I love BioLife Plasma in North Ogden/Harrisville, Utah. The staff are so amazing, the facility is clean all over, and I've always had the greatest experience with the staff and my donations every week I go twice. Sometimes it takes a little longer to get through the line or to get to a bed and get connected to the machine, but the wait is always worth it and the staff do their best always to make my experience the best it can be all the time. It's the center I'd recommend for all Plasma Donors who know the
The facility was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The majority of the process was relatively quick and easy. I learned a lot of information about the risks and benefits of donation which shows transparency and makes me feel at ease. The only room for improvement I saw was staffing for the nurse conducting physicals. She was doing the best she could but the wait and physical it's self definitely took the majority of time.
2 hours start to finish. Too long in my opinion. In line behind 14 people and one section not even opened. I've neb coming here since they opened It takes me 28 min to donate. I used to be in and out in 45 min. They used to advertise it could be done on your lunch hour. They open too many appointment times and the staff cannot handle it. Their are a handful of employees who are attentive and quick (Bryan, Shannon, Dallas, )The rest stand around and talk and could care less how long you've been there.
The wait times are ridiculous. Too few employees screening. I've never seen so much standing around and talking. I would be fired if I was like this at my job. I feel like me and others are herded like cattle. A 2 hour process when it's not your first donation and needing a physical is outrageous. I've been to other companies and the wait times are not like this. Things are poorly ran here. I am pretty sure I will be finding elsewhere to go
Great place with accommodating staff, however, I'll only increase this to five stars once they update the stuff surrounding their bank cards. Northlane, the website they use for their cards, had since rebranded to "mypaymentvault" but they seemingly have yet to update anything to compensate with that, with the Debit Card FAQ leading you to a 404 error if you attempt to use the link again. This has resulted in plenty of issues where I could only buy something online if I deposit the cash and put it into my p
I have been coming to this facility for just over a year. When I first started, 2 hour waits were not the norm. Now you can't get in and out in less than 2 hours. The company allows way too many appointments for the available staff. These staff members are awesome and because of them, I'll keep coming back but they are being run ragged. They are burning out and will eventually find other employments leaving this facility short staffed even more than they already are. Unless the company decreases appointment
It used to be quick and convenient but seriously the last several donations I've had have been awful. I usually am waiting behind about 10-12 people to do the screening and then to get on a bed. I have scheduled an appointment for about 5pm and I don't get to actually donating until about 6-6:30 and of course then I'm officially done at about 7. The staff are nice but it seems like they don't have enough employees, and the employees they do have don't work very fast and don't seem concerned about the donors
This is by far absolutely the worst place I have ever been. They are beyond slow nothing ever gets done. They do not know how to do needle sticks. I have been to multiple other plasma places to donate and never had this many issues. I am currently sitting at the donation place and Ben in the chair hooked up to the machine for over two hours, I will never be returning. They will continually help other people that are finishing after me or coming to sit down after me and will not get me unhooked from the mach
I attempted to donate plasma there the other day, but I turned myself away because the line was ridiculously long and they were apparently very understaffed. I then went in again yesterday to donate and they were still understaffed, though not as poorly as they were the previous day. Employees were talking and I overheard them complaining about being understaffed. It's unfortunate because this used to be an extremely efficient site. I will continue coming here, but I hope I don't have to walk out of a donat
This is a rough review? on one hand if I were rating just the staff at this location, I would be giving them a 5 Star rating! The people that work there are very good and friendly, especially for what they face every day. Now if I was just reviewing the company, I'd give it a negative 1! THEY CONTINUE TO OVERBOOK!!! I'm so tired of making an appointment for a certain time and then going there and you are waiting behind 15 to 30+ people and then they keep putting new donors in front of the line and you have
I recently switched from the Layton center due to an address change. I gotta say I love this location. Wait times are rare. Seems like the space is more spacious than the Layton center. People here tend to be friendlier and in a better mood.
The nurses at BioLife they suck treat you like garbage, and then yeah, if you can't donate then they treat you even worse like your trash under their feet. And they just act like they're better because they're nurses, and I think it's horrible when you come in to donate plasma, and you're there to make money. While you're helping other people and you get treated like you're garbage by the nurses. When you have to do a physical, and they just kind of look at you like wanna you think she can't come back now a
Have had ups and downs with this place. If you think you're donating when your appointment time is, think again. They overbook the hell out of this place and it's pretty common to wait upwards of an hour until you're in the chair. I have always had good experiences with the staff here and think they're very personable. Shoutout especially to my man Dallas, whatever he's making it isn't enough. He's very efficient and nails the needle stick everytime. I'm not sure what the hiring process is here but they nee
This plasma center is terrible!! I have gone 4 times and each time has been exponentially worse. They take forever for each appointment. I have to wait at least an hour before getting the IV in. At other centers I can be in and out in 40 minutes. The workers are terrible at getting the veins. At every appointment they have dug in both of my arms for like 2 minutes each every time I go in so they have to wrap both of my arms. The last time I went they dug in my arm for like 2 minutes and they hit something r
Great donation experience. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable and accommodating.
The rewards do not match the length of time we have to wait in line with up to 25 people ahead of you and it doesn't seem like there's enough staff compared to the number of appointments that is made available each day. I used to go in and be able to walk out under an hour and now it's 2 and 1/2 hours to 3 hours and now perhaps related simply to the location only but the two locations that are near me have people that are not very good at sticking veins and more often than not I have both arms wrapped after
It was my first time donating plasma and the whole process was supported by the wonderful care team at the Ogden, UT location. I came in and met with Kenzie who was attentive and made sure I got everything I needed for first time donors. I was passed along to her coworker. I unfortunately did not get her name (older woman), but she was also wonderful and explained the next steps to me in detail. I then met with the (I think nurses) Zach and Liah who were very personable and kind. They answered any questions
I've been to this location just about 7 times. Of the 7 times 6 were fair uncomfortable. I'm not certain how much training the assistants get for phlebotomy. Unfortunately the last time there, about 2 weeks ago the assistant went too deep and had to adjust the needle. The picture was just hours after donating, unfortunately the area still feels bruises and hurts to extend. I like donating but unfortunately I'm not sure I can go back at all.
Their a joke. Donated 3 times and then they say my proteins are to low and now I have to go back wait ANOTHER ten days after giving my blood before if I can see if I can even re donate. I've donated at biomat for almost 6 years and have never failed my proteins once. If I have to wait 20 days every time there's a problem I'm gonna pass. What a joke of a system their laughable at best
So far just trying to set up account and start donating. It has been problem after problem and between the card company, and their own website, it is almost pointless. Not sure at this point if they are worth the hassle to donate. You'd think it would be easier to set up, like they want donors or something? At least pretend?
Love the Riverton location of BioLife. The wait isn't very long waiting to be screened. They actually have chairs for you to sit in while waiting to be pulled back to donate. They also call your name from the waiting area so you don't have to stand in a long line while your back aches after a long day of work. The employees are also very kind and friendly. The only down side is how much the compensation changes the more you donate. Especially when some people have to drive an hour to the nearest location
The wait for this center is very long. I have had issues with workers sticking me poorly. I had a male worker stick me so wrong that they tried to adjust 6 times in my arm and then decided to move to the other arm but the blood in the machine clotted and they couldn't return my blood after taking a lot of plasma. I passed out from this and got really sick. Then I got DEFERRED FOR LIFE all because of this INCOMPETENT worker.
This donation took almost 3 hours, start to finish. This center is chronically understaffed and people call in all the time. Is there something wrong with the management? Not enough pay? I can't keep spending this much time to donate and not be compensated more!
Although I think the staff there are great I find it ridiculous to have a appointment for 5:20 p.m. and you arrive 10 minutes early and you can't get out before 8:00 p m. I work a graveyard shift and want to rest a little before work and that makes it impossible. Please be better about our appointments so that we can continue to donate.
Honestly only something I do when I am at my most desperate for money. It feels weird, it hurts, it takes forever and the compensation only keeps going down more and more each month to where it's not worth it. This location is constantly busy I have never been there and not had to wait at least 30 min to get started and then it's another 30-60 min before I am done. Maybe it's not so bothersome for some people, I appreciate that it's an option for when I need a tank of gas before payday, however I hate it, i
Training? Do Phlebotomists at BioLife even receive it? They do unsafe redirects where they jab around in your arm with the needle just straight up fishing around. Intake phlebotomists are constantly touching their face with their gloved hands.
Our experience was not great. Nice facility and friendly people, but quality of the blood technician was poor. My wife had a terrible experience within her first trial period, she had a failed donation because of the needle insertion causing bad bruising. She could not return for 6 weeks which put her outside the bonus period. She lost out on the second half of the bonus, I.e. $400. When she returned she was stuck in both arms and severely bruised again causing black and blue on her arms again, this tim
This place is so slow. If I'm out in under 90 minutes it's a miracle. It takes forever to get through the screening. Then it's off to the line waiting to get a chair. If you thought the first line was long, buckle up. You will visibly age in this line. You finally get to a chair. Be prepared to wait another 10-20 minutes. When you finally finish the donation you'll wait up to 25 minutes to get unhooked. This was my experience last week. I watched the clock. And today, for the second time in a week they did
This place is so unorganized and very slow. Expect 2 hours minimum. You may be the first one that heads to the back but you will probably be second or third to get hooked up. And same when you are waiting to get unhooked. I've been skipped by 2 other people wh finished after me and I'm still waiting. Nobody cares about your time.
Staff here are amazing. Management? The complete opposite. Arrived 5:30. Scheduled for 6:30. Got in early. Been lines until 6:45. Finally on a bed. Any guesses on what time they'll actually?stick?me? Every week it's the same thing. I've donated at CSL Plasma, Grifols and Biolife in 7 locations over 5 years. Never have I seen such a poor use of the scheduling system. Too few employees is the excuse, but greedy management unwilling to optimize and then cut available slots to respect the time of donors is unac
I don't mind helping people but than you find out how much biolife makes off of my time and plasma each time I go is like $3,500-$5,000 and $40 is my pay. Yeah I think I'm done helping.
Corrinna bustos was amazing. She did my stick perfectly. Everytime I go in there's a bit of a wait, but the compensation and the staffs energy and positive vibes are amazing and worth it.
Hey, Adrian, when did you make the decision that I specifically shouldn't be able to pay my bills? When a prosecution team finds all communications between all employees from Biolife and Weber Human Services from November 29 til December 17, they will find zero suspicious exchanges? No scent of a hate crime? Discrimination for no legally justifiable reason? No, I'm sure your power trip was 100% justified. You let it get here. You chose that. You ignored me every step of the way, let it escalate, and found
Everyone is very friendly and efficient. They do everything they can to make you comfortable and help you go through the donation process as quickly and easily as possible.
I don't like how there is only the buddy referral promo and the new donor promo why don't the ones who faithfully give there time ever get promoted. They have to donate 8 times and then they get $5 with the rewards points but that's it
It's a good place to go and give to othered and get paid for it . The majority of the people are nice and friendly. However expect to have a 2 hour wise durning peak hours . They are understaffed for the past year !
I cannot believe the incompetence of this place. I got tossed around between 5 different people and heard the words ?I don't know? probably 20 times. Nobody knew why I needed to give a sample when I have never donated. Nobody knew where I needed to go but proceeded with the sample anyway. Then the tech rolled my vein. Proceeded to go to my other arm to take the sample only to tell me she didn't SEE MY FULL ARM TATTOO. Then had to ask 5 people if I could donate only to be told no. I waited there for AN HOUR
Bruised for the first time ever I've been giving plasma for like 6 years.. I have great veins so that crazy Now I got to wait 8 weeks because I lost blood all because my machine stopped it stops for a reasons right means something is wrong . The girl comes over ohhh I don't know what this means has me pump any ways.. the moment she walks Away blood is shooting out of my arm I have blood all over my shirt my joggers the floor.. all because she didn't check to see why the machine stopped maybe they end me ea
The staff at the Ogden location were amazing! It was my first time donating and they were great at informing me off all steps of the process. The nursing staff was nice and professional answering all questions I had. The plasma techs were also great at making sure I knew what was going on and making me feel comfortable during the plasma draw. Exceptional service!
The wait times here are absolutely horrible .It would not be so bad , if management did not walk around when it is busy talking acting like they can not help .. They leave you sit to get unhooked for at least 10 minutes .. Atmosphere is hit or miss , employees in the front talking about things in front of donors that are not always appropriate.. Most employees and management look like they hate there job , very unapproachable if you have any questions .. if you do ask them a question or say something they
They are so slow here & not much gets done. The workers are nice but they will make eye contact with you but not help. Every time i come i sit & wait for at least 30 minutes. They will walk past without starting you/ ending the session. Something that should only take an hour takes me at least 2 & a half. It makes me not want to donate.
Personal is very untrained, they cause a rupture in my vein, very painfulThe girl that did it ask me when she push the needle in if it feels ok and I answered No but she continued the process.i have to see the nurse every time I go to check on my ginormous bruise I have on my arm . My hand gets numb and I can lift anything with that hand or donate because of this. I've donated plasma before somewhere else and never had this problem before. So frustrating.
BioLife in Ogden is great. Yes there can sometimes be a wait. It's never to-to bad. The staff is great! Especially one of the supervisors; when I see ?Brian? there and he's running the floor. I KNOW things will be flow?n!!! ????
Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible company. DO NOT EVER COME HERE!!!!!! The most inexperienced staff I have ever seen! They have no clue what there doing! Also they Suck at poking you. You're more than likely going to be in so much pain from the stick because they can't do it right!! Plan on being here for hours upon hours too because they have no staff and they tend to be slowwwww!! After you get off the promotion, the money is terrible!!!
Very sweet quick service helped me with everything the nurse is very sweet! good employes thank you corey, leah as well
I will not be coming back. I have never been turned away when donating plasma and came here due to moving recently? after going through all screenings for 2 hours and waiting (which i understand and was fine with) the tech finally came to get it started and felt my veins and just said nope sorry! He said my veins are too small! That's ridiculous and i was here from 11:50-1:45. I'm sorry but if everyone else i have gone to can get a vein and you don't even try that's not a very good first experience at all.
It was honestly a very good visit, the only thing keeping my review from being a 5 star is that I was at the center for longer than anticipated
Since the new hours change BioLife has turned into a nightmare. They are understaffed. I used to be in and out in 55 minutes. Now it takes more than an hour and a half. Just really not good. The staff now leaves stuff on the floor. You never know who's actually helping you.
A nurse here messed up when she stuck me and it hurt pretty bad. Another time a staff member wrapped my arm too tight, so when I took off the bandaging my arm started spraying blood. Turned my donation away for minor bruising. Overall, not a great place honestly.
Normally when I come in the experience is okay at best, the needle is usually uncomfy and it takes forever. Today however a gentleman named Gabe was my helper and he did the best job I've ever seen done here. I didn't even feel my needle and got me in and out in less and an hour and 20. He is by far the best employee I've met
I just had a very negative experience with this location. After waiting for about 45 minutes to get hooked up, I mentioned in passing to the tech that my back was feeling a little tight. She told me that I couldn't donate until I spoke with a nurse about it. Since there was only one nurse, I then waited another 30 minutes to meet with the nurse. The nurse then tells me that she wouldn't let me donate today because I was not physically well enough to do so. I don't know if they were just mad that they h
By far the worst place I have ever dealt with. Was there an hour and a half to have a so called nurse on everyone of my meds say let me loom this up. Just to be told I couldn't donate because you can't be on insulin to donate. I then talked to a supervisor who contradicted the nurse. It than changed to because I'm on 2 insulins I can't donate as per their policy. I donate for red cross and have donated 2 other plasma places and it's you can't donate if you take a bovine derived insulin which discontinued in
Half of the center is empty, it could have twice as many beds. And yet, I wait over an hour to get a bed, 20 minutes to get stuck, and 20 minutes to get disconnected. It's as though my time isn't valuable to your organization. I should be able to plan my day knowing how long I'll be at your facility.
Returning donor here.. Physical with the nurse was unpleasant. A general attitude and almost disrespectful tone was delivered to me, including "wow you lost weight since your last donation" and comments about a tattoo that wasn't noted correctly by previous nurse stating "thats grounds for defferal". This made me feel like the nurse approving me for donation just didn't want me to be there. She didn't mention any promotions or help regarding my funds card (even though my friend was seen here hours earlier a
The staff is friendly and very informative. They made the process easy and quick as well as macking sure you understand the process and answer any questions you may have. Also Bert done an amazing job I didn't feel a thing and was almost completely painless and for someone that doesn't like needles made me definitely want to come back thank you guys at Ogden BioLife keep up the amazing work and saving lifes!
I've got a bone to pick with this place. I visited here in June of 2023 and the 1st nurse said I could donate as long as I got approved by my doctor, even with medication. The next day my doctor confirmed I could donate plasma, she faxed over records and even called to confirm I could donate. I got an appointment and went today, just to be told by a different nurse that I couldn't even if I was still on medication. There's obviously no communication with the staff either because they were disorganized a
Total waste of time. Came in for my second donation for this week and they would not let me donate because I had a bandaid on my finger. I explained I had the banded on during my first donation this week and had no problem. Kept me waiting 35 minutes just to tell me to go home. Worst part was I had to take the bandage off to show the nurse and she refused to bandage my finger backup! It's not like I brought more dressing to bandage myself back up after removing it upon their request!!!
Ive been donating for 3 months now and all the staff that I've interacted with so far is great and friendly. My favorite person to start the actual donating process for me is Corey, she has a great attitude and is extra thorough before starting the process. The building is nice and clean. Recently they add some new procedures which make its so there isn't much wait time, if any!
I feel really safe donating here and have no complaints about the donating experience. I do get bruises every now and again but that's part of the territory. It can get busy though and sometimes it takes 2+ hours?that's why I'm giving them four stars instead of 5.
Two reasons. The first one is money. I would think that regular, continual donors would get some decent promotions. We're the ones to be relied on. Just like you would take care of a returning customer. I had to consider if $120 per week was even worth it, and I have skipped weeks because it is not. #2 is that some of the people that actual insert the needle are not good, and I have had 1 bleeder and 2 hematomas (hope that's the right word). You can tell they just aren't as experienced and those ones always
Got deferred for 2 months because the staff didn't notice the line was leaking a large amount of my blood onto the floor and did not verify lines were secure. It's annoying to be penalized for staff that were busy talking rather than watching what was going on. When all proper checks have been done properly then it's an alright place.
So far, Biolife seems to me to be very put together and the process of donating with them has been very streamlined and efficient so far. Thank you to every member of the team that helped me to sign up with this center and donate, I genuinely and sincerely appreciate everything you're doing and want you to know that you're legendary status in my book.
Not worth it. Biolife used to be a good way to get extra money but each year there are more and more hoops to jump through. Everything can be in order, and they still deny you from donating for the smallest reason. Plus, the pre-screening process takes longer and longer as time goes on. If you donate, plan to be there for a while.
Seems like a lot of mal practice is going on at this Location. Over sticking with Needles turning donators. Away so they don't pay out bonuses. Making up False conditions so they can't donate. Such as hematomas clots and veign turn overs. Unprofessional environment and employees with attitude. Not answering phone lack of common courtsey veign torture by over turning needles untrained phlebotomy and knowledge
Went the first time with no issues. Was confused on what to do between stations as there was very vague instuctions and zero assistance and when I finished donating I didn't know if I needed to check out or if something else was next. Wasn't a big deal. Came back 2 days later and was told that my blood was high on something and that I couldn't donate. I asked what that meant and was told to Google it. I asked what my results were 2 days prior and was told they don't track that info. I guess my blood isn't h
The guy that helped me was very helpful. And the nurse that helped me after that checked my arms and made sure I was okay before I left. They are always nice and helpful when I go in there. There is only a few people that work there that aren't very nice but over all the staff are very nice and helpful
It used to be good but the last 3 months something has changed. It Takes forever to get through the testing area to actually getting hooked up. Up to 1hr. Then the time to actually get the plasma. Sometimes it takes 15 to 20 minutes to get unhooked. So by the time you walk in the door it can take 2 or 2.5 hours. They used to be fast and I could get in and out with in 55minutes. Maybe it's the holiday season? Not to mention they have been having quite a few issues with the app for scheduling appointments. I
Staff is always friendly and helpful. Very attentive.
I have been donating since October and was told the base pay is $40 for the first day and $80 for the second. After 6 months, they lower the base pay. They are slow and take forever from the time you finish the questionnaire to the time you are sitting there for a minimum of 20 minutes just to get unhooked from the machine. Make sure your whole day is open from any plans if you want to donate here. Also, if you watch closely while you're standing in line forever to get your vitals and blood checked prior to
I travel to this location instead of Layton because they are usually much kinder, faster, and more professional. I don't know what has been happening lately, but now it's just hours and hours wait time no matter where you go. Maybe it's time to try Griffols.
The wait time is way too long! It's regular to start actual donation an hour after my appointment time. Last month I actually left after going through the vital sign check. When I left I was 90 minutes past my appointment time and the waiting area would have been another 45 minutes. This is all before starting donation. The facility needs to be open Monday and more employees are needed. I have a monetary goal that when reached will be the end of my donations. It's not worth the time
Edit: incredible discrimination against those with ptsd and mental illnesses. They will immediately defer you if you have ptsd because I'm a "safety hazard" to employees. I'm a stay at home mom looking for ways to earn extra $$ and have never been a safety hazard to anyone. But thanks for that delightful label. Just don't go here. It's insulting and demeaning. I've been donating since August 2022 and the experience at Biolife has gotten progressively worse. It takes 3 hours of waiting in incredibly lon
I feel torn. I've been coming to this location for four months, and the last two months have been a nightmare. I used to only need to schedule an hour out of my day to come here. Now, I'm required to plan on 2 1/2 hours at very least. It seems like they schedule FAR too many people at once and they absolutely do not have the staff to handle this many people. Every day I come in to donate, there are 2-6 NEW donors getting screened. They do not have the staff to handle this many donors. It would seem this fa
I have had a good experience so far. They have a very friendly crew and make me feel welcome. AJ has done my screening my last three donations and does a great job! They have a good flow which helps speed up the donation process.
I have not donated in months and decided to come back in February. I regret to say this will be my last time donating because I DO NOT do this for the money, I do it for the people that need it, and when it takes you more than an hour to get to a bed and then half an hour to even get hooked up, it is obvious there is a problem with management. Anyone that works a full time job DOES NOT have 3 extra hours in any day for this nonsense. Most of the staff is nice but they make it very obvious that they do not w
The gal who took my vitals I believe her name was Cassie, she had grayish hair but still looked young, anyways she was spectacular. She helped calm me down and didn't just rush me through the process like some techs have in the past. Because of her I will continue to drive the extra distance to donate at the Ogden location ??
I have several donations here. 10 to be exact. And how sad it is to see how it has changed. each time the time that the process takes is longer and longer. many patients and few staff and those who are have a grumpy face. as if we are not welcome to them. I will definitely finish my process and retire. Do not come here. not worth it. It will take you 1 hour from the time you enter until you are seated, then you wait in the chair for 30 minutes to start. After completing your donation you wait 15 mo
First and foremost I want to say that the lady that greets you and the nurse with the brown hair are absolutely amazing. I'm a first time donor and on my first visit the girl put the needle in my vein ??.. and through the other side. She said the ?air bubbles? were nothing to worry about and quite common for first time donors since our veins were not used to that. After the ?air bubbles? continued she said they would have to end the session and put the fluids back into my body. Well, when that initiated a b
Donors who come from the infirmary should be sent to the end of the waiting line, as all of us do. Yesterday, a total of six patients in a row, coming from the nurse, were put to the front of the line, delaying our everybody else's attention, which is basically unfair. We could wait for 5 more minutes but six people makes almost half an hour. Or, staff can sorten them out in a different way.
We deserve a safer environment. I have utilized Biolife as supplemental income for a long time. I recently changed locations to the Ogden Ut location. Since my swap I have donated a total of 3 times. All three resulted in hematomas on both arms. No plasma has resulted from the donations. I was told that because I wasn't willing to use my damaged arm that I would not be compensated for the visits. Management and team would definitely gain from some additional safety training.
This is more of a situational awareness for you permanent RV lifers so you don't waste your time with them. Tried to get the new donor rate for at least the time they were offering cause I already donate with Biomat (7 years now) and they allow me to donate as long as I tell them I move. With biolife, they needed proof I will stay until (not sure what they were looking for of length) but I am paid until Dec 2024 and that didn't even count. So what I heard was because I don't live in an apartment or a house
I have a scheduled appointment time and it takes 1 hour to start donating plasma and my friends say it is a little better then before. I have been donating at Grifols because I'm in and out in less then 1"1/2 hours always. Most days it takes 1 hour. My time is valuable to me.
Very very slow. The wait is always very long, even when appointments are scheduled. It would appear appointments are overbooked
The full experience from the beginning to meeting Dana the moment I walked in to finishing up with my technician Misty was a welcoming and professional feeling with personalities making it a very calming experience.
The visits are always fast, friendly, and professional
Been donating for quite awhile now, never been late for an appointment, been through the long lines waiting 3 hours just to get a seat, and the first time I'm late because I got held up at work they turn my away, I was only late by 15 minutes, and I would get it if it was crazy busy but there was one person in line. Because of that experience I'm going to look somewhere. It's just really frustrating when I rely on this for a little extra money because I am the only one who works in my house hold.
Been a Biolife Donor for over 14 years on and off. Was really excited about the Ogden location and was donating there consistently for about a year. Took a three week vacation and came back and everything went down hill. The wait times do not make it feasible for me to continue to donate here. I used to get in and out in one hour MAX, usually 45 minutes or less. It takes more than that just to get on a bed now. Your review responses say you're going to work on this but every time I check into going back, wa
Wasted my time not once but twice. Came here waited in line and got deferred due to a stuffy nose. They told me to come back so I did. No symptoms no stuffy nose for them to tell me I was permanently deferred due to my allergies to perfume?. When I had stated previously that I was. Don't waste your time on this place!!!!! Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
