times during the hours they were supposed to be open. After reading reviews about this location as well as the Stockton location, I'm grateful they weren't open. I go to CSL regularly. Word of advice: stick with CSL. They're friendly, lines are sometimes long but they get through it quickly, staff is always friendly and understanding. You can ask all the questions you want over and over again and they'll explain it great detail and won't give you gr

Worst experience ever, in the matter of 2 (technically 3, but they made me not donate the first day) appointments. I absolutely hated it when the doctors acted like they knew how I'd react to having blood taken out of my body, like they ?know me.? I've donated several times to the Red Cross before this. Never have I had issues, misinformation, and miscommunication, especially the rude kind, from staff before: in the span of 3 different days. (Especially hated it when they started wording the problem like, ?

Modesto biolife took their time answer and explaining all questions and procedure with you during the whole process. They were busy but they never made u feel rushed. They stood by ur side as a first time member and literally walked u thru everything. Not once did I feel anxious ,except for the needle,. Always felt safe and always looked over. 100 percent recommended. And for those who needs extra cash. Save a life and save u wallet. Best of both worlds.

I usually donate at the Washington Square center in Oregon, but was on business and donated at the Modesto Center on 6/3/25. They were pretty busy, but quite efficient. It did take them about 20 minutes to get to me once I was in a bed, but after I finished I got unhooked very quickly.

While the facility is super cleans, lines are great and staff is super friendly. I am hesitant to go back. I have tried it 4x and only once did someone have good poke and they are only supposed to adjust a couple time and have adjusted over and over so much my arm last visit was in pain most of the night I donated in AZ for two years and never been so nervous to donate again

The staff here is fantastic, Dior is a super sweetheart and Jess and Julie and I forgot the asian girls name but they are the best, no pain it's always a pleasure to talk to them. They are always so kind! They make the process so easy give these women a raise!!! Anytime I try to refer, I always tell them about them. They should be recognized by their upper management, Ive donated 25 times since June.

I donated at CSL for 4 1/2 years an not once have I had any issues or complications with donating, but yet my first donation here and not only did they screw up my arm, but they had to stick me several times. Not at all professional. And on a sidenote what business is closed on a Monday???

Always prompt! Everyon? is so friendly and welcoming. Love the music choice. I'd work there. Good team work! Very clean.

Predatory, inflexible, rude. Hours of wait for physical. You are a PRODUCT. if I didn't have children to feed, I wouldn't be doing this. If something goes wrong- like, say, your protein in low- you can't donate for a couple of weeks, until they re-draws your blood and the results come back (that can take over a week). So don't rely on this as a source of income. If your test results are outside normal range, they do not tell you how it could have happened nor do they tell you what you need to do to fix it,

Donating for a good cause and the people working there are friendly and accommodating. I've been donating for a few months now, I like the facility and the people working here are awesome!! I was immensely nervous my first visit because prior to bio life I have never donated blood or plasma; however, that nervous feeling did not last long thanks to Melissa. She explained how it all works in great detail. Today I was helped by Angelica whom is great at answering any question someone might have. Truly if I ha

Stockton office is busier but way better they have a actual compassion to donor's who are giving their life source. Unlike Modesto who will not. If you forget to eat for a physical in Stockton they give you a protein drink. Everyone gets at least a water and an electrolyte packet. They even have jerky for those who are borderline. They really support your health. In Modesto they just turn you away and say try again next time.

Staff here are always kind and helpful. Doir is one of my favorites! She is always in a good mood and super nice . She always answers my questions and always has a smile on her face no matter how busy it gets. Over all the staff in general is top tier! I will always recommend this place they are helping lives one day at a time!

I've been coming here for a few months and it continues to be great experience. Angelica has great personality that just makes you comfortable as she's stabbing you with a needle. The whole team has a professional and friendly demeanor so shout out to them as well.

????? I have always had excellent experiences with Jess. Overall the team is very good and talented. Jess has always been incredibly kind, patient, and professional every time I go in. I personally request her when she is working to be my Phlebotomist. Her technique is flawless ? I barely feel the needle, and the process is quick and efficient. It is clear that she genuinely cares about my comfort and takes her time to answer my questions. I highly recommend Jess to anyone who wants a painless and pleasan

This place is a joke. Bathrooms work maybe half the time and once you check in you can't leave. So if you have to go to the bathroom and the bathrooms don't work you have to restart your entire appointment if you have to leave to go to the bathroom. Internet isn't linked to their computers so if you take time off of work to come in you might not be able to get your plasma drawn cuz you may have to do a physical instead which takes between 2 to 3 hours.

Busy today. I wish they would enforce the rule against no phone conversations while donating. Lady next to me spoke loudly the entire time ????

All staff here are so friendly and make you feel welcome. Personally, the needle going is a part of the process that I always dread but staff like Angelica make it quick and painless. It's for the reasons listed above that I usually donate twice a week. At this center, you're in good, caring hands.

Biolife is 10 times better than octapharma and grifols! I have been donating at this center for a year and 97% of the staff are friendly, have excellent customer service skills, and make you feel comfortable while donating plasma ?? The lead man supervisor is really nice he will make you feel at home (: and to the boss reading this review I want some Biolife plasma business cards to pass out to new people I meet and I am For real! ?? Sincerely, Deseante Childs.

The ladies and the front desk they The ladies in the front desk they give you a bad attitude The way they talk to you and one of the nurses This place lucky I don't take them to court For Discrimination That is the guest in-law they're not supposed to do that that's I am not gonna bother with this

The staff are all very nice and friendly. The facility is extremely clean. The whole process was easy. The first appointment is the longest because you need the physical and to meet with the nurse, but after that my appointments have been less than an hour. Take advantage of the new donor bonus because once that 4 week period is over, the payments drop by 50%. Also, I noticed when I drink a boat load of water the day before and morning of my appointment, the appointments are even faster.

I recently visited the donation center for the first time, and I must say, it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. I was nervous cause I've never donated before. However, Kimberley, one of the staff members, made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. She patiently answered all my questions and walked me through each step, putting my mind at ease. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, which made a significant difference. I left feeling satisfied and grateful for their professionali

I had a great experience with Angelica today! She was super professional and really nice, making everything easy and pleasant. Angelica's friendly attitude and helpfulness made me feel totally at ease.

Staff here is awesome! Elena usually helps me out and despite how busy they may be from time to time, she is always friendly, helpful and has a smile on her face. I look forward to coming back soon!

I'm definitely glad I signed up here, it's been a good experience. Jess J is absolutely awesome. I will be asking for her every time moving forward. She made it quick and easy- you can tell she knows what she's doing- and she is so kind and comforting as well. I am referring friends and will be coming myself as long as I'm able!

Angelica, made me feel very welcomed during my visit! I had no discomfort at all she gave me clear warning before the needle poke which I appreciated very much! Could barely feel the poke, which is awesome I feel very safe with her. She was very nice never any pain or adjustments thank you Angelica!

I was a bit nervous to try this out, but I am so glad I did! The staff was so nice and friendly. Shout out to Dulce who walked me through the start of the process and was SO VERY informative and friendly. As well as Hugo who was the tech who set me up on the machine. Employees can really make an experience enjoyable, even if its donating blood and especially people like these two! I will definitely be requesting them when I come back. Overall process was easy and simple and the facility is very professiona

Although staff is very kind and very helpful I have had 10 hematomas and dark bruising causing me not to be able to donate for long periods of time. I have donated 25 times including today and again got a hematoma today. I really do want to help but am feeling reluctant now because of the pain that keeps happening, I have gotten them so much they did not bother giving me the hematoma care sheet today. I really hope I am the only one and if not I hope they can change something about preventing this as much a

The Phlebotomists and management are always kind and respectful with a positive team oriented attitude. I wanted to recognize a particular member of staff for always doing a great job when she works with me. I am squeamish when it comes to needles and Wendy is very gentle that led to no pain at all during my visit; she is always accommodating and very well versed in her role.

Everyone here is incredibly nice and incredibly knowledgeable. Not only does it take me less than an hour most of the time (not counting the first time I donated) but it's a very easy $130 every week with the weekly promotion. As long as you take care of your body and avoid the suggested foods the whole process is quick and easy, especially for someone afraid of needles like me. An easy in and out, and lots of available times, hard to believe everyone isn't doing this already!

My appointment was 11:55 am and they had a long line, I understand that the guys was so busy but some people and I were sitting together. I saw how attended each other. I was waiting ONE HOUR!! I saw how ignored me. I want to say that ?Stephanie? was an incompetent employee because she just walked around just wasted her time and hindering the work of others. It's sadly that just for one person and their bad job, the experience was so bad!! The another lady corean lady that they are team workers, sincerely,

I give this place a 5 overall. I never see anybody in a bad mood. Even wen it's packed it goes fast. Maybe like twice since the beginning of this year Ive stayed in there longer than an hour. Both times waiting to get unhooked. U just gotta speak up sometimes. Especially if there are multiple stations beeping. Everybody is professional and asks if any pain pinching or tingling. They check my elbows at my prescreening. Alicia. Stephanie. I think her name melody she's light skin red hair. The dudes are awesom

I am an 8 gallon whole blood donor and also several platelets donations. However, because I fainted one time in my life they told me I was not eligible. Would have been good information before I drove an hour and a half to get there and spent 2 hours in their screening process. Refused to pay the $100 even though it was there choice not to let me donate. Should have at least been given the opportunity.

Today, I was flagged prior to donating due to having the sleeve bariatric surgery per the person who brought me in the back who spoke down to me when I told her I didnt know the exact date but my doctor had said I was cleared to donate and that I have memory issues due to MS which Ive had my entire life but she said I didnt disclose, probably because I forgot so I told her it doesnt effect my health and that I'm a real estate broker so she called in a nurse who said I couldnt donate because MS is an auto im

I want to thank Jess J at BioLife in Modesto!!! She was amazing I was nervous, she made me laugh checked in on me. Best part she is so smooth with the needle I didn't feel a thing. Thank you Jess for the great experience so we can save lives while making money at the same time.

My first donation went fine, second time I tried, they told me my iron was 1 point too low, I came back 4 days later and was also taking iron supplements and following all their recommendations; same thing, iron 1 point too low. Came back 4 days later, everything was fine. I was following all their recommendations on hydration, eating, iron, etc. everything was going fine, but the nurse said I needed to switch arms or be done for the day, and get only half of the compensation, I decided to switch arms. No b

Elena is eh-mazzzing! Top tier phleb, and has always been a super smooth experience with her. All the techs here have been great from my experience. If it is your first time donating expect to be here for 3 hours, as the process is a little lengthy, but after the fact your typical donation time is 45 mins- 1 hour to completion. Thank you BioLife, and all your employees at the Modesto location for making donating plasma pleasant !

I went to donate plasma at BioLife today and had a great experience. Wanted to make a special shoutout to Dulce. Dulce as well as the other staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole process was really quick and easy. I was in and out in about an hour, and I even got paid for my time! I've donated a few times before at other places, but BioLife was by far the best experience I've had. The center was clean and comfortable, and the staff was really knowledgeable and professional. They made sure I wa

It's nice to see that vampires have something to do during the day that also brings down the number of people turned into vampires as well. They do an excellent job of keeping these tormented souls off the street and out of our alleys where they in would normally prey on cats and small dogs and an occasional possum or a cute mama raccoon and her babies. ?? I've seen it. There seems to be a fair amount of non verbal communication going on over protocol, right in front of your face. Your drop of blood wil

After my 3rd donation I've noticed they are training a lot of people. Once I was able to donate this girl couldn't find my vein for the longest. Once she found it she injected me wrong during my donation I started leaking blood. I informed someone and said oh that normal walked away had to ask someone else. She helped me and she was unsupervised I've noticed she was new too. She injected me on my other hand. I got hematoma on that hand too. Got both arms with hematoma really bad bruises. Lost lots of blood

Kimberly is great. I always recommend her when I go in cause she knows how to do the poke just right. Jessica ( sadness ) is always my recommendation because she is very light handed and cares about her doners.

Staff all seems to be in a great mood all the time. Comforting for a place that can get a little (physically) uncomfortable at times. Anecia is one of the more exceptional people here and never seems to let a bad day show.

Staff is professional and the whole process is easy. First appointment is long, but the following appointments are easy and booking through the app is awesome. Honestly the first time I was there I was thinking about how many staff there are, but they all work together and they are all kind, professional and sanitary.

This place is great. I was helped by an associate there named Dulce. We connected really quickly because we share the same birthday, October 30th. They are very safe about the whole process. I used to donate platelets at my old donation center but since I moved I didn't have anywhere to go donate. Until I found BioLife. They were offering $800 for new donors. 8 donations equaled $800. I was already donating before so I was used to this sort of thing and to get paid for it is even better. I miss my old donat

I love donating plasma at this location! The staff is always friendly. The place is always super clean and it's always easy to get an appointment! Staff is great. I especially enjoy having Stephanie setting up my line because she's always very friendly and it's always very painless!

Their admin side is a mess. Asked me to get two letters from my doctors. I did (which required I go in-office with different doctors two separate times) and was given the all clear to donate. I asked explicitly if anything could stop me from donating before making my last appointment; it wasn't a miscommunication. Changed my plans to finally go in and was turned away saying one letter was rejected. It was rejected because I reported shortness of breath months ago after just getting over the flu. I haven't

Shout out to Stephanie, she was super gentle, i had a painless appointment, looking forward to my next appointment

I've visited this donor center on three different occasions with appointments, each time I was turned away with some new "rule" and or "guideline" as to why they can't accept me. Today I arrived 15 minutes early because my appointment was at 2:30pm. I had previously been turned away a week prior due to not haven eaten a meal in the alloted time frame that had not been named on the bio life website. I arrived early, last eaten a meal 2hrs prior and i was hydrated as I had purchased some water near by. Today

Idk how you guys allow people with so many health problems and diseases donate instead of helping you guys are putting people in danger without being properly aware

Great staff, but rates are constantly reduced. Currently down to $100/week after previously being at $165. Expect it to be even less soon. Edit 6/25/24. Rates went up after my bonuses expired, matching my rate when I had the bonuses. Be wary of any offers you receive, they switched to "personalized" rates to screw you over.

Everyone in there is so friendly. While getting me ready for the process the lab technicians or nurses always have a conversation with me and ask how i am doing if i have any plans or just how my day is going. They also come by frequently throughout the donation to see how i am feeling or if there is any pain.

Everyone acts real professional until it's 4:20 and everyone wants to leave. So unprofessional- purposely waited to acknowledge me until their ?10 minute grace period? passed 1 minute. Literally looking at me like I'm stupid and I can get out over one minute when I was in 1 minute before. It honestly makes me not want to donate as the person in the front is obviously going to be someone they use often and I don't deal with snotty desk workers. First they claimed I was too dehydrated to donate after keeping

I am giving two starts for the following reasons: 1. On my second Donation the center had me waiting 2 hours due to the RN's having a compliance meeting. 2. I asked to speak to a manager and He/She told me that this is voluntary which translates to "you don't have to come". This manger lacked managerial skills and communication skills. 3. The was a lack of consideration. If there is a meeting or if staff is running behind we as donors should have the right to decide if we want to stay or not. With all th

As a first time donor of any blood or plasma. They denied me for asking questions about how long/the general fear of needle. Wasn't nervous just was inquiring information. Manager William permanently banned me. P.s. my contact info is not hard to find for a business owner, if you'd like more info or to speak directly feel free to reach out

I was there for 2 hours. Not once did I see a staff member change their gloves. Go from patient to patient. Cleaning old tube's putting new tube's, same gloves. Taking the plasma container and the blood tubes, than going tk another patient or machine. Not one of them knew what cross contamination was. If so they do realize how important it is.

I have been donating for a couple of months now. Dulce, Selena, and malisa have made it the most pleasant experience. I don't like needles but they are very gentle, precise, kind and helpful. Going above and beyond to ensure process is as quick and painless as possible so Thank you

I went in the first time and they deferred me because I didn't eat and drink enough, which is fine I totally understand that. So I come in 4 days later and ate 2 meals and half my body weight in oz in water like they instructed me to do. I get sent to the nurse who immediately sits down in her chair and starts to degrade me. She said that because of my arms, I'm not able to donate. I ask her what's wrong with my arms. Now for the record I do not have a single scratch or bruise or sore on my arms, no marks o

The first visit can take a long time but after the first visit it goes pretty quick. Dulce and Stephanie are nice up front. Angelica, Wendy, Jess, and Anecia (The Realest) all help you get through the process promptly. Watch out for Maria though. Lol jk. Have enjoyed donating here. Only downside is the mens restroom hand dryer sensor.

I have been to Biolife quite a few times, so I decided to give this location in Modesto a shot. I made the biggest mistake of my plasma donating career. Place is SMALL for patients, like 20 seats total. Feels run down compared to Stockton. The intake phleb was nice and it was easy getting in. Once in, though, the nightmare began. I think I got the most inexperienced phleb in town, jabbed twice in my easy to use vein on my left arm (to which I have donated blood and plasma for two decades now, and no tec

I completed my first donation ($40) and when I went for my second ($90) they were closed early even though I had a set appointment at that time. Biolife is always preaching that they don't pay for your plasma they pay for ?your time?. I drove from 40 minutes away so my time was wasted when as soon as I got there I had to turn back around and drive home. I could not reschedule and compete my second donation that same week because it was already Saturday. I called multiple times and left voicemails and messag

One of the ladies who take the vitals is very disrespectful! It's as she doesn't like her job. Her name is Dior. She's always angry and upset it seems.1 of the nurses or whatever you want to call them is always very disrespectful and rude. Dior is her name. She should be reprimanded or retrained.

Place is clean and staff is prompt, professional, and friendly. Every phlebotomist here is great, but some of my favorites are Angelica, Jocelyn, Hugo, Wendy, and of course Jess. Always super helpful and quick. Best Biolife around.

So I was there for almost 2 hours waiting for a physical but during my intake vital I noticed this individual come from the back and I asked quietly "is that a man?" Intake girl heard me and replied "no" then I immediately said "oh I'm sorry I shouldn't have said outloud sometimes things I think fly out my mouth." She replied "It's ok" then immediately went and told on me to person (assist manager) for some reason idk but I GOT BANNED !! For life! For being discriminatory to staff for what I said that no

Thomas, Anecia, Wendy, and Melina have all given me great service and making sure everything is okay. They always make me feel comfortable and welcomed.

First time I went they bruised me and had to stop. Second time I went I was there for over 1.5hrs with everyone standing around staring at me as I laid in the chair waiting They didn't even start the process. I left! Definitely new opening blues. Probably best to wait a couple of months and until then go to Stockton. Stockton s team is REALLY good.
