BioLife Plasma Services Temple, TX

This is the best place I've donated plasma, by far! The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean and well kept. There always seems to be plenty of staff and short wait times.

Honestly it's a far drive for me from here and home but it is what it is. The people are kinder here they listen to you they actually engage in conversation with you and check if you're okay. I'm like the one in Killeen and how the other girl treated me there getting if they haven't done anything about it I don't even know but if they did I hope something gets done about it because it's not the first time I seen a review on that same girl. FREEZING , NON COMPASSIONATE , Not from this location. From Waco. I'm in temple becuse my child?s is in the hospital and has been for 3 days. I'm not leaving temple till my child is leaving with me. I need money for soaps sox ext. I didn't know this location was going to be legit freezing. So come by the end of the questions I'm SHIVERING so I steeped out to my car in the handicap parking spot RIGHT in front of the doors. I was outside less time then for the automatic doors to shut. The Temple BioLife is the worst. The vitals staff is hit or miss. They are either really nice or so rude you feel your their inconvenience for even being there. As for the people hooking you up to donate it seems the staff needs more practice because on more then one occasion I have come out of there with my arm so bruised I wasn't able to donate for weeks afterwards. I almost dread coming in to donate here because I don't know how bad they are going to do each time, it's been that often. I'm not even a har

Great staff very friendly...And the facility is very clean..But for whatever reason when I get a certain person taking my vitals I cannot pass on the blood pressure...She is a nice girl and for whatever reason I cannot remember her name..All I know is she has her septum pierced...Four times not I have gotten her all four I have failed...I almost let the person behind me go in front of me just sokni would not get here..lol..

Very friendly staff. Clean and terrific atmosphere. Bring head phones so you don't interrupt anyone. The techs that stuck me with the needle did it on their first try, I appreciate it?

Any time I go to the Austin location, they seem understaffed and I sit on the bed waiting for 20-30 minutes minimum to even be connected to the machine. One time it was an hour. It ends up being an 1.5-2 hour appointment compared to an hour at the Temple location. Last time a new donor was skipped to the front of the line. Don't love the length of time it takes, but the staff are really nice and working as fast as they can, hence the 3 stars.

With the exception of a couple managers who places okay is a couple of good people that work there environments nice the centers clean for most part . After many horrific visits to CSL this place is such a breath of fresh air, I began having a reaction during my donation, Sammy, Kelly, and Brianna took very good care of me and got me back on my feet in no time. It was my first time donating at bio plasma and I can 100% say it was 10 times better than the previous plasma center I used to donate at. From beginning to end everyone was super nice and welcoming and they made the donation process super comfortable and easy.

They have a machine at a desk that's always 1% below your iron to donate but if you go elsewhere your above your required percentage. Just go to csl plasma yeah the wait times suck but they won't pull bs like this

Staff is wonderful, the place is very clean. I come to the temple location very often. The only thing about this place is that I went and donated a week ago and on my second donation I was only paid half of what it said I was supposed to get. I don't think that's on the staff but instead of 80 I got 40 for my second donation. But they were willing to look into it.

Highly recommend BioLife Plasma. The staff are fast, friendly, and professional. Definitely the best experience I've had at a plasma center. Especially being a new donor at a new location.

Awesome attitudes and customer service. Professional and comfortable atmosphere. I always ask for Ira to do my poke because of his calm aura and he always talks to me to distract me because I don't like needles. This has been a great place for me to supplement income when I was between jobs and relying on doordash. I haven't been to any other donation centers but I would absolutely recommend this one!

I came in on Sunday and the computers were not working well. I waited but then rescheduled. The staff was really amazing as they handled the barrier to signing people in the system. The young man who seemed to be in charge was amazing! No one lost their cool and stayed positive. That shows a great team.

Albeit the place is nice and the people seem friendly. BioLife in general makes the process to donate as painful as pulling teeth. If you are honest with any sort of medical issues you have to jump through hoops to get reviewed by a doctor that shows up 1 day a week.

They don't tell you they have a weight limit for they're chairs not to donate but for they're chairs! I spent 2 hours them running all the test, and them coming back great, about to start with the needle and they tell me to leave because of my size, yes I'm big 6ft6 405 pounds but to waste my time and run test knowing they were gonna not let me donate because I have to sit in they're chairs is beyond ridiculous. He'll I offered to bring a metal chair from my truck and was just told bullshit

Each staff member I've interacted with knows the perfect balance between being professional and personable. If there is a minor complication, the staff don't hesitate to fix the issue, regardless of the donor influx. I was very skeptical about going but the Temple Texas location was amazing. Super clean very professional yet friendly staff. Made the whole experience safe feeling and comfortable.

Hct test has to be rigged, everytime I come here it gives a low number but will drive 5 minutes up the road and be told I can donate at CSL and hct isn't low. Tried to donate here again today, got told it was a 32 then I told her it's no way bc I'm taking iron and was already checked at CSL today but didn't donate their and it was a 38, so she rechecked even though she isn't supposed to and it was a 36 and even said she felt it was rigged. This is now my fourth time dealing with this at this plasma center.

I had a very pleasant experience at BioLife. Ramona, Jacqueline, and Gracie, along with many other staff members I didn't get the name of, helped make the process as smooth as possible while thoroughly explaining what I needed to know and answering questions. What I think is especially great about BioLife is that you can set apportionments for your donation, so you don't have to worry about waiting for a long time hoping you'll get to donate. Rianne always does so well with getting the needle in effortlessly and with the least amount of discomfort. If you're anxious about needles she's a good option. However only giving 2 stars because the majority of phlebotomists here lack the skill and experience to stick a needle, and even when advised the position of the needle is unusually uncomfortable or placed improperly, they don't listen. Additionally they're inattentive.

I've donated at other facilities and there's no comparison. You have the best, and friendliest staff that I've ever seen. Love the fact that there is very little, if any wait time.

Rianne, I think it's spelled correctly, was phenomenal. She stayed near and calmed me when the blood wasn't flowing well and had to adjust the needle. I learned not to eat fatty foods the night before donating. If I could, I'd prefer her to be there every time I donate.

Staff is friendly no complaints there. Machines always have my vitals far off from what my normal is, iron almost always comes back low, we never had a problem with csl, and now seeing reviews of the same complaints on fb and out of the staffs own mouths, wish we had stayed with csl.

I was the first to sign up on line and the facilities first stick and there was nothing extra for the facilities first. They need EXPERIENCED people to insert the needle. I have been brused every time. They are always training but no one knows how to do it. I missed the promotions because they don't stick me correctly. Very distressing.
