I've been donating at the BioLife Plasma Center in San Marcos for a few months now, and overall, it's been a positive experience. The facility is clean, modern, and well-organized, which makes the process feel safe and professional. Most of the staff are friendly and efficient, and they usually get me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. There have been a couple of visits where the wait was a bit longer than expected, even with an appointment, but I understand it can get busy. I do appreciate how the

I love the staff here. They are all professional and caring. Daniel is awesome when I come early in the mornings. Great small talk when I'm getting hooked up to the machine. Rosa is also really great as well. Obviously when you schedule in the afternoon the wait times may be longer which is why I prefer going early in the morning. Been coming here for about 2 years. Just make sure you eat good Whole Foods and clean protein and make sure you drink 120 oz of water the day before to keep yourself hydrated.

I enjoy going to this location. I've gone twice a week for the past 4 months. I can appreciate that it's always been very clean. The majority of members have been kind and helpful with any of my questions and concerns. One staff member that stands out is Daniel. He's very personable and friendly. He greets people by name while we're waiting in line or walking to our lounge chair. Donating plasma can be a bit of a robotic experience moving from one station to the next. Daniel just makes the donation experien

I love this place because it is an easy way to get quick cash for the things my family needs. The environment is peaceful and relaxing, and the staff members are great. When you first go, bring ID, birth certificate, and SSN card. You will receive a debit mastercart. And every time you donate it gets loaded. Sweet !! You will get to know the people there and eventually you'll feel like family. If you donate regularly it's like giving yourself a pay raise because the added income is noticeable! Drink water an

Staff is great, friendly, knowledgeable. I set my appointment and pretty much always right and out. Unlike the Vista location, which can take up 2-3 hours of your day and time. James the manager is absolutely amazing he's always out on the floor seeing that the operations are running smoothly. They amount of monies they pay is far lower then other places. Because when you look up how much a 1000 ml of plasma is worth. It's value is between 3000.00 - 40000.00 for 1000ml's of plasma. Sincerely ESQ Steven Smit

I've been coming here for a while, have not had a bad experience yet. From the initial front desk, through the completion of my donation, has been smooth sailing. I see them all working together and I love their outgoing, friendly personalities. In talking with the donors as we wait, many have come from other centers because of the care and handling here that cannot be compared to others.

Was nervous to donate at so many donations centers because I read a lot of reviews that weren't great.. but this donation center was amazing! Had 4 donations already! They're really welcoming. Staff was nice as well as professional. Gave me snacks, water, and a squeeze toy the first appointment! Center was clean and organize, even the restrooms. Lots of clear signage which was appreciated. Especially as a new donor, I'd recommend this place (since they give you a first, second, third time donor card, so the

I had a very disappointing experience as a new customer at Bioplasma in San Marcos. I was made to wait over 45 minutes in the waiting room without being asked to fill out any questionnaires, which felt unprofessional and unorganized. I walked out, I was not expecting to stay this long. I value my time. This delay alone wasted over an hour of my time, and there was little to no communication from the staff about the wait. The employees were not helpful or welcoming, which made the entire visit uncomfortable

My experience here has been very pleasant, especially when I end up in Paul?s section!! He is quick, courteous, efficient and always moving at 100mph! ?? He also helps out anyone and anywhere he can to make the donation process run as smoothly as possible. He is always one step ahead of the game and I appreciate him so much!

I come here 2x week and I always have the pleasure of seeing Berenice and Paul. Berenice is always very kind to me and today she made me laugh and smile, which meant a lot to me since I was having a bad day. And Paul was fabulous as always, giving a good poke and positive attitude. Thank you both!

The staff is generally nice, but I dealt with a not very pleasant lady, her name is Paige, who barely spoke to me. Marisol is very adorable and friendly!!

I've been coming to this location for about 1.5 years now. I can say the staff has been really nice. I will start off by the first face I usually see her name is Stacy she's always so welcoming and greets you right when you enter that door I like how she easily transfers that positive energy. Also in the donation area Paul, Octavio, and Vianey are always so nice and polite making sure our donation is going smooth. So far is the only location I've been too. And I like it

Pretty much every one who works here is awesome! Vianey, Jaylen, Paul, Yesnia, Shauntae to name a few (there are more) are especially amazing. They are always really professional and friendly including being really good at what they do!

They make many odd and arbitrary barriers to donating plasma that I have not experienced with another major company. They have no way of making an appointment unless you have an app and appointment is required to donate. I walked in and name an on the spot appointment, but once I was called I was pulled aside and asked to speak to a nurse who showed me a lab result from a donation 3 weeks earlier that said one of my blood protein markers was a 0.1% low making me ineligible to donate until I submit one more

I recently visited this center and my experience with the staff was deeply disappointing. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that customer care was not a priority. The staff were not only unfriendly but also seemed outright annoyed by my presence, treating basic inquiries as an inconvenience. There was a noticeable lack of professionalism. Instead of welcoming me or offering assistance, they responded with curt, dismissive answers. In fact, at times, their behavior bordered on aggressive and making me

My experience here was unforgettable! Joyce and Marisol are 2 of my favorite techs. They made me instantly feel comfortable and at home. I am tell everyone I know to come and donate plasma because not only is it helping people, but the staff make you feel supported as you support others. Thank You! Will definitely return.

Unfortunately it seems that much of the Customer Service (which takes no extra time or money) is gone from the San Marcos location now too. We stopped going to the Vista location because they were often rude/gruff/terse, and everyone used to be really friendly at San Marcos, but not as much now :-( I think everyone is overworked and underappreciated, because even the people who used to be really nice are just quiet and look beat down now. I will still keep going, because I need the money and I like doing g

Don't come here!!! Absolute worst biolife in San Diego and i?ve been to them all. Stacy is actually the worst employee i?ve came across and i?ve worked in retail for a few years. She is the reason this place sucks! I had an appointment and i had the email verification with my name on it, and she told me that it doesn't matter since my appointment is not in the system and was saying it's my fault i?m ?late? to my appointment but i was on time and it just took a while to get that situated when at the end she

I've been going tho biolife plasma for about 6 months in san marcos, and usually they have trouble finding my vein, but marisol from Bio life is an amazing persons she got it on the first try and she's very professional and makes me feel comfortable. Her sticks are painless.

I've had a wonderful experience donating at BioLife San Marcos! I've donated a few times now, and each visit has been smooth and positive. The staff is incredibly kind and professional, always making sure donors feel comfortable. A special shoutout to Kass and Stacy, who helped me when I was brand new. They were patient, friendly, and took the time to explain the process, which made a huge difference. I also have to mention Nicole?she's so personable and fun to chat with! She always brightens my day and ma

I've been donating at Biolife San Marcos for over 3 years now. It's always been great. All staff members are very friendly and caring. Would recommend to anyone that has been thinking about donating.

The San Marcos site is the only site I will go to. Everyone there is pleasant and professional, making the experience such that one looks forward to coming back. I've come to know many of the staff by name, and it would take too long to praise you all. James and Stacy, thank you for running an efficient and effective place. ????

This place is awesome , Rosa is spectacular. Greeting me always as she spots me. Chatting while getting ready to donate. If there was option of 10 stars, I would give it to her?

I've had nothing but positive experiences here at the San Marcos location ! Staff here is excellent, personable & friendly ! I'm learning a lot of the staff people's names & Paul is always a positive figure here when coming in for donation. I highly recommend coming here !!

Paul is incredible he always makes me feel so welcome, and not to mention he's a skilled phlebotomist making my experience that much better!

I've been donating for the last year and each time I go the facility is clean, the staff are welcoming and friendly! Huge shout out to Paul he's always friendly and makes sure the person donating comfortable!

My experience with BioLife San Marcos location. Has been fantastic they treat their clients with five star care. Making sure are donations goes smoothly and comfortable as possible

Always have a good experience since the moment I walk in greeted by Berenice. Also the staff in the back Is awesome Octavio and Marisol are great.

Stacy is always so friendly and helpful. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is being taken care of in a timely and friendly manner! The whole team is awesome!!

I've been donating at this location for about 3 years now. Everyone is so friendly, I would have to say Paul is my favorite. Makes me comfortable he knows what he's doing.

Horrible company. I was kicked out of the program and treated poorly because I suggested someone?s perfume made me sneeze. Meanwhile the rough people who go in there are no problem. Dishonest marketing. I received 2 hematomas in only 4 donations! Editing this to say your auto response is garbage. I already submitted that form days ago with no response. I also want guidance on purging my personal medical information from the system. Respond!

First time trying to donate and I get Horrible customer service, I got falsely accused and ?deferred? over a stench of marijuana which I did not have any on me nor in my system, all because of the employees stated it was ?too strong? however, more than 10 donors in the building and they just so happen to say this was me? This is crazy and unacceptable, I felt attacked and discriminated. I'm not sure if it's because I have visible tattoos or the way I look but I was very disappointed and will be looking more

during my second donation tech daniel was too busy talking, poked through my vein different tech had to assist on other arm. pain swelling finger twitching developed. during my visit asked to speak to supervisor and i saw him across the room looking in my direction and he declined. was directed to a prentious and rude old nurse who reminded me that I volunteered and downplayed the issue. same nurse during first visit within earshot of other donors was complaning about her workload, delayed break, and distra

This center has the most friendly workers who show their genuine care for us donors every time we come! Always enjoy coming here and especially today, Tanya helped me with one of the most pain free sticks I've had in a while. I've been coming here weekly for over a year and the super stars that make me want to come back again and again are Octavio, Carla, Daniel, Paul, Angela, Jose, Yesenia, Jalen, Raquel, Sydney, Mia, Alexis, Kim, Maurene, Shauntae, & Maggie. Oh and John is the absolute best manager I've

Paul always does a great job! Nice people here. The staff is always fast and looks out for me.

I've been donating plasma here for a while now, and I have to say it's been an incredibly positive experience. The staff are always welcoming, professional, and make sure I'm comfortable throughout the process. They take the time to explain everything, answer any questions I have, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed carefully. The facility is clean and well-organized, which makes each visit smooth and efficient. I love that my donations can help save lives, and it's rewarding to know that I'm

This BioLife location has some of the nicest and professional staff. Paul is my favorite, always fast, attentive, and the needle pokes are painless.

Paul was awesome! He was friendly and efficient and made the donation process comfortable. Thank you Paul!!

Great location! I always enjoy being helped by Daniel. He is very attentive to making your donation smooth as possible.

The evening shift team is a complete joke. Every time I donate during the week, the night team constantly takes advantage of people?s patience. They are talking and whispering to themselves while they have donors waiting to donate. They take their sweet time setting up the machines. And take longer to prep the donors. I've tried to keep this to myself, but tonight was the worst. 7 donors came to the beds at different times, and we were all just waiting for the young girls and the lead shift (Octo and he's a

I have never seen a employee more miserable and rude than Lisa her condescending, snarky and rude attitude for absolutely no reason, she ruins you're whole experience, multiple people have left reviews regarding her terrible behavior so I'm not the only one . Bio life needs to do something about her she clearly hates her job and it's having a negative impact on the whole facility

Great staff who treat you respectfully and create a welcoming experience. Techs were professionals and ensured a smooth donation without issue. Inclined to go out of my way to visit this location more often!

??BioLife San Marcos location facility is clean and well-organized and the staff is friendly love when I come in and I see Miss Lisa one of my favorites. I will definitely recommend this place ?? ?? ??

The San Marcos location is always busy and even busier on Mondays. I don't recommend coming on Mondays at all. The staff are usually moody and not very nice. A couple of them are, but that's only if you're lucky enough and get the good ones. With my experience, I have had an overall not so great time. This recent time in particular, I had to wait 15 plus minutes to be unhooked from the machine when the person next to me was unhooked before me even though I was done before him. Three employees came over to t

A few months ago, I would have easily given this facility 5 stars. However, over the past two months, I've noticed a significant increase in wait times and overall inefficiency. If you schedule an appointment for 10:30 and arrive 10 minutes early, it shouldn't take 1.5 hours just to get started. Unfortunately, this has become a frequent occurrence. From what I've observed, this seems to be a result of managerial ineffectiveness. The staff on the floor appear to be operating independently rather than workin

Those girls up front know what they are doing. I saw them deal with many different types of people in a few hour period and they did it with efficiency and grace. Thanks.

Very happy with BioLife glad I found this place, was my first reaction but I'm afraid I won't be returning some people here are culturally blind and no one seems to be at fault so I'm just going to end my attendance here maybe remember that southern California is filled with native Americans and our culture matters too. ?? ??

Great experience overall, at least better than the neighboring Biolife I've been before. I would highly recommend this location.

Every thing was great. Awesome first visit. Makayla was very kind and professional. Be back soon. Thanks??

All the staff were great and informative during my first time here. Highly recommended!

I've only been to the San Marcos location and there the staff has always been very helpful and friendly to talk to and sometimes I forget that I am even doing a donation because they make me feel at ease. I want to give a big shout out to Ricky, Eduardo, Shayla, Joselito, Tania, Rosa, Paul, Jaylen and Genesis for being just all around awesome people with great attitudes. The small needle poke is the worst part of a truly great experience. ????

Paul was great!! Made the whole process easy, painless and fast. Super friendly as well!!!

I love the staff. Everyone is always friendly, professional, and nice.

Really great place! I donate here instead the other locations because of how much faster, friendlier, and clean this place is, plus they always make me feel like a priority!

Love the team at San Marcos! Daniel, Ocho, the future Mrs. Nieman, and all the rest of the team is incredible! You show up as a client and leave as a friend! They are so kind, caring, compassionate, and fun!! Wouldn't want to go anywhere else!!!

I'd like to start off by saying the staff that are checking your vitals, as well well as the ones getting you started on donating after you get a chair are amazing! They are always so kind and make you feel welcomed. However, there was a woman at the front desk this afternoon that I'm not a huge fan of. (I believe her name is Stacy) I walked into BioLife ending a phone call with my child?s doctor. I even gave a quick pause before walking to the booths where you complete the questionnaires because he was sti

Please do not EVER go here. They are UNPROFESSIONAL at Best and pick by race who they serve. I would not ever recommend any person Go to this location or to be helped by this staff. Unprofessional rude and have no respect.

Paul is always friendly and very helpful when I had questions he had the answer. And very gentle

I went to San Marcos to donate only to be turned down because I was told I needed an SNN. I told them I checked on their page and it said you don't need one as long as you bring 2 forms of IDs. I brought my passport and my visa laser (which does have a number) and they told me they couldn't do it. Why put those as requisites if you're not gonna accept it on the spot then? Such a waste of time driving there.

Very clean facility, friendly & caring staff. When I am donating it also gives me some downtime to relax. Every staff member I come into contact with always has something nice to say and they get to know patients very well. Even remember you by your name when you are a regular. They always follow all the rules and regulations to keep you safe & make your experience as pleasant as possible. I would highly recommend this facility if you're thinking about donating plasma.

My first visit over 3 months ago I was a little timid... nervous. Now? Now I have such lovely peaceful experiences with everyone who works at this facility; They ARE friendly, smiling, most importantly--professional. Eventually, most of them (phlebotomists) began calling me by my first name and with a smile. I cannot say enough positive about everything about BioLife. Finally: cleanliness...very important and they stay on top of it. (I DO have prior, not so great experiences at other companies) So there...l

This was my second time donating, and the woman on duty, Stacy, was very rude and unwelcoming. I had made an error in the check-in process, so I got in line to seek help. She snapped at me as if I were a child and said, "Next time, you have to come to this area if it says to see a nurse." It was only my second time there, so I tried to explain, but she cut me off in a snarky way, saying, "For next time!" She then handed me an orange card to meet with the nurse without any instructions, yelling, "You have to

I been donating plasma for a year in this location, and everyone here has been amazing. Can't name everyone by name but they are very professional and try to make your donation as safe and quick as they can.

The staff are great! I was in and out within an hour! However, they have some goofy rules! Due to the shortage of saline we're forced to drink electrolytes. But you shouldn't be forced to drink something that you don't want to drink!! Just saying!

Always a pleasant experience and lots of smiles. The staff at San Marcos are very friendly, welcoming and efficient. They are very attentive to your needs and always walk you through the process in a patient manner answering all questions that you have. Definitely recommend the San Marcos team if you are considering donating.

I've never written a review before but for this place?.i needed to say something. The facility itself is very clean and organized?BUT the people are absolutely horrific. So rude, don't care about you, they look at you like you're a number. Very aggressive with the way they do their process. When you ask them a question, they make you feel like an idiot. You try and mention something wrong and they automatically think you're crazy and invalidate the way you feel or think. Everyone in there looks so miserable

Most of the people here unfortunately suck, but there are a couple of employees who are really awesome. You can tell who was meant to work in this field and who was not? some employees are so rough when injecting the needle and most of them are so rude for no reason. Disappointing for sure. I just come here to make extra money but you can tell a lot of people are miserable working here.

This facility is amazing. The staff is always pleasant and professional. The manager Stacy always goes above and beyond to make their patients feel comfortable. I highly recommend and I will be returning soon.

Staff is always kind, Paul makes the experience great smoothly

Very inconsistent in communication between nurses on duty. Inconsistent test results when being signed to donate.

I'm pretty easy going however lady in the front was so passive aggressive. Very unwelcoming. And had a ?what u want? kind of attitude. I could tell she may be having an off day. I'm very empathetic towards people but maybe she needs some time off. She did say she was the manager which is VERY surprising lol. Tone of voice could have been better. Seemed like she was atomically on defense mode which I understand having worked in healthcare for years but I won't be coming back to this location! Also instructi

They tell you the process takes 2 hours, sure each of the 6 steps add up to 125 minutes, but with an appointment I waited 45 min from check in just to step 1 intake info, then another 15 for step 2 vitals. That quiz is unnecessarily long. I had to leave at 2 hour mark and I hadn't even had the predonation exam yet, there was another guy who was half hour ahead of me still waiting for his. When leaving I was told I should have planned for 3+ hours, ?sorry we're new? ok maybe but are you going to pay extra fo

Consistently overbooked and never fully staffed. The staff has a huge entitlement issue and zero customer service. Plenty of other plasma services to treat people the way they do. Do yourself a favor and find another center.

Great staff! Octavio was great at saving my draw!!

It's a great location to donate plasma, Paul is amazing and friendly and this is my favorite Biolife location.

Great location. Very clean and staff is always friendly. They make the process quick and easy. Shout out to the OGs Carla, Octavio and Paul! I've never had a bad experience here. Everyone is really professional and good at what they do. Even when it's busy the staff always takes the time to ask how your doing and just generally make sure you're comfortable.

Paul and Kayla are great and I appreciated their help with my donation

Staff was friendly and professional. Made it easy to donate

I was there on 09/21/24, I got processed and was assigned to the blue section. I noticed one particular employee working that section that causes more than usual pain when he puts the needle in so I just asked to go to another section and was denied. I got to the blue section and the employee that I was trying to avoid attended to me without incident until I was finished and he took out my needle. When he took it out I got a pain shooting through my arm down to my finger tips. When I said ?hey?! He asked wh

The employees are great. I appreciate the excellent customer service. I've been able to donate in record time. Thank you!
