Although there was a bit of a line at the time, all employees were attentive to the needs of donors and other people waiting, so things still operated smoothly. And as the line grew, they quickly got another colored section open and moved employees around, so everyone was handled appropriately and there was no added stress. They make the whole process enjoyable.

Wanted to come back hoping the time would be better but sadly not. Starting at the stick station, Carolee and Lori. They take FOREVER to set a station and have no sense of urgency, they stare at their computers, talk to each other, and putz around for 5 minutes between people. I had a 12 pm appointment at the silver spring center in Milwaukee for physical and donation. I am a returning donor, so the lady at the reception desk told it would b rather quick. Despite my donation time only being 29 minutes. I didn't walk out of there until almost 4:30pm. It is very noticeable the employees that are there to work, because they end up picking up the slack for the lazy ones. Like unhooking donors that are done, but the phlebotomists in their area just kept on talking and ignoring them. T

I had an appointment for 4:45 pm. The time is now 6:10 pm and I still have not been hooked up to anything yet. I can only imagine how long it will take them to get my Iv started and the donation process. This is my first time experiencing this and I've been coming to this location for almost a year now. I've been to a handful of BioLife centers and this one by far has some of the best people. Getting stuck with needles and donating can be a bit daunting for anyone, but right from the check-in, they're both personable and professional so you know you're in great hands. Despite being up before the sun, Brittany and Sam are always there to greet you with a smile and get you back donating as efficiently as possible. Clean place with friendly staff and good pay for new donors. The only time it took more than an hour to donate was my first time with the physical. I just finished my new donor promo and I'll be taking a little break cause twice a week has been a bit taxing, but I plan to keep donating after this. I have a disabled child with high needs and I can't work a regular job, so being able to earn extra money like this is a real Godsend. Makes you feel good to know that it's helping other people too.

The place is clean and most of the staff are nice (save for the man who helped me today), but they need to be better educated about vitals and how to take them properly. The last two times my blood pressure was deemed too high to donate, but the cuff they used was way too small. I requested a larger cuff multiple times and was ignored. It took over two hours to donate on 1-29-2025. There was a very long line through out the whole donating process. When I was poked for my donation, I experienced a very painful poke. The person had an issue finding my vein, so they needed assistance from a coworker. They found my vein right away. $40.00 for over a two hour process does not compute.

I got a big runaround at first, needing proof from my doctor that I have a very mild case of sleep apnea before I can start donating. They always seem to have problems with using my right arm. On my last visit, they missed the vein on both my arms, causing hematomas. I was paid in full though. This location does not honor the $750 new donor promo that's being advertised.

Great staff. I go early so the process is really quick. Very clean place to donate. 10/10. Staff there knows what they are doing. It's been a while since I donated. The last place I went to was horrible. Dirty. Staff didn't know how to find the veins good. But over here. You're in and out.

The people are nice but Im frustrated.Ive donated 3 times and today I wasnt able because I had a hematoma. That is 3 hematomas in 4 visits. Not fun!

I struggle to get past the vitals station to donate I'm, fit and active but heart rate requirements max of 100 beats. When you stand for the line, sit for 5 minutes going thru all of this, it's not enough time to return to resting heartbeat. Then rejected till the following day. I don't mind needles to help others, but given the fact that I'm being poked and tested, think you could stretch your guidelines alittle to 105? Or consider a mobile blood pressure cuff and go to the side waiting area to recheck

I have typically had great experiences at this location. However, today I was there just shy of 2 hours. It was disappointing seeing that Mia, one of the managers would keep taking new people who arrived 10 people and more after me while I waited in the shared section next to hers forever! My BioLife in Pewaukee, Wi is delightful. The atmosphere is calm, but also upbeat, if that makes sense. The employees are polite, friendly, quick to answer questions and concerned for my comfort. I actually look forward to my appt. times!!

Slowest place on earth. Checking in at the vitals station is equivalent to the sloth at the DMV on the movie Zootopia. $50 bucks for you if you have 3 hours to sit there.

I can't believe I traveled more than 30 minutes to come to my appointment only to be told that they were behind schedule and couldn't see me , But people kept coming and they were not going to be served. I have been coming to the Pewaukee location for some time now and could not be more happy with my experiences! I would like to personally recognize Zoe, Tim, Sara, and Brooke. The only reason I remember their names is from the extremely friendly and professional service I have received from them each and every time! Thank you for your time and for your light hearted humor. It makes the entire process stress free and enjoyable!

Friendly and professional staff. The first time process is very well organized. Scheduling for initial appointments is seamless. Donation fee is reasonable.Air conditioning setting is uncomfortable. Almost 20 yrs donating with Bio Life. Highlights: 1. The experience has gotten worse. 2. The process is slow; sticks are inconsistent almost as if staff is undertrained. 3. Now they're collecting more plasma and paying the same - seems a bit odd. It's just become more of a hassle.

Management in Pewaukee, WI seems to be lacking. Always an extreme wait that turns what's supposed to be an hour into 1.5hrs consistently. Workers are busting butt and working hard, there just never seems to be enough.

Checking in was a cluster. The requirement to have ssn docs with you is a little crazy considering they look at it for one second only. They need you to know it for your paperwork so requiring the physical card makes no sense. After that - my paperwork got lost at least twice between check in and meeting with the nurse. My experience at BioLife Pewaukee was great! I came here for a physical as my normal BioLife location did not have appointments open. Nellie helped me at the receptionist desk and was super welcoming, helpful, and full of joy which was a breath of fresh air! The nurses who helped with my physical were also great! I love this place! I have donated approximately 30 times so far. Every time I visit, I am welcomed and greeted warmly. The staff work efficiently. So, I have never had to wait. The staff was running behind schedule because multiple employees had called in sick that day...all the employees I interacted with were making their best effort to maintain a positive attitude even though they were very busy trying to keep up in the short-staffed situation.

What a horrible Experience. I have been going there for over a year now and I have never ever experienced what I experienced today how rude our some of the technicians there. I cannot believe that they let their technicians speak to people giving blood like that! If it wasn't for the people giving blood they wouldn't have a job! I have been donating plasma regularly for three years and have never had any issues until my recent visit on Saturday, August 24th. I've always used my left arm without any problems, and I typically have a high pain tolerance. However, this last experience was beyond anything I've encountered before. The phlebotomist, Erin (name tag said Janesville), appeared inexperienced or unsure of what she was doing. When she inserted the needle, the pain was unbearable. She moved the needle in and out, back and forth

Donated and it was very pleasant experience. Sam was very good at helping where needed and providing support to people who might be just starting out. People seem to respond well to her and respect her. Overall, not a bad location. Angelina seemed to also add to the pleasantness of the experience.

Went in today and it was my first time, it was very easy and simple and everyone was so friendly and nice. Brendan helped me get started right away, then Kimberly helped me, and Caleb and another gentlemen I can't remember his name helped me as I was giving plasma. My 1st donation went smooth. The tech that put the needle in was great. I had no pain from beginning to end. 2nd visit... When the needle went in it hurt like hell and it hurt the entire time! I ended up passing out. I was very bruised! I tried it a 3rd time..passed out again. I ate protein and iron-rich foods the couple days leading up. Not sure if I will try it again

Need more help on floor to help take donors off machines when done, 1 person for 6 donors isn't enough. Waited almost 15 minutes once done to be taken off machine.

Normally everything goes well. I was frustrated last week when I couldn't donate twice that week because they said it was to early. I was told you need to skip a day in-between donations so I had an appt on Tuesday and Thursday. I showed up Thursday and they said I couldn't donate cause it was too early since I donated Tuesday. Plus I kept getting notices that I missed my appt. I explained I was out of state Friday thru Sunday. So only donated once last week.

My experience at the pewaukee location has been pretty good so far. Thomas is a fantastic staff member and is always very nice and efficient. I know I can trust him to make the experience enjoyable and smooth.

It's been twice now that my labs have been messed up and I cannot donate. What makes it worse is that they said they would contact me if and when everything is fine, but they have not for either times. Poor customer service.

Everyone here is nice, but I question the staffing and management. I've seen and heard more about employees not showing up or doing there job than I want. The wait times are crazy long. I have to agree with a previous review regarding staff experience. Place is nice, staff is nice, but you go in each time worrying if you can successfully donate. I have only gone 4 times, second time needle wasn't in correctly resulting in a black and blue arm, fourth time same thing and I cannot go back for 8 weeks. Blood was dripping from arm when inserted. I used to donate with csl plasma, after my last experience I thought I was never going to donate again. When I saw this place open up so close to home I decided to give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. It was a very clean environment with a very friendly and attentive staff. This location is HORRIBLE!! They do not know what they're doing when it comes to poking!! They push the needle in too far. They do 4-5 needle adjustments. When I go to Greenfield they poke one time with NO ADJUSTMENTS!! They caused blood clot and didn't even show empathy!! Go to this location at YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Kayla at Biolife in pewaukee is the best! She's always in a great mood and treats everyone with the utmost respect. Lloyd remembers me by name every single time I see him, he's my boy! Since I started going to donate plasma my experiences have been mostly positive. Early on it was somewhat stressful. With guidance from Erin, my appointments have gotten increasingly better. I learned what I need to do to help out my donation times. I learned some easy nutritional tips to make my time enjoyable instead of stressful. The entire team is a pleasure to work with. Location was good as usual. I was a little disappointed that the tech collapsed my vein not allowing me to donate. I was told next time to ask for a more senior employee or supervisor to insert the needle.

The first two times were a long process but overall went ok. Today I went back for my third donation and what a mess. Not one staff member came to ask if everything was going ok after I started the donation. At the end of my donation I had to sit well over 10 minutes to get disconnected. They are severely under staffed nurses and phlebotomists EVERY time I have gone. I actually feel unsafe going here. No one seems to know what they are doing, when issues arise. Every visit takes hours, which is odd because I've donated at the Onalaska location and it doesn't take them this long and I never had issues when I donated there for years.

Today was my first time donating plasma with BioLife . I want to compliment the BioLife Pewaukee /Waukesha location staff that took care of me with the entire process.
