Started donating a few weeks ago and everything was going fine. Friendly staff and a good environment. Suddenly, all of my appointments are cancelled and the app says I am ineligible to donate and to contact the location for details. Five phone calls and two voice mails to the location have been unanswered. I have no idea what is going on. EDIT: I followed the recommendation below in the Response from the owner section. I still have not been contacted by Biolife regarding my questions. I stick by my

I like the professionalism at BioLife. Clean facility. Everyone is very nice. Would be beneficial to have a BioLife in Northern Michigan. TC has a College. Roscommon/Kirtland College. Cadillac/Baker College. Harrison/ NMC. Although not just for college kids to donate, but would be beneficial for this area. That is the only thing I dislike--- the drive from LC to Mt Pleasant. The app is super easy to use and it's really simple to schedule for an appt

What I appreciate most is the staff, alot of them have been there since I started March 2023. They are nice people who know what they are supposed to do and do it well. THANKS!

After making my initial appointment, arranging my schedule to accommodate the appointment, driving an hour to the appointment, going through the initial screening I was finally told I needed a doctors permission slip to donate, because of my age. I've donated plasma almost 200 times and have never been told that. Would have been nice to be informed of this policy before wasting my time

The phlebotomists they have here are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to their profession. I can guarantee you each and every single on passed their college courses with a D-. Just barely graduating. EVERY. SINGLE.TIME. My husband goes there they either... Blow his veins in one or BOTH arms resulting in not being able to donate for 8 weeks. Cause bruising so bad it looks like someone ran over his arm Or hit a nerve causing him to be in excruciating pain. Which is what happened last night. They did

I love going to help others . The staff are kind and careing there like family . Please give us our bounces back like we use to get. I'm a dedicated client that cares about helping others

The new tape is horrible. It so sticky it rips tons of hair off my arm every time. The old stuff was just fine. My feeling is this change was done to save money but your company is slowly paying less for plasma so let spend the money to get old tape back.

NOT worth it at all, they don't pay the donors well at all anymore & the lines are the longest , never enough people staffed to help ,Absolutely slow & rude service in the front desk from the old ladies , constantly & the more you complain about it they'll kick you out and defer you from not coming back. Or if you leave a bad review they don't do anything about correcting their flaws or what their plans are to fix the problem they just leave a scripted line. Place used to be good but since covid they've let

I couldn't say it enough! Nicest most helpful staff in any establishment I've been. Katie is a Rockstar, I had an issue, she was patient with me and helped me resolve like a true professional. Helped me make a little more money too. Thanks again. Annalise is awesome too, very knowledgeable and answered every question with an experienced explanation. If it makes you nervous to donate both will make sure your comfortable and made me feel less anxious. Thank you very much for making every visit an enjoyable ex

Surprised that as busy as they are the flow is pretty smooth. Sometimes are busier than others & you may have to wait but everything flows smooth. The middle (ppl taking vitals) & back staff are very friendly & nice. Only one bad experience where there were two of us & a girl asked a gentleman who was next & when he looked back at us & I said I was & he told her; she still went to the other chair that came after me & the front desk person always seems like she's in a bad mood weather she is talking to someo

Havent had any problems ?? one of the ladies needs to be a little gentler when they stick the iv in, when starting the plasma donation. Thats really all i can say?? just be gentle dude dont jam it in ??

Staff is great..I'm continuously there 3 hours or more. I almost always have a problem checking in. Not worth the money.

I have on abd of donated plasma at a few okaces over the years and this is one of the best facilities that tries to taje care of you, try to maje syre your happy, the workers maje it feel safe and comfirtable. Best yhing is that they are clean on many oeveks too.

Facility is clean. Sometimes they are efficient, I've had days when it takes an hour and I've had days that took over 2 hours. It really depends on who is working. Updating my review. I have been visiting this location for over a year now. I have had a few issues with an employee that was entering incorrect information on my vitals then saying that I couldn't donate. The employee took my BP and pulse and said my pulse was 103 and that I couldn't donate. When I looked at the results on the screen it showed 9

I have been in the health field for over 13 years and the pace and slow flow of mount pleasant biolife center is disgraceful. They say 30-60 mins but depending on the day and time your usually looking at about a 2 hour or more wait. They either need more workers or teach their current workers how to pick up the pace and about time management.

Drove 60 miles one way and wasted a morning and gas just to be turned away. I do not recommend and I won't be returning.

Make a difference, and make some money. I've been donating here now for a few months. Everyone is very nice and helpful. They do their best to get you in and out as quickly as possible. I recommend scheduling in the morning or early afternoon, as it can get very busy. Look to spend at least an hour from check-in to finish. Bring headphones, and stay hydrated.

DO NOT COME HERE! THEY LIE RIGHT TO UR FACE!!! So once again this place has jipped me out of money. I haven't donated in a year. I called and talked to someone who told me I would be considered a returning new donor and would get 100 for the 1st 2 visits. When I get here they say that's not true and only giving me 60. I have o positive blood which they need and I will never come back here. And I will tell everyone else not to come to this place full of liars. This is March 27th 2025. I love this place way b

The staff has been wonderful to work with, facility is always immaculate and I'm treated very well every time I'm there. I've only had one time where the machine quit working but they were very attentive to make sure my donation was still usable and that my levels were good so I could leave. I've had absolutely no issues at all while donating and would recommend everyone to donate at this location.

The facility is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I have been going to the facility for over 3 years now. My appointments are first thing in the morning and I enjoy it. I look forward to seeing my favorite employees. They make donating fun! A huge shout out to Betty! She is my go to gal and is always upbeat, smiling and happy. I enjoy seeing her. Katie is also amazing! They make the donation experience enjoyable every time!!

I have a complaint about an employee everytime I get my vitals checked by this one employee she said my iron is always low any other time I go it doesn't happen. Kinda odd considering I take supplements for iron and I do eat pretty good.

Always professional and welcoming. Makes donation very easy.

The staff are always friendly and attentive. There's always a smile waiting for you behind those doors. Whether you're a new donor or a returning one, BioLife is the place to go.

I donate at the mt.pleasant michigan site. This place is a very clean and welcoming center. The staff are pleasant and do wat it take to make sure you are comfortable during your donation process. The app that can be used to make appointments on is in need of a lot of work most of the time you cannot confirm your app so there for when you arrive you are not in the system. Though the staff gets you taken care of. And I also believe that you should be able to fill out your health questioner online before you

Wonderful staff! Friendly and inviting! The payment is not set week to week. $115 one week then $110 a week and now $109. ???

I got to meet a young lady named Addie who was professional, courteous and welcoming. Her and her team have always been open to me and my wife @MakaylaBrown coming here because it helps people in need and helps us with our week to week expenses. Thank you for all you do!

It took 3 visits to get approved due to medications and diagnoses (reasonably so) and high blood pressure. It's worth trying! I've had great experiences everytime since I started going in August. Everyone is so friendly and I've yet to have a bad poke. I enjoy going:) Hanna finished me up this time and we had some laughs. Always pleasant when I see her:) Bella and Samantha are always quick to get me outta here after the saline flush!

I've donated at 3 other plasma centers in my life and never have I had so much problems donating BioLife is the worst plasma center I've ever been to and the safe are imperfection honestly is was a unpleasant all the way around I'll never go there again it's even a shitty place to work but that's probably why the workers are unpleasant Just look them up on yelp there are some real reviews most of these reviews are from bots or people who probably only gone a here a few times

Very friendly and helpful courtesy and Professional. You get paid for donating , Twice a week. The employees give you information about where to go what to do from start to finish in their first time with you donating. They offer you a snack and a drink while it's your first time donating. They no longer are giving out stress balls for you to squeeze. I purchased one at Walmart for less than three dollars. You're able to squeeze your clothing and or the corner of your blanket that you bring in . I do sug

I have been coming to bio life in mount pleasant for about 6 months and I have never had a bad experience! The people are so friendly and remember you by name. They are all so sweet and Spencer is excellent. I have very small veins and he always does a perfect with mine! Highly recommend. :)

I have been donating here for around a month. Always a pleasant experience. I go to the Mount pleasant location and I would have to say my favorite Brynn. She normally hits my vein fhe very first try and I have had others struggle hitting my veins

I've been donating Plasma at the Mt.Pleasant MI location for over a year. I always have a great experience while there, but today was exceptional. A young man by the name of Christopher did my "arm stick" on my sometimes stubborn left arm, and he did an amazing job, with absolutely no discomfort at all. I'd also like to mention two other employees while I'm giving a review. At the front where they do the vitals, Sue and Addie, are extremely kind and calming. I sometimes have a little anxiety, and an incre

I have been going for years and never had any issues, last night I had a hematoma, and they were so prompt and kind while dealing with it. Truly amazing people that work there.

Thank you to Betty, who made my donation experience at BioLife painless and quick. She does a wonderful job! Ask for her! And thank you to Shelly, always nice to see you!

I looked them up on yelp and there are 2.2 but I thought I'd give them the benefited of doubt but very unprofessional place will not be returning there again saying

Been donating on and off for almost two years and have had my fair share of bad sticks. It's amazing that they allow you to request who pokes you! I typically request Spencer, he is a pro! Also enjoy Bella as well! Overall everyone is very nice and I would highly recommend this center.

I've been donating for a few months and always have great experiences! Betty took care of me and was so kind, gentle and professional! She had a very painless poke and explained everything to me! She was wonderful! Also the girl I had at the front made me feel good about keeping my iron levels up to donate! Go Betty!

The staff here are extremely friendly and I've noticed that they take extra care to remember the many patients that they have. I have veins that are hard to get blood from. My doctor's nurse always send me to the hospital to have blood drawn and many times they are unsuccessful. Bella took exceptional care to "figure me out," and now she is successful with me 100% of the time. Hannah Mae is another that has an extreme high rate of success with me because she remembers the specifics of my situation. These la

Great visit. Not sure why you don't respond when someone leaves message on your contact us but I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels a negative way from not getting coupons and having to see and hear how much the returning college kids get each time the stop and come back. Is there a reason why you don't give any coupons except to new people? Why did I just go from 110 to 115 to 120 then dropped back down to 110? Crazy we go twice a week for years and don't get anything extra but they go for a few mon

Have been donating at this center off and on for over a decade. Have never had any bad experiences ever. Everyone is very friendly and the center is well run. Special shout-out to Bella who always goes out of her way to make sure my donation goes smooth.

My first visit there was fine for the most part. Everything was explained. Snacks and water provided. Unfortunately towards the end, my 15 minute timer was ignored by multiple staff members. I was the only donor in the waiting area and there was nothing going on so I was confused as to why my timer wasn't acknowledged. I had to spend a half hour trying to talk to three different people, waiting for someone to release me as new donors are not allowed to leave without permission. This was incredibly frustrati

Overall a good experience for a good cause. Caitlyn rocks. She always has a ?Hi? and a smile and makes you feel welcome and at ease. Brandy is super efficient and always has a smile Some of the other team members could take note of their positive natures and follow in their. footsteps. Simply being nice and saying a kind word goes a long way.

The Mount Pleasant location is always so clean and well staffed! I just adore Spencer as we always have a new movie to catch up on! So many of the employees like Meg and Hannah Mae take time to really know you by name and remember details about you. I love my time spent donating!

Although I'm relatively new to the center, I've had my fair share of experiences. I suggest going with Spencer ? he's a total pro! Basically a painless poke. Everyone here is exceptionally friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend this center.

Crappy service got skipped for them to work on 3 other people. Bull having to wait 20 min after your done. What's the point in making g us schedule the apts when you guys can't even staff it. Bunch of workers just standing around and the end of session while people have to 20 min to get undone.

Very positive experience, especially working with Spencer. He is proficient at not only getting the IV in place but helpful with keeping Doners calm. He has a great sense of humor , Very friendly and professional. I like to get Spencer, but they are good.

I've been attending this facility on and off since it opened. I've seen a lot of people come and go. Some staff are rude and some are great. Some staff speak to freely about their lives to everyone! The process has definitely improved over the years and could still use some help. Connects and disconnects are hit or miss, sometimes wait 25 minutes for a connect or disconnect! Time equals money, ask for help when you get behind. Don't rush your donors! Have customer service and try to smile! It would be nice

Spencer has some of the best bedside manner at this center. He has been very diligent with making me feel comfortable. I've also observed him many times treating others with the same kindness and attention.

My husband and I have been going to Biolife in Mt. Pleasant for more than a year and we always have a great experience. The employees are kind, very helpful, and always in an upbeat/fun mood! A special shout out to Sue R., Katie, Addie, Lana, Dancing Betty, Laura, Sam, Tiffany, Tiffany B., Clara, and Christopher! Keep up the good work!

The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to try and help where and when they can. The facility is immaculate and clean. The staff are very professional and do their best to make the Plasma donation process work safely and efficiently. Definitely recommend if you or someone you know might want to donate to medical research and possibly save someone life.

I love this Mt. Pleasant Biolife team, Clara and Spencer are awesome but honestly I've never had a bad experience and I have close to 600 donations. They explain the process and make you feel comfortable. The center is clean and the staff is exceptional!

Megan Belco is AMAZING! She is a great employee to have as a part of your staff. I hope she sticks around for quite some time as she is always one that can get the perfect stick! I have loved being one of her donors over the past couple years!! :)

Mt.Pleasant BioLife?s my regular donation site The girls are very courteous very nice. I've been to several in the state and out of the state .Mount Pleasant is the fastest the quickest, the most efficient. To mention again the facility , it's beautiful it's clean, immaculately, clean, and enjoyable to go to the nurses are very nice and the ?poker?girls are great. I love Betty, Laura, Brandy Sam, just all the girls are great. Thank you so much for taking care of me when I come here Katie You run the BioLif

Clean place and personable staff but the blood pressure, pulse machine is very inaccurate compared to my physicians office. It's like a roller-coaster in the numbers and readings.

I am incredibly impressed with the cleanliness and effectiveness of this facility. It has been an amazing patient experience right from the beginning! When I walked in the first time, I was so impressed with the attention to cleanliness of every step in this process. The techs all are so delightful and knowledgeable and do there jobs so efficiently, and it shows!!!!

Always a friendly and professional environment. Even if I am a troublemaker sometimes. Very clean facility. The staff is very helpful and polite. It's good to see smiling faces even when you're having a bad day. Sometimes that's all it takes to turn somebody's day around. Thanks Betty, Caitlin, Julie, Bella, Ryan, Autumn and the rest of the staff for being so great! I think BioLife owes you all lunch for keeping the machine well oiled and working so smoothly!

Everyone was very helpful and nice! I had a reaction my first try and Bella helped me incredibly quickly and calmly. She was phenomenal at everything and made me very comfortable!

Everyone usually does a great job at getting people in and out. Ive been donating for 15+ years and 9/10 i have a great experience going in. My 2 favorite techs would be Bella and Brandy. Both are always on top of their game and do their best to keep things moving.

They absolutely despise regular downers. If you are a regular donor you no longer get any extra bonuses for being a regular donor. When the cheap lances, they use fail twice. You're deferred because they can't get you to bleed. When they didn't properly clean the protein reader and the protein reader fails to read your protein your deferred. The only constellation they give is you can change your appointment day and come back tomorrow. Not that you're not scheduled out for 3 weeks from now and can't get a mo

I love this place. All the workers and staff are always friendly and happy to help. I am a committed donor. And I look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesdays and Thursdays when I donate. Kennedy, Renee addie, Hanna so many to name. But Caitlin she's my girl.. but I love all of them. Such an awesome staff. Always have a wonderful time donating. Always greeting smiles. I love it here. I feel like family they treat you like family.

This place is great! I love all the nurses and techs on the floor! Laura is the best! And Betty too! Actually, they are all really great people! I appreciate each one of them as individuals and as a team! They all work so well with eachother! Everyone is always positive and uplifting! Thank you Biolife! I'd add a photo but I cannot take photos while I am here. Caitlin is a sweetheart! I love coming in and having her check me out!! Laura is very nice and very kind! She can always get the poke on the first tr

It's always a pleasure we've I donate. I go twice a week and I'm very well attended and am always in good hands

BioLife is a great place to help life's and earn some extra cash on the side . The staff are there for you through every step and any questions , BioLife is, clean and a great place very careful and caring staff .members ! Thank you too, Laura, Betty, Sam , Sammy, both Tiffanys , Spencer , alec addie,Kariann, the nurses, and everyone one else on BioLife staff for taking care of us doners! Never stop being GREAT. Thank you for all your help in caring for your donors.

My finger print doest work so took a while to get started then the line to start donate was very long so my 9:35 appointment ended at 12 they over book

I've been donating for less than a year and to be honest, the beginning was very rough. I got an uncomfortable stick that was painful throughout the donation process and I did have a good bit of bruising for several weeks. I always tensed up. It is currently going very smoothly, thanks to so many special workers that are absolutely patient.

I've been avoiding going in for a month with anxiety about the needles. Megan B listened to my concern and was so gentle that it didn't hurt at all. She made the whole experience worth making another appointment!

I think this place has potential if it could simply get the coupons and referral process better trained. It's a simple training issue! My coupon code that stated it was for me and this location was not originally honored. Before I left I asked again why with someone at the front desk and was told the staff wasn't aware they were having coupon problems and corrected the issue. The same staff member that denied the coupon also put the referral as the wrong person and they wouldn't correct that. So I am n

Great staff in general...I have had Betty for atleast half of my visits, and is one of the most gentle phlebotomist!

The morning staff is super nice but my fiancee and I went after 4 and it was definitely a different experience. Very much a different atmosphere. Everybody looked tired, angry, and ready to go. No friendly faces.

Good experience for the most part. I do wish that the "go and sit for 5 minutes" process was more efficient. More than once I have had to sit for 5 because my heart rate is slightly elevated (white coat syndrome here) and due to the multi tasking I am forgotten about and I have to decide how to approach the technician to tell them they forgot about me. By the time I go up and interrupt and the person they called up in the meantime is dealt with my heart rate hasn't gone down as much as it might have otherw

Megan 5 star One of the best I have ever seen. ive never felt a poke. she is amazing at her job and always kind. Tryed to add this review but can't review twice last at the front desk is very unpolite non informative I showed up answered first question wrong cause screen wasn't taking my answer touch screen wasn't working properly I told her she said I had to see a nurse well after 30 mins of waiting I walked out to make a call come back in she says u gotta leave can't donate u went outside makes no sense

Beyond the friendliness of the entire staff is the highly efficient and quality work of the team. They are professional and well trained. I am completely confident in their skills, making a stress free and relaxing experience. GREAT JOB!

everyone is very professional, and you get in and out relatively fast, however beware of the bigger lady at the front desk, the 3 times i?ve donated she's given attitude after asking simple questions.seriously avoid her if yo can

went there for the first time today and was an excellent experience! Jordan and Kennedy were excellent and very sweet! Jordan saw me getting a little uncomfortable and came over and gave me tips on how to not think about it and things like that.

Only reason it's getting two stars is because the attendant I saw was very nice and polite. Other than that, the other front desk attendant was rude and short with people. I waited 20 minutes to even be seen when I arrived. As a first time donor, I needed a physical and the long appointment. I then waited 10 minutes for a nurse while listening to two of them chit chat in another room before they called me back. After being there for AN HOUR AND A HALF, I was told, very rudely and condescending, by a nurse t

Even though they were extremely busy, staff remained friendly and helpful.

The best BioLife location ever. Tiffany, Danny, Annalise, Zach, Bella and Spencer and Brandy are awesome. There's others, everyone is awesome here and you know people by name. And the people at BioLife outdo other customer service people by so much!

i was upset about having to switch centers after moving to a new town, but this one was just as great as my original center. betty and amy were so welcoming and friendly. amy helped me with my physical and betty poked me, both sweet and gentle. they made me feel very comfortable and always had a smile on their face!

I've had a lot of good conversations & interactions with all the staff at Mt. Plesant location. Megan has always been my favorite to get me hooked up. No pain.

Great place, with decent pay as well. Experience is usually great, except for some long waits. Also need to give a shout-out to Spencer for always being so accommodating!

The Mt.P Biolife is a great location to donate. Everybody is friendly even if it's hectic and they're running crazy. Although I've never had any issues with anybody here, I have a couple favorites as they are attentive everytime I come in, we can carry on conversations and laugh, those ladies are Betty, Megan, and Sam. :)

Everyone was Amazing! Except for Jennifer that works the front desk! She treated my son and myself so poorly! This was our first time and the next visit I will request to be helped by someone other than her! She should not be greeting all of the wonderful people coming into Biolife! They all deserve a welcoming smile, she does not have that quality!!

Usually a good experience! Kennedy (I think that's her name) has helped me a few times at the front and I absolutely love her. She never makes me feel dumb or stupid and always has a smile on her face. The world needs more people who are just positive and so willing to help like her! Update: love Katie, the Tiffany?s, Kailie, Spencer, they're all wonderful!

I highly recommend The Mount Pleasant location, the staff is always very friendly. Somebody always greets you or atleast smiles at you to acknowledge you. I feel they try their best to get you in and out quickly. And My money is on my card by the time I get back out to my car.

The simplicity of this is amazing! What wonderful people and so sweet! I love the way Jody just gets the needle in and you don't even know it!!! She is a rockstar! 100% recommendations to the Mt. Pleasant Bio Life.

Very professional, willing to accommodate the best they can, and so friendly! I have come to really enjoy seeing some of the employees every week! Betty ROCKS in Mt. P!

I appreciated the friendliness of the people there like Spencer. People welcome you and you befriend people when you come in regularly. If you have any questions or concerns they are happy to answer and help out.

Been donating here on and off since 2018 have alway been well taken care of, I love that they listen when you speak on ur own experience. Small list of people I know can get my tricky gains shout out to Spencer, Brandy, Kaylee, and a few more I can't think of names off the top of my head but everyone is great and kind and care!
