Consistently when I come here I have to wait 40+ minutes after my appointment before I donate. Sometimes an hour. What's the point of making people have appointments if we're going to wait in line for an hour like a walk in center? I like the one in Duluth exceedingly better because they have a place to sit while you wait but you rarely use it because they are *on time*. Let's go ahead and buy the machines for all those empty beds on the left half of the center. Plasma is worth $2000 a bottle and I'm only
So my appointment was at 12:55. It is 2:45?and I still have not been seated. This location requires appointment times but it means absolutely nothing. Staff is as relaxed as can be. I have to get rewrapped every time I leave. WHATS THE POINT OF APPOINTMENT TIMES???
The staff is great. But yall gotta have a separate spot for new donors. Either than or honor APPOINTMENT TIMES. We can't donate after being late for 9-15mins. But make us wait two hours because new donors are ahead of us. If you can't take that many people due to staff. I get it I really really do. Then don't. Or open a section for returning donors and one for just new!! It's just a little frustrating to say the least
In the MOST STRESSED tone possible: Dont even bother trying to come here because you're definitely going to be here for about 2 to 4 hours (and MORE that half that time is going to be waiting), and most likely not even donate because they reject you for the smallest things. At that point, just get a part time job. If you really need/want to donate just go to a different location; this one is just SO unorganized.
My appointment was at 12 am. I didn't get into a chair until 1:30 pm. Just before I could get sat down and hooked up to the machine, a donor had some complications, and all the staff were on edge. The situation wasn't big enough for the paramedics, who came, to gurney the donor out. I assume, due to this stressful occurrence, one of the phlebotomist was a bit too nervous. Everything was fine until for my donation until the line that the I.V. and the line that feeds the machine needed to be connected. Faul
I had a very frustrating experience at the BioLife Plasma Services center in Morrow, GA. After completing the full screening and physical, I was told I was cleared to donate. However, right before the donation, I was suddenly turned away due to ink on my arm ? something that should?ve been addressed much earlier in the process. What made this worse was the staff?s attitude. Assistant Manager Dante was unprofessional and dismissive when I asked questions about why I was being turned away after being told I
So, I'm removing 1 star because the wait times are insanely long, but it's because they are so short staffed. I'd give the staff 5 stars tho bc when I was almost done with my donation, I got super lightheaded and nauseous since it had been so long since my last big meal (about 3.5 hrs I was waiting!). The techs and nurse (Mr. Richard I think) were so amazing though, they got me ice packs, Gatorade, and snacks, and other staff also kept checking in on me. I was so embarrassed, especially bc I'm sure before t
This is no joke, the WORST BioLife I've ever been to. As someone who bounces around a lot because of work I've been to several different plasma services in Maryland and Georgia and this is the most frustrating experience I've had. I have been waiting almost an hour and still haven't gotten sticked yet? there's a line of people waiting to get seated which I have never seen, and it seems the nurses don't know how to multitask and moved slow like they didn't care. What's the point in making an appointment if i
All of the staff members are very friendly, helpful and professional. The atmosphere is pleasant and the facilities are clean. The nurses make sure that the donors are well taken care of and comfortable. Kudos to BioLife for providing outstanding services! ??
I used to donate here but the long wait lines and the unprofessional staff leaving me strapped to the machine with a needle in my arm long after the donation was finished and my machine was lighting up and buzzing, made everything inside of me want to sue. I wanted to scream GET ME OFF THIS MACHINE!! I struggled to remain calm trembling with chills my hands felt all clammy and the technician strolled the tray over and wiped down a chair that another technician had already wiped off. I was so disgusted beyon
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at BioLife, mainly due to the unprofessional and condescending approach of the front desk staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt more like a problem than a valued donor. I may have been mistaken about needing to use the restroom upon arrival, but the way I was spoken to was completely unnecessary. I am not a child, and I don't appreciate being treated like one. A simple explanation would have sufficed instead of the rude and dismissive tone I received. Cust
I couldn't give on my second visit, for a reason that didn't make sense. The person couldn't find my vein the first time and had to switch arms, but everything worked out and I gave. I come back and now it's a problem behind my control. The center manager to fix it was at a ?conference? and another on ?bereavement ?. Unorganized. Now my bonus is forfeited. Have a manager with access to make changes to the system there everyday. This is unacceptable.
Octapharma so much better. Associates have integrity and are not rude. They take less plasma and pay more. Im sitting in the chair now as I write this happy I was deferred from bio for being loud. Octa have loud employees and patients and no one is complaining or getting deferred in real time. First cycle 180 plasma. At bio my last first cycle was 15. Last time I wrote a bad truthful review on Bio, but it feels better writing a positive truthful review about Octa on Biolife reviews. Cheers??
My first experience donating plasma at Biolife was unfortunately quite disappointing, primarily due to the excessive amount of time the entire process consumed. Despite being a new donor and receiving priority in the lines, I was at the facility for a staggering five hours from start to finish. This extended duration made the experience feel unnecessarily burdensome and significantly impacted my willingness to consider future donations. Learning that regular donors typically spend two to three hours for a
Just trying to get an understanding, y?all have people that take the bus , sitting out here waiting to get paid sometimes and it's sick . Today the excuse was the system? I'm guessing it was the system last week too ? Now it's someone sitting outside right now waiting , so they could go home . This is very much sickening, maybe you guys should tell people hey we have a delay today and then that can give them the option to leave or not because I wouldn't have stayed and I could have just came another day .
I went in to see the person that told me to come in and see the reception that was working the front desk was very rude and didn't care at all. When Tina tell me to come in on Sunday and see her and I was and I understand she cannot get out from her spot but this person is working the front desk is very rude and does not care about anything all she cares about is getting off at 3:00 and that's it never want to come back due to her attitude
shut the place down bruh lol y'all got way.. to many bad reviews just move to Atlanta and was planning on going here never ever seen this many bad review from a plasma place usually the ones back hone is clean and extremely professional with good reviews they not perfect but man y'all just need to wrap it up and shut down or rehire new staff or something have a meeting listen to the people there that had bad experiences and take some notes to talk about them in a meeting if I was a supervisor there I be dam
It's too easy to donate only thing is sometimes you might be time consuming. The staff is very generous friendly and welcome. Place is clean.
This place is awful. You have to wait almost two hours to even be seated to be drawn. And the last two times I went I was stuck by amateurs that can't find a vein to save their life and gave me internal bleeding due to them not being properly trained and when I brought it to the attention to the head "clown" nurse she brushed me aside like all their techs are properly trained. As if i dnt know, which i do because i been a combat medic and paramedic for 17 years. Lol If that was the case then how come I hav
This was a LONG and tiresome donation. It taken over 4 hours to donate. I person doing all of the sticking and releasing of donors. Manager wasn't able to assist with sticking (first time ever), all mangers should be familiar with the entire process. Will never be back at this location. UGHH!
Had an appointment at 10. Didn't get into a chair until almost 12. The lady who stuck me with the iv didn't know what she was doing. Ended up popping my vein and blood flowing all over out of the iv. Another girl came over and swapped arms. They sat a piece of paper by my feet on the bed and didn't say anything. I picked it up once I completed my donation and it was instructions on how to care for a popped vein. It has been a week and my arm is still hurting. I will never go back to this location. I should
I came here today went to my appointment at 2:00Pm. i was in the vitals line for 1 hour almost 2 and the donation line for 2 hours. When I finally got to the chair to donate, they did not come set it up for another 20 minutes so I was just sitting laying back in the donation chair. Everytime, no matter what day or what time it is a long wait every single visit feels like a new donor appointment with how long it takes. Every time I come they only have 1-3 people doing vitals. During that time they are doing
They send you away if you don't have an appointment and then when you actually make your appointment, it takes forever. I was a new donor and I waited over an hour to be seen after my scheduled appointment.
They just lie and turn people away because they're lazy. I went there to do good and be paid, the lady lied said my iron was high, went to another facility iron is perfect.
My appointment was at 12:30 I got there at 11:59 and I didn't get back home until 3:45 and I didn't even get to give plasma they told me they couldn't find two veins they have to have two veins for whatever reason but they could only find one so I waited all that time for no reason at all
This place is the worst. The staff doesn't care and the line is always super long. The employees just walk around without a care in the world. A one hour process easily turns into 2.5 hour process. They need to shut down and hire a completely new team.
The manager is so rude and makes you feel so uncomfortable and she purposely has her badge turned the wrong way so I can't see what her name is?. Im afraid to ask cause I feel as if she won't let me donate anymore! I will be sure to ask once my donation is complete. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION I WISH I DIDNT COME TODAY BUT I CAN?T BACK OUT BECAUSE I WASITED GAS COMING HERE AND NOW I NEED GAS IN ORDER TO GET BACK HOME
Not worth donating at this center as a new donor because they now require a sample of your blood to be sent off to a lap and you have to wait 7-10 business days for the results before u can donate..lol..don't waste ya gas because they don't compensate for the time of yours they waste.
I want to specifically call out and recognize Nurse Kasey Green for her professionalism and kindness at the Morrow, GA biolife location. She's very transparent and about the business of the company. I felt very catered to. She deserves a raise and and 55th floor window office. ??
I am surprised by these reviews. These ladies always treat Mi kindly! They're kool and sociable. I've had reactions due to my hypertension and dehydration but they're attentive and usually seem genuine about my health concerns. I'm terrible with names but I think people are expecting too much. That's not a simple job especially considering how life be lifin?. I'm all the way off Memorial now but i don't wanna change facilities. I like to work with them n not against them and they seem mutual on that!! Nurse
The reason I gave that rating is because of Cindy, shamika, and chloe among many others who names i don't know off the top of my head are absolutely amazing at there job. They give Chick-fil-A customer service every day and are very skilled at getting us in and out in a timely manner. In my head I literally nicknamed Chloe mosquito bite because 99% of the time I don't fill it going in and lack filling it the entire time. Not saying the other very skilled woman are not exceptionally skilled as well especiall
If you have 5-8 hours to spend waiting in line to get vitals and then stand in the ridiculously long line to donate, then by all means go ahead. The wait time is so unbearably long. What's the point in having appointment times if you still have to wait 2 to 3 hours in line. Some of the staff are very nice an professional others are not. These people need help!!! Please hire more people. This is awful. Seriously if you dont have an entire day to waste DO NOT COME HERE.
Can yall volunteer DNR me thanks very sorry management buts its ran by black management!!! But thanks though money wasn't anything kids still coming to earth incompetent I thought donating my plasma would help it didn't do nothing ? but please DNR thanks I hope the location boost its are clientele and stop emailing me thanks !!!
Please Be Careful of the lack of communication and customer service. While I have no desire to trash anyone?s place of employment, some things need to be addressed and changed. My journey of visiting this center for over 18 months with 90% of my donations happening almost each month. In March of 2022 the technicians wasn't successful in finding my blood veins and this caused me to unable to donate for 2 weeks. So, back in September of 2022 I was not feeling well and didn't donate at all that month and when
Great place to donate plasma specially if it's your first time they make the process super smooth and as quick as possible every time the staff treat you with such welcoming feeling best experience so far specially with Jazmin, Dior,Mrs.Tish,Tina and Nina great service all the time ????
Mannn shout outz to Mrs Teana I always ask 4 her she is perfect her customer service is A1 very pleasant she the. Best thank u 4 ur service give her a raised!! N also shout outz 2 the supervisor with dreads liteskin , can't remember her name thank u ladies 4 ur amazing customer service ty ??
The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable of service given. I have been donating for almost 2 years. Helping those in need, given plasma is a blessing.
The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all which made the donation process pleasant. Thank u!
The process at the center was smooth, but I still have an issue with the pay scale constantly going down $5 every week. Especially during the holidays. Makes no sense y?all get thousands of dollars off plasma but we aren't paid nearly enough for our donations. Other centers pay quite a bit more so not sure what the problem is with BioLife?.do better!
Busy sometimes, but the line is always moving quick. I enjoy donating at this center. The staff from the screeners to the phlebotomists are always fast, friendly, and hard working.
Any company that has your personal information and refuses to give it to you, after identifying your identity is not to be trusted. Particularly when it comes to the status of your health. Moreover, any place that makes you schedule your appointment, only for you to sit for hours on end is not efficient or organized either. They will only see you ten minutes earlier. So if you rely on public transportation, try to arrive as close to your scheduled time as possible. Otherwise you'll have to sit outside or wa
This place is the pits....Although the staff is pretty friendly, they are slow as hell. It almost takes 2 hours to be seated. They will actually have a line wrapped around the corner with empty seats available. It doesnt make sense. Unless you have a minimum of 3 hrs + to spend, I'd highly recommend searching out a different location and you might have better luck. This place went from bad to worse since the last time I posted. They actually have a line wrapped around the wall and staff members are talking,
Thank you Stacia, Sharon, Jasmine, and the young lady who orientated my process at the front. (10, 000 pardons, I forget your name) I was very comfortable, the place was very clean. Most of all, the content of their character was very impressive. I recommend it.
Update. I went into the office today and tried to donate after a full year and some change and was not able to donate. Why? Because they say I needed to do a speed protein test because the last time I was there my protein levels was down mind you That would be over a year ago. Despite the fact that when I called I was told all I need to do was get another physical then I'll be able to donate. And despite the fact that even on the app it clearly says I needed to get a physical in order to donate. Nothing eve
The staff is always friendly! I agree with others that there is always a line, and if you need or want to sit your going to sit on the ground. But my biggest issue as a donor location this seems unhygienic. The Bathrooms. There are two unisex. I have rarely gone in that I did not see pee on the seat or floor. As a woman I can't even squat over that nastiness not that I'd want to. I asked and was told they don't have a janitor.
Need fire a couple people and hire some new workers that wants to work or come in to work like everytime it's only 2 or 3 people doing the hook up to the machine the place always look nasty the floors be dirty bathroom be smelling really bad and nasty all the time they fake security don't be doing anything it's just a messy place employees been having the nasty attitude as well
The staff was professional and friendly. They explained everything in detail for my 1st visit and my next visit. I do recommend new equipment ( computers and finger ID's) for customers. The touch screens had to be touched many times before the sensors read my response or finger ID.
Great job team, great service, all employees are fantastic and Trish did an excellent job!
Be prepared to be here 2-3 hrs Even if you book an appointment. Checking in & waiting takes about an hour and a half or maybe longer & once you sit down the staff takes 10-20 minutes to get you set up before donating they move so slowwww & they barely have beds. After the promotion ends I'll be going back to CSL they are much for faster & efficient.
I just finished donating and usually the money hits my account instantly. Half way home and nothing was added to my account. I tried to call but nobody answered the number the apps A.I. gave me. They're closed tomorrow so I'm left wondering where'd my money go? I know you got my blood.
BioLife usually has great customers service but for some reason the technicians seem kind of rude that day for some reason not all of them but two or three of them
Ghetto and unprofessional! I was told there was no waiting area by the small woman in the front although there was empty seats in the front, and I only had about another 30 minutes until my appointment. I thank god I changed my mind about going through with the donation. Would never trust this staff. After reading more reviews my I feel my decision was correct.
I have been to 4 different centers in 3 different states. By far the worst center. I assume they don't get paid enough because they are the most unprofessional Biolife workers I have ever encountered. Most of the time, they are quite rude and never move with a sense of urgency. They'd rather stand there talking to each other than answer the phone or do the jobs they are being paid for. Shut it down or get people in there that actually cares about their jobs.
my experience was ok but the funds wasn't You have and on my email stating i would get up to 135, last time I got 95 so om wondering why I didn't get 95 this time? the question needs to be an option to fill them out online instead of waiting in line once you get there. The staff is awesome.
Beyond slow! You make an appointment just to not get in a bed after being here 1.5/2 hours as if you have nothing else to do, when there are empty beds available. You get a bed and youre waiting 20 minutes to get stuck its truly ridiculous. Csl is definitely better
The people are great but something has to be done about the wait! It is ridiculous that you have a 12:30 time and it's not till 3:20 you get in a chair. There needs to be a better system for new donors- specific days- assigned section with a dedicated person to that section so the returning local donors don't have to wait so long. I understand You want to treat new donors special but what about the other loyal ones. Then the promotion amounts get dropped every other week. There's no frequency bonus anymore
I had a phenomenal experience at Bio life. It was my first time going in and all of the staff was very polite and had plenty of knowledge. The nurse Anna Marie was the best!! She explained everything from what to expect while giving plasma, to what to do and not to do after I leave. 5 stars across the board
12/5/23 Edit: I waited 3 hours in both lines before being seated in a bed today. Appointment time- 10:30am, seated at 1:25pm. It's getting worse, not better. Prepare for a LONG wait at this location! Usually it's a 1-1.5 hour wait in line for vitals and to be seated in a bed. As I write this review while standing in line on a Wednesday afternoon, an hour has passed since my appointment time and I still haven't had my vitals taken yet. There are four people in front of me and only one person (with three st
Employees are great. Rewards program could be better compared to other plasma places. Safe clean professional environment. CSL has better incentives and shorter donation time. Need to update plasma machines.
This is the only bio life that you will book an appointment as a reoccurring donor just to be told at this location you have to have both arms have good veins! Like what ? I've been donating at plenty of other plasma places to know if you have a good vein in one arm you have a good vein. Why does it even matter if your other arm doesn't have a functioning vein if you have a dominant vein in your dominant arm. Wasted my gas. Wasted my time. And wasn't my promotion for nothing. Girl at the front desk was lite
If you don't have an 9 o'clock appointment expected to be here for at least 3 hours. everyone should start going to csl plasma, couple miles down mt Zion, maybe they'll start caring more about their clients time. The employees are nice but could be very more efficient! One thing they do I can't understand is leaving multiple beds empty, instead of putting someone in the bed immediately. The time wasted on an empty bed could been someone donating.
On Sunday Jan 27,2024 I went to donate at the morrow, GA center. After standing in 2 long lines, (one for screening and one for donation seating), a staff member comes out and states that management says we are not taking anymore donors whom have not been stuck by 330p. This was upsetting obviously so myself and a few other donors asked to speak directly with the manager because it was unfair to us and our time. The manager told us to go ahead and go to donation floor and I thought that was the end of it. W
Very rude and indifferent staff. Pure hostility to donors, treated as livestock instead of human donors earning their center millions while donors get pennies.
If I could do zero stars I would, I went in today to only be told I needed to do a SPE. As I didn't why I had to have my protein checked 3 times in a week was crazy, them only to be called and told because my protein wasn't readable.. then today got stuck again for more blood only to be called and told they shouldn't have done that. Then was told I couldn't and they wouldn't compensate me, for their wrong doing drawing more blood AGAIN... I'm found another center that I will be attending that seems better t
I went to Biolife Plasma to donate plasma for some extra cash. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The technician inserted the needle, and as the machine began withdrawing blood, I noticed a significant leak coming from my arm. I immediately called for assistance, but the technician was busy with other donors and did not arrive until blood was spilling from my vein like a fountain. By the time she ended the blood donation process, my arm was wrapped, and I was told to wait in front of t
Place denied my donation due to my tattoos-lady supervisor, might go back for her name and post it. Place is very rude and I haven't had a tattoo in 20 years and I have donated at other bio locations for two years now and now this one place just makes up their own rules. Plus on the website, it states these rules.
Hi first time plasma donor at BioLife Plasma Services!!!! The employees are freaking awesome! James, Jackie, Monica and Shamese!!!!!!!!! The lady at the very front desk with the short hair was also awesome!!!! Thanks for a great experience especially for it being my first time. Thanks so much, Marilyn McDaniel
I always have a good experience donating plasma at the Morrow location. The lines move fast and the Phlebotomists are very polite and gentle when sticking you. Ms.Teana and Sakeenah always get you in and out in a timely fashion which is greatly appreciated.
If I could rate this facility a 0 I would they never improve McDonough is head and shoulders better!
The process is extremely long and it shouldn't be. It's set up by appointments but I don't see why. People bring lawn/game chairs because of the wait. I kid you not. Normal time is 2-4 hrs.... Staff ok but sence of urgency is not the goal. I only go when I get offered a high donor payment. That way it can be worth the wait.....at least for the most part ?? Very understaffed! I hope they begin to hire asap.
This facility has a great staff but short on Phlebotomist. Also I've noticed many have stopped donating because of the long wait standing too long in lines. There's no waiting area to sit down. Their is room on the other side of the room that is not being used. This could be a nice waiting area. Please consider. I do enjoy donating but the 2 to 3 hours waiting is too long. Everyone knows how important Plasma is to sick patients. Knowing this, I cannot understand why the donation payout continues to decrease
This happened Sunday 7/7/2024 Everyone who knows me in my Adult life, is aware that I wear a headcovering for my spiritual belief. I do not go without my head being covered in public or even at home until it's time for me to lay down for sleep. Even my GA Drivers license has my photo with my head wrap/head covering. This morning I went to BioLife Plasma Services in Morrow, GA to donate plasma. I donate because I am knowledge of the importance of healthy plasma. I attempt to sign in and was stopped. One of
Took the staff five hours to do physical and donation,UNEXCEPTIONAL in a business.
Jasmine and Tishe were very awesome very gentle! Team pink zone !!!!
Literally the worst Plasma place ive ever been to. They dont take walk ins, so they make you make an appointment and if you are more than 9 minutes "late", you cant donate for that day. Yet, every time i've donated its taken a minimum of Two hours before i even get to get stuck. For some reason, they dont have chairs for the waiting donors so everyone just has to stand ( adding extra frustration) while you wait these exorbitant times, and for some reason they only have like 15 machines available. The techs
very long lines not enough employees waited two hours otherwise everything else is great
Horrible. They have all these chairs but only use half of the building. The wait is always extremely long & the females aren't really friendly , If you don't like your job then find another one PERIODT
This is by far the worst plasma center I have ever been to you stand in line for hours for $35. They don't ever give you a referral bonus that they promise you they gonna say that they didn't give it to the nurse which is always a lie. I sent several people on different dates and they said the same thing about all of them. Most of the people that work there are really nice however, you do have a few that always has a nasty attitude. They never answer their phone. If you can, please go to a different center
Again, just as some of these reviews, which are really complaints, are targeting the customer service of this facility, this/ my review will basically be the same. On my last donation at the Morrow facility the young lady completely lied to me by telling me that someone told her to take me "off the machine because I had been in the chair too long". Yeah, I guess so: I had been there from like 11:20 yet when I left it was nearly 3 oclock. Now either they're understaffed or lazy. Anyway, I got deferred and fo
The worst service I have ever received. Make an appointment and you still have to wait hours for a session. Staff has no idea what they are doing. Definitely not worth the time or effort
I hadn't been in about a year. The young lady trying to find my veins was very cold and nonchalant. I even gave her the reason she couldn't find the vein in my left arm as my family has very deep set and small veins. She dismissed what I said and just says I'm ineligible because I need 2 suitable veins and to try again in a few days. I've used to come and donate regularly and the previous staff knew both myself and my mom's veins were a bit difficult to find but they would always try. She didn't even bother
To the point, its very professional and safe. Be mindful it can get dramatically crowded. Wait times could none to 2hrs long depending on how many people are there alone.
Came in about an hour and 15 minutes after they opened and was greeted by a staff member. I informed her I was a new donor and she informed me that I needed to sign up, confirm my email and I would be taken care of. After signing into the website and clicking the tab that says schedule an appointment, the website took me to blank screen. The next staff member then went to look me up create an appointment only to tell me there were none available until Thursday. Why not check before wasting a persons time if
This place is so unorganized and slow. There's no way you should be in there as long as you would a job. I was there 6 hours. That makes no sense. And the sad part about all this I know nothing is going to get done. I complained about the same thing a year ago and nothing has changed. They'll have beds open but rather converse with each other. You got one person breaking down setting up and sticking. When they do call you to an open bed you waiting 20 to 30 minutes before anybody comes and stick you. I know
I thought the purpose of scheduling appointments is to minimize the overcrowding?! It's always crowded and they don't have chairs to sit down even AFTER the screening. I'd never come back after the new donor money. It's definitely not worth it in my opinion.
Great place to donate. I'll keep coming back.
This facility kinda sucks, I've waited for 2 hours almost every donation for the last couple months regardless of what time I go. They should have chairs set up if we're going to be waiting that long.
Spent two hours being screened as a new donor for them to tell me I was rejected because I admitted to sneezing ONCE that morning due to seasonal allergies. If you want to find a better place to donate Google "plasma donation near me." I will not be returning as the only way to be accepted here apparently is to lie. I was literally told by the district manager that it's up to the nurses discretion as to whether or not someone is telling the truth. What type of quality assurance is that? Luz at the front
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
