The last three times I have gone to this one they hurt me one way or another. 1st time I got bruised from the needle being pushed in too slowly from a new person. 2nd time I had the bandage start leaking before I make it to the light nearest to the building because the employee hadn't cared enough to do it correctly. 3rd time they had to adjust about 4 times then have someone else come fix it just for the original person to blow my vein out pulling the needle out. Per their contracts you can't seek legal ac
People are really nice there. Seemed to go quick but don't have anything to compare it to. Providing me some extra spending money and helping people out. I also get to catch up on my reading.
Someone was being trained which lead to an extremely long wait and then my stick was bad and my donation was going incredibly slowly and I declined to continue. I did not get paid even though the the problem was the way I was stuck by the trainee. Her trainer did try to fix it but I had already been there over an hour, 45 minutes of that waiting to be stuck while they were training so I declined trying my other arm at that point.
I have been going here since 2021, the leadership in this establishment does try their best to hold up to their values and it is awesome coming in their and have customer service oriented people help you during your donation. It hasn't not always been a good experience donating! But my safety was never a concern!
Customer service was top tier The male nurse who did my exam has been there for 6 years and he was Phenomenal. Very informative, made the experience feel personal, made me feel comfortable and made sure I was knowledgeable about the process. The tech supervisor who performed the procedure was very courteous, made sure I was feeling okay. I would recommend this place to anybody. Overall 10/10
I want to start by saying my first visit was decent! New donor appt was 3 hours long which is a bit crazy but the donation it's self went smooth. My second, the phlebotomist blew my vein right away, I could tell she was new and unexperienced. she stuck way too fast and too far in. Switched arms and the line kept vibrating and alerting the machine, Half way through it got uncomfortable in my upper arm during the blood return. They repositioned the needle which caused more pain during return and they wanted t
The staff at BioLife St. Peters couldn't be any better! Cindy was the sweetest while checking me in, Max the medic was efficient and comical, easing my nerves and Emily was an amazing phlebotomist, caring and very personable. The facility was clean and everyone was very welcoming.
I've been nothing but impressed with this facility. All the staff have been phenomenal and super friendly. I want to shout out 2 of the best that I've experienced...Wyatt for sure always helps keep you at ease and put a smile on your face! And a special shout out to Tammy. During tonight's donation (in the green section), she was dealing with a lot of difficulties (at no fault of her own) including a very difficult donor who claimed Tammy had an attitude, refusing to let her continue or disconnect her and
On 3/9/25, I arrived for my 11:30 am appointment and waited in line for one hour and 20 minutes to have my BP, etc. taken before I was hooked up to donate at 12:50 pm. The staff was immensely short-handed and overloaded with at least 4 "new" appts. taking precedence over those waiting in line and the majority of that time only 1 and sometimes 2 taking vitals.
Very clean facility, very nice staff, and new donor bonus wonderful. If you are a hard stick, you can request someone experienced with this situation. I have been severely bruised several times, to the point of not being able to donate for over a week at a time. I would caution you to expect long wait times. Occasionally you will get right in and out. I am interested in finding out what regular donor promotions they have, to keep me retained. I drive a long way to donate. Start donating today!
Learn how to accept a certain amount of donations at once so multiple people don't have to wait forever to donate. It's bs having to wait over 30 minutes to get a bed
My appointment was 10:30. When I arrived there were 15 people ahead of me. After I was processed there were 21 people in line behind me. I this is unacceptable. We all make appointments and are unable to check in until 10 minutes before our appointment. How could this situation occur?
BioLife Plasma Services in St. Peters is a well-oiled machine! Everyone who works there is nice and professional. They all work together so very well. I have never had a bad experience there with anyone not being competent with the plasma donation process. They are doing excellent work!
Check in was quick and easy. Screening was quick as well; although there was a line when I arrived, the donors were processed promptly. When I got to my section, the machine was setup and ready to go; I was hooked up within 5 minutes and the whole donation lasted 50 minutes. I was in and out in just over an hour. The technician was friendly and communicative throughout the whole process.
I have been here a handful of times. Today was the best experience I've had so far. Kacie was super nice and super efficient!
I went for my 1st appointment yesterday 11/13/24. First appointment is a physical and donation which means it takes longer because you have to go through medical history, medication your on and how it all works. It seemed a bit over whelming at first. But Max quickly made me relax with his jokes and fun personality. They run a really good system with having lines and a sense of order. I was worried about them finding my veins easily. Because that's normally a problem for me. But Brittany was ready for the
Jade is absolutely amazing! She is incredibly personable and makes each visit feel welcoming and comfortable. I trust her precision and skill completely, and I always ask for her if I'm in a different section. Jade?s friendly demeanor and dedication make every experience here enjoyable. Thanks to her and the other fantastic team members, I genuinely love coming here! Highly recommend!
Awesome customer service here, when the nurse inserted the needle it was painless and they always walked around to check in with you!
Very easy to donate. Nice & welcoming staff, patient to new donors, answers any questions you have. Clearly explain all the procedures for the donation process.
I originally decided to donate just because I am always looking for ways to help others. Getting paid was a huge blessing. One of the best uses of technology.
I was so nervouse, but the check in person was so nice and helpful, the screener was so friendly, the nurse was exceptional, and the person taking the plasma was so professional. I appreciated every part of this experience.
Brit was so cool and fun, her bedside manner and her attitude are unmatched!! If you can request Brit, I strongly suggest you do!! Thank you to everyone who made me feel safe and secure during my first visit!
I always have a good experience here. Shout out to all the employees, they all hustle. Last few times, I had Denise...she is great. Max keeps the energy high. You can't go wrong if you choose this location.
Very professional and made my first time welcoming and comfortable. Every single staff member was nice and attentive to needs.
I am a regular donor. Noticed that over the past several months the process is getting slower and slower. Appointment on 09/29/24 was at 5:10pm. I was able to start questionnaire at 5:00pm. I didn't get hooked up to the machine until well after 6:00pm and not able to leave until 7:10pm. It appears they are SEVERELY under staffed at present. Lots of new faces, so training still happening. Even so, the newbies simply cannot service 6 donors. And heaven forbid the donors arrive at close to the same time th
I've been donating for about a month now. No issues. Super friendly staff! Especially Denise. She made me feel extremely comfortable my first time donating! No complaints from me :)
They are scheduleing to many people in appointment times. You will spend an average 1 to 2 hours waiting to get a chair to donate and then an hour to donate and 20 minute to get disconnected. Line is always out the door. They only use half the chairs in the building. If they bruise you when you are stuck there is additional time waiting at the following appointment. If you have half a day to spend here then no problem, but for me it has gotten ridiculous. I usually wait an hour past my appointment time a
I've been coming to this location for a while now i decided today to leave a review I'm upset due to expectations this location being in St. Peter?s i expect more professional attention but no it's long wait times for no reason the workers a just be standing around having small talk while people are waiting no regard to the schedule appointment time i only take about 45 mins but I'm always in there for over 2hrs one time i said something about my clothes being ruined due to them not properly wrapping me on
Absolutely love this place they pay more than CSL plasma this location is my favorite to donate at love this location can't speak highly enjoying of it
Not every visit goes as planned, but the staff is pretty friendly and good at explaining things in understandable terms. Their customer service is pretty dang good. It would be nice to see their team becoming less highschool like. Drama amongst themselves that occasionally spills over to the donors. I personally don't care, but know some that do. It's easier to believe in a team that believes in each other!
Employees very nice and professional. First donation was a flop. Were not able to hit a vein in both arms. Although second donation was successful. Had a fine young man that took his time and hit the vein with a little moving the needle around at my suggestion. Overall great place!
They can be quite uncaring and cold about the pulse rates even when the pulse rates come way down from the first reading close to normal, clearly the person just needs a couple more minutes, but they waste their time, gas money, and have their blood drawn for nothing, and a disservice to people who need plasma.
The center I go to is very well staffed and organized - and it doesn't seem that it is overbooked with appointments as it has been in the past. The lines were long and the staff was clearly overworked. I would feel bad for scheduling a donation because I didn't want to add to the overload. Things seem back on track with efficient caring workers that truly seem to want to be there... and hopefully its because Biolife cares about them. You have to treat your employees with respect or whats the point of al
Please read!!! I am writing to commend Brittany for her exceptional service and unwavering dedication at BioLife Plasma. Every time I come in for a donation, Brittany consistently goes above and beyond to ensure my experience is smooth and positive. Her commitment to her work and her genuine care for donors are truly remarkable. There was one particular instance that stands out, which I believe exemplifies Brittany's outstanding character and professionalism. During one of my visits, I encountered a deeply
I have been a consistent donor since August and have nothing but great things to say about this place and staff! Initial screening employees are absolutely fantastic especially Kaycee and Sophia! Nurses are wonderful as well. Tim did my initial physical and he's so enjoyable to see and be around! Max is also fantastic as well. All of the pholobomists in the donation areas are great especially Sandos, Amber, Wyatt, Emily, and Kammie. Best experience I could have ever had at a place like this where needles
Britney and wyatt did an outstanding job helping me out as a first time donator. The humor from both of them kept the process moving fast and swiftly. They both also did an amazing job answering any questions I had along with everyone else at this location that i had the pleasure of meeting today.
While the experience is fine . My biggest frustration is why does my weekly donation fluctuate so badly!! On week it's $. 115 then it keeps dropping as low as $ 95. Not really worth my time. Wish it would be consistent or at pt drop so low!
I had a horrible experience here for my first time, the older lady at the front desk with glasses made me feel uncomfortable and she was rude to my wife with my child and the old lady with white short hair was very rude the entire time to me profiling me for my tattoos and speaking rude to me and my wife because my wife came in checking on me because it was taking forever and we have a fussy tired baby, She told me out loud. LESS TALKING MORE FILLING OUT PAPERWORK! I just walked out and I will not be back a
Biolife shorts you on coupons so beware. I came in for a first donation and my blood sample was fine. They didn't let me know afterwords in the waiting area or via app/email that I was "lipemic" despite being on a low fat diet. They only told me the next time I came in and had to wait 2 weeks for the test which was too late for the coupon. Recently came in cause they gave another coupon but only got the reg price. I've already lost potential hundreds and I won't be back here
The Bio Life on Mexico Road in St. Peters is extremely understaffed or are making appointments too close together and simply can't keep up. What should take about an hour easily takes 2-3 hours. I am a retiree so my ability to go at any time of the day should make it easy to avoid having to stand and wait in line for 30+ minutes before ever going back to give plasma. In addition, the computers that are used to check in are not always in order and there are only 3 of them. I gave it a good chang=ce this summ
I've been a donor for 4yrs, and whoever the head nursing staff is, she was very rude. Went in for my yearly physical I donate in long periods. The questions update and one specifically said a ?have you ever had surgery? it used to just say ?have you had a procedure since your last visit?. So I answered truthfully, while in my physical, I needed documentation of my surgery from two years ago Was very rude and asked me for these things and said that I failed to document them when this was the first time it sp
I love that my donations help so many people and I just love all the people at this facility. I've been coming for almost 2 years-employees come and go and I get to know most of them. I have a few special employees that are my favorites namely Brittany and Sondos. This is a fast and efficient facility and makes me want to come back!??
Had a great nurse, he gave me ideas to make my donation a snap.
Very few people that work there seem to care about making you feel comfortable. Plus the long wait times, inexperienced people sticking needles and giving hematomas, not ideal. Only gave two stars for the couple people that actually do care.
I've donated 4 times now and every time was a great experience. The nurses are great at keeping you at ease and I enjoy seeing a lot of regulars. This place is very professional.... they take all precautions to make sure the donation process is easy. Recommend 10/10
At first I was nervous about donating but once I came in, the people were very nice. They helped me through the process and were friendly and kind. I was impressed with the process, cleanliness of the facility, Nurse on staff, lots of space and a variety of people donating. I'm very happy I came in and will continue to donate.
Donating the same time and day each week, I had the opportunity to have Hannah work on my donation twice last week. With care and quickness, she got me in and out of the facility in under an hour each time. She was able to chat with you while she did her work and made you at ease.
The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcomed they are good at what they do and make you comfortable however the time that's spent donating doesn't pay well this is my only complaint I love helping people and this makes me smile every time I donate just knowing I help two people per donation
Great customer service /hospitality skills they make you feel welcomed and very comfortable Brittany at the St.peters location is extremely knowledgeable in the field & is excellent at what she does!!!
I want to give a big thank you to Brittany! She took her time listening to my concerns and gave me honest feed back. She is amazing. I watched a client having a difficult time and Brittany rushed over to her to make Sure she was okay. Brittany is the best staff member I have met here and she is what all the other staff members should stride to be like. A big thank you to her!
I witnessed a sexual assault here involving the short male nurse on staff and haven't felt safe to return since. This location was already horrific to deal with and had multiple instances of workers switching the IV and anticoagulant (can be fatal!) but I'm shocked that they employ such individuals here too!
Tina did my finger and is an exemplary top performer. Every time - consistent, kind and personable. Nel did my stick and was great and kind. Excellent care and performance. Thank you. 6/21/24 The group of people working there seem to want to do a great job. The center is always clean and management is present. Aside from a lot of turnover there lately, they are managing thru it and getting new staff trained. That's hard. Keep up the good work!
The staff here is great and friendly. The majority of them hustle. But they have started this new thing? first time donors have always gotten to go to the front of the line (and aim fine with that) but my last two visits this week they are leaving beds open because?new donors are coming.? I stood at the front of the line for almost 30m WAITING FOR A OPEN SEAT when they had 3 open beds in the sections they were using. Adding 30min to my visit because someone is ?coming and not there? is ridiculous. What abo
It is nice to help other people out and make a little extra cash, but why are they always so short staffed? I waited for 20 minutes after my donation for my Iv to be removed. The girl in my section was hustling the whole time too!
I'm glad I could contribute. The place is excellent. The people are very kind.
The ladies got me in and out quickly and everyone is always so nice! Shout out to Alla and Brittney for taking such good care of me at the O'Fallon location in Missouri. Denise and Lily too.
I've donated 5x now and no matter what day or time I go it takes me 2+ hours from start to finish. There's always a line somewhere?whether it's at the screening or waiting for a seat or once I'm seated I wait forever to be hooked up. I want to donate but I just don't have that kind of time to spare
They have a 1 month promotional program but all visits must be completed within the same month to take advantage of the promotion. But they completely blew out my veins on both arms and I haven't been able to return. My appointment was 5 days ago and these pictures are from today. They reel you in with big payments for a month and then it's impossible to actually go in for them.
I just completed my first-time donation. Growing up, I had what I would describe as a healthy fear of needles. That fear has diminished somewhat, but is still in my mind as an adult. It's no surprise that I was a little nervous going in for the plasmapheresis. What was surprising, though, is how great of an experience this was! The staff was engaging and knowledgeable. I felt safe and relaxed throughout the procedure, and I truly felt that I was well-informed every step of the way. In particular, my phlebo
Took 1 1/2 hours of my time documenting my tattoos then went to donate and was told my veins are too small on my left arm and they won't allow donations through a tattoo on my right arm. Waste of time and resources. I'm also a disabled Veteran. Was told other locations will draw through a tattoo if I wanted to try somewhere else but for some reason they will not. No thanks, it isn't worth the time or the gas money. My husband was getting ready to see the nurse for the physical but after my experience
They were very professional, and very attentive. I appreciate how thorough they were and the nice friendly atmosphere! Definitely a great plasma donation center.
I heard a couple staff members talking about the google reviews so here goes. I love this place, love the people. Are waits sometimes long, yes,; sometimes am I unable to donate bc of high blood pressure or low protein, yes. Bottom line? not everything will always be perfect but most of the time I am in and out in an hour, staff is welcoming and funny, I get to relax and make money!!!! I could name my favorites but they know who they are. Thank you to all of them!!
I enjoy giving plasma. It gives me a chance to relax and read or play games on my phone. The money is nice. The people are nice. It can be hard on your body as you get older, so I make sure I drink a protein drink before giving and a electrolyte drink after and I do much better.
They are beyond short staffed. They only open 3 or 4 stations, but still book appointments for all the beds. My last 4 donations have had wait times to get to a bed of 1 to 2 hours past my appointment time. And it's still taking 20 minutes for them to actually get the donation started once I reach a bed. Unless you have at least 3 hours minimum to spend here each donation, it's not worth your time! It won't take 3 hours every time, but it has more often than not since August. I will say, all the staff are
Fed up with this place. I've done three donations to start with their new donor promotion. Everything was cool, until all of a sudden one day they tell me my pulse is too high to donate. They have me sit and wait....test it again...then go, "sorry your pulse is still too high, you're not available to donate today but you can tomorrow" You guys know that people book up appointments day ahead right? Every single time I've gone back since then My pulse has been too high to donate. Every time I get kicked out
You have to make an appointment, but they are rarely staffed for the amount of people that have an appointment. Either limit the amount of people that can make an appointment at a given time or staff better. It's a waste of time if you have to wait an hour before you get to sit down.
The wait times have gotten significantly better since I started quite a while ago. What is disappointing is that they get you with with a great offer, but then it's like they don't care anymore about retaining you. You go from $850 in a month to $400 max a month. At the start of the year I was offered $130/week. But that went quickly away and I continually get ?offers? of $100/week like they are something special. I do it to help people. The money is an added bonus and help with vacation. But I don't
The employees at this location are great. However, it is just pure disrespect to let people book appointments and then wait for over 3 hours. If there is not enough people to work then stop offering the appointment times. People like me see an appointment and think that they have an opening to go donate. But then you arrive and it can easily be 2 hours before you get your vitals and another hour until you start donating. And then you count the hour it takes you to donate and you could easily spend 3 to 4 ho
Britney is my favorite! She is always so friendly and cheerful. She is knowledgeable, and has never missed a stick! I try to get in her section everytime I donate.
At times can be very slow. Lines to get screened and lines waiting for a bed. I have donated for 5 years but have stopped as they dropped the reimbursement from $125 a week to $80. With my drive and waiting times it was taking over 2 1/2 hours and for $80 it is nor worth it. The center I go to has constant turn over. They never answer the phone, every time I have called it goes straight to voice mail and they are very slow to call back if they even try. Employees stand around and talk while you are w
Everyone at this donation center is incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. The facility is immaculately clean. The quality of care throughout my experience was excellent. I was asked often, ?How are you doing?? Are you doing ok!? And I have to add, Ian was my nurse (I'm not sure what the exact name for this position is.) He was nothing short of wonderful. He thoroughly and thoughtfully explained the entire procedure since this was my first donation. He answered my questions. He kept a v
I always have a great experience when I come in. The staff is friendly and normally there is not a long wait. Sondos and Hannah are just two of my favorite ladies! They always engage in conversation and make you feel welcome and comfortable.
I went with my friend who was donating plasma and the lack of professionalism from the managerial staff I saw was astonishing. It was a bit busy however the managers left before the workers themselves did. Perhaps there was a schedule mishap or something ?? But the fact that the managers left before the workers did for a facility that deals with plasma , needles, and people?s health is extremely concerning. What if there was an accident? What would happen without a manager in the building ? How do you contr
The loss of 1 star is because of the wait time that is sometimes experienced. The staff is nearly all great (there are some ?rougher? phlebotomists that hurt more). However, if I'm limited to 10 minutes before or after for a ?window?, then there should be something in place to make sure I'm not waiting in a lengthy line. Technically, TWO, lines. While I realize this is likely due to staffing and every industry is short these days, then that should be made up by lessening the amount of appointments, or at
Everyone was so nice here. I never really waited in line for too long. No issues at all. Super friendly and knew what they were doing! It was my first time donating and they made it so easy! Shout out to Steve!! He was so great and made me feel comfortable and made sure I was taken care of. Definitely make an appointment and get there early. The staff rocks at this location! From the wonderful lady that greeted me to the other lady that guided me when I was confused on where to go next. Definitely going bac
Everyone was so kind. I felt very welcomed. The professionality was on point and Britney was really great.
My personal experience has been 3 blown veins over 6 donations. My first visit both arms were messed up. It was bad enough when I came back a few days later they told me I could not donate until the bruising was gone. It took another two weeks for that and I was unable to complete all donations at the higher promotion rate for first timers. They say I have deep veins that are difficult. Now the current coupons give you a small dollar amount for first visit in the week and a fair amount for second. If they
Dimaya did a great job because it usually takes me 2 hrs to get out of here and she got me out in 1 hr today. Perfect stick no adjusting or stopping on the machine!
I will be going for my 5th donation and everyone has been great and supportive.
This place is an absolute dynamo of efficiency and speed! Sondos and Hannah are not just your regular phlebotomists, they're the life of the blood-drawing party! Chatting with them is like adding a sprinkle of joy to your day while they skillfully work their magic with needles. Top-notch service with a side of laughter?what more could you ask for?
Everything went smoothly from questionnaire, evaluation to giving plasma. All employees are very professional, friendly and just make you feel comfortable.
I was turned away because I declined the goldfish they offered me before the appointment(I don't consume milk). You are told to eat before the appointment, so it's unclear to me why they make you eat something else, and have no options. Some people have allergies/intolerances. Waste of time
Very attentive, care and concern, and knowledgeable. Everything went well, no issue's.
All staff members were accommodating and kind! Pleasant experience!
Simple & easy - very clean environment & great staff. Wait times can be ridiculously long. Would be pretty nice if they offered promos for people that donate regularly/semi-regularly vs. only new donors. Doesn't make sense. I'd leave 3.25 stars so I'll round up.
Everyone there is very friendly and they make you feel comfortable. Even though they are always busy all their employees are very efficient.
I donated here for years. The staff was always hit or miss. I didn't go for a while after getting a tattoo. This place treated me AWFUL when I came back! I was permanently deferred because I didn't know when I got my tattoo. She didn't want to give me time to look and shoved me out the door. Didn't tell me I had 24 hours to dispute and figure out the exact date. I obv won't be going there again but I also will never recommend them to anyone
during the promotion month, make sure you find someone there that can stick you correctly. I had someone trying to stick me and they blew out my veins on both arms. I was not able to give again for over week which cost me my promotional money. Now after the promotion is over, you dont even get $100.00 a week. They need to give more promotions or be able to suspend your promotional week.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
