I had an appointment at this location for my second donation. Every interaction I had with staff members was professional; however, I would like to personally recognize Carla. She had such a pleasant and laid back demeanor. She was an excellent stick - I felt nothing. She was super busy but made you feel like you were the only one. I truly appreciate her professionalism and kindness.
I came in yesterday 5/23 and the girl that checked me in was very nice. Barbara tried to do my physical but I was unable to donate. She was very nice and gave me a few ideas.
Very easy to give plasma and make money while you're doing it n helping to save lives for anyone. The people are very friendly and helpful n get you in n out as fast as possible. Great place for anyone to use.
Was here for the first time in a long time, had a physical, the nurse who did my physical was nice but absolutely terrible. She kept talking, tried to be my therapist and couldn't figure out what the heck she was doing. She kept talking and writing things down but didn't seem like she had a clue as to what was happening truly. If I needed to go to therapy I would go to one, I didn't need one from Biolife. You should warn donors that they will have a therapy session and the their physical. You might want to
I came here yesterday, 05/11/25 for a physical and donation. I have been donating since 2023 and today was the absolute worst. The nurse that I had my physical with was absolutely horrible. Her office smelled like Vodka and she blamed it on her hand sanitizer... everyone who has drank before knows what Vodka smells like. She asked me why I was donating, why I lost my card after over a year of not donating, I voiced my fear of blood and needles which she responded "you can't be too afraid if you're here". I
Donating plasma helped me save for collage. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of there way to make sure patients feel comfortable. You couldn't ask for any better people.
Most of the staff is very rude and unprofessional, they discuss the donors out loud, play constantly with each other, and other than Eric the rest of management is very unprofessional, Lately additional staff from other states have been staffed and it has made a huge difference, they are professional and knowledgeable really putting the regular staff to shame. I appreciate the Oklahoma staff for making my experience better and hopefully giving the old staff a goal to work towards.
The whole staff up there is great. Rabya and all the other ladies and few gentlemen are excellent phlebotomist. If you want to donate this is place the to go.
The ladies, were pleasant. Snookie,Erica ,Aeris, Kennedy I think and Maddy. My veins are small and for safety Kennedy (I think is her name sorry), got a second opinion and Maddy was gentle with her poke and had me out of there in no time.
I went in for my second donation n the Tek that hooked me up did not know what she was doing. My arm is bruised really bad that I have to miss donating for two weeks. Going out to the ofallon location from now on.
Carla was excellent answered all questions I had very thoroughly, and despite being busy, made sure to make me feel like a priority
Yea this place cool but they do way too much I've been to other donating spots and by far they are the worse , takes extremely too long , the things that I know I'm allowed to do and have at other locations you can't here it's weird and if it wasn't for the paying little more higher people would not come . I got sent home multiple times for not having eating a full course meal but I can come back and say I've eaten breakfast and I'm fine ??.. I'll let this sit here
Participate in a life-changing event. The staff here becomes your family. Set an appointment, to help save someone !
Miss Shelly Miss Ashley Miss Darlene too many nice ones to name are always very kind they treat me extra very well Oh I Forgot Mr DeVaughn and MJ is like the little brother that gets on your nerves but he does his job with some direction needed at times but he gets things executed. They check on me professionally and personally while in the center and go the extra mile to make sure my experience is awesome. They are sometimes short staffed and I understand. I thank all of you ladies for treating me swell I
This place messed up my blood work. They said I had atypical antibodies. Which I do not. I went to my primary care provider and they ran a test and found nothing. This place is a joke.
Worst place to go to donate in st louis, they will constantly waste your time, and gas going out there, not a single professional, mature acting adult in the building besides maybe the nurse.they will tell you one thing and the next time it's completely different, save yourself a migraine and just got to a different place, you can thank me later
Shay is wonderful she always make sure all her clients are comfortable she is very down to earth. Don't let her go she is an good asset to this place keep up the good work Shay??
Very rude welcome. The young lady was asked by another person at the desk to assist me she rolled her eyes and walked slowly to the front. She asked me my name, and I showed her my ID. She then asked me my name again, and I showed her my ID. She then very rudely said have a seat we will get to you later. Finally a man walks up to the front desk and welcomed me properly. He asked me my name I showed him my ID. I was told how long the process will take being it my first time. I couldn't be there that long so
I came in expecting to be there for at least 3 hours or so because I had to go through the new donor process since I haven't been there for almost 2 years. I was pleasantly surprised to be processed and in a chair donating within about an hour and a half! Everyone was very helpful and pleasant as well. I will definitely be continuing to donate with Bio Life! Thank you for your great employees.
They are extremely slow. You will wait a half an hour after being called to a section if certain phlebotomists dont favor you as a donor , if you dont laugh, play & talk to them like an overgrown goofy childish adult if you donate at this location.(based off of my personal experience as a donor there) Its supposed to be strictly business as this is a health facility. You will spend at least 2 hours there on average no matter the donor crowd. That amount of time should only be spent there if youre a new don
Staff was rude as hell, lots of dirty looks going around. Was told last minute I couldn't be with my partner while he donates and he was uncomfortable. Didn't even want to go through with it. Unprofessional and ignorant people. Not a lot of staff on hand with too many appointments. Wait time was so long ! Will never come back.
I've been to several different locations, Saint Ann, Missouri is by far my favorite. They don't mess around on time management, I'll tell you that! Even when they're busy, the wait is absolutely nothing compared to the Saint Peter?s location. The staff is super friendly and down-to-earth. Highly recommend the Saint Ann location!
Quick/ efficient staff. Safe environment that provides comfort in returning. decently clean facilities.
Them workers themselves aren't the problem. I rated 1 star cause after not going for several months they usually give you a returning donor bonus which is supposed to start when you have your 1st return visit and go on for 8 visits. Well today on my 2nd visit I was told it expired and I'm only eligible for regular pay. This is giving scammed because I drove all the way over there for nothing when there is a plasma location 5 minutes from my house. This is why I stopped going the first time it really isn't w
Every donation experience here is different. This time I checked in the allowed 10 minutes early with one person in front of me waiting to be seated to donate. I waited 35 minutes from the time I walked in the door to be seated and have someone start to add lines to a machine and place a needle. Friendly staff just very hit or miss with getting in the right seat at the right time.
I always like the way the staff here is so friendly. In and out in under an hour.
Place is a joke, Nurses are on some power trip! Husband was turned away because they believed he was under the influence due to him looking exhausted from working with concrete all day before came into donate. Apparently his pupils weren't "dilating with the light correctly" so they flat out accused him of using drugs when my husband DOES NOT USE ANY DRUGS AT ALL. Nurse laughed in my husbands face as well when he replied to there accusation "that maybe there's a health issue behind pupils not reacting corre
I've been going about 2 years to this location. Haven't had a bad experience. No issues with needles or bad sticks, no issue with staff, no issues with compensation. The only nuisance is waiting times when a promo happens and a bunch of new donors sign up. Fully understand the promos, and it is important that more people sign up. Sometimes, having to wait an extra 30 minutes is still worth the benefits, and knowing you're helping.
The staff is friendly, very knowledgeable, and just made overall experience very pleasant!!! I will be donating again there. All of the workers displayed great team work I was impressed with the facility and enjoyed my 1st visit.
Very professional. All employees are kind and thank me before leaving. Only wish they were open Mondays.
When you enter into the St. Ann location you are instantly welcomed with an aura of safety and familiarity. Each nurse and staff member all take they time to keep new donors well informed, safe and treated with the utmost care. For the returning donors we are greeted with joyful laughter and kindness as if we all been friends throughout the process. I haven't encountered any other establishment with consistent hospitality, a diverse pool of characteristics that leaves a smiling impression every visit, and p
Would have been nice to know that you MUST eat within the specified time frame as a new donor or you are not allowed to donate. Don't mention this as something just to do on the email communication after scheduling, be clear that they MUST eat within the time you specify. Then my only option to reschedule was 4 days later because they wouldn't let me eat today and still donate. I donate all the time and have never had this as a requirement that can get you rejected. Guess I will remain a CSL patron, even t
The staff at this location is very rude & unprofessional. Each time I visit they act in a very caviler manner. On several different occasions I've heard staff members down talking donors which makes the environment very hostile & unwelcoming. It's sad to say but I will not be returning to this location due to the way that the floor staff treat & talk to/about donors. Management included. They don't even try to be discrete with the rude comments and remarks. It's almost like they want you to hear the mean &
I put off donating plasma for a year because reading reviews freaked me out? BioLife, in particular. I decided to just do it, and it was nothing like the reviews I read. The staff was friendly & informative. The place was clean. The process went smooth. It's timely (for a first timer), but that because of the process. It is not the facility?s fault nor the staff. They are following the guidelines, process, and procedures that come with their job. 10/10 recommend. I believe you are treated as good as you tre
Great experience at the St. Ann location! The facility was clean and the staff was professional & nice especially Alice. She was patient, understanding and funny! Thank you for the great experience
I enjoy my appointment at BioLife everytime I come. The experience is so nice and comforting. A lot of the staff members remember the donors and get to know them. They walk you through every step of the way and answers any and all questions. Pierce, Mimi, Ashley and a few others are literally the best. ??
rabya is wonderful and is always professional and I love the entire staff. Thanks u guys for everything
The staff is super friendly! Jaila is very professional and talented. She assisted when the first try did not work.
I have been donating here for 2 plus years. I enjoy going here. The staff is kind and compassionate. They follow the guidelines and rules that they are supposed to. They make sure you are healthy enough to donate. Really quick and easy to get in and out after donating.
Mia had a soft touch inserting my needle and made donating a breeze!
These people hurt me, super unprofessional and complete disregard for injuring patients. STAY AWAY
Ravya is very smooth with that needle and I always request her
Most of the staff are amazing and kind Carla cares for the wellbeing of donors she's awesome also Rabya is very attentive
The best and caring and understanding staff and everyone is very pleasant. Has the best nurse and staff??????
Biolife is by far the cleanest and most friendly, I've been with them for 3 years, the only thing that bothers me is after all this time and effort, I'm only getting 105 a week, really? New members should get that, and the people that have been there for years should get a better base of pay.
On my fourth year of donating. The crew that works the Vitals is lacking in Guest Service skills (Rude). The nurses and Techs at my center are great. The sanitation of the entrance of the building and the Restrooms also is lacking. Also the US flag in front of the building needs to be replaced. The compensation keeps going down. I am very happy to help people that need the Plasma for treatment. I enjoy when I get the updates that let me know how many people I have helped. I know the company makes great mone
Alice, DeVaughn,Tashay, and Ms. Carla are very awesome, polite as well as professional. Their energy makes time there great. Very welcoming. I would recommend this facility. Clean too by the way. 10 out of 10.
Nice at 1st. But once I was in the process of going thru the physical the nurse wasn't a nice person to put up with. I think she was a Manger. I felt like I was being judge the whole time. She would make a Comment of what she thought about everything with me. Make sure u have them check our veins before u waste 2 hrs of yr time.
I've been coming almost 2 years regularly and have always been greeted with the nicest people. It's easy extra money and bonus you help save lives. If you've been thinking about going? go and check them out. ** edit I just read a lot of reviews. Most negative and 1 star reviews were made by people who's situations have nothing to do with the staff or facility. There are rules and regulations they have to follow. Sucks that so many people can't see that.
During my second attempt, It has come to my attention that I have been placed on ?deferrals? for 6 months and suddenly not eligible to donate, due to being ?hospitalized within the 30 days of donation? the first time I applied. I did not sign anything nor had been notified confirming I was ineligible. I was told the release for would be faxed to the doctor regarding my last visit and I would be clear to continue the process. Foremost, there is nothing sited, I have not signed any documentation of my medical
Haven't been in a while. Miss Alice was a great house. Also Shay and I can't remember the other manager name with the light skin on with the braids in the back. I did an excellent job.
Good people, there's usually a lot of openings so I don't have any problems scheduling appointments. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's usually pretty packed there so the whole process takes me about an hour and a half
The whole staff is so wonderful. The atmosphere is so comfortable. The lady's there are so number #1! BioLife in St. Louis Bridgeton is Awesome ?? Love y'all there. Y'all so First ?? Class!!!!!
I choose bio life cause of the professionalism at the St Ann, Mo location. However this day was a complete 180 from the norm. The first girl couldn't get my vain, the second one started fishing and no more than 2mins in the chair my arm started to bubble up. I was freaked out cause I never seen or had that happen. So when I called for the the first girl started laughing at me like it was some kind of joke. She said it was the way I called for help. I found that to be very rude , unprofessional ,and very dis
Donation didn't take too long. Very clean and nice staff.
Very clean and organized facility with a very friendly staff
My work schedule and the times biolife have available doesn't work with me. I'll stick with csl if I decide to ever donate again. At least it's no appointments with that place. Word of advice, get your money up so you don't have to rely on places like plasma centers. These companies getting damn near $2,000 or more per bottle of plasma.
There were only 4 people in line for vitals and only 1 employee working and. It takes ok almost 25min to get vitals. That is ridiculous.
I will never go to BioLife in Bridgeton again. My brother also swore he would never go back, for the exact same reason. The employees regularly jam the needle all the way through the vein, and out the other side. Then they walk around, acting like they don't know why the machine keeps stopping on every pull? They have done this to me, at least 5 times. I had a appointment scheduled for Saturday December 30th. On the 29th, I looked online and the website said I didn't have any appointments scheduled? So, I w
I had my first donor experience here recently. There was a bit of an awkward wait at the beginning, but from there things went very smoothly. They explained everything clearly and answered any questions I had. The nurse who performed my physical (Steve) was friendly and thorough, and the attendant who handled my time on the machine (Alice, if I recall) was attentive and professional. I have anxiety, and I thought that would be my biggest hurdle; I was wrong. Everyone there did a great job of providing a sa
staff is friendly helpful, and the visit is quick.
The staff is professional, and the process takes 45 to 90 min. The environment isn't as tense or uncontrolled. Very organized, friendly and fast
All my girls are extremely nice ! Pierce , Ashley , Niya and a few others. The experience every-time I come in is positive and upbeat . They all work together as a team and the smiles and laughter between the employees make it enjoyable to be there. They are what make me come back .
This location has a excellent knowledgeable staff thanks
So I called yesterday to ask wether my id would be accepted even though I just moved a week ago from Texas. And was waiting on my change of address to go through. And to receive my confirmation from it. I was told it wouldn't be a problem if I brought certain required documents. I even made sure to stress the fact that I lived an hour away from the donation center and that I wouldn't be able to make it home and asked several times if my paperwork I did have would be adequate AND WAS TOLD YES MULTIPLE TIMES
I've been hesitant to donate plasma for so long because of so many horrible reviews on multiple locations. Ultimately, I decided to see for myself how it went, and I'm so glad I did. I scheduled my first appointment online, showed up at 5pm and finished the entire process around 7:30 that night. The staff were incredibly friendly and the women in the back working the machines were funny and kind. I'm so glad I decided to choose this location - it's a relatively easy way to help others and make some extra ca
Great place to go and happy save someones life my mom's life because somebody gave plasma. So I started years ago. I just wish your prices were more. They went way down. To 100 from 130 you would think with inflation it would go up.very sad
All about their $$ and not your"s.... staff is pitted against diners make a very hostile environment at times. Entrusted both locations with my safety for a coupl of years and finally threw in the towel after several instances of total disregard for my blood, sweat, and tears.
The employees lack basic fundamentals in the autonomy of the body. Most of the staff acts in a caviler manner and doesn't have common courtesies to even each other. Staff should be retrained in the area of blood and people skills.
I donated for the first time on Tuesday. I was very nervous and anxious. I will say it was very busy but the staff was very nice. They say that newcomers can expect to be there 3 to 4 hours I got there at 4:10 and I left around 630. Do you research on how to prepare for your first time donating and to continue donating you need to eat properly and be hydrated that's what I did and I had no problems. I usually feel very tired after giving blood or I usually am near to faint I didn't feel any of that donating
Yeah I made a appointment for 4:55 and Ms Carla put my time on top priority and I got done with my donation 50 minutes early because of her which I'm very appreciative of the service of was given from her
Easy way to make some quick cash and help someone in the process. The staff in St. Ann work hard to get you in and out safely.
I went in today for my first plasma donation, and the staff was extremely friendly and walked me through the entire process. The donation itself went very well. Although they will tell you that the appointment will take 2 hours, I was there for 3.5 hours. My biggest complaint was how busy it was and how long it took. First, I had to check in, eat and drink water, get my information processed, get checked for a viable vein, get vitals taken, get a physical, the actual donation, and then wait 15 minutes post
absolutely amazing, staff was super friendly & quick. shout out to both carla?s & the mss Sandy for being on it, didn't have a problem at all; definitely will be coming back!!
I love this place at 11300 Blake Drive it's lovely
Much better than Grifols in Wood River
I have to say, I have been donating to BioLife for 2 years now and I have never encountered as many problems as I have at this location. The staff acts very unprofessional, very slow to tending to donators and on my last donation I was treated to an employee cursing and acting erratic on the donation floor. The wait times are extremely long and to the point that a person better block out an entire 3 hours to give a whole 45 minutes worth of giving plasma. For people that don't have anything to do all day th
The company seemed very professional during the first hour & 1/2 of the intake process. Additionally, I passed all of my vital requirements. The problem came when it was time for me to speak with the nurse and how the energy changed the moment that I walked through the door. She started talking extremely fast while asking me sensitive questions and when I gave her my answer she'd loose patience immediately and yell " THAT 'S NOT WHAT I ASKED YOU" so I tried to get on the same page as her to no avail. Deter
Jayla is one of the best....ijs ikyk.
I absolutely love Carla w I came months ago and she made me feel very welcomed the place is so clean and professional and i love how happy and nice she was!
When I first began donating plasma, I tried different plasma centers in my area. There were a total of 4, but the 1 that stood out was BioLife. Awesome customer service from the staff, who are also very knowledgeable in getting new donors through the process. I started at BioLife over 2 years ago, and I'm currently a Donor. Overall, I know what donating plasma means for saving lives, and the staff at BioLife make that process a a pleasure to be a part of.
Talk about a place that's not organized. Waited an hour as their machine kept timing me out just to sign in. They would pull me out of line to change my account and then tell me to go to the back of the line. Waited 2 hours juts trying to check in. Walked out after the third time they told me to get in the back of the computer line.
Love the customer service everybody was very polite even when I got to the point where I was donating the technician knew I was nervous and they made it easier to relax amazing service
The people here work hard and are kind. Sometimes bloodwork can make me and other people nervous, and it helps to have someone nice help you through the process. Just be nice and patient yourself and you're almost guaranteed to have a easy donation experience here.
The technicians are extremely professional and patient. Today's experience was made enjoyable by Asks, at the Saint Ann location.
They start u off at 100$ one day than give u $75 the next visit to wheel u in saying it's a promotion Than they turn around and give u $40 one visit than $60 the next when they are making billions off our plasma and they stick u the wrong way n mess up your vain and blood flow only to see u later in the hospital needing help n u do all the requirements and health replenishing and stop u don't get nowhere because u came in to give and get help only to end up with health problems N this is unhealthy but peopl
Shout out (Carla W) (Yaz) and (Ms.Carla) good vibes, great personalities I never had a bad experience with them. If I could give them 6 stars I would????????????
Very unprofessional? It is UNACCEPTABLE NOT to change your gloves in between patients..!! If a patient asks you to change your gloves nicely it should not be a debate on why. There really needs to be some education done at the place. I will not return to this location and will advise family and friends to do the same.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
