Just got my physical and donated for the first time, awesome facilities and amazing staff. Melissa who i guess was the head nurse and did my physical was very professional alongside the other nurses. There is a slight pain of pinching during the donation but everything felt fine and I feel great afterwards!

Location staff great but BioLife company policy on payment is misleading. They provide your compensation on what they call a debit card, however since their card has no readable chip it is not acceptable at many places. If you just don't want to buy fast food or shop at the dollar store this form of payment is not the same as $$. While ?helping people? is a wonderful goal a compensation ?card? that is not accepted at Amazon or at EV chargers is not the same as a debit card and BioLife should not be allowed

I've donated here 18 times and last time I went to donate, they did a vein check and deferred me from BioLife because my veins were too small. Meanwhile I donated there a week prior without any issues. So instead the same day I went to CSL and became a new donor and they were able to stick me without any problem. The wait times here are also incredibly long and staffing is never enough to handle everybody so you have long wait times for vitals and long bed waits.

Ms Brandi is So Wonderful & Nice She Takes Care of Me Every Time I Definitely Recommend Her To Any New Donors 5

I finished before the African American person across from me but the African American lady took him first , making me wait even longer. 15 minutes waiting since finished

Normally my experience is good. The last 2 times my stick infiltrated resulting in bruising and not being able to finish donating nor could I donate for 2 weeks. Quite frustrating.

the staff are nice and pretty good at doing the sticks without pain. aryanna is a sweetheart who will remember your name and takes great care of you !

Extremely unhappy with my second visit to BioLife. I came in to donate and I had a question when I came in, and Bri was incredibly rude and snarky with me. Once it was time to actually donate, I could tell that something wasn't right because of the excruciating pain. I called over the tech and told her something didn't feel right, to which she responded by pushing the needle into my arm further. She also was visibly annoyed at me asking her to fix the needle. The pain was unbearable at that point. I got an

I know this isn't as bad as some of the other peoples bruises on here but I've been going here for over a year, this is the second time I've had this happen to me because I got stuck with Brandi inserting the needle in my arm and blood starting to come out and she said it was normal and wiped it off and it happened again so I had to get someone else to switch to another arm.. I give this place a 5 star because the staff is very friendly and all my experiences are always good except those two times. I really

Staff here are really helpful. I had a couple issues the first few times I came and they were attentive and respectful with making sure I was able to get them situated. Tasha is a great nurse she made me feel very welcome and secure. She is very happy and bubbly and good with making you feel comfortable.

I went to donate for my first time and did not complete the process due to a too-handsy male nurse who's name I did not get because he made me so uncomfortable. He seemed new and was reading everything out of a notebook, which was concerning to begin with. Up until him I had a great experience with a young woman who did my initial check in. I wish I knew her name to give her a great review because she was so kind and warm. The man made me and seemingly others unsettled. He grabbed my arm in the waiting room

Very clean and professional. Alicia is so awesome, I always try to get in her section. When she sticks you, she does it with such ease and makes sure you're comfortable. When Alicia sticks me, I don't even feel it, and when she pulls it out again I don't even feel it. She's a natural. And she's so personable and easy to talk to. Shes my favorite one there. She deserves a promotion!! Overall a great place to donate plasma. I never want to go anywhere else!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were professional from start to finish!

If you could give no starts, that would be my review. I went in for my first donation and about 15 minuted in started to feel light headed. I could not get the attention of the phlebotomist so another person donating finally directed him over to me. I said I did not feel well and he very rudely said "so what you want me to slow it down?" Again this was my first time, so I did not even know what that meant. I said I would try that, and not even a minute later knew that was not going to work. They had a nurse

6-25-2025 Today I went in again as they mentioned they needed a form of proof of address. I came in with what they asked for but still received the same discrimination and racism towards trying to help someone in need of plamsa. I got my own business and go to Full Sail University. My tuition is way more than an single employee makes working there in a year and my tuition is paid for so I would come here to donate for the extra money and helping someone in need but now it seems to be a problem because I am

The technicians are always polite, courteous, and attentive. They are always concerned about my comfort

I dont know her name but the bald headed lady messed me up really bad, she let the needle roll in my arm and just left ut there with no help or adjustment. AB had to come adjust it and it was working for a minute then it stopped

Friendly staff, clean stream lined process. Love the app and knowing that I've helped other people. Will recommend to friends.

If incompetence and unprofessionalism is your thing. This is the place for you! I want to start by saying that almost every employee I interacted with at this location was very friendly, with the exception of one girl in particular who works the vitals station. If you've ever been there. You know who I'm talking about. I donated at this location 12 different times. The last time I did, the needle must?ve slipped, and my arm bruised very badly. Things happen, and I'm understanding of that. I wasn't able to

Very efficient, friendly, and professional staff. It can be very busy sometimes so donars need to be patient, but my experience is I'm in and out in about an hour 25minutes, or less, most times.

Staff was polite, it was quick money, and the process was seamless so I'm happy overall.

The staff are super friendly and respect your and comfort thru the entire process. The nurse I saw, Tasha, was nothing short of lovely. She explained everything and made my experience as positive as it was!

Asked to review questions, Tasha visiting nurse was very professional and courteous. She gave the greeting of the day; and quicky address my challenges. Her knowledge helped me feel comfortable about donating. Thanks again for your hard work and dedication to excellence.

I enjoy coming to donate at the Braddock/Edgewood BioLife. All of the staff are very friendly, kind, and professional. The staff exhibits sincerity with their high level care for all donors. The wait is never too bad to donate, it is WAYYYY BETTER than the McKnight road location. I especially enjoy seeing Alicia, one of the supervisors. She is an amazing leader, super funny, beautiful, and is professional yet down to earth at all times with her fellow staff and all donors. She exhibits a high level of compa

Absolute best place to donate plasma in the city. The staff is all friendly and take their time with you to make sure you're comfortable. From medical history all the way to the sample processing lab, everyone has a great personality and vibe about them. You constantly see the management team out interacting with everyone and not just locked away behind a door. If you're looking for a reason to start donating, let this new center opening be that reason! Just be prepared to spend some quality time in the cen

They need more staff but the workers make the experience the best they can. The workers should be paid more too.

My experience with Bio-life is positive. I would like to say that I am not fond of needles. Everyone at the Braddock location is professional, without making anyone feel bad, I just want to say that Brandy is the one who, when she sticks me, I always feel comfortable. But I don't want to dismiss any of the other people who work there. It's just that I feel really comfortable with her.

Garbage, it's said we get paid instantly and we don't wait times from 15 minutes to an hour plus. And they are doing nothing to fix it

Wonderful place to donate plasma. Alicia one of the phlebotomist's is so down to earth and chill. She will talk you through everything and if you have a question she answers it. She almost always has a smile and just makes you feel comfortable. I wouldn't go anywhere else to donate plasma.

Alicia is an employee who goes above and beyond for all of the donors. I've been donating for 6 months and feel she is definitely management material! There's also a newer employee Abranna who I just absolutely love and is one of the most positive ppl ever. These two young ladies need promotions and more money for their dedication and hard work!!!!!!!!

All of the staff are very friendly and professional. But Brehanna, who did my physical was one of the most pleasant, upbeat, energetic people I've ever met. She made the physical such an easy and fun process that I asked for a way to leave a review just to brag about her! Her personality is amazing & I just hope she gets acknowledged for making my day and entire experience so wonderful! ??

Very friendly and helpful staff and unlike other centers they know what they're doing

I've been a donor at the Braddock Ave location for over a year, and so I have gotten to know many of the staff pretty well. Everyone, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, is, courteous, handles their very busy positions with grace, (sometimes a little humor) and are always professional, and efficient. They run that place like a ?well oiled machine? ? I try to get there twice a week, and even if there are 20 people ahead of me, it doesn't take long for it to be my turn. There are too many ?friends? I have made over there to n

That female Abranna is on top of her game. I see her get out of line to assist the already struggling workers due to call offs. She sacrificed her own donation to help. That's A1 on my book. Thank you AB.

I have been declined more times than I have been admitted. Unacceptable and they make you waste your time/money.

BioLife plasma at Edgewood town center is a great place to donate plasma. The place is clean and professional. I've been donating there for about 9 months and the phlebotomists are great. I used to donate plasma at CSL and I have big veins yet sometimes they couldn't find my veins though my veins are big and easy to see. The staff at BioLife is great and I particularly like when I get Alicia or Brandy connecting me to the machine. Both ladies are so pleasant and I don't even feel a pinch when they put the n

10 stars!!! There will be NO next time. The staff is incompetent. 3 different times I paid for a Uber and when I arrived was turned away. I don't know why I was not notified prior to my appointment that I might not be able to donate and I would of not taken a Uber. That was money I would of spent on food for my children. I had no problem donating in Florida in the last 5 months. I was told I would be reimbursed for my Uber and still have not been. It is very unprofessional.

Gigi is on fire at the desk, always attentive and professional, love seeing her upfront when I come in

The staff who got me checked in as a first time donor were extremely kind and helpful and personable! Sadly, the nurse who checked my veins was extremely rude and disrespectful and completely ruined my experience. First of all, the nurse (a white woman) said a racial slur in a jokingly fashion very loudly in front of me to her white coworker. Don't get me wrong, I'm white as well, but I felt it was inappropriate and I wouldn't want anybody to have heard it and felt offended. Once she started checking my v

Unprofessional, grossly overweight nurse questioned my fitness! I do CrossFit and have protein supplements everyday. They treat you like a slab of meat.

Definitely a great place to get a little extra cash. Can have a bit of a wait time but they are usually pretty quick.

This is the greatest group of folks in the industry. Jamal and everyone on the crew are Always respectful and in the best of spirits. I've donated for decades and never seen a place this friendly and efficient.

Alicia is great worker. She makes everyone feel comfortable at the center. Very personal an a great phlebotomist. She definitely deserves a raise.

Super efficient and clean facility. Great staff, very professional and friendly. Special shout out to Jermal. Always there with a nice word and does excellent work.

This donation center is amazing! The staff is so kind and helpful and they do an awesome job at making each experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. Dorian, Quinn, Kenny are top tier and always make my experience great!

The wait time was horrible. Sometimes its Over an hour and a half wait. I donated 7 times and it has left ugly scars on my arm that looks like track marks now. Which I'm now self conscious about. It takes me over an hour to get to the closest plasma center so for me it's just not worth it but maybe for somebody who lives closer and doesn't mind the scarring it would be good for them

Abranna is my fave at the lab she's always so sweet and kind. When her and Alicia are working it's normally a quick visit cause they don't play no games lol

Let me preface by saying I've donated with CSL, BioLife and Grifols. I have also worked alongside drug reps from all of these companies as well as built plasmapheresis machines. They make you set an appointment time which is fine. BUT every single time I've come to donate in the past month, there has been a long bed wait. Today my appointment was at 10:35 and it's currently almost 11:20. I haven't been put in the bed, or hooked up so I can't imagine I will be started until at the very least an hour past my

I wish, so hard, that there was a donation center closer to me than this one. Every time I come here, there is some insane wait and the employees doing vitals are much more focused on their side conversations than caring for the person they're checking on. I don't have a lot of time throughout the week to make it to donations so I am normally barely trying to squeeze it in. I make my appointment time and still wait in a line of like, 15 people at the bed wait. Why? An appointment that has been described on

The WHOLE CREW, Brandi, Aaron, Linda, Gwen, Deion, Shantia, both Ashleys, Raye, Christina, Morgan ,I MEAN THE WHOLE ENTIRE CREW, excellent service, professionalism is off the chain!!! All staff make you feel welcomed and right at home! TOP NOTCH! If I could give 100 stars I would! I hope everyone receives a huge bonus for the service they give!

I had a great and not so great experience! The not so great, my body thought it would be fun to pass out after donating! The great part was the care I received afterwards. Wow, I can't say enough about the staff who were so attentive and nurse Kami who stayed with me the whole time and made sure I was ok. They also called me afterwards to make sure I was doing ok!

I'm a New but BioLife is much more organized than than other plasma centers

I've had issues with the stick before because of my small veins, but I had Jermal today and in the past and he always does a great job!!

My boyfriend just came here to donate plasma and he stood in the wrong place in line on accident and an employee screamed at him publicly in front of the whole lobby. While he was apologizing profusely for not being in the right spot she never said sorry. Then she took his vitals and his heart rate was 132 because of how shook up he was from her just screaming at him. While taking his vitals she yelled continuously about how he needed to relax his hand. His heart rate didn't go down enough to donate today.

Tbh I used to hate coming to this BioLife but with Alicia and AB, things have def turned around and the process is faster and smoother. I think it's just the Ohio in them but them girls are different and I love it!

I would've given 4 stars, your staff is awesome but your company seems to be lacking employees. To keep a better appearance, please stop over scheduling when you are low on employees. Customer's there is another plasma bank in Monroeville, PA. I haven't been there before, but I will make an appointment soon with them. Thank you BioLife for your services !

Slow. Very very slow. Waiting 40 minutes past my appointment

I've watched AB become a great phlebotomist over the past few months and I'm so proud of her! Keep up the good work girl!

The nurses and phlebotomists are very professional. I can't say the same thing about the front desk workers, who are generally unhelpful when I have questions and they can also be quite rude.

Came in for appointment on 6/19 and there were about 8 people in line waiting to be screened with one worker. How can a plasma center only have one worker during the heart of the day. To make it worst there was another whole section of people just waiting for the bed. Why do you let people over schedule knowing that you do not have the staff to manage it.

They state new donor appointments take 2 hours, expect it to take 4. Upon arrival I was given the wrong name on my identification card, bad sign. After that they could not ?find me in the system? while proving my correct identity through a drivers license, w-2, and utility bill. As a new donor, I waited at least 10 minutes between each step while the staff conjoined talking amongst themselves gossiping rather than doing their job. I had 3 different techs service my donation, since the first tech didn't plac

Slow service. not enough staff. Hour long waits. Not enough pay.

been donating here for months. used to be quick and efficient, now it is extremely slow. guaranteed to be a wait. there's a couple employees who are absolutely awesome, & show what biolife could be. Kym, Ashley, Dorian, & Melissa are amazing at what they do. then you get people like Rae (who is supposed to be a manager) who are plain nasty. rude to the donors & unhelpful, with a smart mouth. i will call before i come now just to make sure this woman isn't there, because her manner is absolutely disgusting.

So the first appointment took forever, but it was their opening day and despite being there waaaaay past closing time, everyone was super nice. The reason for the 5 stars though was my second appointment with Dorian. He was very nice, friendly, and patient with all of the questions I had. He explained everything he was doing and checked in frequently. Will definitely be returning.

Jermal (employee) recommended i visit after i described what was going on at home. It was Worth every effort. Effective, informative and friendly. 10/10

Great experience! The staffers make for a pleasant process. Dorian is your overall knowledgeable "go to guy" for whatever you need from A to Z, a true leader! Melissa is the friendliest. Rae-Ann is the absolute best "sticker" that I've ever come across. Aside from that, Aaron (management), along with the front desk, triage & medical personnel, they are doing an excellent job of working together organizing this new facility. I can't say enough good things.

As a first time donor.. this facility was very clean and everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Tasha was definitely a 10/10

Everbody there is beyond nice and professional. You need to pay them more. And the donor way more. Each donation you receive is worth 5000 dolars and the best you can pay is 40 dollars and 90 dollars. You should be ashamed of yourself.

This center is fantastic! Been coming here for a few months now. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful; Jessy was amazing. I always have a smooth visit every time.

The payout is $40/$80 compared to CSL Plasma $45/$60. However, it is not worth it because the schedule increasement is by 5 minutes. They over schedule to get as many people as possible. You can only arrive 15 minutes early to do questionnaire on computer, then there is a wait line in vitals check in, then wait at bed wait, then get on bed to do plasma. I have always been over 1.5 to 2 hours or more depending on how busy they are. Not worth it the drive out. Also, the screening questionnaire is way to

Today was my third donation. Your first time donating does take some time to get you in the system and get all the basic information they need to make your next donations easier. My second visit went smooth and fast. I have had the same staff member Kieya start my donation. She handles everything professionally and calming. All the stuff does a wonderful job helping to make your visit and time with them great and enjoyable

Their always nice. They check on you often to make sure you're ok. Their friendly and that all makes it a pleasant experience for me

Great if you're unemployed and can devote a whole day to making $50. The website says it'll take 2 hours for first appointment and about an hour for all following appointments. My first appt took 6 hours and following appointments take 3+ hours. They staff 5 people for the whole building but schedule 300 for an hour. It makes no sense and is not realistic for anyone who works or can't give a whole day to this mess. Staff is friendly but half the time they're too busy gossiping to move people through the pro

I'm not sure what the point of making donation appointments is here. The wait times are RIDICULOUS. I'm not sure if it's overbooking, understaffing or a combination of the two, but I'm talking HOURS. The staff appears to work pretty consistently, but it's clear they are overwhelmed. I was so excited to have a donation center so close to my home, and I thought the appointment system would streamline or at least prevent overload, but I've never gotten out of there in less than two hours- and that's on a good

Such a great facility! I felt welcomed by the staff from the moment I began donating, Brandy has been especially awesome! I feel like I'm making a difference.

Went into this facility as a new donor today and Tasha was very helpful throughout the whole experience and so was all the rest of the staff.

Great people had a worker named Jermal that was great! No complaints and the other employees have been great as well!

Clean space & time efficient to make appointments quick/seamless. Dorian and the team also do a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable with the process.

Great location and friendly staff; it is nice to see one of these open up on McKnight Road. Donating plasma is very crucial especially during these times.

This was my first time ever visiting a donation center and I am highly disappointed. They gave me a hard time about my identification at the front (the email says to bring two pieces of mail with an address on it but does not say it HAS to be a utility bill). My appointment was at 3 and since it was my first time visiting I had to go through the process of the exam and eligibility requirements. After taking a questionnaire I was told to have a seat and wait to be called for the next step in the process. I s

Tasha is a wonderful tech. The sign up/in process was smooth and quick. Visit them to save lives!

The technician who poked my arm poked it too deep. It still hurts days later, esp when I try to lift anything. I feel tingling in my arm when I move a certain way or lift anything over 3 lbs. I suspect she hit a nerve. Either way I don't want to come back, I'm not risking my health over this. Not to mention the lines and wait times are pretty long, you'll be there for hours.

It was a smooth process except for the beginning check in only because of the amount of people trying to check in and there was only one staff member out front. The first time takes a while but I watched other recurring donors get in and out in under an hour. Very thorough on their pre-screening, actual donation was fast and the technicians were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Dorian was my tech and requested by name by several recurring donors. I'll probably request him as well. Had a really

Yesterday my experience at BioLife was truly amazing. There was zero wait time. I had a physical and donation. And was in and not in under two hours.

I have been a donor since the grand opening of this center and I love the staff especially the ones that have been working there since the grand opening, (Linda, Ashley, Morgan and other staff and management. My only concern is that is it even legal to give donors donating in the same week different pay for same amount of plasma. Meaning the discrepancy in second weekly donation ranging from $70-$90 for each different donor. EQUAL PAY FOR ALL DONORS

The staff here is so amazing. I had some crazy effects because of myself but I appreciate each and every staff who took care of me.. The nicest people ever... Sidebar: the one guy, Dorian is like super cute & kind, not gonna lie lol.#DorianBioLife

Leaders/managers should lead by example. Not by standing around with their hands on their hips handing out orders. I witnessed a employee trying to help a new donor with donation,as i waited to be started and 3 others clients needed disconnected. One of the clients stopped manager Aaron and ask to be disconnected because he needed to use the restroom. Aaron said she will be with you when she can. All the while she was running nonstop. The client had to wait a additional 30 minutes while Aaron stood off

Morgan and the BioLife team are simply the best ever. Morgan's always smiling, pleasant and happy. My veins are difficult & I've never had a problem, always a pleasant experience!!??
