Tru is very disrespectful and has a very nasty attitude with her clients. She seems to not like her job. I came at 7 pm and she didn't want to see me because that is the time there closing but that was a option on the app. Most of the time they can't even get the needle in you right leaving bruising because of their staff not being able to put the needle in right. Whenever I come I also see other clients having problems with their needle. I also came another day around 6 and this one African American will s
This place is becoming trash! Well some employees make it that way! There is no way i should be knowing the company business! The person stuck me name is Alicia. She was telling someone that the manager is seating in the office doing nothing and need to be on the floor. She also said all the manager do is call out and leave early. As a donor i should not know this at all! And i really don't care to hear it. I wish there was another biolife near by. As a matter of fact I'm going to other center on white bluf
Honestly.. if you're able to go elsewhere I would recommend you do that. This would be my third week coming in a row just to waste my time. I came the first week and I got one donation in. Two days later, came back and the women left a bruise, took blood, and I was there for all of 30 minutes (15 being sitting for a vein check bc she took blood and my vein swelled up.) so couldn't do anything then. Came the next week, checked in for my appointment, sat and waited to go start before I was told I had to go ho
Staff are all very friendly, helpful and safe. I have not had any of the bad experiences I'm seeing listed. It can be busy at times, but everyone there is working to keep the lines flowing. The process can take different times for different people. Show a little patience to the people doing their job!
Slow as hell, always standing around talking about who didn't show up for work, who was late, what they gone eat for lunch. Walk right past a green light u will be waiting forever to get seen and/or unplugged. Staff could be a bit more welcoming and stop talking so damn much. We as donors should not know the business of the company and workers smh do better.
I like the center, I like the people in it. Everyone here is respectful and knowledgeable. I do think, however, the center has some room to grow. Probably not with the staff. The staff are great for the most part. The problem is the management of the facility needs some major work. I would go as far as saying the management is incompetent. The way they are scheduling donors is not working. I have had too many times where I've arrived at my donation time and I've had to wait an excessively long amount of tim
Marylin and Chrystal and Ursula were AMAZING! we're so nice and helpful and walked me through the process and was so kind towards me. Highly recommend! These girls made me feel so comfortable for my first donation
I tried to donate but due to my age and kidney function I was refused for my own safety. I did receive a survey in my email wanting me to rate them. ( Excellent on knowledge, friendliness and cleanliness) And said I'd receive a $25 gift card. That was before Christmas and haven't received anything yet.
Awesome place to donate. Kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy staff that make you feel valued for your contribution to saving lives. Friendly family-like staff go above & beyond to make your time as efficient as possible. I highly recommend this establishment.
The staff is very professional with the technical aspect of the donation. Although they could use some work on the hospitality side by explaining or even acknowledging a delay. Last time it took 90 minutes to get into the donation chair.
I've been donating for a year and a half, and I used to be in and out in 1-1.5 hours, but now my appointments take around 3 hours, with most of that time spent waiting in a long line to get vitals taken, then waiting over an hour to even get in a bed, then waiting even longer to actually get stuck and start the actual physical donation. They prioritize new donors and let them skip the line to the front, leaving dedicated returning donors who?ve been waiting patiently for hours to have to wait even longer. D
I sat here for 2 hours just for them to tell me i can't get it done because I have eczema. He told me to come back when it's gone but I've had it my whole life, so it's not going anywhere.
I waited 2 hours to be seen even though I had an appointment. Today the same thing happened. I had assumed It was a ratio thing but workers are standing around talking even after other patients have left and beds are cleaned.
The staff is great. Problem is there isn't enough staff. They all run around the whole time you are here. I can't always take 3 hours out of my day!
Way overbooked for the staff you have. More often than not I leave. Over hour wait to get into a chair is just ridiculous. 2 people working the floor. You need to not take so many appointments
Clean facilities, nice staff. Wait time is redic. Have to wait 60-90 minutes for a process that only takes 60 minutes! We
Most staff is friendly but lately my husband has been having bad experiences. One staff member made jokes about him being ashy, why is that a topic of discussion? Then once he was stuck for blood withdraw he told the older woman who stuck him that he was having pain she then said ? it's not going to kill you? what kind of professional is this? How could you tell a patient that is experiencing pain that it's not going to kill them? Why ask if everything is okay if this your response? Absolutely unacceptable.
Excellent staff! Very kind, and they do their job really well. My first visit was awesome, making jokes with the doctors and staff. They also take questions and concerns seriously. It is a long drive for me, since this is the closest facility and it's a 2 hr drive round trip from where I'm at in SC. Overall great experiences!
Piss poor management, lazy and untrained employees and no one here gives a crap. Find somewhere better because this place is a joke. You wait to donate and wait to get paid.
Staff are usually friendly and helpful. It would be nice if they were a little more efficient with time. I sometimes find myself behind others with later appointment times than my own because of the computer screening process. I have to be at work at 7:30 AM and its frustrating to have a 6:00 AM appointment and have to wait until almost 6:30 before I can start donating because the screening process is slow and machines are not prepped and ready
The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Dakota?s IVs are the best I've ever had. I don't even feel them go in and I never have pain while I wait. I've had hundreds of IVs (military) and I've never had one done so well constantly as hers. This location is also extremely clean at all times and a refreshing and welcoming environment that keeps me as well as others coming back every-time.
Have been 3 times and they were experiencing staffing issues. 5 minutes into interview nurse tells me I can't give because I have tattoos on the inside of my arms.
The wait time is so crazy and it shouldn't bee like this the Manger at this site is the worst she will walk out with the line wrap around the corner and not have enough people working and not even care I hate coming here and waiting 4 hours and I'm not a new doner the worker all are very angry but who could blame them when they have to work under conditions that are unfair it's 2 people sticking and it's a line of 14 people ready to get stuck make it make sense and put more people on the floor to work it'
The nurses are bad at putting the needle in your arm. I've donated at CSL plasma for a year straight and never had any problems. These people gave me a bruise on my arm the size of my hand AFTER DONATING JUST A SINGLE TIME! They are rude and have zero urgency to move the long line of people along. Very unprofessional staff and wait times that are unreasonably long. Do not go here. The extra money is not worth the pain and headache these people bring.
The machines suck the blood and don't keep track of it suck the blood before it registers. Takes a long to donate. Ladies nice though.
It was a good place to go, now it doesn't matter when you set your appointment. My last 2 visits there was a line of 7-9 people with it taking 5 minutes to even get your checkup prior to donating. I'm not willing to wait an hour before spending an hour donating. Fix your scheduling app. Yall went from turning me away because I was 2 minutes late to opening the floodgates.
Icis is amazing, professional, polite, funny and chill. She's one of the the best staff there. She makes the whole process easy and relaxing. She deserves a Raise ??
Had an apt. at 10:45. I was right on time, I was a new donor at this place. It wasn't until 12 when I was told I would not be able to donate due to having carpel tunnel surgery a couple of years back. I would have to jump thru hoops to get the surgeon to fill out a form and all kinds of nonsense. It was already a 30 minute drive. It would have been nice to know before hand. I won't go back to have my precious time wasted
I have always had a great experience at this location. Everything happened in a very timely manner until this week. First time this week it took 2 1/2 hrs & today took 3 hours. It only takes an hour for me to donate so the remainder of my time was spent waiting. Not sure what was going on this week but I hope it gets resolved soon!
Wait times here are terrible. They are severely understaffed. I've only been able to donate once a week because weekends are the only time I can spare 2+ hours to wait in line to donate. They need more people. EDIT: SURPRISE! The here still horribly long wait times three years later. You think location would have it together by now.
I typically have a great experience with the staff at this center. I've been going for a long time and most everyone is kind. Dakota is the BEST stick! She knows exactly what she's doing. She always has a great rapport with everyone around her & I never even flinch when she sticks me for donation. It's wonderful because I can be a somewhat difficult stick for some people. The RNs that do physicals are very personable, explain everything very clearly to new donors, & easily make people feel comfortable.
I've had terrible experiences ever since I went. They have a very rude staff & they all seem very unprofessional even when you're just doing your check in by talking about alcohol and what they're partying with this weekend. I had a girl put the needle in wrong and she freaked out and then come to find out she permanently deferred me for having makeup on my arm?? This all happened after I had two nurses exam my arm and clear me to donate. I called and asked why I wasn't able to schedule anymore appointment
I ended up leaving and not donating. I had already waited in line 2 hours before even having my vitals done or even being close to getting my vitals done. The money is just not worth me being there for 4-5 hours. I hate it cause I like to help but life is busy. It seems they have to many people to accommodate!
This plasma center is wonderful! I've always had a good experience even during busy times and the staff is always so kind and polite. It is easy to get in and out quickly, and I've never had a problem over the time I've been coming.
I have been donating here for a few months now and it is always very clean and the staff are very professional. Dakota is the best tech. Her sticks are 100% painless and she always kind and professional.
I usually go to a different center and was on vacation. I had alot of anxiety that morning due to an accident. The nurse was extremely rude and told me I could not donate and told me my mental health prevented me from donating and permanently deferred me due to anxiety. DO NOT GO HERE.
After asking specifically if I could do a walk in appointment here over the phone as I saw no time slots available, and being told that YES, my wait would be minimal as it wasn't busy, I drove an hour to get here to finish my new donor bonus. Upon arriving, I was told that I had to have an appointment and all were taken. They also said they do no accept walk-ins ever, but on the website it says they DO accept walk ins if a time slot becomes available. Absolutely ridiculous as I now have to drive an hour bac
My first few visits were okay. Some of the staff were friendly. Most recently, I got an email saying I could make $130. Well, Christmas is coming. So I went, and the whole process took about 90 minutes. When I looked at my account, I saw I had been paid $40. I was shocked. When I went back and looked at the email, I saw the tiny print at the bottom, saying a $90 payment would be made for the second visit in a week- so I spent about 2 1/2 hours of my time and drove 30 miles to m
the visit was quick and efficient. the technician inserted the needle with little to no discomfort and the 2nd tech removed it with the same ease.
Dakota does amazing work and carries the brunt of all the duties when shes is there. She wasn't. So missed stick and lack luster staff concern is what I got.The rude center manager or leadership that stuck me missed my obvious vein by a mile didnt care and purposely left my needle hanging with hemostats at the end for over ten minutes knowing the stick wasn't viable. Leadership like that shouldn't be on the floor missing veins .Im done with this facility.
You have a 50/50 chance of going in on a poorly staffed day and waiting two hours just to be seen. Wish they would hire more people.
Is completely incompetent staff. I was 2 minutes late to my appointment. And was told that I have to reschedule because I was five minutes late. The only reason I was over five minutes late was because no one was at the front desk. Some slow white bald head guy By the name of mister, b proceeds to kick me out of the facility for being upset about the situation. GREAT JOB GUYS! AWSOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!
It always takes two plus hours. No sense of urgency.
I have been donating for almost 3 weeks now and I was super nervous at first. Everyone has been so great and I get more and more comfortable each time I go it. The entire staff is fantastic. They caring, kind, and welcoming. I will continue to go for as long as I can and with decent promotions. Well worth the time.
I would highly recommend donating at this location. The first visit was really simple, and they gave tons of details on what to expect at each step of the process. I was nervous about the actual donation, but it was as easy as donating blood, but takes about 45 min to an hour. Thank you!
Leshawn was great quick efficient I don't remember ever having a bad experience here actually appointment scheduling reduces wait times. Think I'll be done in 90 minutes.
Staff was very professional and nice, they made sure everything was going good, even them having to work hours past their closing time the staff stayed up beat. I'd recommend coming to donate here
Grave lack of hospitality/compassion. Except Alexis(?) and Ursula. I was 20 minutes early to my appointment. They were not busy today and wouldn't allow me to complete my questionnaire until 5 minutes before my appointment. Apparently this is 10 minutes is too early. Then I asked a man a question about the bruising from when the phlebotomist blew both my veins a week before?.. he was short and snarky. He had another male chime in who was nicer?? until I walked around the corner where I stood in the doorway
Severely disappointed with this center. Scheduled my appointment online and when I got to my center I was a couple minutes late due to traffic. The lady at the desk was insanely rude, she had a very disrespectful attitude about how they only give five minutes (it had hit 5 minutes as I was rushing through the door) and when I asked if she really couldn't have me seen today she stared at me for a couple seconds before turning and waking away from me. Such a shame as the people coming here to donate are volun
I have been donating Plasma since 2011. I started donating after being in an awful car crash and I was given Plasma which helped saved my life. I didn't k own that everyday people could just donate. So I found my first Plasma donation spot and over the years as I've moved through I've always located a place to donate. Upon finding this location I've seen them come and go. I do my best to speak to all the staff because it's nothing like running in to a philobomist whose having a bad day... I stand by if your
BioLife Services in Savannah GA : This is a great location with ALL very friendly employees working there. They are very strict to the rules they must upkeep for their patients safety and well being ! When arriving you are asked to fill out a questioner to make sure your health has not changed in any way since your last visit. After completing that few minute survey they check that there is no bruising since your last visit, then take your blood pressure, weight and most importantly they check your Ir
Everyone is extremely knowledgable and helpful. All of my donations have been well managed.
I had a appt at 11:30 and it's 1:30 and I'm still standing in line. I know scheduling isn't perfect and neither is being short staffed but this is happening more and more every week. Something needs to be done about it. If it's going to be a short staffed day then take less people / less appts. It's looking like it will be 2 and a half hours before I even get to sit down to start donating and that's unacceptable. On top of that after waiting that long they send back multiple people at the same time then for
Great facility with professional and respectful employees. It's good to know that donations are so beneficial to people that require plasma therapy. The process is easy to do and the extra money helps. If you are considering donating, just understand there's a need to screen donors to protect those that receive plasma. Once you pass the initial screening, donations are fast and painless.
Great location. Staff are very clean courteous and the phlebotomist that I had was great In her venipuncture technique I couldn't even feel the needle !!!!
Great, facility. However, management really needs to take a look at the flow of donors walking in and properly staff the front and the floor. This will keep everyone?s time on schedule.
Everyone (and I mean everyone) was kind, helpful, and supportive. This was my first time donating and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
The phlebotomist are so rude..and to top it off they walk around with an attitude in their face. If the job isn't for them then maybe they should look elsewhere & to top it off they will be on the floor discussing other patients and their coworkers business and how they're treated unfairly and not paid fairly. So maybe management should have a meeting..it looks like your reviews are bad. I came to donate 2x. The first time I thought ?okay maybe they were just having a bad day? and the second time told me th
I have been going to this location for almost a year and everyone who works there has been phenomenal. The specialist Dakota especially, she should train everyone on how to use a needle because her technique is painless.
Don't come in more than 5 mins before or after your "appointment." If you come in more than 5 mins after you are cancelled and will have to reschedule. This is a new policy they have refused to inform anyone of until you're finding out you have wasted time for nothing. If you do get to stay for your appointment, be prepared to wait for at least an hour before donation, because the new donors who aren't even verified to be able to donate get to jump in front of screening lines. To say they are understaffed i
Advertising said 850 bonus for new donors. They only gave 750 for some reason. Then they fish and give a bruise the size of a baseball. Then they don't let you donate until it's gone. Then they say you can't donate because someone screwed up and never tested protein. So your time goes by and you get screwed out of the money and they want you to keep donating now the big money is off the table. Crooked and or incompetent!!! Beware!!!!
Tried calling them 15 times all at different times of the day and no answer. No one there answering the phones.
I have been donating plasma at BioLife Plasma for about 2 1/2 years, and I can't recommend it enough. The primary reason I donate is because plasma is incredibly important for individuals who have experienced severe trauma, burns, or shock, as well as for adults and children with cancer, and people with liver or clotting factor disorders. Knowing that my donation can help save lives and make a significant difference for those in need is extremely fulfilling. In addition to the meaningful contribution, I ap
All staff members were friendly, knowledgeable & efficient.
Lately this place has been packed mornings noons and evenings however the staff is amazing. Dakota is my favorite when she sticks me it is always quick and painless
I experienced racism, discrimination, and false (ILLEGAL) information. The medical assistant that performed my vitals was very rude and arrogant, even though I tried to be polite and professional. The medical assistant next to her was also very unprofessional and made "jokes" about life saving plasma donors, "visiting too frequently". He also was too concerned about my medical assistant's work station, than his own. He continued to make disparaging remarks (under his breath) about me. As the medical assista
ZERO POINT IN MAKING AN APPOINTMENT HERE. Whatever time you're appointment is for be prepared to not be allowed to check in until an hour ( yes a full sixty minutes) after your said appointment. & then if there's an issues (like needing a new physical) you'll have to wait then again too instead of allowing you to check in at your apt time to catch issues while You wait like any smart facility would. Pro- the staff is very nice but they're procedures are idiotic & wait times is outrageous. The past four ti
The team in Savannah is always excellent. And they still have fun. Dakota does a fantastic job of making you feel comfortable with her skill and genuine interest in you as a person.
The facility is clean and all employees are very nice. Be prepared to spend a couple hours at least, even with an appointment. They seem severely short staffed. Teana is just amazing though! She made me feel welcome from the start and the needle insert is painless. I now ask for Teana by name because I never bruise when she is my tech.
Had a great first time experience. Everyone was friendly and nice. I would suggest all first timers to go ahead and download app and make sure all info is correct.
Straight up terrible phlebotomist. They are always rude as can be and it's literally a waste of time every single time I go. my veins are perfectly fine but they are always so inexperienced they can't use the 2 giant veins I have in my right arm. They won't use my left arm because it has tattoos. So when i do go i have to make sure there is an experienced phlebotomist. I went to bio life 4 times and only once have they been able to do it. To make matters worse it takes damn near an hour to get a veins check
Dakota was super nice when she did my needle I didn't even feel it inter my arm any other time I would have I be looking forward to coming back bc everyone one here is so nice and sweet
Me and my mom come here every once in a while and on our latest visit my mother started not feeling well. The staff was very professional and made sure that my mother was ok and treated her very respectfully while getting her comfortable again. They did a great job. I'll be back.
I give them 5 stars for the employees they were respectful and the work area was tidy and made you feel safe
I only have one word for the best Plemotomist in South Georgia. DAKOTA. Keep doing the best work that you do with your professionalism and dedication to saving lives with a smile on your face. Godspeed to you ??
Unprofessional staff and zero hospitality. They showed me the door out in the hot humidity because I was 20 minutes early to my appointment which is 10 minutes too early according to their policy and there was no foot traffic or line build up. When they couldn't "find" a vein, they wouldn't even allow me to stay in the building to wait on my family. Go elsewhere and not be looked down on by them.
I love coming to biolife plasma in savannah Georgia when I come in and get lashawna I don't have to worry about being stuck a thousand times or it hurting she is top notch sticker and I have been donating since 18 I'm 31 I do appreciate all the staff though and great music thank you
They have new policies where you cannot check in until 10 minutes before your appointment and if you are more than 10 minutes late you have to reschedule. I was 12 minutes late to my recent appointment. They wanted me to reschedule for an hour later. Me being late was my fault, however I would have waited to get a bed for at least an hour usually more like an hour and a half. Then even when you get a bed you wait at least 20 minutes to be hooked up. I find it ridiculous that I was given a hard time about be
I was apprehensive about donating plasma. But once I was in the facility; I realized how much I was helping by donating. The place was pleasant, quiet and clean. The staff was friendly, polite and very careful to explain everything. From the first person that I meet to the last out the door; they could not have made this any greater and experience. Thank you, I have already scheduled my next donation.
I've donated several times and referred friends. The facility is always clean! The process is quick after your first visit. Great way to make some extra money all while saving lives! The techs are always friendly and make you want to come back
Great experience all around! Friendly and professional staff; and, they keep things moving! So easy to help those in need of these treatments, and treat yourself as well!! Two thumbs up for me! ??
The environment and the people are always so uplifting and professional. It is always really clean and I have no issues with any of the workers. Justice has a bright smile that greets you when you come through the door. Ayanna does her work fast and efficiently. Scott has a friendly personality and has always treated me well. Anytime I'm in the seat and Jackie comes over I can have peace knowing that I will only be stuck one time and it would hardly hurt. This is definitely the plasma center to go to if you
From Stephanie: the employees are very personable and friendly. Thankfully, they do a great job and are quick and efficient. It gets me in and out.
Ms. Tina, Mr. Jeremy, & Ms. Kristen are usually whom I look for when entering to donate even with an appointment. If I don't see them then I don't really feel comfortable or want to be involved. Not saying anybody else in there is bad, I just prefer them. Everyone who works here are great individuals. They may be mean sometimes(& I know it's strictly from stress of being understaffed and overwhelmed. These people are humans too?) but they're very good people. The 3 i mentioned by name are very good at what
I had great experiences there Lashawn and Alicia are patient, kind, funny, but very professional...also very knowledgeable of their job...
Nice place and Nice workers. BUT 1 star because appointment times are pointless. Plan on being at this center for 2-4 hours every visit. Half of the building is not being used for donations. Instead of spreading everyone out they use one side where everyone is crammed. Usual 45-1hr donation visits take 3 hours.
The staff here is wonderful. From day one they have made my experience awesome. it works as a well oiled machine. in and out no long waits or any hassles. Brandy is my love she is always pleasantly happy. Justice is one of the great ones as well as Desnna id be lost without them. Things have changed this center is going downhill untrained people sticking destroying veins. You come in at 7 am you dont get on the chair until after 8 this is not acceptable. Im really disappointed in the service the old c
My husband went over a month ago and bc our zip code was not in your area rhey wouldnt let him donate. They also said they would talk to someone about adding our area code and that they would contact us back but no one has contacted us at all. Very disappointing bc of the many people that need plasma and somene that is willing to donate cant just bc their zip code isnt on your list.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
