Turned away for having tattoos. I understand that they don't "Poke through ink', But their medical examiner took one look at me and said "Not looking good already. Nope. Yeah no. It's not going to happen". Did not even attempt to find a vein. While I am in fact covered in tattoos, it is not 100% coverage and skin can be moved around to avoid "Poking" through any of the shading. I have had real nurses do it before. Perhaps she is bitter because she doesn't work in a real medical facility or maybe just unski
Everyone of the nurses and everyone who worked there was very nice and helpful and professional I don't ever leave reviews for anywhere but I couldn't help but want to leave one for here. I actually liked doing it. I can't wait to go back Just wish I didn't have to drive from Antioch to Stockton And I notice a bunch of people with crazy bruises?. This is all I got
The worst experience ever I spent 2hours going thru their new donor processes, required to have a physical answer the same questions over and over, then get to the donation chair and be told you can't donate because we are a 2 vein location, should something happen with one vein we can switch to the other. Excuse me but 1. They should be checked in the beginning. 2. I'm donating plasma not a kidney! 3. If something goes wrong with one vein, what makes you think you're just going to hop over to the other ve
I recently donated plasma at this location, and while most of the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, I had a very uncomfortable experience with one nurse during the physical exam. She was a younger Asian woman, and from the moment the exam began, her energy felt cold and judgmental. She repeatedly questioned me about a couple of small scars on my arms and back ? scars that I told her I don't even remember getting, likely from childhood. Despite giving a clear and honest answer, she wo
DO NOT GO HERE !!!! Went to the center May 25th for a donation and They ruptured my vein and punctured a bicep. When I was first seen by the nurse, she poked me with a needle and they started the donation. About five minutes later the blood stops flowing, and one of the nurses comes and adjust the needle and pushes it in a bit more two minutes later same thing happened And again the nurse started fishing. They did this about three times until one of them said they got it and this was during the return immed
It was a very pleasant experience and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a very smooth process. Erika was wonderful and I would highly recommend this place for donating plasma.
The wait time to just get checked in?.. by the time you're ready to get hooked up it's been 3 hours. They should really consider taking a look at how their whole process is done. Stop wasting unnecessary time on things and simplify them. Over booking and working at turtle speeds.
Staff are very professional, caring, kind and helpful. My experiences there have been wonderful.
I have donated at the Stockton location and the Modesto location. Both are great. Staff is efficient and focused. They get you in and out.
3 time donor, 1st visit will be very long. This place is usually busy & wait times can be long, so keep that in mind, but it's not the staffs fault as they're very short staffed. The facility is very clean & the staff is professional/courteous. Safety is definitely their first concern. RN Mary Ellen is the sweetest, she's very respectful, & very thorough. She was a pleasure to work with. I've also always enjoyed being helped by Natalie, she's quick & efficient. Even though staff may be busy, they do a reall
Not a new donor ! I shouldn't be waiting 3 hours to get my arm poked. Maybe don't accept so many appointments in the morning when you have barely enough workers to do the job. And get a better manager to organize. The previous manager was great. Sucks that he left
Great staff but they need more. The amount of people coming in to donate surpass the amount of staff and equipment they possess which result in an exhaustive wait time before the donation process even begins. Line be longer than the DMV sometimes. Average time with an appointment for a returning donor is between 2-4 hours.
I wasn't able to donate due to my protein being low. I try to ask what's best to eat but staff that helped me wasn't very helpful. Other than that my experience was fine. Front desk was fully staffed, so I got thru the line pretty quickly
The appointment system they have makes it difficult to donate. Getting a early appointment is impossible and if you go rite when they open they won't let you in they will check for the next available slot. That might not be for 2 or more hours. If Biolife is your only option then go for it but in my case CSL is rite down the street. Walk-ins welcome and i think they pay better. If it wasn't for Biolifes appointment system it wouldn't be that bad. Change the appointment system so we can donate more freely
I have been there a few times , and pain makes me laugh ! So I might be jumpy when I see the needle , but Cielo , Floor Manager , is AMAZING & SUPER NICE and VERYY WELCOMING ! A 10 out of 10 ?? God bless her and I hope she's always there when I go , I wouldn't want nobody else poking me but her ! Thank you Mi Cielo ?? ?? ?????? - G M A ..
The most professional plasma center I have ever been to! The staff is very professional, polite and everybody seems very well trained! All the employees carry themselves with complete confidence and it makes me feel very comfortable being there, I trust them 100%. Go to any other plasma center in town and you will see the total opposite, don't put your life at risk going anywhere else, go to BioLife and be treated with dignity and respect.
The staff is always very friendly, very professional and calm. Always an easy experience to get in and out the wait times could be better but I understand it's an overwhelming number of people donating which is a good thing. But overall enjoy coming in to BioLife the staff is always there and overtime you start to get to know all these people and it's always just very welcoming. Will continue to donate and help.
When I first started donating last year, things went well. These past two months the wait has been awful!!! Sometimes it takes me 4 hours by the time I get out of there. Two days ago I had an appointment on the last slot available. There were 12 people waiting in the line to be called to a bed, and 8 beds were not running. I waited an hour in that line and it barely moved so I left, or I would have been there well after 9pm! I get it, they are short staffed, so in times like that they should be changing the
Just too slow. What's the point of appointments if you still going to have to wait 3 hours. Literally waited in line a hour and in the bed for 2 hours. Staff is nice but they need to figure this appointment system out.
Started out very sweet. Young black girl help me out with rescheduling my appointment. And then not less than 10 minutes later, with a rude voice asked me to leave the facility until my appointment time came up, Which was in roughly 15 minutes. So unfortunately her fake smile was overpowered with her rudeness. Needless to say I will not be coming back to this location.
They didn't put needle in right both arms they mess up and didn't get my blood back and now can't go back for 8weeks because of there mustat that's wrong
The first time I had went, Zeke help me and he definitely made an impression. Thank you for that. Made me feel as comfortable as possible and very welcoming. I went back in the same week and my second experience was just as great. Cielo Was the one to help me this time and she is so sweet and funny made me feel very comforted. Her and Zeke I appreciate you guys a lot thank you! I highly recommend coming To donate if you had thought about it.
This facility seems to be understaffed. Lately the time to make a donation has increased so much that I've had to cancel appointments because it would interfere with other commitments. This is not a complaint against the staff itself
I don't recommend coming here if you are queer. The staff will find any excuse for why you can't donate. Waste of time
There always smiling big and helpful and apologetic when there is any minor inconvenience.
All staff was genuinely kind and helpful. Wait times made sense. Everything was very efficient and made such an easy process especially for my first time donating. 100% donating again because of how nice and easy everything went.
Sochi is highly professional and accommodating. (She has a Strawberry Shortcake tag on her face shield. Despite my fear of needles, her pain-free insertion technique made the process much more comfortable. Starting my donation this way helps maintain my peace of mind.
My Nurse Amanda, and my Phlebotomist Natalie were excellent! Amanda was very informative and professional, and Natalie was very cheerful and attentive throughout the donation process. Without a doubt I will be coming back!
Has everyone says I would give zero but I can't. Set there fir over 2 hours Explain 22 different people that I have Not a single person said anything and tell I went in to see the nurse. The nurse is when you told me we cannot take you It is not contagious , it is not hereditary , anybody could have it I get, I wasted 2 hours of my life to train.Save a life and they just trade me like garbage.
Appointment time could be honored better. I've been twice and both times have taken more than 2.5 hours. The actual donation only takes 30 minutes
Have wanted to be optimistic about donating plasma with BioLife but it has really turned out to be a negative experience overall. The staff has been as helpful as they can be but in my personal experience their machines have issues more often than not. Within a 6 month period I have been deferred (kept from donating) for 8 weeks two times (total of 16 weeks) and have had a total of three donating interruptions due to machine failure. So in 6 or 7 months I haven't been able donate half of that time. I will
Great way for extra income. Healthy safe and clean. Positive enviro
I did my first donation today and every single staff member I encounter was so kind and helpful. It helped with calming my nerves for sure. Everything was very clean even though they were super busy they were sanitizing everything in between people. Will be recommending this place to everyone ??
Had to change my review because now I dread going to my appointments. This place used to be nice but the lady at the front has been rude multiple times. Consider going to a different town or with a different company for donations. Original This is the first place I've gone to donate plasma at and it has been an easy and pleasant experience everytime. It is always very clean and everyone is always kind and helpful. The first time takes a little longer as they have to check and make sure you are eligible and
I like the staff a lot. They're all very attentive and friendly. The one thing that could be remedied is to get the donors in at the appointment time scheduled or at least close to it. Also, I feel like we all should get the first time donors coupon. Idk why I didn't get one but it wasn't given to me.
The staff are amazing and management is always on top of things.. The only downside of the entire experience is that the wait for beds is long and even after your first donation, you are waiting at least an hour to two hours from the time you check in to the time you start pumping. It messes me up sometimes because from the time I eat to the time I get there is about an hour. And then by the time I donate another hour or more passes. I think if the appts were more spread out or more of a limit as to how man
There are too many wonderful people to name them all, but Zeke and Emily get a shoutout for always doing their jobs well and with a smile, even engaging in friendly conversation with a weirdo like me! The entire staff is incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful. I have not had a single bad experience in my time donating here, and it is nice to have smiling faces when returning to donate.
From my first experience, to the many after, I've always been treated professionally and respectfully. It does get busy sometimes, but the staff go above and beyond to make sure that each experience is a pleasant one. Giving the gift of plasma is a good thing and the staff at the Stockton BioLife Plasma Center are wonderful to work with.
Staff is excellent (especially the phlebotomists, Christina in particular!) + makes donating plasma an easy + comfortable experience! ???? Wait times have really increased since I started donating plasma here last year, but don't let that discourage you - just plan to be at BioLife for a couple of hours + schedule your appointments accordingly. ?? Employees do their best to get you in + out as quickly as they can while still providing thoughtful, considerate care! I absolutely recommend donating plasma at t
BioLife is a fantastic place to have plasma donations done. My experience there has been top notch and the staff are gentle and professional. If you have the chance to meet Stacy, you're in great hands. She will take excellent care of you. I deem one other as a standout, Sydney. She is so kind and cheerful with a fantastic smile! Each time I see her on my appointments, she makes it impossible for me to leave in a bad mood and I can't wait to make my next visit. I thank you all. I recommend BioLife with full
BioLife plasma services is sanitary also professional. The staff is Swift to meet your needs. They are well explanatory and prepare you for the services. I recommend them even to return.
I've been a patient at the Biolife Stockton location since May. I return ever week to donate twice for the week and everytime I stop by the staff never fail to impress me. Sometimes when there are many donors and its a mad house, they all seem to handle the stress well and remain completely professional. They have always cared for their patients and it shows with compassion. I highly recommend this location to all who wish to contribute to the cause of donating plasma. Will continue to come in every week,
Great place to donate and make some cash for billsl! I like how you can set your own appointments time and or reschedule last minute. I'm going on 6 months and keeping up on my water intake eating healthy. Staff makes you feel comfortable and checks on you while donating I feel like I'm in good care here.
I had my first time a few days ago, sadly I didn't hydrate and eat properly before coming so I'm sure you can guess what happened. As I was on the verge of passing out during my session maria, Jessica and Erica acted quickly to make sure I didn't go unconscious. They were fast and professional, making sure to keep me calm and awake. 10/10 on the quick, caring and respectful staff. ??????
Seems koo sometimes. Today was sitting in the donor bed for an hour before I got hooked up.
I went there hoping to donate. The front office receptionist was awesome. The first step was signing consents when they asked if I had a phobia too needles I said I don't like them. That person was very rude made me feel uncomfortable. After that they made me feel like I said a bad word. They all rushed in a room and took me into a room and pretty much called me a liar. Saying that I said I had a phobia too needles. Felt attacked. The short big white lady said they had too deferred me. Awful experience
Just sat down to start my survey like usual, been coming here for over a year. Looked at my watch for 2 seconds because I had about 5 seconds before the system will let me login in. A lady comes over scolding me for looking at my watch to see the time. I'm a very quiet person and never cause trouble. Just felt like this was not needed. I just walked out?
The first appointment I had, they called to cancel/reschedule me while I was already on the freeway heading there. The second appointment, they turned me away because it had been too long since my last meal (they should tell people that a meal prior to donating is mandatory). The third appointment, I was 15 minutes late due to a traffic accident, and had to reschedule 2 hours later because they only had a 10 minute grace period. I came back two hours later, sat down for an hour, gave my personal info, then
Update: That lady is gone now and the center is much more pleasant. Update. The blond lady at the counter ruined the 5 stars (previously given). I've been donating there since the day they opened. This is my second interaction with her rudeness. Makes me not want to go to the Stockton location, which is unfortunate, becauase everyone else there is so nice. Original Review The crew at BioLofe Plasma is exceptional. They remember me by my name and make conversation with me every time I come in. Especiall
The staff is excellent at the Stockton facility. I'm terrible with names but I've had a different phlebotomist all 3 times that I've donated and they are so skilled. I've never had any bruising at the draw site. They are all friendly and attentive and work well as a team.
I had horrible experiences coming here. Do not recommend. The staff doesn't seem to take their job serious. Girls are messy talking about personal issues in-front of patients. First time I donated left with a hematoma. Second time trying to donate waited in line to donate for one hour until I got on a bed, staff struggled with one arm had hematoma they tried other arm messed that one too. They told me I had to be suspended due to them having issues and messing with the veins too much. Left that day with 2
My complaint about this location is the managment is over booking more than the staff can handle. 2 of the 7 times I went I got out within 1 hour. (Which is good) The other 5 times I stayed longer than 2 hours. I have 1 donation to complete to finish the 8 donations and I probably won't even go and miss out on $100 because that's how bad it is. The process is You will stand in line a minuminn hour and a half , wait in the bed for another 30 minutes to get hooked up, 30 minutes for your plasma to finish, and
Zero stars if I could and I'm gonna keep rating yall low if every time I come in with an appointment I don't get stuck until 3 hours later that makes no sense and the workers like to talk a lot but less work
Friendly staff, not hard to do, attentive nurses and phlebotomists, saving lives one donation at a time!
Their system's built for cattle....they keep you moo-vin but milk your time out drip by drip. The people there are nice but so what! I've yet to leave before 2 hours have passed. You will get paid for your patience & plasma
The Modesto location is very clean and the workers are very friendly and professional. I would recommend coming and donating. Helps others plus puts some extra cash in your bank.
Always a great experience. The staff is so friendly. Lupita , Cielo, ?rica, Jennifer, Maria ,Aamenah., should be commended for the great job. What an awesome group. Thank them all for the great care an d and dedication that they show each and every one of my visits.
I've been coming here when this center opened I've encountered no issues with the amazing nurses that help me in the back they are all wonderful sweet kind . But the center supervisors Sydnee and Stacy need to be more professional. I personally hear them everytime I come in to donate yelling at the staff. Huffing and puffing if you are not going to step in to help them do not take your anger and frustration out on the ones that are the hard workers. I feel the negative energy when they walk around thinking
Came in on a thursday afternoon, best time to come in, not a lot of people, lines were nonexistent lol. Erika helped me today & was amazing! Very kind, informative & professional. This being my first time donating, she made me feel very comfortable. Donating isn't so scary! :)
They never get the needle in the first time. Havent been able to come back since the hematomas. Arm is currently bruised and in pain. Don't recommend the stockton branch. Unprofessional phlebotomists here.
I love my BioLife family, Zeke is definitely one of my many favorites! I refer all my family, coworkers and friends to come not only help save lives but earn some extra money. The staff is really friendly, professional and helpful. The center is always clean.
After coming from the Mt. Juliet donation center in Tennessee, it seems that this location has poor management. A couple times I've had a speedy service. 10-15 mins for vitals and 30-50 mins for plasma donation. But all other times it will take an hour to be seen for vitals? a half an hour of being ignored on the donation chair and then another 40 mins donation process. I have great experiences with the male staff like with Zeke and Hugo? they are super sweet and understanding but it seems like the female p
Not only is it a great thing to donate plasma for people who need it but the customer service here at the Stockton center is excellent. The people are very professional but also very friendly and always good conversations. I come twice a week and have not had any issues for the past 5 months.
The staff is really attentive and help the process go smoothly and relatively fast for what you're doing. Appointments are easy to aquire and rescheduling is really easy as well.
I recently became a donor. Biolife personnel have all been GREAT! Everyone is helpful in explaining everything. I feel secure in donating and cared for. So GLAD I can help others out and get rewardef for it as well!
CSL is better and it's stuff I didn't like there either, The process here was longer and they take forever to hook you up, I have perfect veins so I never have issues ANYWHERE they have bruised both of my arms and they don't let you donate because of that, They also mark your arm so they can be precise Smh
If you're going to sell your plasma, do not go here. The staff is undeniably rude and blatantly disrespectful. One of the staff members was being unpredictability racist towards me, calling me a "cracker" and "ooooohh the white boy is coming, get to come to the line now." When someone asked me a basic question, the staff screamed at me and then said "don't schedule them, we don't want them back". So please when choosing a place to sell your plasma, don't go here.
I have donated with Biolife in Stockon 3 times. I had never donated before and the staff here have made it very simple. Amir the MH was great and answered my questions while takingmy vitals. Erika started my line today and she also answered all my questions (I ask lots of questions) and was very friendly. In the past Zeke and Fady have started my mines and did a great job. The facility is very clean and the staff seems to really enjoy working here which made it a nice environment to be in.
I leave with a smile and I meet a new friend at every appointmebt. "Some diseases can only be treated with medicines made with plasma. Since plasma can't be made synthetically, many people rely on plasma donors like you to live healthier, happier lives." BioLife Plasma Services. #humankindness
I'm at my 6th visit and every single time I come in its been the best. Now this is my first plasma clinic that I've ever been to but I've heard nothing but good things from other people that been to other plasma clinic how other plasma clinic are just not as good as this one and how the staff are not nice well I'm so glad I chose to come to this one first I'll let everyone know how the other 6places I go to after this one. and I gotta do a shoot out to a couple of staff members that are amazing fady dionne
I liked that some staff explained the process to me, there was a few times I was a little confused as to what was going on but was later given answers to my questions. Everything was clean and organized.
These guys are so unprofessional! They constantly overbook themselves and cancel appointments last minute. I've driven over an hour multiple times just to have them cancel my appointments for varying arbitrary reasons. This is the last straw and I will not ever be coming back here.
This place is a joke. I drove a hour to get there just to have them tell me I couldn't donate because i didn't have a "full lunch" I have eaten breakfast a light lunch and then dinner for years. I don't need a hack job nurse to tell me how to manage my body.
I first came for the money, now I realize how important it is to help others that need Plasma. The techs and staff are awesome. It's nice when they see you and call you by name. It's a pleasure to come twice a week to Bio Life in Stockton.
The wait is 3 to 4 hours long and then you have to STAND in lines because they don't offer anyone sitting. This place is ridiculous and they don't care about the donors.
I've been donating here for a little over a month now and every single Phlebotomist working here is friendly and helpful. Bathroom is always kept clean too which is a nice bonus. I love being able to donate here.
When I donated my first time I wasn't hydrated enough and didn't eat well that day either so I almost passed out but thanks to Aamenah and her coworkers (I don't remember their names) they kept me from actually passing out and calm. Also Sienna was professional, friendly, and answered any questions I had. I would recommend you donate your plasma here!
I got a massive hematoma in both arms. One is now infected due to contamination at the march lane facility. Do not go there...
The lack of diversity among the staff and phlebotomistis was staggering. The phlebotomist Assigned to me, spoke with her Colleague in another language over the top of my body. I said.." I can't understand you". The phlebotomist said "That's okay, we're just discussing your vitals." As if that should be excepted as normal. My attending phlebotomist should speak in another language, that I don't understand while discussing my health. The machine was operated on highest setting. Too much for my weight gr
The techs at this location are some of the best I have had experiences with. The techs make a point in knowing your name and taking the time to say hi. Very friendly staff and decent payouts for donations.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
