This was my fifth donation... I'm not going back. When I arrived, someone was rushing back in because they didn't wrap his arm well and he was bleeding out. Then after an excessive wait, the needle poke was very painful. When the needle was taken out that was also very painful. During the donation I could feel my blood being pumped out at the injection site which I've never felt before. I was honestly scared because of the vibrating at the injection. I don't like getting stuck so I just sucked up the p
It was my first time donating, and the staff were the best! They made me feel comfortable during the whole process. My body didn't have the best reaction after donating for a few minutes, and they were quick to act when I let them know how I was feeling! They took great care of me before, during, and after my donation.
It is a solid place. They are professional yet treat you like a person. The procedure is painless really except for the boredom of sitting there for 45 min but that,s why we all have phones. It can get busy at some times, however, it is much better than any others that I've tried. If you're thinking about trying it out these guys are the best (I've tried many) so start here, if you don't like it then its not for you because this is the top.
Overall it is a good plasma center However there has been some recent changes here . Donors who would donate a certain amount before are required now to donate more plasma which was a serious concern being that it can feel draining afterwards but 1098ML donation from 893ml donation is a big jump without any additional compensation. Not very happy with these new guidelines and therefore causing longer delays due to BioLife wanting more plasma for the compensation they offer. Just an honest review for new don
??????????BioLife is increasing plasma donation volumes (e.g., 800s to 1098mL) using new technology, but donor pay often isn't proportionally increasing, which is a common frustration. If this is an issue for you, ask staff for details or consider other options like CSL Plasma or Octapharma, as their pay structures can differ.???????????? Mine used to be at around 888ml. No noticeable difference in compensation and no notice of change to patients. Suss.
I just left injured after they missed the vein completely and just stabbed my muscle. I feel it was intentional because I was born with a facial deformity. And also this donation "attempt" in this case is #3 and the first time I donated I was injured also. So 2/3 of my visits resulted in injury. Then, these incompetent psychopaths told me after they injured me and I'm in pain that they'll only give me $20 since, while in pain THEY caused, I was unwilling to let them injure my other arm (go for injury #3?).
Amazing!!!! Highly recommend the Tempe BioLife location! The staff was incredibly professional, efficient, and courteous. Unlike my experiences at the Mesa location, the Tempe center was fully staffed and very fast. I waited less than 1 minute for needle removal after my donation, a stark contrast to the disorganized and slow service I've encountered in Mesa (once waiting almost 40 minutes). A much better experience overall!
Staff are mostly pleasant BUT...I am frequently deferred for failing protein, pulse or blood pressure, none of which are ever an issue otherwise. However, each time I've been deferred, I go straight to Grifols where I am always able to donate without issue. How can protein be off at one company but not at another the same day less than one hour later? That tells me one of two things: either your vitals-testing staff are incompetent or your equipment is faulty. As I like everyone there I am hard pressed to n
I've been here 5 times and every single time I got deffered. The first time I went, I did all the paperwork, blood test, and questionaire, but I got deffered because I have very mild sleep apnea. They told me I had to get a plasmapheresis participation form signed by my sleep doctor and to have her fax it back to them. After calling BioLife several times and never getting a response, they finally faxed it to the right number. After my doctor faxed the form back to them, they lost the form/didn't find it any
I went here for the first time today and it was great. If you are a first timer, plan to be there for 2 hours. The actual procedure takes about 45 minutes to an hour, but you have a physical to take and you have a few questions to answer on a computer before you get the procedure done. The needle is simply an I.V needle, its not a big deal. I will be coming back! This place is very clean and everyone was very friendly, ALSO....Hydrate before you come in, and eat some eggs or chicken for breakfast an hour or
My experience and services provided by BioLife Plasma Staff and Doctors have always been kind, courteous, respectful, and considerate towards myself and others around me. Their facility is always organized, professional and kept clean. Especially the outside of the building. I'm happy to have found a place managed with such care and dignity as this one on Elliott Rd. in Tempe, Az.
They said they needed some paperwork from my doctor before I could donate. I got the doctor to fill out the form and brought it back. A month later they contact me and say I'm approved. I go there and the receptionist said that whoever contacted me was wrong, and that before they even gave me the forms they had already decided not to approve me regardless of what the doctor said. If they had just said no at the beginning I would have understood. Even if they had fun making me get my doctor to fill out f
I have always had a pleasant experience here for the most part. You cannot expect everything to go smoothly each time but I can tell you these guys work very hard ?? I appreciate Keele, Chelsea,Darius, Paige, Daisy, and Becca for always being pleasant and being great sticks!
Don't make an appointment at the end of the day if you need the money. I attempted to donate at my home center in Avondale yesterday and had to wait until today due to low protein levels. The only center in the valley that had appointments available after my work shift today was the Tempe center. I left work early to ensure I'd be on time, which I was. They were very busy and ended up having too many donors to accept all donations; mine included. They did apply a comeback coupon to my next two donations, wh
Just had the most frustrating experience waiting almost 2 hours after my appointment for a physical that I didnt get to have. The staff is kind but it appeared that everyone was moving at a leisurely pace despite having such high wait times. I know everybody has their own tasks at hand, but it doesn't help the experience to watch people in scrubs avoid contact and shrug at you when you ask how long your wait will be. I was so frustrated I wanted to cry. Had to leave because of school. I wasted my money get
The staff were great and very professional. But the the amount of time I was informed for first time donors that it would take and the time it actually took were nowhere near the same. Online it says 2 hours, but in reality, the staff said 3-5 hours after I had already been there for 3 hours. It was misleading and all quite frustrating. If its going to take longer than 2 hours, don't post online that it'll only be 2 hours.
This afternoon I had FANTASTIC people. For my finger prick and my donation, both ladies were fast while still being kind and caring. I wish I was good with names because I'd love to name them and get them recognition. Finger prick, I was at the farthest station with the laptop probably around 4ish and for my donation I was in purple with, I THINK she said her name is Jules? Anyway- great people for a great experience. I hope BioLife reads these and does something to recognize these amazing people they have
Welp.. I guess it's time for a review. Booked an appointment for 5:50. Came in on time or just a little early. When I got to be second in line to get my vitals checked, a worker came around and handed out a card and said to come back next time, this was around 6:05. I asked, ?So don't book at 5:50?? She responded with, ?Thank you for your feedback.? ?.. I'm dumbfounded. So this card she gave me states I get 40 additional dollars, divided up in two visits. And expires 30 days from date written. Not sure what
if i could give this place 0 stars i would. they do not prioritize getting people in and out at all and it's sickening. nobody wants to come for a simple donation and be here for 4 hours each time. You will most definitely always wait 1 hour before you even get into a bed, you'll wait an hour to be stuck to donate, you'll donate for 30 min to an hour then wait ANOTHER HOUR to be unstuck alllll while they have a huge line of people waiting for those beds just staring at you because you finished donating. its
They're okay but I make an appointment and I have to be at work after and it's takes over an hour or more for the whole process bc there doesn't seem to be enough employees or they accept too many people for one slot of time it's rude and inconvenient UPDATE: was in the building about an hour sitting on a bed for almost 15 minutes and no one could get me set up and I was going to be late to work so I had to leave and missed my donation. Please get it together guys. TOP ACCEPTING SO MANY APPOINTMENTS IF YOU
I made my first donation and had disclosed that I am allergic to the adhesive on the Coban that is used to wrap the area once the donation is completed. I made my follow up appointment drove quite a distance to the location to donate again. I was then told that I was on deferral because of my allergy. I went home and several days later. I received an email that the deferral had been lifted. Once again, I drove 30 miles one way to the location and was told that there was a mistake. I was still on deferral. I
Staff here is very friendly but now I recall why I stopped donating, scheduled my appointment for 9:35, checked in at 9:25. It's now 10:50 and still haven't donated! Had to leave cause I actually have things to do! I typically donate the money I get from donating plasma but now I'm also giving 3-4 hours of my time! Need to get staffed please Update: I see your reply but also see you did NOT READ my actual review and sent a generic ?copy and paste? replay. I have no issues with compensation. My issue i
I never have bad interactions there, however last week was a first. I was deferred for no reason of my own. Even staff I previously encountered over the years were surprised that happened to me. I was waiting to be disconnected when a tech chose to set up a donor instead. I didnt say anything but the donor being set up informed the tech she can assist me first. He even stated had time to wait. I never suggested anything however, upon my next donation I was deferred because I ?complained? about the time it t
The staff is always happy to greet and assist. I can tell they put up with quite a bit. Donors can get impatient and at times rude. Bridger assisted me and he was extremely helpful and very nice. He maintained his positive helping self even after having two back to back pushy and demanding donors. So great job!
Great service and staff at the Tempe facility. Everyone there does an excellent job and is very professional and skilled! I have had great service from Grace, Bridger, Jarom, Sarah, Derek, Keeley, Rebecca, and others. These names mentioned are AMAZING!!! Give them all a raise!!!!!! They deserve it!!!
It's normally a good interaction here. But today staff is literally just walking around. I have been in the donation section now for 20 minutes waiting to be hooked to a machine. There are only 3 people in this area me being the 3rd person. It's never taken this long and i don't think i?ll come back because of this. Maybe have your new people train on a specific date or day of the week. Definitely don't have the new people (who take longer) setting up the machine. That added an additional 15 minutes so in t
Staff is very ignorant to basic medical procedures. They make you wait 1 hours to be told they can't do a withdrawal. Rude and inattentive staff that has zero customer service training. Go to CSL to donate plasma. Most unprofessional medical facilities
Been there a couple times before early last year, never had an issue. The new phlebotomists are really good and considerate, even though some of the patients aren't. Reb is awesome and super personable, takes her time and makes sure you're comfortable. I have zero complaints besides maybe the wait time but what can you expect at a blood bank.
My husband goes to this location and they're always rude they always miss a vein and he ends up bruised bad and can't donate until the bruise is gone. They give him attitude when he asks a question . They take others before him even though his appointment is before the other person they take forever putting his money on his card somerimes not even the full amount! This place sucks chorizo
Was ok until my last donation.. 3/26 6:20pm.. the girl who made sure she pointed out that my pants reminded her of some weird situation back in middle school.. convo was so inappropriate in every way possible. I felt so humiliated by her singling me out. She talked so much that she messed up my results. A total waste of my time and I'm a property manager who finally had some time to stop by.
Every time I come now at 6am they only have 1 person working to pull plasma. Like really. We come early so we can get out fast but have to wait over 1hr cause only 1 person working. What is going on with the management not staffing more employees.
The employees were nice and professional and very informative. It was my first time donating The process was a lot less scary and painful than I thought. Overall great experience.
They advertise 750.00 then get in there and the director says yeah you get a coupon for a hundred plus 650 and then wait an hour to get physical and be told no that's not true they don't all do that, that was never indicated in the ad, then after waiting 2 hours through the process to sit down for them to start hooking me up they going to tell me they can't find a vein big enough and I asked why don't you check that in the beginning when the lady says we used to but the policy was changed what a bunch of BS
The whole staff at BioLife are the best people to put a smile on your face soon as you walk in with their comfortable music and their welcominganners! I love coming to BioLife!!!
The discrimitory practices of the staff are unbelievable.. very rude. The nurse staff in particular. I recieved a notice indicating i was able to donate, after being rejected for a 10 y.o diagnosis pf sleep apnia. Which is gone now and has nothing to do with plasma. Time waisted twice .
I wouldn't suggest going to this facility staff are poorly trained ! I instantly got a Hematoma soon as I was stuck with the needle the guy breached my vain and made it swell like a grape which hurt like hell I spoke to the manager who said she hasn't been there for long named Bre with just a nasty attitude bathrooms are disgusting I highly suggest not going to this place they represent Bio Life horribly absolutely disgusted after this disaster I will never ever donate plasma again especially not at Bio Lif
Very friendly and eager to help always glad to see you they make a great team and it looks like they have a good time . Always making sure everyone leaves with a smile. I enjoy donating very much
Friendly and Professional Staff: The staff members are welcoming, attentive, and treat donors with respect and professionalism. They are knowledgeable, answer questions patiently, and ensure that donors feel comfortable throughout the process. Efficiency: The check-in and donation processes are usually streamlined and efficient. Donors are attended to promptly, with minimal wait times, which is particularly important for those with busy schedules. Clean and Comfortable Environment: The facility is clean and
Been donating plasma and going to this location for the better part of 2 years now. This has been a great side gig to make a little extra cash on the side while also doing a good things to help people. My experience at this Biolife center has overall been positive. It can get very busy depending on the time of the day, so just be prepared for that. I found in the middle of the morning or slightly after lunch to be the best time. Things more fairly quickly but sometimes can get backed up depending on how ma
I didn't want to leave this review as I've pretty much have had great donor experiences as Biolife specifically this Tempe location however today was not that same situation. I haven't donated in almost a year since my schedule has been hectic however I decided to go back today which resulted in me needing a physical again and blocked out some time in my work schedule. I completed my physical and she went to do a vein check and placed the blood pressure cuff and started to feel for veins while the cuff wasn
While the operations so far run very smoothly, which I appreciate?I am a bit put off by the attitude of the staff?Donating can be a bit stressful for new donors, and no smiles, no welcoming feeling, and a bit of attitude doesn't make the experience pleasant?I'm hoping this improves, or else I may look for another donation location?
They were all so rude! I don't recommend going there. Chelsea yelled at me for not knowing where to go. Also the nurse yelled at me. They are so unorganized!
Although my husband and I had a bit of a hiccup, apparently minors (our baby) are not allowed in the facility even though it is not stated online or in the building that I could find. So I had to reschedule my appointment for a later time. I did have an additional 20 minute wait to be checked in. Once I got sat down to start the donation process it was seamless. My tech, Darius, was very kind, soft spoken and explained everything well. Looking forward to coming back and completing the promotional compensati
Overall a pleasant experience. One employee who checks blood and vitals before donation was notably unfriendly?somewhat lacking in warmth or approachability. While the rest of the staff was great, just a note for those involved in hiring: kindness and professionalism go a long way. Some things, like friendliness, are hard to teach.
Most of the employees seem angry not all them but most of them very rude. Also never pick up phones and no call backs. Very poor management. Sorry but not Sorry! I got robbed out of my promotion also!
As you can tell by my profile I don't review often and when I do it's because I either are genuinely pleased or extremely dissatisfied. I have been donating off and on for about 3 years and have often loved my experiences at the Mesa location they know how to do it right!! This place on the other hand needs help they are often disorganized and have a very unpleasant attitude. At Mesa there where a couple of times I was accidentally late by 10+ min and they still let me do my appointment but Tempe apparently
Ask what the exact policies are because they like to add on new rules during the screening process that was never discussed about beforehand thus wasting the time and gas that it takes to make it to these appointments.
Donating at Biolife Tempe has always been a good experience. Their staff is trained well to care about the donor. Donating is fulfilling. Keep up the good work.
I have been coming for many donations since the end of October and a bad habit of the people in the drawing centers is not getting people unhooked after they are done. I have had multiple instances of at least 2 other people getting unhooked or hooked up before me. Especially when I'm supposed to be getting another powerade in me because of the saline shortage, waiting almost 10 minutes feels like an eternity with a needle in your arm.
The staff here are the nicest people I've ever worked with everyone tried to help as much they can from the front desk Samaria to the doctor who did my physical examination. During my first donation i was extremely anxious and they tried as much as they can to calm me down. The nurses are helpful and always smiling, during my first donation my blood pressure dropped towards the end and they immediately stopped the donation and gave me Sailine and electrolytes and made sure that I don't leave until I'm feeli
shockingly inefficient. they keep entire sections of beds empty while there are 20+ people in line. either get more staff or don't let ppl book appointments
I recently donated 2 times. On the first visit you take a physical so it can take 2 hours but the second donation was only about an hour. The new machines are awesome! Darius made my donation painless and fast! It only took 30 maybe 40 minutes, start to finish. I donated last year and the old machines took over an hour to donate. 5 stars plus! Good job BioLife!
The facility is clean and bright. The staff are professional, the process is quick and easy.
The service is great ,the techs are super efficient and I'm in and out in less than 60 minutes.
I've been to this location three times. I've had the pleasure of being worked on by the attendant name Darius all three times and it was beyond excellent. Friendly professional courteous and respectful Darius made me feel comfortable . The front staff are fantastic and they all want you to be safe with your donation. Please be mindful that every donor has a different need so times may vary depending on how busy. Thank you Darius And Cory up front and all the other wonderful people at this Tempe location.
Very friendly staff, very clean facility. You will feel safe here, I definitely did.
Today was my worst donation at this location. Beca from Lancaster messed up my arm so bad. I have asked her not to insert the needle on the same spot from last time I did donated. She still did that and dug around my vein looking for a vein. The process started taking my blood but when it was trying to return the blood, the area where she inserted started burning and bubbling up. I told her to take it off and I have asked her not to dig around for the vein but she still did. My arm is now in pain and it loo
I have made about 25 donations at this location on Elliott Rd. I went today and had the worst experience that I have ever had donating. Everything was going good during check in and doing vitals but when it came to process of now drawing the plasma, I was sent to the Red area to get sticked. That area has 5 to 6 donor recliners and only 2 people where already getting drawn before I sat down. The girls that were suppose to stick me were unprofessional, gossiping, just standing around talking during certain p
I'm banned for 8weeks cause the staff won't take it easy on new donors. The staff literally said when we don't put the needle in correctly this happens, now i have to suffer the consequences. It's my second time and this happens, I recommend the bio on Meza, they actually care for your well being. But I guess I'm done, I mess up is to much when I comes to people veins/blood.
My experience at Bio-life has been good. Tricky finding my veins, but they do an awesome job.
I do enjoy donating plasma here. My only grip is that management consistently overbook. I schedule my appointments for 7:05 AM. There are many times I do not get hooked up until 7:45 . This is not a good idea. Remember, donors give their time to come in and donate. Yes, you do pay us, but you also need the plasma. Please, hold to the schedule. I do not like waiting in lines for the medical and donor.
If you are a victim of domestic abuse and get nervous around males or people , do not come. They do not listen or care. You will not be able to donate because of the higher heart rate. They will do nothing to accommodate, like going into a room for vitals without a crowd of people at your back.
On 10/8/2024 a donor in front of me was obstructing the donation line that prevented the people behind him from moving forward. I was the only one who felt comfortable enough to do so and he made patronizing comments after I did. He obstructed the movement of the line a second time. I reported this to the staff. On my next visit on 10/12/2024 i found my account on hold and a supervisor named Sarah confronted me and said that a complaint was made about me after I had made my own report. In a rude and demeani
On 10/12 While donating Thursday morning, I tried to inform staff needle had issues in vein, as evidenced by blood at site, they continued the process causing fluid return to infiltrate area, needing to transfer donor site to left arm. Now when I show up for second donation to get my bonus 85.00 , I'm told unable to donate to use to "new policy" of bruised arms, and having to reschedule..making me miss my bonus second donation. No reimbursement given. Since I didn't cause this...I showed for donation, I sho
Leaving this review for Keeley sorry if I spelled it wrong! She was wearing ?it's just the face? on her white jacket! BY FAR THE BEST PERSON that works here. Everyone needs her attitude and work as efficiently as she does. Got me in and out, made sure I was fine. Made this place actually RUN! Not like the other phlebotomist that work here. YOU GO GIRL!!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU
Was happy to see the new donors staggered with the current donors while waiting in line for vitals. I understand that their time is longer, but when you stand in line for a long time, it can be a little frustrating to see multiple people be placed in front of you. I liked the staggering system because you felt like you were moving. ??
Current donor at Tempe BioLife & most certainly having a wonderful experience while saving lives. Keelleey it's definitely somebody that stands out to me with their outstanding customer service skills, knowledge of BioLife and services, professionalism, and overall well put together look, no matter the time or day they always look prepared & ready to be excellent for us donors. The amount of excellency that they exhibit and adhere to is quite admirable & keeps me coming back to this location (Knowing that I
Got permanently banned from donating due to my sexuality. They said I " lied" about it, which I never had, in any instance of my life. Apparently the possibility of pushing the wrong button in their questionnaire doesn't happen...
No one answers the phone. Go ahead and try. No one will answer you. You must drive miles out of your way to come in person just to schedule a visit for the next day because no one answers the phones. Donating here is a 2 day journey every donation. My online portal never works and the only way to schedule an appointment is to come a day early and schedule the next day. So instead of me only visiting 2 times a week I'm forced to go there 4 times a week.
Not enough compensation and I've been pause my donations because of slow service in the building and making me wait for too long to get started while I'm Already in bed waiting and when it's done donate I have to wait for more than 15 minute sometimes to get disconnected ! the needles stay long in my vain ! For Very Little compensation I have to pause it.
The Tempe location got me through the new donor process relatively quick. I've donated multiple times since then and I have usually been paired up with a technician that is quick but rude. I appreciate the quickness but some of the employees are unpleasant and wouldn't even look me in the eye, try to smile, or ask me how I'm doing. I would have chalked it up to ?maybe it was a bad day? but because of the consistent unpleasantness I have resorted to attending the Mesa location, which has excellent and pleasa
This is the cleanest and most organized places that l have given plasma. The staff has always been professional and welcoming. The loss of stars are due to the low compensation and the overbooking. You schedule your time online and still somehow there is often a line of 20 people or more between the two lines. I have missed as many appointments as I've made because I cannot wait an extra hour+. And driving there and back costs me $10 in gas, so every missed appointment is a loss. The compensation changes w
Most always a great experience. The one thing you need to fix. If you need to pick a time for your donation, there should never be a line to wait to get the donation. I could tell you were clearly understaffed. This is hard to overcome but if people are calling out you need a policy in place to not allow this as it plays hard on the technicians and the wait time of the donors.
Clean, organized, good workers. My favorite part is the child care (up to 6 kids per person) though sadly it's been closed during the pandemic. Sometimes their promotions are insane, well over $100 even. Bring something to do, free wifi.
Miranda was at her finest I think that was her name , with her glasses and always smiling ,great job
This place almost never picks up the phone. You would think as much money they make off donors they could have a receptionist.
My visit was superb! Great experience, quick and easy donation. Felt at home with my conversation during donating. Well taken care of, very pleased! Staff at this location are awesome, keep up the great work BioLife squad!
They don't submit their new donors into the system during the end of the year holidays, so all the new donors can't donate after their first visit, missing out on hundreds of dollars.
I've been going to this location for 2 1/2 years and it is my favorite! Everyone goes above and beyond to make your donation a pleasant one. Super friendly and helpful. I've been to others and this location is THE BEST! So many great staff here but I must shout out Jess who is at front desk! She always is cheerful and helpful! Thanks Jess!!! Also Brittany is absolutely the best! I never have an issue with her. She's always so cheerful AND attentive. From day one always a sweetheart! 5/21/23 It won't let me
As a current donor and patient at BioLife Tempe, I've had the thrill to experiencing the wonderful professionalism that is this astounding donation center where you will find friendly staff, friendly donors and always clean well kept environment. Expect many levels of professionalism and empathy from staff, 10 outta 10 would recommend
Friendly staff clean and professional being the former lead at a different plama donation center I can tell you these guys are 100 ?? % professional
l arrived at 6:45 for a 7 pm appt, signed in at 6:50p, completed the check-in process, and stood in line (with several other donors) until one of the staff from the donation area walked to the front and blurted out that they weren't taking any more donors. She didn't even address us personally, she just said it like whatever! I was confused, I had stood in line and it's was now 7:40 pm and just like that, you tell us you're not taking anyone else? Is this common practice? Could management have asked us at 7
I waited for over an hour past my appointment time before I was even seen. That's uncalled for and honestly the reason i may not go back again
U want a smooth donation and have scar tissue? Go above it and ask for a phlebotomist who knows what their doing. The best phlebotomist there is Chelsea! I ask for her every time. I'll stay donating here as long as she's available here. Keep up the great work Chelsea!??????
The staff are always friendly and try to put you at ease aboutthe wholeprocess.
I don't dislike the place. It is crazy busy sometimes, but the workers are nice. It's mainly the patients that are annoying and rude. But please, if you can give some of the workers a raise, especially the Gorgeous one I don't want her to leave
I had an appointment for 6 PM on a Friday. I showed up one minute before six. The doors were already locked. The lady at the front desk came out and told me that I was too late to come. Donate since they were already closed I tried telling her that my appointment was at six, which was still admitted away and she was super rude and told me I was SOL even though I spoke with someone on the phone and they said it was fine that I was showing up at that time. This place is gone downhill drastically. They are alw
It's good they just never answer the phone first day. Annoying when u have emergency
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
