This location is so unprofessional. I have left a review before w photos about how the women constantly left bruises on my bfs arm and would need to ? readjust? about three times on each arm then send him home because they had issues . Leaving him in pain and never wanting to go. After that initial review , they claimed he was ? rude because he would ask for the men to do it and never had issues since . As of yesterday, June 17th some chick with purple ish hair or dark maroon with blue streaks not sure but
Outstanding Experience at Bio Place Plasma Center all Thanks to Liz. I've been donating at Bio Place Plasma Center for a while now, and I can't say enough good things about this place. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Liz and the staff are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and always makes sure you feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. The facility is spotless and well-maintained, which immediately puts you at ease. The donation
I started donating plasma in December last year and everything went smoothly every time. Y?all updated the system a few weeks ago and now it takes forever to get done and I always get a no flow error or no return error. Just the other day they had to take me off before I got my blood back or saline because of the no return error and I had been there core over an hour. I do everything before I go to make sure it runs smoothly, eat right, no dairy or fatty foods and drink a ton of water. The staff is wonderf
All the Staff members are very nice and helpful every time we donate plasma. They are doing their best to make you feel comfortable while donating. Always asking if you feel good and if you have any questions or concerns you can ask a staff member.
The staff is very friendly but, as you can see in the photo, not always the best at hitting the vein right. The big downside is after the promotional period of being a first time donor, the payouts drop significantly. It would also be nice if they offered some kind of small snack and water before or after each donation. Also, they did some sort of update on their machines and now it takes about 1.5 - 2.5 hours to donate. Not really worth the $40 - $50 you get. They sell each donation for $750 - $1k, so they
I don't know why they are so secretive about their new donor fees. You can't find out until you're half way into the admission process. Which I think is ridiculous. No other plasma center is like that and I've been to all of them in San Antonio. So here you go. And they change every month.
Neither it's great nor bad. The staff needs to be more accommodating of helping you when the machine keeps beeping i pressumed your done and it means you need to be taken off it? Instead of ignoring it and you just sit there like....hello.?? They need to do their job better! We donors have other obligations too aside from just sitting/waiting there!!!
This review deserves 0 stars. You'll be scheduled for a certain time that will come and go before you're even seen. My appointment was 20 minutes ago and it hasn't started the slightest yet. No sense of urgency from the staff. Seems as though no one really knows/likes their jobs and the managers are playing hide n seek with the entire shift. I wish I worked here so I could get paid for doing nothing. This experience highlights how the appointment schedule is BS. What's the point of going through the hassle
I'm writing to share my experience during a recent procedure at your facility in hopes that it leads to improved care for future patients. During the procedure, both of my arms were used for needle insertion. Unfortunately, both sites developed hematomas afterward, with the one on my right arm being particularly severe. The resulting pain has made it extremely difficult and uncomfortable to bend my arm, which has affected my ability to perform everyday tasks. I also observed that the staff's technique fel
I've never had an issue with anyone so far, thing always run smoothly with me so far but the only thing I DO NOT LIKE AT ALL is how long it takes to get paid out if you donate later in the day. I went to donate yesterday and left around 7pm 5/27/25 and it is now 7:25am 5/28/25 and I still haven't gotten paid. This is ridiculous and this needs to be fixed? It's 10:30pm 5/28/25 and I still haven't gotten paid. What's worse, THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES!!
Went in as usual and their computer froze messing up my last question on their questionnaire. At other centers they just check your answers and correct it asap. Not here. You will be made to see a nurse for a IT problem that is not your fault. Thank you so much for the long and I mean long silly wait. Thank god you put your donor?s ?time? first. I recommend going elsewhere where they will not just ignore you and waste your time.
Majority of staff is friendly and informative. Relaxed environment, and they play good tunes. (Only ever had a bad experience with the phlebotomist who wears glasses and a bandana. You don't want him sticking you with a needle.)
This use to be a great place to donate, but since they changed machines and they try to get more plasma without giving anymore compensation it takes way longer. With all this the management makes you fill like it is your fault. I was deferred from answering my questions, only for the manager to tell me I need to eat better and stay hydrated. I drink water all day long and eat salads the day before. Also had a manager come up to the machine while getting a high return only to be told that I must have thick b
So I have this young lady who sticks me at your location. Her name is karla Soto. She has a great sense of humor always very kind and polite. Also, when she sticks me her stick is the best that I've ever had a mosquito hurts more when he bites me. Also, she already has my ID number remembered when she sticks me. It's so smooth and I have a lot of scar tissue built up somehow she knows how to get around it without me feeling anything
since go here my very fist day it was a wonderful experience specially when Karla And Linda... they are one of the most sympathetic girls that ive known so far and have alot of experience on what they are doing i really like them alot when i come donate, they are always smiling making donors feel like home.
This center is slow time consuming and a complete waste. Refuse to answer the phone at all. They wants Dr sign offs for EVERYTHING. I was also not asked if I could be trained on during the nurse visitation for the questionnaire with a lady who was rather not educated in ANY medications couldn't understand me, type out what I was spelling to her and had a heavy accent that I could barely understand what she was asking me about. The annoyance of this company was beyond me. No other centers require specific th
What a better way to help others while making some profit. Staff is kind and willing to help you. They speak both English and Spanish.
Update: The service has improved tremendously since my first visit. The environment remains friendly, but now it feels much more professional. While there's still lighthearted banter among the staff, it's no longer a distraction?it actually adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was kind, professional, and more than willing to answer my questions. I was in and out in record time during my last visit, and I couldn't be more pleased. This feels like it's a training clinic. While they were taking my vital
Very Professional and Very Good Attitude, ALL OF THE Workers Have a great Attitude.
They don't change gloves in between screening people. I asked about that and was told they don't have to change their gloves unless they actually see blood on them. Guys your grabbing gauze and sticking people's fingers. Typing and touching the same computer.
Definitely the better option in SA if you are looking to donate! The pay is good and smooth process each and every time. BUT there are a number of employees and it's always the more Senior level people who been there a while who just gossip non stop and always distract the other people from getting vitals or starting machines.
Every single staff member was courteous. They all took the time to engage in a little small talk while performing their tasks efficiently. It was a better experience than I've had at several different plasma centers.
your staff taking vitals in the front are very unprofessional by talking to each other instead of taking their job and especially the donors time. They talk about what they gonna eat, where did they go for lunch, what they are gonna do that night or for the weekend. That is very unprofessional of them and have to be trained better.
Faculty and facility are good and clean. What isn't great is the amount of time people sometimes wait to donate. Sometimes lines are so long, inside the building, and people spend multiple hours waiting trying to donate. Defeats the purpose of an appointment and sometimes isn't worth waiting. I've walked out several times due to the lack of personnel available to assist with donations.
I love the employees and all but the coupons are not acceptable because of you don't sign up for them they compensate you correctly. And they should provide donors with a squeeze ball with their logo it would be good for their business as well as for the donors.
while being 66 i yesterday went to biolife and went thru the process of a new donor which took hours of wait.. At the new donor physical step only to be told and given this paper to take to the dr too sign off on.. What a rip off .. If i wanna give plasma why dont they change these old requirements so today being 5/30/25 i was able to see a dr to get the paper signed. hopefully this will not result in something when i reschedule
I donate using the same arm. Never able to use my right arm over my left, so it causes problems with the stick sometimes. Yet the homie Rex can get it done without you even noticing he finished the process. For a guy who hates needles it's a blessing ????
Great service and experience here at the San Antonio location. Also Jessica and Isaac are phenomenal. They are the only ones that can stick my tiny veins and they always make me feel warm and welcome. Give them a raise??
Part 3- From a one to a five-I give credit to where it's due and BioLife Plasma San Antonio came through. Ronnie, the manager followed up with a call, apologized, showed empathy, and most importantly took ownership of what had occurred earlier in the morning. Very much appreciated the phone call. Many people, believe it or not, donate as a way of giving back and trying to help in one way or the other, not merely for the donation, but as a way of giving a little back. Ronnie understood that and empathized w
All ?Red Dot Staffers? skills are not equal. At my last visit, I again had 2 Red Dotters attempt to stick me and get a good line, but were unsuccessful in 2 veins. I have to request certain staffers who have proven to be great phlebotomists.
Everyone is always very nice and professional. I just want them to fix the issue I have to deal with every time and that is someone with my last name, last 5 of my social security number is donating blood as well so EVERY TIME I have to pulled out of line and have the supervisor clear so I can donate plasma. It waste anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes sometimes more. Please fix this ASAP! Thank you
I've been donating at this location for over a year and things are a lot smoother and quicker. They've hired more phlebotomist and smoothed out the process. I'm a happy donor and am grateful for the great service.
I was so nervous to come in and donate but i?m glad i did! they made my first donation experience so smooth! every staff member i interacted with was super sweet and helpful, i definetly plan to continue donating here!
Ive had two bad experiences at Biolife on 410 n Military area. Its the Same person both times. First time she was in a bad mood cus she was feeling sick n they wouldn't let get her go home. She actually looked mad. She was getting ready to stick me n i told her to calm down take a deep breath cus i didnt want her to hurt me. Yesterday as I n two other donors walked in there to donate, there was 3 empty computers that new donors use n 1 empty one on the opposite side. There was 2 ppl in the front talking to
Terrible experience. The tech at the san antonio location was not listening to me about the needle being in my arm correctly and sat there to argue with me about it and told me she knows how to do her job. She ended up blowing my vien. I knew it wasn't in correctly and she did a terrible job listening.
Had an issue with some tattoos that I completely forgot about. Nurse ensued up denying me. Talked to the manager and she said she was going to dispute the denial. I've called multiple times and no answer. Left a voicemail and no answer.
I've been here several times with no problems, but I came here a few weeks ago and noticed an employee blatantly ignoring the safety procedures. I was in my own little world as I waited in line to get my vitals checked. Blank stares into space, but aware enough to notice that someone getting their vitals checked before me had gotten up, which meant it was my turn soon. I was in my own world for a few more seconds but blankly scanning the room with my eyes and ended up making eye contact with Biolife employe
Staff is great , ?? it's jus such an inconvenience to go donate plasma and not receive your compensation, I donated yesterday Tuesday@ 4:20 got out at 6pm , and never got it in my card, they've been having issues with the system, it's Wednesday afternoon n I still have not yet received my compensation so I decided to cancel my Thursday appointment, however besides the system n compensation being delayed the staff are amazing ????
I have to say normally I have a pleasant experiences here but today when I was getting my vitals and getting my finger poked. As I was getting my finger poked I felt like the guy barely pushed any pressure on it which caused it to not pierce. I was extremely upset because he deferred me because of poking my finger twice. I drink a lot of water and donate within 30 to 40 minutes. This is the first time I've ever been deferred for something like this. I feel like on my end it was not my fault. As I'm staying
Not at all?. I ask for a red dot person, and this person didn't seem qualified as she ( Linda) bruised me ?.. she said maybe you were eating spicy food or didn't hydrate?. Totally false statement by her? I an certain I was hydrated and ate a proper foods. ? she needs more training in this field
I recently visited the BioLife Plasma Donation Center and had an amazing experience thanks to Paul. I had a previous issue where a coworker had messed up a needle insertion in my vein. Paul stepped in and fixed it effortlessly. He was incredibly professional, gentle, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. His expertise definitely calmed me down when I was too scared to speak up for myself ! Thank you :)
I never have any problems at this place but today some guy working there by the name of Bryson had some nasty attitude. He even laughed in an ugly way with direction when he could've easily just asked me nicely. Nothing but attitude and discomfort. I had to stay patient while he was sighing and smirking in annoyance. Anyways everyone else is was cool.
It's been a year since I donated at the Loop 410 location in SA. Very impressed that Kayla the manager is helping to screen, even though there are 5 other screeners. She is setting a good example, with her friendly approach and helping to keep the line moving quickly. Jen gave me a perfect needle stick and is efficiently managing her 6 beds. She also wasted no time to disconnect me. I wish the Columbus, OH location could be better staffed like Loop 410. Of course it doesn't help that Col went from 36 beds
Admin still suck at picking up the phone and alerting you to deals. However the techs are pretty nice and good at what they do. Jessica is definitely the best tech there, a super pro at sticking, I never feel it go in. She is also funny and sweet which definitely makes it better. I'd ask for her if urs your first time and are nervous, she'll make the experience pleasant
Was told I couldn't donate after they saw a bruise on my arm. They told me straight up I look like I'm using drugs. Smh, I've always been clean. They have junkies in and out of there with open wounds. You can tell who's a junkie and yall deny me? I just got laid off and need some money to keep me and my family going. How ugly of them to try and say I'm on drugs, when I clearly look cleaned up.
My experiences here have all been very pleasant but the wait times are a good bit longer than other locations. I had a weird glitch happen bc I started my questions a bit too early but the manager Omar did everything he could to help me fix the issue. He was great and seemed to prioritize my issue and even gave me some extra compensation while they sorted the issue. It took abt 3.5 hrs start to finish which is a while but it went smoothly.
Linda is the best she did everything right , and she's attentive to her job to satisfy her donors for whatever is needed she goes above and beyond
Man o Man, went for a 1st time donation. Was told they could not pass me through physical because of my Torus(bone growth in mouth) the soo called nurse did not know what it was. But my dr, dentist and etc have no issue, previous place I've donated had no issue. But a natural occurance of bone is an issue here where it has nothing to do with plasma donation what so ever. The sooo called nurse didn't even know what it was, which is also questionable as 30% of the world has it. After wasting 2 hours of my tim
Quick and easy way to make some extra money while also helping others! The staff are excellent and even when it's super busy they get you in and out really fast EDIT - Most of the negative reviews I'm seeing here are unwarranted. People need to realize that there are some things that are out of the employees control! If your heart rate is too high or someone doesn't give you Chick-fil-A levels of customer service, that's not a valid reason to complain and leave a negative review IMO. I've donated at all di
Horrible experience today! I went for my 3rd donation and a female named Lizette stuck me to begin the process to take the plasma. She looked tired and was shaking. She was wiggling the needle inside my vain! It hurt really bad ! I asked her to stop and that I no longer trusted her. Another tech named Leo (who does a great job) adjusted it. Unfortunately the damage was done. Another tech with blonde hair said she felt a hematoma, which is blood suffusion is a localized bleeding outside of blood vessels, due
Linda and Karla always awesome and very friendly this company should be glad they have them on there team
Originally I had a 1 star review, that being because I was told I had to eat something no less than 2 hours. That's on me and I shouldn't give a review based off of that. So stepping off my high horse I give them 3 stars. I don't understand why there isn't security here. I wasn't a complete jerk but I stepped out of line with unwarranted frustration. Some of these walk-ins were just rude. So I get why the staff isn't the friendliest. That's my honest review. Update, after sitting and waiting for a hour I wa
I was very please with the service, the tech who draw blood was very pacience explained all the process and Unice was the best, professional and with a smile, always, thanks to all the team.
Always the best here never had any negative experiences, the worst thing was an issue with payment I called admin didn't answer but it wasn't a priority at the moment I had things to do so I went about my day 10mins after I received a call back but couldn't make the phone they still left a msg addressing my concern .very acceptional services
Little wait time, professional staff, and decent payouts! I've been coming here for over 2 years. The staff is great, and they try to get you in and out. And the app makes scheduling appointments quick and convenient. (Only thing is they never answer the phone), ever lol.
In the beginning it took a little bit of time, but thankfully the process went quickly. Staff then placed me ahead of a few other people instead of me having to wait in the back of the line, and I really appreciated that since the line was super long. However some people that saw me being pushed up in the line seem a little disappointed the person behind me even happened to make a noise. I think it would be great for the same process to happen for newbies but for the representatives to say they've been here
They cancelled my appointment for an unknown reason;I got a voicemail to call them regarding this, and none ever answers the phone, Noone ever returns a voice mail. The app says to call. But none answers and no one ever calls back.
This place has gone downhill! The staff is obviously tired and miserable. They watch you get in a bed and continue talking in a group . They don't care to help in ANY WAY , SHAPE , or FORM. They lie on the amount they are paying out . It's not $100 each visit . They also don't have an app for their questionnaire. So it takes longer on the computer. Then you have to get your questions checked . Then stand in a long line where there's basically no room for a line . Then once you finally get up to vitals they
If you make appointments before work in the morning, expect to wait at least 20-30 min after that time before you start. They flood the system with ?appointments? without having the personnel to cover them. I have never been seen on time in the morning. Definitely a ?I had nothing else to do so can take my time? location.
I have to say when I went on September 1st 2024 my appointment was at 7:50 in the morning and the person that did my vitals was not a very nice person. She was very cold very blunt like a robot didn't even say good morning didn't smile and did not show any kind of personality how she got the job there I don't know but I have to say my phlebotomist was amazing she did such an amazing job I wish I could remember her name but I'm more than sure they can look it up. She was so fun to talk to so amazing on my st
I would like to commend all the staff at Biolife facility on Lp 410 & Military for their dedication, friendliness,. I have so far, good experiences, donating plasma.
The establishment is very clean, very sanitized, a comfortable friendly environment, as well as efficient and the employees are all amazing
The service was the worst I have ever seen it. Standing/seating aloud me the opportunity to observe the staff while i waited to be tended to. For the hour and a half i was waiting. The nurse that was supposed to be doing something other than laughing walking around with other staff talking about personal life events, had something better to do. Not to mention the young lady at the front desk, looking as if she did not want to be there. when I was finally able to get a bed. I was blessed enough to get
Waste of time. Won't tell you if you need a physical before you donate. Won't let you donate if you have allergies. Wasted my time
They had me waiting in a bed for 35 minutes, while these phlebotomists were dancing and singing along to songs . There was people who sat after me in different areas leaving before they even hooked me up. I didn't leave until 2 hours later.
Was a member of a different donation center decided to give BioLife a try hoping it would be better but it wasn't The place is nice and everything is new but the people inside are rude I was interrogated as if I stole something because I didn't understand that you had to follow the same schedule as your last donation facility I was put in an office and accused of trying to get one over on the facility then when I try to return for my second donation they deferred me so no I have no facility to donate at whi
Thankfully never have donated here. Have been trying to call for several days now to look into becoming a donor & had questions I wanted answers to before I made that decision. Unfortunately every time I call, someone answers & hangs up the phone right away. I've even left messages like it's told me to & no one?s reached back out. Decided to check the reviews thinking maybe I'm the only one this is happening to. Shocked to see how horrible these employees treat their donors & how terrible their experiences
At first I thought it was cool how it was by appointment. Now that I've been coming for about 3 months I'm starting to dislike this place. The restrooms are always filthy. Pee everywhere, hardly ever any toilet paper. Once you get a bed, majority of the time your waiting for another 30 mins. They have one person to each pod to hook up and disconnect. Then once done your waiting another 20 to 30 mins to get disconnected. The pay isn't that great either. I was told better things about this place. There are no
I wanted to make sure my review was seen. I had an incredible experience at this location thanks to Milagros! I've been to others but visiting this one, she made the entire experience amazing! She has perfect bedside manner and was great at communicating. Incredibly sweet and professional, she was efficient across the board and when it came to the needle I felt no pain whatsoever. Clearly very skilled at what she does! I hope the company recognizes what a great asset she is to the team and rewards her effor
Appointment at 6:05. Got finally put in chair at 7:15, at 8 pm still sitting in a chair in a section with 6 people and only one had line put in.... Over 45 mins in a seat and still sitting here waiting with 5 other people ?? Ridiculous. 15 mins later still sitting here. Patients getting up and walking out while other employees claim they aren't floating and can't cover or help....this is the worst visit I have ever had and I frequently donate.
This is my 3rd time donating and the 1st time was great, perfect even. The 2nd time they forgot about me and I was waiting over 30 mins on top of the hour wait just to get seen because they accidentally erased my name from their expo marker board. Now my appointment was at 1:35pm today. I got here a lil late less than 5 mins due to traffic but I didn't think much of it so 1:40 was when I was in line. I had a question so I waited in line to talk to the blonde receptionist in a bun for about another 6 mins sin
No one ever answers the phone. And it like every one is in there own little world. Instead of focusing on the job . Screenshot all the appointments. If you want to donate here. Donated for the same company in Arizona California. They were more professional than the one here in San Antonio Texas
The staff is great but the location had no music playing. The environment feels dull
It's definitely worthwhile to donate plasma! It helps others and provides some supplement for my family. I take better care of my health, too, so that I will pass screening. Sometimes there is a wait, but donors are only free to leave if they need to. I've never had a complication being hooked up, and once lying down, it's actually a nice break getting to sit still for a little while! It's tempting to doze off, but people can read, watch their phone, listen to music, or observe the funny banter and good com
I've been coming here for a few months now and by far the best customer service has come from Savannah. Always a smile on her face, is genuinely intrigued with conversation, just an all around can-do attitude! Thank you, Savannah for always making my visits a good time!
I haven't had the pleasure of coming here yet only because the reviews for this place are so bad.. every time I muster up the courage to decide I'm gonna switch from the Pat Booker location bc The drive is too far, I end up, just closing the app and deciding to go another time, which never comes? it looks like I'm just gonna have to stop giving plasma entirely. These reviews, Bio life, are really keeping people from coming to your establishments. From what it looks like your Staff needs to be trained way be
Alyssa does amazing she get me all the time!
Well in the section i went to, she was very slow had no pep in her step, never acknowledged me, never said a word. She wore how she really felt on her face. And i told her i was a phlebotomist before and where my vein was and she ignored that. I told her it was right under my skin that she didnt have to go in deep and she did anyway and then to top it off she assaulted my arm by adusting it and went in deeper and turning it. And then too top it off she said we wont pay you if i dont try the other arm.
Some of the phlebotomists are nice and accommodating, but I'm not sure if it's because they are understaffed and overworked as each time I go even though it's by appointment you're left waiting for a while on the beds before anyone actually comes and sticks you. There was a gentleman laid next to me just today who waited an hour to be seen. Not to mention the past few times I went I left not being able to donate because my vein was blown out. I had come originally because of the first 8 donation promo and a
Since I've been coming here I usually have great experiences with staff, but I'm not sure what happened today. The women who did my vitals her name is Savannah, I noticed her not only be rude to me but to other donors. She was very curt, she didn't speak with donors she would signal with her hands, eyes, and head to get donors attention, but had no problem speaking with the another employee about people that she deemed ugly or fat, she was very unprofessional and rude. Maybe Savannah needs to get another ro
Doesn't tell anyone when their payment system is down. Takes upwards of 3 hours. Avoid this place.
This place is terrible, so unprofessional. The staff all of them are confused. They don't know all the any of the same information. It was my first time donating the first time they couldn't find veins.I was there 4 hours Just. To be told no they couldn't find the vein and to go home.Didn't receive anything. Then the second time I was there.I had to use the bathroom they all said I would still get the 90$ but I only got 20$ The worst experience of my life
I'm grateful there are people in there that truly care about us and that we have a great experiences
Every department is slow. Always a skelton crew. It's always something each visit. Step up to the game and get more staff!!
So I went to go, try to donate within 2 years, since I haven't been there, and my appointment was at 7:50 at 8:45 the nurse tells me I can't donate because I didn't understand a question, worst freaking place, I've ever been at you make a person wait a whole hour just to tell them that they cannot donate ridiculous over a question... It's bad enough that we have to wait weeks before we get in to this place because they only go by appointments first, but for somebody to tell you, you can't donate after you'v
The 3rd time I donated they pinched me both arms and splashed me on my blood when trying to change the needle to the other arm while my arm was still being tight by the machine (which they were supposed to know that would happen). The 4th time I went to donate after 9 daya they didnt allow me because of the brusing they caused to that arm, so they make me waste my time ans money on gas!!
So far, I've had an excellent experience and staff is exceptional.
Very slow. Usually takes 2.5hrs upon walking in the door. Have no idea why they have you schedule appointments. You're sitting in the chair for 45min waiting for someone to hook you up. Makes zero sense and is very inefficient. CSL Plasma is much quicker and takes 1.5hrs, assuming it's not crazy packed.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
